Opening 15 Harry Potter Mystery Wands From Walmart — Potions Series

Welcome to the Potter Collector Channel, where we are, a community of collectors. Now, I should use one of these boxes because all these boxes contain wands. So we love a mystery unboxing video, don't we? And we love a mystery wand unboxing video. Guys, we have done, I think, every single series of these wands that has been released since series one, when the Noble Collection was making them. Now, the Noble Collection doesn't make them anymore. Spin Master is the new manufacturer of these wands, and they're about the same quality. I think this is maybe the third set from Spin Master? Fourth set? I don't know. We've opened so many of these wands. And there's currently a new series out at Walmart. You can purchase these at Walmart. And there's a new series that we have not opened up yet. I actually haven't acquired them yet, so we're going to have to acquire them at Walmart. But these are an older series. When did these come out? I think these came out last year, or the year before. Or, like, in between last year and the year before. But anyway, I'm excited to open them. This series is the Potions series. And it features Hermione Granger on the front. Dun-da-da. We'll take a look at the back. Here are the wands that you can pull. Who do we have? [00:01:30] Speaker 2: Hermione Granger, Harry Potter, Professor Slughorn, Voldemort, Professor Sprout, Remus Lupin, Severus Snape, Dolores Umbridge, and Madame Pomfrey. [00:01:35] Peter Kenneth: Ron, of course, gets the short end of the stick. In this series, Ron always gets the short end of the stick. Let's come clean on something. I was going to say we're going to try to pull all of the wands. I think they have officially, like, marked the boxes. Because I found nine boxes with nine different codes on them. And there are only nine different codes. It's this code here. See where it's, like, the last letters are, like, M-O-3-C. This one is, like, M-O-2-C. And then we have M-O-9-C. So, Spin Master has marked the boxes. So, you could purchase a complete set of these and not make them mystery. Which kind of makes me sad because the mystery aspect is what makes them fun. That's what was so great about the first few series of the Noble Collection versions of these wands. They were just in, like, giant containers. Like, just random. Randomly in giant containers. And you would just pull out different wands and try to get all nine in the set. Then, Noble Collection started to box them like this. And the thought and rumor was that one box contained all nine of the wands. I never experienced that because I would purchase, you know, three or four of these boxes. Mix them all together. And try to pull all nine of the wands. Which, usually, we did. So, it's most likely that a box contained all nine wands. I think we have a full set right here. But what I am going to do is mix these nine wands with these other wands. And then, we'll, like, see how many it takes for us to get all nine of them in this video. We probably are going to pull all nine. So, we're going to have to figure out a different way of doing this. Because I love when you guys send magic. And when you sent magic, we would always pull the wands. We have 15 wands here. Let's try to open all nine in 12 boxes. So, send magic for that. 12 is our number. That is our goal. Okay? And if we pull all nine wands in 12 boxes, I'm going to do something pretty big for one of you. I'm not going to say what it is yet. Something big is going to happen for one of you. So, keep watching. See if we can pull all nine in 12 boxes. And if we do, something magical is going to happen for one of you. All right. Box number one. We're about to have some fun. All right. Let's take a look at this box first. So, this is what all the other boxes are going to look like. So, we'll look at it just one time. We have all four of the Hogwarts houses and the mascots. And what is this? I don't know what this is. Oh, I already got spoiled. So, we'll just go through the box. This is the first one. But look who we got. Lord Voldemort. So, when you open up the flap, it shows the character whose wand you just pulled. And then this, it's like a potion. Oh, my goodness. Peter. This series is potions. I'm like, why is there love potion decorated on this box? Duh. Because it's the potion series. Oh, my goodness. So, I wonder if we're going to have different potions featured on the boxes or if they're all going to be love potion. Love potion number nine. All right. But we have Lord Voldemort. And here's his wand displayed there. And then it shows us what the... Oop. It shows us what... Oop. It shows us what the icon is going to be. And it's a cauldron. And I'm guessing this is the cauldron from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire when Voldemort is reborn from the ashes. No, that's a phoenix. When Voldemort is reborn from the disgusting potion that Peter Pettigrew brewed for him. So, let's pop open this wand and we'll take a closer look at the... Ooh. Guys, this stand is pretty darn cool. Oh. [00:05:44] Speaker ?: My goodness, Peter. [00:05:45] Peter Kenneth: Wait. Hold on. Yeah. It's the potion series. So, of course, there's going to be a potion that is the icon that represents the character. I will get there eventually. All right. So, we have his wand. And this is interesting. So, we have received a lot of Lord Voldemort wands in these mystery wand boxes. I don't really know the material the other ones have been made out of, but they've been kind of, like, more of, like, a... Well, I guess I would call, like, a rubbery resin. Like, they had a little bit of bend to them. They were a little less stiff like the collectible Noble Collection wands. And this one is a more stiff, cheaper material. I don't even know how to explain it. I guess, like, a little more plastic than the other ones? But it's also shiny. Look at how shiny that is. Compared to, like, the previous ones, which were, like, a little more dull. So, I don't know. I don't know if I like this more or if I like it less. I do like the color of the wand. The wand is a little more, like, yellowish. Maybe it's a little too yellow. But here are the stand and the icon. Let's pull these bad boys out. But what I love about this stand is this little bit here. Look at those, like, bubbles of cauldron potion and all that. I mean, they're kind of bubbles. And then we have the icon, which goes inside, in front of those bubbles. And here you have it. The stand is ready to go. It gives a nice, like, 3D effect to the little icon. And then in the back is a little place to stick the wand for display. And now the wand is ready to display on your shelves. So, we have Lord Voldemort. That's 1 out of 9 collected, found. Obviously, as we get closer to the number 9, it's going to be harder to find the others. So, let's put this box away and move on to box number 2. So, while I am opening these up, if you guys can leave a comment and let me know which of the wand series that we have done. I mean, we've done all of them. So, which one was your favorite? It could be your favorite video that we did. Or it could be your favorite series that was released. Which was your favorite? I want to know. So, let me know who's next. I'm going to show you guys first. Wait, do we have a different potion? No, we do. We don't. It's Love Potion. Unless this is Voldemort again. We have Love Potion again, featured. Who do we have? Professor Slughorn. Which is very appropriate because Professor Slughorn is the potion's master. I love Slughorn's wand. I mean, it looks like a slug. And it's just, it's gorgeous. It's gorgeous, y'all. Look at that thing. Look at that wand. Now, the Noble Collection version. And, oh no, this one is a little wavy. I was going to say the Noble Collection version. Or, I just, his wand in general, I should say. Because the Noble Collection wands are replicas of the real one. But, it has like a wavy shaft. And this one is slightly wavy. It's kind of hard to see. I don't know if you can, as I rotate it, you'll be able to see better. The real replica is just like super wavy. What is his icon? I think it's, is this like Draft of the Living Dead or something? I don't know. But, here we have Professor Slughorn's stand. Now, one thing I didn't mention when we looked at Voldemort's was that at the base here, in gold, we have the character's name written out. Bam. Slughorn is ready to be displayed. All right, we have two for two, which is not really saying much, because we've only opened up two. I'm guessing we probably do not have a duplicate yet. We're going to get another new one in this third box. Watch me be very wrong. Okay, here we go. Am I wrong? No, we're not. Madame Pomfrey, who is also kind of a potions master. She is the Hogwarts school nurse, so she's kind of making potions, you know. Ooh, she's got a great-looking wand. This is very reminiscent of, well, I mean, it is, like, from the first two Harry Potter movies. This is kind of what the wands looked like before they got all, like, artsy-fartsy. I personally prefer this style. The more classic, just kind of simple wands. I mean, not super simple, because if you look at McGonagall's wand, for example, it's simple, yet gorgeous. But this reminds me of, like, Hermione's wand or Harry's wand a bit from the first two films. If you did not know, when Alfonso Caron came in and directed Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, he changed a lot of stuff. Costumes, wands, in my opinion, not for the better, but for others' opinions, for the better. Ooh, fun! This is perfect. So, what potion would represent Madame Pomfrey? I'll give you three seconds to guess. It's very obvious, and if you don't guess it right away, when I show you, you're going to be like, oh, yeah, duh. Okay, ready? One, two, three. Skellgro. Perfect! Perfect representation of our school nurse. Here is her wand stand with the Skellgro there. Now, I don't think Skellgro is green, but, um, or is that green? I'm color deficient, so colors, no, I think it's, like, orangey or, like, an amber color. I could be wrong. It might be green. But love this display, and Madame Pomfrey is in the house represented. Now, one thing I want to mention, I said that these are older wands or older releases. A lot of times, you can find past series of these mystery wands in the Walmart stores. Not, like, series one or two from the Noble Collection. Those, you'd have to go to, like, eBay or something to find. But these kind of newer series, usually you can find them. Still in stock. All right, we are on to box number four. I did mix these up, didn't I? I'm pretty sure I mixed them up. I did mix them up. That'd be so sad if I just put, like, all nine on top. Well, hey, if I put all nine on top, then we would pull all nine in 12 boxes or less. And then one of you would get a magical surprise. So, maybe it's a good thing if we didn't mix them up. But I'm pretty sure I did mix them up. The hardest part of these unboxings is the tape. All right, here we go. Give us number four. I'm gonna look this time. Cannot believe this. We've opened four boxes and already we have four wands. Dolores Umbridge. We have pulled another wand. Tricked ya. See, this is funny. So, these wands, no, they are a little bit smaller. They're, like, thicker but also shorter. Like the mystery wands just in general when compared to the Noble Collection collectible wands. This one, though, is longer than the Noble Collection wand or longer than Professor Umbridge's wand. She's short and small. And she has a very small wand. Small, but powerful. Nasty witch, this Dolores Umbridge. And I will give you a clue as to what her icon is as I set up her stand. I'm not gonna give you a clue because I don't really know what clue to give. But I'll just show you. It's a teacup. It's a little teacup with vapor coming out of it. So, she's put some poison in the teacup. And she's about to poison a student. And here is Dolores Umbridge's wand in the stand. Now, I do like that the little gem here is not painted. So, they could have easily just painted this pink. But it's actually clear. See? Oh, wait. No. It's gonna be hard for you to see. But, like, if I hide it from the light, the light disappears from within. The other thing I wanted to mention was there is a little rubbery bit at the end where the wand goes in. And that just holds it in place. So, that's a nice little addition. So, it's not flopping around. It keeps it nice and sturdy for your displays. All right. We have four wands, guys. We are doing good. You're doing good sending that magic. Keep sending the magic because you're sending magic for a magical surprise for one of you. And that one of you could be you. So, send the magic for someone else, but also for yourself. All right. Here we go. Box number five. Box number five. We are feeling alive. All right. Here we go. Five for five. Remus Lupin! We have reached five wands out of the nine. We need four wands left. Here's Lupin's wand. Now, this one is interesting because this, I feel like, is the right size. When you compare it to the Noble Collection wand, it's really thin compared to these other wands. Now, normally, these mystery wands, like I was mentioning, are just kind of thicker and kind of more durable. So, you can play a little more rough with them. But don't play too rough because you don't want to poke someone's eye out. And Lupin's icon is, oh, okay. This is, shoot, I forget what it's called. But it's, you know, a potion. Oh, what is it called? Shoot, it's on the tip of my tongue. I should know this, guys. I should know this. It's not wolf's bane. No, no, no, that's an ingredient. Maybe it is the wolf's bane potion. So, this is going to help Remus Lupin with his transition into being a werewolf. This is the best wand so far because, again, this is like the closest to the replica wand that you can get from the Noble Collection. All right, five wands. Five wands checked off. Who do we need? Let's go to the list. Let's check out the list and see who is remaining. So, we need Harry Potter, Professor Sprout, Severus Snape, oh, and Hermione Granger. Oh, I should be telling you, guys. I'm going to tell you, guys. All right, let's do this right now. And I'll try to remember as we open them. But I did put them in order here. So, who did we open up first? Voldemort? Voldemort was 3C. Then we opened up Slughorn. Slughorn is 2C. Madame Pomfrey is 9C. Umbridge is 7C. And Lupin is 8C. Now, again, I don't know for a fact that these numbers correlate with the wand that's within. But there's a good chance that they do. So, if you're like, I just want Remus Lupin's wand, look for the 8C, if that's what I just said. All right, here we go. Next one. Can we pull six in a row? Give us, uh, let's guess. [00:16:08] Speaker 2: Hmm. [00:16:09] Peter Kenneth: Harry Potter. Oh. We do have a duplicate. And it was 9C. So, I think the numbers correlate with the wand within. All right, our first duplicate. Well, I guess that means that we did mix them up. But slug on a stick, we lost our little run there. All right, here we go. 1, 2, 3. Derivato. Professor Sprout. Oh! Yeah! We need Sprout! Okay, I don't know why I thought we already had Sprout. We needed Professor Sprout. So, now we have six of the wands. Here is her wand. Dun-dun-dun-dun. And she has a bottle of, like, plant food. Magical plant food. Here we go. Let's get her stand and icon out. Boom. Boom. Boom. And we now have six of the wands. Three more wands. Oh, and, uh, Professor Sprout was 4C. Box number 8. Do we have the 7th wand? We do not have the 7th wand. That was 8. This is 9. Wait! 10, 11, 12. We have three chances out of these five boxes. We have to pull two more wands out of three more boxes. Okay, now this is getting scary. Now I'm actually really scared. So, this little rule was meant to be fun, and now I'm terrified. We can do this. Send magic. Two more wands in these three boxes. These next three boxes, we need to pull the last two wands. Oh, boy. [00:17:46] Speaker ?: Come on. Please, please. [00:17:47] Peter Kenneth: Give us... Wait, who do we need? We need... Oh, just Harry and Hermione? We need just Harry and Hermione. Wait. Snape. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6... We have to pull all the remaining wands in these next three boxes. Oh, my goodness. Now I'm, like, really, really scared. If we don't pull one of the three wands that we need, I'm going to change the rules. So, if this is not one of the new wands, let's just find out right now. Are you serious? I mean, we're changing the rules, but I'm actually kind of mad that we just pulled another duplicate. All right. We're changing the rules. We're going to make it 13... Wait. 12. 13. Yeah, we're going to make it 13 wands. All right. We have opened up 10. We have pulled six wands. That's not great, but we're going to pull another one that we need right here. And with the rule change of us now needing to pull all nine out of 13 wands, that gives us another chance. We still have to pull them in the next three boxes. I hate this new rule. How many Madame Pomfries do we need? I am so sad. I really thought we were going to do it. I think this is the first time that we've failed at, like, a mystery wand video. Like, I'm trying to come up with a long way that we can change the rules again. I mean, I could just be like, oh, let's pull them all in 14 boxes, but we may lose that too. I really thought that we were going to pull them. At least in 13 boxes, you know? All right. We'll do it one more time. 14. 14 boxes. Okay. 14 boxes. Can we do it? Not going to be 15 because, duh, we're going to pull them all. No! I'm looking at numbers now. No way. 6, 5, 1. Yeah, these are all the numbers we missed. Really, Voldemort? You had to avoid a cadaver of the game? All right. Well, let's open these up, and then we'll, like, reassess the situation. Well, here. Let's play this game. Let's play the game of, like, whose wand is the number. I mean, one is probably Hermione. That's going to be my guess. Hermione's probably number one because she's featured. So, that's my guess. Hermione, okay. If we can guess two out of the three numbers correctly, then the game and the magical surprise for one of you is reinstated. So, I think pretty good logic, right? That number one would be Hermione's seeing us that she's featured on the front of the wand box. Can we guess two out of the three? Oh, my goodness. But it's two out of three. It's two out of three that we have to guess. So, we have a 50-50 shot because this is Severus Snape. I am failing all kinds of ways, guys. I am trying so hard to make some magic for one of you. So hard. Okay. This was probably our craziest unboxing video with these mystery wands. Oh, cool. His icon is advanced potion making. Here we have Severus Snape's wand stand and his wand. Very classic Snape. I can teach you to be rich the mind and ensnare the senses. Here it is, ready to be displayed on a shelf. And Snape's number, oh, it was number one because remember we thought number one was Hermione. It wasn't. It comes down to these two boxes, guys. One is five C, the other is six C, one is Hermione, and one is Harry. Let's talk through this. My gut is saying five C is Harry and six C is Hermione because Harry and Hermione, Harry, Hermione, but Hermione is also the one who's featured on the front cover. Well, maybe they put her in five C slot and Harry in the six C slot, but it would also make sense that she would be number one, but we know that Snape is number one. So I'm like really torn. It really could be either way. It's like a 50-50 shot. But here we have the numbers five C and six C. I'm going to say six C is Hermione. No. Six C is Harry. Guys, please forgive me. Please forgive me if I get this wrong. I am going to say five C is Hermione because she's featured on the front. And six C is Harry because he is not featured on the front. Oh, this is so stressful. I'm going to open up five C because I feel like we should open up Hermione's wand because she's the one featured on the front. Guys, send magic. Please, please, please send the magic. Let's turn this video around. I've got the flap ready to go. This is five C. So we're saying that this is Hermione. Right? Is that what we said? Yeah. Five C is Hermione. Send magic, guys. One, two, I can't even look. Three. Hermione Ranger! Yes! We did it! You sent the magic! I know, it's so confusing because I changed the rules. It's like crazy and all over the place. But we, like, succeeded kind of. At the last second, we succeeded with the last rule change. We changed the rules so many times. We got Hermione Ranger. Let's open up Harry Potter's wand right now and take a look at it. Oh my goodness, guys, the magic! Thank you for helping turn this video around. Harry Potter. Harry Potter! I cannot believe this. I mean, I can believe it because, like, again, it's like we changed the rules in our favor multiple times. But still, we still succeeded, right? Here's Harry's wand. Oh, we need to look at Hermione's wand. Here's Hermione's wand. I'm going to tell you what the magic gold surprise is after we take a look at these last two wands. My heart feels, like, relaxed now. That was Bedonkers. How can something like this be so stressful? And, oh, it's Felix Felicis for Harry's icon. All right, here is Harry's stand. Dun-dun-ah! With the wand. Dun-dun-ah! This is crazy. I cannot believe that all of these things happened in this video. That we were so unlucky. But! Guys! We made our own luck. All right, so now you know all the numbers. So if you want a specific wand and you see these in Walmart stores, you can be like, I want this one because this wand is Professor Slughorn, you know? So, all right, let's take a look at Hermione's wand as well as her stand. I don't know what her potion is. I'm not sure what that is, actually.
