I FOUND AMAZING VINTAGE TOYS in the fog! And I visited colleague shop Old School Toys

[00:00:00] Speaker 1: It's an early Sunday and we are heading in the early morning mist to Budel, Budel Dorplein is the name of the town to be exact. And they have a community-wide garage sale, so we are very curious in what kind of collectables we might be able to find there. Sabine is behind the wheel as always and Marijke is also with us. So the three of us, we are going hunting for collectables on this garage sale. My name is Eric, I own a collectables shop in the Netherlands. I buy items or even complete collections directly at the shop and sometimes at Marques throughout Europe. I will take you along on these trips. The first stop we make is immediately a good one. She was just putting out the boxes and we spot immediately some ET plush. This big one is like 18 inches or 48 centimeters. Not sure exactly what the maker is. The ET logo is embroidered in blue. And the tag is rather generic. So I'm not sure what he looks vintage, so that's good. The smaller one is the one from Universal Studios. So yeah, happy with those two. And let's see what else we found. Nice find. So yeah, we also found two VHS's of Jurassic World. And the making of Jurassic World, I had it before and it's sold already in the shop. So yeah, good. And on to the next address. We're in Budel Dorklein on a community-wide garage sale. And we're finding some stuff. We're waiting for the cars past. So I've got the soundtrack for Lezanne is in Lezotrim. And Abba's greatest hits. So... [00:03:19] Speaker ?: ... ... ... ... ... [00:03:29] Speaker 1: ... [00:03:31] Speaker ?: ... ... [00:03:35] Speaker 1: ... So it was a mixed bag of stuff. And not that much toys for little children, so that's good. You normally see a lot of baby toys that are very recent. But people also have some vinyl records out. Some have CDs. So we just keep on going from address to address and searching for those collectables. Some we catch the camera, some don't, but I will show you the total hole at the end. ... ... [00:04:48] Speaker ?: ... [00:04:48] Speaker 1: ... ... ... ... ... We found this Footloose CD, soundtracks is always doing great. And this My Little Pony VHS. ... I also bought some Curio just to put in my own house. I'm not going to bother you too much with it, so that's what you see me buying here. In this box, they had Fili Farm. Fili Farm was made by Philips, rather local. So there's a local history to it, and it is a vintage toy, but unfortunately, without its original box, for me, it's not worth picking up, so I leave that for somebody else. Philips tried to compete with Lego back in the 60s, so they made like a construction toy. And that was named Fili Farm. So in this whole box of vinyl, we did find some nice vinyl records. Let me just show you the pile. So these are all the vinyl records that we found. I will test them, make sure that they are good. They will go into the shop, and I will show you that in a pickup video later on, as soon as they are put in the store, okay? So, this is the total score we did on that flea market, on that garage sale, I should say. So, as I've shown you, a couple of Lost World Jurassic Park VHS's. We also found this Dino Rider Dino. Without the rest, unfortunately, but hey, always good to find some Tyco Dino Riders. E.T. Plus, this Asterix guy. I found these two rather late Hasbro. Transformers. The Pippi Puzzle. Some Yu-Gi-Oh! on DVD. My Little Pony VHS. And the music finds. And we also found, it's not here, but I have the remote here. A small television that we will test to see if it works with vintage consoles. And if it does, it will go into the shop as well. So, after the coffee break, we had lunch and then we decided to go to Horst and visit Old School Toys. Let's walk with me. We are going to Old School Toys and we are in Horst.
