Vintage Toys Of The Universe 2026 - Buying and selling there!

[00:00:00] Speaker 1: Hello everybody, we're in Lommel at Vintage Toys of the Universe. It is almost 9 o'clock, so the show will open soon. My name is Eric. I own a collectible shop in the Netherlands. I buy items or even complete collections directly at the shop and sometimes at markets throughout Europe. I will take you along on these trips. Another video from the back office. So do you know what that means? An extra video. Not one of my weekly pickup videos, but we went to a fair. This time, not especially for buying, but for selling. We went to Vintage Toys of the Universe. I heard it is the best toy fair in Belgium, so I had to be there because it was only a half hour drive from my store. So we went there very early to set up our tables. We had three tables and we worked with the three of us to set that up. I had some awesome help from Patrick and from Robbe. So thanks guys for helping me out during the day. It is almost nine o'clock, so the show will open soon and we are set up already. So let's have a look at our booth first and then I will do a round. What did I bring to the fair to sell? I didn't bring very much from the store. Hey, the store was open and I couldn't decide what items exactly to take from the store. So I took a couple of items, but most of all, I decided to do a warehouse sale and tell people about my awesome store. So I brought a lot of loose figures that simply I have no room for in my shop. I brought some of the most collectable lines there. So I am doing a warehouse sale. On this side is everything is ten euros. This is Robbe by the way. Say hi Robbe. Hi Robbe, Robbe is helping me today. You got some games, some amiibos. All kinds. And you got a whole pile of five-year stuff as well. So we got Jurassic Park, Batman, Ghostbuster, Thunderbirds, Star Wars of course, G.I. Joe, Master of the Universe, Turtles, Power Rangers and Transformers. And a whole assortment of stuff. It's all five euros today. And also I brought some key items of course. Put them in the back. So yeah, I think it will be a fun fair. And when the show was just opening or just before opening, I was able to walk around a bit because I was also on the lookout for a couple of things. Of course, I'm seeing if there is anything that is a good buy for my shop. But most importantly, I am always looking for vintage Indiana Jones collectibles for my own collection. So those were the two things that were on my mind. And let's have a look what I found. So the show is almost open and I'm looking for some Indiana Jones collectibles for my own collection. So let's hunt those down. [00:03:57] Speaker 2: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. [00:05:57] Speaker ?: Thank you. [00:06:27] Tjerek Boonstra: Thank you. [00:06:29] Speaker ?: Thank you. [00:06:29] Tjerek Boonstra: Thank you. Thank you. A lot of girly stuff. [00:06:35] Speaker 1: Let's have a look. [00:06:37] Speaker ?: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. So, let's go. [00:07:43] Speaker 1: First purchase of the day, a Gamecube controller, always neat. And the second and third buy, I should say, two more Gamecube controllers. So, yeah, I found some Gamecube controllers. I needed those. If you remember and saw the video when we went to Templu, we had the same thing on our shopping list and I still need more controllers. There are loads of consoles coming in that simply don't have a controller, but more importantly, a lot of you are coming to the store to buy loose controllers. So, I'm always on the hunt for controllers. But, remember, I was also looking for vintage Indiana Jones stuff. Did I find some? Let's have a look. [00:09:15] Tjerek Boonstra: It's the last crusade, so it's... This is, let's say, a self-dunnel, but this is not all we can get. There's more? [00:09:44] Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay. Okay. This is also one of the... Oh yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. A full of... [00:09:51] Tjerek Boonstra: Dunnel. [00:09:52] Speaker 1: Yeah, well, also, I think I'll have to take it. [00:09:56] Tjerek Boonstra: This is the stuff that always gets lost. Thank you. Good. Let's do it. Let's make a deal. Dutch exclusive Albert Heijn. [00:10:07] Speaker 1: So, yeah. Tjerek Boonstra from Bones Art, he hooked me up and I found that very nice display piece for The Last Crusade. [00:10:20] Speaker 2: You have chosen wisely. [00:10:23] Speaker 1: It was a fun fair. It was well organized. The venue is good. And there was a lot of very nice people, which is the most important thing. Will I be there next year? Probably yes. It's good to see everybody again and it was awesome to be there. So, I hope you enjoyed also looking at this small video. It was an extra video as I said, I also do the weekly pickups video where I show what I bought at events or garage sales, but more often I buy things in the shop, of course. And so if you want to see those, then hit that subscribe button. And as always, I want to thank you very much for watching. Stay safe and bye for now. Bye for now.
