floor everybody [00:00:48] Speaker 2: we compiled the dinosaur walk the dinosaur walk walk the i guess because then you're naming the dance in the song i walk the dinosaur so you just how do you so it's a song about the dance that [00:01:02] Speaker 1: you're doing during the song everybody walked the dinosaur open the floor get on the door like that open the door get on the floor i mean either way that's i like those lyrics yeah yeah [00:01:15] Speaker 2: open the floor open the floor on the door it makes it sound much more effective well that's if you're [00:01:20] Speaker 1: dancing on the ceiling yeah oh that is a feeling for sure all right so fair point just as a preface there will be no jurassic park none no so this is going to be more extreme dinosaurs that's right i don't know if there's an extreme dinosaur in here it could be but it's it's [00:01:40] Speaker 2: not your run of the mill it's the jurassic park is it's not your grandpa's down it's it's cool so we're [00:01:45] Speaker 1: not gonna make fun of it yeah we're not i don't know we might yeah all right sure we can find something see let's see what we got here but you know all right let's let's let let roll the dino footage all right so we're looking at monster in my pocket dinosaurs secret skeleton dinosaurs and [00:02:06] Speaker 2: regular dinosaurs so i don't do you do do you know about these i know we have like a little bit of that [00:02:12] Speaker 1: stuff not so the secret skeleton one is if you get them wet they show their skeleton hmm is it hot water or something like that were those released in the u.s because this is a foreign ad or is it not [00:02:27] Speaker 2: what does it say up top uh die secret skeleton sin die so well i can't read that yeah but that's cool [00:02:36] Speaker 1: that's very cool yeah these would yeah i've these would sell well but i mean monster in my pocket i think you guys might know it better than clearly better than me just because like i got the monster [00:02:47] Speaker 2: mountain thing right right right we we sorted later ones and i think we were trying to build sets there was yeah there was some of the dinosaurs in there and some of the so and then because the ones [00:02:59] Speaker 1: that have multi-color kind of look cooler than just your straight well some of the ones in that main [00:03:03] Speaker 3: package two-tone yeah the one with the fin i guess yeah yeah it's a woolly mammoth get the tusks painted brown i know i've seen that one purple looking t-rex like oh yeah a couple times yeah that's godzilla [00:03:19] Speaker 1: sure yeah no these are cool i've never we've never i mean we rarely see any of this stuff packaged no [00:03:29] Speaker 2: even muscles you never see packaged no no we've we've had we've had one we had this monster in my pocket box that was open oh yeah oh yeah i haven't done anything with it yet and then the mountain and then the what the the it was just a bubble right oh right the like the cellophane yeah that [00:03:49] Speaker 1: was the big well it's probably a big that box probably bigger than it oh yeah it was like a tray of [00:03:54] Speaker 2: it yeah yeah the multicolored ones yeah right right and it and it but it didn't have the card back which [00:04:00] Speaker 1: i forget oh right i think slides slides in yeah yeah did we sell that no did i take it home probably i don't remember now um yeah i don't think if we did if i took it home i'll bring it back we'll sell that bring it to the show i mean i don't know did you did you end up they weren't no because it came in and then i was like man that's kind of cool but but i didn't think it was i mean it might have been a hundred bucks yeah it wasn't like you know wow like you never see these i you know i like the secret skeleton ones [00:04:43] Speaker 2: secret skeleton oh yeah secrets oh my god this is so good ever it's popular every time this is every [00:04:54] Speaker 3: time i see this that dumb looking dinosaur he's throwing up gang signs so doing a crip walk if only he [00:05:02] Speaker 1: looks like he did on the box oh yeah because that that's awesome that's menacing this picture at the [00:05:07] Speaker 2: corner he looks like he's the kid dinosaur he's like mommy could have pop-tarts but the funny thing [00:05:14] Speaker 1: is see the explosions happening and then they're all gonna die yeah it's it's all over big lava and they're all you know might as well done yeah let's kill this dinosaur before we die and then look [00:05:26] Speaker 3: at the package art the figures don't match the actual figures and and this is the desert fox vehicle reused right yeah it's a different gun yeah it's got like a flak viper backpack [00:05:39] Speaker 1: that shoots the hooks so we talked about this that's like a makeup of the uh because i have the imperial version of that oh yeah the i remember wayne even took a picture of whether he put it in [00:05:51] Speaker 3: the book or not well it's like shrunk down yeah from yeah the imperial oh yeah okay they just like [00:05:57] Speaker 1: ripped it off and even colored it the same yeah they didn't get the arms right but i wonder how well i guess because isn't there's dying i was gonna say how did the dinosaurs work their way into the joe universe but in the cartoon well there was dinosaurs in the transformer episode right yeah yeah yeah yeah it wasn't a joe episode it was transformer one uh i can't remember but yeah so that you know cobra probably made it or something and one of his dr mindbender all-terrain dinosaur [00:06:24] Speaker 2: reconnaissance vehicles yeah it's not saying why there's maybe there's why they're not even in the not even in the file cards that's insane why they're fighting dinosaurs okay because why not no i obviously it's cool i just spent like did they even bother to explain it like just i love dinosaurs came from a portal from the past that painting is so cool they should have put a cobra logo on the [00:06:49] Speaker 1: chest of the dinosaur because he's bad invasor invasor invasor guys could i join your cobra team [00:06:59] Speaker 3: yeah no that's awesome i mean i could have put some like rockets on them so this is like [00:07:03] Speaker 1: this is like i think a sealed contents open box is like a grand yeah yeah it's yeah they're up there now yeah yeah before no one wanted it well so there was a time and i probably said this already there was a time where i was fascinated with this and i just kept buying them when they were in the two to three hundred dollar range yeah uh and then i ended up with like six seven eight of them and then i think i got two left actually we're gonna have one for the booth yeah there's one back first you got a dinosaur movie kenner [00:08:08] Speaker 2: they're like getting getting the phone call like guys coming down the pipeline and the guy at [00:08:13] Speaker 1: ambulance said they're doing dyno stuff we've got to do dyno stuff you get that intern guy working there and he sells the information to the other guy that's bro yeah to put out dinosaurs anywhere anywhere and then when steven spielberg does the special edition and then all low lights and them are just holding walkie-talkies instead while they're hunting the dinosaur yeah [00:08:36] Speaker 3: they did digitized out the uh got that night vision goggles yeah everybody likes night vision [00:08:42] Speaker 2: that volcano looks so cool right that would have been like so much fun to like plus the logo with the [00:08:47] Speaker 1: illustrate i'm sure yeah like i really would have liked to see this line to keep going i bet you ask carson about that he'll probably know if there was any future hopes of uh follow-up sets all right what do we got next [00:09:06] Speaker 3: yes oh yeah uh the caveman turtles we're asked about these quite a bit these are cool [00:09:11] Speaker 1: they're always so yeah that you can see it on the leonardo and the donatello there's like the little tmt stamp on the dinosaur's hip oh and then some don't have it right right and i somebody told us that came here said that they did that the second time around or [00:09:51] Speaker 1: the second batch of them oh in the picture i see it yeah yeah yeah it's it's like right behind the [00:09:57] Speaker 3: saddle the far right that's right interesting actually two variations because april and bebop we have have [00:10:04] Speaker 2: silver weapons oh well then there's weapon very yeah which makes it more for whatever silver weapons silver weapons yeah it's that time i don't know why would it even matter with this though like i get with the barbarian i don't know but this one why does it matter it's oh the broke off in the mouth [00:10:54] Speaker 3: so it's just like a tauntaun or a dewback they're just little tabs that yeah tear off in there [00:11:00] Speaker 2: the other ones are relatively easy and now those are cool and they there's some weapon reuse too [00:11:08] Speaker 3: like i think the oh yeah uh isn't the one leo sword is very similar i think it's the barbarian from the gotten forgotten sewers yeah yeah yeah but i know the leo we had the barbarian one he had the [00:11:21] Speaker 2: silver weapons and it and it seems like no matter what whenever a turtle is more it's usually because they have one or several unique weapons that they never use again like forgotten sewer when we had [00:11:33] Speaker 3: those figures in i think i had a total of one of those weapons from like the four guys yeah yeah so [00:11:38] Speaker 2: that tells you how often we get them yeah and universal monsters is kind of like that there's a couple different colors it's so hard there's like two or three right yeah yeah you might do it but [00:11:48] Speaker 1: that it'd be mixed colors yeah quad color all right what do we got next let's uh see what we got here ah yes these are we never have these are beyond impossible wow i didn't know there were humans in this line so we are looking at dino saucers and these were put out by glass light [00:12:11] Speaker 2: and we saw one at retro horicon oh yeah yeah one yeah we had a vendor who had one of these [00:12:18] Speaker 1: yeah no these are the cartoons cool yeah it was animated well uh i just it's like these just never even had u.s distribution they went right well it was argentina or maybe it got to prototype stage and [00:12:33] Speaker 2: then it failed and then glass light who was south american yeah they licensed it and then produced [00:12:40] Speaker 1: it right are they brazil i think class well but yeah brazil but like maybe other i don't know if [00:12:45] Speaker 2: they sell anywhere else in south america or not but anyway so that yeah like they've produced these and like how much are these things like it's kind of like well if you look for uh well i mean in the star [00:12:57] Speaker 1: wars line flicks only came out there right it's glass light so right such a popular strong line even though it was dying they chose to not put that one figure out and only glass light did it and then your macgyver's glass light your michael knight card it is uh oh yeah magnum pi yeah you ever see the [00:13:18] Speaker 2: dracula set yeah that one's awesome it's a dracula figure and he's got a van and a car and like a helicopter that's not his size either but they're all dracula thing oh that's cool awesome is that [00:13:28] Speaker 1: like that spider-man buddy l set and you get all these vehicles yeah they're it's all like that [00:13:32] Speaker 2: like does not does not scale with the figure what's but it doesn't matter it's just the toy you just play with it you know i mean these these don't even look like toys they look like a mock-up [00:13:42] Speaker 1: to me anyways yeah like yeah then you got like the little ball guys on the bottom right yeah was that a fuzzy blueberry yeah he's got uh but see that's like also it was a really good cartoon [00:13:54] Speaker 2: is galaxy rangers and those yeah impossible or or that those were here though right they just you [00:14:00] Speaker 1: just couldn't find them anywhere yeah it's just it seems like if you find them they're overseas just like in mask a lot of the split seconds were overseas so i don't know if they just dumped them [00:14:09] Speaker 2: over there because it was done here yeah okay so then we never really did get rangers did we [00:14:16] Speaker 1: i don't know i mean i mean i remember i didn't even know that existed but i was well yeah out of toys and then it was something i learned about later and then i mean i remember [00:14:26] Speaker 3: the tiger sharks cartoon and see i know i didn't even know that like all i knew was thundercats the only reason i knew because i think it came on like right after thundercats it was your typical but see were they released simultaneously or because it might have been [00:14:41] Speaker 2: later but i mean thundercats went on for a couple seasons yeah yeah and tiger sharks got the axe pretty [00:14:46] Speaker 3: quick right because because i remember it was like tiger sharks silver hawks yeah yeah and silver [00:14:51] Speaker 2: hawks and thundercats i guess they equally took off yeah but thundercats lasted longest yeah i guess what three waves on them and a bunch of accessories where's yeah so cartoon wise it's probably yeah yeah it's a lot longer it's no play set in silverhawks there's a company that's in brazil now that sells [00:15:11] Speaker 1: these and i don't they could be slightly different and that i bought just to forget about them because [00:15:21] Speaker 2: i'm sure the production runs are small every once in a while i'll walk in the back they used to be in something and i'll see them again oh yeah they're there oh yeah are they still there [00:15:29] Speaker 1: not like the back corner of a right i bought like four or five of each yeah and then just i'll just [00:15:35] Speaker 2: gonna forget about this i think you like open one case the box is really cheap yeah the cellophane [00:15:42] Speaker 1: windows they really mean and they're you know they didn't pack them the best but yeah i like the guy [00:15:49] Speaker 2: the red i guess he's like a t-rex but he's he's got like torn clothes because he's dangerous i like the [00:15:56] Speaker 3: red guy below him with the black armor yeah no he looks cool you would yeah he looks super cool he's [00:16:02] Speaker 1: probably a bad guy bad guys are cooler yeah the one in the bottom left whatever he he just looks like [00:16:07] Speaker 3: he's the dumb one yeah yeah yeah it's like goofy bottom right dude's like oh yeah he's bubble gum or [00:16:14] Speaker 2: something he's got a snake head yeah i don't think i see a smart one in the bunch i don't know yeah [00:16:21] Speaker 1: but now this is cool good cartoon too if you haven't seen it and a good uh dinosaurs i forget the jingle so who are the kids i don't know they look like the pokemon kid yeah yeah gotta catch them [00:16:35] Speaker 3: all he's like i'm gonna get these dinosaurs that blueberry things is pokeball yeah yeah i don't [00:16:42] Speaker 1: know what those are i i think i've seen like little varmints or something yeah yeah he just rolls around [00:16:49] Speaker 2: gets in the way maybe they're eggs oh maybe they never hatch they're like whoa we'll hatch when we [00:16:55] Speaker 1: want to guys it's like who's who tailored their outfits got like tubes running everywhere it's a [00:17:01] Speaker 3: lot of fabric right you got to keep you cool dinosaur to keep you warm put some tubes that guy that's on the top right is he like i don't know like a duck head yeah it's like a platypus man platosaurus platosaurus platosaurus rex yeah i betcha those weapons are money too yeah probably [00:17:20] Speaker 1: they all look the same too at least most of them made like from a clump of bone and mud yeah yeah yeah all right what do we got next that was a good [00:17:34] Speaker 4: end of the last action figures and the porter's treehouse each sold separately batteries not [00:18:00] Speaker 1: included from tiger good line though that was oh boy oh man land of the law make it stop and this is not the original land of the lost which was land of the lost yeah the the 90s show right yeah this [00:18:14] Speaker 3: because i watched the original one right right nice gar face i saw the 90s stack and chaka [00:18:21] Speaker 1: so we i so we were just at a show and we had all of these yeah yeah and i took them all but why to joe fest or no no sorry joe land none of them i took them to joelana and the only one i sold so we had like the two dinosaurs in that pack yeah there was one dinosaur on a cart like that that was it that was the only one that went and they're all like 20 bucks men on cart getting this tasha [00:18:51] Speaker 3: dinosaur chucking rocks i guess could have bought them all and not even i know the little little bigfoot [00:18:56] Speaker 1: looking dude his name's stinky no stink oh stink yeah what is that that the the gold sticker on the [00:19:04] Speaker 2: scarface t-rex does that say energizer flashing red eyes moving head and arms no the circle sticker oh oh the chrome one um up to five dollars cash back on energizer there you go uh so you put energizers in there it says tiger i was gonna say made by tiger yeah yeah it's probably the eyes light up there yeah there's a battery thing why are his eyes like vertical well that's that's a color tone [00:19:32] Speaker 1: on his face it's tough in the oh scar face okay it's the scar okay clever it really roars clever [00:19:42] Speaker 2: flashing red eyes moving head and arms got a big old grin it would be frightening to see a giant t-rex and his eyes also were flashing yeah it's added scaring so this is before they realized the t-rex is uh [00:19:55] Speaker 1: i guess the same with the dino hunters because now that now they walk yeah with their torso parallel to the ground that's your old 70s and 80s yeah before they realized they didn't walk upright what's [00:20:12] Speaker 2: this tasha yeah chucking rocks with rock six rocks he's wind up oh six rocks really walks and really [00:20:20] Speaker 1: chucks rocks yeah but how does he release the rocks or you just put them in front of them i mean they [00:20:25] Speaker 3: get they're showing you up top there you put an arm and it launches it you pull the arm back oh that's [00:20:29] Speaker 2: cool launches it a whole two inches away from him rock chuck in action that's a lot of technology just to go [00:20:36] Speaker 1: into that to that line anyways yeah well i i i yeah the original one i thought was cool but i mean i saw it as a kid so i guess it meant more i i didn't even know there was another show so was it sid and marty [00:20:49] Speaker 2: croft's later the loss back then so they owned it then okay yeah so i remember seeing this in the 90s [00:20:55] Speaker 1: and being just kind of like what is this the will ferrell and uh what's his name oh right right um the joe the guy's doing the joe movie the rock town express guy [00:21:06] Speaker 2: eastbound and down yeah oh danny mcbride yeah danny mcbride yeah that's they did the land of the [00:21:11] Speaker 1: lost movie you saw that i didn't see it did you see it no no it's funny well because i remember the show i didn't see it yeah so they kind of go through in this yeah and then they end up back in time it's [00:21:23] Speaker 2: funny it's stupid right right but you you said you saw the original show and it probably had a plot i don't this show was very hard to follow it was more like watching a power rangers episode oh but i'm talking about the movie it's right right so then but because of this i was like i'll pass on [00:21:38] Speaker 1: them oh right yeah you were then yeah but you get danny mcbride and will ferrell is gonna be i only [00:21:42] Speaker 2: knew will ferrell was in it so i was like yeah yeah that's not enough but maybe i'll give it a chance pre-eternia lost land of the dinosaurs thunderous tyrannosaurus rex battles mighty bionatops ferocious dinosaurs take this man how can he-man survive new from the masters of the universe figures bionatops tyrannosaurus rex and turbo datgo each souls can he-man escape the past and them all right travis well this these are cool they're [00:22:29] Speaker 2: cool but man they are a lot of trouble right about that so let's what are we looking at we're looking at uh i i guess three of the last or next to last releases from the masters of the universe line tyrantosaurus rex super cool it's tyrant that's a good name tyrantosaurus rex binatops and turbodactyl that's a good name too and every yeah great names every one of them is fragile yeah in many places um [00:23:02] Speaker 1: so we had a box tyrantosaurus and we sold it it was a foreign box yes yep if i remember correctly it was [00:23:10] Speaker 2: 700. i thought we had a box by on the tops too we did we had like five yeah i got them from a sealed [00:23:15] Speaker 1: case right we i found one in the office so we can take it to the show okay yeah did we did you ever [00:23:22] Speaker 2: get any of them graded or no no i think they are graded oh oh so they've already been great okay see [00:23:28] Speaker 1: i never i used to have one i thought in here graded encased well or no no it was one that i didn't [00:23:34] Speaker 2: grade right that one might have been a trade-in because it was open oh okay that's what i'm remembering yeah yeah but yeah i remember him getting a case i just lost track because the shipper case is in the office i mean i'm pretty sure we have a turbodactyl in there now we still have a turbodactyl in there [00:23:48] Speaker 1: he's the toughest now one that isn't shown but was shown in the catalog is the giant and i don't know what his nickname or his name was but it's a giant brontosaurus yeah yeah that thing would have been awesome so i don't know what cool name they came up with for him he was he's like i guess because [00:24:03] Speaker 2: these are like vehicles anyway yeah you'd hang out in his tummy right it's huge weird it's yeah it's humongous with his neck this tall it probably would have been taller than eternia if it ever had been [00:24:15] Speaker 1: released probably like brosaurus i i don't know i don't i it's cool though i bought the old mattel catalog i don't know if it was the toy fair catalog just to see the shot because it's i mean one was made [00:24:29] Speaker 3: yeah i mean i guess what the line was over and probably cost way too much money to make yeah they [00:24:34] Speaker 2: cut they cut somewhere in here because like the um well because weren't you going to get that king [00:24:40] Speaker 1: gray skull guy yeah because that with that package there was a whole bunch of seven ended up doing it [00:24:45] Speaker 3: yeah yeah there was a slew of figures that they had lined up that they didn't make yeah and you you [00:24:49] Speaker 2: barely see any pictures that yellow ape was one the yellow ape with the green face uh the the two giants got dumped overseas uh laser light he-man and skeletor got dumped overseas i think this might have been like the very end yeah because they had the new logo yep that gray skull [00:25:08] Speaker 3: logo yeah pre-eternia that was 1987. well they probably should have continued with this line and [00:25:16] Speaker 1: not have done new adventures well there was a few things that was wrong dying even though it's so cool [00:25:23] Speaker 3: fire some life back into it because anything was better than new adventures oh yeah no no no adventures [00:25:28] Speaker 2: was a mistake it was like what if we made e-man flash gordon i guess yeah he made it in space yeah with a mullet well if maybe if he looked the same maybe it could have worked he-man in space yeah they gave him a ponytail and he was like a shepherd i don't know i thought he had like so there was a ponytail on [00:25:47] Speaker 1: him because i was just thinking like you said super short hair the figure didn't have it but in the show he had it see i didn't watch the show not good it's not not good so they didn't make the figure [00:25:56] Speaker 2: match the show no no yeah and then the my favorite thing about new adventures was that the bodies got reused for demolition man three shells demolition man figures are better than those new events yes yeah [00:26:10] Speaker 3: yeah yeah i mean it would have made more sense if they tried to take him in at this point and then move like time warp him like the commercial did yeah back to pre-eternia and then push the line [00:26:21] Speaker 1: i mean kofi went to like the inner earth they could have done anything he's like you could do anything with he-man other than throw him in space he's already in and then they find like a german submarine and there's like this whole hit and then they fight in the germans find the gold train full of gold [00:26:36] Speaker 2: right they couldn't be germans they'd have to be like uh nazis bad guys yeah but they'd have to [00:26:42] Speaker 3: call them something else they'd have you know the skeletor joins up with them right like right and then [00:26:46] Speaker 2: well then it would be red skull i guess anti-eternians it'd be all the guys the same guys all black hydra yeah yeah they i mean i don't know i don't know i we've heard everything about how like the toy line nose dived yeah but i'd also read an article that it wasn't in um the toys that made us about like executives and other people higher up were just like misappropriating funds and using it for [00:27:16] Speaker 1: other things this is so cool and then you just you wonder how how did how did it die i mean king hiss [00:27:23] Speaker 3: on a t-rex so cool come on he's flexing they knew that was oh he's flexing right right i've got to roll this look at that look at this he's got that like smirk too yeah he's like yeah you're right you're looking at me you know you know what's about to get what you see coming over coming over later dinner [00:27:43] Speaker 2: better be ready coming in strong bro i mean you know i i don't i don't i don't know like the more i look at it i'm like how well it's doing now it had to be several factors of them just mishandling the line because they could sell a cowboy that had guns that pop out out all over his body i still look at [00:28:05] Speaker 3: that figure and go like why i still think they should have bridged rio blast into brave star that would have been smart would have been smart right that would yeah then it would have pulled it in [00:28:18] Speaker 2: they couldn't even get she-ra and he-man in the same scale they're related yeah [00:28:23]
