Trump CRUMBLE As July 4th Speech BACKFIRES

[0:00] Well, folks, Donald Trump gave his big speech [0:02] at Mount Rushmore last night [0:03] to celebrate America's 250th anniversary. [0:06] And surprise, surprise, [0:08] the speech was not focused on America at all. [0:10] There was no uniting message, [0:11] no we can be great kind of theme. [0:14] It was just Donald Trump airing out his personal grievances, [0:17] talking about communism. [0:18] He did that a lot in the speech. [0:20] It sounds like that's going to be his midterm message, [0:22] which I don't think is going to work, [0:24] but nonetheless, that's what he really focused on. [0:26] So I have just a couple of clips [0:27] to show you from the speech, [0:28] and that's all you need to see. [0:30] It'll sum it up just nicely. [0:31] But before we get into that, [0:33] before we watch the clips of Donald Trump, [0:35] I want to point out that, you know, [0:36] he was on social media bragging about this event. [0:39] He said, heading to beautiful Mount Rushmore to speak. [0:42] This was right before his speech. [0:44] And then later, after that, [0:45] he posted a photo of his new Qatari jet [0:48] flying over Mount Rushmore. [0:50] He really liked the action shot, [0:52] so he made sure to upload it online. [0:54] And then after the speech, [0:55] which was meant to be a uniting moment, [0:58] then he decides to attack Democratic senators. [1:00] So for example, he compares Senator John Ossoff [1:03] to Pee Wee Herman. [1:05] And then after that, [1:06] he also compared Democratic Senate candidate [1:08] James Tallarico to Alfred Newman. [1:12] And so that's what Trump was focused on [1:13] on the eve of America's 250th anniversary. [1:16] But, you know, [1:17] what else would Trump be focused on, right? [1:19] It's not like he actually cares [1:20] about the country or anything, [1:21] but let's get into the, you know, [1:23] before the speech, [1:24] the stuff that happened before [1:25] that really raised some eyebrows. [1:27] So let's start here. [1:28] Ahead of his political rally and speech [1:30] yesterday night in front of Mount Rushmore, [1:32] the White House has said [1:33] that Trump could be an addition [1:34] to the monument. [1:36] Yes, because Trump needs [1:37] to feel good about himself. [1:39] Remember, this is an incredibly [1:40] egotistical, narcissistic man. [1:43] And if he's not getting his daily rush [1:44] of, oh, people love me, [1:46] well, then, you know, [1:47] he's going to have some problems. [1:48] Then he starts to lash out. [1:49] They said that he could be an addition [1:50] to the monument, [1:51] which contains the faces, [1:52] of course, [1:53] America's most important leaders, [1:54] such as George Washington, [1:55] Thomas Jefferson, [1:57] Roosevelt, Lincoln, quote, [1:58] there would be no better addition [1:59] to the iconic Mount Rushmore [2:01] than the 45th and 47th president [2:03] of the United States, [2:04] Donald Trump, [2:05] said a White House spokesperson. [2:07] We're just paying taxpayer dollars [2:10] to these White House employees [2:11] to put out these BS statements daily [2:13] that just hype up Donald Trump. [2:14] It drives me nuts [2:16] that our taxpayer dollars [2:17] are going to pay these people's salaries [2:18] and pay Donald Trump's goons [2:20] and stuff like that. [2:21] But, you know, [2:21] this is what they're spending their time doing, [2:23] sending out press releases [2:24] that Trump could be added [2:25] to the Mount Rushmore. [2:28] That's a big focus for Donald Trump. [2:29] He's really focused on that [2:31] in recent years, [2:32] posting AI images of his face [2:33] being added to the monument. [2:35] But nonetheless, [2:36] before the speech, [2:37] it seems like Mother Nature spoke. [2:38] And look, [2:39] I'm not a religious person whatsoever, [2:41] but it seems like [2:42] there might be a God [2:44] because the weather [2:45] keeps messing with Donald Trump, [2:47] whether it be the state fair [2:48] where there's extreme heat [2:49] and it's been forced to shut down [2:50] or Mount Rushmore [2:52] having there be hail and rain [2:54] just before Donald Trump's speech. [2:55] It seems like Mother Nature [2:57] is speaking [2:58] if she's out there [2:59] and having something to say. [3:00] So take a look at this clip [3:01] of Fox News [3:02] breaking the news [3:03] that there is some bad weather [3:05] and they're asking people [3:06] to go indoors [3:07] right before Donald Trump's speech [3:08] last night. [3:09] Well, I got some breaking news here. [3:11] They just said [3:11] that there's severe weather on the way. [3:13] In fact, [3:13] they said hail could be coming [3:14] and they're urging everybody [3:15] to get inside. [3:17] We're going to stay here [3:18] for just a second here. [3:20] Senator Rounds, [3:20] thank you so much. [3:21] We're going to get to shelter [3:22] and thank you for being here [3:25] and happy for us. [3:26] Welcome to South Dakota. [3:40] It says, [3:40] nothing captures [3:41] the state of America [3:42] quite like Mount Rushmore [3:43] appearing to cry [3:45] as hail falls ahead [3:46] of Donald Trump's speech. [3:47] It's hard to ignore [3:48] that this is yet another example [3:50] of extreme weather [3:51] and it's surrounding [3:52] a Trump-centered event. [3:54] I believe that nature speaks. [3:56] And take a look at this video. [3:57] I mean, it is bad. [4:05] Do you guys have any questions [4:08] while we're here? [4:10] Property sex. [4:11] We got time for an interview? [4:12] Yeah. [4:16] I mean, wow. [4:22] It really does look like, [4:24] you know, [4:24] some of these faces [4:25] are crying here, [4:26] especially George Washington [4:27] right there. [4:27] It really looks like he's crying [4:29] just before Donald Trump's speech [4:31] and well put by Noah [4:32] with this tweet [4:33] that I really agreed with. [4:34] And on the topic of weather [4:36] and on the topic [4:36] of Trump-related events, [4:38] same thing happening [4:38] at his state fair. [4:39] I mean, yesterday, [4:40] it had to close [4:41] due to heat. [4:42] Everyone must exit [4:43] until 5 p.m., [4:44] the event said, [4:45] when it would inevitably restart. [4:47] But there were a number of people [4:48] who passed out [4:49] due to the heat. [4:50] It got so bad [4:51] that they actually had [4:52] to be taken to the hospital. [4:54] A number of people. [4:55] And for tomorrow, [4:56] or I should say today, [4:57] July 4th, [4:58] America's 250. [4:59] I'm filming this video [5:00] late at night. [5:00] But America's 250, [5:02] they're also delaying [5:03] the start of the state fair. [5:05] They're now opening at 12 [5:06] instead of 10. [5:07] They put out a statement [5:08] saying this, [5:08] With warm temperatures expected, [5:10] guests are encouraged [5:11] to stay hydrated, [5:12] wear lightweight clothing, [5:13] apply sunscreen, [5:14] the good stuff. [5:15] They also will have water, [5:17] cooling tents, [5:17] air-conditioned cooling buses, [5:19] and, you know, [5:20] the stuff that they should be having. [5:22] But according to organizers, [5:23] so far, they have not had. [5:24] But I really don't understand [5:25] this decision from Freedom 250, [5:27] given the fact that [5:28] at 10 a.m., [5:29] it's going to be 92 degrees, [5:31] excuse me. [5:32] And then when it comes around [5:33] to opening time, [5:34] around 12, [5:35] it's going to be 99 degrees. [5:36] It's only going to get hotter. [5:37] So I'm not exactly sure [5:38] why they're delaying [5:39] the opening of the state fair [5:41] just for it to get hotter. [5:43] But I digress. [5:44] Everything seems to be going wrong [5:46] for Donald Trump. [5:47] And then eventually, [5:48] he got on stage [5:49] to give his speech. [5:50] And man, oh man, [5:50] was it bad. [5:51] As I mentioned, [5:52] he really focused on communism. [5:53] There was no uniting message [5:54] for Donald Trump. [5:55] Let's start with this clip here [5:56] where he said, [5:57] You can be a communist [5:58] or you can be a patriot. [6:00] You cannot be both. [6:01] As for those who peddle [6:02] communist lies about our heritage, [6:04] tell our children [6:04] that we live on stolen land [6:05] and that our heroes were oppressors, [6:07] they're doing something [6:07] much worse than slandering our past. [6:09] They're slandering [6:10] and attacking our future. [6:11] Not going to let that happen. [6:13] All of this is very ironic [6:14] coming from Donald Trump, [6:15] a man who tried [6:17] to overturn elections [6:18] he didn't like, [6:19] has tried to declare himself [6:20] an authoritarian and more. [6:22] You can be loyal to Karl Marx [6:25] or you can be loyal to America. [6:28] You can be a communist [6:29] or you can be a patriot. [6:31] You cannot be both. [6:32] As for those who peddle Marx's lies [6:35] about our heritage, [6:37] who tell our children [6:38] that we live on stolen land [6:41] or that our heroes were oppressors, [6:44] they're doing something much worse [6:46] than slandering our past. [6:48] They are slandering [6:48] and attacking our future. [6:51] I'm not going to let that happen. [6:53] They're trying to tear down [6:54] the great American character [6:56] to destroy the people [6:57] who declared independence, [7:00] who crossed the Delaware, [7:01] who settled the West [7:02] and conquered the skies. [7:04] You know who those people are. [7:06] But we will never let that happen. [7:08] Our American ancestors [7:10] did not shed their blood [7:11] at Concord and Trenton, [7:13] Gettysburg and Shiloh, [7:15] Midway and Normandy, [7:17] just so that a band of thieves, [7:19] radicals and lunatics [7:20] could come in and loot, [7:22] pillage our nation. [7:24] Our heroes died to win, [7:26] build and to save [7:27] and to build truly a great country, [7:29] the greatest country ever in the world. [7:32] He's really relying on the teleprompter [7:35] in this speech, [7:36] which I thought was interesting. [7:37] Maybe the White House [7:38] is finally realizing [7:39] that Trump doesn't have it anymore. [7:41] Did he ever have it? [7:42] You know, that's for you to decide, [7:43] but certainly is cognitively declining. [7:46] And so when he goes off script [7:47] and goes on one of his little weaves, [7:49] as he likes to call it, [7:50] it never really ends well. [7:51] He says something pretty stupid [7:53] and it gets a lot of news, [7:54] but you can tell the theme already [7:55] of Donald Trump's speech. [7:56] It's attacking the Democrats [7:58] and labeling people [7:59] who disagree with Trump [8:00] as communists. [8:01] And of course, [8:02] he's over-exaggerating [8:03] what Democrats are [8:04] and who we are [8:05] and what we believe, [8:06] but that's the goal of this speech. [8:07] And it seems like, [8:08] as I said as well, [8:09] this might be [8:10] the midterm messaging [8:11] for the Republicans. [8:12] And look, [8:13] if they want to run [8:14] on all Democrats are communists, [8:16] they want to ruin America, [8:17] all that stuff, [8:17] the same thing [8:18] that they've been saying [8:19] for like what, [8:20] the past 30, 40, 50 years [8:21] about Democrats, [8:22] then I encourage them to do so. [8:24] Really, I have no problem with it [8:25] because we know [8:26] that we're not communists. [8:27] I'm a Joe Biden Democrat. [8:28] I'm a liberal. [8:29] We know that. [8:30] And we're running [8:30] on a policy platform [8:31] of we want to give people housing. [8:33] We want to make sure [8:34] people have health care. [8:35] We want to make sure [8:35] Americans are educated. [8:37] We want to make sure [8:37] they can afford things. [8:38] They can put a roof over their head, [8:40] food on their table, [8:40] and feed their family. [8:41] If Republicans want [8:42] to label that communist, [8:44] then I think it's going [8:44] to backfire pretty badly [8:45] for them in the midterms. [8:46] Here's another clip [8:47] where Trump is vowing [8:49] to send communism [8:50] into exile. [8:51] So on the eve [8:58] of this 250th anniversary [9:01] of American heritage, [9:03] we resolve and swear [9:04] for all to hear [9:06] that the citizens [9:07] of the United States [9:08] of America [9:09] will vanquish communism quickly. [9:13] Don't let them [9:13] take too much of your time. [9:16] You know they're wasting [9:16] your time, don't you? [9:18] But we're not going [9:18] to let them take too long [9:20] or too much of our time [9:21] as they play their games [9:22] and send them into exile. [9:25] We will send them [9:26] quickly away [9:27] and we will continue [9:29] to build our country [9:31] bigger and better [9:32] and stronger [9:32] than ever before. [9:35] America will never be [9:36] a communist country. [9:44] So I just want [9:46] to be clear about something [9:47] because Donald Trump [9:49] is not talking [9:50] about communists here. [9:52] You know people [9:52] who are actually communists [9:53] and believe in communism [9:54] because as you'll notice [9:55] there's no self-proclaimed [9:56] communists in government [9:57] anywhere in the United States. [9:59] Any major elected official [10:00] in the Democratic Party [10:01] or anywhere [10:02] just doesn't declare [10:03] themselves as a communist. [10:04] But what he means [10:05] by communism [10:05] and communists [10:06] is democrats. [10:08] So when he's saying [10:08] we're going to vanquish [10:09] communism [10:10] we're going to get them out [10:11] we're going to eradicate them [10:12] he's talking about democrats. [10:15] I mean he's using [10:15] those terms interchangeably [10:17] and he's done that [10:17] his entire political career. [10:19] So this is actually [10:20] quite a scary statement [10:21] coming from the president [10:22] of the United States [10:23] given that we know [10:24] what he actually means by it [10:26] and what he'll do [10:27] to achieve it. [10:28] And that's something [10:28] that I think we really [10:29] have to be aware of [10:31] going into the midterm elections [10:33] which are really not [10:34] that far away. [10:34] And speaking of the [10:35] midterm elections [10:36] Donald Trump also just [10:37] kind of gave the playbook [10:38] away last night [10:39] talking about how [10:40] republicans can cheat [10:41] and win elections [10:42] by cheating [10:43] for many years to come. [10:45] We can only lose [10:51] the midterms [10:53] if we allow ourselves [10:54] to lose the midterms [10:55] if we are foolish [10:57] stupid [10:58] and unwise. [10:59] But if we terminate [11:01] the filibuster [11:02] as we should do [11:03] and immediately vote [11:05] for the Save America Act [11:07] then we will not lose [11:09] an election [11:11] for a hundred years. [11:14] We do that [11:15] we're not going to lose [11:16] an election for a hundred years. [11:19] Pass the Save Act [11:21] he says [11:21] we won't lose [11:22] for a hundred years [11:23] he says. [11:26] Trump has given away the game. [11:28] He knows that [11:28] the Save Act [11:29] which would heavily restrict [11:31] methods of voting [11:32] for people who primarily [11:33] lean left [11:34] to the Democrats [11:35] will give republicans [11:36] the advantage. [11:37] It's not about [11:38] winning the hearts [11:39] and minds [11:40] of the American people [11:41] fairly. [11:41] Saying [11:42] here are my ideas [11:43] you decide [11:44] whether they're better [11:45] than their ideas. [11:46] It's not about [11:46] that. [11:47] It's about [11:48] how can we tip [11:49] the scales [11:49] in a way [11:50] that gives us [11:51] the advantage [11:52] before anybody [11:53] even casts a vote. [11:55] How can we make it [11:56] impossible [11:57] for the other side [11:58] to vote [11:59] and get their people out? [12:00] How can we make it [12:00] easiest [12:01] for our people [12:02] to get out there [12:03] and vote? [12:03] That's what [12:04] Donald Trump [12:04] is saying here [12:05] and again [12:06] something that we [12:07] have to be aware [12:08] of going into [12:08] the midterms. [12:09] Thankfully [12:09] right now [12:10] the Save Act [12:11] is dead.
