i like him i don't think i'm going down that route yet and this point on your commando on the card what have you got on him uh 80. 80. it's not bad is it it's pretty good let's put him back there yeah you appreciate it so let's have a look at what we got so real quickly guys the first pickup of the day were these four figures from the grocery gang now these are 2016. sometimes it's not all about vintage i like to collect what i like to collect and these guys will go very well on my gross out shelf so these are part of a gang called putrid power and you've got squished banana blowfly and two putrid pizzas i think they're cool they're a bit of fun they're a bit of a random pickup but i like them and next up also a bit of a random pickup again we've got popeye and olive oil bendable figures from 1993 they were made by kfs now i grew up on popeye in the 80s i was a big fan there's no sweet pea or bluto in this set so this is two and done the set is complete so next up we have a king kong this was made by imperial toys in 1985 i've got a few of the other imperial toys they're a liner quite like we'll see how many more imperial toys there are to collect but it will fit well with my imperial universal monsters now it seems like random is the order of the day but i was very happy to pick up this ljn stripe from the gremlins movie this was made in 1984 he's a bit battered he's seen better days but i've gone for a tenner as part of a bundle deal i'm going to be on the lookout for more ljn stuff especially gremlins because i just think it's a cool line now this line fascinates me this is actually creepy crawlers from 1994 and this is the italian version la fabrica del mostri literally translates to the monster factory so they didn't even keep it the same name didn't even call it creepy crawlers in italian so this is the english version of this card back and it's pretty much exactly the same except the logo is different there's the italian one but all the figures are exactly the same now they obviously had different distributors but they were made by toymax in 1994. i love this line and i kind of bought this on the premise that one day i might unbox all of these 20 pounds for a carded 1994 figure i don't know seems a good deal to me and of course my favorite pickup of the day is this double feature mad balls vhs cassette tape this was produced in 1986 escape from orb was basically a commercial for the toy line they didn't carry this on into an animated series this was at the height of mad balls popularity and on the other side we've got gross jokes which was kind of a sketch compilation of gross out jokes and funny skits what i love about this is the price it kept getting reduced and reduced until they managed to sell them for 2.95 in video easy i've never heard of that vhs place before the case has seen better days but it all adds to nostalgia for me you don't see the normal vhs versions in the uk this would have been two separate vhs cassettes when they were sold so this kind of makes it unique and i love anything to do with mad balls law i'm very happy to pick this up for a decent price and not the overinflated uk price that seems to be abundant for the mad balls toys at the moment it's ridiculous it's got out hand so 30 pound for a double-sided vhs i'm very happy i've just got to find a spot to put it in my collection somewhere so
