[00:00:00] Speaker 1: all right everyone what is going on you know palantir little company called palantir absolutely crushed earnings and there is a nine handle on the year over year growth rate and who better to come on and talk about palantir than the leader of shook baby nation you know he's the one that gets the shook babies rattled matt how are you steve um you know it's another
[00:00:46] Speaker 2: great day it's a monday another day addicted to baddies and money um earnings went great that's all i gotta say now who's been texting i was sitting in the back for for for minutes now
[00:01:03] Speaker 1: and you're over here texting away i'm making a tweet about this about a ben rice card i just
[00:01:11] Speaker 2: bought that's fine okay i thought you were i thought you were texting uh and i was like you cheating on me is that okay it's for the content is that for the content that's fine it's for the content who else for the content i thought you were cheating on me steve i was getting jealous you know me i have anxious attachment i need your reassurance all the times you know
[00:01:34] Speaker 1: matt you're what we call a good a good role model now in all seriousness was there anything to be shook about with these earnings not that i saw steve i wondered what the hell they're gonna do with this nine billion dollars i mean i gotta tell you i'm still a little surprised what are you surprised about steve they didn't hit 100 revenue growth i'm a little surprised so i just asked claude to grade my predictions okay so i put in my powerpoint that i made i put in because i'm sure you didn't watch my video i started to and then i uh did something better with my life you know what i don't blame you it was probably pretty boring only 14 000 people watched it it was pretty boring um you know so i put the deck from the video in there with all my projections and i just uploaded palanteers earnings report and you know what i got for a little grade 100 well you know i should have uh said it's on a letter scale not a percentage scale i got an a minus claude gave me an a minus a 3.74 gpa across the scorecard is what they gave me steve you should you you hanging up shop well you know name would say why not a plus some would say i nailed it on revenue considering i say they're going to do 1.94 billion 93 percent year-over-year growth rate they did 1.935 93 percent year-over-year growth rate now they did blow earnings out more than i thought and i was pretty damn look how close i was on adjusted operating income i said they came in at 1.194 and the rule of 40 i was off by one time to hang up the boot steve i mean time to go back to work i'm getting kind of good at this some say some say some say i don't know what the hell i'm talking about some say steve knows what he's doing steve is looking good some people say i have no idea what i'm talking about what else did claude say oh i came in right on the money with pretty much everything up and down the print in total u.s revenue i was right there i was oh my god i was pretty much dead on the money crazy if you were if you were pretty much steve there wouldn't be an a minus no i'm just saying on total us revenue i got an a plus
[00:04:42] Speaker 2: you're an a plus in my heart a plus man a plus now i gotta come out and i gotta figure out what the
[00:04:52] Speaker 1: hell they're gonna do i mean next quarter i gotta tell you dare i say they're gonna have a hundred percent your over your revenue increase in q3 or q4 dare i say it
[00:05:08] Speaker 2: i wouldn't be surprised i mean you're continuing to see growth in the ndr department you're continuing to see the million dollar deals continue to flow through it's it's been astonishing i mean i just remember three years ago crying into my cheerios um about hold on hold on what type of cheerios we're
[00:05:29] Speaker 1: talking we're talking honey nut we talking frosted what are we talking here multi-grain not multi-grain what do i have the beatus i'm just thinking listen sometimes you want the texture sometimes you want
[00:05:42] Speaker 2: the different flavors i don't have cereal anymore but if i did it would definitely be either the frosted
[00:05:48] Speaker 1: or hunter nut for sure you know the frosted the blue box gets a bad wrap it's really good the blue box yeah the frosted cheerios it's freaking they're great i don't know if i've had it no steve that that's um frosted flakes no no i know my difference in cereal don't make me go to the
[00:06:09] Speaker 2: website no you said they're great they are great they're great no you're not catching yes i know what
[00:06:16] Speaker 1: what you're talking about now tony the tiger yes dude i grew up in the 80s don't don't ask me steve let's talk about let's talk about money i'm just saying just saying thanks for having me on man i love you palantir is all about the money all right they absolutely crushed it there is not a blemish if you thought if you thought amazon's quarter was good if you thought google's quarter was good they ain't got on palantir jesus christ it dare i say this is the best operating company in the market dare i say it i dare
[00:07:01] Speaker 2: i mean i i it's hard for me to poke holes in that steve first time above a billion dollars in net income uh 60 something percent free cash flow margins like that's insanity um
[00:07:17] Speaker 1: and keep in mind i'm not saying most profitable i'm saying best operating company it's moving in the
[00:07:24] Speaker 2: all things are headed in the right direction all things you got continued growth in the ndr department continued revenue growth i think it was like what was it steve it was something absurd like 20 percent quarter over quarter net income growth or something insane it was it was astonishing i mean
[00:07:45] Speaker 1: the fact that they just took their 2026 revenue guide up from a band of 77 to 79 percent to 82 percent
[00:07:55] Speaker 2: you know they're coming in at 85 to 90. likely yeah very likely um i uh i honestly don't know what to say they can the company continues to to overperform 60 percent free cash flow margins is insanity 90 percent revenue growth is insanity um to me it's just it's hitting on all cylinders it just goes to show like i think people aren't fully grasping what carp is kind of talking about and i think that people don't want to just provide their proprietary company information directly to some of these llms right you need to import some of these things and be able to to do them on prem so that you you have the sovereignty of your data that's exactly what they were talking about on the call it's exactly what they've been preaching to to customers like myself for for god knows how long like you don't want to give your golden sauce hundreds of hundreds of years of proprietary data that your company has built a mode upon and just give that over to the llms right like this is something that i don't think that people have ever really grasped and it's something that i've been preaching for for years as a customer and a user and a knower of what palantir does it's like they they play this in an intermediary space where they are able to help design the data flows and keep things in a manner so that way both the companies are protected as well as uh the the the model creators are are protected in a way as well so it's like having that intermediary layer where palantir kind of plays is is absolutely phenomenal and i think that with the um anyway it's just it's an interesting situation keep going no no i'm done what why are you done no like this thing no it was uh it's just an interesting sort of space and you know it's it's very very interesting how people thought that something like a palantir could have been coded away um it's just it doesn't make any sense so much so that you're seeing other companies creating for deployment engineers trying to replicate what palantir is doing right you're starting to see amazon and their earnings call talked about creating comparable sort of businesses like palantir has done um to be able to help likely maybe not necessarily to even make money on the engineer side but hopefully to be able to capture more cloud revenue uh because that's what amazon's bread and butter really is right so um this has been a fun time to watch palantir do this complete 180 be in the right place at the right time um anyway look matt wanted to wait 10 years well guess what i've been an investor since 2020 so
[00:11:16] Speaker 1: who's a shook baby now yeah shook babies who is a shook baby now and dare i say i called the bottom did you save 108 107 whatever dare i say it is actually documented that this guy called the bottom so much so he's got extra hair down today you know i was outside hair blowing in the wind so i'm gonna show you something everybody was complaining steve is selling out steve doesn't understand what he's talking about steve palantir's going to three or four hundred what do you mean it's overvalued yeah and as i thought the numbers changed i got bullish again look where i got bullish again matt looks like the bottom right maybe hopefully i mean if palantir goes down after that report
[00:12:23] Speaker 2: can you zoom in on that
[00:12:28] Speaker 1: i don't know why don't we just go with the article let's go to the article steve 10904 this got
[00:12:36] Speaker 2: published that i don't know i thought i hit 108 and 107 okay you know it's pretty much the bottom it was under 110 all right you're patting yourself on the back a lot today you're you're you're you're claiming you're the greatest of all time with any minuses you're i'm just trying to say that i'm not a shook baby that's all you're not a shook baby man and i uh you're you're one of the best contributors
[00:13:00] Speaker 1: when it comes to palantir and um man it's it's been an amazing ride 143 and you know what i'm not even gonna knock it it deserves it you know what i'll say palantir deserves right now i'm gonna have to rerun the math to trade at a minimum of 150 maybe all the way up to 165. i can say that steve you
[00:13:24] Speaker 2: know what i'm fired up about i made a split second decision towards the end of the day i was like am i buying back my covered calls oh and the answer was yes oh i did so i had some 155 165s for like was it next month or maybe it was i don't remember if it was this month or next month i forget but i was like you know what i'll come out of pocket i'll gamble obviously had palantir gone the opposite direction then it would have been massively profitable to hold on to them but now because it's going you know close to 140 145 that'll be a great opportunity to to potentially wait a day or two
[00:14:11] Speaker 1: and um hopefully sell again it's gonna be great matt you know what you're gonna be great how about that oh looks like my camera froze again steve oh well you know why why don't you take some of that money go get another camera you know this guy just disconnected on me maybe he's having a storm over there in texas whoa tommy dimes is here ladies and gentlemen matt why don't you take some
[00:14:41] Speaker 2: of that money and go get a camera you better than me steve you get a little boom mike and you go full
[00:14:50] Speaker 1: time i'm just saying by the way are you ready for how crazy i'm getting with token maxing steve i think they talked about you on the call so i used 1.6 billion tokens in the past two weeks with chat gbt legitimately one point wait hold on let me give you the exact number let me make sure i'm not telling a fib 1.7 billion in two weeks just less than two weeks we'll call it two weeks 1.7 billion tokens now i just took the entire markdown fire the file of the build threw it into claude and i just said to claude i built this desktop app application with chat gpt codex can you go through the whole thing do research on the web and figure out how you can build it better and build a full markdown file that i can give the claude code to build i want you to make it better than chat gpt and show them up i'm playing the llms against each other matt
[00:15:51] Speaker 2: we are llm maxing i um i've actually wanted to do the same to to try to replicate probably and see what happens with that wait is somebody in the chat talking straight steve is core we've actually
[00:16:03] Speaker 1: up to 80 something no core we've killed it they was up like 18 today steve i bought more uh 75 this
[00:16:11] Speaker 2: morning it was nine it is 19 and a half percent so sorry look i don't do this full time listen
[00:16:21] Speaker 1: you do i i wouldn't even say that i'm just a piker who doesn't know anything i will i leave at the bell you're even lucky you got me here now
[00:16:33] Speaker 2: i don't know what to tell you steve so where do you think we go from here i mean obviously we think the revenue is going to continue to accelerate for palantir but what is i just don't understand how they can deploy this capital i mean i was listening to a man amir and arnie they did a great job covering the call i agree holy like this is one of the quarrels i've had with the company like i get they can't do buybacks anymore because of their being part of defense and for anybody that's not really recognizing trump doesn't want them to just do buybacks meaning defense companies not just palantir but defense companies have to do buybacks they want to put that back into research development etc to make sure that companies are actually innovating and not just resting on their laurels and trying to focus on shareholders and trying to make sure that uh america uh continues to to innovate in the defense space i'll tell you what i'd do
[00:17:34] Speaker 1: what would you do steve i'd go buy rocket lab and i'd go buy andrel you know what we're going to be vertically integrated is rocket lab we could get them for like a dollar right so we'll buy them for the satellites basically free and then i'm just kidding everybody no but no seriously if you think about it i would legitimately go buy rocket lab once they close the deal with iridium because you have all the satellites and then i go buy andrel because you know what let's become the most vertically integrated defense company there is why the hell not if you can't buy back stock let's just start acquiring people i'm going to acquire you steve could you imagine if palantir said you know what we're just going to dilute the hell out of this
[00:18:26] Speaker 2: stock and just go buy andrel if they think they can get the return on investment why not oh i think that would be crazy but i don't think that they could i mean i don't know i don't know what else
[00:18:44] Speaker 1: do you do with the money you leave it on the balance sheet and just like collect interest until they lift this whole bs about buying back shares i you know i think the whole thing that happened and
[00:18:58] Speaker 2: transpired with the specs in 2021 unfortunately i think has left a bad taste in the management's mouth but i hope that they reconsider because i actually don't think that that was that bad of a move i just think that they should do it in other things right like why not do it for some like look what what the government did with intel yeah right like so if they're able to make bigger size positions like that comparatively to say the billion dollars that they spent in the past for say a bunch of smaller companies then i think that you have a possibility to to really get some sizable um investments into stuff and and i think that you you'd be able to get some real massive moves specifically if you're able to land a client like uh an airbus right which has been a pivotal client for for palantir for many years at this point if you're able to say go elephant hunting with that nine billion dollars to be like hey we're gonna go we're gonna inject two billion dollars to get special amount of shares in your company um it doesn't even necessarily have to be that big of a company it could be something that is frontier i don't know i hear you man i hear you the opportunity cost is what so three three three and a half percent um on nine billion is three hundred million dollars a year like to me that's i would rather than make an investment in
[00:20:46] Speaker 1: something i would much rather than make an investment in something i think that's the right move for them
[00:20:54] Speaker 2: whoops steve's been waiting for these earnings i just i don't know
[00:21:08] Speaker 1: what are we what are we going to say at this point you know i don't know steve i don't know either i never did know like i really don't know why what else can you do besides acquire companies like this company is so good i would not be surprised if they come out and say you know what 2027 100 percent year-over-year increase in revenue because they just got to 157 net dollar retention right and you know what that doesn't include any of these deals that they've done they've now done i think over 800 deals in the ttm so you're talking about so much revenue that they're going to be able to upcharge i mean they could do 115 percent revenue increase next year and i'm not just getting excited like that's probably how the math breaks down when i think about it very quickly
[00:22:10] Speaker 2: well steve at this point they're going to be making it at a minimum a billion dollars a quarter in free cash flow so next quarter is going to be ten and a half billion dollars in the balance sheet the quarter after that it's like at this point you're at a run rate of four billion dollars like you have to find something to invest that money into yeah it just otherwise it's just like lost potential um and and it's going to grow like next year i wouldn't be surprised if they make six and a half seven billion dollars of free cash i'm with you maybe even more i think carp said he was aiming
[00:22:52] Speaker 1: for eight or something like that i don't remember but and then you have them going on cnbc talking about what 10 to 15 billion over the net in uh two years from now
[00:23:09] Speaker 2: so yeah i mean what are you going to do that's literally the amount of cash that they have right now and that's in a single year it took them 20 something years to be able to to get to the point where they can have 10 billion dollars and now they're going to be able to in a couple years be able to to produce that in a single calendar year you have to figure out where to put this capital is it is it prudent to assist these companies i mean they're they're so large on on-prem uh cloud services which is kind of crazy because if you think about it steve like from 2000 to 2020 everybody was about converting into the cloud and getting off print you know and now it seems like okay i get it but now all these these aws's and everything like that you know that's okay to have that but now you're running things to these large language models that are now keeping a repository of your data for 30 days and they can then train your models on your proprietary data it's like i don't know it's it's it's a tough situation i'm not exactly sure how it's going to pan all out but i i think that for palantir i think them being able to not necessarily make large margins off of it but them allowing them to to help set up on-prem solutions would allow them to potentially attract more customers and get more engineering dollars so yes you might have a drag because potentially the the margins on on-prem cloud and everything like that might not be as prudent uh and in profitable but if that unlocks new customers if that unlocks more engineering services and that that unlocks net dollar retention growth in the existing contracts because you're able to like is it almost like a win-win so yes technically maybe free cash flow margins would subside a little bit um because you're gonna gonna have some capex well i guess that's still
[00:25:20] Speaker 1: part of free cash but um i don't know i don't know steve uh listen i i'm with you i think that we're in a situation where palantir the world is theirs we're just living in it there's no telling what carp is going to do except make more money every single thing they do works and you know what the trillion dollar plus defense budget 1.4 trillion dollars next year you have to think when they start working on golden dome that's going to be palantir yeah i think palantir is going to be embedded in so many things and i am just i'm excited for next year they did this i don't know this was a drop the mic moment if there's ever been a drop the mic moment this is it and palantir deserves to go up there is no question about it so outside palantir look there's a lot of great things about palantir we got amazon one of your favorite companies all time highs got past three trillion first time ever matt the quarter on amazon was stellar jassy came out he's a killer all these shook babies crying about free cash flow going negative oh no these companies don't know how to invest they don't know how to allocate capital all the bear case about compute all the bear case about everything shattered hopes and dreams shattered for the bears how do you feel feel vindicated
[00:26:55] Speaker 2: and one on one hand steve i feel extremely validated in my conviction and the fact that i've been holding amazon for a couple years a lot of people gave me crap because it's like amazon hasn't done anything we're now up 66 over five years comparatively to you know i guess the 30 or something like that prior to this recent run-up but um steve i'm also pissed because i'm not done buying i hear you you and i have talked about this at length that eventually amazon will be a 10 trillion dollar company yeah and we know that there's about 10 10 and a half billion shares outstanding um and so that means you're going to be about 900 to or 1100 a share to get to you know a trillion dollar market cap or 10 trillion dollar market cap sorry um you know plus or minus or whatever so about a thousand dollars a share when it gets to and so i wanted to get i wanted to get that thousand share steve i'm not there yet so now i have to pay more because things have gone in the right direction so it's pluses and minuses i feel validated you know i feel good the fact that the the thesis is coming out chris camillo did really well with it i've done really well with it i feel good about it it's a it's a pretty sizable position for me now but it has been for quite some time but damn would i have loved to pick up more 200 bucks i'm with you man
[00:28:28] Speaker 1: so i think that this once again proved out that we are living in a time where ai is the worst it's ever been on a forward basis it's only going to get better dare i say that we're at the beginning of the most important technological revolution we've ever seen this is going to be more important than the cell phone this may be more important than the internet steve i have a question for you so you
[00:28:59] Speaker 2: have really good spreadsheets and i'm anticipating you have this because you had it for gcp i didn't i
[00:29:05] Speaker 1: didn't update amazon jet steve yeah thought you were full-time no i'm a piker you're a piker no i was just
[00:29:15] Speaker 2: kind of curious i mean i'm curious if the s curve for aws looks as brilliant as gcps that's all i care about but people are talking about 40 year over year in in a couple quarters for aws team what do you think do you think that's possible it was 30 something percent you said best of in 18 quarters or something
[00:29:36] Speaker 1: on basis points i think that aws has such crazy potential that this could end up becoming a trillion dollar run rate business in the future oh yeah yeah yeah is what i truly believe i mean and the
[00:29:56] Speaker 2: margins are so great i mean that alone would be 300 400 billion dollars a year in ops cash not including the massive infrastructure the physical infrastructure the the e-commerce business so you think about adding a 20x multiple on the 300 400 billion dollars you're talking about a a six to eight trillion dollar company on its own prior to even talking about the the e-commerce business which will also get to a trillion dollars in revenue probably in the next five six years the whole company itself will get to a trillion in what 18 months i don't know that i mean for 200 billion dollars in a single quarter it's not it's not christmas
[00:30:47] Speaker 1: steve it's not the christmas quarter that's insane christmas quarter it's not q for all the
[00:30:52] Speaker 2: advertising we might hit 250 you think you think you think christmas for q this year we're gonna hit 250 for revenue yeah yeah they just broke 200 billion what did they make for q uh this past quarter this
[00:31:08] Speaker 1: past year um i know it was about 200. well i mean i just had to buy a lot of contracts for uh the
[00:31:17] Speaker 2: yankee game tonight so give me a sec steve listen i'm a degenerate what do you want my token maxing my
[00:31:24] Speaker 1: betting system just told me to bet the yankees so i bet the yankees what do we bet hold on you do that what am i been i'm just saying my betting system told me about the yankees it's the just just the flat well i had a problem i couldn't um i couldn't decide if i wanted to buy prediction market contracts or bet the run line so i just went with prediction market contracts for right now uh well don't piggyback my bets just don't be piggybacking my bets what if they lose
[00:31:59] Speaker 2: then judges hurt well steve i just bought 100 contracts so hopefully they better win for your
[00:32:07] Speaker 1: sake don't be piggybacking i'm piggy i'm piggybacking all right so revenue in june of 25 was 167.7 billion they just went to 200 billion and q4 2025 was 213 billion can they get to 250 yes you want to know why because they went from 167 to 213 from q2 to q4 last year if you don't think that they can go from 200 to 250 this year from q2 to q4 you're crazy well to get to 250 you said it was 213 it's only 17 percent yeah they went from 167 to 213 last year steven this was an amazon drop the mic moment amazon's one of the greatest companies in the market and they showed everybody why they do what they do and why they are amazon okay they came out and said we're amazon hold our beer aws just grew 36.7 percent year over year fastest growth rate in 18 quarters okay fifth straight quarter of acceleration and you don't just fake those numbers and that's what gets me crazy like i've invited ed zitron on you don't want to come on you don't want to talk you guys want to talk they want to sit there and be bears they're probably hibernating right now they don't know what to do because you know what ai is real the ai revolution is not stopping everything we need more chips we need more compute and they're outright dumb period burry don't want to talk zitron don't want to talk none of them backlog for aws is at 496 billion and yes i'm calling everybody out calling every bear out because they are spewing opinions that are not backed up by numbers okay they're talking about what if scenarios i'm talking about what is happening right now 496 billion backlog real number aws three-month revenue 42.2 billion real number grew by 36.7 percent year over year real number fastest growth in 18 quarters real number operating income from aws 16.6 billion 39.4 margin two real numbers demand exceeds supply per jassy even with capex at 220 billion so you tell me matt how is it that these bears want to penalize amazon and companies like amazon if amazon is spending 220 billion to capex and still has demand exceeding supply now
[00:35:07] Speaker 2: i think people are starting to recognize that this is this is a reality they're seeing the continuation and growth right i mean i think they're seeing gcp i think gcp got smoked because they were the first company to kind of come out with with well aside from oracle i guess to to go um free cash flow negative now that i think people are starting to see the results from azure from gcp from aws from everybody else that things are accelerating in an s curve like you you so eloquently showed with your with your gcp graphic that people are starting to recognize is like okay the margins are increasing in most cases maybe not metas but in most cases the margins are increasing the revenues increasing net income growth is going to the right direction so i think people are starting to realize you know that that this is this is a reality it's uh it's it's gonna be fun and i i was kind of hoping that another six months would transpire and maybe would wait until the beginning of next year before people really started to come out of the woodwork but i don't know steve with with with values like this and in the rumor that google is going to increase capex with a three handle next year potentially i'm like sitting here like do they continue to invest through 2028 or is 2028 too soon to take the foot off the gas because everybody everybody was talking about i mean at some point you hit a bottleneck where you literally just can't invest enough and the free cash flow it has to go positive because you're generating so much revenue and so much earnings from from this and it's just like at some point there's a physical one of two things happens it either inflation gets so bad in the space that 300 billion dollars doesn't buy you what 200 or 150 billion dollars did last year because things are just so supply constrained and inflation just goes up into the right or you literally just can't physically build that fast um and then earnings catch up anyway and so that's how free cash flow positive companies get but i don't know i was i was kind of thinking that some of these companies would bottom out in terms of negative free cash flow latter half of this year early next but maybe it it actually goes for the next 12 um four quarters six quarters and maybe it actually has to wait until the middle of 2028 before these companies actually start to uh to come out of free cash flow negativity and they actually uh continue to invest i don't know it just i'm with you steve you say this very eloquently a lot and i agree wholly you know i'm cool with them pausing buybacks if that means they're able to get 30 return on invested capital on what they're putting money into um yeah and i want to need the dividend i'll buy gpix or something yeah so i want to be very clear for
[00:38:20] Speaker 1: everybody okay i am talking very condescending on purpose to the bears not to matt to the bears to the shook baby bears say that three times fast shook baby bears i am so condescending to them that i wanted to sting in their hearts okay i want to sting in their hearts and the market can go down 20 percent we could go into a bear market tomorrow i would say the same damn thing you guys know you guys have followed me for a long time i've been saying this when everybody is scared and everybody is going crazy oh my god the market's going down oh my god free cash flow narratives what have i been saying who gives a flying bleep damn i thought he was gonna say it
[00:39:16] Speaker 2: family show family family show people are listening in the car
[00:39:20] Speaker 1: gives a flying beep about free cash flow in the short term i am a long-term investor okay i'm looking at amazon 10 years out do i care if they go negative for two years no let them build do you think that there's any world where walmart can catch up to amazon on delivery no walmart doesn't have that type of capital to build a logistical network like amazon walmart's not going to get me my packages in six hours that's not happening oh you think that any other companies can really mess with these this isn't just compute you know the neoclouds are out there for a reason this isn't just compute when you look at bedrock and you actually look at the hosting services there's a big difference between raw compute and then actually services from gcp azure or aws you can't compete with those three you just can't compete with them
[00:40:31] Speaker 2: steve silly question no such thing you're you're an amazon orderer right you use amazon quite frequently
[00:40:38] Speaker 1: some would say that uh it is at least 80 percent of the packages i see in my building there you go so
[00:40:48] Speaker 2: how i i've only really noticed this in the past maybe four to six months have you seen the deliver in an hour for an extra 10 bucks or something like that sort of stuff when you're ordering or do you not order that much um i
[00:41:07] Speaker 1: personally have not seen that but i wouldn't be surprised okay i'm just kind of curious like i
[00:41:12] Speaker 2: wonder i've never looked i've never looked i'm just kind of curious like how much they're trying to compete with the ubers and the door dashes of the world because like if you think about it some people would just doordash from grocery stores or whatever and that was because you know that would be delivered you know that day by somebody within 30 to 40 minutes and now you can potentially do it off of amazon you know for certain items right not everything is going to be within an hour but um anyway i was just kind of curious if that alone is driving some some good e-commerce revenue as well but a little bit in an hour for a year so okay i'm maybe i'm just uh
[00:41:56] Speaker 1: find i mean if we look at this is going to be a wild chart oh my god if we look at these three companies combined microsoft alphabet and amazon how crazy is the cash flow on a ttm basis the combination of these companies year over year matt has gone from 391 billion in cash from operations to 530 billion on a year basis and growing and some would say growing grew 35.6 some would say
[00:42:40] Speaker 2: some would say growing don't be a shook baby steve we got tj in the house though what's up tj where's tj oh boy tj's here the wheel deal tj when are you coming to houston man we need to get dinner the real wheel deal
[00:42:58] Speaker 1: that's insane though guys it's not cocky it's called these are the actual numbers there's there's a big difference between doing your research and knowing the numbers stone cold and understanding investing concepts and having a 10-year time horizon
[00:43:16] Speaker 2: there's a big difference the look the it's insane you're so let's put this in perspective for people okay yeah steve you just talked about amazon going across three trillion right 160 billion right and ops cash yeah that's less than a 20x right and growing and growing and same thing with microsoft and google like i just don't understand these companies are insane i remember us talking about 120 billion like it was insane and now we're talking about getting to 200 like in three years time we're going to be talking maybe getting to 300 billion a piece it's insane
[00:43:59] Speaker 1: this is absolutely insane yeah and if we layer in capex okay if we layer in capex and we add in microsoft and google again okay and we stack it to make it look all pretty do i don't don't with your fancy graphics don't start with me what do you mean with my fancy graphics i get it you're better it's not listen it tells a story matt it tells a story story time with steve it's story time and the story time is operating cash flow has grown by 139 billion capex has grown by 182 billion you have to spend money to make money if you're not reinvesting in your business you are not going to grow and you know what when you invest capex it is not one for one and it is not immediate it's lagging but the growth is exponential you're telling me that these three companies that just spent 421 billion dollars on capex in the past three or that past year on a ttm basis you're telling companies can really compete with them like i'm sorry they may know something about something and at last time i checked there's still 111 billion dollars spread of free cash flow on a ttm basis with these companies now is it going to go negative maybe microsoft isn't amazon is who knows about google google probably will they'll probably spend 300 plus next year but the reality is eventually the capex will deplete eventually will go into maintenance mode and ops cash is going to go up into the right and everybody's going to look back on these times of the shook baby complex and be like they were so stupid why did we even think about
[00:45:55] Speaker 2: listening to them steve you know what i'm down on what matt those goddamn yankee contracts you told me to buy okay they're already down to zero okay listen what's going on listen i told you not to piggyback on my bets
[00:46:12] Speaker 1: are they really losing already yeah no they're not don't mess on my two zero what the hell is going on schlittler's pitching god damn it steve the hell's going on here did he not sleep last night it's all right matt it's the first inning it's baseball baby benny rice and spencer jones are playing it's all right it's all right i don't know what's going on here it's all right listen this is why you don't piggyback on my bets
[00:46:51] Speaker 2: still got eight and a half innings of baseball left people are asking if this is live this is live this is a lot welcome to the show this is live damn it steve what average i'm 80 you know 100 bucks now i got 80 bucks if i sold these i didn't tell you to bet you know what i'm really upset about steve oh i was i was on a um a good old date the other night yeah and um i normally carry cash with me to pay valets and you should see the valet is when i show up state they get fired up um so i'm like all right like cool i reach into my pocket i guess somehow at some point the cash came out of the pocket somewhere i don't know where i had like 50 bucks 50 bucks it's somewhere so i either lost it on the street or it's in my house somewhere i lost it i'm pissed i had to borrow from my date i felt like a schmuck i had to to to pay her apple payer after the date and i gave her interest i was like you know she gave we we went to one place she gave me three bucks we went to a different place it was a nicer place i paid the valet five bucks for the tip and uh i was like here's nine dollars i gave her nine dollars back because i felt bad can i can i
[00:48:19] Speaker 1: interest can i ask you something what okay this is why like first off we wearing jeans or regular pants right now no when you were on the date were you wearing jeans or regular pants
[00:48:35] Speaker 2: i was wearing like some like chinos okay so they probably didn't have tight pockets
[00:48:43] Speaker 1: and you know what this is why you need a wad in your pocket because they'll feel it if you lose it right you call me poor steve no that's not what i'm saying i'm just saying like you know if you have a 50 on you i get you if even if you don't want to carry a lot of money on you have all fives that way you can feel
[00:49:06] Speaker 2: it in your pocket no i mean i always carry like it wasn't and it wasn't it wasn't a 50 bill but no
[00:49:14] Speaker 1: but i'm just saying like i don't know like one or two bills in your pocket you'll never know if that's not there until you put your hand in your pocket or better yet put it in your damn wallet matt oh i found 20 bucks this isn't it maybe put it in your wallet so you don't lose it yeah i'm gonna use this
[00:49:35] Speaker 2: i don't carry around a lot of cash i literally cared for that reason so i was pretty upset that i lost it do i need to buy you a wallet uh don't don't well first you're token maxing you're trying to show me
[00:49:54] Speaker 1: your 1.6 billion tokens the chat is telling me to buy you a wallet oh desi just bought you a wallet
[00:50:03] Speaker 2: there you go there you go i can finally afford a wall thank you desi miami miami mommy mommy miami you better go get a wallet now matt i i have to show it to her when we have the uh the meetup in my miami made up steve matt are we uh yeah get a ridge wallet sponsorship steve
[00:50:30] Speaker 1: is this i have heard ridge makes a really good wallet
[00:50:37] Speaker 2: that's what i've heard does desi miami have a suggestion on what kind of wallet some would say ridge makes a good wallet wait the miami meetup is in june now i thought it would
[00:50:49] Speaker 1: wait i don't know i told him that you know miami should be in the winter time but you know what do i know is it actually in june it could be like who the hell wants to be in new york in january it's
[00:51:02] Speaker 2: freezing up there yeah but they see miami has all my valet cash i should have taken her on the date there you go you hope it's in june i hope not although i am smaller than i was i was sweating up a storm last time and steve will come this time to miami absolutely you didn't come last time because you
[00:51:28] Speaker 1: said something about hating me or i mean absolutely miami this year you didn't have a passport you couldn't leave the state i mean listen i i can get around what is that uh what do you mean by that i mean i can get on a plane i got a real id now you didn't have one before no jesus christ i had an expired passport and no real id up until like six months ago like i legitimately got a real id so i could go to california

[00:52:10] Speaker 1: and i mean you can i'm playing on flying in right into the middle of the city that little small
[00:52:14] Speaker 2: airport and walking to the hotel a little small airport what do you i don't know tevis was telling
[00:52:20] Speaker 1: me about some airport that's like in the middle of the city that you can walk from
[00:52:25] Speaker 2: i don't know what do i know he didn't tell me that i probably don't i don't know we go for a good italian when you go oh this oh i guarantee miami's got great italian
[00:52:37] Speaker 1: i mean they got carbones down there don't threaten me with a good time i'm all about yeah billy bishop that's what he was saying billy bishop airport what you need to fly into yeah they're right that's exactly what he told me billy bishop
[00:52:54] Speaker 2: oh if we go to a latin place i'll practice my spanish the the latina mommies go pretty wild when you got some wero uh lindos talking uh talking spanish
[00:53:08] Speaker 1: desi have you been to carbones down there and if so is it good i mean i can't see it being bad it's my one of my favorite restaurants oh my god don't please don't hit on people only i can hand on
[00:53:24] Speaker 2: hit on people just kidding you guys can hit on whoever you want it's free for all it's pretty much all i do when i get in steve's streams i just hit on people um oh okay she said yes so i guess
[00:53:41] Speaker 1: we're gonna have to try to go to carbones i will uh i'll take care of that the date was great she's a good girl um of course yeah i mean the ambient is so superficial instagram crap yeah and i bet everybody's taking pictures of the spicy rig for for which you gotta get because it's actually really good but it's i don't know the the veal palm there oh my god is to die for i've never had veal like that before in my
[00:54:12] Speaker 2: life i'm gonna run a sucker for a good veal palm oh it's so good so good and then how about meta matt
[00:54:21] Speaker 1: how about meta coming back with a vengeance return to the zuck everybody wants to count zuck out nobody wanted to listen to steve nobody wanted to listen to the 2.1 billion illegal fees and then the severance head count that they had to incur and that's why they missed earnings but hey they're back to 600. i don't know why they're not 700 steve that's all i know i i think meta is gonna i think
[00:54:47] Speaker 2: everybody's wrong on meta meta down still 22 over the last year joe's stone crabs isn't that the place
[00:54:55] Speaker 1: with the incredible key lime pie don't threaten me with the key lime pie no i'm not kidding you uh jason am i wrong isn't joe's the place of the key lime
[00:55:08] Speaker 2: what you make reservations they still make you wait 60 minutes yeah it's carbone i'll stab them please step me actually it's carbone i don't know steve are we serious question steve and i gotta go because i'm a fatty and i need to go to the gym um oh i didn't realize reddit came back with a vengeance today reddit did a little well today i sold a put on friday when it dropped 20 percent and then michelle's out here saying she was
[00:55:47] Speaker 1: disappointed by the lasagna in italy i mean that's crazy talk i mean they even have a lasagna in italy is that an american thing i mean i i don't know i i gotta think it would be pretty good in italy but
[00:56:08] Speaker 2: i don't know i've never seen like people instagramming lasagna when they're in italy yeah i try not to
[00:56:13] Speaker 1: so much food stuff comes into my instagram it's actually kind of crazy
[00:56:20] Speaker 2: do you think they have rainbow cookies in italy they better is spa a bargain
[00:56:30] Speaker 1: did spotify take a dump steve i have no idea i don't like the business that much who spots down 26 percent i'm just i'm not a spotify worries me because why would you use spotify for music or for podcasts just use youtube like a youtube premium membership you get so much you get all the music you want and here's the thing that i don't understand with people right you can legitimately play all the music you want from youtube premium just don't watch the music videos just hook it up to the car and let it play like why would you need spotify in fact i'm going to put a poll out do you have a spotify membership yes or no i want to know i do do you really yeah all right i'm not i'm not cool in your eyes anymore steve do you have a spotify membership here by the way lioness peremont i got beef with you don't show me the beginning and then go through how we got to the beginning and then just end the episode i should have never watched it i i knew it was gonna happen i set myself up for it it was incredible lioness is the best show on tv right now it's back paramont just they they are crushing it with content land man lioness marshall's dudden ranch they are crushing it lioness what's linus you gotta tell me oh my god lion's best show on tv right now matt it just started season three you should you should go through season one and two it's incredible where have i been i talked about this you just don't you don't you don't tell me seriously
[00:58:24] Speaker 2: nobody listens to steve nobody listens to me is that what i'm doing tonight i'm gonna get some
[00:58:30] Speaker 1: chicken after the gym and and watch some lioness i may re-watch season one that's how good it is what what is it oh my god it's just it's lioness that doesn't help don't worry about it steven give me something i'm not giving you anything it's on paramount plus just go watch it pp paramount plus amazing i actually made two movie references on basis points what the one yesterday yeah we we may have had a guest and i may have made a reference to the bodhisattva when's that out you know i don't know actually did it come out tonight did we put out today i'm not sure hold on let me check we may not have because it was uh volunteer earnings oh this is all these people making conspiracy theories and making videos about lionesses and
[00:59:29] Speaker 2: one steve i gotta prioritize here dun ranch or lioness lioness okay and i'm the biggest yellowstone
[00:59:40] Speaker 1: fan but if i gotta choose between the two lioness oh yeah i'm a zoe saw down the fan steve you know
[00:59:47] Speaker 2: what i also haven't finished what you might you might get upset okay you might get upset don't do it i never finished season three or four west world of west world on hbo yeah i don't think you're missing much okay i i'm one of those i thought you were saying west world like you never saw the first
[01:00:11] Speaker 1: season i was about to like no no no no no i'm one of those people that think season one was arguably one of the best first seasons out of any tv show and every season got worse from it
[01:00:22] Speaker 2: yes agreed okay and you don't need to watch three or four okay season two was i don't even think i finished season two season two was good but it wasn't season one i'm gonna rewatch season one again it's right i remember like that i very few times have i ever watched something and it absolutely blew my mind
[01:00:44] Speaker 1: that was one of them you know what's a show i want to go back and re-watch silicon valley don't do that to me you didn't even watch you didn't watch it tell me you tell me you watched it please steven who do you think i am as somebody who looks like they're trying to figure out what the hell silicon valley was because it seems like you didn't watch it excuse me sir i'm gonna take this disrespect did you watch it yes or no yes thank god okay all right did you watch ballers dude don't start i've seen bowlers like five times every episode yeah i love ballers ballers a good time you know why because the episodes are 28 minutes it's like entourage it's perfect it's like entourage but you know what ballers it's so much fun the rocks playing a different character the guy who plays um anderson's awesome i love joe it's just it's so good and you can watch
[01:01:51] Speaker 2: three episodes and just it's funny yeah tj miller i'm really upset incredible keep i'm sad they didn't
[01:01:59] Speaker 1: keep it going you know i wasn't really feeling the whole season with russell brand and the whole export stuff i think it kind of went a little astray i really thought season one and two were incredible and it picked back up in the last season but i i wasn't really that big of a fan of that season with
[01:02:17] Speaker 2: the uh export stuff yeah i don't know steve so i mean what where do you think we go from here steve i heard what you said earlier about 8k and to the right oil's coming back down i mean you have so many catalysts like 8k is in sight right i mean listen i'm still a liar steve you always have been i'm still a liar man always have been i mean oil where are we at with the oil steve where are we at um are we still under are we still under 80 uh for west texas yeah we are 79.85 i think that's a good price if it stays here i mean yeah but i mean you know i was listening to tom lee earlier and i have to say steve he is right housing is coming down still i'm seeing well i'll say a lot of houses are getting cut 15 to 25. there's other houses i've looked at that are more but i mean that's a couple percentage points every time they cut it you know um i'm looking at appraisals appraisals are down across the board so i think people are having to cut to get people to move and i don't think people are moving right now because of the mortgage rates so i think we're kind of stuck in this quagmire and for those of you don't know what a quagmire is it's a boggy situation um that you're kind of in this place where people don't want to move because mortgage rates and then in order to get it there you know you need to you need to cut the cost of the houses to get people to try to move but still people aren't moving so you're kind of stuck in this reverse loop and then you know i don't know maybe towards the end of the year we still potentially have the opportunity for a rate cut but i just think that right now it's just not in the cards with inflation where it's at and with war saying two percent means two percent i mean it just doesn't seem like we're we're headed towards a cut anytime soon so i'm giving up on the idea we're getting a rate cut this
[01:04:34] Speaker 1: year i'm not officially there but i'm gonna have to officially get there very soon i mean at one
[01:04:40] Speaker 2: point you were thinking too are you just saying like zero to one now
[01:04:46] Speaker 1: i'm saying i'm saying that i don't think we're i think unless oil gets back to 60 we're not getting
[01:04:53] Speaker 2: a rate cut yeah i'm fine with it here i mean i mean i would love to be greedy refinance a lot of my debt but part of me wants it to kind of stay here so i can buy a nice house and then once i buy the house
[01:05:10] Speaker 1: then they can cut it and then i can refinance yeah i mean the reality of the situation is you can always refund right trying to be like you steve i mean you should not try to be like me you should try to be
[01:05:27] Speaker 2: better matt i keep telling you that i need to make more money steve i need a ferrari and a new house
[01:05:34] Speaker 1: why do you need a ferrari because because why
[01:05:43] Speaker 2: need is a strong word yes it is want i want okay thank you
[01:05:53] Speaker 1: need is a very strong word sir i do my mama i mean steve you can be my sugar daddy it doesn't look like you need one with that uh folex on yeah well it's fake so i mean you know the folex the kick car you know yeah the kick car you know
[01:06:21] Speaker 2: i want to be magnum pi oh steve i did see a 355 f 355 the other day okay they're nice i'm with you i saw one pull in i'm like damn dude i would even take a 360. 360s are sick too and i think 360s have hit the bottom of their depreciation curve because like yeah anyway
[01:06:50] Speaker 1: well listen it is what it is why don't you just buy race as a stack is it down we should have bought it from the beginning man we did we should have wasn't it 50 bucks something like that so where are we going for here you think uh marco is high that we get to 8 000 at i think we get there
[01:07:15] Speaker 2: i think if everything plays ball oh the four five eight's beautiful i mean they've been skyrocketing in price though um i think so steve i mean i think that people are starting to really come around they're recognizing that this is a real thing it's not just people um not just people being shook babies anymore i think we're finally getting some some realism in the market
[01:07:45] Speaker 1: i gotta cut you off oh please please don't do this i do not know anything about anything please do not do this thank you i appreciate the uh super chat but in all seriousness please do not do this i don't know what's gonna happen but i'm glad it worked out for you hey i gambled today i bought back my cover calls
[01:08:12] Speaker 2: there you go i'll rewrite them tomorrow hopefully make another couple hundred bucks listen it's all good baby it's all good so i still know what i'm gonna write them at because now i'm afraid this thing's gonna rock it to 160 170 easily
[01:08:31] Speaker 1: what'd you say steve sorry i got you off i think we get there i think we get to 8 000. i really do
[01:08:43] Speaker 2: with earnings like that i just don't understand how you don't i'm with you steve said i'm not miss cleo i am not miss cleo call now for you what is it i don't know tarot card reading i don't remember what it is
[01:09:13] Speaker 1: i don't know all i know is alex carp once again big tech saved the market and alex carp just said hold my beer you know 85 percent of the s p 500 companies beat earnings
[01:09:29] Speaker 2: i did see that and i heard i i think you said that earlier and it's like they were quoting on cnbc too and i think that palantir is likely a predictor for what nvidia is also going to see which is higher revenue growth than expected um i think things are all just pointing in the right direction
[01:09:52] Speaker 1: yeah i'm with you man i'm excited i think there's a lot of good things coming i think there's a lot of good things in the market and this was such a good quarter i just don't know how anybody could be bearish on where they go from
[01:10:16] Speaker 2: here silly question steve do you think it was this i i know so many people unfortunately not so many people but over the past two weeks i know some people that really got caught with their pants down do you think that that was intentional and now that some of them got flushed out the the market now is uh rushing higher do i think it was intentional
[01:10:43] Speaker 1: absolutely i think people i think companies and people okay do not have the best intentions out there and this is a player versus player world this is shark versus shark okay people make false narratives all the time to make you believe something then take advantage of you now if you're on leverage and you don't have the cash to back it up this is what happens end of story it's called f around and find out if you don't have the capital to stay solvent the sharks will get you leopold would have been fine if he didn't go on leverage we've been fine because you know what none of this would have happened you want a guy's shares called away he would have had wouldn't add this type of downward pressure because you know what he was forced to sell into bad beats and bad beats and then other people were forced to sell if you're not using leverage this wouldn't happen
[01:11:48] Speaker 2: was it you that was talking about larry ellison and um potentially because he's trying to use some of his oracle as collateral was that you i don't believe so okay i heard some a theory that somebody was thinking that they're trying to drive down the price of oracle so that way they can potentially but i don't know if ellison's on that much leverage i don't know i'm pretty sure they have larry ellison
[01:12:15] Speaker 1: needed to raise money i'm pretty sure he could raise money yeah he's got elon on his side he's got we are pulled and larry ellison two completely different people two completely different stores
[01:12:26] Speaker 2: but i was just using an example but like i know a lot of people that you know or trust me i i talk about this too right utilizing in and borrowing from your your principal accounts it's like i'm telling you guys like don't get too crazy because you know when you're borrowing against yourself when you have these drawdowns of 80 percent in certain positions etc the liquidity draws up and the next thing you know you have to liquidate just to make sure that you're able to continue stuff unfortunately i know some people that um were leveraging some of their like rocket lab for example to buy a home and they had to sell on this drawdown to guarantee that they had the liquidity to be able to and now rocket labs like they get a rocket higher from here i'm i'm fairly confident you know i don't think it's going back to 150 tomorrow but to sell it at 59 or 60 bucks to be able to guarantee that you can still buy that house because you're borrowing too much it's a shame and i i know it happened to a lot more people than i would like to admit um so fingers crossed that you guys aren't necessarily used you know i think a lot of times i'm saying this because i i see a lot of times people like oh but that's not going to happen to me and you know sometimes you see it happen to other people and if i could just prevent one or two of you watching you know because steve would pull in a couple thousand i'll pull in maybe a thousand people watching this uniquely like out of that five or six k you know i just hope that one of you recognizes is like you know borrowing up to forty percent of your portfolio is a risk and normally it doesn't end good and normally yeah you end up when you need the money it just doesn't
[01:14:27] Speaker 1: just doesn't work out for you normally it doesn't end good and it becomes very dangerous and everybody thinks that they're super genius when things go up but it's when things go down that you really find out what you're made of can you withstand volatility can you withstand seeing a significantly lower number in your account and that starts to mess with people's head and if you're on leverage you start not being able to sleep you try to figure out how to come up with money it's not worth it
[01:15:03] Speaker 2: yeah and so yeah it's different as well like if it's something if you're close to retirement right like you know that as well like people will probably make fun of me because i'm down i was down at one point over two million dollars but it's like i have time to kind of play this out well there's also a
[01:15:23] Speaker 1: difference it's money that you don't need right now yeah there's a big difference like you're this is not your retirement account like this is money on the side that you have made it's not you were not down money that you need to live yeah there's a big difference you know there's people out there that are investing money that they can't afford to lose and they're going to three four x leverage because they're trying to make a little bit of extra side money that's not how you make money it's just not i'm sorry like that can only lead to bad things you start watching it all day at work you start messing stuff up it's not worth it losing sleep it's not fun at the end of the day nobody knows what's going to happen with the market nobody not me not you not anybody else and the market can be irrational for longer than most people can stay solvent that's the reality what are we buying steve i bought more core weave today
