[00:00:00] Speaker 1: All right, Adelaide Comic and Toy Fair, here we go again. Today, Game Boy MyOS collection. Very important, I'll try and get some of those games. We all know how this goes, I just end up spending money. Especially when you've got stuff like this, look at this. What is that? Anyway, I'm about to be broke. Come see me, be broke.
[00:00:30] Speaker 2: Come see me, be broke.
[00:01:01] Speaker 1: Ah, well, I'm still kind of tempted by this awful guy. Dude, just take it, man.
[00:01:10] Speaker 2: I'll go cheaper for you.
[00:01:12] Speaker 1: How much cheaper?
[00:01:13] Speaker 2: I don't know, let's take the 20, man, I don't think. All right, bye. Good morning, Ben.
[00:01:34] Speaker 1: Good morning, Ben.
[00:01:47] Speaker ?: Good morning.
[00:01:47] Speaker 1: Keep doing it.
[00:02:17] Speaker ?: Keep doing it. Keep doing it. I'm going to go with it. I'm going to go with it. You can do it. I'm going to go with it. I'm going to go with it. I'm going to go with it. I'm going to go with it. I'm going to go with it. I'm going to go with it. I'm going to go with it. I'm going to go with it. I'm going to go with it. I'm going to go with it. I'm going to go with it. I'm going to go with it. I'm going to go with it. I'm going to go with it. I'm going to go with it. I'm going to go with it. I'm going to go with it. I'm going to go with it. Alright. Adelaide Comic & Toy Fair. We're here again. Second time this year. Probably how many overall? Ten? Eleven? Something like that. We've got to go with it. We've got to go with it. We've got to go with it. All right. Adelaide Comic & Toy Fair. We're here again. We are. Second time this year. Probably. How many overall? Ten? Eleven? Something like that. We've got to go with it.
[00:03:37] Speaker 1: All right. Adelaide Comic & Toy Fair. We're here again. Second time this year. Probably. How many overall? Ten? Eleven? I don't know. I don't know. Anyway. We're here. You're here. He's here. Hi Andrew. Hello. That was Andrew. He collects dino riders. Like me. I'm going to fight him later. Anyway. I thought. Because you're always busy. And I've only managed to grab you very quickly before you have to run off and do other stuff. Before doors open. Let's actually have a look at your stall. Alright. Because I don't think a lot of people realise the effort that you put into your physical presence when these homes come around. So. Where do you want to start? Start down here. Start down there. Start in the middle.
[00:04:20] Speaker 3: Start down here.
[00:04:21] Speaker 1: Explain to me. What are we looking at?
[00:04:23] Speaker 3: Well. Uh. Video games.
[00:04:26] Speaker 1: So we've got. What's the idea of having sort of a bargain bin there?
[00:04:29] Speaker 3: Well we've just got some stuff. It's just cheap. You know. Kids want to buy some stuff. There's some like knick knacks and some little trinkets and stuff in there. Um. We've got a couple of Switch games. I've culled a lot of my Switch collections with a lot of Mario. You've really culled Polkope?
[00:04:41] Speaker 1: I've got two of them. Oh okay.
[00:04:43] Speaker 3: I was going to say. You were obsessed with it. It's still a good game. I've still got it. Yeah definitely. Great game. Pick it up. 70 bucks. All your Seegers? Lots of Seegers games. Mixture of Master System and Mega Drive. Some bargain bins. So we're doing a sale of, you know, green dot sale. So basically anything in these two bins.
[00:04:59] Speaker 1: You know, by the time people see this the show will be well and truly over. You don't need to sell it.
[00:05:03] Speaker 3: I'm just showing people what's going to be available every third.
[00:05:05] Speaker 1: Oh okay.
[00:05:06] Speaker 3: So. Things like that. Xbox 360. Swing Swiss one. Yeah. Alright.
[00:05:12] Speaker 1: Let's get to the cool stuff now. But look at this. Lots of Wii. Lots of really good titles. Um. Alright. First stop. First stop we need to make is shelf number one. Yeah. Some pricey. Some spicy boys in there. Now. Those prices are very, very high. They're also very reasonable. Yeah. So.
[00:05:33] Speaker ?: What do they usually?
[00:05:33] Speaker 3: It looks a bit crazy. I mean. I'm. Run Attack for example. Um. It's probably. Which I bought off you. More so towards. What it goes for. It's just a bit of a bit up box. So it's a little bit lower. But things like Kirby for example. Like in that good condition. Kirby's probably like. You know. 1500.
[00:05:51] Speaker 1: Wow. I've got it for 8. 1500. Is that supposed to be that faded?
[00:05:55] Speaker 3: That box? It's unfaded and the manual is a bit janky. The cartridge is really nice. So. I put it down. You know. 700 bucks. Wow. When you get to that level. It's. Condition is everything. And it can go up and down really high. So.
[00:06:10] Speaker 1: It's a matter of whether people just want to fill their collection.
[00:06:12] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[00:06:13] Speaker 1: Exactly. Alright.
[00:06:15] Speaker 3: So moving along. More PS2. Lots and lots of PS2. I've got some really big bangers. Just looking at it. Just straight away. You know. You said you've got a really big banger.
[00:06:23] Speaker 1: Bangers. Okay. Banger games. Ben. Dirty mine.
[00:06:28] Speaker 3: What? I don't know what you're talking about. You're the one with the dirty mine. Metal Gear Solid. Hey. Nice.
[00:06:34] Speaker 1: I got that one. So yeah. Some really nice stuff in there. PS1. Starting to stress.
[00:06:39] Speaker 3: It's been really really hard to get really good condition. Good titles on PS1. Um. I've got two whole tubs. I've never had two whole tubs.
[00:06:46] Speaker 1: How many do you reckon you have at the end of the show?
[00:06:49] Speaker 3: Hopefully none. But I've got some really nice games like Resident Evil. And they're really nice condition. Um. All your normal titles. Wipeouts. And. Some more obscure stuff as well. Crash games. Uh.
[00:07:03] Speaker 1: Some of our American viewers may not know. But that is a. I think an Australian exclusive Super Nintendo set. And the Tomb Raider is also an Australian New Zealand exclusive as well. PS1. There you go. So. If that doesn't sell today. Where can people go to maybe purchase these? Uh.
[00:07:18] Speaker 3: They can come to our Discord and make a deal.
[00:07:19] Speaker 1: They can.
[00:07:20] Speaker 3: I can send pictures. Um. I was meaning more your eBay store. I do have an eBay store. I do have an eBay store.
[00:07:26] Speaker 1: What's it called? Ghost games. Alright. Maybe there'll be a link somewhere in the comments. Or you just come to our Discord.
[00:07:31] Speaker 3: Yeah. We'll add a link.
[00:07:33] Speaker 1: We'll add a link as well. That's also in our comments.
[00:07:35] Speaker 3: Discord. Alright. PS5.
[00:07:38] Speaker 1: 800. Yeah.
[00:07:40] Speaker 3: They're hard to get now.
[00:07:41] Speaker 1: They are. PS6 is going to be even harder. In fact look. There's a PS6 right there.
[00:07:45] Speaker 3: Didn't you see my entire collection of PS6 games?
[00:07:46] Speaker 1: Yeah. PS6. Right there. And then on the chair you've got all the games that you can get. Yeah. How much is that?
[00:07:52] Speaker 3: Oh. You don't want to know. No. Priceless. It's absolutely priceless. You can't afford it.
[00:07:58] Speaker 1: Speaking of priceless. That nice sight. I had that as a kid. I've still got one. But they're invaluable. They're really cool. Now. This was the one we found out on one of our journeys. It is. Yeah. What's so important about it? That you found that we didn't talk about on the tape?
[00:08:12] Speaker 3: Basically it's absolutely mint. Yep. And it's a special edition colour. Yep. And it's for sale right here. And you could actually fund Ben's collection. And my collection at the same time.
[00:08:22] Speaker 1: But what about the other piece that's really important about it? That I had no idea about. The screen. Julian. Right.
[00:08:30] Speaker 3: Yeah. Totally forgot about that. It's an OLED. Basically Nintendo did when they made their 3DS XLs. And the new 3DS XLs. It was very random. They had different parts. And randomly you'll get an OLED screen either up or down. Or sometimes very rarely on both. That one has an OLED screen on the bottom screen. Which makes it more valuable obviously. But it's an OLED screen. Ridiculous.
[00:08:51] Speaker 1: You got a few Pokemon. I got a few.
[00:08:54] Speaker 3: I got a few Pokemon. All brand new save batteries as well. Obviously priced accordingly. Yeah. Someone just wants to play the game. Didn't have that much 64 cartridges this time around. I've only got I think one GoldenEye. Which is crazy. I've seen a couple of GoldenEyes here. Yeah. But I got some nice Pokemon games here. I cannot believe. Some of the more expensive stuff. How much do these go for now? Including some nice stuff up here too. Some Grand Theft Autos. Plexus Edition. Some Silent Hill. Some really nice box console. 3DS's. I paid a lot more than that. For that last show. And even some really expensive PS. PlayStation games here too. A little bit glary but. Some nice stuff. Alright. Let's get to the. And then you have the plethora of box. Yeah. That's a nice one. Snake's Revenge. Lots and lots of boxes. And consoles. Yeah. Some nice Pokemon consoles as well.
[00:09:36] Speaker 1: All right, let's get to the...
[00:09:37] Speaker 3: And then you have the plethora of boxes.
[00:09:39] Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a nice one. Snake's Revenge. Lots and lots of boxes and consoles.
[00:09:46] Speaker 3: Yeah, some nice Pokemon consoles as well. I'm doing some of these on consignment for a mate at the moment, and they're console only, but $200 for a console. That's super tempting.
[00:09:56] Speaker 1: Super tempting, actually. That's really cool. It's obviously a reshell.
[00:10:01] Speaker 3: It is a fully reshelled Game Boy Player as well. If you can't tell. Amazing, looks great. Fully power as well.
[00:10:11] Speaker 1: And all operate... Of course, all tested.
[00:10:14] Speaker 3: All tested, working, cleaning.
[00:10:15] Speaker 1: And we know they're tested and they're working because we get what's in the console. He does it.
[00:10:20] Speaker 3: He does the testing and cleaning.
[00:10:21] Speaker 1: But we get the what's in the console, so be sure to look over at other socials to do the what's in the console.
[00:10:26] Speaker 3: I'm sorry it's a lot of wheeze, but wheeze are plethora of all at the moment. I have lots of...
[00:10:31] Speaker 1: Did you say plethora of all? Plethora of all. Just make a word up, why don't you?
[00:10:34] Speaker 3: I made words up, okay. We even got a top loader here today as well.
[00:10:37] Speaker 1: Now, that is a power one. And how can you tell that it's a power one?
[00:10:41] Speaker 3: How can I tell it's a power one?
[00:10:42] Speaker 1: Yeah, there's one feature on there. Well, you tell me that. So the power ones have this raised bit so it can fit the large cartridges, whereas the Japanese ones are flat.
[00:10:52] Speaker 3: What about the US ones?
[00:10:53] Speaker 1: They're raised like that as well.
[00:10:54] Speaker 3: So they're raised on power and US. Yes. So not only power.
[00:10:58] Speaker 1: But Japan. Shut up. I'm cutting this. All right. So long, long shot. Look at that. Look at that space. Look at that table.
[00:11:11] Speaker 3: A lot of stuff. It's going to be a long day, man.
[00:11:16] Speaker 1: Yes, it will be a long day. How much do we have in our upsell challenge? I think you sold a... Because I sold a figure yesterday. Because I bought a T-shirt and they threw in a Biker Mice from Mars figure. And you sold it to Marcus. So I sold it to Marcus for five bucks. I wish I didn't now because he got Pokemon games. And I'm jealous. I'm a jealous, petty man. So we have $171 to spend today. $171. I think we can find something today shortly. I hope so. Otherwise, we're not going to make that two grand by December. I think we're pushing it. But anyway, speaking of pushing it, you've got to go and push your products. I'm going to go and try and find stuff to buy that I want. Anyway, here's the thing.
[00:12:07] Speaker ?: Good job.
[00:12:37] Speaker 3: All right, yeah, yeah.
[00:13:01] Speaker 2: I think that was like massive. I think they're probably the moon. They didn't smile. So it means I don't have to wear the high heels for me. Okay. So, all right, let's see. Yeah, it was like, I think it was little cistine. I don't think it was pristine, but it's a proper...
[00:13:51] Speaker ?: Okay. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. Okay.
[00:14:06] Speaker 2: I think it was cold.
[00:14:08] Speaker ?: I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. I think it was cold. It was cold. I think it was cold.
[00:14:23] Speaker 2: I think it was cold.
[00:14:24] Speaker ?: - Yeah.
[00:14:54] Speaker 1: - It's actually a really nice box. Wow. It kills how much these faceplates are worth. Look at 'em, look at 'em. That one's cool. - I don't have that problem. - No. - No.
[00:15:27] Speaker 2: - You've got to have a frame, don't you? - Yeah, I see. What is this? - It's a promo copy.
[00:15:32] Speaker 1: - That's a promo copy of 'Last of Us'.
[00:15:34] Speaker 2: - It's a promo copy. - Wow. - Yeah, it's pretty cool, isn't it?
[00:15:37] Speaker 1: - That's really cool.
[00:15:38] Speaker 2: - It is very cool. I'm denied about whether I'd bring that today, but...
[00:15:42] Speaker 1: - Whew. - It's like you just got it sitting in a box here.
[00:15:44] Speaker 2: - I decided I would, yeah.
[00:15:46] Speaker 1: - Some very, very exciting. - Brain, you appreciate that, man, thank you.
[00:15:54] Speaker ?: - Oh, I'm not. - Oh, I'm not. - Oh, I'm not.
[00:15:56] Speaker 2: - Oh, I'm not.
[00:15:57] Speaker 3: - Oh, I'm not.
[00:15:58] Speaker 1: - Jeez. - All sealed brand new. - Brand new, all sealed. - Now, these are very much unpriced, so... - That's all right. But, um... By the time this go out, people won't, people won't, uh... I don't know what I'm saying. - Actually, actually, I want to show you something, 'cause I know you're a bit of a... That's right, man. - Um... - It's always dangerous when people say, "I want to show you something," because... - No, no, no, no, no, no. - No, no, no, no, no, no, no. These are simply, um, stupidly cases, but, uh... - Okay. - They're super cool, actually. So... Ooh. So the case comes out of a box like that, really sweet. A bit hard to get up, here we go, here we go. Boom, eight mil thick. - Wow, that's a thick one. - Super nice. - Oh, jeez, it's heavy, too. - Get a bit of weight. - Wow, that's really cool. - Yeah, yeah. Magnetic top, man, no slides, so no damage to the seal or nothing like that. - Hey, money bags, check this out. Ooh. Feel how heavy it is. It's a protective case.
[00:16:54] Speaker 3: - That's really nice, that's a thick one. That's really cool. That's really cool.
[00:16:59] Speaker 1: - Yeah. - What, Gunstar Heroes is there? Ooh. - I love it, yes, yes, definitely.
[00:17:04] Speaker 3: - Is that an Open Tactics?
[00:17:07] Speaker 2: - Open Tactics?
[00:17:07] Speaker 3: Uh, that one... I got two, so that one might not be open. - Okay, 'cause I'm just trying to see if I price my career. 'Cause mine's meat as well.
[00:17:17] Speaker 1: - Yeah, yeah, no, this one's, uh... Oh, this one is the other one, I think. All right, let's see, what'd you get, what'd you get? - Pokemon games. - What?
[00:17:26] Speaker 3: Lots of Pokemon games. - Pokemon games.
[00:17:28] Speaker 1: - Where'd you find them? - Pokemon, Pokemon, Pokemon, Pokemon.
[00:17:32] Speaker 3: - I think it's sealed. - You get a sealed sun? - Yeah. It's not an ultrasound. - Still? How much was that? - A thousand? Whoa, a thousand, a hundred? - It's like 80%.
[00:17:55] Speaker 1: Is that the thing that farts in Jar Jar's face? - Yeah, it is.
[00:17:58] Speaker 3: How rude, how rude, how rude, how rude. - How rude.
[00:18:24] Speaker ?: - I wouldn't do that. Or would I? - Okay.
[00:18:29] Speaker 1: - Okay. And you've got some more of the blind box.
[00:18:32] Speaker 2: - The only one that's really a blind box now would be this one. - Yeah. - Okay.
[00:18:37] Speaker 1: - No, I'll tell you what, if it's too hard, I'll give you an extra 20. So that's 30, so I'll give you an extra 20 and call it even.
[00:18:45] Speaker 2: - Oh, perfect. That's amazing. Thank you so much. So I'm running out of flow notes.
[00:18:50] Speaker 1: - Oh, that's good. Good problem to have.
[00:18:52] Speaker 2: - Yeah, you know what?
[00:18:53] Speaker 1: I'll take it. I'll take it today. - Thank you. Transition. Here we are. I transitioned into my games room. Yeah, and probably not the wrap up that you were expecting. Truth be told, today was so full on. I was on my table by myself today, and I really had very minimal time to go out and record and film a recap. So this is what you're going to get. Big thank you to everyone who came out and said hello today. There were heaves of you that popped by and said hello. I haven't spoken to Julian yet, but I assume you all went and said hello to him as well, if he wasn't that busy. Really is great, you guys coming and saying hi. Appreciate it. Thank you. What did I get today? Well, I hear you ask and think through this lens. That's right. I have some kind of lens psychic ability. No, I won't take off my shirt. Here's what I got. Oh, and yeah, this is my game room. I had a few people ask for a tour again soon. It's still not, still not done. It's still not ready. And at the moment, it's in a goddamn pigsty. Anyway, here's what I got. So boring stuff that not many people but me actually care about. I got Punisher Kills: The Marvel Universe, a comic from the 90s. Very hard to find. I got this for $2. No idea how much it's worth. Uh, probably more than $2. But Garth Ennis wrote it. Kind of overrated, but anyway. Yay! Speaking of comics, I got another... Uh, I was gonna say Street Fighter because I saw my Street Fighter arcade machine just in the corner there. Uh, I got another Uncanny X-Men comic for my collection. Number 39, the first appearance of their new costumes. Ooh! See, there's the condom suit the Cyclops wears. So this brings me to needing 62 Uncanny X-Men issues until I have all of them. Yeah, it's gonna get real pricey from here. So don't expect an update like that next show. Okay, so onto some games. Now, as a lot of you know, I do like weird and dumb games. I did not even know this game existed. "Mario Teaches Counting" or "Counting with Mario" or "Fun with Numbers!" I was gonna make a 69 joke. I'm not going to. "You found the nine." Also picked up this cheeky little expensive boy. Uh, there was a couple of sellers there, uh, who were selling their childhood collection. Had no idea of prices and they had some real bangers there. Like, uh, Pokemon Leaf Green, uh, there was 64. They had no idea what they were doing. So I went over last night before the show and was speaking to them. And I don't, these shows, I don't want people selling their childhood collections getting ripped off. So I sat down with them probably half an hour and just gave them a good idea of what the going price is, what they could sell it for realistically if they wanted to move it. Uh, so this one I got for $70, which is very kind of them. I've been wanting, uh, the Australian exclusive Hsv adventure racing for quite a while. Part of a bundle deal. I got Metal Slug 3 for the Xbox paid market price for that. But I've wanted to play Metal Slug for, uh, for a while now. Um, not necessarily Metal Slug 3, but I don't have any. And it's a game that I loved as a kid. The thing I wanted to buy, I didn't have any change and they didn't have any change. So I just went bugger it. I'll grab this. We can do a deal. And I got that in a bundle. Hey, Star Fox for the Wii U. I have both these games, but I didn't have the box and this comes with the steel tin. So now that's complete. And I'll add that to my Wii U collection. For a cheeky $15, GameCube. Can't go wrong with GameCube. And a game I have not played, but I have heard of before is Hybrid Heaven for the Nintendo 64. Got this for $40. Uh, I was speaking to friend of the show, Michael Towns. Uh, you should go check out Game Boy games if you haven't already. A local game dev who makes his own Game Boy games. Hybrid Heaven he described as Metal Gear Solid meets Death Stranding. And that scares me. Now the most important part. Game Boy My Oz. Currently at, uh, 126 out of 166. So 40 to go. Unfortunately, this isn't one of them. Now, if you know why I'm excited to have this game, just sound off in the comments below. I'll give you a couple of seconds. Okay, it's time stamped. I don't know if you're cheating. This is one of the games that the template to Aggro Saw was based on or ripped off on. Basically, it's Aggro Saw re-skinned. Uh, or the original game that was Aggro Saw and this one re-skinned. Uh, I watched this film with my partner Jaz the other night. It is trash. So don't bother watching it. But that's cool. As for the Game Boy My Oz. Because that wasn't an Oz release. We've got Road Rash, 126. Sneaky Snakes. No, I was already on 126. That was 127. 128. Worms, 129. Arcade Classics, Defender and Joust, 130. Blades of Steel, 131. I think I've counted incorrectly because I've got 133. Anyway, this is number 133. I could not believe I found this in the wild. This is actually the game I thought I was going to have the most trouble finding. And when I came across it for $30, I just snapped it up. So I believe I'm on 133 out of 166 Game Boy DMG Oz Coded games. It's actually getting really close. I don't think I'll finish it by the end of the year. Honestly, I do not think so. But, uh, kind of want to try. So there you have it. That was the Adelaide Comic and Toy Fair for October. They will be back come April next year. I'll no doubt be there again. Julian will be there again. If you're planning on coming down to Adelaide for it, I highly recommend it. It's a hell of a time. And again, thank you to everyone who came out and said hello and sort of had a chat. Really, really appreciate it. Especially because I was by myself today for most of the day. And it's just good to chat to like-minded people. So thank you. And thank you for subscribing and telling friends. And if you're not subscribed and you haven't told a friend, just do it now. Take the, uh, take the thanks in a word I can't think of right now. But until next time, remember these words. Catch phrase.
