HC Sean Payton on Denver’s win over Arizona: ‘It was one of our more complete games’

[0:00] good win obviously on the road uh there'll be a number of things when we look at the tape that [0:05] we feel good about obviously there'll be things we want to clean up any questions [0:14] yeah like look each week different than last week's team you could see these opportunities [0:19] potentially so we were going to be aggressive and um sometimes you call them and the ball goes [0:26] somewhere else um fortunately we had a fair amount of opportunities you know down the field [0:32] what can that kind of yeah i think it's more i think it answers our question can he still run [0:44] i mean we got a match coverage and so it just happened to be a route where we were pushing [0:51] someone to the flat someone on a deep corner someone on a sail the back going that way and [0:57] believe it or not the tight end if you if you watch the all 22 you're going to see a point where he [1:01] climbs and from the center over i think all the eligibles are right and and it wasn't it was more [1:10] of a match coverage so it was good good decision big play um yeah um yeah i thought we had a good [1:22] plan you know relatives to some of the gap schemes um it's a pretty tough unit like we wanted to be [1:31] in a little bit more base personnel someone asked last week about adam prentice and i was you know just [1:36] kind of like you know we're leading into this game where we were going to be in a little bit more 21 [1:42] to keep them out of some of their nickel looks um so that was that was good man it was big that's it's [1:53] it's good you know the obviously the tight ends the threat and uh that last four plays was pretty [2:01] impressive juice you look really good got to get him more touches definitely go ahead listen i think [2:15] for our team offensively all those things um yeah i mean the confidence inside the building relative to [2:28] his abilities hadn't changed at all and i and i appreciate some guys sometimes you're answering [2:33] questions about whether or not and there's not one time where we were he's he's our guy and and [2:40] it was good to see him play well and it was good to see us block well and and make some plays down the [2:45] field pretty impressive you know you're you're just man thankful for the depth those guys stepping up [2:56] chaquan almost had a couple tonight you know he he uh he's got good ball skills and a lot of guys [3:03] played well yeah um listen we're we're in good position um there were a lot of plays that stood [3:16] out you know prentice has the block punt in the third quarter i think it leads to the third touchdown [3:21] um it was one of our more complete games kicking game you know we had a good kick return to start the [3:28] game with mims midfield um yeah a lot of a lot of things i'm sure we'll look at in in in like yeah i saw [3:39] um i wanted i'm never going to criticize the officials you know the the big play to rj i must [3:46] be coaching it wrong you know i mean that's on me then you know i want to see the tape at some point [3:53] i said if you guys are doing your best to tune the tv audience out you know you're on a roll um but [4:02] fortunately we didn't really look at that and we just kept playing go ahead you were thinking of one [4:12] yeah yeah and look um we knew we'd get a lot of zone pressures the fortune the one thing we did [4:23] was we stayed out of some third down because of first and second down explosives so all good it's [4:32] always that way after a win you're just we're just not that close it's always that way after a win okay [4:40] that's it it's always that way after a win after every win we're happy i just said it was a complete [4:46] game next question it was nice yeah yeah it was good why didn't ask me anybody ask me about the dumb [4:58] reverse call that's that would be one of the first calls all right i'm going to answer everyone asked [5:04] the question it was awful all right i'm sorry and i i if you look it up in 2008 in a similar situation [5:13] even a more radical reverse fumbled tampa bay beat us i know better and um every once in a while you fall [5:22] in love with the play and so
