[00:00:00] Speaker 1: yeah this was just saturday night uh room trading at retro horicon and that's our our new show where do you see the november show i've never had this i think it's in really good shape i'm ready but are you ready all right so this is pickups from retro horicon and all of this was picked up not during the show floor because during the show floor i'm running around running the show so i don't get a lot of time to shop so my shopping time is after hours so everything you see in here was room trading which is one of the great elements of our show it is a toy show the guests are just horror themed like this was in the room these thundar figures are amazing i think this was 100 bucks uh so oh you know he's dusty clean it up put it in the case i got these secret wars figures which are awesome again room trading yeah i have like four of this guy now everybody's bringing it used to be king and now i got doc ock two a team figures these are the bad guys nice still sealed you know a little sun fading unpunched uh you gotta love the wanted posters look at that's rattler and cobra those are the bad guys so i went into one room and it was just full of boxes so these are just empty joe boxes but the thing is i have all of this stuff so we'll be able to complete all these so i'd gotten you know the dreadnought cycle swamp fire and then there's some of them there's box so then this was in here so this is the gi joe x-wing sky storm x-wing so i think there's two vehicles here where they're actually in the box so i got that this is a battle force you know pulverizer it's unfortunately battle force so this is cool ben franklin it's always interesting to see where the stickers are uh this is the armadillo and the good thing too is the the battle points or the flag points are not cut out of these which is great so there's another one then you got the devil fish that's andy's favorite that's his most favorite this is in here it's the vector jet but again it's battle force and nobody cares so destro's dominator which is cool uh we can probably put one of those in no how is it all the tabs are broken where the treads fold uh we can't do that but we're ready this is a tough one and this was like a miracle because it's a so this is the hammer this is probably one of the most impossible joe vehicles to build and even though it's not gold plastic it's like gold plastic syndrome the the this gray p the thing that ha and it the thing is it's in here a it's the antenna please hopefully this is right side up but this was all there oh wait there's the antenna tell me that's not that's a quick antenna begging to tip thing right yeah okay begging to be broke [00:03:56] Speaker 2: there's cobra's hideout you'll never get past the hurricane cobra hurricane's a vertical takeoff terror with missiles that really fire but here comes the gi joe hammer with twin fft missile banks and rotating machine guns go get him hammer let's have a cobra yeah joe cobra hurricane comes with pilots gi joe hammer sold separately [00:04:24] Speaker 1: so these these plates are always broken i don't even want to do anything with these gone to garbage they just snap so this is totally intact you know i got the other parts are in here and then you have this ridiculously long antenna which every kid broke uh with the little nub on the end okay so then this was a thousand i think so i think he wanted 12 and you're like i think i got called into the room because he's like i got a lot of boxes and he knows i like boxes so then when i came in he's like buy everything and it's like i want like three thousand dollars or something and i was like i don't want everything i just want the boxes which is why you called me in i mean and there was a lot of loose stuff but when it comes to loose stuff i have so much of it that i just really didn't need it so then we just worked a deal uh and then he says well give me a thousand for all the all the empty boxes and that included this these i think i filled with additional boxes just to get everything the problem with this is we can't take apart a moray to put in a box without breaking it it's been done once you break the little tips on top did we break three to get one i broke a couple to get one there's night landing i can do that and look at this was this him too i think all of them because look at those were on the table remember look at the back look at that white it's never that white it's usually like it's usually like this might go to the basement might go to my files and look more boxes them damn duke boys trouble bubble we can do that 20 times over yeah and then we got oh and there's instruction so now these we're gonna what we'll do is we'll complete all of these and put these uh in our booth for retro toy con coming up but then we got this so what do we pay for this 1300 1400 because this is super minty we we're probably going to grade this one did you ever see that the artist is written here have you ever seen look at that it's it's in the painting and there's a little sticker here it's official then i got this look at that look at that lighted electric slot racing set that's going in the basement with my knight rider set and my thundercats set and my gi joe set well i have the train set and the highway truck and you might not have seen this look at this the rhino is purple but why do they make it this color but i mean the jackhammer right this is jackhammer it's black so i mean this makes sense but why that's purple i have no idea and i'm i'm assuming this is all here i didn't we kind of i mean i don't know why there's 50 rubber bands in here they're vintage rubber bands so we will save them i think he had 325 he said give me 300. [00:08:09] Speaker 3: it's the mass road race set the rhino rig and venom jackhammer are battling around the curves and down the straightaways with working headlights and laser cannons blasting away a dual lap counter lets you know who's ahead you're in command race head to head through the deadly squeeze track for real racing excitement mass road racing train set each sold separately she had conan storyboards [00:08:31] Speaker 1: from the what is it conan the adventure cartoon and you know granted they're photocopies but where else do you get to see this stuff and oh oh look at that i don't know who that is so here's another one color models ups revisions the wolf mother so then i got to conan and i got to my little pony so this was sending the clown i don't know if that's episode 200 i don't know how to read this 1992 first draft revised on 610 final draft 71 and then it's just uh i just thought this was super cool i don't collect my little pony but whenever you get to see some original storyboard stuff it's not like you're gonna see this that often so these i'll put out now if it was a gi joe storyboard and i'd keep it oh see there was another my little pony but these had like bigger drawings i just think this is so cool you just get all these drawings which is how they determine how to animate you know and then i guess the descriptions of you know this would probably be all the different colors or this is going to be whatever that you know the great lemonade stand wars so this will be for that and i think these were a hundred dollars a piece the boxes were a thousand the mask slot car was 300 the a-team secret wars voltron i think i owe her 1900. see the thing is that my shows they seek me out it's like i'm like i'm a mark you might not even seen this so kenner did special pack-ins on boxes where if this if this was a kenner star wars box there'd be a special sticker and say it's a land speeder or darth vader's tie fighter might come with darth vader and a stormtrooper or the land speeder might have r2 and 3po as a bonus pack-in so for this this was a slave one backdrop special offer pack-in you would open this up and this is your backdrop and you can put your slave one right there or you could put whatever you want there you could put a tie fighter there but this was just a special pack out and these i think i traded him a boxed kenner 12 inch boba fett for it i think he wanted a thousand and i was like they're not a thousand they're like 500 max four to 500. so then he's like well i think we had 450 on a a boxed kenner boba fett so he's like well i'll just take that so then we just traded i've never had this i think it's in really good shape i mean the back's got a little but that doesn't matter but yeah so kenner did this they did it with a lot of things where they had a special i don't know how to say it like a pack out it was just a bonus item because i remember i bought my second ad at the time i bought it i bought it just to get the survival gear and then in my brain i was like i need five adats anyway because there was five adats you know in hoth but i only got two yeah this was just saturday night uh room trading at retro horicon and that's our our new show where do you see the november show there'll be 70 rooms trading so this is stuff that you could find because a lot of people they just do the show and then they love the show and then they're like well have you if you stayed after hours and it's like no i was like there's so much to be seen so much to be had so you you know come see us if you come stay after don't leave like like all of this was bought at like 10 o'clock at night or midnight this is super cool this is a care package it could be something i paid for it could be a gift but they really this is how travis sends his boxes out he does all this incorrect do not spread that misinformation so we got time to draw how cool is that though right i have to keep this box now maybe we put it on believe so he said that he i guess they had access because i guess one was made and then they scanned it and then he was making it and he's been selling them and if if i wanted to have one and i said well then i don't want just one because if i put one for display and sell it then i got to tell you to make me another one yeah uh so send me two so i could show one and when somebody wants to buy it i'll give them one and then yeah i'll order another and then or send me three so he's he's sending some now did are they just making [00:14:23] Speaker 4: the item or are they doing the whole nine the leftovers this was the play set i guess that never got made oh look at the back there's the recipe so the fortress fridge i'm afraid this refrigerator is fully operational oh they did a good job right so i guess this just would you know it's a refrigerator i want food for kitchen commandos we can chew in juice bombs so i guess you put your juice bombs in the fridge if i get them in straight which i can't you got to put it in straight to begin with right because then there's no room to tilt it some federation fuel now this one if you saw that we had some really cool [00:15:35] Speaker 4: slam moves and we get like three or four of them uh no it's not slam move uh what was the one that we got three of the moby lake moby lake that's right so yeah we got this from uh so this is corvin corvin from santa monica is that right no he's from washington washington that's right okay he sent us [00:15:59] Speaker 1: a big kenner batman collection the 1701 picard the three boxed moby licks and this is the next batch which travis i think knows and i don't know what this is uh i know well he he was working on how to [00:16:14] Speaker 4: pack this properly how to make it affordable yeah shipping's gotten so nuts so he has right he has so many toys that he was trying to balance each load to be you know worth him sending as efficient as he [00:16:29] Speaker 1: could do as efficient as possible i still want the exclusive marvel kb shirt we got to find that and these are where you got the flare cards that well they changed throughout uh as the as it went [00:16:39] Speaker 4: on is that later because i don't remember always these yeah yeah they always had cards in the back they always had cards wow this one's a redo so this the first one a redux i get repackaged re-release whatever i mean it's the same figure it looks the same from the front different card back and a newer card on the inside so when the series really took off they just produced them you get all these little magnetic super cool he's a retired postman more than that rogues storms oh wow how many we got a oh my god ice mans and ice mans he stocked up on night crawlers i will tell you that did he did he just send us his night crawler [00:18:20] Speaker 4: geez maza faza if you look at the uh mr sinister one of them had a red cape no way yeah oh yeah look at that so they did this with the beard red cape inside blue cape outside they did one without one red just all red cape all blue cape like there's so many variations of just no beard or go or yeah or even the black [00:18:47] Speaker 1: yeah black lipstick yeah yeah [00:18:51] Speaker 4: yes sir it was it was like just do what you want at the factory they had all kinds of things like that i mean we got a variation of cyclops here so when it was first released it was like this with the white x factor x they repainted it but if you look closely you can still see where the x was meant to go it has an indention where it was supposed to be painted [00:19:15] Speaker 1: this is the slightly turned head the slightly turned variant versus facing forward variant you're right about that this is slightly turned to the other direction variant yep [00:19:26] Speaker 4: this is the suction cup mid-thigh i never understood why he gets one like on his thigh and one on his hand yeah so he could just put them right on the wall just don't don't
