‘EVERYONE in America needs to see this’: Nicolle on Trump advisor’s STUNNING election confession

[0:00] IT'S 4 o'clock in the east and so continues the story of the boy who cried rigged election. [0:06] Donald Trump has asserted over and over and over again without any evidence for nearly six years [0:11] that the 2020 election, which he lost to Joe Biden, was stolen from him. [0:17] He has never and still has not produced any evidence to prove that claim. [0:21] According to Donald Trump, though, that was going to change last night. [0:25] He promised, quote, really big news and finally the smoking gum proof of election interference. [0:31] Yet his 25 minute primetime address lacked any evidence, any details to substantiate the things that have been coming out of his mouth. [0:40] Declassified documents he released showed nothing new. [0:43] And some of the things he released even undercut the things he was saying. [0:47] From The New York Times report, quote, an examination of the more than 270 pages of evidence [0:52] released by the White House supports the broad conclusions already announced in 2020 and 2021, [0:59] albeit with some finer details. [1:01] For example, China considered modest attempts to influence opinion in the U.S. [1:06] and downloaded publicly available voter rolls from several states, [1:10] but never manipulated a single voting machine or ballot. [1:14] One document was very blunt, saying, quote, [1:16] quote, we assessed that vote tabulation systems would be difficult to manipulate on a wide enough scale [1:21] to compromise election results. [1:23] The one finding of actual evidence in our intel of election interference [1:30] that Trump revealed last night in his document dump shows that it was Russia who meddled in Donald Trump's favor. [1:37] Now, for all of Trump's bluster and lies and production last night, [1:45] we can take it to mean one thing, that emotionally and psychologically, [1:50] he's still not over losing to President Joe Biden. [1:53] And two, he is, if we trust the pattern, likely to repeat these claims of fraud [1:59] ahead of and beyond the November midterms, [2:02] where he and his party, if you look at every single poll available, [2:06] are poised to lose big time. [2:07] The bottom line of no substance from last night's spectacle [2:11] was underscored by Trump's most intimate advisor on this specific topic [2:18] in a quick interaction with John Solomon after the speech. [2:23] So Solomon is this conservative reporter who has publicly questioned the findings [2:27] of the 2016 Russia investigation. [2:30] He was recently hired by the White House to serve as a special government employee. [2:34] But he said this to our colleague Von Hilliard. [2:37] Did you acknowledge that there were no votes changed in 2020? [2:42] All I can acknowledge is what the intelligence shows, right? [2:44] I only know. [2:45] The intelligence community has zero evidence that someone has flipped, [2:48] that a foreign power flipped a vote in 2020, 22 or 24. [2:52] You're able to acknowledge that Venezuela has not tampered with voting machines in the United States? [2:55] No. [2:56] The intelligence is very clear. [2:59] They did it on their own machines. [3:00] Why is it important that they did it on their machines? [3:02] Their machine protocols are the same as America. [3:05] So why? [3:05] Because for a long time they did it on their own machines. [3:07] And so the 2020 election was in fact the results as we, the American public... [3:13] I'm still researching. [3:14] So let me, let me, this is the first... [3:15] But there's no intelligence. [3:16] You've got to get... [3:18] There is no intelligence that the election... [3:20] So the whole reason for last night's speech was the opposite of what John Solomon blurts out there, [3:31] Devon Hilliard. [3:59] But I start with some of the most important journalism of the last six years. [4:05] Von Hilliard, what you got Mr. Solomon to say on camera. [4:08] Explain how you did that. [4:09] Hand-picked Donald Trump-appointed special government employee just one month ago at the White House. [4:17] Finds his way onto the White House North Lawn after that speech last night [4:21] and publicly stated that Donald Trump lost the 2020 election. [4:26] There were no votes that were changed. [4:28] To say, Nicole, that I was stunned by the admission, I think would be an understatement. [4:32] But I think it hits and cracks at the heart of the fact that these are the folks [4:37] who have had their hands on this raw intelligence material. [4:41] The same material that people like John Radcliffe, the CIA director, and Tulsi Gabbard had their hands on for 16 months. [4:46] And, hey, as I was told by sources, if there was information to reveal that Donald Trump had lost the 2020 election, [4:52] they would have released it to the public. [4:55] And last night was their best bet and their best effort to try to do it. [4:58] And John Solomon, in kind of a wild turn of events, publicly stated there that that was just not the reality, [5:05] completely undercutting the pledge by Donald Trump that these Democrats were crooked as hell. [5:11] And there was, over the last five and a half years, he wasn't going around the country saying there was a covert influence operation [5:18] by, you know, foreign governments to undermine his candidacies. [5:22] He had said that the election was stolen, that there was fraud, [5:25] and that votes were changed and interfered with. [5:27] And what we have last night was a direct admission from his hand-picked employee [5:31] that that is just not reality and that's never been the case. [5:34] Let me play this again. [5:37] Everyone in America needs to see this. [5:41] Do you acknowledge that there were no votes changed in 2020? [5:44] All I can acknowledge is what the intelligence shows, right? [6:38] I know from your time at the White House, they're called Wranglers. [6:41] Essentially, they help cabinet officials that are making their way from on the driveway there [6:46] around the White House grounds. [6:47] And she was the one that was moving him along there in real time. [6:53] Was he doing other interviews? [6:54] He did an interview initially with CBS, and then I believe he was heading over to Newsmax, [7:02] I believe was the next outlet. [7:03] But that was where we had that brief opportunity for that interaction. [7:07] And I got to say, we don't have that many opportunities in our interactions as much these [7:12] days, and we're limited. [7:15] MSNOW, we haven't been welcomed into the Oval Office since our separation from NBC. [7:21] And so our opportunities to see some of these officials are very limited. [7:25] I will say that MSNOW's reporting has been repeatedly cited by folks that were even cheering [7:33] on the idea that there was mass conspiracy and fraud. [7:38] In the 2020 election, we had been reporting about the intelligence that the president had [7:44] available to him. [7:45] I was told, for example, Nicole, that the president had intelligence related to China's influence [7:53] campaign, and that there were deliberations that had been an intelligence community for [7:58] the last year and a half, and that the president was aware of the influence efforts of China [8:03] dating back to 2025, and notably dating back to earlier this year before he went to China [8:08] in May and met with President Xi and called him a true friend. [8:11] And so we heard last night the president suggests that, right, this was a mass undertaking by [8:18] this foreign government in China. [8:21] But at the same time, he was aware of this intelligence, and the White House was before [8:25] he went to that trip to China. [8:29] Mark Elias, there are about 4,000 things to ask you about. [8:32] But first, on the bombshell confession from John Solomon, that, quote, there were no votes [8:38] flipped in 22—he does it in this weird order—2022, 2020, 2024, and that Venezuela did not [8:46] interfere, no foreign government interfered in the U.S. election of 2020. [8:51] Yes, Donald Trump lost the 2020 election. [8:54] There were no votes flipped. [8:55] We know that. [8:56] We knew that before John Solomon said it. [8:59] I agree. [8:59] It is a surprise, and kudos to the reporting here to get John Solomon to say it on the record. [9:05] The woman who was charged with wrangling him, you could tell, was like she was dying inside. [9:10] She's like, I am somehow responsible for this mess. [9:13] Let me get him out of here. [9:14] But the fact is, there were no votes flipped. [9:17] We knew this before. [9:19] There were recounts. [9:20] For example, in the state of Georgia, there was a hand recount, any machine recount, [9:23] and nothing turned up that there was anything irregular that went on. [9:27] What we have to pay attention to, though, Nicole, is the second part of the speech, [9:32] and particularly right before he gets to the SAVE Act, when Donald Trump pivots from this [9:38] nothing burger of misinformation and lies to saying that he now needs to fix the elections and that he is [9:45] going to have the government scrub the voter rolls. [9:48] And we saw today the Secretary of Homeland Security ratchet up the pressure once again [9:54] to get access to the sensitive voter data that these states have. [9:59] It is also not—should not be lost on people that the Department of Justice lost their 16th lawsuit today, [10:06] just before we came on air, this time in Connecticut. [10:08] They are now 0 for 16 in getting that data. [10:10] But you and I have been talking for months about the frantic efforts of this administration [10:17] to access these voter files so that they can remove voters from it, remove U.S. citizens from it. [10:24] And I will—I believe, as strongly as I sit here, that what they are trying to do is remove Democrats [10:29] from the rolls so that they can gain an advantage and make up the deficit they have this fall.
