[00:00:30] Speaker 2: - Who is this?
[00:00:31] Speaker 3: - It's the Carneosatosaurus.
[00:00:33] Speaker 2: - Carneosatosaurus? - It's Carntosaurus. - Quetzalcoatlus?
[00:00:40] Speaker 1: - Quetzalcoatlus?
[00:00:41] Speaker 2: - Quetzalcoatlus? - What you got there, Chief? - All right, so we had this gentleman come in. He's been cleaning out his attic. And he brought us some awesome Jurassic Park.
[00:01:08] Speaker 4: - To your left, you may see a giant Stegosaurus. Don't worry, they're safely secured. - Look out! - Jurassic Park!
[00:01:15] Speaker ?: - Dino damage!
[00:01:16] Speaker 4: - The dinosaurs are on a rampage, and only the JP team is tough enough to stop them. - Grant fires his net launcher. - L.A. launches her grappling hook, while Dune and the Jungle Explorer stuns him. - Nat time! - Tim Murphy saves a baby dinosaur. - Snagasaurus! Look out, Nedry! - Hungry for action? It's happening, but only at Jurassic Park.
[00:01:38] Speaker 2: - Now, not everything is boxed, but most is boxed. And I think these are all complete. And to be honest, we don't get boxed Jurassic Park that much.
[00:01:47] Speaker 3: - No, not too much.
[00:01:49] Speaker 2: - Oh, so look, so this one's cool, right? Who is this? The Utahraptor.
[00:01:53] Speaker 5: - Utah.
[00:01:54] Speaker 2: - Utah. - Or is it Utah?
[00:01:56] Speaker 5: - I don't know.
[00:01:57] Speaker 2: - I know. - Utah's fine. - The state is Utah, but I don't know, you know. So this one, he just said no collector card. But you know, there's some cards I just remember seeing back behind the counter. They're like in top loaders. - Yeah, really? - I wonder if we have that card. So, you know, he's got the little mouthpiece, the little neck piece. - Huh? - Whoa. - It still works. How cool is that? So these are, so this is Triceratops. What makes these things special is every kid lost the little removable flesh piece. So you will end up getting these in and it's rubber. But then that's, every kid lost that. So that's kind of what makes this worth something versus not worth something. The fact that it has the box too. And then I guess, look, he had the card. Yeah, this one's a mess. This is Quetzalcoatlus.
[00:02:50] Speaker 1: - Quetzalcoatlus.
[00:02:51] Speaker 2: - Quetzalcoatlus. I think these are always, so we have the little gear he came with. But he's shot. 'Cause this is supposed to connect to here. And then that one's broke. - But I mean, I just think, I don't know if it was, they should have made that detach or reattach. - Yeah, it's probably just kind of the best design. - So, but you know, it's got his little headgear, which is cool. So they, I guess they let them fly around in Muslims, so they can't eat anybody. I don't know, even though they did terrorize everybody. So then that was that. So this was cool. Okay. So it was a lot of the loose figures that weren't complete, but we tried to match up the pieces that did come with them. 'Cause everyone came with a little dinosaur. And these guys might be 10 bucks when they're just the dude and the dinosaur. But this was a really good piece. And then you got his chain. I forget, who is this?
[00:03:57] Speaker 3: - It's the carneasatosaurus.
[00:03:59] Speaker 2: - Carneasatosaurus? - It's a, it's a carntosaurus. - Yeah, this one, this is a good one. - The devil dinosaur. - But, because of that. I mean, sometimes you'll even see them severely discolored, or this discolored from that, or this from this. So the key is, again, having the flesh piece, and then, yeah, we have all three. Oh, I gotta put that in. Yeah, this is like a cool little thing for kids, but of course the kids would lose it. But then, you know, you have the leg shackles, the neck piece, and then, you know, the, I guess the face guard. And then, you know, the little dudes like this. Man, they were really mean to these dinosaurs. Muzzled them up and shackled them up. And then, there's these little dudes, which I forget their names. This was super cool. But, you know, they gotta.
[00:04:56] Speaker 3: - Is that the one that eats things?
[00:04:58] Speaker 2: - No. But he does do sound, but I don't. Oh, yeah. They do have that little thing where the neck wants to sit in too long in a bin, you know? It just looks like it's,
[00:05:13] Speaker 3: but I mean, it's in great shape. - Yeah. - Get that bin neck.
[00:05:17] Speaker 2: - The bin neck? - The bin neck. The cool thing with all the old JP stuff is you just, if you wanna look 'em up, you don't have to figure this. You don't need to know the guy's name. You just type JP09. Makes it so much easier. But the newer stuff doesn't do that. And then, there was this dude, and he's got his flesh piece.
[00:05:33] Speaker 3: - Stegosaurus.
[00:05:34] Speaker 2: - This is JP07.
[00:05:35] Speaker 3: - '07. - '07.
[00:05:37] Speaker 2: - '07, double, yeah, this is the James Bond JP. And what were these?
[00:05:43] Speaker 3: - They were in, I think, some of the bubbled dinosaurs, like in the bottom, I think, right?
[00:05:49] Speaker 2: - Okay. Wow, look at that guy.
[00:05:53] Speaker 3: - Snake neck-a-saurus.
[00:05:55] Speaker 2: - They hook his neck to his head. They're just mean. - Hey, look.
[00:05:59] Speaker 3: He had a tough life. - It's like locking up the letter S.
[00:06:10] Speaker 2: - Whenever we get this copter, it's always broke. Like, this thing's shot. But, I mean, he's got the instructions. He's got the net. So, for whatever reason, he didn't have the box for this. He's got the little... What were you supposed to do with this? Pick up a...
[00:06:27] Speaker 3: Take dinosaurs to Dino Jail. - How do you... I don't know, I don't know. - What do you, what do you... - If we had the box, we would know.
[00:06:36] Speaker 4: - Muldoon takes the capture copter to save Nedry.
[00:06:39] Speaker 5: - Fire the net! Got 'em! Nedry's free!
[00:06:42] Speaker 4: - But the stomping and roaring giant T-Rex spots an easy meal, each sold separately. Look for the JP mark. It's happening, but only at Jurassic Park.
[00:06:54] Speaker 2: - Capture cruisers all there. So, I think this was open on one side. So, these are really cool. I mean, he kept everything immaculate. You know, you got the instructions. You got really good boxes. I mean, we get asked for Jurassic. We just never... We don't see it a lot. It's weird what you see a lot of and what you don't, and is it regional or not, you know? It's like for us, everybody around here is G.I. Joe, Star Wars, He-Man. - Yeah, like the big three. - Transformers to a good degree, I guess. - It's gotten better. - But Thundercats now. - Nah. Not really Silverhawks either. - Yeah, I mean, these are just great boxes. Yeah, you should look at this box. - Hmm? - Look at this kid.
[00:07:42] Speaker 3: Doesn't look like he's in danger.
[00:07:43] Speaker 2: - He looks like he's riding a rollercoaster and he's in fear of his life. - Wow, I'm catching the dinosaur, guys. - He's like, "Whoa, we're going too fast, Dad." - But this, like... - Man, look at him. - This guy's shooting an ordinance right next to a kid. Wow. - Well, the kid's caught this guy. Yeah. - That's my adventure. - Yeah, this is... Now, that's pod racing. Oh, this one had to come apart. - Yeah, you have to just... This one, he didn't have it in the box. He had it built. Travis took it apart so we could put it back in the box. But, I mean, this is cool. This is the Dino Tracker series, so that was pretty cool. Those are like Mad Max-ish. - I don't even remember those. - I think this is where they start to get better. Or a little bit more obscure, end of the run kind of stuff. - Yeah, harder to find. - Yeah, because they were all like the mercenary guys trying to hunt all the stuff. Yeah, but this is the Jungle Runners. - You're right. - So all this, the good thing with all this stuff is all this is going to go straight into the booth for Retro Toy-Con. So, yeah, there's a whole 'nother setup that we have for the roof. - A whole 'nother. - Uh, this one, I think he said there was a problem. Something's broke on this. Holder for missile, and something's cracked. - So if we slide this out, this, this is broke. Yeah, now that goes here, and then you slide this open and then you have the launcher or shooter thing here. So I'd have to just replace that, and then that's good to go. This busts off. Still got the instructions, and again, you know, nice clean boxes. So we'll finish all these off. These will be in our booth. The compound, this was such a killer piece. So this was an awesome playset. This might be a pain. I mean, the blue parts aren't too bad. The rarest parts, at least for us, are always the little torches that go on the top of the gate. You know, it gets two of these. So those are tough. You know, and then there's the two doors that say Jurassic, you know, the iconic entrance. But it's these. And then there's, I think the doors are in here, but there is this board which closes the door. And this breaks. So this is the other hard piece for this set, in our experience. It's, you know, like we could build these all day long. It comes down to this. So like, you know, whenever we pack stuff out, we put all the small stuff in a bag. So if somebody wanted to inspect it or examine it, you know, they can see the bag that has the parts that matter. And then, you know, it has this internal cardboard sheet. And then everything else is just shoved down in here. I mean, there's your main tower, the fence that you wrap around it. I don't know, this is like the little egg hatchery thing, but we have the little eggs that are in that bag. See, this is toy companies need to do this again. This is so silly that they don't, but I guess there's the internet. So they can just say, you could just look at everything on the internet. There's something about a kid sitting in his room and he can look at all this, but there's something about circling this. You can't circle something on your phone. I had a stack of them like this. You get screenshotted. Right. You're like, I want this one. I want this one. My buddy has this one. This is Travis's favorite. He couldn't wait to get all these. And then the Nerf is like, eh, I don't care about Nerf. We should get you a Nerf football or turbo torch.
[00:11:25] Speaker 3: Only if it's one of those whistling.
[00:11:26] Speaker 2: I'll take nothing. Starting lineups? Nah. I'll take nothing. We're going to move past those, unless it's Damarino. Then you have aliens, which is cool. Jordan. Or Jordan, right? Yeah. But that, you know, and I don't even know if anybody knows what Bad Beast is, but that is kind of cool. So these are small, I guess, some transformers and go-bots. And then it looks like a pile of some paperwork, too. Yeah. So just a transformer G1, you know, the instruction booklets with unapplied sticker sheets. I mean, he just didn't put his stickers on anything?
[00:12:06] Speaker 3: Guess not. There's a dash of all kinds of stuff in there.
[00:12:11] Speaker 2: So how many, because these, you know, we have a ton of this or this. This is where the money, the value would be.
[00:12:19] Speaker 3: Right. That's sort of the, we always give that to you because we're inexperienced in buying paperwork.
[00:12:25] Speaker 4: Paper, paper.
[00:12:29] Speaker 2: Well, the problem is, you know, we'd have to save these until we got a box. Like, if we got a box ramjet. But then, in theory, you'd want the stickers not to be on them. Right. So then you don't, or take them off.
[00:12:40] Speaker 3: Jack stickers, yeah.
[00:12:41] Speaker 2: For one, two, three, four, five. And that's for the Superion box set. Because then all the stickers are together. Every jet, yeah. In one sheet instead of individually if you were to buy them. Can we find somebody selling that? No? Is this 40 bucks, 50 bucks? Because that one's a little bit more unique than. It is, but I also find that more difficult. Well, the problem is, yeah, what do you do with it? Right. Because we celebrate, so we would wait till we got a box, right? Right. We have one now. But it's already done. I wonder if it has an unapplied sticker sheet. I don't know. We could check it. That'd be good. Oh, Capsella. Nobody cares about Capsella. It was like a fancier version of Construx. Oh, wow, this is where you could order your parts. 40 cents, you get a wheel. But, yeah, nobody cares about Capsella for some reason.
[00:13:39] Speaker 5: This is the future, yours to create and control with Capsella. See-through capsules come together in a snap. Motors turn, gears mesh, build a solar station, design a rover to explore the unknown, invent a space-age submarine. And now, Capsella's 17-function computerized remote control, an infrared wireless keyboard that programs up to 94 commands. Now the future is yours to create and control with Capsella.
[00:14:08] Speaker 2: So, Travis mostly spoke to this gentleman. Yes, he's from Sweden, I think. Look at this. He gave us some cool art. Greetings from Sweden. And then, what was in here? So, it's Battle Beasts. Laser Beasts, right?
[00:14:25] Speaker 3: So, Battle Beasts, Battle Beasts.
[00:14:30] Speaker 2: Laser Beasts have like a marble in their chest.
[00:14:33] Speaker 3: Battle Beasts. Yeah, so Laser Beasts. We have three of them. And if I remember correctly, we've only ever had maybe two Laser Beasts that I can recall.
[00:14:43] Speaker 2: And now, what was the story with this guy? So, El Greco.
[00:14:49] Speaker 3: So, this was available in foreign markets only. They cast several of them in like different color plastic. Yeah. And it was just solid colors. This one is one from a set that this guy and another guy always came together. I can't remember what it is. Andy might remember better. But for whatever reason, they switched arms with the other guy. Right. So, this is a very unique one. I think this was supposed to be Blitzkrieg Bat's arms on Sly Fox.
[00:15:19] Speaker 2: Yeah, but what I was saying is how do you not get somebody to just switch the arms? Well, I mean, somebody could have.
[00:15:27] Speaker 3: But there's documented evidence. Like, it happened. In fact, like, from the factory there. So, this one is the rare one. Right. And I think these were in Greece. Maybe that's where they were produced. I'm not 100%. This is the first time we've ever had anything. Well, the guy lived in Sweden. Yeah. But he might have bought it from Greece. Oh, that's true. I think that's where the name El Greco comes from anyway. I don't know.
[00:15:52] Speaker 2: Isn't that like a type of wrestling?
[00:15:54] Speaker 3: There's a lot. I think El Greco, does that mean the Greek? I have no idea. I don't know foreign languages. Give me the Greek. I'm sure someone will tell us and they'll be happy to tell us.
[00:16:06] Speaker 2: So, these just arrived. So, we got to pay the man. I don't remember how much we owe the man. It's $180. So, we owe $180 for this. So, what's the line? Because I associate it with Jurassic Park. Oh, when he goes, clever girl?
[00:16:24] Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. Yeah, when he's tracking one of the raptors. Oh, the hunter guy with the hat? Yeah, the hunter guy.
[00:16:31] Speaker 4: Clever girl.
[00:16:34] Speaker 3: You kind of think he's going to make it the movie because he's the smart one, but he's like taken out immediately.
[00:16:39] Speaker 2: Yeah, but so I was watching, it was a movie with Arnold. I don't know if it was Total Recall. And Arnold says it. Clever girl. So, I always credit that line with Jurassic, but it's pre-Jurassic. It could have been to Sharon Stone or somebody. I know Arnold said it and I thought it was Total Recall. And he goes, clever girl.
[00:17:08] Speaker 1: Oh, boy. That's what I would have. Alright, so this is Space Jam Figures by Playmates.
[00:17:24] Speaker 6: It is Michael Jordan. And if I were Jordan, I would have sued that company out of existence.
[00:17:32] Speaker 3: It kind of looks like DMX. I think it looks, I think it looks like an alien pretending to be Michael Jordan. Or like if he threw a stubbly beard on there.
[00:17:44] Speaker 6: I mean, do we have the photo right? Is that really the Jordan figure?
[00:17:47] Speaker 3: Yeah, that's it. Yeah. That's frightening. He also looks like he's covered in a lot of Crisco oil. Does it?
[00:17:59] Speaker 6: I just like spit out. What is, what are you thinking about? You have, how do you, how do you know what somebody looks like covered in Crisco oil?
[00:18:12] Speaker 3: I'm just saying he looks, look at this image up to the, to the right. He's much more oily.
[00:18:18] Speaker 6: How does that reference even come up? Wow. Those Diddy trials. Yeah, yeah. Have you gone to the Diddy parties?
[00:18:27] Speaker 1: Boy Federation Podcast. Play us today.
