[0:00] here we go this is it this is what we've all been waiting for you good would you like to share with [0:07] us a little bit about yourself and read your opening statement okay i didn't write one so [0:14] read it just say it out loud from my heart okay um my name is jimmy west i'm a mother of three [0:22] uh they're all grown children they're all pretty successful i'm proud of them [0:26] um i own a cleaning business called queen bee's cleaning llc because i am an environmentalist [0:33] i do that's why i named it that and i am a gig worker i deliver a lot of groceries and packages [0:40] for my community so if you trust me you know delivering your groceries you should trust me with [0:46] your vote you know you know i mean come on but um i'm here because i have been going to the state [0:57] house for years fighting this legislation that goes through what's legislation what's what's [1:06] legislation what is that the new thing in the government there i i imagine what happened is [1:14] she was nervous she probably took a drink or two before she went out there right and a pill apparently [1:19] a pill or something too maybe yeah don't don't you know she might be a good person she's probably not [1:25] a good person to serve in public office if her if her decision making skills landed her on a tv [1:31] interview wasted like wasted you know i would like to know man i thought i'd like to find out that's [1:46] a good question did she drive herself home from this interview that's a good question is she there [1:52] at the studio by herself did she drive herself to the studio i would really like to know that that [1:57] could be a that could be a campaign crusher senate bill one dale strong mentioned that and how much [2:04] it hurts our communities it doubled so many people's property taxes only about one or two percent of all [2:13] of hoosiers benefited from it and it harmed our communities our rural communities especially our schools [2:22] and our i love the schools i'm total supporter of the schools and the teachers but our emergency services [2:30] are the ones that wait did she just say our merch services services the support of the schools [2:38] and the teachers but our emergency services are the ones that we really need to worry about [2:46] and i spoke to the connersville chief of police i'm sorry fireman the fire chief today oh man what scott jones [2:55] go ahead and try to pause if it's not okay okay pause i have second hand embarrassment [3:06] maybe maybe maybe she's not drunk i don't know i don't know i'm not trying to hate on everybody look [3:15] i don't hate this woman because she wants to vote no there's no hate here i don't hate her because [3:20] she hates me because i'm a well i'm i'm a conservative but she's i'm republican in her eyes right i don't [3:26] hate her because she hates me because of that i am laughing at her because of the ridiculousness of [3:33] her wanting to run for office that's all it is do it okay go ahead that's what meg sounded like when [3:41] he was high with the convoy truckers cool that was the third comment to finally youtube allowed it [3:54] oh first two they were really trying to get that one out there really oh they must be super super [3:59] ecstatic that i put it on the screen then it was not yeah it was not worded the same way that's [4:03] like that 15 minutes of fame sorry tammy that's good as you spend it on that one i haven't drank in [4:10] like eight years and i didn't get high with convoy truckers and i i wasn't part of the convoy so strike [4:18] one two three you're out much like this lady also very worried about what will happen to the fire [4:24] stations and you might need to get a clear cleanups out man it makes me sad what the republicans in [4:31] the state house have done to our rural communities and uh he told me that if we don't do something [4:44] different which means elect me to me it means elect me voting for democrats [4:52] we will lose one of our firehouses he doesn't know which one yet by 2029 we're gonna lose it [4:58] are you okay with that i'm not that might be the best comment so far that i have secondhand [5:04] embarrassment that's pretty good that's really good i want to see if anyone can anyone top that come on [5:10] come on i know people got some funny comments it's okay to make fun this is where shame helps [5:17] right so this is a good example where i say shame is a good thing right so like if there wasn't any shame [5:24] then she's gonna go home from this interview and think oh this is cool i knocked it out the park [5:27] everything's great no regrets but if there's shame she'll go home she'll go oh man i messed up tonight [5:36] i gotta work harder at not being such a drunk on tv that'll be my goal let me write that down don't [5:43] be such a drunk on tv interviews all right and kay payton who was just here she must be the opponent [5:55] i was at a town hall meeting with her and lieutenant governor whoever she is and she's the opponent [6:00] she's backstage loving this her backward and she groveled to him for emergency service money [6:11] and he looked at her and he's like oh i'll look into it and then two minutes later said we don't have [6:18] enough money for your emergency services but we have enough money to do the redistricting which we fought [6:25] and won and uh you know so i've been fighting at the stay house for years for our community on my own dime [6:36] our local representatives have not you know parking is expensive driving is expensive going and have to [6:44] face your elected leaders face to face is scary alone i need help you know and um i need help i need help [6:58] i need help i need help i need help i need help you know and uh in all seriousness she might she might [7:08] need help you know i'm an alcoholic i haven't drank almost eight seven years so whatever i forget lose [7:13] track so i don't mean to be i'm not compassionate it's okay to laugh go ahead beth i was just gonna say [7:22] she if she really is the only one speaking up in her local community she does need help yes she does need [7:28] help yes is she the one that should be in office i i don't know about that i don't know i don't know [7:34] about that again she may have just had a couple drinks before she went into the interview and it [7:39] just didn't go well who knows maybe she's got a five-year period before that where she was great but [7:46] my lord we are only three minutes into this 10 minute interview [7:52] my opening statement i'm a fighter and you ought to vote for me well jamie you mentioned um sea1 and the um [8:01] how it is affecting fayette county so let me ask you our first question which is would you recommend [8:07] a local income tax increase to cover funding loss from sea1 did they didn't they already do that [8:15] though didn't they already raise their income taxes because a lot of counties did and i thought fayette [8:21] county did they didn't do did they did the full three percent because union county didn't do they want the [8:29] 2.67 they didn't want to go to three percent and that was last september and i don't want to see [8:38] anybody's taxes get raised i want the legislation the state legislators we have a surplus i want to see [8:46] then give that money back to their communities because we've paid we've paid enough in taxes okay [8:54] moving on to our next question and that is if you could choose only one major area for fayette county [9:00] to invest more money in over the next four years roads and infrastructure public safety economic [9:06] development quality of life or another find out where she wants to spend your money let's see area [9:14] which would you choose and why that's my sleep okay never mind decision to make because there's so [9:19] many that we need but i would choose our emergency services i would choose the firemen the police [9:26] the ambulances i mean because who are you who are you going to call when you're in trouble you know [9:36] you need them they're my top priority is the emergency services the firemen the police [9:44] and the ambulance services i mean oh my gosh she needs one she needs one now and then our [9:50] infrastructure i don't know why we have the worst roads in the whole country when we pay a pretty good [9:57] deal in wheel tax i think it's i know why but i don't want to say why because it might offend people [10:04] but yeah it would definitely be our emergency services if she had mad dog 2020 she'd be slinging on [10:13] somebody mad dog 2020 really makes you mad man we used to drink that when i was in the military we [10:20] used to drink something called mad gin it's 50 mad dog and 50 gin it was amazing kind of in a weird way [10:33] you feel fayette county needs to do differently to attract new businesses and where should the county [10:39] council invest its limited resources to make that happen definitely not data centers they're horrible for [10:46] the environment they will take they they want it because we got this amazing county is on an aquifer [10:56] which means that we have a lake beneath us miles beneath us where we have so much water and the data [11:06] centers want that water man so they can push it into their data set their cooling centers and cool it off [11:17] and then dump it back into yeah this needs is one of those um unnecessary censorship things where you [11:25] just bleep words you know i mean it would work really well the rivers and the lakes that we all cherish [11:32] and you know who wants to go swimming or go fishing or go enjoy the environment when you have all these [11:41] pollutants and chemicals and whatnot in there i mean you're gonna fish you're gonna have wildlife that [11:51] just escapes i mean the hunters the fishermen you should all not be happy with this at all the data [11:59] centers gotta go absolutely not well you're leading me into our next did you see that at the end she was [12:09] like absolutely not absolutely like under her breath no i did not you're gonna have poison fish you're [12:17] gonna have wildlife that just escapes i mean the hunters the fishermen you should all all not be happy [12:26] with this at all the data centers gotta go absolutely not well you're leading me into our next question [12:34] which is actually would you support a data county absolutely not what would you have right before you [12:41] could support the project if if an ai dentist center center wanted to build here then they would have to pay [12:47] for do you think that any ai data center high paid uh lawyer is gonna be uh worried or nervous or concerned [13:00] or even interested in any kind of a negotiation with this lady do you think they're gonna be rubbing their [13:08] hands together because they're gonna walk out of there with whatever they want escaping wildlife yeah [13:14] i caught that one too i noticed that too escaping wildlife where exactly do they escape from yeah [13:22] they escape from nature yeah this is like what there was a bunch of uh of good clips from um [13:32] from some of these little debates over the the last week i i didn't have time to put them together but [13:36] that lady and uh i can't think of her name that obnoxious um district or attorneys general letitia james [13:46] she had a horrible debate she got destroyed in her debate i i recommend watching and if you have [13:52] any interest in that all of our firemen not the fire the volunteer thank you volunteer firemen [13:59] you don't even get paid thank you everton um what they would have to pay for all of their salaries all [14:07] of their equipment they'd have to give scholarships to every kid that graduates from connersville high [14:15] school they'd have to pay for all of our new sewer system and our water lines they'd have to they'd [14:22] have to pay for all of our new infrastructure they'd have to make sure that they did it the cleanest way [14:27] possible by using solar power i mean that is the only way that i would let them in they'd have to pay [14:32] every resident here at least ten thousand dollars a year we could make it happen they have the money [14:40] they're the richest companies in the world yeah and we are letting them just stomp all over us [14:46] we're not all stupid just this one and that's what i have just me okay and our last question of the [14:53] night is if elected what is one decision that you expect to make that may be unpopular with some voters [15:00] but you believe ultimately would be in the best interest of faith read a drum roll for this one [15:05] i want to raise your taxes um what is the one decision that i would make hmm repeat that again [15:17] what is the one decision that i would make that might not be popular right that may be unpopular [15:21] with some voters with some voters but is in the best interest of the county i'm sorry before we watch [15:26] this just so you can you can weigh this in i was just doing a little what you call research oh remind [15:36] me i gotta play that one video uh she did a follow-up interview in a follow-up interview with the local [15:43] news examiner she said quote well honestly i did drink a coars light before i went in there see she [15:56] denied drugs or medications that would impair her so she had a she described the manner of speaking as [16:07] just how jamie is oh wait a second she denied drugs and medications that would impair her and [16:15] attribute attributed the slurred speech to a 2020 traumatic brain injury which she said affected her [16:22] speech for weeks afterward wait a second wait a second wait a second wait a second wait a second [16:36] she she said she did she attributed the slurred speech to a 2020 traumatic brain injury she [16:46] slipped 2020 traumatic brain injury which she said affected her speech for weeks afterwards [16:58] weeks this is like a comeback it's like uh biden stuttering all of a sudden came back is that what [17:02] this is what the hell what the heck all right let's finish this out all republicans i wouldn't let them [17:16] i mean i don't even talk to him i don't like them i mean they voted against our own state representative [17:25] voted against her own party i mean what do you want me to say i don't like being around them i mean [17:35] y'all did this to us you all voted for us you made this happen this ice coming into our communities [17:43] stealing people's jobs i mean i've been threatened so many times to my face [17:52] by mega because there's republicans who i've actually get it you know there there are good [18:04] republicans out there but then there she's i bet i had to pull the window up i was trying oh [18:13] sapphire said stealing jobs i was thinking the same way who's stealing jobs wait a minute what but then [18:18] when she said i've been threatened and i'm thinking were you nice and calm and peaceful before that because [18:24] this is way more than one course like course light is like water yeah that is the beer that i used to [18:29] drink when i did drink beer and it was like water are you calling her a liar i am calling you can't do [18:36] that nowadays you can't call people lies you have to take about their word no matter what allegedly one [18:40] cord's light but allegedly it was more than one corpse oh lord but i bet she wasn't super peaceful and [18:47] innocent on the way to whatever kind of comments she was getting back let's finish this one maggots who are just [18:53] racist and aren't very intelligent at all they call you names my sheriff's nephew trying to blow my head [19:05] off but you know what are you gonna do well that brings us to um your opportunity to um say just a [19:13] few last words to um to the voters we have guns too all right well as a reminder the general election is [19:25] november look at look at her face we have guns too we have guns too
