[0:00] uh any questions thank you so much um well you have a lot of upcoming republican rallies you're [0:08] heading to oklahoma you're heading to alabama ohio what is your message to voters heading into [0:13] the midterms we have great people and we're running against uh communists lunatics socialists [0:19] we're running against people that are going to open up the water we have we have a board that [0:23] just came out 17 months in a row we have no people coming in zero which is hard to believe even but [0:29] that's what it is i don't put out the numbers and we have a strong border we have the best economy [0:36] the biggest investment in the history of our country think of that 21 trillion dollars is being [0:41] invested uh with china it's three trillion with biden from the last it was a half a trillion for [0:49] four years it would have been negative or 21 trillion the biggest amount in history and that [0:56] money is building plants like today i don't know this number is a big number 18 18 billion dollars [1:03] i don't even think we're including that number but we have 21 trillion dollars being invested in our [1:09] country we have the highest number of jobs in the history of the united states of america we have the [1:16] best crime numbers in the history of our country despite the fact that they allowed 25 million people [1:22] many of whom were criminals into our country we have the best uh murder it's not a nice thing to [1:28] say but the murders are lower than at any time since 1900 so we have the best crime numbers we have [1:35] the best economic numbers uh we have iran we'll never have a nuclear weapon we're going to win that war [1:41] very soon that'll be over and the gases gas prices will come tumbling down so nobody else could have done [1:49] that nobody else if the democrats took in the border will be opened immediately and you have millions [1:55] of people pouring through just like it was before that's the most horrible thing i've ever seen yeah [2:01] please daniel two questions on steel if that's okay why was it so important for you to establish [2:07] fully integrated american supply chain the raw materials like steer steel and iron iron specifically from [2:14] a national security perspective why was it so important for you to do well because we have a [2:18] military that's very powerful and there are certain products you have to make steel is one of them [2:23] you need it for your planes your army tanks you need it you know we have a lot of problems we have a lot [2:28] of a lot of things we don't have to make ourselves but when it comes to national security i would say [2:34] steel is number one on your list steel aluminum big aluminum plant coming i told you big one beautiful [2:41] great people also but if we don't make it ourselves we don't really we we can't defend ourselves [2:49] we can't call up another nation say we want to build 2 000 army tanks and we have no steel could [2:56] we get some we'll call china do you mind giving us some steel to build army tanks i don't think [3:02] doesn't work that by the way we had a great meeting with president xi i would say i would rate it as a [3:08] on the scale of zero to 10 i would rate it at 12. very respectful very good great meeting so you know [3:16] steel in particular but other things too we want to make them uh medicine coming back they're all [3:22] coming back hundreds of billions of dollars of plants are being built eli lily is spending billions [3:30] merck pfizer they're all coming back and we learned that during covet we didn't make anything [3:37] now we'll make it at all they're all coming back at record numbers so thank you for the question [3:41] that's right mr president is a question on the steel project is there any federal money going to [3:46] it and is it a done deal or is it contingent on certain tax breaks within iowa yeah it's a deal [3:52] where we're doing very little we're just it's a great site it's very important it's a phenomenal site [3:59] and it's phenomenal people they're going to have and that's the biggest thing uh howard do you want [4:03] to answer that question or either one of you guys so my partner chairman of ex-im bank they helped [4:09] finance the mine right to produce that but then these gentlemen from sr they are going to build the [4:17] plant so it's private money uh is going to build the steel plant but ex-im bank drove and assisted in [4:25] the mine a portion of it but helped launch that project is it contingent on tax breaks within iowa [4:32] no i think this deal is done this deal is done they've already worked it out that's why we're [4:36] all together with the president the president doesn't bring people together unless it's a done [4:40] deal you guys know that already they've already started building and you're talking about a [4:46] tremendous you know think of it if you build a 10 million dollar building it's big 50 million is quite [4:51] big 500 million is really big 18 billion dollars they're spending from outside money and all from the [5:01] highest sources most respected people anywhere in the world it's pretty amazing [5:07] mr president two questions one on uh iran and then one on iowa i'll start with iowa though [5:12] sir you won iowa by 13 points some of the polling though for some of the races right now in the [5:19] senate and also some of the house races a little closer much closer in fact why are republicans do you [5:25] think having to work so hard to hold on to the seats i don't know i love iowa i've always been [5:30] very strong with iowa there's been some things that the democrats have done that are very bad for [5:38] our country you know they had high prices i've reduced the prices but they like to say affordability [5:44] but they're the ones that caused the affordability problem they're the ones that caused all of these [5:49] problems and they were unwilling to stop iran from having a nuclear weapon they said let somebody [5:54] is of course i could say that about many people we have stopped them from having they've never [5:59] happened to play a weapon and they understand that and they're willing to say that but um i'm surprised [6:05] i first of all the polls are fake that uh when you see somebody like ashley one of the greatest [6:14] politicians you'll see it one of the greatest she'll be one of the greatest politicians in america going [6:20] to be highly respected and she is highly respected she's going to be representing iowa in the senate [6:25] she's going to bring back a lot of money for iowa you know iowa is uh is a state that likes money [6:32] coming back into it if you put these people in there you're not going to bring back any money these [6:37] people all every one of them uh they bring a lot of money back to iowa that helps with ethanol and [6:43] other things many other things and i know ashley well and she will be a tremendous success as a [6:52] senator she's going to bring a lot of goodies back to iowa which iowa needs uh i think the polls are an [6:59] anchor because i want it by so much and it doesn't make sense that they wouldn't be right up there with [7:03] me and really quickly sir on the arrests in the uk there's five suspects that were arrested it was [7:08] just released on bail what's your reaction to that and is this connected to iraq might be but uh i [7:15] will tell you i would have said don't let them have bail cashless bail i wonder is it cashless bail i [7:23] guess that was one of the problems that we had which started the whole mess of crime and we're ending [7:29] cashless bail but over there i'm surprised that they released them i wouldn't have done that look [7:35] they've been very good they worked with us very closely uh we know everything about them we would [7:41] not have released them so you said might be iran might be can you elaborate on that i'd rather not [7:47] i mean i know the answer i can be very specific but i'd rather not say but uh i would not have released [7:53] them has your team still going to go around today yeah they have they have for mediators yeah anything [8:00] else you can share about uh a movement of your own talks we're going to win as far as i'm concerned [8:07] it's going to be one way or the other it's going to be it's going to go pretty quickly two questions [8:12] for you mr president one on this announcement and one on the state visit that you had last week on this [8:16] announcement last year you also announced that there will be a steel plant that will be set up in [8:23] southern louisiana here you have this steel plant that's being set up in in iowa is there any concern [8:31] that these deals may go away if there's a change in the house or the senate or a change no because [8:37] we've given them documents that will you know really it won't matter who's in office you have to do that [8:43] they're putting up 18 billion dollars you know if if i'm not here and somebody less friendly is going [8:49] to be here that person that's less friendly will have no choice but to allow them to build they [8:55] will you know they're very they're great businessmen among the best in the world they're not going to be [8:59] putting up with that so they have guarantees that what they bargained for to put up all of that money [9:05] all of that tremendous wealth uh it'll be a hundred percent and then on the state visit yesterday on [9:12] fox news sunday ambassador to china uh purdue said that you suggested to president xi that the u.s [9:20] would sell u.s military equipment to china is that accurate did you make such a suggestion to china [9:27] to china you mean to taiwan no to china that's what he said i never heard of that one i'm going to have [9:32] to ask him you mean we're going to sell now they probably like to buy it because we do make better [9:37] equipment than that so maybe it's a good idea but uh we didn't discuss that they may have been [9:44] talking about uh one i think he probably was talking about mr president uh two questions one for the [9:49] investors i would like to know if in this project as you know africa is a very rich continent that can [9:55] pretty much supply things for this project are you considering to import some of the materials for [10:01] this version from african country like congo and angola can also pretty much supply absolutely [10:08] most of the critical materials that are required for this project will be [10:12] sourced from america itself within the u.s there are some materials like manganese that may need to [10:17] be imported for making and refining the highest quality steel so that is something that is not [10:22] necessarily available in the u.s so we will be looking at global sourcing for those materials until [10:27] later there so africa is one of them it is absolutely possible and mr president on the [10:32] she loves africa she always asks about if she never talks about any other place that's the way it [10:39] should be right good job mr president another question on drc rwanda you among many other administrations [10:48] so for the last four administration you're the only one who started doing something to end the war [10:53] 30 years working in drc congo so you did already your part you bring both president president kagam [11:00] and president to the white house they signed the peace agreement but rwanda still violating are you [11:06] planning to take still exactly yeah we're going to stop it if there is a violation we know about it [11:11] we ended the war with congo and rwanda and they both signed and they both agreed so well look i just [11:17] heard about it a little while ago we're gonna if there's a problem we'll stop yeah mr president i just [11:23] came from drc i was there a month ago and i witnessed again rwanda still killing a lot of congolese [11:30] mr president if you can and you witnessed it yes mr president and i have evidence how is ebola how is [11:38] ebola going oh ebola is under control i i spoke with the world director of the world health organization [11:45] and he says it's under control but still the country needs some help to fight [11:49] it does but the biggest problem is the war i'll make sure it works there that's what i do [11:56] i'll make sure things work out okay good job you're doing it i want to ask you about this this [12:01] project as well as canadian trade if i could on this project um the production is 2030 when could we [12:07] see significant jobs with this production i think immediately because they're going to start [12:11] construction construction jobs you're going to have a lot of construction six thousand this is a massive [12:17] plant and six thousand jobs in that area it's a great area of iowa but it's been sort of left [12:23] behind for a lot of wrong reasons right so i think you're going to have at least six thousand construction [12:30] jobs and on almost immediately on canadian trade tomorrow uh you're going to have a ban of certain [12:35] items with canada to the united states can you still have a trade deal or an agreement with canada [12:40] or could more items be added to that list well they want to have a deal with us they call us all the [12:45] the time the problem is that they've treated the united states very unfairly they have been one of [12:50] the worst countries in the entire world you know we get along with china we get along with the people [12:55] and we make good deals but canada's been really very difficult to deal with actually they've and [13:02] they've charged our farmers 400 percent tariffs and more and they uh they take advantage of us they feel [13:10] entitled and you know they get 95 95 of the business they do they do with the united states with us it's [13:19] a tiny fraction of that number it's not a big number at all and yet uh you know we give them military we [13:26] give them icebreakers they want icebreakers we work with them we buy icebreakers we we have a lot of [13:33] them we have 11 of them right now under construction and they want to know if they can use our icebreakers so [13:38] many things and they feel entitled and you know they're not a state uh there's nothing they have [13:45] that we need we have more energy than they have we have all the lumber you could possibly use we have [13:51] everything we have you don't need and they have to treat our country with respect they've been very [13:58] very bad to our farmers in particular so how do you get to the queen would you say that's true peter [14:02] do you want to say something about that aluminum farming dairy is crazy triple digits on the dairy [14:08] tariffs and the the problem and those we've had sir is those tariffs are as high as like 400 [14:16] sometimes peter go ahead yeah it's just i go back to the first term sir dealing with the canadians they [14:22] were the most difficult and arrogant of the traders it's like the canadian people are wonderful but they [14:27] cheat us on just about everything they can lumber aluminum steel dairy down the list and then they [14:36] the worst part now is they're getting in bed with china trying to play china against us and they're [14:41] giving away their country and they like to beat up on donald trump i think politically that works [14:47] the only people who get hurt by that is the people of canada and many many people are going into [14:53] canada right now from other parts of the world and it's not a good situation they're coming in [14:57] totally unchecked totally unvetted i don't know what candidates so mr president how does this happen [15:04] how does this end mr president i think what's going to happen is over the next three or four weeks [15:11] they're going to come to us and they're going to say we're going to get rid of all the tariffs [15:15] we're going to win everything we even have lake ontario is now lake america and that's been done by the [15:24] the way that it actually just got done they told me it was just completed but um they're going to come [15:31] in and they're going to say sir we are sorry they've treated the united states very very badly [15:39] i think a deal will be made but it's going to be a fair deal [15:44] mr president midterm elections less than four weeks away should motorists should truckers expect elevated gas [15:52] diesel prices between now and then when the war ends two things are going to happen number the one [15:58] thing already is has happened it's iran will never have a nuclear weapon that's a very big thing because [16:04] if you want to see turmoil and a travesty let them take out a city with a nuclear weapon i'm not only [16:12] talking about israel and and big parts of the middle east but let them hit us with a nuclear weapon [16:18] for all those stupid people that think it's okay i deal with them and they are crazy there's no question [16:23] about they are very crazy people i tell them that all the time i said you're crazy man but um they [16:31] cannot have a nuclear weapon and to be us but we're the we're the most powerful country in the world by far we have the [16:50] best military equipment in the world and by the way we're building more equipment now than at any time in [16:55] the history of our country we have no choice but to do that the great defense companies are opening [17:00] up i mean lockheed's building five uh raytheon's building many they're all building a lot [17:07] we have more equipment coming now than at any time in the history of our country and [17:11] it'll soon really start to come because these plants are going to start to open [17:15] but we're doing well look as a country we're doing really well the the press is not nobody hears that [17:22] we have more people working today than at any time in our country's history nobody hears we have [17:27] the best poverty numbers in history we have the best poverty meaning the lowest we have the best [17:33] poverty numbers nobody hears that individuals are making more money per capita per individual [17:40] than at any time nobody hears about your 401k so we've had 82 record stock stock days on all the [17:49] exchanges 82 in a little more than a year and a half right and people don't hear that nobody hears [17:57] that your 401ks you mostly have 401ks right check your 401ks you're up double in one year and nobody [18:07] talks about that nobody talks about the border i can't even talk about it my people are sure nobody [18:12] cares about them i got elected because of the border and now because it's so good my one of my people's [18:19] fantastic center sir the people don't about all these you know everything [19:13] uh under biden you paid much more for gasoline than they're paying now and what i did is i went to [19:20] war to stop the one of it could be one of the worst things that could ever happen to the world to us but [19:28] to the world israel would be wiped out right now there would be no israel there'd be no middle east and [19:35] then the rockets and the bombs would start coming our way and europe's way and i stopped it and this [19:41] gentleman is spending 18 billion dollars in iowa he would say i'm going to take a pass on the united [19:46] states i'm not going to spend 18 because we would have a lunatic and a lunatic country running uh [19:54] running around with nuclear weapons because the power is so great but nobody talks about
