an action figure yeah general generally I mean yeah and then sometimes [00:00:48] Speaker 3: you've made it for years and never get an action figure right so we're gonna have slides or images that you'll see on the screen if you're listening to this non-visually listen go go to the other method so you could see because this is a visual episode you will have to watch this yes you need to watch nuclear device yeah it's definitely getting recalled this is early on [00:01:51] Speaker 3: I mean the hair and the head he's got a long face right kind of looks more like Forrest Gump it looks like a small soldiers figure it's I'm just trying to compare the face yeah it's it's pre-technology yeah it's they they could go to space but they couldn't do his face [00:02:13] Speaker 2: and it looks like five points of articulation well guys it looks like we're back to sculpting cars [00:02:18] Speaker 3: well he does bend at the elbows that's about it that's true yeah I don't even know if he's got they you know they're they provide they set the clients up the client's just get off the plane they show up and their table set up uh and then there's some that they got to bring their own stuff and they they're walking their luggage and the corners of the photos are all dinged and bent and they're really a bad selection and yeah uh and she all her pictures were grainy or black and white and I was like what it's not a black and white movie like I don't even understand why you did black and white now some lobby cards or stills that they send to the press or media would have been black and white so I don't know if she was just copying those yeah some media kit stuff maybe black and white but then there was nothing I wanted there was nothing good so I didn't get her autograph there was no good photos to choose speaking of not good photos [00:05:49] Speaker 2: well that's why they gave this figure that weird helmet and a cross cover up the mistake that they made [00:05:55] Speaker 3: and they got this yeah like a Robin Hood crossbow yeah yeah because it's the future of law enforcement give her a crossbow it kind of looks like Hillary yeah oh it could and I forgot in that line all Alec Baldwin in Beetlejuice Kenner again Kenner it's fun mm-hmm that is that is nothing like Alec Baldwin no no I like that the glasses are very obviously an afterthought and they're like just paint Speaker 3: yeah because the other one looks like Vans doesn't Alec Baldwin have like a pronounced jaw and that's like more of like a pull like a it's less it's a screech man it's a screech in the hot out with like a one-minute movie or something yeah he does he has to put out something to retain it sitting in a theater wearing a yellow jacket yeah it's horrible yeah yeah I think it's hilarious don't know who that even looks like yeah they probably couldn't get the rights that's a boy band figure yeah that's another that's another thing they could we could be trashing uh a likeness and they didn't have the likeness right so they just did whatever yeah uh that's their error that's [00:10:47] Speaker 2: they should have negotiated that right that's so Grapple Gear Nick that's who that is know that he was mainstream nothing looks like anything related to the movie that outfit is horrible yeah yeah there's like a mask helmet he has looks like a radioactive trooper but who did this line uh yeah he's armed with [00:13:29] Speaker 3: all those toxic crusaders they they didn't have any more money to paint the access of the backpack or yeah the big uh game three giant oh he's got this yeah so this is the Kenner Rufus figure from the Bill and Ted's excellent adventure line Rufus and I think that's a good likeness yeah of uh right it's the comedian what's his name uh George [00:14:50] Speaker 2: Carlin yeah it's easy to nail that because the glasses block the yeah you give him like the goatee [00:14:55] Speaker 3: and uh it's easy yeah yeah it's good they kind of did his hairline right gave them some wrinkles in forehead Rufus yeah yeah dry fist Rufus yeah Rufus oh yeah he plays music where did he play the music [00:15:10] Speaker 2: in his back they they all came with musical instruments because you know Bill and Ted no I know I just wild stallions I never had the figures that it was not in the movie at all yeah it's this [00:15:21] Speaker 3: to get kids to go see the movie I think okay so this is the the Jim Carrey mask figure somebody didn't have the likeness is this the is this a head flippers oh yeah so then so this is like a power ranger head flipper so you get the green head or the Jim Carrey head yeah I would say the [00:15:39] Speaker 2: green head looks more like it than the regular yeah yeah the dog looks more like it yeah Stanley Ipka's head yeah yeah yeah that's that's that's bad man kind of looks like Tony Danza didn't they [00:15:53] Speaker 3: reuse this flip head too I keep thinking face from 18 but if the hair was a different color yeah it's like a you know good looking like uh it's just the hair's the wrong color or like a young Scott Baio [00:16:07] Speaker 2: it definitely looks like I don't know it definitely figure John Connor with motorcycle I think that's the only way you got it right yeah yeah yeah so he came with the motorcycle yeah it's not horrendous it's not easy money I know that it's not so they think because we're looking at it from a low angle yeah like if we looked at it on we wouldn't see the uh but I I don't even recall figures giving you holes nostrils yeah right yeah a lot of times it's really it's just right right so they actually I made a divot yeah he's got holes [00:18:14] Speaker 2: in his nose there is no fate but what we make for ourselves you got it that's for sure free father yeah you're gonna be in Waterworld well see they [00:18:52] Speaker 3: didn't really make an attempt to give him the waviness to the hair yeah his luxurious hair looks like it could have been a that's Ricardo Monteblan I like that the water pump accessory is reused from Batman uh the Dark Knight collection there's like the Arctic Batman and then I think they they used it again for nine other but he I was like oh he's in that uh you're remembering so much about this movie yeah well the mirror space station sends this signal down to the ship and then it info it affects all the software and then they wants to kill all the humans and then all the machines upgrade themselves to make more machines and so yeah human hybrids and right right using flesh and well booger monster robot right accessories they gave him they gave him nothing it's because they put all the money into his outfit look at all these are you sure are you sure you gotta remember all those colors i forget what it is figure i like the figure i think because this is earlier than most toys we're looking at because i think a lot of what we've seen was 90s [00:28:00] Speaker 2: yeah uh it's not bad by today's head big or small [00:28:30] Speaker 2: oh yeah the hat's definitely i don't know i wish they could it's just like they just didn't do it like [00:28:36] Speaker 3: then why couldn't you got indy where where the hat comes off it was probably something like kenner's [00:28:42] Speaker 2: like hey uh harrison we want to sculpt some figures what do you mean you want to sculpt yeah what do you mean i gotta take off my hat okay 50 bucks and kenner's like nope yeah yeah no i think because you can't [00:28:59] Speaker 3: make the material the head would have to be concave in yeah comedy so i don't think it works it's almost like i think if they have had heads now don't they give you a separate head yeah yeah and that that's probably the best because otherwise it just fix you you can't get that clothy uh i mean not a good [00:29:17] Speaker 2: likeness but a cool figure no it's yeah it's a cool figure and especially for three three quarter yeah it can only do so much really and he has his thumb well now i mean if you look at the vintage [00:29:27] Speaker 3: collection or the star wars figures that they're amazing that are coming in they're so good yeah yeah they're amazing and you know and the amount of accessories and you're like you still ain't [00:29:35] Speaker 2: collecting them though but they're using like computers and oh yeah i mean this is a snow trooper [00:29:42] Speaker 3: that just came in i was like that's like the best one ever and then they got added driver and i was like and i was like imagine if they just did that retro card for marvel and did the three and three quarter marvel again how good they could do it oh yeah and i think there's a market for that but you know what what do i know um all right so now we're at the brandon fraser toy island mummy figures oh he [00:30:06] Speaker 2: looks shocked he is a figure so they got the hair right stuff yeah i'm sure he would i was this is the [00:30:15] Speaker 3: first mummy right yeah yeah yeah so he wasn't anybody yet they're about to start filming for so he probably would have approved his likeness yeah i mean toy island there you go that's that explain toy island was like probably a top supplier to kb yeah to reach that certain price point they definitely books sculpted [00:30:37] Speaker 2: on the lower end like not horrible but like but it's not it's bare minimum it's its own scale in a way uh [00:30:46] Speaker 3: decent amount of accessories they had some decent they ran out of play sets yeah yeah the play sets were pretty cool because for the grand opening i think we had practically had an entire run in the glass case [00:30:59] Speaker 2: i knew who got them yeah yeah right yeah i guess they ran out of blue paint though because they didn't get [00:31:04] Speaker 3: the scarf right at all yeah well that's another color to add see yeah yeah that's a variant sir could have been that three painted three cents per unit they just saved paint it like his pants nobody
