[00:00:00] Speaker 1: can sneak the wasp. I don't think the wasp is staying there. You see it's a wasp right? It's big. It's a wasp. It's a vestibular form. I love it. We're back. It's another shop tour guys. Why, why, why? So quickly after the previous one. Well the shop's changed so much. Take a look around, see what we've got. It's mental! So let's start off with some transformers. Generation one, it's been crazy this week. We've had so many in. I was here doing late nights, early mornings, trying to get this lot in. I'll be honest with you, it's a bit higgledy-piggledy still, but it's all in there and that's what counts. Right, so many pretty things. Right, so building combiners I actually love. I find it very therapeutic. However, I had a bit of an admission. Sometimes when you get really minty transformers, you think it's just gold plastic that's going to shatter. Well, Bruticus fans, beware. Bruticus, a lot of the parts on him, particularly the helicopter, particularly the tank, those parts really, really break easily when you are transforming them to put them into different modes. And it was the case with this one. In fact, not just one, but two breakages as I built Bruticus up. Really clumsy of me. Doing this a long time. Should know better. But it happens, guys. So don't kick yourself when something goes wrong. It happens all the time. And as we discovered when we got the Hummer back, sometimes it just happens through, you know, transit. Sometimes a mega figure will lose a leg. Just happens. The casualty of war, as it were. But this cabinet, honestly, if I was picking a cabinet, this is going to be our cabinet of the week. A new thing we're doing on social media. I absolutely love looking at these. Combiners are a big thing. I love them so much. Devastator. I'm telling you, how many times can you build a Devastator and it fall apart? Quite a lot. This one's in really nice shape, though. Like a lot of those transformers in this collection that we bought in. Condition, condition, condition. 99.9% of them, and there really was that many, were in excellent shape. There's a couple of issues, but just a couple on all the hundreds of transformers we got out. So we have, obviously, a lot of stock going up to our other shop in Scarborough. But we also have a lot of stock in here. So one of the worst ones, this is one of the worst condition ones, was Megatron. He's complete with all his parts. As you'll see, he's not perfect. But it will be a nice budget option for someone. And Megatron's never lasts very long. So yeah, he's going to be really nice. Some of his French one as well. Seji. So quite a cool bot. Lots and lots of cool stuff right through the ages. I do love, though, out of them all, Action Masters I've got a bit of a soft spot for. But I think it's Pretenders where my heart lies. And now a lot of people will come at me in the comments for the Pretenders because they are, well, you know, they're basically a big action figure with some accessories and then another sort of transforming robot that's quite simple in design. But just look at them. They are beautiful to look at. Octo Punch is up there for me. Just really, really nice as a figure. He's really, really cool. I like his slightly stooped over. And then you've got him complete with all his accessories, including the minigun inside, which is really tough. I have got a budget option on one of these with just missing the minigun. He's a lot, lot less. But yeah, that minigun is a tinker to find. So he is similarly priced. Oh, another quite expensive one. Let's go with bludgeon. Got a couple of these in stock. So a couple of complete ones. A really, really cool figure. Anything with the skull, right? Really, really cool. Now, those of you that know the cartoons will be more familiar with the character than I am. But he's a bit of a legend in there, apparently. Yeah, so Pretenders are a big thing where I do like them. My favourite of them all, though, is definitely the beasts. I mean, like, what's not to like? It's a giant boar. Love him. Old snarler. Nice condition as well. Just these shoulder pieces go for good money on their own. When you're operating one of these, just be careful as you put them in. As you'll notice on this one, look. You see the little break? They quite often got just that little issue there. And it's the same on... Oh, I always want to call him Weird Wolf. But it's not Weird Wolf. Weird Wolf's the headmaster. There we go. Same when you take the gun out. This is not too bad, but it is quite a tight fit. This one's in good shape. A little bit of paint lost around the actual rest of it, but not broken there. Just something to be aware of when we're putting them together. And often temperature changes can be problematic for these, in my experience. But there are so many Transformers experts, people that know far more than me. But just what a great line to look at. The colours, the age, they just tick a lot of boxes for me. What a great line. We'll see you next time. Now you saw these in the last video didn't you? If you watched the Hummer, when we unloaded the Hummer full of toys that we shipped from the USA, you'll have seen some of these Police Academy. This is just some of the selection we've got in. I'm going to pick out a couple of favourites. Obviously there's characters, if you've seen the films, I haven't. Guess what? I've seen bits of them, I know enough to be dangerous. But I like this guy, Kingpin. Really, really cool. Why do I like him? Because it's basically me. Look at that. I'm starting to get some jewellery and a big flower there and I'm kind of there, right? Now long-time viewers of the channel will know I'm a sucker for shop displays. This is a video shop shop display. So this is shaped like a video look. Really, really cool. Came off Laszlo, one of my friends that I went to see in Belgium. We saw Laszlo on Toy Shop on Tour and if you're regulars at the European toy shows, you'll see Laszlo. Absolute bargain that was. Really, really pleased with it. It's for sale now. It's a big old piece, but I do really like it. I have no affinity with the film though. But if this was like Princess Bride or something like that, I would perhaps be a little bit more like, I might keep that. So if anyone got a Princess Bride one and wants to swap for an Indy one, I'm your guy. Right. Not really the military type, but I do like space guns and some of them make an amazing sound. The 70s were alive with this sort of sound. Oh, it's loud, man. Not just that either. It does different sounds. If I can find the button. Oh, sounds like a possessed chicken. Oh, that's nice. When I'm reversing. When I'm reversing. The analogue sounds. I mean, like this should be made by Moog or someone. It's really, really cool. I do love that. I love it. Stun laser, immobiliser, transporter, vaporiser, coder. I want to show you these. Oh, I love them. So these come off my mate, Dan. The guy that wrote a lot of really cool things. So a lot of the 2000 AD comics and a lot of Judge Dredd, Guardians of the Galaxy, things like that. He wrote the original bits for him along with other people. So, yeah, Dan Abner. These come off him. Originally sold by us to him. And I'll be honest with you, I've had that one a few times, a Fremen tarpaul gun. I don't know what it does to tarpaul things. That, though, I've... This is the only one I've ever had and I've owned it twice. That's really tough. I don't know how many of those there are around, but it's a beautiful example. That is lovely. Really, really cool. The whole Dune line is a really cool line. LJN were covered really, really well. One of my friends has got a video all about LJN. But he didn't cover the Dune range. But the Dune range is a fabulous range of toys. Again, a film I've never seen. But the toys themselves, yeah, they're a bit lumpy. But I really like them. And that, I think, rather think that's the pinnacle. And all the people will look at the sandworm for obvious reasons. We know. Keep it clean, people. This has got it for me. Now, it's the bit you've all been waiting for. Yes, it's that time again. It's Fat Man on a Ladder. And here we are. I want to show you the sort of HasLab stuff. Because they are absolutely amazing. Let me move this Doctor Who out of the way. The Ghost. That is one of the biggest boxes you will ever see. Apart from the Sail Barge, which is ridiculous. But a massive toy. Too big? Am I being controversial to say that? Is it too big? I think it might be too big. The Razorcrest is glorious, though. Really, really cool. And then we've got the Cantina, which is absolutely fascinating. They didn't build a box big enough. So they had to come with two boxes. Why don't you just build a bigger box? Come on. Sort it out, HasLab. But yeah, one big box would have done it. So, I love the Trumpton set. Now, Trumpton was, even for me, was slightly before my time. But I've always had an affinity with the actual set. I think it's really gorgeous. Made by Eman, which are a British manufacturer. They are absolutely lovely. And the highlight of it, obviously this is all flat, but I've had a few of these in. So if you've seen it on a video before, it probably won't be the same one. But this is one I've had for probably about the last, probably about the last year. But I do really, really love it. It's really, really nice. The highlight for me is, of course, the fire engine. But there we go. But the problem is, if I ever get them in shop stock, I have to build them. That's where the fun's at. Look at that, it's lovely. So cool. And you get all your characters, look. And you put them in their various different places. So there you go. You can put out fires anywhere with this toy. Despite it being completely flammable and made of cardboard. Now, one of the most iconic lines we have in the shop is, of course, the Doctor Who line. However, as we stated on the last video, they're the most falling over figure in the world. Competing only with one other, which we'll get to in a moment. But one thing I love about the Doctor Who figures is, generally, they're cast really well. The likenesses to the actual TV show are excellent. And they're kind of interchangeable. So people can customise them really, really well. We've got an excellent selection at the moment, with a lot more to come out besides. We just haven't got space for them at the moment. So, yeah. I need to kind of, like, I don't know, knock through next door at this rate. Speaking of next door, just next door to the Doctor Who, we have our Turtles, which are competing with the Doctor Who for the most falling over figures. Ami, bless her, moved all this stuff over last week. And I was quickly like that. I'm out! As soon as it sort of began. But I did do the Doctor Who. So I'd suffered enough already, right? But, yeah. The good thing about the Turtles is you can put them on stands. So if it's some of the more difficult figures to stand up, you can actually get them on stands. So they've got a bit of a cop-out. But, yeah. It's a cool-looking cabinet, this one. We have a lot more Turtles to put in there. But, again, it's space. And one cabinet of Turtles is probably enough, right? Right? This is lovely. And also, I think I've found the inspiration for my next fancy dress outfit. Yabba-dabba-doo. Yabba-dabba-don't, more like. Right. So that will do us for this week. We'll come back with another shop tour very soon. It's going to be amazing, guys. I'm off for lunch. See you later. When I was in the Netherlands the other week, I picked up... I wasn't in the Netherlands. So, when I was in Belgium, I was with my... I'm flipping out. I've had... I need to start this again. I've had blank. This is... This is... I picked up this amazing video shop store display. I absolutely love this thing. I just... No, it's gone. So, this is the most falling-y over... Falling-y... Falling-y over? Falling-y... Falling-y... Falling-y over? So, this is the cabinet that I fell out. No, I didn't fall out of the cabinet. Do it again. Hold on. Right. Well, I hope you've enjoyed that shop tour. We've had a great time looking around the shop. I'm out to get some... I'm off... I've messed it up. Right. I'm off... No, I don't start with I'm off for lunch. I'm hungry. Go. Right. I don't... It'd be better... You know if I came here on a skateboard? Seriously, is there a skateboard? No skateboards. Seriously. Is there a skateboard anywhere? No, no skateboard. Oh, man. Oh, no. Ah! Ah! Ah! Oh! I've got a massive head. Oh, well. See you later. See you later.
