CBS 60 Minutes - Trump's Crazy Answers They Didn't Want you to See!

[0:00] Juliet Dusky, Decoding Fox News. [0:02] Okay, you know how CBS aired a 13-minute interview with Donald J. Trump on 60 Minutes this Sunday? [0:09] And then, you know, shortly after that, they released the full 40-minute interview on CBS 60 Minutes Overtime. [0:17] Well, I found some select clips from the footage that did not air on Sunday, and I wanted to share those with you. [0:24] This first one is, you know, Trump claiming that Democrats loved him, and I'm sure this is incredibly believable. [0:32] And I'll give you a quick warning. [0:33] It includes a sir, sir story. [0:37] Trump also addresses conspiracy theories surrounding the event at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. [0:45] Why do you think that the tone changed? [0:46] People came together, Democrats that truly can't stand me, were saying, sir, could I just shake your hand? [0:54] I mean, I'm leaving, and I'm seeing people, you know, high-level people, and they're saying, sir, great job. [1:02] Sir, could I, one of them, I don't want to, you probably have it on tape someplace, one of them said, could I hug you? [1:09] A big politician on the other side. [1:12] There was love. [1:14] It just all came together. [1:16] It was very amazing to see. [1:17] It was a very beautiful thing. [1:20] In a non-beautiful moment, really, but it was a very beautiful thing that was happening. [1:24] I hesitate to ask you about this, but as you know, these conspiracy theories out there on the left and the right, that the event was staged or that it didn't happen. [1:35] What, last night didn't happen? [1:36] That, yeah, that it was because it was your first time there or that Butler didn't happen. [1:40] These conspiracy theories that are gaining traction on the Internet. [1:43] October 7th didn't happen, and World War II didn't happen, and the Holocaust didn't happen, and many things didn't happen. [1:51] Yeah, no one here. [1:52] I don't know. [1:53] I think they're more sick than they are con people, but there's a lot of con in it, too. [1:59] I haven't heard that last night didn't happen. [2:01] Usually it takes a little bit longer. [2:03] Yeah. [2:03] Usually they wait about two or three months to start saying that. [2:07] I think that it was, I think that, and forgive me, I'm not, I don't peddle in that stuff or certainly look at it, because I was there. [2:14] But the idea, I'm wondering where this is coming from. [2:17] That would be a tough one, I think. [2:17] This is coming from. [2:18] That would be a tough, I think it would be a tough sell. [2:20] Yeah. [2:20] And in this next clip, Trump goes on and on and on and on and on about his ballroom project. [2:30] Here we go. [2:31] The president, you, Mr. President, the vice president, the speaker of the House, the secretary of state, secretary of Hegseth, [2:41] almost the entire line of presidential succession was in that ballroom. [2:47] Who was the designated survivor? [2:48] Well, first of all, I have to say, it's not a safe ballroom. [2:53] I'm building a safe ballroom, and one of the reasons I'm building it is exactly what happened last night. [3:01] We're building a room right there. [3:03] If you walk out and move 20 yards to the left, you'll be right at the entrance to the ballroom. [3:08] And that ballroom is being built on the safest piece of property in this country, probably one of the safest pieces of land in the world. [3:16] We have... [3:17] But that's owned, that's the White House. [3:19] The White House Correspondent Center can't use White House property. [3:22] It's able to be used by, certainly, the White House, it says, the White House Correspondents. [3:26] Well, that's the White House press. [3:27] I'm sure that it's available. [3:29] You know, it's up to the president. [3:30] But that would be made available. [3:32] And this has bulletproof glass. [3:34] This has, you know, this is the highest level of security. [3:38] Also, very importantly, I could have built suites on top. [3:41] I could have done a lot of things. [3:42] And I said, no, no, this has to be pure. [3:45] This has to be where people stay off property and they go through one very impactful, very strong entrance, one very powerful entrance. [3:55] There's no games with this. [3:56] This is the best, highest. [3:58] This has all sorts of security equipment at levels that you could never have in a regular ballroom. [4:03] And we're ahead of schedule. [4:06] We're right on budget, ahead of schedule. [4:08] I wish it could be even sooner, but we're, you know, months ahead of schedule. [4:12] But it doesn't open until 28. [4:16] So, you know, that means you have another season and a half to go. [4:20] Right. [4:20] But O'Donnell could have told Trump that the White House Correspondents' Dinner would not be able to fit in the White House ballroom because it has over twice as many people that the ballroom, you know, the proposed ballroom can hold. [4:35] But and it's a private event that's not supposed to be held on government property. [4:40] But who cares about these details? [4:41] Trump certainly doesn't.
