Abdul El-Sayed confronts Muslim Brotherhood loyalty question — CUOMO

of the muslim brotherhood here's how he handled it i have one simple question will you disavow [0:22] the muslim sure yeah absolutely but i want i want to ask the question that you're asking [0:26] why are you asking the question well because they're a terrorist group okay no no but what [0:32] are you implying do you assume that i wouldn't yes why not because i have not heard you disavow them [0:38] yet have you disavowed them i haven't heard you disavow them yet do you great but here's the thing [0:43] about it you're asking the question because implicitly you assume that i'll have dual loyalties [0:50] right you assume that somehow i wouldn't disavow or that i'll have some higher order allegiance [0:57] to the constitution correct tommy is that what you imply yes why would you think trade on the probability of candidates winning and you can [1:42] do it in real time trades in the past month point to el sayed beating rogers and it surged the democratic [1:51] nominees win probability now more than doubles the forecast for rogers we're seeing similar numbers [1:57] for calci for predictions that democrats are going to win control of the senate this is shocking to me [2:03] okay beginning right after the gop's midterm convention trades which predict a blue wave poured [2:10] in democrats were trailing for most of the year pulled ahead in the prediction market and widened [2:16] the gap these numbers are the probability that a candidate or party will win not the percentage [2:21] of the vote they'll win by so does that match the reality according to the better minds democratic [2:29] strategist mr mike nellis and conservative talk show host mr mark davis uh thank you both uh now mike [2:39] when i talk about uh the prediction markets um i'm not saying i think they're wrong who knows i'm [2:46] saying i am in shock that they can be showing democrats winning both houses i mean is that your [2:53] expectation at this point and if so what do you think is driving it yeah i mean i think democrats are [2:59] in a strong position to take back the house i think they have a better than 50 50 shot right now taking [3:02] back the senate and you can smell the desperation on the republicans right now hiring a paid political [3:08] operative to go out there and spout that racist nonsense against abdul say who has repeatedly by [3:12] the way condemned the muslim brotherhood which is nothing more than a conspiracy theory the republicans [3:17] talked to other him in the very first ad they ran against abdul say when he became the nominee what [3:21] did they do they butchered his name and tried to other him to the people of michigan they're not [3:25] talking about the actual issues that people care about that's affordability that's corruption [3:29] that's everything you talked about in your monologue there that's why they're resorting to this [3:33] desperate disgusting stuff it didn't work when they attacked barack obama and they called him a podcast asking [3:48] the question today mark is barack obama a muslim uh there is an ad that just came out from el sayed [3:56] mark i want to know if you think it helps him or hurts him and if so why just play a little bit of [4:00] the el sayed ad my name is abdul it means servant i pray every day i reflect on my role in this life [4:08] on this earth how we leave it better than we found it to serve god to serve our neighbors all across [4:14] michigan families pray they feel hopeless faith is a thing there's just too little of in washington [4:21] we don't have faith in our future we don't have faith that we can actually fix things so yeah we need [4:26] a few more people of faith in washington i'm abdul al-sayhan man of faith that's a good thing and i [4:32] approve this message question is which faith right mark i mean it becomes a little bit of a rorschach [4:37] test what do you think of that ad well it's a very good ad it's very well crafted it's what i would [4:43] do if i were uh mike or if i were his campaign manager uh it is not the the smear of real michiganders [4:51] who are wondering about his allegiances is not racist it is behavioral i am completely willing to accept [4:57] with an asterisk his disavowal of the muslim brotherhood i in fact care somewhat less about [5:02] that than i do about the fact of the real problem abdul al-sayed which is that he is wrong on virtually [5:08] every issue wrong on borders wrong on energy wrong on gender and that's what i think mike rogers has [5:14] to his benefit and as for calcium don't you wish don't you wish mark was that's just that that stand [5:19] by yes for calci and polymarket this is garbage it's a bunch of randos with phones saying what they [5:25] think will happen which is interesting but not remember donald trump having to disavow that which is far [6:55] more credible than anything we have with with abdul al-sayed and the muslim brother i mean it's just [6:59] it's stupid and a good reminder they have no ideas to help improve your life nothing mark uh let me give [7:04] you the last word on the idea of explaining where we are versus explaining where they want to take us [7:10]
