[00:01:30] Speaker 1: well this past weekend was the china toy expo that took place this would have been october 23rd and it was a very good show from what i'm getting from all the different social media as well as retailers videos and so what we did today was we compiled a bunch of them as you can see from that opening video that was morty helix and there was a lot of interesting and great things from the company now i do have to say just from my observations there was not a whole lot of new stuff a lot of the stuff that these manufacturers had out there were things that we've already talked about this year you know morty helix definitely stands out because if you noticed they had a pagani in one of their displays now the pagani that they had was in the smaller scale it wasn't a 118 and they've yet to announce if they're ever going to make one not that we need another manufacturer to make a paganis but just keep that in mind about that 164 scale there's just an observation that i'm going to make later at the tail end of this video with that said let's take some more looks at some of the other manufacturers who participated in the show okay so here we have many champs and of course this is that um um korsha um 911 sc i believe it's what it's called um as you probably may know norev has already had their versions of this car out already these look actually very well improved from you know what i'll typically see from many champs including if you look on top of here many champs never had perforated grills on most of their cars and it looks like they're jumping on the norev chain and actually starting to have those so let's hope that that is something that they continue doing but man this car looks fantastic and it definitely is going to give norev a run for its money it's just a very very beautiful color that they have available here of course as you know this company is very well notorious for producing formula one cars i do like the fact that you have bbr you have um obviously as many champs but and spark i like the fact that they're now going back and making some of these older cars spark for example is constantly putting out the new stuff which is fine no complaints about it but i do like that you know they are going back and making some of these older cars this is obviously a newer car but um yeah so that's many champs next this is kyosho and the standout for me is not necessarily another um f40 because they've been making those forever it's this thing right here this nissan gtr man that thing looks the part i mean it is wow that's whoo i'm i'm so tempted once this comes out to buy it just because i mean wow ken i'm not sure why or what is so special about these these seem like reissues maybe they are improved but if you are new to collecting um 18th scale diecast models kyosho has had the license for the f40 for a long time and they produced them for a long time they go away and then they bring them back this here is actually on that hot list and man this is the 911s and i just think it looks fantastic i am very glad that they're making this and i'm very sure if you're a porsche fan you'd be happy as well now this here is more than likely from there um they have a series of um kyosho that is they have a series of resin models so these would be non-opening and i'm very sure that's what this is this definitely is not open i believe it's called the samurai i think that's what it's called series but um yeah oh look at that white that i'm so looking forward to that i don't have any details on this i don't know if this is a special untouch that uh they're producing it does look unique because i know that the og does not have this body cladding so that could be the new thing for this particular one it's definitely an interesting piece okay next going back to morty helix and i've been oh my goodness i've been touting this one for the longest so this is that uh silhouette this is actually it's not that silhouette i mean it is and it isn't what i mean by that is as you know there is a new um gtr that has that flowing silhouette and i'm not a fan of this one but this particular one i'm a big fan of and i like the most about this is just all of the wiring cabling that you see here this thing is going to be so detailed this is going to be a must-have for fans and i'm going to be one of them i am so glad that they're coming out with this is like the 2099 ish gtr and man this thing is going to sell like hotcakes just like the others so i'm very glad they're going to do this you know usually if they're going to produce this at some point just like with the gtr here this newer one they will definitely have some tuner versions of this so i'm just in static about that i believe was interesting here's that nilu which i criticize big time because there's not an actual car that's definitely a civic that should look familiar if you're a tuner fan i'm really liking this type r here this color scheme looks fantastic this has been out for a while this is actually a favorite of mine i don't have this particular model but i would love this i would actually love the car in reality it's another evo and these are models that have already been out but you know i guess they had to fill up the shelves with some displays this has been a work in progress for some time this is obviously an impreza it's an rs and that one should do very well you don't see too many opening full opening detailed models with the coupe you typically see the the the newer versions with the four doors so be really interesting to see what the final product looks like on that this was released recently and there are a lot of folks who love this car i i get it it's it's worst of all i'm a big fan of any opening diecast model that actually has the back doors that open as well so i could get it i totally get it but this one looks very good this is the other silhouette version i was referring to i am not a big fan of this particular one i like the the other one the earlier model better in other words the previous generation so but i'm glad that mortar helix has made this because there are obviously some fans for it and that just gives you an idea of you know once they have a license for you know both delivery walk and the nissan gtrs well the world is their oyster so they could produce all kind of different types of liberty walks here is the rally car that's not the actual rally car that i criticized a week ago and um yeah if you're interested in a replica of an actual car which is a replica because it's a skill model well murder helix has one for you i've always liked the red and black um this is not a spoon version i don't believe or maybe it is a spoon version but the s2000 in red and black always look great nothing new there this should look familiar this one actually x is not the car from the fast and furious movie this color scheme with the blue is actually a gretty thing it's been around so gretty is a parts tuner basically um and as you can see there's some sketching around it as well so anyway again this is an example i'm referring to that morty helix has the license so they can you know use their creative juices and and produce these tuner models instead of just a standard car it's just a standard car but it's a standard car right now as you may or may not know uh motor helix makes the one six four and one four three cars as well this is really cool because these are not fully opening but at least the doors open this is for that nilu they have others as well and yeah so we're done with morty helix so let's go to the next one this is lcd and this one would be the um pagani wyra r evo and you know it's an evo because it has the blade in the middle whereas the r does not have the blade and there's some other things are a little bit different as well including the wheels and um this one will definitely be a hot seller for lcd i'm looking forward to that yes this one will more likely be on uh my list as well this is due to come out soon this is the uh river r in the blue color the konis x now i think the reason why these will do really well for motor helix because unlike auto art these are full metal die cast and the details so far on the prototypes are better than the auto arts so that says a lot i believe they're also going to have a working suspension on there so just to keep that in mind here's your porsche 918 spider i believe that's what this is it is and um i know there's gonna be some fans for that one the sto i have a subscriber who's always asking me when is this coming out and i've been asking the same question who knows when this is going to come out i would love it to come out it's a beautiful car i do have some additional photos of that coming up this is the utopia pagani here's a baller land rover now i believe this one i'm very sure i'm right on this this one does not open um lcd does make some non-opening models and well i could be wrong about that but i believe this one doesn't open if it does well you can correct me in the uh notes there or the comments it's a beautiful color i believe that's the yeah that's a um it says zonda roaster might be an emola it's kind of hard to tell from these pictures here but yeah i believe it's actually an emola i've never seen one in that color before interesting it's another river this recently came out it is available now this is the rivelta and that that chalk color i do have some more from lcd this is a new color so this is a rivelta it's a more of like a a violet color i do like it a lot you have the green finally that's going to come out i'm looking forward to that these lights did not do this color justice this color actually has a flake in it and it's actually very beautiful in in in certain light it's more of a chalk green color it's the yellow again that's that one there's your sto i understand why so many people are looking forward to this the details on this are just mind-blowing i mean this is something i would definitely want to consider for my collection even though i'm trying to trying to limit how many lamborghinis i have in the collection this is a jesco and oh my goodness this one will sell so well because there are no other companies that have come out so far with a full opening model and if motor helix beats auto art which it looks like they will they'll be the first ones to do it not sure what version this is because it's so incomplete but i believe this is a hybrid version because of the way the wing is folded in the back here please in the comments correct me if i'm wrong on that one it's agarra r i believe the utopias by the way should be coming out probably in december this here is a fantasy color of that roaster with the 23. still looks good same thing for this one here and it looks like finally finally they're gonna have an orange f1 it's not the papaya orange somebody corrected me and let me know that the road car actually never came in papaya orange that was only the lm so um but i do like this color if i could swap out the purple or violet one that i purchased this would definitely be the color i'd want i think personally that's the best color of the f1 in the road going car this should be coming out soon as well auto art has their version out of this by the way that would make a nice comparison video between the two and you have it in black as well okay i believe that's it for lcd oh quick note about lcd can somebody i'll do it too but can we please make a note to lcd and ask them to please sell the motor like it display like this separately i would buy that tomorrow if they did that that motor detail is so fantastic this here is the porsche 918 spider which we already saw but this is how it looks closed and man yeah that one's gonna do very well for the company okay sent 918 spider again this is the back end of the uh jesco which i'm so looking forward to uh here's the now you have the jesco attack and then you also have the jesco with the large wing so i'll be really interested to see how this mesh has developed on the back of this now i believe i could have confused the 918 spider with the other porsche this one's been around for a very long time for life i can't think of the name of it right now but um this is the car actually fun fact if you didn't paul walker of fast and furious he actually died in this car um unfortunately i just thought about that i don't know if i said fun fact but it's a fact there's nothing fun about that fact lcd is gonna make the revolution i don't know if i knew that lcd is going to make the revolution that's that's amazing and i say that because as you know um almost real is also going to make the revolution and it will definitely bring it to market before lcd does and again you're talking another another great comparison that's just wow wow you can't say you don't have your choices in models as far as pagani's go so anyway that's it for lcd next we're going to take a look at cmc
[00:19:51] Speaker ?: so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so you you you you you you you you you you you
[00:22:00] Speaker 1: if you're unfamiliar with cmc cmc as you can see primarily makes older models so i would say anything from 1970 and back they actually make mostly you're going to see ferraris there's going to be some mazarin's in there um they're going to be some other manufacturers as well but they they're very heavy with the the older italian sport cars no american cars they make some of the most highly detailed 18th scale models out there now they're close to now i wouldn't say they're there but they are definitely if i was going to put them in a ranking as far as the accuracy their accuracy is almost as good as an amalgam almost amalgams typically when they have the 18th scale they're not going to be full opening at all amalgam usually starts their full opening at the 1 8 scale so there is that difference so if there was an amalgam for example in an 18th scale that was fully opening that would be your cmc just giving you perspective as far as the price range on those they're pretty expensive the average cmc in us dollars is going to be close to 700 but you're paying for a lot of detail there you really are i believe this is the last one and this is from bbr and this is at 288gto
[00:23:49] Speaker ?: so so so so so so so now
[00:24:48] Speaker 1: now that is obviously a prototype so that's why some of the parts aren't finished including that rear deck lid but just all of the um fun you can have with this model you have the pop pop headlights you have a working suspension steerable wheels full engine detail this is going to be probably one of the best opening models by bbr if you look further here these are steel photos yeah this thing is going to look great this thing is going to sell extremely well i'm just so impressed with um bbr and and what they're doing here with this model it's just amazing to me um the only thing that i'd be worried about is how much is this thing going to cost me because with all that detail oh my goodness isn't that it's gonna it's gonna cost you a pretty penny so um my guesstimate on something like this um i would say close to six hundred dollars um somewhere around there but yeah look what you're paying for though it's a lot of detail that's a lot of detail and again you have a working suspension you know actual a-arms in motion so yeah that's uh that's what we have so again there may be more later on that's um posted and if there is i'll definitely share it with you guys i like doing this because it saves you some time because i compile all this for you and we can have a discussion about it i'd love to know just from the highlights to show today what is the standoff for you what are you looking forward to
