[0:02] donald trump just gave a disaster press conference in the oval office where of course he was sitting [0:07] because he can no longer stand out for longer than a few minutes and he acknowledged that the [0:13] war in iran is going to keep going baby now what's interesting is that the president has said as cnn [0:21] says here 37 times before that the war is going to be over within days it comes as president trump [0:28] declares the war with everyone could be over within days as the two sides come closer to an [0:33] agreement but president trump has also made similar declarations about the war at least 37 times before [0:39] so let's go live now to cnn senior white house correspondent kristen holmes um so is this time [0:45] any different kristen i think that's the the bottom line question here no it's not different in fact we [0:51] know that donald trump is just lying his ass off he has no idea what is happening he truly is not in [0:57] control of the situation he hates that and that's why he's lashing out because that's all donald trump [1:02] knows how to do he doesn't actually know how to make a deal he only knows how to tear things down [1:08] he's a genius at that he's a genius he's a genius at destroying things he's not really good at getting [1:15] people to come together now i have to say that this moment here is going to go down in the history books [2:50] of donald trump that prices are up every month we got a jump of five tenths of a percent that was the [2:58] expectation from acpi that's the headline number 4.2 year over year the headline number uh that was in [3:05] line uh that is a jump from last month's 3.8 so it rose month to month to be clear this year [3:11] over your headline number is the highest number we've seen since april of 2023 core month over [3:16] month i will say excuse me not quite in line two tenths of a percent the expectation three [3:20] tenths of a percent pretty close core month to month and then 2.9 percent year over year for core [3:27] may cpi that was the expectation 2.9 percent let me tell you what the government is saying because [3:33] again it was the energy story that we saw last month i will tell you the energy index did jump again [3:39] month to month 3.8 percent uh but what the government is saying is that the 3.9 excuse me [3:45] jump for energy for the month of may uh is a core piece and that is 60 percent of what we have seen [3:52] uh in the increase uh that we're looking at and the markets of course are reacting shelter also [3:57] increased in may three tenths of a percent and i'm just going to put that in layman's terms not good [4:03] not good and donald trump was asked about graham platner and listen graham platner has done some [4:13] things that are not great in his life but the difference between him and donald trump is that [4:18] graham platner has admitted to it and he has committed to doing better donald trump never [4:24] acknowledges that he's something broken in his brain but the one that they're all talking about [6:03] is the almost 2500 foot long that's taller than any building in the world actually there's no building [6:11] that's 2500 feet tall i don't think but it's like twice the height of the empire state building as [6:18] an example much wider so uh we just got that open last night we went to do it before july 4th and it [6:25] is incredible it's called it was originally called 1922 was built it was called the reflecting pond [6:32] or the reflecting lake some people called it but uh it was supposed to be reflection yeah it's called [6:38] the reflecting pool what an idiot all right ron filikowski said i'm not really understanding [6:44] the comparison between the length of a pool and the height of a building i a sudden [7:59] he doesn't make the runoff and then i i hit them hard on that but i started talking about steve hilton [8:06] who's a fantastic guy and i saw them say it was going to be two weeks before they knew and i started [8:12] hitting them it's going to happen to steve hilton too it's watch you got to watch and they approved [8:17] steve hilton very quickly they didn't want to there was too much heat on him the only reason he got approved [8:23] he had all the votes he needed probably to be first place but the only reason they approved [8:28] steve hilton it was going to be two weeks they said it and then they approved him that night so [8:36] donald trump is alleging that democrats for some reason rigged the la mayoral race against a republican [8:46] so that two democrats could get through even though if that were the case [8:49] i we somehow couldn't rig the gubernatorial candidate or perhaps we did but then donald trump [9:00] pointed out and so they stopped it just i don't know man it's we are just so beyond the looking [9:07] grass on this and donald trump also said that he had a larger crowd than mlk's i have a dream speech [9:16] this man's brain is cooked and it's really beautiful it's something for you to see it's [9:20] incredible it's the largest it's the longest pool in the world by three or four times it's you know [9:26] it's really pretty amazing that's where martin luther king made his great speech and they say he had a [9:32] million people and i made a speech there for july 4th a few years ago and they said and i was packed [9:37] and they said i had 25 000 people they said he had a million but when you look at the picture [9:41] i said wait the people are even tighter at mine i had more people than him but they said i had 25 [9:48] 000 and he had a million but i'm not going to argue with martin luther king because this is so [9:55] embarrassing okay are you thoroughly embarrassed i am okay well another day of sanity in donald
