[0:00] does. Marcus Thuram for Di Marco. He's done it again against Napoli. Last season's free kick

[0:34] the opening goal here in an even more significant match against the league champions. Ghilardi
[0:48] breaking forward. It's his cut back and Solé makes it two. They had to wait a while for the
[0:55] first. They've not been made to wait long for the second and having teed up the first, Solé scores
[1:02] the second and surely seals the points. Hoyland wins the header. Venti Lorenzo, Locatelli, Jonathan
[1:16] David. He's got it! Jonathan David finds the net in the big game for Juventus. That's what they've
[1:26] been waiting for.
[1:28] That's what he's been waiting for. And finally the goals have started to come on a regular basis.
[1:47] Freuler, good work. Fabian, Castro and Campiaghi. What a save by Boutet.
[2:17] Voivode with the cross. Lovely ball in. Menoise there not once but twice to keep out Takunya.
[2:23] You guys to tell each other finally one more time how this plays out. Moses,
[2:43] can you tell him directly how it plays out?
[2:47] Round eight knockout.
[2:49] Round eight.
[2:50] Round eight knockout.
[2:51] You know, I think I'm going to get the decision. You know, a unanimous decision. If I get the
[2:57] knockout, I get it. But, you know, a win is a win.
[2:59] It's boring. It's boring.
[3:03] Why is it boring?
[3:04] It's a unanimous decision. Like, boxing is opinionated. So, it's just boring. Everybody
[3:11] comes. Everybody wants to watch heavyweights to get a knockout.
[3:14] Yeah. It's just I ain't that hard. I ain't that easy to drop. So, you know.
[3:18] I know.
[3:19] It's a challenge.
[3:20] I know.
[3:22] But, yeah, I think I'll pull it out.
[3:25] No doubts in my mind.
[3:26] None?
[3:27] I'm very confident, man.
[3:30] Okay. Okay. All right. Handshake, gents. Good luck to both of you.
[3:34] When this fight was made, everyone said, puncher, brawler. Do you expect to knock out Deontay
[3:44] Wilder? Do you think you can knock out Deontay Wilder?
[3:46] You can knock anybody out. But I've never been in a position to knock people out. I'm
[3:53] just in a position to just drown people.
[3:56] Do you expect to drown him?
[3:57] I'm going to drown him. That's one thing I know.
[4:01] That's what you do.
[4:02] That's what I do.
[4:04] You know, because I know for a fact he will not train the way I train. I'm going to drown
[4:09] him. I'm going to hit him.
[4:11] Everywhere.
[4:12] Everywhere.
[4:12] You know I'm a certified scuba diver, right?
[4:14] Yeah. Scuba diving and being fit is...
[4:18] I can free dive as well.
[4:20] Can you?
[4:21] Yeah.
[4:22] Jesus.
[4:24] So, I'm in for a long night. Now I have to knock him out. Now I have to knock him out.
[4:31] Now I didn't want to knock him out, but now I have to.
[4:33] I'm not one of those black guys that can't swim.
[4:35] Jesus.
[4:36] Yeah, man. It's a beautiful world under there.
[4:41] Thomas Dietrich can really do himself a favor with a great shot here.
[4:46] It would take a good one. Boy, oh boy, that was struck nicely and it is right at it.
[4:52] Oh, it's a wonderful shot. And he will have that for second on his own as opposed to a
[4:58] tie with Thomas Peters.
[5:08] Confidently, one of three.
[5:11] It was always a case of when. The run of second places is history.
[5:29] He's a winner by nature. And John Rahm rules the roost in Hong Kong.
[5:37] Mkhitaryan, Di Marco, Pio Esposito. Now Di Marco!
[5:44] Moments before the break, Di Marco finding the back of the net. Di Marco wasn't offside.
[5:51] So after a couple of minutes wait, Inter can celebrate. Di Marco does.
[6:06] Marcus Thuram for Di Marco.
[6:11] He's done it again.
[6:12] He's done it again. He's done it again. He's done it again. He's done it again. He's done it again. He's done it again.
[6:12] Again against Napoli. Last season's free kick at the Maradona. Tonight he scores at the Meazza.

[6:58] And surely seals the points.
[7:07] Hoyland wins the header.
[7:08] Then Di Lorenzo. Locatelli. Jonathan David. He's got it!
[7:15] Jonathan David finds the net in the big game for Juventus.
[7:20] That's what they've been waiting for. That's what he's been waiting for.

[7:30] Freuler. Good work. Fabian. Castro. And Campiaghi. What a save by Boutet.
[8:12] Voivode with the cross. Lovely ball in. Meno is there not once but twice to keep out Acuna.
[8:41] Ghilardi breaking forward. It's his cut back. And Solé makes it two.
[8:48] They had to wait a while for the first. They've not been made to wait long for the second.
[8:52] And having teed up the first, Solé scores the second.
[8:57] And surely seals the points.
[8:58] Hoyland wins the header. Then Di Lorenzo. Locatelli. Jonathan David. He's got it!
[9:14] Jonathan David finds the net in the big game for Juventus.
[9:19] That's what they've been waiting for. That's what he's been waiting for.
[9:24] And finally, the goals have started to come on a regular basis.
[9:41] Freuler. Good work. Fabian. Castro. And Campiaghi. What a save by Boutet.

[14:45] Tower Bridge.
[14:46] We are in London, my hometown.
[14:48] We're here for the press conference.
[14:49] Derek Trezor vs Deontay Wilder.
[14:51] Heavyweight season has well and truly begun on DAZN.
[14:55] And welcome in as well to the iconic, the world famous, you'll call Bethnal Green
[15:00] where media and fans have assembled to catch a glimpse of some of the biggest names in boxing.
[15:06] And welcome into our studio.
[15:07] Look at the guests.
[15:08] Look at the ensemble cast we've got here.
[15:10] Former two-weight world champion.
[15:11] frampton former world title challenger who trained deontay wilder malik scott carl start with you the
[15:17] turnout says it all right everyone wants to see their riches or in deontay i think that everyone
[15:22] wants to see them go at each other a bit as well yeah i think so it's been very respectful hasn't
[15:26] it in the build-up um typically not not like the two boys i think we were going to see something
[15:33] and but we've still got a few days to go before the actual fight happens but so far so good it's
[15:38] been all nice and calm but i have a feeling that it won't be all like that it won't be an honor i
[15:45] i think incorrectly from ron malik soon as this fight was announced three four months ago the
[15:49] questions people were asking is who's got the most left is it chisora who's now what 42 43 is it
[15:55] deontay wilder who you've trained is that still the narrative who's got most left in the tank i
[16:01] actually think concerning from a public perception that if you're going off a resource off the last
[16:07] couple fights
[16:08] both guys you have to go with your soras as far as who has much who has the most left because the
[16:13] performance speak that he's been looking a little bit better and a little bit more sturdier than
[16:16] deontay but i also believe deontay is re-motivated i believe him and don house has been down in
[16:22] tuscaloosa alabama get some good work in and i think a lot of people are going to be shocked
[16:26] how motivated and focusing coming on this fight against jessara yeah john dewater's almost hidden
[16:30] himself away a man who does know nothing about hiding himself away is derrick jazora who is
[16:36] arriving believe it or not on a tank
[16:38] ladies and gentlemen i mean this is him setting off on his way to york or bethnal green he could
[16:44] have taken the smart car the rolls royce he decided to choose a tank there he is going over
[16:51] tower bridge as well i mean they're in chisora doing their original thing and this is why we
[16:56] love him carl because this is the guy who's at 13 defeats and you know fans kind of move away
[17:03] run away from you after a couple of defeats he's been able to go from dell boys to delft
[17:08] to watch resort to keep the fans engaged and these type of things work in this era where a defeat can
[17:15] be so detrimental to your career it's a bit of an anomaly that derek is so popular after 13 defeats
[17:21] he's never won a world title though he's fought for one but i think it's testament to his character
[17:26] people love him because of who he is it's almost like he says what he sees um he doesn't mind kind
[17:32] of annoying or upsetting people from time to time but that's why they're still demanding pay-per-view
[17:38] that's why he's still selling out 20 000 cedar arenas but obviously you know we've got an
[17:43] opponent in deontay welder who was at the top of the tree he was the heavyweight champion of the
[17:47] world before so both these guys coming together the characters that they both have the history
[17:53] that they have in this game is what's drawing people to it i think yeah it's almost as though
[17:57] they deserve this yeah right two guys coming together who've given us 50 fights i mean this
[18:02] will be their 50th fight each which is incredible a bit on chisora malik you fought him way back in
[18:08] so you know exactly he's starred in the way in which he fights the knockouts the clubbing shots
[18:13] how difficult is chisora to fight right he's probably the most stubborn fighter that i've
[18:17] ever sparred the most stubborn fighter that i've afforded what do i mean by that stubborn
[18:21] he has a mentality that no matter what you do i'm walking forward if you know i'm coming forward i'm
[18:26] still walking forward and believe it or not chasora is a much better puncher than he gets
[18:30] credit for you guys spoke on something earlier about how these fans just love chasora and it's
[18:34] because it's not about his losses it's about how he makes people feel
[18:38] i mean he give people memories he make people jump up out of their seats he hold interest of
[18:42] people behind his antics outside of the ring so he has a big market behind him that he created
[18:48] himself i want to stick with you i'll bring you in cars i want to stick with you because i don't
[18:51] want to talk about dionte waldo you trained wilder for a few fights right tough fights as well when
[18:57] you think about the fights you had him training for i mean zhang and barker well done congratulations
[19:03] where is he you've seen him all week compare that wilder to the wilder now any difference i believe
[19:09] this wilder is re motivated i believe that him and don house has been doing some incredible
[19:13] incredible work down there in tuscaloosa alabama and like i said earlier i think people are going
[19:17] to be surprised how focused he is i think that people are really going to be surprised of his
[19:21] punch intake against chasora because chasora is going to walk right to him it's dionte job to let
[19:26] the missile go uh it's dionte job to let that gift go that god gave him and that's that detonating
[19:31] right hand and he's going to have to let it go because chasora is going to be right in his face
[19:39] all the questions about dionte wild and turner i guess the one thing for wilder carl is that he has
[19:43] the carrot being dangled in front of him chasora said look win or lose that's it i'm done wilder
[19:47] says if i win i continue and then you start hearing names like aj you start hearing names
[19:52] like the winner of fabio and daniel dubois so if i'm wilder you've got to give it absolutely
[19:56] everything this is your last chance even the usic fights a possibility it wasn't that long ago when
[20:01] usic was talking about wilder and and i i actually understood why he was talking about it he's had
[20:06] all these great names from this era on his resume
[20:09] apart from wilder so the fight in a way makes sense so there's a big carrot angle in there
[20:14] but for both guys i mean personally i would love to see both guys retire because i think this is
[20:19] a dangerous sport and when you're over 40 and still doing it i don't think it's any good for you
[20:24] but when they keep winning there's always they're always chasing and they want to chase the paydays
[20:31] but what a way to go out on a big win if derek wins he's beating dionte wilder if dionte wilder
[20:35] wins he's beaten the you know the hero and derek chisora i think it'd be a great way for
[20:40] either way guy to go out on a win right there you go uh this press conference is going to be
[20:44] split up into two portions you've got the undercard everything up until the main event behind us
[20:49] they're ready on stage and then we have chisora wilder hosting their own press conference as well
[20:54] it really is an interesting fight card some names of fighters upcoming some names of fighters won
[20:59] in world title shots here is the undercard amir anderson unbeaten from american very confident
[21:04] very brash he takes on jordan dujon matty harris what a time to be a young heavyweight needs to get
[21:10] in ways now trained by peter fury he takes on franklin ignacio denzel bentley versus andres
[21:16] savadra now this is interesting because alan canali the current champion is suspended this could be a
[21:23] world title crack if bentley wins he could get upgraded to full champion a man that i think is
[21:28] going to become a world champion is vidal riley he takes on former european champion matthias
[21:32] mastenec and the two old warhorses fight number 50 for derek chisora fight number 50 for dionte
[21:40] there you go cracking card all right as i said the undercard is ready to commence their words
[21:45] of war this should be interesting adam smith is ready to host it for us as well so let's throw
[21:50] to one of the best voices in boxing adam thanks very much add a big fight week upon us don't we
[21:59] love it 48 hours or so until the action kicks off wonderful to be here great to see uh so
[22:06] many of you at the york or bethnal green the british institution so many of you have been
[22:12] watching the york or bethnal green the british institution so many of you have been watching
[22:12] the york or bethnal green the british institution so many of you have been watching the likes of lennox
[22:14] the likes of lennox and fury and aj calzaghe ricky hatton they've all fought here johnny
[22:19] tappy i remember coming over a magical place for a huge press conference and then we're over to
[22:27] the o2 saturday night where the thrilling heavyweight fights happen mf pro and queensbury
[22:35] present this huge chisor chisora wilder event live on the global home of boxing of course
[22:42] on the zone it's a super car we've got some cracking names some really good talent a real
[22:49] mixture on this uh fabulous show um frank warren couldn't be here present but we have got another
[22:56] legendary promoter of the sport he's just down here and i'm sure he wants to say a few words
[23:01] please welcome kala sourland good afternoon london for good evening london uh what a venue this is
[23:11] the memories in this place as a fan as a promoter
[23:16] yeah just just unbelievable to be in the york hall building up to a fantastic easter weekend
[23:24] of boxing on the home of boxing and that is of course the zone live from the o2 this saturday
[23:31] night we have 100 and we'll shortly be having the main event press conference but
[23:37] you know every big card and this is you know mf pro's very first london blockbuster card has to
[23:47] i've decided to call this the support card or not the undercard because it doesn't do it
[23:51] quite the credit it deserves nine fights um you know kicks off at 5 p.m if you're lucky enough to
[24:00] have a ticket to the o2 5 p.m starts are getting early getting early um young guns tom welland
[24:08] dan towered will be kicking us off two mf young guns going straight into derek trejora's protege
[24:16] del julio and moving on from there we go to two mf prospects from the states the very exciting
[24:24] amir anderson and of course h2o sylv um before we get to for me one of the one of the yeah one of
[24:34] the picks of the card in terms of entertainment um we have an all british heavyweight fight between
[24:42] the massive prospect matty harris with peter fury in his corner
[24:46] taking on ignatius who we've had on our cards before promises to be a real great heavyweight
[24:53] fight to get us in the mood for later in the evening um then we get to the title action
[25:00] and a man who i've got so much respect for a man who's had his ups and downs as his career
[25:08] we promoted a fight of his for the british title not so long ago which was one of the
[25:12] fights of the year i think it was actually voted fight of the year in the uk and that's denzel
[25:19] vedra for the wbo middleweight championship of the world and then of course our co-feature our mf
[25:30] star vidal riley sitting to my right who challenges following his capture of the british
[25:39] title challenges matthias mastinac a legend of the cruiserweight scene for the european championship
[25:50] know it's it's these sort of cards that you need and adam you know this from from your big cars
[25:55] over the years that you've reported on and it's it's what gets us in the mood for for that big
[26:01] that big moment for that big event but it's uh it's an absolute pleasure and a privilege to be
[26:07] sitting here with these with these guys who are have given it all in in the gym in the camp
[26:13] building up to this and to their moments and you know everyone get in there early because it's
[26:18] going to be worth watching i'm very very excited beautifully set up let's have a quick word with
[26:24] the president of mf pro amma abdallah welcome thank you adam it's great to be here again
[26:30] london it is an absolute honor to be back here and our first inception card uh here in london
[26:37] with mf pro i i can't to kelly hit everything right on the head so i can't i don't want to
[26:44] reiterate it and bore you guys to death but i what do i what i do want to talk about is what
[26:49] mf pro is we have an absolute honor of being able to partner with the home of boxing the zone and
[26:56] our mission our goal is to be able to put on the biggest and best fights in partnership and in
[27:02] unity with all the other promoters in boxing now there's no more excuse about networks can't work
[27:08] together because they're all under the biggest network which is the zone and we're going to kick
[27:14] this off with these young men on this stage being able to put on one heck of a card every
[27:19] single matchup on this card is electrifying again i don't want to reiterate what kelly said
[27:26] but every one of them in its own right is going to be a main event of course it leads us up to
[27:32] the co-main event which is our mf pro star vidal riley taking on the legend matthias masternack for
[27:39] the european title how much more fitting could it be than having it in london on the undercard
[27:44] a co-feature of dionte wilder and derek tesoro at the end of that 12 rounds we're going to have a
[27:51] match between dionte wilder and derek tesoro at the end of that 12 rounds or if it ends earlier
[27:55] which we anticipated to there's only two things that we're looking to hear and new vidal riley
[28:01] the new european champion here crowned in london for bigger and better things ladies and gentlemen
[28:06] thank you all so much for being here we look forward to seeing you guys saturday night and
[28:10] of course watching this exclusively on the zone thanks very much it was a hammer that was that
[28:20] was brilliant that was a wry smile on team master max face when you said that but that's what boxing
[28:26] at us is canada mentioned a couple of the young stars tom welland great to see you west ham boys
[28:33] club i think you were nine victories in your tenure back how excited are you to be part of this
[28:40] enormous occasion on saturday night yeah well it's great to be back for a start but to be back on a
[28:47] on a card that's going to be remembered it makes it even better and it's bit it's a little bit
[28:50] bittersweet really what are you going to show us uh on saturday uh you kick off
[28:56] at five o'clock um the real hardcore will be in there ready to watch you what are you going to
[29:01] deliver i'm going to show that i'm still the same fighter i'm going to show the lessons that i've
[29:05] learned and the dark place that i've been to but more for me is just building momentum again and i
[29:10] can i can just reiterate that the rest of the card obviously is going to be very very electrifying
[29:16] but it all starts with with my fight at 5 p.m and yeah i'm just going to set the tone for the rest
[29:20] of the card i love it set this set the tone and maybe steal the show yeah absolutely that's always
[29:26] been my plan that's every every undercard i've been in and it's always been to try and outshine
[29:30] the main event or shine the outshine the rest of the card but i've got i've got a point to prove
[29:35] this time that i'm still there in contention for these different titles and these domestic titles
[29:40] and me it's more of a mental game as much as it is a physical game but i need to write some wrongs
[29:46] in my own head before i can push on fantastic to hear tom and some uh friendly competition as well
[29:52] you're at featherweight that's super well to wait dan tower great to have you with us for

[30:18] to look at the turnout here already and um like i said saturday night i'll show why i belong to
[30:22] be on these cards and for those who haven't seen you what do we expect
[30:27] slick southpaw boxing power in both hands you know the fight will go anytime and anyone here
[30:32] and anyone tuning in make sure they watch the prelims of dan tower fantastic we saw a slick
[30:38] southpaw with some power in moses atama at the weekend boxing's in a great place isn't it um up
[30:44] here on the table right to the end i was sitting there earlier and he kicked me off absolutely right
[30:49] jermaine delwayo is unbeaten he's also derek's nephew so it's great to have a family connection
[30:56] on the show um
[30:58] how nervous are you with uh your uncle sort of coming up later and what sort of advice
[31:03] has he given you for these big moments um hi guys and now i'm not really nervous to be honest with
[31:09] you uh i worked hard for these moments i prayed for these moments and this it's just a dream come
[31:14] true to be honest eight and oh so far so good again like dan what are you going to show the
[31:21] the public on saturday because this is a much bigger stage i'm just going to show everything
[31:25] i worked on in the gym all the hard work and uh just expect an exciting
[31:29] fight and i've got to ask you what happens when uncle derek gets in the ring expect a big victory
[31:35] for my uncle ko trust me i love that a big victory at the o2 let's go to h2o down at the front ashton
[31:49] silv great to have you with us um i'll call you h2o is that is that right yeah that's good that's
[31:55] good what are we gonna see on saturday night you're banging the middle right in front of
[32:00] the the press photography just stare down the barrel and tell the producer danach you're gonna
[32:04] them what we're going to see. You are going to see me come through the show. I didn't come out here
[32:08] for no reason and I just want to be back to where I was before the loss. You've had a loss but you've
[32:14] had 12 wins, plenty of knockouts as well. A style that you think is going to really excite the
[32:20] British public. Yeah I mean definitely that's why they call me H2O. It's just a different style
[32:24] inside the ring and I just know everyone in the building is going to like the style that I bring.
[32:29] We can't wait to see you. Alongside you is Amir Anderson undefeated in six with six
[32:36] knockouts in with Jordan Dujon. That's our first live fight on DAZN. Amir welcome over from New
[32:43] York. We like the look of you, pretty hot, great prospect. What are we building towards here?
[32:52] First off I want to say shout out to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
[32:56] Expect the show. I come any way that I can.
[33:01] You know I'm everything everybody wants to see. I'm versatile. I can switch softball. I can
[33:07] bang. I can box. So I'm a little bit of everything. So expect a big knockout.
[33:14] I love that versatility. So we're not quite sure what we're going to get but we're going
[33:18] to get everything all in one. Yeah you're going to get all in one.
[33:25] Transferring from the gimmicks of misfits it shows that I'm an entertainer. I mean
[33:32] boxing is not just...
[33:33] about a brutal sport. It's about entertainment as well. You know and so
[33:36] I think Cashman is one of the biggest entertainments prospect most
[33:41] entertaining prospects in Misfits Pro. So I'm willing to show that April 4th.
[33:46] And I want to everybody say they want still the show but I think I'm still the
[33:49] show too. Yeah I love that. I love this competition on the front row. Cashman
[33:53] fantastic. Are you gonna go all the way in this sport? Yeah I'm eyeing you know no
[34:00] disrespect to Denzel and...
[34:02] I don't want to butcher his name but you know I'm eyeing that fight. You know I think I'm a
[34:07] I'm a prospect that belongs as a contender. And you know I believe I could beat these guys now.
[34:14] And I'm 22. I'm 6-0. But I believe that now is the time to show that I'm a contender. If I knock
[34:20] this guy out I got I believe that I need a bigger fight and I need to show that you know I belong
[34:27] up there. And I know I belong up there. I'm gonna show y'all April 4th. I love the confidence. I love
[34:32] the attitude. We move up to the heavyweight division. Calla teased it earlier. Really good
[34:37] matchup this. I like this. Matty Harris and Franklin Ignatius. Only one defeat each on their
[34:44] records. They're almost the battle of the unbeatens. We'll come to you first Franklin. It's a big chance
[34:51] this for you. You put together some pretty good wins but one over Matty Harris will be something
[34:56] new for you in your career. Yeah definitely. I think a win over Matty Harris would be a statement
[35:02] win for me.
[35:03] It's exactly the win I need to get my momentum back and launch me back at the top of the domestic
[35:08] power. So yeah I'm looking forward to Saturday. I'm looking forward to showing what I'm about.
[35:13] I guess you accepted this fight straight away. The chance. You've seen Matty Harris. He's a big
[35:19] puncher. He's tall. He's got plenty of prospect ahead of him hasn't he? But you've got to stop
[35:25] that. You've got to run your own road here. The way I look at it is it's the perfect fight for me.
[35:31] He has a good style. He punches good.
[35:34] Looks good. So it's the right type of fight for me to like I said get my momentum back. So yeah man I'm glad you know despite all the BS earlier we're here now and I'm ready looking forward to putting on a show on Saturday.
[35:47] There we go. We've got a little bit of fire. You punch good. You look good. Come on. What are you going to do to Matty Harris Franklin?
[35:53] Listen. It's going to be a destruction. You're going to see a fighter come in and put his heart on his sleeve and you're going to see me put on a destructive performance. I think a lot of people are going to be really shocked but for me and my team's going to be shocked.
[36:04] I'm going to be no surprise, do you know what I mean?
[36:06] So I'm looking forward to it, and, yeah, man, it's going to be fun.
[36:09] We love shocks, we love upsets, unpredictability in this sport.
[36:13] Matty, great to see you.
[36:15] You're on a roll now.
[36:16] I know you had that one defeat,
[36:17] but everything's looking rosy under Peter Fury,
[36:20] and I know you're looking to perform and shine on Saturday night.
[36:25] Yeah, absolutely.
[36:26] I just want to start off by saying thank you to DAZN
[36:29] and Misfits for having me up here.
[36:32] But, yeah, I'm looking forward to going out there,
[36:34] putting on a good performance,
[36:36] and collecting that performance.
[36:37] And the night bonus I've seen was being advertised.
[36:41] You're from my old neck of the woods, Leamington Spa.
[36:43] I've known you a long time.
[36:45] Do you think that you've got the talent, ability,
[36:48] and will have the experience to be able to go and deal with these heavyweights?
[36:52] I mean, the pot in the glamour division, it's never been hotter.
[36:56] Yeah, 100%.
[36:57] I mean, Peter wouldn't train me if he didn't think that I was capable
[37:00] of going on to achieve big things.
[37:03] So, as I said,
[37:04] Saturday night is, for me, a first step up in the right direction
[37:08] to go on and achieve what I want to achieve.
[37:11] You say it's a step up.
[37:13] How do you deal with Franklin Ignatius?
[37:15] What have you got to do on Saturday?
[37:17] I can do whatever I want.
[37:18] We've trained for that.
[37:20] So, I think I get rid of him.
[37:23] At what point, we'll see.
[37:25] I don't really care how it goes, to be honest.
[37:27] I've trained for 10 hard rounds, even though it's an eight-rounder.
[37:31] So, we've more than prepared for this.
[37:33] We know what he's going to bring.
[37:35] He's, as I said, I've got myself in good shape.
[37:38] I respect him as a fighter.
[37:39] That's why I've gone away and put the hard work in.
[37:41] But he is what he is as a fighter,
[37:45] and I think I'm going to go in there and demolish him.
[37:47] You're going to demolish him?
[37:48] He says a destructive performance, so someone's getting...
[37:51] This guy can't crack an egg.
[37:52] I don't know.
[37:53] He's not demolishing anyone.
[37:54] You're not the puncher you think you are.
[37:55] You're four people that can't even punch.
[37:57] You don't even know their names.
[37:58] Who are you for?
[37:59] We'll see you.
[38:00] We'll see you for it.
[38:01] Let me tell you something right now.
[38:02] All the people that you fought, you never fought a man of a post.
[38:04] We'll see you for it.
[38:05] The first time...
[38:05] A man stepped up to you, you fumbled.
[38:07] What on earth are you talking about?
[38:07] If that's what you're hoping on,
[38:09] as I said, it's going to be a long night for you.
[38:11] I'm not hoping on nothing.
[38:12] I'm seeing a man who's scared,
[38:14] been wiggling himself,
[38:16] damn near have hard to find.
[38:18] You had an opportunity to fight me in November.
[38:20] You ducked out on Monday of a fight,
[38:22] talking nonsense,
[38:23] and now we're here.
[38:24] I don't want to see no bullshit.
[38:25] Make sure you turn up Saturday
[38:26] and get the beating that you need.
[38:29] You haven't beaten anyone, bro.
[38:30] Let's be honest.
[38:31] As I said, I'm here.
[38:33] I'm here right now.
[38:34] You're going to see me on Saturday night.
[38:36] And we'll take it from there.
[38:39] Someone's getting knocked out, I think,
[38:40] on that front row.
[38:42] Love it.
[38:43] Absolutely love it.
[38:44] If you want a heavyweight battle,
[38:45] that's the warm-up we need
[38:47] for Chisora Wilder later on.
[38:48] Matty Harris and Franklin Ignatius.
[38:51] That's what we want to hear.
[38:53] Fantastic.
[38:54] We'll come up to the top table.
[38:55] Really, really important fight.
[38:58] Addy mentioned it earlier.
[39:00] Callas mentioned it.
[39:01] For the WBO Interim World Middleweight Championship
[39:04] between two excellent fighters.
[39:06] In Denzel Bentley and Andre Saavedra,
[39:09] who's originally from Venezuela.
[39:11] He's got a great record.
[39:13] Plenty of knockouts in the 17 victories.
[39:16] Tough one.
[39:17] Step up for Denzel.
[39:18] He knows that.
[39:18] Right.
[39:19] Let's go to Andre.
[39:21] Ray Flores with him.
[39:23] Andre, how important is it for you
[39:27] to get a big win over Denzel Bentley,
[39:31] to put yourself in line to become
[39:33] a world middleweight champion
[39:34] after everything that you've gone through
[39:36] in this sport,
[39:37] which has been a tough,
[39:38] tough road?
[39:39] It's a big challenge for me.
[39:49] This fight with Bentley,
[39:51] it's a fight that I've always been looking for
[39:54] since I started as a professional boxer.
[39:57] It's time to show who Andre Saavedra is.
[40:00] And this Saturday, April 4th,
[40:02] we're going to show it.
[40:03] This is a very important moment for me
[40:06] to be on a card of this magnitude
[40:08] and taking on someone like Denzel Bentley.
[40:10] This is my moment to be able to demonstrate
[40:12] to the entire world who Andre Saavedra is.
[40:15] Fantastic.
[40:17] I love that.
[40:18] We've seen plenty of Andre,
[40:20] aggressive, loves to fight.
[40:23] Has he got that style to really excite the O2,
[40:26] which is going to be packed
[40:27] and the atmosphere is going to be phenomenal
[40:29] by the time he fights?
[40:36] Yes, I'm here to give a show here in London
[40:40] so people can take a good image of me.
[40:44] I'm here with all my heart
[40:46] to be the new champion in the 160 pounds.
[40:50] Yeah, I definitely feel like I have the style
[40:52] to entertain the fans
[40:53] at the O2 arena.
[40:55] I come with all the energy,
[40:57] the excitement,
[40:58] and I want to entertain the fans
[41:00] when they watch me fight
[41:01] that they take away a very memorable performance
[41:04] from me, Andre Saavedra.
[41:06] Absolutely, Andre.
[41:07] We can't wait for that.
[41:08] Denzel, you know the danger that this guy brings.
[41:11] You've studied him.
[41:12] You think, I guess,
[41:13] that you've got the perfect counterpunching style
[41:16] to deal with him,
[41:17] but it's going to be fireworks, isn't it, this one?
[41:19] Yeah, it's going to be fun, man.
[41:20] I'm looking forward to it.
[41:22] Do you think it's come at the right time?
[41:24] I know there's been inactivity.
[41:25] I know that you're on that really good run.
[41:27] There's been the ups and downs,
[41:28] as Calais mentioned,
[41:29] but you've stuck with it,
[41:30] and you're nearly there now.
[41:32] Yeah, I mean,
[41:33] I don't think inactivity will be an issue.
[41:35] I'll stay active.
[41:36] I'm always in the gym.
[41:37] I'm always doing what I need to do.
[41:38] So, like you said,
[41:39] it's been a while since I've been at the gym,
[41:41] and I've just got to thank God
[41:42] that I'm able to come back
[41:43] 60 months out on the card like this.
[41:44] Do you know what I mean?
[41:45] So, I'm excited about this fight.
[41:46] I think this is a good fight.
[41:47] I think it's going to bring fireworks,
[41:49] and I think it does have the style to excite the O2,
[41:51] but so do I,
[41:52] so I hope the fans enjoy it.
[41:53] You've definitely got the style,
[41:54] and we've seen you up and down the country
[41:56] doing bits of interviews, commentary,
[41:58] that sort of thing,
[41:59] waiting, waiting to get back into the gloves
[42:02] and perform,
[42:03] and is that what's going to happen on Saturday night?
[42:06] Yeah, I mean, Saturday's around the corner, man.
[42:08] I feel good.
[42:09] I'm in great shape.
[42:10] I feel alive.
[42:11] I've got a smile on my face,
[42:12] and I just can't wait to fight, man.
[42:13] That's what I love to do.
[42:14] All the commentary stuff,
[42:15] it's just to, you know,
[42:16] make the time go by,
[42:17] but I'm a fighter.
[42:18] You're good.
[42:19] You're good at it.
[42:20] I'm telling you.
[42:21] I'm all right.
[42:22] I'm better at fighting.
[42:23] You're better at fighting.
[42:24] You were pretty good here
[42:25] with that two-round knockout win.
[42:26] That was at York Hall.
[42:27] York Hall's a great place for you, isn't it?
[42:28] Yeah, it is, man.
[42:29] It is.
[42:30] It feels good to be back here,
[42:31] but I also feel good to be moving up.
[42:32] The O2's the only venue in London I haven't done,
[42:34] and I think this is the perfect occasion
[42:36] for me to fight there for the first time.
[42:38] As Ade and Karl and Malik were saying,
[42:40] the middleweight division is sort of open now
[42:42] with what's been going on,
[42:44] so a win really puts you there,
[42:46] and maybe even you become a world champion,
[42:48] how much will that mean to you
[42:50] after all the toil in this sport?
[42:52] It'll mean a lot, man.
[42:53] I mean, this is what we strive for as fighters.
[42:55] I mean, every fighter on this table right now
[42:57] wants to be a world champion.
[42:58] So, you know, we're all fighting for the same thing,
[43:00] and any fighter that tells you they don't,
[43:02] then, you know, they're probably, you know, just...
[43:04] I don't know what they're in it for, to be honest.
[43:07] But, yeah, man, it would mean a lot.
[43:09] I think I can do it.
[43:10] I believe I can do it.
[43:11] And, like I said, man, I can't wait.
[43:13] Finally, everyone down there on that table
[43:16] and most of the ones up here are saying
[43:18] they're steelheads.
[43:19] They're stealing the show.
[43:20] How do you do it?
[43:23] You have to wait till Saturday, man.
[43:24] Everyone believes in themselves.
[43:25] Everyone's putting in work,
[43:26] and they can steal the show in their own right.
[43:28] I ain't competing with anyone down there on that table.
[43:30] My only opponent is NG over there.
[43:32] So, yeah.
[43:33] Fantastic. Really good.
[43:38] Denzil Bentley and Andre Saavedia
[43:40] for the interim world middleweight title.
[43:42] Can't wait for that.
[43:43] Chief support is a big fight.
[43:45] European cruiserweight title
[43:47] and an IBF eliminator as well.
[43:50] Two excellent fighters.
[43:52] Different journeys.
[43:54] I've got to see them both over the years.
[43:57] Vidal Riley, who had a brilliant performance
[44:00] at his beloved Tottenham
[44:02] over Shev Clark winning the British title,
[44:04] jumps up, and it's a big jump up,
[44:06] against Matthias Mastanac,
[44:08] who we've seen here plenty of times before,
[44:11] the days with Tony Bellew,
[44:13] Chris Billen-Smith and others.
[44:15] Second time a European champion.
[44:18] Firstly, I want to ask Matthias,
[44:21] is the fire still burning
[44:23] as much as it always has?
[44:25] Hello, everybody.
[44:32] Yes, of course,
[44:35] Kalle said
[44:37] Mastanac is cruiser legend.
[44:41] Yes, of course,
[44:43] but still have plans, dreams.
[44:47] I'm still heavy work,
[44:50] but I'm ready for this big show.
[44:55] Great. That's a great opening line.
[44:57] A cruiserweight legend,
[45:01] 50 victories in 56 fights,
[45:04] but still not yet to get your hands
[45:07] on a world title.
[45:09] I guess at 38, is that still the goal
[45:11] that you believe you can become a world champion?
[45:16] Yes, this is my dream.
[45:20] I long time await for this fight.
[45:25] My last championship fight,
[45:30] I'm lost, but I don't lost
[45:33] my skills,
[45:38] but my body broken,
[45:42] but much change in my preparation
[45:48] from this fight.
[45:50] I'm little bit come back to my old style.
[45:53] So, let's do it.
[45:56] Yes, let's do it.
[45:58] Back to the old style.
[46:00] How highly do you rate the man over there,
[46:03] the undefeated Vidal Riley?
[46:05] How good do you think he is and can be?
[46:08] Problem is the undefeated fighters.
[46:16] I don't know where is his limit.
[46:22] This is important,
[46:25] but this good fighters,
[46:27] quick, strong,
[46:28] but before...
[46:34] I think I've already seen this style.
[46:42] I've boxed with fighters who fight similarly.
[46:45] I gave my best,
[46:47] so I deeply believe
[46:49] that this time I can do it.
[46:51] I think I saw this style.
[46:54] I've fought with similar fighters
[46:57] and I think I can manage this time as well.
[47:01] Okay, finally before I go to Vidal,
[47:03] what happens on Saturday night?
[47:06] What entertainment are we gonna see
[47:08] and what will the result be?
[47:16] I think left, right, upper cup,
[47:19] hug, everything.
[47:22] Do you think you win by knockout?
[47:25] No.
[47:29] Of course,
[47:31] every fighter wants to win by knockout.
[47:35] This salt of boxing,
[47:38] of this big show.
[47:40] But important for me is skills.
[47:44] Win by point is of course nice.
[47:49] Round of applause for a fantastic
[47:53] second language interview.
[47:55] What a great guy.
[47:56] Matthias Masnak, indeed,
[47:58] a cruiserweight legend.
[47:59] That's what you've got to topple,
[48:01] Vidal Reilly.
[48:02] You looked brilliant at Spurs back in November.
[48:05] Do you think this is the right fight,
[48:07] the right opportunity at the right time?
[48:09] Definitely, definitely.
[48:11] I want to thank everyone for being here today.
[48:14] I want to give a big shout out
[48:16] and appreciation to MF Pro.
[48:18] This is where I've wanted to be.
[48:21] I've worked my whole life
[48:23] to be in this position.
[48:24] Much to, you know,
[48:25] contrary to belief.
[48:28] Everyone believes everything's been given to me.
[48:31] I met KSI.
[48:32] My life's been great the whole time.
[48:35] That's not how this thing has gone.
[48:37] That's not the journey.
[48:38] That's not the career.
[48:39] You know, I started boxing at three years old
[48:41] in the living room with my father.
[48:44] Avoiding the TV and the sofa.
[48:46] You know, learning my footwork and defense.
[48:48] These things are not,
[48:49] don't drop down from the sky.
[48:52] You know, I've had to work
[48:53] to be where I am today.
[48:54] The national titles.
[48:56] The sparring with quality fighters.
[48:58] Dan Aziz in the room.
[49:00] Lawrence Okoli.
[49:01] Dillian White.
[49:02] Richard Riakpour.
[49:04] You know, the wins over Billum Smith.
[49:06] Daniel Dubois.
[49:07] All these things, man.
[49:09] Like, started boxing around the corner from here
[49:11] and repped him boxing club.
[49:13] Prestigious amateur boxing club.
[49:15] Newham.
[49:16] West Ham.
[49:17] This has been my whole life.
[49:19] And how I got to meet Amir Abdallah
[49:24] was later on in life.
[49:25] Was later on in the journey.
[49:27] But it was through KSI.
[49:29] You know?
[49:30] When I went to Vegas
[49:32] and turned professional,
[49:33] I couldn't afford the flight there.
[49:35] You know, people ask about me and JJ's relationship.
[49:37] Me and KSI's relationship.
[49:39] He paid for the flight.
[49:40] He paid for the hotel.
[49:41] And then Leon said,
[49:44] take your kit.
[49:45] Maybe you can do something out there.
[49:47] So I'm only in these positions because
[49:49] I've worked hard and blessed to meet
[49:51] the right individuals.
[49:53] But nothing's been given to me.
[49:54] I've had to work my whole life.
[49:55] I've worked my whole life for this.
[49:57] And I think there's always a misunderstanding
[49:59] about how I got here
[50:00] and I'm like some industry plant or something.
[50:02] But I've actually had to grind.
[50:04] And the evidence is there.
[50:06] I'm 13 and all.
[50:07] People talk about inactivity.
[50:09] You ain't got that many fights.
[50:10] Why am I sitting here on the top table
[50:13] in a world title eliminator
[50:15] for the European title with only 13 fights?
[50:17] You have to ask yourself that.
[50:20] And it's because I'm ready to do what I need to do.
[50:23] And I'm ready to prove
[50:24] not only can I be European champion,
[50:26] but a young world level.
[50:28] That's a rallying call.
[50:38] Vidal Riley is ready.
[50:40] And trust us, we know about your journey.
[50:44] And we know the talent.
[50:46] I guess the question is,
[50:47] can that talent beat experience?
[50:50] Can you step up the levels now
[50:55] to deal with somebody who is still hungry,
[50:58] who still has world dreams of his own,
[51:00] and is proven as a professional?
[51:02] It's not just about talent.
[51:04] That's what I've learned along this journey as well.
[51:06] I've got ample talent.
[51:07] I've got a lot of talent.
[51:08] It's about the work.
[51:09] It's the hard work.
[51:10] It's the mentality.
[51:12] The dedication.
[51:13] And this game only exists by answering questions.
[51:17] Once I defeat Mateus Mastinac on Saturday night,
[51:20] you're going to ask me,
[51:21] can I step it up again to become a world champion?
[51:23] It's my job, my team's job, my family,
[51:25] my promoters, everyone around me
[51:27] to make sure I'm in the position
[51:29] to continue to level up.
[51:30] So, short answer, yes, Adam.
[51:32] I will step up the level again,
[51:34] like I have done from being a prospect
[51:37] to an English champion,
[51:39] to a British champion,
[51:41] to a world-ranked contender.
[51:43] And that's it.
[51:44] Look at Derek doing what he does.
[51:45] There you go.
[51:46] There you go.
[51:47] You had your big moment, Vidal.
[51:49] And in comes...
[51:50] Look at him.
[51:51] In comes Derek.
[51:52] And he wants to see his nephew.
[51:54] It's my nephew.
[51:56] Whoever beats him, I'll give you a bonus of 10,000.
[51:59] There's a bounty on his head now.
[52:04] Let's give a round of applause for Derek Chisora in the room.
[52:06] Right in the middle of my speech.
[52:20] Derek will be back.
[52:22] He had to do that, didn't he?
[52:23] Vidal was doing so well.
[52:24] I was loving his speech.
[52:26] Didn't they both do well?
[52:27] Vidal Riley and Mathias Mastanac
[52:29] for the European Cruiserweight title,
[52:31] doubling up as a world eliminator.
[52:34] Terrific.
[52:35] Chief support, co-main event
[52:37] on a fabulous night for boxing,
[52:39] the main event
[52:41] press conference will be coming up in a few minutes.
[52:44] We've got a few head-to-heads to do.
[52:46] I want to see Matty Harris and Franklin Ignatius
[52:49] go at it at the head-to-head.
[52:51] Also Vidal, also Denzel, Andre, Mathias
[52:55] come together for the photographers.
[52:57] Guys, wish you all the very best of luck
[52:59] on Saturday night.
[53:01] A fantastic appetizer hors d'oeuvre
[53:04] for the main event.
[53:05] Thank you.
[53:06] There you go.
[53:12] So presser number one done.
[53:13] A little teaser for presser number two.
[53:15] Derek Chisora there.
[53:16] Waking in, walking in,
[53:18] shaking everyone's hands,
[53:19] including his nephew.
[53:21] It got a little spicy between Matty Harris
[53:24] and Franklin Ignatius.
[53:25] I don't know, I'm just obviously,
[53:27] cat's got my tongue today.
[53:28] That's going to be an interesting heavyweight belt.
[53:30] Both of these guys have lost just the once.
[53:32] Both of them have been stopped in that defeat
[53:34] and they've kind of been building slowly since it.
[53:37] Confidence-wise, where are they going to be?
[53:39] They know they're going in there
[53:40] and this is the first acid test for both of them
[53:42] since those defeats, Malik.
[53:44] Where are they going to be?
[53:45] Well, I believe Matty Harris,
[53:46] he went and got, boy, if not,
[53:48] he already had Peter Furious as trainer, correct?
[53:50] Yeah, went and got him.
[53:51] He went and got him.
[53:52] So that goes to show the mission that he's on
[53:53] to become more of a complete fighter
[53:55] and to make sure all his T's are crossed
[53:58] and his I's are dotted,
[53:59] meaning that whatever happened to him in defeat,
[54:01] hopefully it won't happen to him on Saturday night.
[54:04] So that shows a lot about the young man's character.
[54:06] He's willing to go get the proper help
[54:07] to make sure that he get the best out of himself.
[54:09] So we're going to see what he do on Saturday night.
[54:11] It's a good division domestically as well.
[54:13] I mean, you look below sort of British level,
[54:14] there's some really good English-level fighters.
[54:16] Johnny Fischer sort of springs to mind
[54:18] as good English-level fighters.
[54:19] The winner of this one's going to be knocking on that door
[54:21] quite soon.
[54:22] Yeah, it's a great division,
[54:23] and you forget about guys, I guess,
[54:24] because the heavyweight division is so hot at the minute,
[54:26] but I think it's a really important fight for both guys.
[54:30] They'll not want to lose again.
[54:32] There's been a lot said about Matty Harris
[54:34] and about how good he was,
[54:35] but the time that I saw him when he lost that fight,
[54:39] he looked like he gassed after about two or three rounds.
[54:42] So obviously, you have all the skills you need
[54:45] in the world,
[54:46] but if you're not training and doing the right things,
[54:48] then you're not going to go very far.
[54:50] But in saying that,
[54:51] Peter Fury won't allow that to happen,
[54:54] and he's the right trainer for him, I think.
[54:56] Yeah, we are going to get all the heads there.
[54:58] Well, three of the head-to-heads here as well.
[55:00] Denzel Bentley, obviously,
[55:01] big opportunity for Denzel Bentley,
[55:03] WBO interim middleweight title fight.
[55:05] And Matthias Mastanet,
[55:06] who you just saw on camera,
[55:07] that 56 fights, 50 wins,
[55:09] which honestly is incredible,
[55:11] and you can understand why he's being called a legend
[55:13] in the cruiserweight division.
[55:14] Mm-hmm.
[55:15] This is Derek Chisora
[55:16] arriving at York Hall Bethel Green.
[55:19] This is just...
[55:20] How do you even get a license
[55:21] to drive this thing on the road?
[55:22] Or even put the whole mission together.
[55:24] Only Derek Chisora can do this.
[55:26] But you got to love the guy.
[55:27] You got to be proud of him
[55:28] because this is not just boxing.
[55:30] This is also entertainment.
[55:31] This is personality, and this is character.
[55:33] So it's appreciated by me and many others.
[55:36] This is what he's done, right?
[55:37] It's not just the fights.
[55:38] I think of Derek,
[55:39] and I think of the outside antics as well.
[55:41] You think of what happened in Dusseldorf
[55:43] with David Haye many moons ago.
[55:44] Yeah.
[55:45] You think of the face-off with Dillian Wyatt.
[55:47] He sells you what he's gonna do outside the ring,
[55:49] and in the ring, he always delivers.
[55:51] Yeah, he does, and he's always in your face,
[55:53] and he puts on a show every time.
[55:55] I mean, you never see a foreign Derek Chisora fight.
[55:58] You never really see the build-up
[56:00] to a Derek Chisora fight being foreign as well,
[56:02] and that's why he demands so much respect,
[56:04] and that's why he gets the respect.
[56:06] A guy with 13 fights, it doesn't happen.
[56:08] Not in the latest era, this era or the era before.
[56:11] When you have 13 defeats on your record,
[56:13] you're on the scrap heap.
[56:14] You're done.
[56:15] You're done.
[56:16] And then you have Derek Chisora's show,
[56:18] and then you have Eric,
[56:19] and then he's still demanding big numbers.
[56:21] Malik, I guess this is why it's so difficult
[56:23] for him to stop.
[56:24] Because of things like this, the adulation.
[56:26] You see him there talking to the local police.
[56:28] He loves all of this, and for him to kind of say,
[56:31] okay, no more of this is gonna be hard.
[56:34] I believe Derek,
[56:35] even though he never won a world title,
[56:36] he loves being the people champ.
[56:38] He enjoys the people.
[56:39] Like I said earlier,
[56:40] he loved making the people feel good.
[56:42] Yeah, he got 13 losses,
[56:44] interviews I'm gonna go again again again and again so you got to give him
[56:50] credit for that nothing discourages man and on Saturday night he's going to come
[56:53] right to the auntie while you see what he has do we all believe and then let's
[56:57] ask the questions put out there do we all believe if he wins that's it do you
[57:01] believe if Chisora wins he doesn't fight again I want to believe it but I'm not
[57:05] I'm not quite sure I hope so it'd be a great win to go out on wouldn't for
[57:09] either man if you're if you're Derek or Deontay so I would like to see both guys
[57:16] you would like to see it but do you believe it right not sure what do you
[57:22] think Malik I mean he's ranked number two in the IBF I mean Alexander Usyk
[57:26] who's been undisputed twice could say okay you know what let's vacate yeah if
[57:29] Chisora gets to knock on the door to say you're fighting for a world title next
[57:33] do you want it what does he do Chisora is going to accept the fight I would be
[57:38] very very surprised and we don't know Deontay
[57:41] Deontay is going to be very very surprised and we don't know Deontay
[57:41] has not has no plans on retirement he's saying he wanted to continue his dream
[57:44] to become undisputed so neither one of these guys took in my opinion the
[57:49] sales pitches kinda retirement word a little bit but I don't think neither
[57:53] one of them is going to after this fight all right let's talk about some of the
[57:56] undercard fighters we just saw Vidal Reilly who again just 13 fights
[58:00] fighting a man that has 56 fights which is incredible nearly four times the
[58:04] amount of fights is it gonna be a case of experience wins out as we saw in the
[58:08] card in Manchester on Saturday gone a lot of experience
[58:11] fighter has got the job or is it the youthful exuberance and skill set of adele reilly well
[58:16] look whoever made this fight will be hoping that they've got it right and masternack is
[58:20] i've kind of just on this the wrong side of his good years and fatale reilly's a good fighter
[58:26] and we're not i'm not saying here that fatale reilly is getting an old over the hill master
[58:30] nick certainly it's someone that's past slightly past his best but it's a big it's a big win if
[58:35] he can pull it off here we go face off mattie harris uh franklin ignatius a war of words just
[58:41] the one defeat for both of them franklin ignatius got stopped by the current british heavyweight
[58:45] champion jimmy tkb so no shame in that tkb is a very good fighter mattie harris got stopped by a
[58:52] kind of journeyman that gives people problems now as malik said with peter fury he's hoping
[58:57] that all the promise carl that we've been told about him he can deliver yeah look we've heard
[59:01] all the stories and he's a he's a good fighter um very skillful fighter
[59:05] can by all accounts can punch bar it very hard but oh the boys are going at it here buddy why
[59:11] have we not got a mic there what's going on one job get a mic i don't know what they're saying
[59:15] we need to hear that someone slipped up but the kid the kid can fight and with peter fury i think
[59:20] it's the right coach for him someone who's not going to take any messing about and and if he's
[59:25] not in shape he won't fight so um i think it was a good move for him yeah and like i said malik
[59:30] this is this is the best time i think in a long time to be a heavyweight i mean right now
[59:36] you you're getting good money you're getting good opportunities there are so many fights
[59:40] to be made at every single level the winner really goes on but the loser still has a place and a part
[59:45] to play as well yes but i believe that's the mentality that neither one of them should go in
[59:49] the ring with i think they should look at this like this is a make and break fight it's very
[59:53] important for young fighters especially young heavyweights coming up in the division you can't
[59:57] look at a fight after a loss and say well even if i lose this one possibly i could come back you
[1:00:02] can't look at them circumstances both of these guys need to go in the ring saturday night and
[1:00:06] everything on the line because you just never know it there is no tomorrow oh yeah i see what
[1:00:10] he's done there there is no tomorrow as they're playing the rocky soundtrack there you go yeah
[1:00:14] what are we playing malik double it double what we're family here we go denzel bentley um who
[1:00:19] look put on a really good performance many moons ago against yanibek alum canali who was the wbo
[1:00:24] champion yanibet currently stripped serving a ban for a doping violation this is for the interim
[1:00:30] title denzel could be upgraded so this could be a world title fight yeah i'll pick up a
[1:00:36] world title fight the champion could get elevated and become the full world world champion it's not
[1:00:41] the way i would like to see it and the winner of this fight certainly won't want to call himself
[1:00:45] the world champion i don't think if they've been elevated to that position but it's a huge
[1:00:49] opportunity and whether they become a world champion off the back of this or the next fight
[1:00:53] gives them the opportunity to call themselves the world champion uh big big moment for both
[1:00:57] guys careers uh denzel bentley's been at the ring 16 months malik i mean we hear about ring russell
[1:01:02] it must be true ring rust though i mean he can spar as much as he wants to but he's not going
[1:01:06] he can do the road work fighting under the bright lights is fighting under the bright light 60
[1:01:10] months is a long time yeah it's nothing like activity i think it's um i think it's the
[1:01:15] closest thing to a plague for fighters to not be active inactivity is what destroyed fighters
[1:01:19] because one it destroys motivation it destroys confidence and it make you not as sharp so yeah
[1:01:25] you're sparring every day you're you're training hard every day but it's nothing like getting in
[1:01:28] that ring under the lights that's why i believe the best fighters to me in my opinion is the
[1:01:32] most active fighters concerning young fighters coming up so him being out there
[1:01:36] 16 months i don't know if it's going to take a toll but we're going to see here we go so many
[1:01:40] good cruiserweights in the world obviously number one i guess being jarred bataya who's coming off
[1:01:44] that win against brandon glanton these are two people that want that crack at jai remember this
[1:01:49] is for an ibf international title as well so potentially you're talking a world title shot
[1:01:53] for the winner of this one mastanek who's been desperate for a world title against vidar rani
[1:01:58] that's the co-main event on saturday i do believe that i was going to join us in a few moments as
[1:02:04] well but right now we do know what it is on the zone
[1:02:06] and it's heavyweight season so many big heavyweight fights coming up in boxing everything
[1:02:14] begins with the heavyweights the division where legends are born lewis tyson ali frazier foreman
[1:02:23] klitschko the ultimate prize the title every fighter dreams of heavyweight champion of the
[1:02:30] world moses atama the rising force award league a remarkable rise through the ranks
[1:02:45] daniel dubois built for destruction
[1:02:50] waiting for his moment and above them all the giants still loom big names big power
[1:02:58] knockouts heavyweight season has begun only on the zone not bad is it heavyweight season
[1:03:14] on the zone chizora wilder this saturday o2 arena then we take the eurostar to france for
[1:03:19] this one lawrence acoly versus tony yoka great fight that one but this has to be the fight of
[1:03:25] dubois versus fabio wardy fabio wardy the current wbo heavyweight champion daniel dubois
[1:03:31] former ivf champion whoever got the graphic on this one spot on don't blink that one's not going
[1:03:35] the full distance and then the man that rules the rules alexander ucik fighting the kickboxing
[1:03:40] legend the sensation in egypt rico but hoover that is great remember ultimate pro is the best
[1:03:46] way to watch all this go to the zone.com get ultimate it really is the best way value for
[1:03:51] money to watch all of that boxing look who's joined us by the way i go to the zone.com.com.
[1:03:56] same gym as this man he normally looks like a heavyweight he's got down and wet he's got down
[1:04:00] away video how are you my man i'm good man i'm good good to be back on the zone man it's good
[1:04:04] to have you as well um this is it co-main event it's a big one as well i mean the winner of this
[1:04:10] let's be honest the way in which the ibf are maneuvering you could be fighting for a world
[1:04:13] title shot next do you think of that or do you think of where i've just got to get through
[1:04:17] this this experience monster and he looks quite scary master neck up front doesn't he
[1:04:22] no i don't know about looking quite scary he just looks like what he looks like but i mean we've all
[1:04:26] all of us standing here has lived enough life to know not to think too far about wasn't it
[1:04:31] you know it's good to hear the prospect of things but saturday night is saturday night
[1:04:35] and i need to focus on that that's what's next do you feel as though this fight right here concerning
[1:04:41] your resume is your toughest fight concerning opponents the experience that he has yeah he's
[1:04:45] 38 years old but he come with a lot of experience and you have good wins on your record but i believe
[1:04:51] beating this guy will be in my opinion your biggest win concerning his experience rate
[1:04:56] yeah no definitely there's no dispute
[1:04:57] in that this is my toughest opponent today i have 13 fights he's got 33 knockouts he's got
[1:05:03] three times as many fights like knockouts so there's no way i can underestimate him
[1:05:10] i respect him with how i prepared you know um all respect on saturday will be just put into
[1:05:15] the performance and shaking his hand after he has to hand me over the bill
[1:05:19] how important is winning the european title to you i think i feel like it's a title
[1:05:23] that in this part of the world has been forgotten about for some reason but it was a title i was
[1:05:27] very proud of and i think it's a title that i'm very proud of and i think it's a title that i'm
[1:05:27] i want it and i think the next step is that after that is a world title how important is it for you
[1:05:32] to win this european title it's extremely important i think the ebu european title but we
[1:05:37] have to be specific i'm so happy you just did that yeah because there are so many europeans
[1:05:43] european titles european titles that you can be put in a position to win but the ebu title yeah
[1:05:49] it's a big deal it follows in the line of the traditional belts
[1:05:53] i've traditionally won the english the british and now to traditionally win the ebu
[1:05:57] it gives you a perfect level check to show that you are ready for world level malik just mentioned
[1:06:03] obviously this will be your toughest opponent on paper last time out against chef clark
[1:06:07] that was the toughest opponent and you made that look relatively easy again going in everyone gave
[1:06:13] chev a good chance and rightly so right chef was the champion and you were too good on that
[1:06:18] night it's almost like they're holding you back because i feel like you could go
[1:06:22] that performance told me you're ready to go but i guess it is building steps yeah i think i'm i've
[1:06:28] i've proved that i'm the best domestically it's only right to prove you're the best in the
[1:06:33] continent and then take over the world so i think this is the perfect progression for me against an
[1:06:39] opponent that poses difficulty for a lot of guys that have gone on to be world champions it's all
[1:06:44] about the fashion that i do at this time in my career to move forward do you think stylistically
[1:06:50] he comes or remind you of any of the opponents that you fought last does he have anything
[1:06:55] like in common with clark i know he comes forward at times but i'll
[1:06:57] also he's like a boxer puncher at times but do he remind you of anybody else that you fought in
[1:07:02] resemblance not as a professional but definitely from the amateurs having a good international
[1:07:07] career you meet a lot of eastern european fighters world school european fighters you know they've got
[1:07:12] their little pendulum steps and they've got good fundamentals so it's not something i've not seen
[1:07:17] before ever but as a professional yeah it's a new it's a new challenge is it something that's
[1:07:21] important you you kind of touched on it on the stage but people that don't know you feel like
[1:07:28] a almost a youtuber who can box but there's more to you than that than the amateur experience from
[1:07:33] bygone days years ago what was your amateur club uh what's that and winning national titles and
[1:07:39] international as well is it important for you to remember to remain people that i'm actually
[1:07:44] a real fighter like i can't put years into one sport from going to the gym first at six years
[1:07:51] old to standing here with you today and let everyone think that it's based off meeting uh
[1:07:57] i wouldn't be able to perform on this level if it was purely based off social media following you
[1:08:02] need to be able to fight at the end of the day and that's the only reason i know how to is because i
[1:08:06] put my life into it absolutely it's funny yeah because obviously like i listen to malik quite
[1:08:10] a lot who's clearly a student of the game and so are you as well i hope you don't mind me saying
[1:08:14] this but this guy i saw him in the sauna and he had a video of masternick outside the sauna and
[1:08:20] i was like who are you watching on the video as like i'm watching master neck we're in the sauna
[1:08:26] like this is what he does
[1:08:27] so he's like shedding a bit of weight and obviously loosening up and watching these
[1:08:31] opponents as well you study the game yeah no 100 and i want to uh disclaimer it wasn't this week
[1:08:43] this was at least two months ago at least he isn't trying to cut weight in a sauna now
[1:08:47] no i mean it's fine and if there's only one way there's a good way to stay distracted and that's
[1:08:52] to continue to study and just plant your opponent into your brain whilst you're just cooling off and
[1:08:58] and i and i want to say something to that i'm glad i just brought that up this game is a game of
[1:09:02] inches every advantage counts so the fact that you was doing that while you was in the sauna
[1:09:06] things like that that's what his character is about that's what being a champion is about
[1:09:10] never taking off even when you're in the sun you're looking at your opponent and take pride
[1:09:14] in that most young fighters nowadays they don't like to say they study their opponent how not
[1:09:18] you're a prize fighter you're fighting for a prize this man is trying to stop you very good job i'm
[1:09:22] looking for a good performance tonight final one before we let you go over dell uh last time out
[1:09:27] of the arena you clearly don't do small shows anymore it's big shows and big venues only now
[1:09:33] for video riley well this is this is the plan you know with mf pro you know i'm i'm the face of the
[1:09:39] company um and that comes with responsibility and that comes with fighting the opponents that will
[1:09:44] pack out the o2 and we'll pack out the bigger venues you know i've had my ufo fights one mark
[1:09:50] english title here um defended titles here but now yeah i'm ready for the big stage and i'm ready to
[1:09:57] work to continue to stay there man good luck on saturday vidal riding chief support against
[1:10:02] matthias masted by the way deontay wilder in true heavyweight fashion is late he's about 10 minutes
[1:10:07] away which is perfect because what we can do is have a look back at his training camp in tuscaloosa
[1:10:44] we're in um northport alabama and this this gym is uh it's my my second home now you know this is
[1:10:52] uh the second gym that we started yeah i've done a lot of great work here in all we have three
[1:10:58] gyms you know we had the original this is the second one we moved to and then i got one that's
[1:11:04] custom built as well used to be a male dancer at least you weren't a female man this training camp
[1:11:15] mentally it demanded me to stay 100 focused i've been 100 focused and locked in and it's been a
[1:11:25] you know no distractions preparing for one night one fight what still drives me is you know i
[1:11:55] started this career i started my career because of my daughter that was born with spina bifida so
[1:12:01] i risked my life to save a life not done it very well you know then added six more kids
[1:12:07] make seven kids and all not only taking care of my family but taking care of other families i was
[1:12:12] very selfless but at this point in time i'm selfish
[1:12:18] you know i've never really just been selfish in my life i've always had to take care of people
[1:12:23] i've been taking care of people since i was 12 years old this is the first time in my life i can
[1:12:27] say i'm selfish and that's where i am at this point in time i'm at peace i'm happier than i ever been
[1:12:33] in a long time sweet home alabama in this area back in the day blacks was prohibited to come
[1:12:56] around in this area only time they was here is to clean houses and stuff like that this is the black
[1:13:04] they got a black warrior right here in front of the black warrior river i just see progression i
[1:13:09] see change i see you know how far you know a culture have come and it's just a motivation
[1:13:18] every time i see it i think you're going to see the best version of dionte because
[1:13:23] he knows what's on online he knows what he's in against very very very tough determined derrick
[1:13:30] chisora and so dionte knows that to do what he has to do to win spectacularly
[1:13:35] has to be ready and so you're seeing you're going to see the dionte wilder that that you will
[1:13:40] remember forever uh the version you're going to see is not the man you see now with these smiles
[1:13:46] and and and and polite you know i told i've stated it before you know we we were friends but on fight
[1:13:56] night even the fight week it won't be the same it can't be the same you know we are two warriors
[1:14:03] and the warriors are ready to go to war there you go a little snippet of what it's like
[1:14:11] to be um i guess in the mind of dionte wild as he prepares for what will be i guess the toughest
[1:14:16] fight of each career the next one's always the toughest one and this one means so much to him
[1:14:20] as well malik again you can provide just an incredible insight what is he like in camp
[1:14:26] you get some fighters that are happy some fighters that are angry in camp right because
[1:14:30] camps are always difficult what's dionte white well he's like a happy medium um he's happy
[1:14:35] he come in the gym with love but the minute that dionte put the gloves on it's time to spar
[1:14:41] scene no fighter dude with 18 20 ounce gloves on what i've seen dionte wilder do to sparring guys
[1:14:48] in the ring i'm talking about concussive knocking people out cold making people snore all of that
[1:14:53] because once you get in the ring everything is serious even the floor where he take his
[1:14:57] floor work serious something that i've learned uh from him and jd's they monitor very well
[1:15:03] the shadow box they try their best to monitor the habits and stop them from being a creature
[1:15:08] of habit so all these things he focused on but was really underrated
[1:15:11] about him to me is his dedication to actually training camp when he's in it when he's in he'll
[1:15:17] do whatever it is you ask him when he's in it he'll get the right recovery like you know what
[1:15:21] i mean that's just who he is so training camp a lot of time with the with dionte when i was
[1:15:25] experiencing be very violent but also a lot of good times as well that would go on again another
[1:15:29] thing i think that's really on the radar of dionte and people talk about his power and his right hand
[1:15:34] but i think his job is actually a lot better than people give him credit for would you agree with
[1:15:38] that yes absolutely i also would
[1:15:41] say too at times he's got away from this chat there was a time that people used to praise
[1:15:45] dionte about his jab but i believe all punches the more and more they knock people out believe it or
[1:15:50] not the more sometimes they forget how they got the knockout and a lot of his early knockouts came
[1:15:55] from behind his time he earns like jab early on he got away from it and just start gunning for the
[1:16:00] right hand gunning for the right hand but when he's locked in behind the system keeping his
[1:16:04] knees been in his chin down and shooting that jab it's very few heavyweights that can deal with him
[1:16:09] and i'm looking forward to him being re-motivated
[1:16:11] and doing the right thing on saturday night against tesoro when you say re-motivated don't
[1:16:16] want to put words in your mouth does that mean he was demotivated for the jiang and parker fights or
[1:16:22] outside issues like yes what was the problem well he's very transparent about that uh during those
[1:16:28] training camps that he was going through so much life issues but he was trying his best to push
[1:16:32] through it he even shared what you guys experienced in both of those training camps where he would be
[1:16:36] shedding tears because he would be going through so many other life issues and at a fighter at a
[1:16:41] high level those things can affect you they just can't and as you've seen in the performances they
[1:16:46] perfected it they they affected him like you know what i mean he wasn't as focused he disengaged a
[1:16:51] bit too much and he didn't really stick to the proper game plans to defeat to defeat those
[1:16:56] fighters and those are dangerous guys big jane joseph parker he fought them when they was at
[1:17:02] their best joseph parker was at his best during that time jane was at his best during that time
[1:17:07] and he got beat by both of them but that came from not being
[1:17:11] focused that came from having outside things outside the gym in life that we all go through
[1:17:16] he was dealing with him trying to juggle three or four balls at once concerning problems
[1:17:21] and this time he's back with don house don house always was around even when i was a head coach
[1:17:27] but now they got a lot of one-on-one time together and i believe they hard work can possibly pay off
[1:17:31] depending on how deontay listened to don house in the corner carl do you think it's a great point
[1:17:36] you make about who he lost to in zhang and parker at the time carl i think were two top five
[1:17:42] top seven heavyweights you know very dangerous zhang 300 pounds parker on a run do you think we
[1:17:48] maybe look too much into the defeats rather than looking at who he lost to yeah a little bit of
[1:17:53] that and yard into the fact that the things that malik was saying there and look see for me i was
[1:17:58] a i was a fighter that in a camp for me anyway everything had to be perfect if i have distractions
[1:18:04] and things going on that i can't control outside of my camp they're always in the back of my head
[1:18:12] my life to be perfect going into a fight and i feel like that's a sense but similar to what
[1:18:18] happened at dionte's i mean it sounds like from the things that he was telling us and he was very
[1:18:22] transparent there was a lot of chaos around that time so preparing for someone like zhang or joseph
[1:18:28] parker when mentally you're probably not all there ideally it's not the place you want to be are you
[1:18:35] surprised that he did continue after gd zhang there were question marks about will we see dionte again
[1:18:42] you know build up and sell us the aj fight then he got stopped were you surprised that he did
[1:18:46] continue i wasn't surprised because dionte just had the heart of a lion like he's a warrior by
[1:18:51] heart he follows the warrior code and i believe he is just as stubborn in his way in the fight
[1:18:57] the same way tesoro is i believe he don't know how to turn away i believe he refused to go out
[1:19:04] after the zhang fight off a knockout like that i believe that he would have had a better chance
[1:19:08] at probably thinking about retirement if the fight was closed when he lost on distance
[1:19:12] but the fact that he knew he got knocked out he didn't want to go out like that that was a big
[1:19:16] thing around his name and he wanted to fix it and so far you got to give him credit he's been
[1:19:21] addressing all his life issues publicly he's got back in the gym very heavy with dine house and he
[1:19:26] has a big fight here with derek so we're going to see if all those things if all those things get
[1:19:31] him back to being what he once was let's play a bit of a game here let's just say wilder does win
[1:19:37] let's say wilder and if he does win let's be honest it's going to come via stoppage points
[1:19:42] if he wins and you are he's manager promoter who are you putting him with in next um well it
[1:19:50] depends what you want if you want the most money i mean and the guy that's mentioned welder's name
[1:19:55] actually is azusa now people will scoff at that and say you know he shouldn't be close to you sick
[1:20:00] but in some ways you would agree but who seeks reason for fighting wilder is because he's fought
[1:20:06] all the rest of the top guys of this generation apart from wilder so i mean if you're the guy
[1:20:12] if you're looking after well
[1:20:13] there and you beat derek chisora i would say eight uh number one but aj is another fight
[1:20:19] because that's a fight that's been talked about for so long as well it hasn't materialized so
[1:20:24] one of them two i'd be happy with i'm a boxing here as you all know
[1:20:30] in saying that i am very interested i love watching knockout artists face each other i'm
[1:20:36] not talking about just heavy-handed fighters fighting each other i'm talking about knockout
[1:20:39] artists facing each other and we're at the end on the second half of deontay wilder career
[1:20:44] i would love to see him face of fabio wortley here not literally here but here on the other side of
[1:20:50] the pond possibly at the o2 arena wherever itself two knockout artists and i'm talking about one
[1:20:55] punch knockout it kind of puts me in a frame of mind of when jerald mckellen fought julian jackson
[1:21:03] the game needs it the division i would love to see it but as far as the big picture obviously we all
[1:21:08] would want to see the full sick thing we all would want to see other things but i would just love for
[1:21:12] him and fabio to get it on to knockout artists thank you all for watching this video if you liked it, payment us a big thumbs up if you liked it, subscribe to the channel and hit the notification bell. I'll see you next time!
[1:21:15] even over here I hear some time of the comparisons of wow he's knocking out
[1:21:19] people how wild it was well we need to get him in Wilder in a ring so they can
[1:21:23] settle and see who's the real knockout artist the fact that you guys have
[1:21:26] mentioned three different names again tells you just how big a star Wilder is
[1:21:30] and again the carrot being dangled in his face you said AJ and Usyk you said
[1:21:35] Wardley all three fights are enormous yes especially Wardley wins a world
[1:21:38] title all three that's what I guess that's what we have to wait and see how
[1:21:43] water looks on Saturday while it looks good I guess the show continues the
[1:21:48] train keeps going on anybody at this stage of their career it's about how you
[1:21:51] look really isn't it then both guys will be looking to win but if weather I mean
[1:21:58] wait there's a guy who's very very lucky because he could be a male behind in a
[1:22:01] fight and he can rely on that power to get him out of trouble I've seen it
[1:22:05] against Lewis Ortiz where he fought him in Las Vegas I was sitting ring safe
[1:22:09] watch them being comprehensively out pointed but he never
[1:22:13] passed
[1:22:14] because it was like I know what the land I'm going to get you and the shot the
[1:22:18] first shot that hit him and hit him on his forehead I mean that's that should
[1:22:21] be breaking your hand not not gonna go I think just shoot the guys bar is
[1:22:26] absolutely extraordinary he's here you know I'm gonna give water and excuse I
[1:22:31] live close to this area traffic can be monstrous it can be a bit horrible but
[1:22:36] he's about 45 minutes late but I won't tell him his way but he is here and he
[1:22:40] looks hungry Malik he looks
[1:22:43] motivated almost feel like there's a big weight lifted off Wilder's shoulders
[1:22:47] yes and he almost seems to be walking into this one with a bit more freedom
[1:22:51] yes and I believe that he wants to hurt your sword more than people really
[1:22:55] realize I think these guys have done a good job with the promotion um you know
[1:22:59] what's real interesting I think like even though they have so much love and
[1:23:02] respect for each other it's something that's been like an enigma that's kind
[1:23:07] of still been interesting about the press conference and I know what it is
[1:23:10] we want to know and see these guys turn that love
[1:23:13] into violence immediately I believe they're going to do that Saturday night
[1:23:17] and I can't wait for it indeed Chisora we know what he brings nicknamed war
[1:23:21] Chisora the bronze bomber as well one thing Chisora has promised is that he is
[1:23:25] going to drown Deontay Wilder he's going in to take him into deep waters this is
[1:23:30] what he's been telling us 100 fights between us brother once that Bell rings
[1:23:40] for 12 rounds we are no friends 12 rounds that's cute it's gonna be a war one punch Derek
[1:23:50] Chisora's girl was able to take
[1:24:22] Derek Chisora was able to take
[1:24:24] Derek Chisora and Deontay Wilder a bit of fish and you can understand the
[1:24:26] storyline there what is Derek Chisora's best win
[1:24:31] best win
[1:24:33] you put me on the spot there
[1:24:36] sorry can I name a few
[1:24:39] Monique Scott
[1:24:43] Joyce Carlos Takkam Otto Bonin I think he beat
[1:24:46] Hellinius and I was like I think he beat Hellinius
[1:24:48] even in afraid that he didn't win but well Even is in fear that he won though
[1:24:50] the hardest fate of his career was alexander russi people seem to forget about that um
[1:24:56] what a good win for i'd say big malik scott probably his best one here we go
[1:25:01] yes and i want to go with i believe his fights with pouliv are very underrated i think derrick
[1:25:06] had to really dig down especially the fight that was the second fight i believe was here correct
[1:25:10] yeah and i believe that fight derrick dug down and he showed derrick defense come across as if
[1:25:16] he don't have defense because he's wore your sword he comes forward but believe it or not
[1:25:20] there's a heart to his madness when he's coming forward a lot of times he gets under shot a lot
[1:25:25] of times he picks shots off with his arms very well i would go with the poulet fight it's almost
[1:25:30] for that cross arm defense that joe fraser yes joe fraser and it's not easy right because
[1:25:35] tesoro is a lot bigger than joe fraser in order to kind of bounce up and down a lot shows his
[1:25:39] fitness as well absolutely and he always say most fighters strange for training for boxing
[1:25:44] i train strictly for
[1:25:46] condition and the reason that he's saying that is because he don't have an identity crisis he
[1:25:50] know who he is he know he don't have slick movements he know he's not a pure boxer but
[1:25:54] what he do know is he has an engine that could possibly drown any man in the world and that's
[1:25:59] what he's looking forward to trying to do i think it's the heart as well because if you look at
[1:26:02] derek and how he fights he's non-stop from the from the first moment to the point where after
[1:26:07] two rounds you're looking at derek thinking he's going to blow a gasket he's going to tower out
[1:26:12] he continues to fight like that for 12 rounds unbelievable heart
[1:26:16] unbelievable engine and just a will and determination to get over the line all the time
[1:26:20] the reason i asked that question about the best win would this be his best win oh absolutely that
[1:26:26] would be for me yeah i would say yes it has everything to do with the timing it has everything
[1:26:31] to do with the promotion and believe it or not it has everything to do with it it's almost like the
[1:26:34] game is giving him something back that he put in and would have derek tesoro put in this game a
[1:26:39] bunch of guts and glory so him getting a win i would totally understand but wilder has an equalizer
[1:26:46] could water win on points i can't see it to be honest i think that he um because of derek stelle
[1:26:53] and i fight he's going to be on him a lot um he'll be winning rounds i think derek i mean like we said
[1:26:59] we talked about the lewis rt he's like weller wasn't concerned that he was a male behind them
[1:27:03] on the scorecard because it's almost like once i land that's it and i think he'll be
[1:27:08] is having the same approach in this fight can he win on points
[1:27:11] i mean he can but i don't think i don't think he can in the same sentence give me the the the
[1:27:17] point of view with wilder um obviously look wbc heavyweight champion should have the respect of
[1:27:22] the american public are they are they still behind water they moved on are they looking at the next
[1:27:27] the next heavyweight division in america i believe certain fighters come through boxing
[1:27:32] that they don't just have fans they have a cult of things deontay wilder don't just have permanent
[1:27:38] fans he has a quote you can't tell them nothing about deontay wilder i see that quote in that
[1:27:43] fan base is pretty big in the united states and america of america so yes his fan base is still
[1:27:49] good people still believe in him and you you've got to realize they're going to continue to believe
[1:27:53] in him because he gave them so many exciting nights not by decision they watch him violently
[1:27:59] give entertainment and knock people out cold give people shakes while he was on the ground this is
[1:28:04] entertainment and deontay wilder did that more than 40 times america is not going to forget that
[1:28:09] and they standing by it's kind of crazy isn't it that derek chisora is fighting deontay water
[1:28:12] before anthony johnson
[1:28:13] is yeah it is crazy it's a crazy sport isn't it really and but and listen it's a good fight
[1:28:25] two guys at a similar part of their career i'd but i'm very very excited for what i think will
[1:28:31] be an absolute war indeed um all right let's hear from both wilder andrews or i was lucky enough or
[1:28:37] unlucky or lucky enough to be in the middle take it whichever way you can they did speak to each
[1:28:42] other it was a face off i'm going to show you
[1:28:43] a small snippet of that as well bro i love you you're my dog i swear to god i'm gonna be
[1:28:55] you don't understand he is it's a you haven't got a clue what's about to happen on the fourth
[1:29:06] everybody says they have a clue but they ain't got a clue so when you come prepared no excuses
[1:29:14] because i am turning up as you guys americans say are we turning up i'm coming i am coming there's no
[1:29:23] ways about it i'm coming i'm be very possessed i'm coming yeah and i will win the fight two four
[1:29:35] i've received it roger that but on the other hand i'm coming as well brother and many times i said
[1:29:43] i love you to death man like a real brother the relationship the relationship that we have built
[1:29:48] has been strong you know and after this it's going to be even stronger when you retire i'm
[1:29:54] going to give you a little gift and that's going to be a black eye maybe two if you're lucky
[1:29:58] but i gotta do it
[1:30:01] but i gotta do what i gotta do you know this is this is my time this is my my getting myself back
[1:30:09] together your mind is already on retirement and i'm gonna be gladly to put you in it because this
[1:30:15] is what you want for me for me i'm in a different path i'm in a different journey i'm the most
[1:30:21] happiest i've ever been you know going through it i gotta i gotta do what i gotta do bro
[1:30:28] i'm gonna do what i gotta do bro
[1:30:30] bro
[1:30:32] there's nothing against you but understand when i get in the ring i'm gonna turn into a i'm gonna
[1:30:39] turn into a road man you understand me i like that yeah yeah he's in the building he's in the
[1:30:53] building with his manager shelly finkel long-term manager as well that face-off that was as serious
[1:30:59] as it got that little snippet there these guys are jovial and happy-go-lucky with each other it's
[1:31:04] gonna get serious
[1:31:05] it's gonna get serious i think we know that on saturday night but that moment there which you
[1:31:08] saw was me saying both of you take your glasses off and tell the other person how you're gonna
[1:31:13] win and chisora's like i'm gonna drown you and when he said you don't know what's coming i kind
[1:31:19] of understood what he meant like this is all fun and games but you're gonna go into deep waters
[1:31:25] and i loved it i think i saw a bit until they started laughing i saw both guys lock eyes and
[1:31:31] start to understand this is serious business i think molly could be able to speak to that
[1:31:35] better than me but i think derek is right in the sense that that's how he fights we know what he's
[1:31:40] about he's going to try and drag him into deep waters and it's up to dionte to be able to deal
[1:31:44] with that i think dionte understands that as well this is going to be a difficult fight for however
[1:31:49] long it lasts but he'll be of the the main set i think of ortiz that i could be a male behind this
[1:31:55] fight but once i hit you once that's it game over and that's why he's always got the confidence
[1:32:00] wilder i believe he's 40 41. he looks 10 years younger than that
[1:32:05] yeah like honestly he looks like he's still got so many more years left in him father time gets us
[1:32:12] all though malik correct yes and who knows if it will get him on saturday by the time is undefeated
[1:32:17] but you know what they say black don't crack right don't crack that's what they say
[1:32:20] don't look good he can come to the barbecue
[1:32:27] but uh he's been taking care of himself um like i said he's rejuvenated he's been training hard
[1:32:35] and uh you're right he does look i would say 32 33 years old if anything so that goes to show
[1:32:41] there's no real wear and tear a lot of times you can see fighters that fought as long as dionte
[1:32:45] before they even get in the ring they look more than their age he doesn't look that way
[1:32:49] and look like he's ready to put on a good performance saturday night and i'm looking
[1:32:52] forward to it is this annoying for the fighters carl i mean obviously there's some things you
[1:32:57] just have to do right yeah you have to go to the media public workouts you have to do the
[1:33:01] press conference ultimately the fighters just want to be in the hotels getting massages
[1:33:05] in and out or do they like this that kind of second to last time to really look into your
[1:33:10] opponent's eyes that depends who you are really i think that it was different for me because i
[1:33:14] was always someone who was struggling to make weight and to do one of these things so close
[1:33:19] to the way in was always a bit of a nuisance of him being honest but the boys don't have that worry
[1:33:24] um and i would imagine knowing their two characters they probably quite enjoy a press conference yeah
[1:33:30] this is uh an incredible turnout by the way again yes it is members of the media this is all members
[1:33:35] in front of us right here right now and it goes to show the excitement people
[1:33:40] have for Chisora versus Wilder it's an incredible fight 50 fights each is
[1:33:45] incredible as well I mean heavyweights of today's era just don't get to those
[1:33:49] numbers mostly get into 30s max for these two to be cracking on to a hundred
[1:33:54] combined fights is incredible I think so too and Deontay said he wasn't even
[1:33:58] aware that it was this was his 50th fight in some say he's just saying that
[1:34:03] but I really believe in this game fighters can have so many fights that
[1:34:07] and they strive to chase everything that have to do with legacy and not counting
[1:34:13] what's going on the outside life that you can end up again you'd have been you
[1:34:16] had your wars you didn't have been through big fights you'd have been
[1:34:19] through little fights so yeah you could lose the number of my but for both of
[1:34:22] these guys that have to be on a 50th fight and they fight each other they
[1:34:26] always say everything's supposed to happen when it's supposed to happen I
[1:34:29] believe them to fight and this happened at the perfect time speak to that call
[1:34:32] Fitch
[1:34:33] fights each it's a number that in the heavyweight division I mean we see it in
[1:34:37] the lower weight classes because they seem to have more fights yeah but in the
[1:34:40] heavyweight division you don't get to those kind of numbers but even in the
[1:34:43] lower weight classes and these days someone's ahead 50 number or 50 freight
[1:34:48] is a is a rare number so credit the boys but like you said I'd be doing it in a
[1:34:53] heavyweight division and for Deontay to begin saying I want to continue after
[1:34:57] who knows he might have 60 I mean this is the number that used to hit back in
[1:35:02] the 50s and 60s
[1:35:02] when guys had that amount of fights but it doesn't really happen anymore so
[1:35:06] credit to both boys for fighting so much so often for so long and forgiveness all
[1:35:12] the shows that they have credit to you two as well for talking for so long we
[1:35:16] are now ready to go both men are here let's throw it up to Adam Smith for this
[1:35:21] one Derek Chisora versus Deontay Wilder press conference so there we go hi
[1:35:36] everybody a very warm welcome back to the main event a huge
[1:35:42] heavyweight collision in the blue ribbon division two legendary warriors
[1:35:49] and let's bring them in for the final press conference just a couple of days
[1:35:56] to go two more sleeps for the pair of them from Tuscaloosa in Alabama he has a
[1:36:05] record of 44 victories in 49 fights 43 by K.R.
[1:36:13] 097.73 percent knockout ratio for bronze medalist in the Olympics of course he is
[1:36:24] the bronze bomber the man the bomb squad the wonderful former WBC heavyweight
[1:36:32] champion of the world Deontay Wilder also in fight number 50
[1:36:55] isn't that incredible 100 between the pair come
[1:36:58] Deontay Wilder also in fight number 50 isn't that incredible 100 between the pair come Deontay Wilder also in fight number 50 isn't that incredible 100 between the pair come
[1:36:58] Saturday night he won the ABA title I think 20 years ago maybe even here the
[1:37:05] former British Commonwealth and European champion two-time world challenger but
[1:37:11] so much more to the sport the cult character the entertainer the
[1:37:18] unpredictable the wonderful won't we miss him when he's gone Derek Chisora
[1:37:26] welcome everybody
[1:38:34] so they've entertained us for so long they've excited us and finally they come
[1:38:42] together Derek Chisora and Deontay Wilder we cannot wait Deontay let's start
[1:38:52] with you welcome back to Britain saw you a few weeks ago it was all very sweet
[1:38:58] and respectful at the press conference down by the river we're now at your call
[1:39:03] the home of British boxing fight face fight eyes on you now
[1:39:08] 48 hours to go till you're meeting Derek Chisora what now ticks through the
[1:39:14] mind of the bronze bomber just ready to go you know I mean the talking has been
[1:39:21] done the training has been been done here we are the final presser I don't
[1:39:29] think we have left is the weigh-in and time to fight you know the hardest part
[1:39:33] is just waiting you know this is the hardest part waiting on that time and
[1:39:38] And I'm ready to go.
[1:39:40] I've been telling everybody I had to heal, you know,
[1:39:42] and it took a long time for me to heal.
[1:39:45] But, you know, sometimes it takes a long time to get to the point
[1:39:51] because sometimes we can rush things as being human.
[1:39:54] We never want to be patient.
[1:39:55] We want things right then and there.
[1:39:57] And this healing, I had to wait.
[1:40:00] I had to take time.
[1:40:00] I had to heal physically, mentally, emotionally.
[1:40:04] And I think I've done that, Adam.
[1:40:07] And come Saturday night, I will prove that, you know.
[1:40:09] It took you some time to get here tonight.
[1:40:13] Was that the good old London traffic
[1:40:15] or some mind games late on to your old rival?
[1:40:20] No, not at all, you know.
[1:40:22] It was a little bit of traffic, but also, you know,
[1:40:25] coming from training, getting myself together to take a shower.
[1:40:28] You know, I'm big on hygiene.
[1:40:30] So I had to come and get myself together, get myself right.
[1:40:35] And sorry for the tardiness, but we're here.
[1:40:39] We'll let you off.
[1:40:40] I appreciate that.
[1:40:41] Do you feel right?
[1:40:43] Do you feel, I suppose, we can answer this question over and over again,
[1:40:47] as good as ever, but you have to be now, don't you,
[1:40:49] at this stage in your career?
[1:40:51] This is last chance saloon.
[1:40:54] I have to feel right, you know.
[1:40:56] It's many times I should have canceled different fights
[1:40:58] because, you know, physically I wasn't there, but mentally,
[1:41:02] I just wanted to see what I would do in certain wars, you know.
[1:41:05] Like I said before, I only got into this business
[1:41:07] because I was a father that risked my life,
[1:41:11] to save a girl who was spun a bill for their life.
[1:41:14] You know, that was the only.
[1:41:15] I come from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where we believe in football and basketball,
[1:41:19] mostly football.
[1:41:21] And as a child, you want to do as you see.
[1:41:23] And that was my plans all along.
[1:41:26] You know, knowing that I couldn't go to school anymore
[1:41:28] and participate in those things to make me a professional,
[1:41:32] I had to go to the school of hard knocks and join the gym.
[1:41:36] And, you know, and it came to be boxing.
[1:41:40] And here I am.
[1:41:42] And here I am now, you know, so like I said before,
[1:41:45] I've been been selfless for a long time.
[1:41:48] And at this point in time in my life, I'm selfish.
[1:41:50] So I'm going to enjoy this these times that I have.
[1:41:53] And because I know when it when it's over, when I do say I've hung up the gloves,
[1:41:58] you know, people are going to miss me and I'm not coming back, you know, at all.
[1:42:02] You know, I am going to be one of those people that say when I retire,
[1:42:05] you don't have to worry about me coming back every week saying I'm back.
[1:42:08] You know, surprise now when I say I'm gone, I'm gone and that's it.
[1:42:13] So enjoy me while I'm here.
[1:42:15] We will enjoy you.
[1:42:17] We have enjoyed you and we're ready to see another big performance Saturday night.
[1:42:25] Deontay Wilder, are you locked and loaded?
[1:42:27] Have a little look at your opponent over there because I'm going to go through him in a minute.
[1:42:32] He's going to bring the war.
[1:42:33] What are you bringing Saturday night?
[1:42:35] Man, I'm bringing a lot of things.
[1:42:37] You know, I, I, I got things that I'm wearing.
[1:42:42] I even got this mouthpiece that I'm putting out there.
[1:42:45] It called the.
[1:42:46] Uh, it's called.
[1:42:48] Uh, Zeus and you can go online at, at, um, at Zeus at that's X E dash us.com.
[1:42:57] And they'll say, uh, it's a mouthpiece that's for performance and for, for professional athletes.
[1:43:03] And it's just something about how the jaw is lined together.
[1:43:06] How it gives you so much power, give you energy and, uh, give you, give you things that you never had before, you know, and I also will be representing CXP as well with the new technology.
[1:43:19] Uh, muscle.
[1:43:20] Memory that I will be wearing under my garment as well, that will give me the movement and that mobile hostile energy that I need to perform and do everything I need.
[1:43:30] You understand?
[1:43:31] I know that London, they love warriors, but what happened when a warrior come against a, a freak of nature, you know, Derek bring, he bring pressure, but I bring, I bring a power that in bloodlines, Derek, he's coming to fight, but I'm coming with a dad with detonation.
[1:43:58] And in that ring or the O2 arena, it will be a fight and it's going to eat and it's going to end in that with an explosion.
[1:44:09] So I don't want y'all guys to, to mistaken us from the friendship, but the things that we've been, that's been going on, it's going to be live.
[1:44:17] It's going to be real and I can't wait for it.
[1:44:21] And I'm going to tell Derek, I hope he bring his heart because I'm going to take that too.
[1:44:27] Okay.
[1:44:27] Derek, he's taking your heart 43 knockouts in his 44 victories, but you bring.
[1:44:35] Okay. Derek, he's taking your heart 43 knockouts in his 44 victories, but you bring.
[1:44:35] The war.
[1:44:36] One, two.
[1:44:38] One, two.
[1:44:40] Is this on?
[1:44:41] That's the one.
[1:44:42] Is this on?
[1:44:43] No, I'm joking.
[1:44:43] Listen, uh, uh, listen, I think everybody knows what time it is when I get in the ring.
[1:44:51] You know, um, there's no point of trying to say, oh, I was not ready or this and this.
[1:44:59] Boxing is so easy.
[1:45:00] You know, it's put your hands up and hit the other guy.
[1:45:04] That's it.
[1:45:04] That's it.
[1:45:06] That is it.
[1:45:07] Everybody complicates boxing by, or doing all this.
[1:45:11] And there's no, no boxing is so easy.
[1:45:12] Just put your hands on your chin and rush to the other guy and hit him.
[1:45:16] That's what I'm going to do.
[1:45:18] So, um, I've done it from 49 fights.
[1:45:21] Some I've won, some I've lost, you know, um, but I keep bouncing back, but this one, this time I won't be bouncing back.
[1:45:28] I've been getting out of the ring and going home.
[1:45:31] Um, listen, the anti-water great power, you know, great, great power, but I can guarantee you that there's no point of when you come and sit down and you won't be
[1:45:43] sitting down, you're going to be standing up because I am starting so fast that this fight will not see 12 rounds.
[1:45:53] And I hope these gum should Zeus helps him out or whatever.
[1:45:59] He's gone to give him the energy.
[1:46:03] Cause I know what energy I need.
[1:46:06] I need that crazy energy.
[1:46:08] So I don't need Zeus or anybody.
[1:46:11] I just need war and pain.
[1:46:13] That's what I'm bringing.
[1:46:15] You know, I'm going to hit this man everywhere.
[1:46:18] Uh,
[1:46:18] I, I just pray that when nobody's going to come with excuses out of the two of us, I wasn't already, you know, after the fight finished, I hope me and him can sit down and smoke a spliff together.
[1:46:36] Derek, he says, he's going to take your heart.
[1:46:39] I don't think it's been taken yet through your 20 year career.
[1:46:42] How does he do that?
[1:46:43] And how do you stop that happening?
[1:46:46] Oh, he took my heart a long time ago when he said he busted that on his baby mama and busted out on his stomach.
[1:46:54] I was like, wow, Jesus.
[1:46:57] But you know what, you know, you see, I've listened, I don't know, maybe it might be the first guy take my heart, but we'll see how well do you feel at this stage?
[1:47:14] You've got momentum, you've got wins behind you, and it looks to us as though Derek Chisora is rumbling on with great momentum.
[1:47:23] Do you feel you're taking that into the O2 on Saturday night?
[1:47:27] Listen, O2 is going to be buzzing.
[1:47:31] My kids are coming.
[1:47:32] Listen, I don't know, dude, the only hardest thing about O2 for me will be that ring walk, you know, but after the first bell goes, you know, everything will be easy for me.
[1:47:45] But I can guarantee you the first ball that maybe you might even see, we might not even see round two, do you understand?
[1:47:53] Because the way I'm thinking right now, I'm so fit and I'm so ready for this fight, we might not even see round two.
[1:48:03] I can maybe, I might say, you know what, fuck it, let's go.
[1:48:08] What's there?
[1:48:08] What's there?
[1:48:09] What is there?
[1:48:09] To be honest, fuck it, my room's going to say, you know what, fuck this shit, man.
[1:48:13] Let's just go.
[1:48:15] You know, I hope he's ready because I'm just going to say, you know what, fuck this shit, man.
[1:48:19] Let's just fucking go for this shit.
[1:48:22] Yes, I'm like, you know what, fuck it, I am going to do that.
[1:48:24] Fuck it, let's go.
[1:48:26] That's it.
[1:48:27] So there's no way of like, oh, in round two going to do this.
[1:48:31] No, no, no, fuck it.
[1:48:32] I'm going to tell my trainer, say, you know what, fuck it, we're going.
[1:48:35] That's it now.
[1:48:36] That's the game plan.
[1:48:37] Fuck it, we're going.
[1:48:38] A quick apology for that.
[1:48:39] But, you know, the kids, Derek is Derek, he's unpredictable.
[1:48:44] And listen to him.
[1:48:46] It could be one round, this fight.
[1:48:49] Derek, it's that Rufus, it could be one round.
[1:48:52] I listen.
[1:48:53] The name of the game plan, fuck it, let's go.
[1:48:55] Deontay, just a quick reaction.
[1:48:57] One round, it could be for a Chisora win.
[1:49:00] Most definitely.
[1:49:01] You know, the thing is, he ain't got to worry about my power.
[1:49:05] He's just got to worry about not seeing it.
[1:49:06] You know, we know Derek built his name off a pressure, but the pressure don't break me.
[1:49:11] We know Derek built his name off a pressure, but pressure don't break me.
[1:49:15] Pressure only reveals me.
[1:49:17] And what he's going to feel is something that he's never felt in his whole career before.
[1:49:20] Fuck it, let's go.
[1:49:21] Yeah, baby.
[1:49:23] Ah, this is better.
[1:49:25] Hey.
[1:49:26] Fuck it, let's go.
[1:49:26] This is good, right?
[1:49:28] It's not a few weeks to go now.
[1:49:30] We're ready for battle.
[1:49:30] No, Sean, no, pause.
[1:49:32] Fuck it, let's go.
[1:49:34] Oh, man.
[1:49:36] Listen, let's be honest about it.
[1:49:38] We're having fun right now, but I can guarantee you, yeah, yes, he's got power, this man.
[1:49:43] But all I'm saying.
[1:49:44] I'm saying, fuck it, let's go.
[1:49:45] Let's go, baby.
[1:49:46] Let's go, you know.
[1:49:48] It ain't all about the power.
[1:49:50] It's what you ain't going to see.
[1:49:51] It don't matter, bro.
[1:49:53] Bam!
[1:49:53] Let's go.
[1:49:53] Good night.
[1:49:56] Hey, you're making Shirley jump for fuck's sake.
[1:49:59] Get a heart attack.
[1:50:01] Shirley, sit the fuck down.
[1:50:07] Listen, all I'm saying is we're going to have a good time.
[1:50:11] Yes, me and this man here are cool, but we are going to have a good time.
[1:50:16] And when we arrive at O2 Arena, there ain't going to be no, it's going to be, fuck it, let's go.
[1:50:25] Fuck it, let's go.
[1:50:26] Fuck it, let's go.
[1:50:28] Fuck it, let's go.
[1:50:29] Fuck it, let's go.
[1:50:31] Fuck it, let's go.
[1:50:32] Fuck it, let's go.
[1:50:34] The table nearly goes again, Callis Ireland.
[1:50:41] You've been in the middle of huge heavyweight promotions before.
[1:50:46] I remember sitting with you in Manchester when the table did topple over.
[1:50:51] King fight, didn't it, with Derrick and Dillian?
[1:50:52] I just felt the vibrations go there.
[1:50:54] The last time that Derrick did that to me, the table went flying.
[1:50:57] So, yeah, listen, blessed to be here.
[1:51:01] What a fight to be involved in.
[1:51:03] You know, I've been lucky enough to be involved with the Holyfields, the Klitschko's, the David Hayes.
[1:51:09] Massive heavyweight nights.
[1:51:11] This is, I've got to say, the fight I've been most excited to promote at heavyweight.
[1:51:18] It's just too, you know, heavyweight.
[1:51:21] Boxing is one thing, but the characters it produces, the ride I've had with Derrick over the years,
[1:51:26] ups and downs and sidewayses and, you know, obviously, Deontay Wilder speaks for himself,
[1:51:33] longest serving heavyweight WBC champion of all time, hardest punching heavyweight of all time.
[1:51:39] I've got to say, Derrick Chisora, man, got to go down as one of the greatest characters of all time.
[1:51:47] And the journey this man has had.
[1:51:51] Through the sport.
[1:51:53] I remember a show that we did with Derrick.
[1:51:56] Derrick just wanted to get out.
[1:51:57] And I remember you coming over to Germany and you fought like before the cameras went on.
[1:52:00] He just wanted to fight.
[1:52:02] And, you know, and then, you know, went to stadiums in Germany and then he came back over here.
[1:52:07] And, you know, he's what a journey, man.
[1:52:09] What a journey.
[1:52:10] And, you know, we're lucky to be part of it.
[1:52:12] It's the first the first big MF pro show since our inception a few months ago.
[1:52:19] So we're excited to be putting it on.
[1:52:21] Delighted to be working together with Queensbury, you know, with such a long legacy.
[1:52:26] We're the shortest legacy in the business, working with the longest legacy promoter in the business.
[1:52:31] So, you know, as I said before, the undercard nine fights, it's going to be one hell of a night.
[1:52:37] And as as the beautiful global home of boxing DAZN puts it, an icon must fall.
[1:52:46] I think that's a good time to go to DAZN's Alfie Scharman for your thoughts.
[1:52:52] About a this huge heavyweight fight on Saturday night and be the heavyweight scene.
[1:52:59] It's just week after week now, live on DAZN.
[1:53:04] Yeah, thanks, Adam.
[1:53:05] The voice of boxing.
[1:53:08] I mean, I don't know why you are sitting and talking.
[1:53:10] He needs to get up.
[1:53:11] I didn't tell you, you know, talking today for one, two, one, two, one, two.
[1:53:15] Yeah, Alfie, why are you sitting here and talking?
[1:53:18] Because it's our show, Derek.
[1:53:20] We approved your show.
[1:53:21] You approved it.
[1:53:22] I wanted to go to Sky.
[1:53:23] And then you guys jumped on it.
[1:53:26] We're not at Sky.
[1:53:27] Alfie, come on.
[1:53:28] You're not talking today.
[1:53:30] I was going to wish you the best of luck.
[1:53:31] Thank you very much, Alfie.
[1:53:32] I love you, bro.
[1:53:33] But I know your Tinder profile has been booming up with the chicks because you're sitting next to Deontay Wilder.
[1:53:39] It's Shelly.
[1:53:41] No, I'm joking.
[1:53:42] Listen, yeah, thanks.
[1:53:44] It will go on longer if I keep getting interrupted.
[1:53:46] I just want to say it's great to be here at the historic Guild Call.
[1:53:52] You know, as you said, the tagline here, an icon will fall.
[1:53:54] You know, despite the back and forth, you know, Derek obviously is an icon.
[1:53:59] And Deontay has achieved so much in the heavyweight game.
[1:54:03] On Saturday, there will be fireworks.
[1:54:06] This time, seven days ago, I was sitting, introducing heavyweight season and what's happened since then.
[1:54:11] On Saturday, we saw Moses Ntalma knockout, Jermaine Franklin, probably the future heavyweight option.
[1:54:16] At last.
[1:54:21] We're not talking about anybody else.
[1:54:22] What's my microphone off?
[1:54:25] Is it on?
[1:54:25] It's on.
[1:54:26] Go on.
[1:54:26] Yeah, go on.
[1:54:27] It's on.
[1:54:27] Okay.
[1:54:29] And here we are with these guys, the icons.
[1:54:33] I think on Saturday, someone's getting stopped.
[1:54:35] Listen, we as a broadcaster are traditionally agnostic.
[1:54:40] I know who I'd like to win, but the very best of luck to both men on Saturday.
[1:54:45] We look forward to seeing you all there, live and exclusive, only on DAZN.
[1:54:48] Thank you.
[1:54:52] Thanks.
[1:54:53] Thanks, Alfie.
[1:54:54] I'm sure you and Derek will get a beer after the fight.
[1:54:56] Right, over to Amir Abdallah from MF Pro.
[1:55:01] Nice to see you.
[1:55:02] What a great event it is on Saturday for MF Pro and for British Boxing to see these two guys in the ring.
[1:55:09] Don't do it, Derek.
[1:55:10] Don't do it.
[1:55:11] I'll bet any money I know your jacket's from.
[1:55:14] Gucci.
[1:55:15] So once they give us a sponsorship for the next MF Pro show, in association with DAZN, we will promote them.
[1:55:23] Everybody, thank you so much for coming out.
[1:55:24] Everybody tuning in around the world, live on DAZN exclusively.
[1:55:27] We have the fight of the year.
[1:55:31] Derek DeSora, Deontay Wilder, it's not about titles, it's not about rankings, it's not about anything.
[1:55:36] It's about the funnest fight in the heavyweight division.
[1:55:39] You've got the master of knockouts, Deontay Wilder, the heaviest punching heavyweight in the history of the sport,
[1:55:47] against the heart and pride of Derek DeSora.
[1:55:50] Let me talk.
[1:55:53] When Derek called me for this fight...
[1:55:55] I didn't call you.
[1:55:56] Stop.
[1:55:57] Stop.
[1:55:57] I didn't call you.
[1:56:00] Turn that mic off.
[1:56:01] I didn't call you.
[1:56:02] Conversation.
[1:56:02] The conversation went just like this.
[1:56:04] Just like this.
[1:56:07] Go on, go on.
[1:56:07] Conversation went just like this.
[1:56:09] Go on, go on.
[1:56:09] Hold on.
[1:56:10] Go on.
[1:56:10] I did not call you.
[1:56:11] Get it right.
[1:56:12] Okay.
[1:56:13] Okay.
[1:56:13] Are you done?
[1:56:14] So the conversation went just like this.
[1:56:16] Yeah, go on.
[1:56:18] Brother Amir, yeah?
[1:56:19] Yeah.
[1:56:20] I got to fight for MF Pro, yeah?
[1:56:23] Yeah.
[1:56:24] Okay.
[1:56:25] Is that what you...
[1:56:26] Let me talk, Derek.
[1:56:27] Derek, let me just finish talking.
[1:56:30] Yeah.
[1:56:30] I want to give you guys a gift, yeah?
[1:56:33] Sure, Derek.
[1:56:34] What's the fight?
[1:56:35] I want my last fight, yeah?
[1:56:37] To be with MF Pro, yeah?
[1:56:39] Okay.
[1:56:41] And I want...
[1:56:42] So I thought he was going to give me a soft touch.
[1:56:44] You know, somebody he can take his 50th fight in London to go home.
[1:56:48] He said, I want Deontay, yeah?
[1:56:51] I go, Wilder?
[1:56:53] And he's like, who the fuck else is called Deontay?
[1:56:56] And I said, okay.
[1:56:58] I said, Derek, are you sure you want this fight for your last fight?
[1:57:02] So because, you know, Derek and I have a personal relationship,
[1:57:05] but because I've never dealt with him in a professional sense,
[1:57:08] I called my partner, Kelly, and I said, Kelly,
[1:57:12] this guy's a nutcase.
[1:57:13] He wants for his last fight, Deontay Wilder.
[1:57:16] So we got the team on the call, and we have the best team in boxing.
[1:57:20] Kelly and Nissa Sauerlin, legends in the sport.
[1:57:23] Mams Taylor, the mastermind behind Misfits, KSI.
[1:57:25] Let's give them a big round of applause for the MF Pro team.
[1:57:31] And the guys were like, are you serious?
[1:57:34] Are we going to launch with Wilder Chisora?
[1:57:37] And then Derek's like, Chisora Wilder, yeah?
[1:57:40] I said, okay, fine, Chisora Wilder.
[1:57:41] And the fight was made.
[1:57:43] I called Shelly, who I have a great relationship with.
[1:57:46] He called Deontay, and they're like, yeah, we're in.
[1:57:50] The fight literally took a half hour, 45 minutes to get made.
[1:57:52] It would have taken shorter if Derek would have called back faster.
[1:57:56] But the fight got made quick because both guys wanted.
[1:57:59] Throughout this promotion, guys, I've been wanting to see Derek flip a table.
[1:58:02] I've been wanting to see Deontay scream and push.
[1:58:05] It's just not that kind of promotion.
[1:58:07] This is a buildup of two legends, two icons in the sport.
[1:58:12] And one of those icons will fall on April 4th.
[1:58:16] Deontay will bring everything that he's known to bring.
[1:58:19] Deontay's mentality in this fight is different than I've ever seen.
[1:58:23] You can't provoke him.
[1:58:24] You can't push him.
[1:58:25] He's a lot more emotionally, spiritually sound than I've ever seen.
[1:58:30] And to me, that's a very dangerous guy.
[1:58:32] I was sitting with Mike Tyson a couple of weeks ago, and we were talking about the fight.
[1:58:38] And Mike goes, this is one of the most interesting matchups in the history of this division.
[1:58:42] Because of the markup of this fight and the personalities of this fight.
[1:58:47] Derek's going to bring it.
[1:58:49] He's going to bring it for 12 rounds.
[1:58:51] And outside of Alexander Usyk, and I'll say this confidently, Derek is the most conditioned guy in boxing.
[1:58:57] I've never seen somebody as conditioned as him.
[1:59:00] He's going to bring it.
[1:59:01] If he has to go 12 three-minute rounds of nonstop pressure, he will.
[1:59:05] But Deontay's only got to be great for one second until he clips him with that God-given talent of power that he's got.
[1:59:11] April 4th.
[1:59:13] You will not want to miss this.
[1:59:14] One icon will fall.
[1:59:16] Jasora Wilder.
[1:59:17] Don't miss it exclusively on DAZN pay-per-view.
[1:59:20] Brought to you by MF Pro.
[1:59:22] Thank you.
[1:59:24] Very nice.
[1:59:29] Well done.
[1:59:29] I sounded a bit aggressive with the way you were speaking.
[1:59:32] I was a bit aggressive.
[1:59:32] I don't know why.
[1:59:33] I think he's excited.
[1:59:34] Thank you, yeah.
[1:59:34] Just excited, right?
[1:59:36] 35, 40 minutes to make the fight, Shelly Finkel.
[1:59:39] That's one of the easier ones in your long, illustrious career.
[1:59:43] You're coming off that great win for Willie Hutchinson last Saturday.
[1:59:46] So, is it going to be twice come Saturday night?
[1:59:50] You're here for a big one now.
[1:59:53] First of all.
[1:59:54] Is that working?
[1:59:54] Is it working?
[1:59:56] Yeah.
[1:59:56] Okay.
[1:59:57] First of all, Amir, you're speaking very well.
[2:00:00] I'm very impressed with this.
[2:00:02] I have a good mentor in Shelly Finkel.
[2:00:04] Thank you.
[2:00:05] My first experience with Derek was ducking when he threw that table over.
[2:00:12] I was handling Klitschko at the time.
[2:00:15] And I said, what is this?
[2:00:17] And I learned the Chisora storm when it came.
[2:00:23] And in the years that followed, Derek and I have a very, very mutual respect for each other on many levels.
[2:00:32] But it always seems I'm on the other side of the fence.
[2:00:36] And I have to root against him, even though I really like him.
[2:00:41] And I'm going to root very hard against him.
[2:00:45] And I think Deontay is going to do.
[2:00:49] And I'm going to do what Klitschko did.
[2:00:50] Thank you.
[2:00:52] Shelly, just one more before.
[2:00:53] Sure.
[2:00:54] I just want to know, you've been around Deontay from the beginning.
[2:00:57] You know him so, so well.
[2:00:59] What makes you really confident ahead of this one?
[2:01:02] Because his form's not been the best in the last two or three years.
[2:01:05] What is going to be special on Saturday night?
[2:01:08] You know, I'm just not a believer in crying over spilt milk.
[2:01:13] I know what happened with the Parker fight.
[2:01:17] I know about an accident he had there.
[2:01:20] Two days before.
[2:01:23] But we were also signed at that point for two fights against Joshua.
[2:01:32] The contracts were done.
[2:01:34] But fate has a way of intervening.
[2:01:39] The man is the strongest-minded person you'll ever meet.
[2:01:45] He's gone through a lot.
[2:01:47] He's overcome it.
[2:01:48] I've seen it personally.
[2:01:50] And now he has to prove it against an indomitable will who will be coming at him.
[2:01:55] And I believe he'll do it.
[2:02:00] Deontay, they say setbacks inspire comebacks.
[2:02:04] You're 40 years old.
[2:02:06] Not that you look it.
[2:02:06] You keep yourself in impeccable shape.
[2:02:09] Has camp been as good as it could possibly be at this stage?
[2:02:13] And do you have the reflexes and the speed still to land that dynamite power of yours?
[2:02:23] Camp has been amazing.
[2:02:24] You know, I can't say nothing less but amazing.
[2:02:28] I've had an amazing spa.
[2:02:29] I have an amazing team around me.
[2:02:32] I have amazing doctors around me.
[2:02:35] I'm really speechless for what happened in camp.
[2:02:39] I can't explain.
[2:02:40] Even people that have witnessed, you know, sparring, different guys coming in.
[2:02:46] We had great guys that pressured me all through camp.
[2:02:50] You know, mimicked Derrick to the T, you know, and brought their own style as well.
[2:02:54] And I can't explain.
[2:02:57] There's no words to express or to explain how it went.
[2:03:01] Because I look.
[2:03:02] I look.
[2:03:04] Unstoppable.
[2:03:05] You know, I didn't even recognize myself in that.
[2:03:08] I was just so zoned out and just happy to be in the space that I was in.
[2:03:12] It was just amazing.
[2:03:13] And I'm just looking to transfer what I've done in sparring and training to the actual fight where it really counts.
[2:03:22] You know, and I'm looking forward to it all.
[2:03:24] I'm spiritually, mentally, and physically here, ready to go.
[2:03:29] And what better opponent to have than a Derrick Warchasora?
[2:03:34] And what better place to be than in London at the O2 Arena?
[2:03:39] I'm ready to write my story in the history books there.
[2:03:43] And like Amir said, Derrick has to be perfect for 12 rounds.
[2:03:49] I only have to be for two seconds.
[2:03:51] Then bam, baby, good night.
[2:03:53] And you will be for those two seconds.
[2:03:55] You'll find a way.
[2:03:56] I will.
[2:03:57] You know, Derrick is built off of pressure.
[2:03:59] And I need that to elevate myself.
[2:04:01] I need everything that Derrick's going to bring.
[2:04:04] That's why he was the perfect opponent for me.
[2:04:06] And we said yes within seconds, you know, especially after he called me.
[2:04:11] You know, it was automatically yes because if I say I'm truly back like I think I am,
[2:04:16] I need what he has to bring for me.
[2:04:19] I need that pressure.
[2:04:20] I need that aggression.
[2:04:21] See, Derrick has to get angry to fight.
[2:04:23] I don't have to be angry at you to fight.
[2:04:25] I still whoop your ass because even when I say I love you, I still whoop that ass.
[2:04:30] I don't have to get angry.
[2:04:31] Don't get it right.
[2:04:32] That's just the bottom line of it.
[2:04:33] I don't have to get angry.
[2:04:35] I'm a happy guy.
[2:04:36] I don't have to get angry.
[2:04:37] I don't have to do anything.
[2:04:40] Well, I'm going to need all that you're going to bring.
[2:04:42] I love fighting, bro.
[2:04:44] Me too.
[2:04:44] I love fighting.
[2:04:45] From the beginning of me since I was a young boy.
[2:04:47] We both love fighting.
[2:04:48] My mother used to say, I don't know why he gets so angry.
[2:04:50] He just balls his fist up and he just.
[2:04:52] And I just started hitting people.
[2:04:55] I remember being in the kindergarten, beating guys that was in the fifth grade.
[2:04:58] You know, I would get on their back and pull their neck back and try to break their spine off their back.
[2:05:02] And I would tell them to call on their mama.
[2:05:04] And they would say, Mama, help me.
[2:05:06] And I still wouldn't let go.
[2:05:08] I have something in me like a hog that even if I saw your body on the ground, I'd still kick you.
[2:05:17] Just like Frosty Flavius.
[2:05:18] As I say, fuck it.
[2:05:20] Let's go.
[2:05:22] Baby, I'm so.
[2:05:24] Yeah, baby.
[2:05:25] I'm so pumped.
[2:05:26] So I'm privileged to be in the ring with you.
[2:05:28] Thank you.
[2:05:29] I'm privileged to be here behind, you know.
[2:05:31] I wouldn't even say enemy lines because I probably have more fans than you here.
[2:05:36] You know what I mean?
[2:05:37] I have so much love here.
[2:05:39] And I don't have no bad stories of coming, coming here to England.
[2:05:43] Listen, I've been all around.
[2:05:44] I'm going to lie to you.
[2:05:46] It's been amazing.
[2:05:47] Deontay and Derrick, we've both got love for you.
[2:05:49] I want a final prediction in one sentence.
[2:05:52] What happens Saturday night?
[2:05:53] Bam, baby.
[2:05:54] Good night.
[2:05:55] What round?
[2:05:57] Bam, baby.
[2:05:58] Good night.
[2:05:59] What round?
[2:06:00] Bam, baby.
[2:06:01] Good night.
[2:06:01] What round?
[2:06:02] Bam, baby.
[2:06:03] Good night.
[2:06:04] Derrick, you.
[2:06:06] What happens?
[2:06:07] Fuck you, man.
[2:06:07] I want to take round one.
[2:06:10] Derrick's round one.
[2:06:11] Yeah.
[2:06:11] I won.
[2:06:12] I won that round one.
[2:06:12] No, I won one.
[2:06:13] Bam, baby.
[2:06:13] Good night.
[2:06:14] Bam, baby.
[2:06:15] Good night.
[2:06:15] It is Derrick Chisora and Deontay Wilder finally putting it together.
[2:06:26] The tension's been a little more than first time around a few weeks ago.
[2:06:31] The clock is ticking.
[2:06:32] Deontay and Derrick, please face off in front of this packed media.
[2:06:38] Saturday Night Live on the global home of Boxing DAZN, MF Pro and Queensby,
[2:06:44] present an incredible event.
[2:06:47] The O2 is going to be bouncing.
[2:06:50] Here we go.
[2:06:59] Main event.
[2:07:00] They made us wait for it, didn't they?
[2:07:01] They made us wait, but it's worth the wait.
[2:07:03] Derrick Chisora versus Deontay Wilder.
[2:07:06] Wilder already in position for the obligatory face off.
[2:07:10] Derrick Chisora.
[2:07:12] Derrick Chisora making his way for the face off as well.
[2:07:16] What did you make of the press conference?
[2:07:18] I enjoyed it, if I'm being honest.
[2:07:20] I mean, there wasn't.
[2:07:21] There was no pushing and shoving.
[2:07:24] Well, not quite yet.
[2:07:25] The boys seemed respectful, very respectful of each other, but I enjoyed that press conference.
[2:07:33] A lot of funny moments as well.
[2:07:34] Derrick said what he said.
[2:07:35] Deontay seemed confident.
[2:07:36] Let's go.
[2:07:37] Looking forward to it.
[2:07:39] Yeah, they finally got the microphone.
[2:07:40] We need to hear that.
[2:07:41] We need to hear it.
[2:07:42] Don't bring your heart, because I'm going to take it.
[2:07:43] Here we go.
[2:07:44] Don't worry about that, man.
[2:07:46] Bring all the pressure you can.
[2:07:47] I want that.
[2:07:48] I need that, Derrick.
[2:07:49] Listen, listen, bro.
[2:07:51] I need you to bring the pressure.
[2:07:52] I need you to bring.
[2:07:54] Bring in what I'm bringing.
[2:07:55] Bring everything in the kitchen sink.
[2:07:56] I need you to bring all the appliances that are not bolted down.
[2:07:59] I want you to throw the refrigerator if you can pick it up.
[2:08:02] I need it for myself, because I am ready, bro.
[2:08:05] I'm coming, bro.
[2:08:06] I am healed.
[2:08:07] This is a healed Wilder, bro.
[2:08:10] I'm happy for you healed, bro.
[2:08:11] I'm coming.
[2:08:12] Don't worry about it.
[2:08:13] Thank you.
[2:08:14] Come in, bro.
[2:08:15] And then when you retire, I want you to come to Alabama.
[2:08:17] I'm definitely coming, bro.
[2:08:18] Come on, man.
[2:08:19] Are we going to smoke weed afterwards?
[2:08:20] Yes, dude.
[2:08:27] These guys are crazy, aren't they?
[2:08:28] You just don't know.
[2:08:29] I see Keller behind.
[2:08:30] I know.
[2:08:31] I know exactly what you're doing.
[2:08:32] Just waiting to see if anything could happen.
[2:08:33] And it's like, OK, you guys are laughing now.
[2:08:34] We don't know if you're going to laugh or throw hands.
[2:08:37] What we do know is that these guys will throw hands on Saturday.
[2:08:40] Don't be fooled by these guys smiling.
[2:08:42] Soon as the first bell goes and Chisora said it there, I can't repeat what he said, but
[2:08:46] he said something bleep, bleep, bleep first round.
[2:08:48] I think he really is going to rush over and try and stick it on Wilder immediately.
[2:08:53] Whether that's good or not, I don't know, but that's what he's going to do.
[2:08:55] I think he knows that gives him the best opportunity to win the fight if he applies pressure and
[2:08:59] gets on Deontay's chest.
[2:09:00] That is Derrick's best chance to win the fight.
[2:09:02] But Deontay will be expecting that.
[2:09:04] I think he will expect Derrick to start fast and try and swarm him, and he'll be ready
[2:09:10] for it, too.
[2:09:11] What really impressed me about Deontay was how confident he seemed.
[2:09:14] And sometimes when you hear press conference and you hear fighters talk, you don't always
[2:09:20] believe it, what they're saying.
[2:09:21] But I believed every word of what he said up there, and he seems full of confidence.
[2:09:25] Malik, you said motivated.
[2:09:28] You said it.
[2:09:29] And when you said it, obviously it's one thing you said, and us seeing it, you seem right.
[2:09:33] He does seem very motivated right now, Wilder.
[2:09:35] Yes, absolutely he is, because one, he feels more healed.
[2:09:39] Every joint pain that he had, every injury, he was able to take time and get those things fixed.
[2:09:46] A lot of people think Deontay did a lot of spiritual work, but he also had to do a lot of physical
[2:09:50] work because he was dealing with so many different injuries.
[2:09:53] So a healed Wilder and a happy Wilder and a violent Wilder is a very dangerous Wilder, and I'm looking
[2:09:58] forward to him to be so violent on Saturday.
[2:10:00] I can't wait to see this guy's fight, man.
[2:10:02] I'm excited about it.
[2:10:03] Honestly, I can't wait as well.
[2:10:04] I think this is going to be an incredible matchup between two people for different reasons.
[2:10:08] Derek Chisora wants to go out on a win, right?
[2:10:11] Number 50 and out, off into the sunset with Wilder on that CV.
[2:10:15] Deontay Wilder wants Anthony Joshua, wants Fabio Wardi, wants Oleksandr Usyk.
[2:10:21] Someone has got to light here.
[2:10:23] Something's got to give, and it's going to be an incredible fight night on Saturday,
[2:10:26] O2 Arena.
[2:10:27] Buy it now.
[2:10:28] Go to thezone.com.
[2:10:29] The best thing you can do is get Ultimate, where you can get all of these fights coming
[2:10:34] up.
[2:10:35] Remember, May 9th, Fabio Wardi, Chisora, all of them.
[2:10:36] So Fabio Wardi against Davinil Dubois, all of these on Ultimate.
[2:10:41] Tomorrow, the weigh-in, something interesting for you guys.
[2:10:44] I don't want to give too much, but I want you guys to tune in for the weigh-in because
[2:10:47] we're going to do a weigh-in like you've never seen before.
[2:10:51] That's tomorrow on DAZN.
[2:10:52] Are you joining us, Malik?
[2:10:53] Absolutely.
[2:10:54] I'm looking forward to it.
[2:10:55] Carl, are you joining us as well?
[2:10:56] I'll be there, boys.
[2:10:57] Yes.
[2:10:58] A certain cruiserweight who hopes to one day set up the O2 Arena, Pat Brown, is in action
[2:11:03] as well.
[2:11:08] Okay, so that's weigh-ins tomorrow, then Pat Brown on Friday, then Showtime on Saturday
[2:11:13] from us, from a packed York Hall, Bethel North Green as well.
[2:11:16] We'll see you for the weigh-ins tomorrow.
[2:11:20] They say the body slows, that youth belongs to the bold, and that time is undefeated.
[2:11:29] And perhaps it is, but time has never understood pride.
[2:11:40] These are not young men chasing price.
[2:11:42] These are men that have tasted consequence.
[2:11:44] One carries a right hand that can end the night in a heartbeat.
[2:11:45] And when that bell rings, who will remain standing?
[2:11:46] On April 4th, two heavyweights will meet, not as champions, not as prospects, but as
[2:11:47] warriors.
[2:11:48] She's a wilder icon.
[2:11:49] Fight Night on DAZN, brought to you by that prize guy.
