Why Does Trump Keep Saying This...

[0:00] in motivating the mega base is is this is this the kind of messaging that will do it [0:06] place out seven please he came up and he was talking very nicely and i stood right over here [0:13] and i examined his ass i never did that no i never did that with a man before i examined his [0:22] ass and then i looked at his shoulders i looked at his feet i looked at his hand i looked at his [0:28] jawline studying he's got a jawline this is you would be very unfortunate if you picked a fight [0:35] with him at a bar someday you want to give me that seat no i'm not going to give you the seat [0:40] but uh i then patted him on the shoulder and it was like a piece of steel i sort of [0:46] i'm still recovering my head i was like and i explained it to the crowd i said this is unbelievable [0:52] that's right megan megan the president is right with john houston the president is right uh as the [1:02] kids would say john houston has a dump truck and he's going to use that dump truck to deliver for [1:07] ohio but i i think it goes to the larger point that i think ashbrook was making is like trump is [1:14] a showman and the people are there for the trump show and if that gets them to vote early if it [1:20] gets them to vote on election day then that's a win but ultimately at the end of the day when [1:24] you're the party in power you can't let this be just a referendum on the last two years of the trump [1:31] administration you have to set the stakes of the choice in this election they're going to raise your [1:36] taxes for those you know elderly people who are getting no tax on social security let them know [1:41] about that right or no tax on tips or no tax on overtime or the fact you secured the border and all [1:46] those sorts of things that can be done in concert with with what trump is doing himself personally [1:52] if that makes sense well wait here's here's another possibility sought six so here in kentucky's fourth [1:59] district we're going to send ed galrine to the u.s house of representatives and he's going to be [2:09] he's going to be a perfect man you know i needed somebody good and this guy walks through the door [2:16] i said look at this beautiful guy he shook my hands he is he is he's getting interrupted by a [2:34] take him back home to mom baby back home to mom [2:42] the president knows beauty he was you know he did pageants forever that's true he understands uh [2:48] television and the art form is a visual medium and what i also notice is a lot of these protesters [2:53] that are always standing up they always tend to be really ugly or fat or both yeah yeah [2:59] plenty of observations why why are you giving me a hard time about alissa [3:04] so comfortable disgusting [3:09] fair fair the president in my in my estimation the president is trying to charm his audience [3:17] and you know he's trying to make it worth their while they come out they slog they have to wait [3:21] in line they get there they want some laughs they don't want like policy let me rehabilitate my decisions [3:27] on this that or the other thing if they want to laugh they want to have a good time they want to be [3:31] reminded of why they fell in love with him to begin with and humor is a huge part of it so he's doing [3:37] what he can to make them laugh and say things that he believes i mean i'm sure he is very looks focused [3:44] very looks focused and um he does i believe think these guys are genuinely good looking and he respects [3:52] that ken paxton gets a different kind of treatment oh gosh he does sure he does i'm not sure if that's [3:58] helpful but it probably is because he's kind of calling a spade a spade there and kind of putting [4:02] it out out there like look he's not the best looking guy that's john houston yeah it's the resonance [4:09] right i mean what has resonated with the typical maga base is not some policy presentation and it's going [4:16] to look a lot different than previous presidents of both parties when you're trying to animate people for [4:21] a midterm election so yeah i mean people are going to look at me like well all that's going to do is [4:25] make the left furious well i got news for them the left's already furious yeah like they're coming [4:30] question is whether our folks do too and i think that what this whole effort is about [4:52]
