Trump Suddenly ENDS Press Conference After Reporter Calls Out New War Strikes

[0:00] United States is bombing Iran again. I mean, you've been bombing Iran for months now. Is [0:04] this just the new normal for the American people? No, well, we're in Vietnam for 19 [0:08] years. We're here for four months. I don't understand constantly like, [0:14] hey, this stupid war that you don't like. What about that other one? We might get there someday. [0:20] That's not how you sell stuff. I thought you were like a carnival parker. The point is to [0:24] get people on your side. But anyway, Trump was probably off his game because it was Caitlin [0:30] Collins, who has a supernatural ability to get under his skin. And it's hard for him to focus [0:37] because he's enraged by her and how good she is at her job. And he's also, let's keep it real, [0:42] desperately horny the entire time. So we can't expect much out of him in that interaction. [0:48] We also, it's become clear, can't expect much out of him when it comes to Iran generally. That said, obviously I was critical yesterday of his plan to toll ships [4:09] going through the Strait of Hormuz. I was critical of it yesterday and two weeks ago when he said it [4:14] and a month ago when he said it and two months ago when he said it. And I swear to you, I will be [4:19] critical of it when he says it in nine days. But for now, he's changed his mind, which is good. [4:25] He released this. I think this is the first book in a trilogy, I'm pretty sure. But the important part [4:32] is blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, ship traffic, blah, blah, blah. We totally control it except [4:36] that ships are getting blown up and everything. But then he says, based on highly productive [4:42] conversations with Middle East leadership, I have decided to replace the 20% US reimbursement fee [4:48] with trade and investment deals that the various Gulf states will be making the US. [4:52] Those investments will be massive. Okay, so he announced yesterday that we're going to [5:00] be the guardian angels of the Strait of Hormuz and we're going to declare 20% fee on all the ships. [5:06] And then a day later, he's like, no, but some countries are gonna, they told me they'd invest [5:12] here. Well, that's the same thing. Look, I think both of these are absolute bull crap. [5:16] I don't think either of these things was ever going to happen. They're not doing the investments. [5:19] That's not how investments work, by the way. You do investments when you think there will be a return on [5:24] it. You don't do it because like Trump said he's gonna do a toll. You know that he's not going to, [5:30] it's all a lie. And by the way, he's gonna declare that he's gonna do a toll again. [5:33] I stand by my joke from a minute ago. It's gonna happen over and over and over again. The Defense Ministry for the UAE said that Iranian forces has targeted a pair of [8:36] its tankers in the Strait of Hormuz, killing a crew member by the way. The national tankers [8:41] Mombasa and al-Bahia were targeted by two Iranian cruise missiles. That's weird, because I didn't [8:48] think they've had those for months, but apparently they did. And they hit ships moving through the [8:52] Strait of Hormuz within Omani territorial waters. The attack resulted in the death of one Indian crew [8:59] member, the injury of eight others. The attack also caused material damage to both tankers as a result of [9:04] the fires that broke out on board, which has since been brought under control. By the way, [9:09] it is amazing to me that one of these tankers can survive being hit by a cruise missile at all. [9:13] And I'm glad that it did because I don't want one person to die, let alone even more of them. [9:17] But I don't know if I was one of the other ships being told, okay, so Trump says [9:22] they're the guardian angels and the Strait of Hormuz is open except for running ships and we can go [9:27] through and they just hit two tankers with cruise missiles and killed a person.
