These Vintage Toys Hid a Massive Secret!

This I haven't gone through but Frank dropped this off. Thought it was kind of cool. Brave Star with a little cell and then he dropped off a bag of parts. The Fantastic Fergussons they set up at our show because he does Marvel and all that other stuff. So he came across this. I can't put that on it. He came across some G.I. Joe stuff that we I think this cost me like a thousand dollars. I mean there's some decent figures in here but the real reason I bought this was there's two G.I. Joe Crossfires which is their their remote control. So I guess he was asking 275 for that. So this is a remote control. Oh yeah. So here's the parts. So you got both instructions both remote controls and then the guns with the missiles. I think Rumbler's the driver. So then this was I think a thousand dollars. This is Power of the Force. Carbonite blocks from the Han and Carbonite. I have no blocks in the shop but I have the Hans. So now you have I got three blocks. I can do three Han and Carbonites now. And Humanoid's Tendril. So these are already sold. So he saw me walking around with these. He got Decompose. So now he'll have Tendril and Metlar. So yeah. Short tusk version. No breakage. Metlar's head has always broke off. No breaks. No. Beautiful. Same room had a Trilogo Bib Fortuna. Yuck. Right? A hundred bucks. So it's like how do I not buy it? And the bubble's not a standard Trilogo bubble to me because the corners usually they're just deeper crappier material and sometimes not so rounded corners. So this seemed like an anomaly to me even though there's really no rhyme or reason on Trilogo bubbles. And then he also had Food Fighters which you never have. I don't know what this is called. But I wanted to grade the Universals. And I wanted to grade any of the 10 backs that I had. And especially the fan club ones. And then we have uh. Yeah. Good old Mikey. Then I have some really cool Joes. Was the $35,000 G.I. Joe buy. Where like 1,000 steel. No. Like 30. 1,000. 30 steel brigades. No it wasn't that many. 20 something. [00:12:42] Speaker 3: Gold heads. Probably to open up. But then probably didn't have the heart to open them up. So for example this was. This was Lifeline. Which that one's the standard Lifeline. Now that's probably not a rare figure. It's probably 40, 50 complete. But then this is the variant. If you notice the chest. It's just I guess red chest. Unpainted. Yeah. So that that's a thing. And I didn't know of that one until he brought it in. Right. But now he'll know that it's back. And graded. So this is a variant. Andy might know better. But that's not what he normally looks like. That ozone. Yeah. Maroon or cinnamon [00:13:37] Speaker 3: ozone. And looking these up. Good luck finding one graded. Because we couldn't. That's an 85 plus. Well that and the cinnamon. And that's an 85. So they're about as good as you're going to get. And that's not. If you look him up that's not. It's a very color variant. Oh wow look. The weapons and instructions came behind the chute. And then I was drilling down more on it. And noticed the the helmet is unpainted where I don't have one. But normally the visor is painted black. And it's not. And the silver is also a different color from. Yeah the plastic looks different. [00:15:26] Speaker 1: Static line. Right. So then I was informed that this is a prototype. He showed me examples of all of them. But he doesn't have them anymore. But he that's that's how I learned. So it's a good buy. Yeah. Yeah. I got this. Yeah. Yeah. I bought them not knowing. I paid 300 bucks for the set for these three. It's not a set. But and I was like what a great score. But I didn't know. I was messaging people. What do you like have you seen this? And nobody's like oh. But then I found the one guy who had. And then you look it up and there's there's nothing. There isn't anything. There's no pictures. No. So he's like oh get it graded and then I'll put you in touch with the guy who bought mine. Because he'll want it. There you go. Yeah. So that was cool.
