"because we're flying over daylight you know we're the best at the world at night we have goggles that nobody we have goggles i've tried them unbelievable i see better with the goggles at night with it than i see without them during daylight i mean daylight today we have a beautiful day you see just"

[0:00] because we're flying over daylight you know we're the best at the world at night we have goggles [0:05] that nobody we have goggles i've tried them unbelievable i see better with the goggles at [0:10] night with it than i see without them during daylight i mean daylight today we have a beautiful [0:14] day you see just as well with goggles in many ways it's enhanced so we have the best in the world [0:22] so it's much safer for us to for us to do it at night whereas other people no other country has [0:28] that capability they don't have the they don't have that particular piece of equipment like we do [0:33] but when i was told flying and in daylight i think we flew seven hours over iran and that's a long time [0:41] over unbelievably hostile territory where they have nothing but weapons we took out their anti-aircraft [0:48] which is great we took out their radar which is great we took out a lot but they still have [0:53] you know what hit this one was a shoulder handheld shoulder missile heat-seeking missile so it's not [0:59] like you know they're totally whatever but but and they have probably a little luck because you [1:07] got to get lucky but they shot it and it got sucked in right by the engine but these guys were out of [1:12] there they were great their timing was great but no i was told that this is a very uh dangerous mission [1:19] i understand they didn't say it's a foolish mission they said you know we're going to be sacrificing [1:24] hundreds of people do this this is i mean you have tankers that are flying over this area so that they [1:29] because the flight was so long they had to refuel it's a very dangerous mission uh i just felt it [1:36] was worth it if you would have told me that we would have been successful gotten both and nobody was [1:41] even essentially injured i would have said that would be impossible yeah mr president thank you very [1:46] much uh thank you sir we'll come back okay uh given that you are now dealing you say with a more [1:52] reasonable um less uh extreme leadership in iran what does that mean for the protesters for the [1:59] human rights movement in that country after this conflict what's your yeah if they assume control if [2:06] we do something and they assume control i think it's very positive a big step uh i don't think you'd [2:11] see the radicalization that you have seen in the last look what happened i mean women are being executed [2:17] because they're not properly clothed they say they're not properly clothed and they execute the [2:23] women they absolutely they shoot them right on the street uh no you have a much different group of [2:29] people now i'm not saying we are dealing with them uh essentially they have till eight o'clock [2:37] tomorrow night eastern time but we are dealing with them i think it's going well mr whitkoff is here [2:42] and jd is involved in the dealing mr whitkoff is sitting right here and i think it's going fine but [2:49] we'll have to see you have to understand we've been dealing with these people for 47 years i'm [2:56] standing here with a much more powerful iran as of a month ago not anymore right now they are [3:03] decapitated but i'm standing here a month ago with a much more powerful iran than it was at any point [3:10] during 47 years this should have been handled by seven presidents a lot of presidents and those [3:18] presidents are saying now every one of them to their friends we should have done this a long time [3:23] ago so it's not something i like doing it's very dangerous and we're getting them at the height of [3:29] of their strength if i didn't terminate the barack hussein obama iran nuclear deal they would have had [3:37] a don't forget that was a path to a nuclear weapon remember this he chose iran over israel pure and [3:44] simple how and how israel can vote for a democrat is if you're jewish in new york city or any place [3:53] else in this country and how you can vote for a democrat is unbelievable because he chose iran a [4:00] very hostile iran remember when he filled up a 757 with cash billions of dollars of cash and he sent [4:08] it over to them then they gave them tens of billions of dollars he chose iran over israel [4:15] and really the arab world if you look because you know the other saudi arabia qatar uae i mean you [4:22] take a look i mean i can add kuwait and i can add bahrain and you can add others he chose such an [4:29] unlikely candidate nobody could believe it frankly if you're going to choose between iraq [4:35] and iran he should have chosen he should have befriended iraq he went in the exact opposite direction of [4:43] of all thinking and he made a terrible mistake but that was a road to a nuclear weapon and when [4:50] i terminated that everyone said oh he terminated it it was one of the best things we ever did because [4:55] he had a road to a nuclear weapon and it was going to it was a very short-term deal you know countries [5:01] don't do 10-year deals countries do hundreds of years you don't do a 10-year deal for a country you [5:06] need this isn't you're a landlord you're renting a store on on a certain street and you give somebody a [5:12] five-year or 10-year lease this is a country it was a short-term deal it was ready to expire [5:18] i terminated it before it expired took a lot of heat and it was one of the best things they ever did [5:23] because he would have had a nuclear weapon then he would have had another nuclear weapon [5:27] had those beautiful b2 bombers not gone in eight months ago and obliterated that said and by the way [5:33] the word is obliteration cnn said well maybe it wasn't complete it was so complete that they still [5:39] haven't been able to get it it was obliteration but if we didn't hit them that was a courageous [5:46] decision too because we had all those planes flying in at night with very little cover unbelievable [5:52] stealth planes and they were able to do their job if we didn't do that iran would have had [5:58] a nuclear weapon at a high level either one of those two instances and if they did in my opinion [6:06] i told this to bb netanyahu yesterday israel would have been extinguished large portions of the middle [6:14] east would have been extinguished whether it's saudi arabia qatar uae or others and you saw that with [6:22] thousands of missiles raining down upon them they didn't think they were going to be hit [6:26] they thought they'd be watching us fight and all of a sudden uae got hit by 1500 missiles [6:32] he would have taken them out also and they were powerful if i didn't come along and terminate the [6:40] obama deal which was terrible the iran nuclear deal was a a road to a nuclear weapon a big one unlimited [6:47] legally i terminated it without even much thought it was so easy i terminated that and then the b2 bombers [6:56] and i did one other thing i had killed kassam solemini who was an evil genius and the reason [7:05] i did it i heard he was going to knock out five of our military bases and had he lived i believe we [7:14] would be fighting perhaps a different iran right now because because he's never he's never been replaced [7:23] you know and i also i did one other but that this one was not picked up [7:27] osama bin laden if you read my book i said you got to take him out one year before the [7:33] world trade center came down so i wish you'd read the book [7:39] but you as a president to be a good president i believe you have to have good instincts [7:44] and a lot of this is instinct yeah please thank you so much [7:50] mr president last week last week you suggested that europe should take the lead on reopening the [7:55] strait of harmuz uh has circumstances changed now that you're issuing a direct 40 out eight hour [8:01] i mean 48 hour ultimatum and secondly would a new new ceasefire include israel or would it just be [8:07] between iran i can't talk about ceasefire but i can tell you that we have a active willing [8:14] participant on the other side they would like to be able to make a deal i can't say any more than that [8:19] if i get it right for you mr president thank you so much you've listed the goals excuse me please [8:25] go ahead thank you mr president who you're with who you're with my name is diar kurda i'm with the [8:29] largest kurdish media out there through the media network it's based in iran go ahead mr [8:34] president you said before that you don't want the kurdish forces to enter iran and be harmed [8:40] do you still want them to stay away or what role do you expect them to play now i'd rather have them stay [8:46] away i'd rather have them stay away because i think they bring with them some problems and some [8:51] difficulties and i don't think they bring death i mean you know to themselves but i'd rather have [8:57] them stay away go ahead thank you mr president for the question um deliberate attacks on civilian [9:06] infrastructure violate the geneva conventions and international law who are you with i'm with [9:11] the new york times zolan from the new york times are you feeling the feeling are you [9:15] concerned circulation way down at the new york times are you concerned that your threat to bomb [9:20] power plants and bridges amount no no no no i hope i don't have to do it but again i just said 47 [9:28] years they've been negotiating with these people they're great negotiators and because they're not [9:33] going to have a nuclear weapon and if somebody that takes my place someday is weak and ineffective [9:40] which possibly that will happen because we had numerous presidents that were weak ineffective [9:45] and afraid afraid of iran we're never going to let iran have a nuclear weapon and if you think it's [9:52] okay for people that are sick of mind that are tough smart and sick really sick ideal uh you know from [10:02] from a policy standpoint from a stamp any which way you want to say mentally these are disturbed people [10:10] if you think i'm going to allow them and powerful and rich to have a nuclear weapon you can [10:17] tell your friends at the new york times not going to happen [10:23] means violating international law you no longer have credibility the new york times because the new [10:29] york times said oh trump won't win the election and i won in a landslide i won every swing state new [10:34] york times said oh trump won't win the election new york times has no credibility the credibility they [10:40] have is it used to be all the news that's fit to print a great the old gray lady it was great but [10:45] they're they're running on past fumes and you can't keep doing that you have to be able to give the [10:50] correct news and people like you who i know are fake you're fake go ahead please your messaging on the [10:59] war has moved from the war is coming to an end to we're going to be bombing iran to the stone ages and [11:05] we've heard a range of those kind of messages so are you so which is it are you winding this down [11:10] tell you are you i can't tell you i don't know i can't tell it depends what they do this is a [11:15] critical period they have a period of well till tomorrow at eight o'clock i gave them an extension [11:23] they asked for an extension of seven days right i said steve give them 10 days 10 days is up actually [11:32] today so i gave them 11 i guess indirectly i thought it was inappropriate the day after easter [11:37] i want to be a nice person uh they have till tomorrow now we'll see what happens i can tell [11:45] you they're negotiating we think in good faith we're going to find out we're getting the help of [11:50] some incredible countries that want this to be ended because it affects them also a lot of people [11:57] are affected by this but we're giving them uh we're giving them till tomorrow eight o'clock eastern [12:04] time and after that they're going to have no bridges they're going to have no power plants stone ages yeah [12:18] cnn fake are you willing to make a deal that does not include reopening the strait of bormuz or is that [12:25] now a top priority i would say it's a very big priority because um see that's that's one thing [12:32] that's a little different than other than we can bomb the hell out of them we can knock them out for a [12:36] loop but to close the strait all you need is one terrorist that somehow has a truck loaded with [12:44] because you can carry them in trucks large trucks a water mine drop them in the water and now you tell [12:51] people that own ships that cost a billion dollars to don't worry about the mine you can do that even [12:56] just by saying we put mines in the water so it's not like the rest we can knock out their military we [13:02] already have we've knocked out their navy we've knocked out their air force completely we've [13:07] knocked out 158 ships in three days we've knocked out even their mind droppers they don't have any [13:13] mind droppers anymore but they put them on other boats and they could drop them i'm not even sure [13:17] they have any mines yet by the way i'm not sure i'm personally they say there might be eight i don't [13:23] know i don't know i think there might be none uh because they're very good bullshit artists that's why for [13:28] 47 years they've been bullshitting other presidents and they haven't done the job and people are living [13:34] in hell you live in that country they're living in hell no i think that uh 47 years of this stuff is [13:44] long enough they're at the weakest point they've ever been they have no navy they have no air force [13:50] they have no anti-aircraft weaponry they have no radar they have no communication in fact the biggest [13:56] problem we have in our negotiation is that they can't communicate i said to steve what are they [14:02] saying sir they can't communicate they have no method of communication so we're doing we're [14:07] communicating like they used to communicate 2 000 years ago with children bringing a note [14:13] back and forth they have no communication but all i want to see is i want to have a safe world and you're [14:20] not going to have a safe world israel will be gone the middle east will be gone and then they're coming [14:26] for europe and i have to tell you i'm very disappointed in nato very i think that nato [14:33] i think it's a mark on nato that will never disappear never disappear in my mind you know [14:37] they're coming to see me on wednesday they're going to say oh we'll do this we'll do that now they all [14:42] of a sudden want to send things you know but they said it loud and clear at the beginning when i spoke [14:47] to uk of all i would have said they would have been there first because they've been they're the oldest [14:52] and i say yeah i'd love to have a little help said no sir we'd rather wait till you win [14:57] i said i don't need help after we win they have two old broken aircraft carriers barely work [15:04] i said i guess we can use them who the hell knows i called the general he didn't even want [15:08] he said we don't really need them we got we got the ss abraham lincoln sir we don't need them [15:14] you know we have in terms of technology we had one day 101 missiles going at 2 700 miles an hour aimed [15:23] at the abraham lincoln 101 missiles out of 101 missiles 101 missiles were shot down unbelievable [15:34] technology 10 years ago five years ago i don't know if that would have been possible but 10 years [15:40] ago that wouldn't have been that wouldn't have been possible uh 101 missiles heading to a ship [15:47] that's not that far off the coast and out of the 101 missiles we shot down all 101 we have weaponry [15:57] uh the patriots are unbelievable we have weaponry that's unbelievable yeah go ahead please thank [16:07] you mr president um you said earlier today during the egg roll that you would like to take iran's oil [16:13] but americans want u.s forces home correct what's that trade if i had my choice if i had my choice yeah [16:20] because i'm a businessman first with venezuela as you know the war was over in about 45 minutes [16:29] and we have great people running venezuela very good people i mean the relationship is good [16:34] and we are a partner with venezuela and we've taken hundreds of millions of barrels hundreds of millions [16:43] over 100 million barrels already is in houston refined and out and paid paid for that war many many times [16:52] over many times and you know the old days to the victim okay you know that to the uh to the winner [17:00] belong the spoils go the spoils and i've said why don't we use it to the victor go the spoils and we [17:08] don't have that we haven't had that in this country probably in 100 years because even the second world [17:12] war you look at the second world war we didn't have it with the second world we helped rebuild all [17:17] those countries we rebuilt germany how about germany telling us germany telling us that uh well it's [17:24] not their war we had nothing to do with get they wanted me to go and tell them everything i was doing [17:30] we didn't know anything about it well if i would have told them they would have leaked it and we [17:35] wouldn't have been nearly as successful possibly right but to the victor belong the spoils so we [17:41] haven't heard we haven't heard that in i think maybe hundreds of years now with venezuela and we just [17:49] so you understand the people of venezuela they say if i ran for president of venezuela i'm polling [17:55] higher than anybody has ever polled in venezuela so after i'm finished with this i can go to venezuela [18:00] i will quickly learn spanish it won't take too long i'm good at language and i will go to venezuela i'm [18:05] going to run for president but we're very happy with the president-elect that we have right now the [18:11] the the people that are running it if you remember bush with iraq they fired the generals they fired the [18:19] police they fired the people that worked in their equivalent of the white house they fired everybody [18:25] and you know they had they had a mess and you know what happened isis formed those generals and [18:30] those soldiers got together the police got together they all got together they formed isis [18:35] not going to happen with us so venezuela has been an incredible it's been an incredible situation [18:41] we went in we were very successful military power like nobody's ever seen the general uh venezuelan [18:49] general said i was on that site i said i've never seen ferocity like that i've been doing this for [18:54] 40 years he said i've never seen it they they hit us from 17 different it was they were all set they [19:01] saw that big beautiful aircraft carrier the ford in that case and planes were pouring off it at one [19:08] o'clock in the morning so typically when you see that late at night you know you could be in trouble [19:15] right and we were all ready they had their equipment it was russian and they had chinese [19:21] equipment it was all set they were going to give us a fight he said and then they came and they came [19:27] at speeds like we've never seen and they came at 17 different angles the general and his people that [19:34] was a lot of angles they hit him from every angle he said we knew it was over in three minutes we were [19:42] waiting for him their equipment didn't work and there's a reason it didn't work someday we'll [19:47] explain that to people they pressed the button nothing happened they pressed it again and again [19:53] nothing happened and he said we knew this whole thing was over in three minutes we've never seen [19:58] any he used the word ferocity the ferocity of these planes from 17 different angles and it was over [20:05] they went inside and remember that was on a military base with thousands of soldiers [20:10] and those soldiers looked and they said get the hell out of here thousands we didn't have thousands [20:16] we had like 200 people so we have a great military and i'll tell you what somehow this rescue captured [20:25] the world's attention more so than normally you're talking about two people but this rescue captured the [20:33] world's attention but we did it in venezuela that was amazing and now we have a very bad man in [20:39] prison and going to trial i mean he he released aside from the drugs which he was terrible maduro [20:47] released hundreds of thousands of people from jails into our country drug dealers murderers the worst [20:55] people in the world were released into our country because we had a stupid president who probably didn't [21:01] know and we had a border czar who never went to the border and never once called our great border [21:06] patrol agents right not once kamala she never called the border patrol she never said how are we doing [21:12] i used to call the border patrol guys every day you can ask them paul ask any one of them brandon [21:17] ask them all the time how are we doing how are we doing and we now i'm proud to say have a totally [21:23] sealed border nine months nobody is coming through our border and nobody even tries because they know [21:27] they're not going to get through so we don't have caravans anymore all right so maybe one or two more [21:33] it will be done mr president are you allowed to are you willing to end this conflict with iran charging [21:41] tolls for passage through the street uh us charging tolls iran what about us charging tolls is that [21:49] something you're considering i'd rather do that than let them have them run why shouldn't we we're the [21:53] winner we won okay they are militarily defeated the only thing they have is the psychology of oh we're [22:01] going to drop a couple of mines in the water all right no we i mean we have a concept where we'll [22:06] charge tolls okay i thought you meant your question your question would your question would have been [22:14] more accurate if you said us just to clarify in order for iran to successfully meet your deadline [22:21] tomorrow do they have to make a deal open the street or both we have to have a deal that's acceptable to [22:28] me and part of that deal is going to be we want free traffic of oil and everything [22:38] thank you very much you've said glory be to god in this conflict do you believe that god supports [22:44] the united states actions i do because god is good because god is good and god wants to see people [22:51] taken care of god doesn't like what's happening i don't like what's happening everyone says i enjoy [22:56] i don't enjoy this i don't enjoy it these two guys don't enjoy it you know people say oh boy [23:01] they're so tough they don't want they don't like i don't like seeing people killed i've ended eight [23:06] wars nobody's ever done it the person who won the nobel prize came to me and said you deserve the nobel [23:13] prize she announced that when they announced they said goes to maria she's a great person really a good [23:20] person she said no no no this is ridiculous they gave me the nobel prize president trump ended eight [23:28] wars i could go over every one of them including india and pakistan where the prime minister of [23:33] pakistan said president trump saved from 30 to 50 million lives that makes me much happier than what [23:41] we're doing right now that makes me much happier we have one more to end by the way you called the [23:52] yesterday in your truth social you called the iranians crazy bastards true um what is your response to [23:59] critics who say i don't care about critics what is your response to critics who say that it is your [24:03] mental health that should perhaps be examined as this war continues i haven't heard that but if that's [24:08] the case you're going to have to have more people like me because our country was being ripped off on [24:13] trade or on everything for many years until i came along so if that's the case you're going to have to [24:19] have more people dashi go ahead dashi go you said that very little is off limits in iran as far as [24:26] targeting including power plants bridges you've mentioned those very little is often are there [24:30] certain kinds of civilian targets though i'm thinking i don't want to tell you that i don't [24:34] want to tell you that we have we have a plan because of the power of our military where every bridge [24:43] in iran will be decimated by 12 o'clock tomorrow night where every power plant in iran will be out of [24:53] business burning exploding and never to be used again i mean complete demolition by 12 o'clock and [25:01] it'll happen over a period of four hours if we wanted to we don't want that to happen we may even [25:07] get involved with helping them rebuild their nation and you know what if that's the case the last thing [25:13] we want to do is start with power plants which are among the most expensive thing and bridges [25:17] you saw the bridge the bridge one we were very close to a deal and then i got a call from mr witkoff [25:26] mr kushner and jd saying i think they're breaking the deal i said tell them that's okay don't worry [25:35] about it but tell them to look out their window and watch and within 45 minutes i gave the order to [25:41] knock out the biggest bridge i gave the order knock out the biggest bridge in i believe the middle east but [25:48] the biggest bridge in iran and within 10 minutes after i gave that order that bridge was was over [25:56] so so do i want to do that no do i want to destroy their infrastructure no it will take them a hundred [26:04] years to rebuild right now if we left today it would take them 20 years to rebuild their country and it [26:12] would never be as good as it was and the only way they're going to be able to rebuild their country [26:16] is to utilize the genius of the united states of america [26:22] voice your displeasure with nato in the past is there a danger to the u.s not being the de facto of [26:29] the leader of the alliance and then other powers within the alliance then getting the decision making [26:35] when it comes to wars and nuclear weapons no it's not a danger nato's look we went to nato [26:41] i didn't ask very strongly i just said hey if you want to help great no no no we will not help i said [26:47] that's all right you don't want to help because i've always said nato's a paper tiger see nato's [26:53] a paper tiger putin's not afraid of nato putin's afraid of us very afraid of us and he's explained [26:59] it to me a lot of times i got to know him very well i know him very well uh nato's a paper tiger [27:05] nato is us and when we needed them but we didn't need them by the way we didn't need them obviously [27:12] because they haven't helped at all just the opposite they've actually gone out of their way not to help [27:17] they didn't even want to give us landing strips he's great and pete all i can say is that uh he [27:23] was treated very unfairly and now those same people that treated him unfairly that fought against him [27:29] they called me up saying what a great choice he was i said well what happened uh during this nomination [27:35] what happened to you i'm telling you people that were not forum senators friends of mine sir i don't [27:41] think you're doing the right thing now they call me up what a choice these two guys are fantastic [27:48] and john ratcliffe was incredible it was actually their genius that called us from he was 40 miles [27:56] away and he said you know we're seeing something moving up in the mountain this is at night and they [28:03] kept the camera on him for 45 minutes it wasn't moving and they said you know probably wrong but [28:09] we're seeing something moving this is a mass vast mountain vast thick with bushes trees he said we see [28:18] something moving 40 miles away it was a head of a human being i'm telling you it's moving and then [28:27] all of a sudden 45 minutes later he moved a lot stood up and they stood way half of him and that was [28:34] really the beginning of something incredible we had an idea where he was but not specifically that's a big [28:41] mountain so uh i want to thank the cia too i don't think they get enough credit for the great job they've [28:49] done yes please thank you very much mr president for this great opportunity country it has super army [28:59] you make a difference mr president thank you for your greatest leadership thank you i have two quick [29:05] questions mr president what was your reaction when you learned that kurdistan region had resumed exporting [29:14] oil to the international market with your support as united states of america well i expected that we've [29:22] gotten along with the kurds for a long time so i expected that another question what we what would be [29:30] your reaction if the iranian people rise up against their regime during a case fire mr president well they [29:39] should do it but again the consequences are great i mean they were told you if you protest you will be [29:45] shot immediately you saw what happened to the young wrestler he was a great champion by the way he was a [29:51] great wrestler one of the top in the world and he and his two friends were hung and all they did was [29:58] say a little bit about liberty they wanted liberty and they were violently executed but the number is up to [30:06] probably 45 000 people were killed so you know when somebody stays in a house when they know if [30:11] they walk out of the house to protest they'll be immediately shot and killed and they issued that [30:17] you know that was publicly issued it's not a secret that's why so many people say oh well why are you [30:22] doing this way we can't let iran have a nuclear weapon you know we got regime change we do we're dealing [30:30] with a much different regime than before we're dealing with different people they're smarter i think they're [30:36] sharper uh and far less radical we have regime change but uh we didn't do this for regime change [30:44] we did it for the fact and my my view was very simple i saw somebody said oh he doesn't have a [30:50] plan i have the best plan of all but i'm not going to tell you what my plan is you know they want me to [30:54] say here's my plan we're going to attack at 9 47 in the morning and then we're going to do this and [31:00] then we're going to and if you don't do that they say i have a plan these people know what the plan is [31:05] everybody here knows what the plan is but uh it's very unfair to say we're because i don't mind being [31:12] insulted i've been insulted for many years by the by the fake news but you can't it's so bad for the [31:18] the people that are so per you just saw two great and john ratliff three unbelievable people they have [31:25] a plan every every single thing has been thought out by all of us but i can't reveal the plan to the [31:32] media so you know but we're just thrilled by the success of this operation yes please thank you mr [31:38] president uh you've said iranians would be mad if you stopped these attacks but why would they want [31:43] you to blow up their infrastructure to cut off their power wouldn't that be punishing iranians for the [31:48] actions of the regime they would be willing just they would be and it's suffering they would be willing [31:54] to suffer that in order to have freedom uh the iranians have and we've had numerous intercepts [32:01] please keep bombing bombs that are dropping near their homes please keep bombing do it and these [32:09] are people that are living where the bombs are exploding and when we leave and we're not hitting [32:14] those areas they're saying please come back come back come back these are the people i don't know [32:20] what they do all i can tell you is they want freedom they have lived in a world that you know nothing [32:27] about it's a violent horrible world where if you protest you are shot remember the great woman [32:35] protest where they had 400 000 500 000 women and they were all enthused and they were gonna protest and [32:41] everybody said oh the regime is going to come to an end and then all of a sudden boom boom five six [32:51] different areas a woman would go down right between the eyes they had snipers they had five snipers that's [32:56] all it took and those four or five hundred thousand women said oh my god what's that oh look over there [33:04] what's that a woman shot right between the eyes and after five or six of them go down then you start [33:13] hearing the purr through the vast number of people and then they said oh my god who would do that and [33:23] they're incredible people but they've lived so horribly they've lived so horribly you know iran [33:28] was a great country if you go back 25 years ago or so uh the persian people the they're incredible [33:35] smart brilliant actually and i know so many i know coming from new york originally i i know so many [33:42] people from iran they're incredible people incredible energy and and uh very very brilliant people and [33:49] but when you're standing in a group and protesting and you have a woman in the case of the woman remember [33:54] the great woman march everybody was like oh this is the end of the country and then snipers selectively [34:01] picked every single one was shot right between the eyes from a long distance they were on top of [34:06] buildings nobody even knew where they were where they're coming from this wasn't like a machine gun [34:11] which is also very bad they've done that too they did that recently this was snipers sitting on the top [34:19] of buildings aiming and hitting women and when they see people go down and all of a sudden there's a [34:25] riot in the reverse direction and they never came out again and a lot of the the news doesn't talk about [34:32] they talk about oh women's rights you want to see women's rights you're not going to see it there [34:38] it's amazing when i see some of the stupid people like you know aoc plus three all that group they talk [34:43] about oh freedom for iran they don't tell you the real facts women men gays how about gays for iran [34:55] they kill the gays they throw them off buildings so i wonder what what's going on i can only say this [35:03] they want us to keep bombing even if it jeopardized because their life is in much greater danger [35:09] they want freedom for iran but it's very hard for them to protest i actually tell them i said don't go [35:13] out i fully understand nobody in this room would go out i don't think there's any because frankly [35:18] it's not a question of bravery we're all brave right you're brave i'm brave we're all brave [35:23] but we're also intelligent if you have people shooting at you expert shots with the best [35:31] rifles you can get and hitting you right between the eyes every single time and you're looking here [35:36] and you're seeing and you're looking here you're out of there i don't care who [35:40] are you going forward mark meredith fox news uh i know that oh thank you go ahead america's [35:47] watching uh no um can we go back to the weekend first off was everyone on board with the operation [35:53] or were there people that were trying to talk you out of going through with the operation this weekend [35:57] not everybody was on board somebody else within no there was military people very professional that [36:03] preferred not doing it these two were totally on board which was very important they were [36:09] would have had a little difficulty but uh no there were military people that said you just don't [36:14] do this you don't go into the heart of a very powerful military you know this is hey you have [36:21] countries and countries you have some countries where military is not that wrong so this whole thing is [36:27] militarized like nobody's ever seen before half the people are wearing uniforms [36:31] uh and we had we had people within the military usually it's not done that's one of the reasons you know [36:38] i was surprised somebody said it's the only time it's ever been done i said that's not possible [36:43] but it is possible because you're going into hundreds of thousands of soldiers along the path [36:50] i mean look at some of the helicopters how they got hit so yeah there were people within the military [36:56] that said it's a wise and don't forget how many men did you send all together approximately for the [37:02] operation i'd love to keep that a secret okay well but i will tell you the number i'll keep it a secret [37:10] but it was hundreds and hundreds of these people that's pretty good is he central is he central casting [37:18] but hundreds of people went into this journey hundreds of people could have been killed forget [37:24] about the equipment a lot of equipment nobody cares hundreds of people could have been killed so we had [37:30] people that were within the military that said this is not a wise and i understood that but i decided [37:36] to do it was there a point that they were going to that you were thinking there's too much on the line [37:41] and somebody was saying maybe we abort this now and wait i mean given the resource like the general [37:46] said it seemed like there was so much on the line here you must have been thinking this could have [37:50] completely changed so the first one which was in many ways as dangerous as the second i guess it gets [37:58] because we're flying over daylight you know we're the best at the world at night we have goggles [38:03] that nobody we have goggles i've tried to make it unbelievable i see better with the goggles at [38:08] night with it than i see without them during daylight i mean daylight today we have a beautiful day [38:14] you see just as well with goggles in many ways it's enhanced so we have the best in the world [38:20] so it's much safer for us to for us to do it at night whereas other people no other country has that [38:26] capability they don't have the they don't have that particular piece of equipment like we do [38:31] but when i was told flying and in daylight i think we flew seven hours over iran and that's a long time [38:39] over unbelievably hostile territory where they have nothing but weapons we took out their anti-aircraft [38:47] which is great we took out their radar which is great we took out a lot but they still have [38:52] you know what hit this one was a shoulder handheld shoulder missile heat-seeking missile so it's not like [38:58] you know they're totally whatever but but and they have probably a little luck because you got [39:05] to get lucky but they shot it and it got sucked in right by the engine but these guys were out of [39:10] there they were great their timing was great but no i was told that this is a very uh dangerous mission [39:17] i understand they didn't say it's a foolish mission they said you know we're going to be sacrificing [39:22] hundreds of people do this this is i mean you have tankers that are flying over this area so that [39:27] they because the flight was so long they had to refuel it's a very dangerous mission uh [39:33] i just felt it was worth it if you would have told me that we would have been successful gotten both [39:38] and nobody was even essentially injured i would have said that would be impossible yeah mr president [39:44] thank you very much thank you sir well i'll come back to you okay uh given that you are now dealing you [39:50] say with a more reasonable um less uh extreme leadership in iran what does that mean for the [39:57] protesters for the human rights movement in that country after this conflict what's your [40:01] expectation yeah if they assume control if we do something and they assume control i think it's very [40:06] positive a big step uh i don't think you'd see the radicalization that you have seen in the last look [40:13] what happened i mean women are being executed because they're not properly clothed they say they're not [40:20] properly clothed and they execute the women they absolutely they shoot them right on the street [40:26] no you have a much different group of people now i'm not saying we are dealing with them [40:33] essentially they have till eight o'clock tomorrow night eastern time but we are dealing with them i [40:38] think it's going well mr whitkoff is here and jd's involved in the dealing mr whitkoff is sitting right [40:46] here and i think it's going fine but we'll have to see you have to understand we've been dealing with [40:50] with these people for 47 years i'm standing here with a much more powerful iran as of a month ago not [41:00] anymore right now they are decapitated but i'm standing here a month ago with a much more powerful [41:07] iran than it was at any point during 47 years this should have been handled by seven presidents a lot [41:14] of presidents and those presidents are saying now every one of them to their friends we should have done [41:20] this a long time ago so it's not something i like doing it's very dangerous and we're getting them [41:26] at the height of of their strength if i didn't terminate the barack hussein obama iran nuclear deal [41:34] they would have had a don't forget that was a path to a nuclear weapon remember this [41:39] he chose iran over israel pure and simple how and how israel can vote for a democrat is if you're jewish [41:48] in new york city or any place else in this country and how you can vote for a democrat is in believe [41:56] because he chose iran a very hostile iran remember when he filled up a 757 with cash billions of dollars [42:04] of cash and he sent it over to them then they gave them tens of billions of dollars he chose iran over [42:12] israel and really the arab world if you look because you know the other saudi arabia qatar uae [42:20] i mean you take a look i mean i can add kuwait and i can add bahrain and you can add others [42:26] he chose such an unlikely candidate nobody could believe it frankly if you're going to choose between [42:32] iraq and iran he should have chosen he should have befriended iraq he went in the exact opposite [42:41] direction of of all thinking and he made a terrible mistake but that was a road to a nuclear weapon [42:48] and when i terminated that everyone said oh he terminated it it was one of the best things we [42:53] ever did because he had a road to a nuclear weapon and it was gonna it was a very short-term [42:58] deal you know countries don't do 10-year deals countries do hundreds of years you don't do a 10-year [43:04] deal for a country you need this isn't you're a landlord you're renting a store on on a certain [43:09] street and you give somebody a five-year or 10-year lease this is a country it was a short-term deal [43:15] it was ready to expire i terminated it before it expired took a lot of heat and it was one of the [43:21] best things they ever did because he would have had a nuclear weapon then he would have had another [43:24] nuclear weapon had those beautiful b2 bombers not gone in eight months ago and obliterated that's [43:31] that and by the way the word is obliteration cnn said well maybe it wasn't complete it was so [43:37] complete that they still haven't been able to get it it was obliteration but if we didn't hit them [43:43] that was a courageous decision too because we had all those planes flying in at night [43:48] with very little cover unbelievable stealth planes and they were able to do their job [43:54] if we didn't do that iran would have had a nuclear weapon at a high level either one of those two [44:01] instances and if they did in my opinion i told this to bb netanyahu yesterday israel would have been [44:09] extinguished large portions of the middle east would have been extinguished whether it's saudi arabia [44:17] qatar uae or others and you saw that with thousands of missiles raining down upon them they didn't think [44:23] they were going to be hit they thought they'd be watching us fight and all of a sudden uae got hit by [44:28] 1500 missiles he would have taken them out also and they were powerful if i didn't come along [44:37] and terminate the obama deal which was terrible the iran nuclear deal was a [44:42] a road to a nuclear weapon a big one unlimited legally i terminated it without even much thought [44:49] it was so easy i terminated that and then the b2 bombers and i did one other thing i had killed [44:58] qasam solemini who was an evil genius and the reason i did it i heard he was going to knock out [45:06] five of our military bases and had he lived i believe we would be fighting perhaps a different [45:17] iran right now because because he's never he's never been replaced you know and i also i did one [45:23] other but that this one was not picked up osama bin laden if you read my book i said you got to take [45:30] him out one year before the world trade center came down so i wish you'd read the book but you as [45:38] a president to be a good president i believe you have to have good instincts and a lot of this is [45:44] instinct yeah please thank you so much mr president last week last week you suggested that europe should [45:52] take the lead on reopening the strait of harmuz uh has circumstances changed now that you're issuing a [45:57] direct 48-hour i mean 48-hour ultimatum and secondly would a new new ceasefire include israel or would [46:05] it just be between i can't talk about ceasefire but i can tell you that we have a active willing [46:13] participant on the other side they would like to be able to make a deal i can't say any more than that [46:17] if i get it right for you mr president thank you so much you've listed the goals excuse me please go [46:23] ahead you've listed the goals of who you with who you with my name is dr kurda i'm with the largest [46:28] kurdish media outlet through the media network it's based in iran go ahead mr president you said before [46:34] that you don't want the kurdish forces to enter iran and be harmed do you still want them to stay away [46:40] or what role do you expect them to play now i'd rather have them stay away i'd rather have them stay away [46:47] because i think they bring with them some problems and some difficulties and i don't think they bring [46:52] death i mean you know to themselves but i'd rather have them stay right thank you mr president for [47:01] the question um deliberate attacks on civilian infrastructure violate the geneva conventions [47:07] and international law who are you with i'm with the new york times zolan from the new york times are you [47:12] feeling the feeling are you concerned circulation way down at the new york times are you concerned that [47:17] your threat to bomb power plants and bridges amount no no no no i hope i don't have to do it [47:24] but again i just said 47 years they've been negotiating with these people they're great negotiators [47:30] and because they're not going to have a nuclear weapon and if somebody that takes my place someday [47:37] is weak and ineffective which possibly that will happen because we had numerous presidents that were [47:42] weak ineffective and afraid afraid of iran we're never going to let iran have a nuclear weapon and [47:50] if you think it's okay for people that are sick of mind that are tough smart and sick really sick ideal [47:59] uh you know from from a policy standpoint from a stamp any which way you want to say mentally these are [48:08] disturbed people if you think i'm going to allow them and powerful and rich to have a nuclear weapon [48:15] you can tell your friends at the new york times not going to happen it means violating international [48:23] law you no longer have credibility the new york times because the new york times said oh trump won't [48:29] win the election and i won in a landslide i won every swing state new york times said oh trump won't win [48:34] the election new york times has no credibility the credibility they have is it used to be [48:40] all the news that's fit to print a great the old gray lady it was great but they're they're running on [48:45] past fumes and you can't keep doing that you have to be able to give the correct news [48:50] and people like you who i know are fake you're fake go ahead please your messaging on the war has [48:58] moved from the war is coming to an end to we're going to be bombing iran to the stone ages and we've [49:03] heard a range of those kind of messages so are you so which is it are you winding this down are you [49:09] i can't tell you i don't know i can't tell it depends what they do this is a critical period [49:15] they have a period of well till tomorrow at eight o'clock i gave them an extension they asked for an [49:22] extension of seven days right i said steve give them 10 days 10 days is up actually today so i gave [49:32] them 11 i guess indirectly i thought it was inappropriate the day after easter i want to [49:36] be a nice person uh they have till tomorrow now we'll see what happens i can tell you they're [49:44] negotiating we think in good faith we're going to find out we're getting the help of some incredible [49:50] countries that want this to be ended because it affects them also a lot of people are affected by this [49:57] but we're giving them uh we're giving them till tomorrow eight o'clock eastern time and after that [50:04] they're going to have no bridges they're going to have no power plants stone ages yeah [50:16] cnn fake are you willing to make a deal that does not include reopening the strait of hormuz or is that [50:23] now a top priority i would say it's a very big priority because um see that's that's one thing that's a [50:30] little different than other than we can bomb the hell out of them we can knock them out for a loop [50:35] but to close the strait all you need is one terrorist that somehow has a truck loaded with [50:42] because you can carry them in trucks large trucks a water mine drop them in the water and now you tell [50:50] people that own chips that cost a billion dollars to don't worry about the mine you can do that even [50:55] just by saying we put mines in the water so it's not like the rest we can knock out their military we [51:01] already have we've knocked out their navy we've knocked out their air force completely knocked [51:05] out 158 ships in three days we've knocked out even their mind droppers they don't have any mind [51:11] droppers anymore but they put them on other boats and they could drop them i'm not even sure they [51:16] have any mines there by the way i'm not sure i'm personally they say there might be eight i don't know [51:21] i don't know i think there might be none uh because they're very good bullshit artists that's why for 47 [51:27] years they've been bullshitting other presidents and they haven't done the job and people are living [51:33] in hell you live in that country they're living in hell no i think that uh 47 years of this stuff is [51:42] long enough they're at the weakest point they've ever been they have no navy they have no air force [51:48] they have no anti-aircraft weaponry they have no radar they have no communication in fact the biggest [51:55] problem we have in our negotiation is that they can't communicate i said to steve what are they [52:00] saying sir they can't communicate they have no method of communication so we're doing we're [52:06] communicating like they used to communicate 2 000 years ago with children bringing a note [52:11] back and forth they have no communication but all i want to see is i want to have a safe world and [52:18] you're not going to have a safe world israel will be gone the middle east will be gone and then [52:24] they're coming for europe and i have to tell you i'm very disappointed in nato very i think that [52:30] nato i think it's a mark on nato that will never disappear never disappear in my mind you know they're [52:36] coming to see me on wednesday they're going to say oh we'll do this we'll do that now they all of a [52:40] sudden want to send things you know but they said it loud and clear at the beginning when i spoke to uk [52:46] of all i would have said they would have been there first because they've been they're the oldest and i [52:51] say yeah i'd love to have a little help he said no sir we'd rather wait till you win i said i don't [52:57] need help after we win they have two old broken aircraft carriers barely work i said i guess we [53:03] can use them who the hell knows i called the general he didn't even want he said we don't really need [53:07] them we got we got the ss abraham lincoln sir we don't need them do you know we have in terms of [53:13] technology we had one day 101 missiles going at 2 700 miles an hour aimed at the abraham lincoln 101 [53:24] missiles out of 101 missiles 101 missiles were shot down unbelievable technology 10 years ago five years [53:35] ago i don't know if that would have been possible but 10 years ago that wouldn't have been that wouldn't [53:40] have been possible uh 101 missiles heading to a ship that's not that far off the coast and out of the [53:50] 101 missiles we shut down all 101 we have weaponry uh the patriots are unbelievable we have weaponry [53:58] that's unbelievable yeah go ahead please thank you mr president um you said earlier today during [54:08] the egg roll that you would like to take iran's oil but americans want u.s forces home correct what's [54:15] that trade if i had my choice if i had my choice yeah because i'm a businessman first with venezuela [54:23] as you know the war was over in about 45 minutes and we have great people running venezuela very good [54:30] people i mean the relationship is good and we are a partner with venezuela and we've taken hundreds of [54:38] millions of barrels hundreds of millions over 100 million barrels already is in houston refined and out [54:47] and paid paid for that war many many times over many times you know the old days to the victim okay [54:55] you know that to the uh to the winner belong the spoils go the spoils and i've said why don't we use [55:03] it to the victor go the spoils and we don't have that we haven't had that in this country probably in [55:09] a hundred years because even the second world war you look at the second world war we didn't have it with [55:14] the second world we helped rebuild all those countries we rebuilt germany how about germany [55:18] telling us germany telling us that uh well it's not their war we had nothing to do with get they [55:25] wanted me to go and tell them everything i was doing we didn't know anything about it well if i [55:30] would have told them they would have leaked it and we wouldn't have been nearly as successful possibly [55:35] right but to the victor belong the spoils so we haven't heard we haven't heard that in i think maybe [55:43] hundreds of years now with venezuela and we just so you understand the people of venezuela they say [55:49] if i ran for president of venezuela i'm polling higher than anybody has ever polled in venezuela so [55:56] after i'm finished with this i can go to venezuela i will quickly learn spanish it won't take too long [56:01] i'm good at language and i will go to venezuela i'm going to run for president but we're very happy with [56:07] the president-elect that we have right now the the the people that are running it if you remember bush [56:14] with iraq they fired the generals they fired the police they fired the people that worked in their [56:20] equivalent of the white house they fired everybody and you know they had they had a mess and you know [56:25] what happened isis formed those generals and those soldiers got together the police got together they all [56:31] got together they formed isis not going to happen with us so venezuela has been an incredible it's [56:38] been an incredible situation we went in we were very successful military power like nobody's ever seen [56:45] the general uh venezuelan general said i was on that site i said i've never seen ferocity like that [56:52] i've been doing this for 40 years he said i've never seen it they they hit us from 17 different it was [56:58] they were all set they saw that big beautiful aircraft carrier the ford in that case and planes [57:05] were pouring off it at one o'clock in the morning so typically when you see that late at night you know [57:12] you could be in trouble right and we were already they had their equipment it was russian and they [57:19] had chinese equipment it was all set they were going to give us a fight he said and then they came [57:25] and they came at speeds like we've never seen and they came at 17 different angles the general and [57:32] his people that was a lot of angles they hit him from every angle he said we knew it was over in three [57:39] minutes we were waiting for them their equipment didn't work and there's a reason it didn't work [57:45] someday we'll explain that to people they pressed the button nothing happened they pressed it again and [57:51] again nothing happened and he said we knew this whole thing was over in three minutes we've never [57:56] seen any he used the word ferocity the ferocity of these planes from 17 different angles and was [58:03] over they went inside and remember that was on a military base with thousands of soldiers and those [58:09] soldiers looked and they said get the hell out of here thousands we didn't have thousands we had like [58:15] 200 people so we have a great military and i'll tell you what somehow this rescue captured the world's [58:24] attention more so than normally you're talking about two people but this rescue captured the world's [58:32] attention but we did it in venezuela that was amazing and now we have a very bad man in prison and [58:38] going to trial i mean he he released aside from the drugs which he was terrible maduro released [58:46] hundreds of thousands of people from jails into our country drug dealers murderers the worst people in [58:54] the world were released into our country because we had a stupid precedent who probably didn't know [59:00] and we had a border czar who never went to the border and never once called our great border patrol [59:05] agents right not once kamala she never called the border patrol she never said how we doing i used to [59:11] call the border patrol guys every day you can ask them paul ask any one of them brandon ask him all the [59:17] time how are we doing how are we doing and we now i'm proud to say have a totally sealed border nine [59:22] months nobody is coming through our border and nobody even tries because they know they're not [59:26] going to get through so we don't have caravans anymore all right so maybe one or two more and we'll be [59:32] done mr president are you allowed to or are you willing to end this conflict with iran charging tolls [59:40] for passage through the street uh us charging tolls iran what about us charging is that something you're [59:48] considering i'd rather do that than let them have them run why shouldn't we we're the winner we won okay [59:54] they are militarily defeated the only thing they have is the psychology of oh we're going to drop a [1:00:00] couple of mines in the water all right no we i mean we have a concept where we'll charge tolls okay [1:00:06] i thought you meant your question your question would your question would have been more accurate [1:00:15] just to clarify in order for iran to successfully meet your deadline tomorrow do they have to make a [1:00:21] deal open the street or both we have to have a deal that's acceptable to me and part of that deal is [1:00:28] going to be we want free traffic of oil and everything mr president thank you very much you've said glory [1:00:39] be to god in this conflict do you believe that god supports the united states actions and i do because [1:00:44] god is good because god is good and god wants to see people taken care of god doesn't like what's [1:00:52] happening i don't like what's happening everyone says i enjoy i don't enjoy this i don't enjoy it [1:00:56] these two guys don't enjoy it you know people say oh boy they're so tough they don't want they don't [1:01:01] like i don't like seeing people killed i've ended eight wars nobody's ever done it the person who won [1:01:08] the nobel prize came to me and said you deserve the nobel prize she announced that when they announced [1:01:14] they said goes to maria she's a great person really a good person she said no no no this is ridiculous [1:01:23] they gave me the nobel prize president trump ended eight wars i could go over every one of them [1:01:28] including india and pakistan where the prime minister of pakistan said president trump saved from 30 to 50 [1:01:35] million lives that makes me much happier than what we're doing right now that makes me much happier [1:01:42] we have one more to end by the way you called the yesterday in your truth social you called the [1:01:53] iranians crazy bastards true um what is your response to critics who say that i don't care [1:01:59] about what is your response to critics who say that is your mental health that should perhaps [1:02:03] be examined as this war continues i haven't heard that but if that's the case you're going to have [1:02:07] to have more people like me because our country was being ripped off on trade or and everything [1:02:14] for many years until i came along so if that's the case you're going to have to have more people [1:02:18] more people dashi go to dashi go you said that very little is off limits in iran as far as the [1:02:24] targeting including power plants bridges you've mentioned those very little is offline are there [1:02:29] certain kinds of civilian targets though i'm thinking i don't want to tell you that i don't [1:02:33] want to tell you that we have we have a plan because of the power of our military where every bridge [1:02:42] in iran will be decimated by 12 o'clock tomorrow night where every power plant in iran will be [1:02:51] out of business burning exploding and never to be used again i mean complete demolition by 12 o'clock [1:02:59] and it'll happen over a period of four hours if we wanted to we don't want that to happen we may [1:03:05] even get involved with helping them rebuild their nation and you know what if that's the case the last [1:03:11] thing we want to do is start with power plants which are among the most expensive thing and bridges [1:03:16] you saw the bridge the bridge went we were very close to a deal and then i got a call from mr whitkov [1:03:25] mr kushner and jd saying i think they're breaking the deal i said tell them that's okay don't worry [1:03:33] about it but tell them to look out their window and watch and within 45 minutes i gave the order to knock [1:03:40] out the biggest bridge i gave the order knock out the biggest bridge in i believe the middle east but [1:03:47] the biggest bridge in iran and within 10 minutes after i gave that order that bridge was was over [1:03:55] so so do i want to do that no do i want to destroy their infrastructure no it will take them a hundred [1:04:02] years to rebuild right now if we left today it would take them 20 years to rebuild their country and it [1:04:10] would never be as good as it was and the only way they're going to be able to rebuild their country [1:04:15] is to utilize the genius of the united states of america [1:04:18] mr president voice your displeasure with nato in the past is there a danger to the u.s not being the [1:04:27] de facto of the leader of the alliance and then other powers within the alliance then getting the [1:04:33] decision making when it comes to wars and nuclear weapons no it's not a danger nato's look we went to nato [1:04:40] i didn't ask very strongly i just said hey if you want to help great no no no we will not help [1:04:45] i said that's all right you don't want to help because i've always said nato is a paper tiger [1:04:50] see nato is a paper tiger putin's not afraid of nato putin's afraid of us very afraid of us [1:04:57] and he's explained it to me a lot of times i got to know him very well i know very well [1:05:01] uh nato's a paper tiger nato is us and when we needed them but we didn't need them by the way [1:05:09] we didn't need them obviously because they haven't helped at all just the opposite they've actually [1:05:14] gone out of their way not to help they didn't even want to give us landing strips he's great and pete [1:05:20] all i can say is that uh he was treated very unfairly and now those same people that treated him [1:05:26] unfairly that fought against him they called me up saying what a great choice he was [1:05:31] they said well what happened uh during this nomination what happened to you [1:05:35] i'm telling you people that were not forum senators friends of mine sir i don't think you're doing the [1:05:41] right thing now they're calling me up what a choice these two guys are fantastic and john ratcliffe was [1:05:47] incredible it was actually their genius that called us from he was 40 miles away and he said you know [1:05:56] we're seeing something moving up in the mountain this is at night and they kept the camera on him [1:06:03] for 45 minutes he wasn't moving and they said you know probably wrong but we're seeing something moving [1:06:09] this is a mass vast mountain vast thick with bushes trees he said we see something moving 40 miles away [1:06:19] it was a the head of a human being i'm telling you it's moving and then all of a sudden 45 minutes [1:06:27] later he moved a lot stood up and they said we have him and that was really the beginning of [1:06:35] something incredible we had an idea where he was but not specifically that's a big mountain so uh [1:06:42] i want to thank the cia too i don't think they get enough credit for the great job they've done [1:06:48] yes please yes thank you very much mr president for this great opportunity [1:06:55] country it has super army you make a difference mr president thank you for your greatest leadership [1:07:02] thank you i have two quick questions mr president what was your reaction when you learned that kurdistan [1:07:10] region had resumed exporting oil to the international market with your support as united states of america [1:07:19] well i expected that we've gotten along with the kurds for a long time so i expected that [1:07:25] another question what would what would be your reaction if the iranian people rise up against [1:07:34] their regime during a case fire mr president well they should do it but again the consequences are [1:07:40] great i mean they were told you if you protest you will be shot immediately you saw what happened to [1:07:46] the young wrestler he was a great champion by the way he was a great wrestler one of the top in the [1:07:51] world and he and his two friends were hung and all they did was say a little bit about liberty they [1:07:59] wanted liberty and they were violently executed but the number is up to probably 45 000 people were killed so [1:08:07] you know when somebody stays in a house when they know if they walk out of the house to protest they'll [1:08:11] be immediately shot and killed and they issued that you know that was publicly issued it's not a secret [1:08:18] that's why so many people say oh well why are you doing this way we can't let iran have a nuclear weapon [1:08:25] you know we got regime change we do we deal with a much different regime than before we're dealing with [1:08:31] different people they're smarter i think they're sharper uh and far less radical we have regime change but [1:08:41] uh we didn't do this for regime change we did it for the fact and my my view was very simple i saw [1:08:47] somebody said oh he doesn't have a plan i have the best plan of all but i'm not going to tell you what [1:08:51] my plan is you know they want me to say here's my plan we're going to attack at 9 47 in the morning and [1:08:57] then we're going to do this and then we're going to and if you don't do that they say i have a plan [1:09:02] these people know what the plan is everybody here knows what the plan is but uh it's very unfair to say [1:09:09] we're because i don't mind being insulted i've been insulted for many years by the [1:09:13] by the fake news but you can't it's so bad for the for people that are so per you just saw two [1:09:20] great and john ratliff three unbelievable people they have a plan every every single thing has been [1:09:26] thought out by all of us but i can't reveal the plan to the media so you know but we're just thrilled [1:09:33] by the success of this operation yes please thank you mr president uh you've said iranians would be mad [1:09:39] if you stopped these attacks but why would they want you to blow up their infrastructure to cut [1:09:44] off their power wouldn't that be punishing iranians for the actions of the regime they would be willing [1:09:49] just they would be and it's suffering they would be willing to suffer that in order to have freedom [1:09:55] the iranians have and we've had numerous intercepts please keep bombing bombs that are dropping near their [1:10:03] homes please keep bombing do it and these are people that are living where the bombs are exploding [1:10:10] and when we leave and we're not hitting those areas they're saying please come back come back come back [1:10:16] these are the people i don't know what they do all i can tell you is they want freedom they have lived [1:10:24] in a world that you know nothing about it's a violent horrible world where if you protest you are shot [1:10:32] remember the great woman protest where they had 400 000 500 000 women and they were all enthused and [1:10:38] they were gonna protest and everybody said oh the regime is going to come to an end and then [1:10:43] all of a sudden boom boom five six different areas a woman would go down right between the eyes [1:10:53] they had snipers they had five snipers that's all it took and those four or five hundred thousand women [1:10:59] said oh my god what's that oh look over there what's that a woman shot right between the eyes [1:11:07] and after five or six of them go down then you start hearing the purr through the vast number of people [1:11:17] and then they said oh my god who would do that and they're incredible people but they've lived so [1:11:24] horribly they've lived so horribly you know iran was a great country if you go back 25 years ago or so [1:11:30] uh the persian people that they're incredible smart brilliant actually and i know so many i know coming [1:11:38] from new york originally i i know so many people from around they're incredible people incredible energy [1:11:44] and and uh very very brilliant people and but when you're standing in a group and protesting and you [1:11:50] have a woman in the case of the woman remember the great woman march everybody was like oh this is the [1:11:55] end of the country and then snipers selectively picked every single one was shot right between [1:12:02] the eyes from a long distance they were on top of buildings nobody even knew where they were where [1:12:08] they're coming from this wasn't like a machine gun which is also very bad they've done that too [1:12:12] they did that recently this was snipers sitting on the top of buildings aiming and hitting women [1:12:21] and when they see people go down and all of a sudden there's a riot in the reverse direction and they [1:12:26] never came out again and a lot of the the news doesn't talk about they talk about oh women's [1:12:33] rights you want to see women's rights you're not going to see it there it's amazing when i see some of [1:12:38] the stupid people like you know aoc plus three all that group they talk about oh freedom for iran [1:12:45] they don't tell you the real facts women men gays how about gays for iran they kill the gays they [1:12:55] throw them off buildings so i wonder what what's going on i can only say this they want us to keep [1:13:02] bombing even if it jeopardized because their life is in much greater danger they want freedom for iran [1:13:09] but it's very hard for them to protest i actually tell them i said don't go out i fully understand [1:13:14] nobody in this room would go out i don't think there's anything because frankly it's not a question [1:13:18] of bravery we're all brave right you're brave i'm brave we're all brave but we're also intelligent [1:13:24] if you have people shooting at you expert shots with the best rifles you can get [1:13:31] and hitting you right between the eyes every single time and you're looking here and you're [1:13:35] seeing and you're looking here you're out of there i don't care who you're out of there i don't care [1:13:41] mark meredith fox news uh i know that oh thank you go ahead america's watching uh no um can we go back [1:13:48] to the weekend first off was everyone on board with the operation or were there people that were trying [1:13:53] to talk you out of going through with the operation this weekend not everybody was on [1:13:56] board somebody else within no there was military people very professional that preferred not doing [1:14:02] it these two were totally on board which was very important they weren't it would have a little [1:14:09] difficulty but uh no there were military people that said you just don't do this you don't go into [1:14:14] the heart of a very powerful military you know this is hey you have countries and countries you have some [1:14:20] countries where military is not that's wrong so this whole thing is militarized like nobody's ever [1:14:27] seen before half the people are wearing uniforms uh and we had we had people within the military [1:14:34] usually it's not done that's one of the reasons you know i was surprised somebody said it's the only [1:14:38] time it's ever been done i said that's not possible but it is possible because you're going into [1:14:44] hundreds of thousands of soldiers along the path [1:14:48] i mean look at some of the helicopters how they got hit so yeah there were people within the [1:14:54] military that said it's a wise and don't forget how many men did you send all together approximately [1:15:00] for the operation i'd love to keep that a secret okay well we are [1:15:05] but i will tell you the number i'll keep it a secret but it was hundreds and hundreds of these [1:15:12] people that's pretty good is he central is he central casting but hundreds of people [1:15:19] went into this journey hundreds of people could have been killed forget about the equipment a lot [1:15:23] of equipment nobody cares hundreds of people could have been killed so we had people that were [1:15:29] within the military that said this is not a wise and i understood that but i decided to do it [1:15:36] was there a point that they were going to that you were thinking there's too much on the line and [1:15:40] somebody was saying maybe we abort this now and wait i mean given the resources like the general [1:15:44] set it seemed like there was so much on the line here you must have been thinking well this could [1:15:48] have completely changed so the first one which was in many ways as dangerous as the second i guess it [1:15:56] gets because we're flying over daylight you know we're the best at the world at night we have goggles [1:16:02] that nobody we have goggles i've tried a minute unbelievable i see better with the goggles at night [1:16:07] with then i see without them during daylight i mean daylight today we have a beautiful day [1:16:13] you see just as well with goggles in many ways it's enhanced so we have the best in the world so [1:16:19] it's much safe for us to for us to do it at night whereas other people no other country has that [1:16:25] capability they don't have the they don't have that particular piece of equipment like we do [1:16:29] but when i was told flying and in daylight i think we flew seven hours over iran and that's a long time [1:16:38] over unbelievably hostile territory where they have nothing but weapons we took out their anti-aircraft [1:16:45] which is great we took out their radar which is great we took out a lot but they still have [1:16:50] you know what hit this one was a shoulder handheld shoulder missile heat-seeking missile so it's not like [1:16:56] you know they're totally whatever but but and they have probably a little luck because you got to get [1:17:04] lucky but they shot it and it got sucked in right by the engine but these guys were out of there they [1:17:09] were great their timing was great but no i was told that this is a very uh dangerous mission i understand [1:17:16] they didn't say it's a foolish mission they said you know we're going to be sacrificing hundreds of [1:17:21] people do this this is i mean you have tankers that are flying over this area so that they because [1:17:26] the flight was so long they had to refuel it's a very dangerous mission uh i just felt it was worth [1:17:33] it if you would have told me that we would have been successful gotten both and nobody was even [1:17:38] essentially injured i would have said that would be impossible yeah thank you very much uh thank you [1:17:45] sir well i'll come back to you okay uh given that you are now dealing you say with a more reasonable [1:17:51] less uh extreme leadership in iran what does that mean for the protesters for the [1:17:56] human rights movement in that country after this conflict what's your expectation yeah if they [1:18:02] assume control if we do something and they assume control i think it's very positive a big step [1:18:07] i don't think you'd see the radicalization that you have seen in the last look what happened i mean [1:18:13] women are being executed because they're not properly clothed they say they're not properly clothed and [1:18:19] they execute the women they absolutely they shoot them right on the street uh no you have a much [1:18:25] different group of people now i'm not saying we are dealing with them uh essentially they have till [1:18:33] eight o'clock tomorrow night eastern time but we are dealing with them i think it's going well mr [1:18:38] whitkoff is here and jd is involved in the dealing mr whitkoff is sitting right here and i think it's [1:18:45] going fine but we'll have to see you have to understand we've been dealing with these people for 47 [1:18:51] years i'm standing here with a much more powerful iran as of a month ago not anymore right now they [1:19:00] are decapitated but i'm standing here a month ago with a much more powerful iran than it was at any [1:19:06] point during 47 years this should have been handled by seven presidents a lot of presidents and those [1:19:15] presidents are saying now every one of them to their friends we should have done this a long time ago [1:19:21] so it's not something i like doing it's very dangerous and we're getting them at the height of [1:19:26] of their strength if i didn't terminate the barack hussein obama iran nuclear deal they would have had [1:19:34] a don't forget that was a path to a nuclear weapon remember this he chose iran over israel pure and [1:19:41] simple how and how israel can vote for a democrat is if you're jewish in new york city or any place else [1:19:50] in this country and how you can vote for a democrat is unbelievable because he chose iran a very hostile [1:19:58] iran remember when he filled up a 757 with cash billions of dollars of cash and he sent it over [1:20:05] to them then they gave them tens of billions of dollars he chose iran over israel and really the [1:20:12] arab world if you look because you know the other saudi arabia qatar uae i mean you take a look i mean i [1:20:20] can add kuwait and i can add bahrain and you can add others he chose such an unlikely candidate [1:20:28] nobody could believe it frankly if you're going to choose between iraq and iran he should have chosen [1:20:33] he should have befriended iraq he went in the exact opposite direction of of all thinking and he made [1:20:42] a terrible mistake but that was a road to a nuclear weapon and when i terminated that [1:20:48] everyone said oh he terminated it it was one of the best things we ever did because he had a road [1:20:53] to a nuclear weapon and it was going to it was a very short-term deal you know countries don't do [1:20:58] 10-year deals countries do hundreds of years you don't do a 10-year deal for a country you need this [1:21:04] isn't you're a landlord you're renting a store on on a certain street and you give somebody a five-year [1:21:10] or 10-year lease this is a country it was a short-term deal it was ready to expire i terminated it before it [1:21:17] expired took a lot of heat and it was one of the best things they ever did because he would have [1:21:20] had a nuclear weapon then he would have had another nuclear weapon had those beautiful b2 [1:21:25] bombers not gone in eight months ago and obliterated that said and by the way the word is obliteration [1:21:32] cnn said well maybe it wasn't complete it was so complete that they still haven't been able to get [1:21:37] it it was obliteration but if we didn't hit them that was a courageous decision too because we [1:21:44] had all those planes flying in at night with very little cover unbelievable stealth planes [1:21:50] and they were able to do their job if we didn't do that iran would have had a nuclear weapon at a [1:21:57] high level either one of those two instances and if they did in my opinion i told this to bb [1:22:04] netanyahu yesterday israel would have been extinguished large portions of the middle east [1:22:12] would have been extinguished whether it's saudi arabia qatar uae or others and you saw that with [1:22:19] thousands of missiles raining down upon them they didn't think they were going to be hit they thought [1:22:23] they'd be watching us fight and all of a sudden uae got hit by 1500 missiles he would have taken them [1:22:30] out also and they were powerful if i didn't come along and terminate the obama deal which was terrible [1:22:38] the iran nuclear deal was a a road to a nuclear weapon a big one unlimited legally i terminated it [1:22:46] without even much thought it was so easy i terminated that and then the b2 bombers and i did one other [1:22:54] thing i had killed kassam solemini who was an evil genius and the reason i did it i heard he was going to [1:23:04] knock out five of our military bases and had he lived i believe we would be fighting perhaps a [1:23:14] different iran right now because because he's never he's never been replaced you know and i also i did [1:23:21] one other but that this one was not picked up osama bin laden if you read my book i said you got to [1:23:28] take him out one year before the world trade center came down so i wish you'd read the book [1:23:33] but you as a president to be a good president i believe you have to have good instincts and a [1:23:42] lot of this is instinct yeah please thank you so much thank you mr president last week uh last week [1:23:49] you suggested that europe should take the lead on reopening the strait of harmuz uh has circumstances [1:23:54] changed now that you're issuing a direct 40 out eight hour i mean 48 hour ultimatum and secondly [1:24:01] would a new new ceasefire include israel or would it just be between iran and i can't talk about [1:24:05] ceasefire but i can tell you that we have a active willing participant on the other side they would [1:24:13] like to be able to make a deal i can't say any more than that thank you mr president thank you so much [1:24:21] excuse me please thank you mr president who you with who you with my name is my name is with the [1:24:26] largest kurdish media outlet through the media network it's based in iran mr president you said [1:24:32] before that you don't want the kurdish forces to enter iran and be harmed do you still want them to [1:24:38] stay away or what role do you expect them to play now i'd rather have them stay away i'd rather have [1:24:45] them stay away because i think they bring with them some problems and some difficulties and i don't think [1:24:50] they bring death i mean you know to themselves but i'd rather have them stay away go ahead thank you [1:24:59] mr president for the question um deliberate attacks on civilian infrastructure violate the [1:25:04] geneva kind of conventions and international law who are you with i'm with the new york times [1:25:09] zolan from the new york times are you feeling the feeling are you concerned circulation way down at [1:25:14] the new york times are you concerned that your threat to bomb power plants and bridges amount [1:25:20] i hope i don't have to do it but again i just said 47 years they've been negotiating with these [1:25:26] people they're great negotiators and because they're not going to have a nuclear weapon and if [1:25:33] somebody that takes my place someday is weak and ineffective which possibly that will happen because [1:25:39] we had numerous presidents that were weak ineffective and afraid afraid of iran we're never going to let [1:25:46] iran have a nuclear weapon and if you think it's okay for people that are sick of mind that are [1:25:52] tough smart and sick really sick ideal uh you know from from a policy standpoint from a stamp any which [1:26:04] way you want to say mentally these are disturbed people if you think i'm going to allow them and [1:26:09] powerful and rich to have a nuclear weapon you can tell your friends at the new york times not going to [1:26:16] happen it means violating international law quiet quiet quiet quiet quiet you no longer have credibility [1:26:24] the new york times because the new york times said oh trump won't win the election and i won in a [1:26:29] landslide i won every swing state new york times said oh trump won't win the election new york times [1:26:34] has no credibility the credibility they have is it used to be all the news that's fit to print a great [1:26:40] the old gray lady it was great but they're they're running on past fumes and you can't keep doing that [1:26:46] you have to be able to give the correct news and people like you who i know are fake you're fake go ahead [1:26:53] please your messaging on the war has moved from the war is coming to an end to we're going to be [1:27:00] bombing iran to the stone ages and we've heard a range of those kind of messages so are you so which [1:27:06] is it are you winding this down are you i can't tell you i don't know i can't tell it depends what [1:27:11] they do this is a critical period they have a period of well till tomorrow at eight o'clock [1:27:18] i gave them an extension they asked for an extension of seven days right i said steve [1:27:24] give them 10 days 10 days is up actually today so i gave them 11 i guess indirectly [1:27:32] i thought it was inappropriate the day after easter i want to be a nice person uh they have till tomorrow [1:27:39] now we'll see what happens i can tell you they're negotiating we think in good faith we're going to [1:27:45] find out we're getting the help of some incredible countries that want this to be ended because it [1:27:52] affects them also a lot of people are affected by this but we're giving them uh we're giving them [1:27:58] till tomorrow eight o'clock eastern time and after that they're gonna have no bridges they're gonna have no [1:28:06] power plants stone ages yeah cnn fake are you willing to make a deal that does not include [1:28:20] reopening the strait of bormuz or is that now a top priority i would say it's a very big priority [1:28:25] because um see that's that's one thing that's a little different than other than we can bomb the [1:28:31] hell out of them we can knock them out for a loop but to close the strait all you need is one terrorist [1:28:38] that somehow has a truck loaded with because you can carry them in trucks large trucks a water mine [1:28:45] drop them in the water and now you tell people that own ships that cost a billion dollars to [1:28:51] don't worry about the mine you can do that even just by saying we put mines in the water [1:28:56] so it's not like the rest we can knock out their military we already have we've knocked out their navy [1:29:01] we've knocked out their air force completely knocked out 158 ships in three days we've knocked [1:29:08] out even their mind droppers they don't have any mind droppers anymore but they put them on other [1:29:12] boats and they could drop them i'm not even sure they have any mines there by the way i'm not sure i'm [1:29:17] personally they say there might be eight i don't know i don't know i think there might be none [1:29:23] because they're very good bullshit artists that's why for 47 years they've been bullshitting other [1:29:27] presidents and they haven't done the job and people are living in hell you live in that country they're [1:29:34] living in hell no i think that uh 47 years of this stuff is long enough they're at the weakest [1:29:43] point they've ever been they have no navy they have no air force they have no anti-aircraft weaponry [1:29:50] they have no radar they have no communication in fact the biggest problem we have in our negotiation is [1:29:55] that they can't communicate i said to steve what are they saying sir they can't communicate they have no [1:30:01] method of communication so we're doing we're communicating like they used to communicate [1:30:06] 2000 years ago with children bringing a note back and forth they have no communication but all i want [1:30:14] to see is i want to have a safe world and you're not going to have a safe world israel will be gone [1:30:20] the middle east will be gone and then they're coming for europe and i have to tell you i'm very [1:30:26] disappointed in nato very i think that nato i think it's a mark on nato that will never disappear [1:30:33] never disappear in my mind you know they're coming to see me on wednesday they're going to say oh we'll [1:30:36] do this we'll do that now they all of a sudden want to send things you know but they said it loud [1:30:42] and clear at the beginning when i spoke to uk of all i would have said they would have been there first [1:30:46] because they've been they're the oldest and i say yeah i'd love to have a little help said no sir we'd [1:30:53] rather wait till you win i said i don't need help after we win they have two old broken aircraft [1:30:59] carriers barely work i said i guess we can use them who the hell knows i called the general he didn't [1:31:04] even want he said we don't really need them we got we got the ss abraham lincoln sir we don't need [1:31:10] them do you know we have in terms of technology we had one day 101 missiles going at 2 700 miles an [1:31:19] hour aimed at the abraham lincoln 101 missiles out of 101 missiles 101 missiles were shot down [1:31:30] unbelievable technology 10 years ago five years ago i don't know if that would have been possible [1:31:36] but 10 years ago that wouldn't have been that wouldn't have been possible 101 missiles heading [1:31:42] to a ship that's not that far off the coast and out of the 101 missiles we shut down all 101 we have [1:31:52] weaponry uh the patriots are unbelievable we have weaponry that's unbelievable yeah go ahead please [1:32:04] thank you mr president um you said earlier today during the egg roll that you would like to take [1:32:08] iran's oil but americans want u.s forces home correct what's that trade if i had my choice if i had my [1:32:16] choice yeah because i'm a businessman first with venezuela as you know the war was over in about 45 minutes [1:32:24] and we have great people running venezuela very good people i mean the relationship is good [1:32:31] and we are a partner with venezuela and we've taken hundreds of millions of barrels hundreds of millions [1:32:40] over 100 million barrels already is in houston refined and out and paid paid for that war many many times [1:32:48] over many times you know the old days to the victim okay you know that to the uh to the winner belong [1:32:58] the spoils go the spoils and i've said why don't we use it to the victor go the spoils and we don't [1:33:05] have that we haven't had that in this country probably in 100 years because even the second world war you [1:33:09] look at the second world war we didn't have it with the second world we helped rebuild all those [1:33:14] countries we rebuilt germany how about germany telling us germany telling us that uh well it's [1:33:20] not their war we had nothing to do with getting they wanted me to go and tell them everything i was [1:33:26] doing we didn't know anything about it well if i would have told them they would have leaked it [1:33:31] and we wouldn't have been nearly as successful possibly right but to the victor belong the spoils [1:33:37] so we haven't heard we haven't heard that in i think maybe hundreds of years now with venezuela [1:33:45] and we just so you understand the people of venezuela they say if i ran for president of [1:33:49] venezuela i'm polling higher than anybody has ever polled in venezuela so after i'm finished with this [1:33:56] i can go to venezuela i will quickly learn spanish it won't take too long i'm good at language [1:34:01] and i will go to venezuela i'm going to run for president but we're very happy with the president [1:34:06] elect that we have right now the the the people that are running it if you remember bush with iraq they [1:34:14] fired the generals they fired the police they fired the people that worked in their equivalent of the [1:34:19] white house they fired everybody and you know what they had they had a mess and you know what happened [1:34:25] isis formed those generals and those soldiers got together the police got together they all got [1:34:30] together they formed isis not going to happen with us so venezuela has been an incredible it's been [1:34:37] an incredible situation we went in we were very successful military power like nobody's ever seen the [1:34:43] general uh venezuelan general said i was on that site i said i've never seen ferocity like that i've [1:34:50] been doing this for 40 years he said i've never seen it they they hit us from 17 different it was [1:34:56] they were all set they saw that big beautiful aircraft carrier the ford in that case and planes [1:35:03] were pouring off it at one o'clock in the morning so typically when you see that late at night you know [1:35:10] you could be in trouble right and we were already they had their equipment it was russian and they [1:35:17] had chinese equipment it was all set they were going to give us a fight he said and then they came [1:35:23] and they came at speeds like we've never seen and they came at 17 different angles the general and his [1:35:30] people that was a lot of angles they hit him from every angle he said we knew it was over in three [1:35:37] minutes we were waiting for them their equipment didn't work and there's a reason it didn't work [1:35:44] someday we'll explain that to people they pressed the button nothing happened they pressed it again [1:35:49] and again nothing happened and he said we knew this whole thing was over in three minutes we've never [1:35:55] seen any he used the word ferocity the ferocity of these planes from 17 different angles and it was [1:36:02] over they went inside and remember that was on a military base with thousands of soldiers and those [1:36:08] soldiers looked and they said get the hell out of here thousands we didn't have thousands we had [1:36:13] like 200 people so we have a great military and i'll tell you what somehow this rescue captured the [1:36:22] world's attention more so than normally you're talking about two people but this rescue captured the [1:36:30] world's attention but we did it in venezuela that was amazing and now we have a very bad man in [1:36:36] prison and going to trial i mean he he released aside from the drugs which he was terrible maduro [1:36:44] released hundreds of thousands of people from jails into our country drug dealers murderers the worst [1:36:52] people in the world were released into our country because we had a stupid president who probably [1:36:58] didn't know and we had a border czar who never went to the border and never once called our great [1:37:03] border patrol agents right not once kamala she never called the border patrol she never said how [1:37:08] we doing i used to call the border patrol guys every day you can ask them paul ask any one of them [1:37:14] brandon ask them all the time how are we doing how are we doing and we now i'm proud to say have a [1:37:19] totally sealed border nine months nobody is coming through our but and nobody even tries because i know [1:37:24] they're not going to get through so we don't have caravans anymore all right so maybe one or two more and [1:37:30] will be done mr president are you allowed to are you willing to end this conflict with iran charging [1:37:38] tolls for passage through the street uh us charging tolls iran what about us charging tolls is that [1:37:46] something you're considering i'd rather do that than let them have them run why shouldn't we we're the [1:37:50] winner we won okay they are militarily defeated the only thing they have is the psychology of oh we're [1:37:58] going to drop a couple of mines in the water all right no we i mean we have a concept where we'll [1:38:03] charge tolls okay i thought you meant your question your question your question would [1:38:09] your question would have been more accurate if you said us go ahead thank you very much just to [1:38:14] clarify in order for iran to successfully meet your deadline tomorrow do they have to make a deal [1:38:20] open the street or both we have to have a deal that's acceptable to me and part of that deal is going [1:38:27] to be we want free traffic of oil and everything thank you very much you've said glory be to god [1:38:38] in this conflict do you believe that god supports the united states actions and i do because god is [1:38:43] good because because god is good and god wants to see people taken care of god doesn't like what's [1:38:50] happening i don't like what's happening everyone says i enjoy i don't enjoy this i don't enjoy it [1:38:55] these two guys don't enjoy it you know people say oh boy they're so tough they don't want they don't [1:39:00] like i don't like seeing people killed i've ended eight wars nobody's ever done it the person who won [1:39:07] the nobel prize came to me and said you deserve the nobel prize she announced that when they announced [1:39:12] they said goes to maria she's a great person really a good person she said no no no this is ridiculous [1:39:21] they gave me the nobel prize president trump ended eight wars i could go over every one of them including [1:39:27] india and pakistan where the prime minister of pakistan said president trump saved from 30 to [1:39:33] 50 million lives that makes me much happier than what we're doing right now that makes me much [1:39:40] happier we have one more to end by the way you called the yesterday in your truth social you called [1:39:51] the iranians crazy bastards true um what is your response to critics who say that i don't care about [1:39:58] critics what is your response to critics who say that it is your mental health that should perhaps [1:40:01] be examined as this war continues i haven't heard that but if that's the case you're going to have [1:40:05] to have more people like me because our country was being ripped off on trade or on everything [1:40:12] for many years until i came along so if that's the case you're going to have to have more people [1:40:17] dashi go you said that very little is off limits in iran as far as targeting including power plants [1:40:24] bridges you've mentioned those very little is offline are there certain kinds of civilian [1:40:28] targets though i'm thinking i don't want to tell you that i don't want to tell you that we have [1:40:34] we have a plan because of the power of our military where every bridge in iran will be decimated [1:40:44] by 12 o'clock tomorrow night where every power plant in iran will be out of business burning [1:40:52] exploding and never to be used again i mean complete demolition by 12 o'clock and it'll happen over a [1:40:59] period of four hours if we wanted to we don't want that to happen we may even get involved with [1:41:05] helping them rebuild their nation and you know what if that's the case the last thing we want to do is [1:41:10] start with power plants which are among the most expensive thing and bridges you saw the bridge the bridge [1:41:16] one we were very close to a deal and then i got a call from mr whitkov mr kushner and jd [1:41:26] saying i think they're breaking the deal i said tell them that's okay don't worry about it but tell [1:41:33] them to look out their window and watch and within 45 minutes i gave the order to knock out the biggest [1:41:40] bridge i gave the order knock out the biggest bridge in i believe the middle east but the biggest bridge in [1:41:46] iran and within 10 minutes after i gave that order that bridge was was over so so do i want to do that no [1:41:56] do i want to destroy their infrastructure no it will take them a hundred years to rebuild right now [1:42:03] if we left today it would take them 20 years to rebuild their country and it would never be as good [1:42:10] as it was and the only way they're going to be able to rebuild their country is to utilize the [1:42:14] genius of the united states of america voice your displeasure with nato in the past is there a danger [1:42:24] to the u.s not being the de facto of the leader of the alliance and then other powers within the [1:42:30] alliance then getting the decision making when it comes to wars and nuclear weapons no it's not a [1:42:34] danger nato's look we went to nato i didn't ask very strongly i just said hey if you want to help great [1:42:42] no no no we will not help i said that's all right you don't want to help because i've always said [1:42:47] nato's a paper tiger see nato's a paper tiger putin's not afraid of nato putin's afraid of us [1:42:54] very afraid of us and he's explained it to me a lot of times i got to know him very well i know very [1:42:59] well uh nato's a paper tiger nato is us and when we needed them but we didn't need them by the way [1:43:07] we didn't need them obviously because they haven't helped at all just the opposite they've actually [1:43:12] gone out of their way not to help they didn't even want to give us landing strips he's great and pete [1:43:18] all i can say is that he was treated very unfairly and now those same people that treated him unfairly [1:43:25] that fought against him they called me up saying what a great choice he was they said well what [1:43:30] happened uh during this nomination what happened to you i'm telling you people that were not forum [1:43:36] senators friends of mine sir i don't think you're doing the right thing now they call me up what a [1:43:41] choice these two guys are fantastic and john ratcliffe was incredible it was actually their [1:43:48] genius that called us from he was 40 miles away and he said you know we're seeing something moving [1:43:56] up in the mountain this is at night and they kept the camera on him for 45 minutes he wasn't moving and [1:44:03] they said you know probably wrong but we're seeing something moving this is a mad vast mountain vast [1:44:11] thick with bushes trees he said we see something moving 40 miles away it was a the head of a human [1:44:20] being i'm telling you it's moving and then all of a sudden 45 minutes later he moved a lot stood up [1:44:29] and they said we have him and that was really the beginning of something incredible we had an idea [1:44:35] where he was but not specifically that's a big mountain so uh i want to thank the cia too i don't think [1:44:43] they get enough credit for the great job they've done yes please thank you very much mr president for [1:44:50] this great opportunity country it has superior army you make a difference mr president thank you for [1:44:59] your greatest leadership thank you i have two quick questions mr president what was your reaction when you [1:45:07] learned that kurdistan region had resumed exporting oil to the international market with your [1:45:14] support as united states of america well i expected that we've gotten along with the kurds for [1:45:21] a long time so i expected that uh another question what would what would be your reaction [1:45:29] if the iranian people rise up against their regime during a case fire mr president well they [1:45:36] should do it but again the consequences are great i mean they were told you if you protest you will [1:45:41] be shot immediately you saw what happened to the young wrestler he was a great champion by the way he [1:45:47] was a great wrestler one of the top in the world and he and his two friends were hung and all they did [1:45:55] was say a little bit about liberty they wanted liberty and they were violently executed but the number is [1:46:02] up to probably 45 000 people were killed so you know when somebody stays in a house when they know if they [1:46:08] walk out of the house to protest they'll be immediately shot and killed and they issued that you [1:46:14] know that was publicly issued it's not a secret that's why so many people say oh well why are you [1:46:19] doing this way we can't let iran have a nuclear weapon you know we got regime change we do we're [1:46:26] dealing with a much different regime than before we're doing with different people they're smarter i think [1:46:33] they're sharper uh and far less radical we have regime change but uh we didn't do this for regime [1:46:41] change we did it for the fact and my my view was very simple i saw somebody said oh he doesn't have [1:46:47] a plan i have the best plan of all but i'm not going to tell you what my plan is you know they want me to [1:46:51] say here's my plan we're going to attack at 9 47 in the morning and then we're going to do this and [1:46:57] then we're going to and if you don't do that they say i have a plan these people know what the plan [1:47:01] is everybody here knows what the plan is but uh it's uh very unfair to say we're because i don't [1:47:08] mind being insulted i've been insulted for many years by the by the fake news but you can't it's [1:47:14] so bad for the the people that are so per you just saw two great and john ratliff three unbelievable [1:47:21] people they have a plan every every single thing has been thought out by all of us but i can't reveal [1:47:28] the plan to the media so you know but we're just thrilled by the success of this operation yes [1:47:34] please thank you mr president uh you've said iranians would be mad if you stopped these attacks but why [1:47:39] would they want you to blow up their infrastructure to cut off their power wouldn't that be punishing [1:47:45] iranians for the actions of the regime they would be willing just they would be and it's suffering they [1:47:49] would be willing to suffer that in order to have freedom uh the iranians have and we've had numerous [1:47:57] intercepts please keep bombing bombs that are dropping near their homes please keep bombing do [1:48:04] it and these are people that are living where the bombs are exploding and when we leave and we're not [1:48:10] hitting those areas they're saying please come back come back come back these are the people [1:48:17] i don't know what they do all i can tell you is they want freedom they have lived in a world that [1:48:23] you know nothing about it's a violent horrible world where if you protest you are shot remember the [1:48:31] great woman protest where they had 400 000 500 000 women and they were all enthused and they were gonna [1:48:37] protest and everybody said oh the regime is going to come to an end and then all of a sudden boom boom [1:48:46] five six different areas a woman would go down right between the eyes they had snipers they had five [1:48:52] snipers that's all it took and those four or five hundred thousand women said oh my god what's that [1:48:59] oh look over there what's that a woman shot right between the eyes and after five or six of them go [1:49:08] down then you start hearing the purr through the vast number of people and then they said oh my god who [1:49:17] would do that and they're incredible people but they've lived so horribly they've lived so horribly you [1:49:24] you know iran was a great country if you go back 25 years ago or so uh the persian people the [1:49:31] they're incredible smart brilliant actually and i know so many i know coming from new york [1:49:37] originally i i know so many people from iran they're incredible people incredible energy and [1:49:43] and uh very very brilliant people and but when you're standing in a group and protesting and you [1:49:48] have a woman in the case of the woman remember the great woman march everybody was like oh this is the [1:49:53] end of the country and then snipers selectively picked every single one was shot right between [1:50:01] the eyes from a long distance they were on top of buildings nobody even knew where they were where [1:50:06] they're coming from this wasn't like a machine gun which is also very bad they've done that too [1:50:10] they did that recently this was snipers sitting on the top of buildings aiming and hitting women and when [1:50:19] they see people go down and all of a sudden there's a riot in the reverse direction and they never came [1:50:25] out again and a lot of the the news doesn't talk about that they talk about oh women's rights you want [1:50:32] to see women's rights you're not going to see it there it's amazing when i see some of the stupid [1:50:37] people like you know aoc plus three all that group they talk about oh freedom for iran [1:50:44] they don't tell you the real facts women men gays how about gays for iran they kill the gays they [1:50:53] throw them off buildings so i wonder what what's going on i can only say this they want us to keep [1:51:01] bombing even if it jeopardized because their life is in much greater danger they want freedom for iran [1:51:07] but it's very hard for them to protest i actually tell them i said don't go out i fully understand [1:51:12] nobody in this room would go out i don't think there's anything because frankly it's not a [1:51:16] question of bravery we're all brave right you're brave i'm brave we're all brave but we're also [1:51:21] intelligent if you have people shooting at you expert shots with the best rifles you can get [1:51:29] and hitting you right between the eyes every single time and you're looking here and you're [1:51:34] seeing and you're looking here you're out of there i don't care who [1:51:37] are you going forward mark meredith fox news uh i know that oh thank you go ahead america's [1:51:44] watching uh no um can we go back to the weekend first off was everyone on board with the operation [1:51:50] or were there people that were trying to talk you out of going through with the operation this weekend [1:51:54] not everybody was on board somebody else within no there was military people very professional [1:51:59] that preferred not doing it these two were totally on board which was very important they weren't [1:52:06] it would have a little difficulty but uh no there were military people that said you just don't do [1:52:11] this you don't go into the heart of a very powerful military you know this is hey you have countries [1:52:18] and countries you have some countries where military is not there's the wrong suit this whole thing is [1:52:23] militarized like nobody's ever seen before half the people are wearing uniforms uh and we had we had [1:52:30] people within the military usually it's not done that's one of the reasons you know i was surprised [1:52:36] somebody said it's the only time it's ever been done i said that's not possible but it is possible [1:52:41] because you're going into hundreds of thousands of soldiers along the path i mean look at some of [1:52:47] the helicopters how they got hit so yeah there were people within the military that said it's a wise [1:52:54] and don't forget how many men did you send all together approximately for the operation i'd love to [1:53:00] keep that a secret okay well we are but i will tell you the number i'll keep it a secret but it was [1:53:08] hundreds and hundreds of these people that's pretty good is he central is he central casting but [1:53:15] hundreds of people went into this journey hundreds of people could have been killed forget about the [1:53:21] equipment a lot of equipment nobody cares hundreds of people could have been killed so we had people [1:53:27] that were within the military that said this is not a wise and i understood that but i decided to [1:53:33] do it was there a point that they were going to that you were thinking there's too much on the line [1:53:38] and somebody was saying maybe we abort this now and wait i mean given the resources like the general [1:53:43] said it seemed like there was so much on the line here you must have been thinking this could have [1:53:47] completely changed so the first one which was in many ways as dangerous as the second i guess it gets [1:53:55] because we're flying over daylight you know we're the best at the world at night we have goggles that [1:54:00] nobody we have goggles i've tried them unbelievable i see better with the goggles at night with it [1:54:06] than i see without them during daylight i mean daylight today we have a beautiful day you see just as well [1:54:13] with goggles in many ways it's enhanced so we have the best in the world so it's much safe for us to [1:54:19] for us to do it at night whereas other people no other country has that capability they don't have the [1:54:24] they don't have that particular piece of equipment like we do but when i was told flying and in [1:54:32] daylight i think we flew seven hours over iran and that's a long time over unbelievably hostile territory [1:54:40] where they have nothing but weapons we took out their anti-aircraft which is great we took out their [1:54:46] radar which is great we took out a lot but they still have you know what hit this one was a shoulder [1:54:51] handheld shoulder missile heat seeking missile so it's not like you know they're totally whatever [1:54:58] but but and they have probably a little luck because you got to get lucky but they shot it and [1:55:04] it got sucked in right by the engine but these guys were out of there they were great their timing was [1:55:09] great but no i was told that this is a very uh dangerous mission i understand they didn't say it's a [1:55:16] foolish mission they said you know we're going to be sacrificing hundreds of people do this this is [1:55:21] i mean you have tankers that are flying over this area so that they because the flight was so long [1:55:26] they had to refuel it's a very dangerous mission uh i just felt it was worth it if you would have [1:55:32] told me that we would have been successful gotten both and nobody was even essentially injured i would [1:55:39] have said that would be impossible yeah thank you very much uh thank you sir well i'll come back okay uh [1:55:45] given that you are now dealing you say with a more reasonable um less uh extreme leadership [1:55:51] in iran what does that mean for the protesters for the human rights movement in that country after [1:55:57] this conflict what's your expectation yeah if they assume control if we do something and they [1:56:02] assume control i think it's very positive a big step uh i don't think you'd see the radicalization [1:56:07] that you have seen in the last look what happened i mean women are being executed because they're not [1:56:14] properly clothed they say they're not properly clothed and they execute the women they absolutely [1:56:20] they shoot them right on the street uh no you have a much different group of people now i'm not saying [1:56:26] we are dealing with them uh essentially they have till eight o'clock tomorrow night eastern time [1:56:34] but we are dealing with them i think it's going well mr whitkoff is here and jd's involved in the [1:56:40] dealing mr whitkoff is sitting right here and i think it's going fine but we'll have to see you have to [1:56:45] understand we've been dealing with these people for 47 years i'm standing here with a much more [1:56:53] powerful iran as of a month ago not anymore right now they are decapitated but i'm standing here a [1:57:01] month ago with a much more powerful iran than it was at any point during 47 years this should have been [1:57:08] handled by seven presidents a lot of presidents and those presidents are saying now every one of them to [1:57:15] their friends we should have done this a long time ago so it's not something i like doing it's very [1:57:22] dangerous and we're getting them at the height of of their strength if i didn't terminate the barack [1:57:28] hussein obama iran nuclear deal they would have had a don't forget that was a path to a nuclear weapon [1:57:34] remember this he chose iran over israel pure and simple how and how israel can vote for a democrat is [1:57:44] if you're jewish in new york city or any place else in this country and how you can vote for a democrat [1:57:52] is in believe because he chose iran a very hostile iran remember when he filled up a 757 with cash [1:58:00] billions of dollars of cash and he sent it over to them then they gave them tens of billions of [1:58:06] dollars he chose iran over israel and really the arab world if you look because you know the other [1:58:13] saudi arabia qatar uae i mean you take a look i mean i can add kuwait and i can add bahrain [1:58:21] and you can add others he chose such an unlikely candidate nobody could believe it frankly if you're [1:58:28] going to choose between iraq and iran he should have chosen he should have befriended iraq he went [1:58:35] in the exact opposite direction of of all thinking and he made a terrible mistake but that was a road [1:58:43] to a nuclear weapon and when i terminated that everyone said oh he terminated it it was one of [1:58:49] the best things we ever did because he had a road to a nuclear weapon and it was going to it was a [1:58:54] very short-term deal you know countries don't do 10-year deals countries do hundreds of years [1:59:00] you don't do a 10-year deal for a country you need this isn't you're a landlord you're renting a store [1:59:05] on on a certain street and you give somebody a five-year or 10-year lease this is a country [1:59:10] it was a short-term deal it was ready to expire i terminated it before it expired took a lot of [1:59:16] heat and it was one of the best things they ever did because he would have had a nuclear weapon then [1:59:20] he would have had another nuclear weapon had those beautiful b2 bombers not gone in eight months ago [1:59:26] and obliterated that said and by the way the word is obliteration cnn said well maybe it wasn't [1:59:33] complete it was so complete that they still haven't been able to get it it was obliteration but if we [1:59:38] didn't hit them that was a courageous decision too because we had all those planes flying in at night [1:59:45] with very little cover unbelievable stealth planes and they were able to do their job if we didn't do [1:59:51] that iran would have had a nuclear weapon at a high level either one of those two instances and if they [1:59:59] did in my opinion i told this to bb netanyahu yesterday israel would have been extinguished large [2:00:08] portions of the middle east would have been extinguished whether it's saudi arabia qatar uae or [2:00:15] others and you saw that with thousands of missiles raining down upon them they didn't think they were [2:00:20] going to be hit they thought they'd be watching us fight and all of a sudden uae got hit by 1500 [2:00:26] missiles he would have taken them out also and they were powerful if i didn't come along and terminate [2:00:35] the obama deal which was terrible the iran nuclear deal was a a road to a nuclear weapon a big one [2:00:41] unlimited legally i terminated it without even much thought it was so easy i terminated that and then [2:00:50] the b2 bombers and i did one other thing i had killed kassam solemini who was an evil genius and the [2:01:00] reason i did it i heard he was going to knock out five of our military bases and had he lived i [2:01:09] believe we would be fighting perhaps a different iran right now because because he's never he's [2:01:17] never been replaced you know and i also i did one other but that this one was not picked up [2:01:22] osama bin laden if you read my book i said you got to take him out one year before the world trade [2:01:28] center came down so i wish you'd read the book but you as a president to be a good president i [2:01:38] believe you have to have good instincts and a lot of this is instinct yeah please last week uh last [2:01:48] week you suggested that europe should take the lead on reopening the strait of hormuz [2:01:51] uh has circumstances changed now that you're issuing a direct 48 hour i mean 48 hour ultimatum and secondly [2:01:59] would a new new ceasefire include israel or would it just be between iran i can't talk about ceasefire [2:02:04] but i can tell you that we have a active willing participant on the other side they would like [2:02:12] to be able to make a deal i can't say any more than that you've listed the goals excuse me please go [2:02:21] you've listed the goals who you with who you with my name is d.r kurda i'm with the largest [2:02:25] kurdish media outlet through the media network it's based in iran mr president you said before that [2:02:32] you don't want the kurdish forces to enter iran and be harmed do you still want them to stay away [2:02:37] or what role do you expect them to play now i'd rather have them stay away i'd rather have them stay [2:02:43] away because i think they bring with them some problems and some difficulties and i don't think [2:02:49] they bring death i mean you know to themselves but i'd rather have them stay away go ahead thank you [2:02:58] mr president for the question um deliberate attacks on civilian infrastructure violate the [2:03:02] geneva kind of conventions and international law who are you with i'm with the new york times [2:03:07] zolan from the new york times are you feeling the feeling are you concerned circulation way [2:03:12] down at the new york times are you concerned that your threat to bomb power plants and bridges amount [2:03:18] i hope i don't have to do it but again i just said 47 years they've been negotiating with these [2:03:25] people they're great negotiators and because they're not going to have a nuclear weapon and if [2:03:31] somebody that takes my place someday is weak and ineffective which possibly that will happen because [2:03:37] we had numerous presidents that were weak ineffective and afraid afraid of iran we're never going to let [2:03:44] iran have a nuclear weapon and if you think it's okay for people that are sick of mind that are tough [2:03:53] smart and sick really sick ideal uh you know from from a policy standpoint from a stamp any which [2:04:02] way you want to say mentally these are disturbed people if you think i'm going to allow them and [2:04:08] powerful and rich to have a nuclear weapon you can tell your friends at the new york times not going [2:04:14] to happen it means violating international law you no longer have credibility the new york times [2:04:24] because the new york times said oh trump won't win the election and i won in a landslide i won every [2:04:28] swing state new york times said oh trump won't win the election new york times has no credibility the [2:04:34] credibility they have is it used to be all the news that's fit to print a great the old gray lady it [2:04:40] was great but they're they're running on past fumes and you can't keep doing that you have to be able to [2:04:45] give the correct news and people like you who i know are fake you're fake go ahead please your [2:04:53] messaging on the war has moved from the war is coming to an end to we're going to be bombing iran [2:04:59] to the stone ages and we've heard a range of those kind of messages so are you so which is it are you [2:05:05] winding this down are you i can't tell you i don't know i can't tell it depends what they do this is a [2:05:10] critical period they have a period of well till tomorrow at eight o'clock i gave them an extension [2:05:18] they asked for an extension of seven days right i said steve give them 10 days 10 days is up actually [2:05:28] today so i gave them 11 i guess indirectly i thought it was inappropriate the day after easter [2:05:33] i want to be a nice person uh they have till tomorrow now we'll see what happens [2:05:39] i can tell you they're negotiating we think in good faith we're going to find out we're getting [2:05:45] the help of some incredible countries that want this to be ended because it affects them also a [2:05:51] lot of people are affected by this but we're giving them uh we're giving them till tomorrow [2:05:58] eight o'clock eastern time and after that they're going to have no bridges they're going to have no [2:06:04] power plants stone ages yeah cnn fake are you willing to make a deal that does not include [2:06:18] reopening the strait of bormuz or is that now a top priority i would say it's a very big priority because [2:06:25] see that's that's one thing that's a little different than other than we can bomb the hell [2:06:30] out of them we can knock them out for a loop but to close the strait all you need is one terrorist [2:06:36] that somehow has a truck loaded with because you can carry them in trucks large trucks a water mine [2:06:44] drop them in the water and now you tell people that own ships that cost a billion dollars to [2:06:49] don't worry about the mine you can do that even just by saying we put mines in the water [2:06:54] so it's not like the rest we can knock out their military we already have we've knocked out their navy [2:07:00] we've knocked out their air force completely knocked out 158 ships in three days we've knocked [2:07:06] out even their mind droppers they don't have any mind droppers anymore but they put them on other [2:07:10] boats and they could drop them i'm not even sure they have any mines there by the way i'm not sure i'm [2:07:15] personally they say there might be eight i don't know i don't know i think there might be none [2:07:21] because they're very good artists that's why for 47 years they've been bullshitting other presidents [2:07:27] and they haven't done the job and people are living in hell you live in that country they're living in hell [2:07:33] uh no i think that uh 47 years of this stuff is long enough they're at the weakest point they've [2:07:42] ever been they have no navy they have no air force they have no anti-aircraft weaponry they have no [2:07:49] radar they have no communication in fact the biggest problem we have in our negotiation is that they can't [2:07:54] communicate i said to steve what are they saying sir they can't communicate they have no method of [2:08:00] communication so we're doing we're communicating like they used to communicate 2000 years ago with [2:08:06] children bringing a note back and forth they have no communication but all i want to see is i want [2:08:13] to have a safe world and you're not going to have a safe world israel will be gone the middle east will [2:08:20] be gone and then they're coming for europe and i have to tell you i'm very disappointed in nato [2:08:26] very i think that nato i think it's a mark on nato that will never disappear never disappear in my [2:08:32] mind you know they're coming to see me on wednesday they're going to say oh we'll do this we'll do that [2:08:37] now they all of a sudden want to send things you know but they said it loud and clear at the beginning [2:08:42] when i spoke to uk of all i would have said they would have been there first because they've been [2:08:46] they're the oldest and i say yeah i'd love to have a little help said no sir we'd rather wait till you [2:08:52] win i said i don't need help after we win they have two old broken aircraft carriers barely work [2:08:59] i said i guess we can use them who the hell knows i called the general he didn't even want [2:09:03] he said we don't really need them we got we got the ss abraham lincoln sir we don't need them [2:09:09] do you know we have in terms of technology we had one day 101 missiles going at 2 700 miles an hour [2:09:18] aimed at the abraham lincoln 101 missiles out of 101 missiles 101 missiles were shot down [2:09:28] unbelievable technology 10 years ago five years ago i don't know if that would have been possible [2:09:34] but 10 years ago that wouldn't have been that wouldn't have been possible uh 101 missiles heading [2:09:41] to a ship that's not that far off the coast and out of the 101 missiles we shut down all 101 we have [2:09:51] weaponry uh the patriots are unbelievable we have weaponry that's unbelievable yeah go ahead please [2:10:02] thank you mr president um you said earlier today during the egg roll that you would like to take [2:10:07] iran's oil but americans want u.s forces home correct what's that trade i had my choice if i had my [2:10:14] choice yeah because i'm a businessman first with venezuela as you know the war was over in about 45 minutes [2:10:23] and we have great people running venezuela very good people i mean the relationship is good [2:10:30] and we are a partner with venezuela and we've taken hundreds of millions of barrels hundreds of millions [2:10:38] over 100 million barrels already is in houston refined and out and paid paid for that war many many times [2:10:47] over many times you know the old days to the victim okay you know that to the uh to the winner belong [2:10:56] the spoils go the spoils and i've said why don't we use it to the victor go the spoils and we don't [2:11:04] have that we haven't had that in this country probably in 100 years because even the second world war you [2:11:08] look at the second world war we didn't have it with the second world we helped rebuild all those [2:11:13] countries we rebuilt germany how about germany telling us germany telling us that uh well it's [2:11:19] not their war we had nothing to do with getting they wanted me to go and tell them everything i was [2:11:25] doing we didn't know anything about it well if i would have told them they would have leaked it [2:11:30] and we wouldn't have been nearly as successful possibly right but to the victor belong the spoils [2:11:35] so we haven't heard we haven't heard that in i think maybe hundreds of years now with venezuela [2:11:43] and we just so you understand the people of venezuela they say if i ran for president of [2:11:48] venezuela i'm polling higher than anybody has ever polled in venezuela so after i'm finished with this [2:11:54] i can go to venezuela i will quickly learn spanish it won't take too long i'm good at language and i [2:12:00] will go to venezuela i'm going to run for president but we're very happy with the president-elect that we [2:12:05] have right now the the the people that are running it if you remember bush with iraq they fired the [2:12:13] generals they fired the police they fired the people that worked in their equivalent of the [2:12:18] white house they fired everybody and you know they had they had a mess and you know what happened [2:12:23] isis formed those generals and those soldiers got together the police got together they all got [2:12:28] together they formed isis not going to happen with us so venezuela has been an incredible it's been [2:12:35] an incredible situation we went in we were very successful military power like nobody's ever seen the [2:12:42] general uh venezuelan general said i was on that site i said i've never seen ferocity like that i've [2:12:49] been doing this for 40 years he said i've never seen it they they hit us from 17 different it was [2:12:55] they were all set they saw that big beautiful aircraft carrier the ford in that case [2:13:01] and planes were pouring off it at one o'clock in the morning so typically when you see that late at night [2:13:07] you know you could be in trouble right and we were already they had their equipment it was russian [2:13:15] and they had chinese equipment it was all set they were going to give us a fight he said and then [2:13:21] they came and they came at speeds like we've never seen and they came at 17 different angles [2:13:28] the general and his people that was a lot of angles they hit him from every angle he said we knew [2:13:34] it was over in three minutes we were waiting for them their equipment didn't work and there's a [2:13:41] reason it didn't work someday we'll explain that to people they pressed the button nothing happened [2:13:47] they pressed it again and again nothing happened and he said we knew this whole thing was over in [2:13:52] three minutes we've never seen any he used the word ferocity the ferocity of these planes from 17 [2:13:59] different angles and it was over they went inside and remember that was on a military base with [2:14:04] thousands of soldiers and those soldiers looked and they said get the hell out of here thousands [2:14:10] we didn't have thousands we had like 200 people so we have a great military and i'll tell you what [2:14:18] somehow this rescue captured the world's attention more so than normally you're talking about two [2:14:24] people but this rescue captured the world's attention but we did it in venezuela that was [2:14:32] amazing and now we have a very bad man in prison and going to trial i mean he he released aside [2:14:39] from the drugs which he was terrible maduro released hundreds of thousands of people from jails into our [2:14:47] country drug dealers murderers the worst people in the world were released into our country because we [2:14:54] had a stupid president who probably didn't know and we had a border czar who never went to the border [2:15:00] and never once called our great border patrol agents right not once kamala she never called the [2:15:05] border patrol she never said how we doing i used to call the border patrol guys every day you can [2:15:09] ask them paul ask any one of them brandon ask them all the time how are we doing how are we doing [2:15:16] and we now i'm proud to say have a totally sealed border nine months nobody is coming through our but [2:15:21] and nobody even tries because they know they're not going to get through so we don't have caravans [2:15:24] anymore so maybe one or two more and we'll be done mr president are you allowed to or are you [2:15:33] willing to end this conflict with iran charging tolls for passage through the street uh us charging tolls [2:15:41] iran what about us charging tolls is that something you're considering i'd rather do that than let them [2:15:47] have them run why shouldn't we we're the winner we won okay they are militarily defeated the only thing [2:15:54] they have is the psychology of oh we're going to drop a couple of mines in the water all right [2:15:59] no we i mean we have a concept where we'll charge tolls okay i thought you meant your question your [2:16:07] question would your question would have been more accurate if you said us just to clarify in order for [2:16:14] iran to successfully meet your deadline tomorrow do they have to make a deal open the street or both we [2:16:21] have to have a deal that's acceptable to me and part of that deal is going to be we want free traffic [2:16:27] of oil and everything thank you very much you've said glory be to god in this conflict do you believe [2:16:38] that god supports the united states actions and i do because god is good because god is good and god [2:16:45] wants to see people taken care of god doesn't like what's happening i don't like what's happening [2:16:50] i've everyone says i enjoy i don't enjoy this i don't enjoy these two guys don't enjoy it you know [2:16:55] people say oh boy they're so tough they don't want they don't like i don't like seeing people killed [2:17:00] i've ended eight wars nobody's ever done it the person who won the nobel prize came to me and said [2:17:07] you deserve the nobel prize she announced that when they announced they said goes to maria she's a great [2:17:14] person really a good person she said no no no this is ridiculous they gave me the nobel prize [2:17:21] president trump ended eight wars i could go over every one of them including india and pakistan [2:17:27] where the prime minister of pakistan said president trump saved from 30 to 50 million lives that makes [2:17:35] me much happier than what we're doing right now that makes me much happier we have one more to end by [2:17:40] the way okay president um you called the yesterday in your truth social you called the iranians crazy [2:17:51] bastards true um what is your response to critics who say that i don't care about critics what is [2:17:57] your response to critics who say that it is your mental health that should perhaps be examined as [2:18:00] this war continues i haven't heard that but if that's the case you're going to have to have more [2:18:04] people like me because our country was being ripped off on trade or on everything for many years until [2:18:12] i came along so if that's the case you're going to have to have more people dash you go [2:18:16] you said that very little is off limits in iran as far as targeting including power plants bridges [2:18:23] you've mentioned those very little is often are there certain kinds of civilian targets though [2:18:27] i'm thinking i don't want to tell you that i don't want to tell you that we have we have a plan [2:18:34] because of the power of our military where every bridge in iran will be decimated by 12 o'clock [2:18:43] tomorrow night where every power plant in iran will be out of business burning exploding and never [2:18:52] to be used again i mean complete demolition by 12 o'clock and it'll happen over a period of four [2:18:58] hours if we wanted to we don't want that to happen we may even get involved with helping them [2:19:04] rebuild their nation and you know what if that's the case the last thing we want to do is start with [2:19:09] power plants which are among the most expensive thing and bridges you saw the bridge [2:19:14] the bridge one we were very close to a deal and then i got a call from mr whitkov mr kushner [2:19:23] and jd saying i think they're breaking the deal i said tell them that's okay don't worry about it [2:19:31] but tell them to look out their window and watch and within 45 minutes i gave the order to knock out [2:19:38] the biggest bridge i gave the order knock out the biggest bridge in i believe the middle east but [2:19:43] the biggest bridge in iran and within 10 minutes after i gave that order that bridge was was over [2:19:52] so so do i want to do that no do i want to destroy their infrastructure no it will take them a hundred [2:19:59] years to rebuild right now if we left today it would take them 20 years to rebuild their country and it [2:20:07] would never be as good as it was and the only way they're going to be able to rebuild their country [2:20:12] is to utilize the genius of the united states of america has voiced your displeasure with nato [2:20:21] in the past is there a danger to the u.s not being the de facto of the leader of the alliance and then [2:20:27] other powers within the alliance then getting the decision making when it comes to wars and nuclear [2:20:32] weapons no it's not a danger nato's look we went to nato i didn't ask very strongly i just said hey if [2:20:39] you want to help great no no no we will not help i said that's all right you don't want to help [2:20:44] because i've always said nato's a paper tiger see nato is a paper tiger putin's not afraid of nato [2:20:51] putin's afraid of us very afraid of us and he's explained it to me a lot of times i got to know [2:20:56] him very well i know very well uh nato is a paper tiger nato is us and when we needed them but we [2:21:04] didn't need them by the way we didn't need them obviously because they haven't helped at all just the [2:21:09] opposite they've actually gone out of their way not to help they didn't even want to give us landing [2:21:14] strips he's great and pete all i can say is that uh he was treated very unfairly and now those same [2:21:22] people that treated him unfairly that fought against him they called me up saying what a great choice he [2:21:26] was they said well what happened uh during this nomination what happened to you i'm telling you [2:21:33] people that were not forum senators friends of mine sir i don't think you're doing the right thing [2:21:39] now they're calling me up what a choice these two guys are fantastic and john ratcliffe was [2:21:44] incredible it was actually their genius that called us from he was 40 miles away and he said you know [2:21:53] we're seeing something moving up in the mountain this is at night and they kept the camera on him for [2:22:00] 45 minutes he wasn't moving and they said you know probably wrong but we're seeing something moving this [2:22:06] is a mass vast mountain vast thick with bushes trees he said we see something moving 40 miles away [2:22:15] it was a the head of a human being i'm telling you it's moving and then all of a sudden 45 minutes [2:22:24] later he moved a lot stood up and they said we have him and that was really the beginning of something [2:22:32] incredible we had an idea where he was but not specifically that's a big mountain so uh i want to [2:22:40] thank the cia too i don't think they get enough credit for the great job they've done yes please [2:22:47] thank you very much mr president for this great opportunity country it has super army you make a [2:22:55] difference mr president thank you for your greatest leadership thank you i have two quick questions mr [2:23:02] president what was your reaction when you learned that kurdistan region had resumed exporting oil to the [2:23:10] international market with your support as united states of america well i expected that we've gotten [2:23:17] along with the kurds for a long time so i expected that another question what would what would be your [2:23:26] reaction if the iranian people rise up against their regime during a case fire mr president well they [2:23:35] should do it but again the consequences are great i mean they were told you if you protest you will [2:23:40] be shot immediately you saw what happened to the young wrestler he was a great champion by the way he was [2:23:46] a great wrestler one of the top in the world and he and his two friends were hung and all they did was [2:23:53] say a little bit about liberty they wanted liberty and they were violently executed but the number is up to [2:24:01] probably 45 000 people were killed so you know when somebody stays in a house when they know if they [2:24:07] walk out of the house to protest they'll be immediately shot and killed and they issued that [2:24:12] you know that was publicly issued it's not a secret that's why so many people say oh well why are [2:24:17] you doing this way we can't let iran have a nuclear weapon you know we got regime change we do we're [2:24:25] dealing with a much different regime than before we're dealing with different people they're smarter i think [2:24:31] they're sharper uh and far less radical we have regime change but uh we didn't do this for regime [2:24:39] change we did it for the fact and my my view is very simple i saw somebody said oh he doesn't have a [2:24:46] plan i have the best plan of all but i'm not going to tell you what my plan is you know they want me to [2:24:50] say here's my plan we're going to attack at 9 47 in the morning and then we're going to do this and [2:24:55] then we're going to and if you don't do that they say i have a plan these people know what the plan [2:25:00] is everybody here knows what the plan is but uh it's uh very unfair to say you know because i [2:25:06] don't mind being insulted i've been insulted for many years by the by the fake news but you can't [2:25:12] it's so bad for the for people that are so per you just saw two great and john ratliff three [2:25:19] unbelievable people they have a plan every every single thing has been thought out by all of us [2:25:24] but i can't reveal the plan to the media so you know but we're just thrilled by the success of [2:25:32] this operation yes please thank you mr president uh you've said iranians would be mad if you stopped [2:25:37] these attacks but why would they want you to blow up their infrastructure to cut off their power [2:25:41] wouldn't that be punishing iranians for the actions of the regime they would be willing just [2:25:46] they would be and it's suffering they would be willing to suffer that in order to have freedom [2:25:51] uh the iranians have and we've had numerous intercepts please keep bombing bombs that are [2:25:58] dropping near their homes please keep bombing do it and these are people that are living where the [2:26:06] bombs are exploding and when we leave and we're not hitting those areas they're saying please come [2:26:11] back come back come back these are the people i don't know what they do all i can tell you is they [2:26:18] want freedom they have lived in a world that you know nothing about it's a violent horrible world [2:26:27] where if you protest you are shot remember the great woman protest where they had 400 000 500 000 [2:26:33] women and they were all enthused and they were gonna protest and everybody said oh the regime is [2:26:38] gonna come to an end and then all of a sudden boom boom five six different areas a woman would go down [2:26:49] right between the eyes they had snipers they had five snipers that's all it took and those four or [2:26:55] five hundred thousand women said oh my god what's that oh look over there what's that a woman shot right [2:27:02] between the eyes and after five or six of them go down then you start hearing the purr through the [2:27:11] vast number of people and then they said oh my god who would do that and they're incredible people [2:27:19] but they've lived so horribly they've lived so horribly you know iran was a great country if you [2:27:24] go back 25 years ago or so uh the persian people they're incredible smart brilliant actually and i know [2:27:33] so many i know coming from new york originally i i know so many people from iran they're incredible people [2:27:39] incredible energy and and uh very very brilliant people and but when you're standing in a group and [2:27:46] protesting and you have a woman in the case of the woman remember the great woman march everybody [2:27:51] was like oh this is the end of the country and then snipers selectively picked every single one was [2:27:58] shot right between the eyes from a long distance they were on top of buildings nobody even knew where [2:28:04] they were where they're coming from this wasn't like a machine gun which is also very bad they've done [2:28:08] that too they did that recently this was snipers sitting on the top of buildings aiming and hitting women [2:28:18] and when they see people go down and all of a sudden there's a riot in the reverse direction and they [2:28:23] never came out again and a lot of the the news doesn't talk about they talk about oh women's rights [2:28:30] you want to see women's rights you're not going to see it there it's amazing when i see some of the [2:28:35] stupid people like you know aoc plus three all that group they talk about oh freedom for iran [2:28:41] they don't tell you the real facts women men gays how about gays for iran they kill the gays they [2:28:52] throw them off buildings so i wonder what what's going on i can only say this they want us to keep [2:28:59] bombing even if it jeopardized because their life is in much greater danger they want freedom for iran [2:29:05] but it's very hard for them to protest i actually tell them i said don't go out i fully understand [2:29:11] nobody in this room would go out i don't think there's anything because frankly it's not a [2:29:14] question of bravery we're all brave right you're brave i'm brave we're all brave but we're also [2:29:19] intelligent if you have people shooting at you expert shots with the best rifles you can get [2:29:28] and hitting you right between the eyes every single time and you're looking here and you're [2:29:32] seeing and you're looking here you're out of there i don't care who [2:29:35] are you going forward for president mark meredith fox news uh i know that oh thank you go ahead [2:29:42] america's watching uh no um can we go back to the weekend first off was everyone on board with [2:29:48] the operation or were there people that were trying to talk you out of going through with [2:29:51] the operation this weekend not everybody was on board somebody else within no there was military [2:29:56] people very professional that preferred not doing it these two were totally on board which was very [2:30:03] important they weren't i would have a little difficulty but uh no there were military people [2:30:08] that said you just don't do this you don't go into the heart of a very powerful military you know this [2:30:15] is hey you have countries and countries you have some countries where military is not there's the [2:30:20] wrong suit this whole thing is militarized like nobody's ever seen before half the people are wearing [2:30:25] uniforms uh and we had we had people within the military usually it's not done that's one of the [2:30:33] reasons you know i was surprised somebody said it's the only time it's ever been done i said that's not [2:30:37] possible but it is possible because you're going into hundreds of thousands of soldiers along the path [2:30:45] i mean look at some of the helicopters how they got hit so yeah there were people within the military [2:30:51] that said it's a wise and don't forget how many men did you send all together approximately for the [2:30:57] operation i'd love to keep that a secret okay well we are but i will tell you the number i'll keep it [2:31:05] a secret but it was hundreds and hundreds of these people that's pretty good is he central is he central [2:31:12] casting but hundreds of people went into this journey hundreds of people could have been killed [2:31:19] forget about the equipment a lot of equipment nobody cares hundreds of people could have been killed [2:31:25] so we had people that were within the military that said this is not a wise and i understood that [2:31:30] but i decided to do it was there a point that they were going to that you were thinking [2:31:35] there's too much on the line and somebody was saying maybe we abort this now and wait i mean [2:31:40] given the resource like the general said it seemed like there was so much on the line here you [2:31:44] must have been thinking well this could have completely changed so the first one [2:31:48] which was in many ways as dangerous as the second i guess it gets because we're flying over daylight [2:31:56] you know we're the best at the world at night we have goggles that nobody we have goggles i've tried [2:32:00] them unbelievable i see better with the goggles at night with then i see without them during daylight [2:32:06] i mean daylight today we have a beautiful day you see just as well with goggles in many ways it's enhanced [2:32:14] so we have the best in the world so it's much safer for us to for us to do it at night whereas other [2:32:20] people no other country has that capability they don't have the they don't have that particular [2:32:24] piece of equipment like we do but when i was told flying and in daylight i think we flew seven hours [2:32:33] over iran and that's a long time over unbelievably hostile territory where they have nothing but weapons [2:32:40] we took out their anti-aircraft which is great we took out their radar which is great we took out a [2:32:46] lot but they still have you know what hit this one was a shoulder handheld shoulder missile heat [2:32:52] seeking missile so it's not like you know they're totally whatever but but and they have probably a [2:32:59] little luck because you got to get lucky but they shot it and it got sucked in right by the engine but [2:33:05] these guys were out of there they were great their timing was great but no i was told that this is a [2:33:10] very uh dangerous mission i understand they didn't say it's a foolish mission they said you know we're [2:33:16] going to be sacrificing hundreds of people do this this is i mean you have tankers that are flying over [2:33:22] this area so that they because the flight was so long they had to refuel it's a very dangerous mission [2:33:29] i just felt it was worth it if you would have told me that we would have been successful gotten [2:33:33] both and nobody was even essentially injured i would have said that would be impossible yeah [2:33:39] mr president thank you very much uh thank you sir well i'll come back to you okay uh given that [2:33:44] you are now dealing you say with a more reasonable um less uh extreme leadership in iran what does [2:33:51] that mean for the protesters for the human rights movement in that country after this conflict what's [2:33:56] your yeah if they assume control if we do something and they assume control i think it's very positive a big [2:34:03] step uh i don't think you'd see the radicalization that you have seen in the last look what happened [2:34:09] i mean women are being executed because they're not properly clothed they say they're not properly [2:34:15] clothed and they execute the women they absolutely they shoot them right on the street uh no you have a [2:34:22] much different group of people now i'm not saying we are dealing with them uh essentially they have till [2:34:30] eight o'clock tomorrow night eastern time but we are dealing with them i think it's going well mr [2:34:35] whitkoff is here and jd is involved in the dealing mr whitkoff is sitting right here and i think it's [2:34:42] going fine but we'll have to see you have to understand we've been dealing with these people for 47 [2:34:48] years i'm standing here with a much more powerful iran as of a month ago not anymore right now they are [2:34:57] decapitated but i'm standing here a month ago with a much more powerful iran than it was at any point [2:35:04] during 47 years this should have been handled by seven presidents a lot of presidents and those [2:35:11] presidents are saying now every one of them to their friends we should have done this a long time ago so [2:35:18] it's not something i like doing it's very dangerous and we're getting them at the height of of their [2:35:24] strength if i didn't terminate the barack hussein obama iran nuclear deal they would have had a don't [2:35:31] forget that was a path to a nuclear weapon remember this he chose iran over israel pure and simple how [2:35:39] and how israel can vote for a democrat is if you're jewish in new york city or any place else in this [2:35:47] country and how you can vote for a democrat is unbelievable because he chose iran a very hostile [2:35:55] iran remember when he filled up a 757 with cash billions of dollars of cash and he sent it over [2:36:02] to them then they gave them tens of billions of dollars he chose iran over israel and really the [2:36:09] arab world if you look because you know the other saudi arabia qatar uae i mean you take a look i mean i [2:36:17] can add kuwait and i can add bahrain and you can add others he chose such an unlikely candidate [2:36:25] nobody could believe it frankly if you're going to choose between iraq and iran he should have chosen [2:36:30] he should have befriended iraq he went in the exact opposite direction of of all thinking and he made [2:36:39] a terrible mistake but that was a road to a nuclear weapon and when i terminated that everyone said oh he [2:36:46] terminated it it was one of the best things we ever did because he had a road to a nuclear weapon [2:36:50] and it was gonna it was a very short-term deal you know countries don't do 10-year deals countries [2:36:56] do hundreds of years you don't do a 10-year deal for a country you need this isn't you're a landlord [2:37:02] you're renting a store on on a certain street and you give somebody a five-year or 10-year lease [2:37:07] this is a country it was a short-term deal it was ready to expire i terminated it before it [2:37:14] expired took a lot of heat and it was one of the best things they ever did because he would have [2:37:17] had a nuclear weapon then he would have had another nuclear weapon had those beautiful b2 [2:37:22] bombers not gone in eight months ago and obliterated that said and by the way the word is obliteration [2:37:29] cnn said well maybe it wasn't complete it was so complete that they still haven't been able to get [2:37:34] it it was obliteration but if we didn't hit them that was a courageous decision too because we had [2:37:41] all those planes flying in at night with very little cover unbelievable stealth planes and they [2:37:47] were able to do their job if we didn't do that iran would have had a nuclear weapon at a high level [2:37:55] either one of those two instances and if they did in my opinion i told this to bb netanyahu yesterday [2:38:03] israel would have been extinguished large portions of the middle east would have been extinguished whether [2:38:10] it's saudi arabia qatar uae or others and you saw that with thousands of missiles raining down upon [2:38:18] them they didn't think they were going to be hit they thought they'd be watching us fight and all of [2:38:22] a sudden uae got hit by 1500 missiles he would have taken them out also and they were powerful if i [2:38:31] didn't come along and terminate the obama deal which was terrible the iran nuclear deal was a [2:38:36] a road to a nuclear weapon a big one unlimited legally i terminated it without even much thought [2:38:45] it was so easy i terminated that and then the b2 bombers and i did one other thing i had killed [2:38:54] kassam solemini who was an evil genius and the reason i did it i heard he was going to knock out [2:39:01] five of our military bases and had he lived i believe we would be fighting perhaps a different [2:39:12] iran right now because because he's never he's never been replaced you know and i also i did one [2:39:18] other but that this one was not picked up osama bin laden if you read my book i said you got to take [2:39:25] him out one year before the world trade center came down so i wish you'd read the book [2:39:29] but you as a president to be a good president i believe you have to have good instincts and a lot [2:39:39] of this is instinct yeah please thank you so much thank you mr president last week uh last week you [2:39:46] suggested that europe should take the lead on reopening the strait of harmuz uh has circumstances [2:39:51] changed now that you're issuing a direct 48 hour i mean 48 hour ultimatum and secondly would a new [2:39:58] new ceasefire include israel or would it just be between iran i can't talk about ceasefire but i [2:40:03] can tell you that we have a active willing participant on the other side they would like to be able to [2:40:11] make a deal i can't say any more than that you've listed the goals excuse me please go ahead thank you [2:40:20] mr president who you with who you with my name is d.r kurda i'm with the largest kritish media out [2:40:24] the true media network it's based in iran mr president you said before that you don't want [2:40:31] the kurdish forces to enter iran and be harmed do you still want them to stay away or what role do you [2:40:37] expect them to play now i'd rather have them stay away i'd rather have them stay away because i think [2:40:43] they bring with them some problems and some difficulties and i don't think they bring death [2:40:48] i mean you know to themselves but i'd rather have them stay away thank you mr president for the [2:40:57] question um deliberate attacks on civilian infrastructure violate the geneva kind of [2:41:02] conventions and international law who are you with i'm with the new york times zolan from the new york [2:41:06] times are you feeling the feeling are you concerned circulation way down at the new york times are you [2:41:11] concerned that your threat to bomb power plants and bridges amount no no no no i hope i don't have to [2:41:18] do it but again i just said 47 years they've been negotiating with these people they're great [2:41:24] negotiators and because they're not going to have a nuclear weapon and if somebody that takes my place [2:41:31] someday is weak and ineffective which possibly that will happen because we had numerous presidents that [2:41:38] were weak ineffective and afraid afraid of iran we're never going to let iran have a nuclear weapon [2:41:45] and if you think it's okay for people that are sick of mind that are tough smart and sick [2:41:53] really sick ideal uh you know from from a policy standpoint from a stamp any which way you want to [2:42:01] say mentally these are disturbed people if you think i'm going to allow them and powerful and rich [2:42:08] to have a nuclear weapon you can tell your friends at the new york times not going to happen [2:42:13] it means violating international law quiet quiet you no longer have credibility the new york times [2:42:22] because the new york times said oh trump won't win the election and i won in a landslide i won every [2:42:27] swing state new york times said oh trump won't win the election new york times has no credibility the [2:42:32] credibility they have is it used to be all the news that's fit to print a great the old gray lady it was [2:42:38] great but they're they're running on past fumes and you can't keep doing that you have to be able to [2:42:43] give the correct news and people like you who i know are fake you're fake go ahead please [2:42:51] your messaging on the war has moved from the war is coming to an end to we're going to be bombing [2:42:57] iran to the stone ages and we've heard a range of those kind of messages so are you so which is it [2:43:03] are you winding this down are you i can't tell you i don't know i can't tell it depends what they do [2:43:08] this is a critical period they have a period of well till tomorrow at eight o'clock i gave them [2:43:16] an extension they asked for an extension of seven days right i said steve give them 10 days 10 days is [2:43:26] up actually today so i gave them 11 i guess indirectly i thought it was inappropriate the day [2:43:30] after easter i want to be a nice person uh they have till tomorrow now we'll see what happens i can [2:43:38] tell you they're negotiating we think in good faith we're going to find out we're getting the help of [2:43:44] some incredible countries that want this to be ended because it affects them also a lot of people [2:43:50] are affected by this but we're giving them uh we're giving them till tomorrow eight o'clock eastern time [2:43:58] and after that they're going to have no bridges they're going to have no power plants stone ages [2:44:06] yeah cnn fake are you willing to make a deal that does not include reopening the strait of [2:44:18] or is that now a top priority i would say it's a very big priority because um see that's that's one [2:44:25] thing that's a little different than other than we can bomb the hell out of them we can knock them out [2:44:30] for a loop but to close the strait all you need is one terrorist that somehow has a truck loaded with [2:44:38] because you can carry them in trucks large trucks a water mine drop them in the water and now you tell [2:44:45] people that own ships that cost a billion dollars to don't worry about the mine you can do that even [2:44:50] just by saying we put mines in the water so it's not like the rest we can knock out their military we [2:44:56] already have we've knocked out their navy we've knocked out their air force completely we've [2:45:00] knocked out 158 ships in three days we've knocked out even their mind droppers they don't have any [2:45:06] mind droppers anymore but they put them on other boats and they could drop them i'm not even sure [2:45:11] they have any mines yet by the way i'm not sure i'm personally they say there might be eight i don't know [2:45:17] i don't know i think there might be none uh because they're very good bullshit artists that's why for 47 [2:45:23] years they've been bullshitting other presidents and they haven't done the job and people are living [2:45:28] in hell you live in that country they're living in hell no i think that uh 47 years of this stuff is [2:45:37] long enough they're at the weakest point they've ever been they have no navy they have no air force [2:45:44] they have no anti-aircraft weaponry they have no radar they have no communication in fact the biggest [2:45:50] problem we have in our negotiation is that they can't communicate i said to steve what are they [2:45:55] saying sir they can't communicate they have no method of communication so we're doing we're [2:46:01] communicating like they used to communicate 2 000 years ago with children bringing a note [2:46:06] back and forth they have no communication but all i want to see is i want to have a safe world [2:46:13] and you're not going to have a safe world israel will be gone the middle east will be gone and then [2:46:20] they're coming for europe and i have to tell you i'm very disappointed in nato very i think that [2:46:25] nato i think it's a mark on nato that will never disappear never disappear in my mind you know they're [2:46:31] coming to see me on wednesday they're going to say oh we'll do this we'll do that now they all of a [2:46:36] sudden want to send things you know but they said it loud and clear at the beginning when i spoke to uk [2:46:41] of all i would have said they would have been there first because they've been they're the oldest [2:46:46] and i said yeah i'd love to have a little help said no sir we'd rather wait till you win i said [2:46:52] i don't need help after we win they have two old broken aircraft carriers barely work i said i guess [2:46:58] we can use them who the hell knows i called the general he didn't even want he said we don't really [2:47:02] need them we got we got the ss abraham lincoln sir we don't need him you know we have in terms of [2:47:09] technology we had one day 101 missiles going at 2 700 miles an hour aimed at the abraham lincoln 101 [2:47:20] missiles out of 101 missiles 101 missiles were shot down unbelievable technology 10 years ago five years [2:47:30] ago i don't know if that would have been possible but 10 years ago that wouldn't have been that wouldn't [2:47:36] have been possible uh 101 missiles heading to a ship that's not that far off the coast and out of the [2:47:46] 101 missiles we shut down all 101 we have weaponry uh the patriots are unbelievable we have weaponry [2:47:54] that's unbelievable yeah go ahead please thank you mr president um you said earlier today during [2:48:03] the egg roll that you would like to take iran's oil but americans want u.s forces home correct what's that [2:48:10] trade if i had my choice if i had my choice yeah because i'm a businessman first with venezuela [2:48:18] as you know the war was over in about 45 minutes and we have great people running venezuela very good [2:48:25] people i mean the relationship is good and we are a partner with venezuela and we've taken hundreds of [2:48:33] millions of barrels hundreds of millions over 100 million barrels already is in houston refined and out [2:48:43] and paid paid for that war many many times over many times you know the old days to the victim [2:48:50] okay you know that to the uh to the winner belong the spoils go the spoils and i've said why don't [2:48:58] we use it to the victor go the spoils and we don't have that we haven't had that in this country probably [2:49:04] in 100 years because even the second world war you look at the second world war we didn't have it with [2:49:09] the second world we helped rebuild all those countries we rebuilt germany how about germany [2:49:13] telling us germany telling us that uh well it's not their war we had nothing to do with get they [2:49:21] wanted me to go and tell them everything i was doing we didn't know anything about it well if i [2:49:26] would have told them they would have leaked it and we wouldn't have been nearly as successful [2:49:30] possibly right but to the victor belong the spoils so we haven't heard we haven't heard that in i think [2:49:38] maybe hundreds of years now with venezuela and we just so you understand the people of venezuela [2:49:44] they say if i ran for president of venezuela i'm polling higher than anybody has ever polled in [2:49:51] venezuela so after i'm finished with this i can go to venezuela i will quickly learn spanish it won't [2:49:56] take too long i'm good at language and i will go to venezuela i'm going to run for president but we're [2:50:01] very happy with the president-elect that we have right now the the the people that are running it [2:50:08] if you remember bush with iraq they fired the generals they fired the police they fired the [2:50:14] people that worked in their equivalent of the white house they fired everybody and you know what they [2:50:19] had they had a mess and you know what happened isis formed those generals and those soldiers got [2:50:25] together the police got together they all got together they formed isis not going to happen with us [2:50:30] so venezuela has been an incredible it's been an incredible situation we went in we were very [2:50:37] successful military power like nobody's ever seen the general uh venezuelan general said i was on that [2:50:44] site i said i've never seen ferocity like that i've been doing this for 40 years he said i've never seen [2:50:50] it they they hit us from 17 different it was they were all set they saw that big beautiful aircraft [2:50:57] carrier the ford in that case and planes were pouring off it at one o'clock in the morning so [2:51:03] typically when you see that late at night you know you could be in trouble right and we were already [2:51:12] they had their equipment it was russian and they had chinese equipment it was all set they were going [2:51:16] to give us a fight he said and then they came and they came at speeds like we've never seen and they came [2:51:24] at 17 different angles the general and his people that was a lot of angles they hit him from every [2:51:30] angle he said we knew it was over in three minutes we were waiting for him their equipment didn't work [2:51:39] and there's a reason it didn't work someday we'll explain that to people they pressed the button [2:51:44] nothing happened they pressed it again and again nothing happened and he said we knew this whole thing [2:51:50] was over in three minutes we've never seen any he used the word ferocity the ferocity of these planes [2:51:57] from 17 different angles and it was over they went inside and remember that was on a military base with [2:52:02] thousands of soldiers and those soldiers looked and they said get the hell out of here thousands [2:52:09] we didn't have thousands we had like 200 people so we have a great military and i'll tell you what [2:52:16] somehow this rescue captured the world's attention more so than normally you're talking about two [2:52:23] people but this rescue captured the world's attention but we did it in venezuela that was amazing and now [2:52:31] we have a very bad man in prison and going to trial i mean he he released aside from the drugs which [2:52:38] he was terrible maduro released hundreds of thousands of people from jails into our country drug dealers [2:52:47] murderers the worst people in the world were released into our country because we had a [2:52:52] stupid precedent who probably didn't know and we had a border czar who never went to the border [2:52:58] and never once called our great border patrol agents right not once kamala she never called the [2:53:03] border patrol she never said how are we doing i used to call the border patrol guys every day you [2:53:08] can ask them paul ask any one of them brandon ask them all the time how are we doing how are we doing [2:53:14] and we now i'm proud to say have a totally sealed border nine months nobody is coming through our [2:53:19] but and nobody even tries because they know they're not going to get through so we don't have caravans [2:53:23] anymore so maybe one or two more and we'll be done mr president are you allowed to are you willing [2:53:32] to end this conflict with iran charging tolls for passage through the street uh us charging tolls iran [2:53:40] what about us charging tolls is that something you're considering i'd rather do that than let [2:53:45] them have them run why shouldn't we we're the winner we won okay they are militarily defeated [2:53:52] the only thing they have is the psychology of oh we're going to drop a couple of [2:53:56] mines in the water all right no we i mean we have a concept where we'll charge tolls okay i thought you [2:54:02] meant your question your question your question would your question would have been more accurate [2:54:08] if you said just to clarify in order for iran to successfully meet your deadline tomorrow [2:54:15] do they have to make a deal open the street or both we have to have a deal that's acceptable to me [2:54:22] and part of that deal is going to be we want free traffic of oil and everything [2:54:27] mr president thank you very much you've said glory be to god in this conflict do you believe that god [2:54:37] supports the united states actions i do because god is good because god is good and god wants to see [2:54:44] people taken care of god doesn't like what's happening i don't like what's happening everyone [2:54:49] says i enjoy i don't enjoy this i don't enjoy these two guys don't enjoy it you know people say oh boy [2:54:55] they're so tough they don't want they don't like i don't like seeing people killed i've ended eight [2:55:00] wars nobody's ever done it the person who won the nobel prize came to me and said you deserve the [2:55:07] nobel prize she announced that when they announced they said goes to maria she's a great person really [2:55:13] a good person she said no no no this is ridiculous they gave me the nobel prize president trump ended [2:55:21] eight wars i could go over every one of them including india and pakistan where the prime minister [2:55:26] pakistan said president trump saved from 30 to 50 million lives that makes me much happier than what [2:55:35] we're doing right now that makes me much happier we have one more to end by the way you called the [2:55:46] yesterday in your truth social you called the iranians crazy bastards true um what is your response [2:55:52] to critics who say that i don't care about what is your response to critics who say that is your mental [2:55:57] health that should perhaps be examined as this war continues i haven't heard that but if that's the case [2:56:02] you're going to have to have more people like me because our country was being ripped off on trade [2:56:07] or in everything for many years until i came along so if that's the case you're going to have to have [2:56:13] more people josh you go ahead josh you said that very little is off limits in iran as far as targeting [2:56:20] including power plants bridges you've mentioned those very little is often are there certain kinds [2:56:24] of civilian targets though i'm thinking i don't want to tell you that i don't want to tell you that [2:56:29] we have we have we have a plan because of the power of our military where every bridge in iran [2:56:38] will be decimated by 12 o'clock tomorrow night where every power plant in iran will be out of business [2:56:48] burning exploding and never to be used again i mean complete demolition by 12 o'clock and it'll happen [2:56:55] over a period of four hours if we wanted to we don't want that to happen we may even get involved [2:57:01] with helping them rebuild their nation and you know what if that's the case the last thing we want [2:57:07] to do is start with power plants which are among the most expensive thing and bridges you saw the [2:57:12] bridge the bridge one we were very close to a deal and then i got a call from mr whitkov mr kushner [2:57:21] and jd saying i think they're breaking the deal i said tell them that's okay don't worry about it [2:57:29] but tell them to look out their window and watch and within 45 minutes i gave the order to knock out [2:57:36] the biggest bridge i gave the order knock out the biggest bridge in i believe the middle east but the [2:57:42] biggest bridge in iran and within 10 minutes after i gave that order that bridge was was over so so do i [2:57:52] want to do that no do i want to destroy their infrastructure no it will take them a hundred [2:57:58] years to rebuild right now if we left today it would take them 20 years to rebuild their country [2:58:05] and it would never be as good as it was and the only way they're going to be able to rebuild their [2:58:09] country is to utilize the genius of the united states of america voice your displeasure with nato [2:58:19] in the past is there a danger to the us not being the de facto of the leader of the alliance and then [2:58:25] other powers within the alliance than getting the decision making when it comes to wars and nuclear [2:58:31] weapons no it's not a danger nato's look we went to nato i didn't ask very strongly i just said hey [2:58:37] if you want to help great no no no we will not help i said that's all right you don't want to help [2:58:43] because i've always said nato is a paper tiger see nato is a paper tiger putin's not afraid of nato [2:58:50] putin's afraid of us very afraid of us and he's explained it to me a lot of times i got to know him [2:58:55] very well i know him very well uh nato's a paper tiger nato is us and when we needed them but we [2:59:02] didn't need them by the way we didn't need them obviously because they haven't helped at all [2:59:08] just the opposite they've actually gone out of their way not to help they didn't even want to [2:59:12] give us landing strips he's great and pete all i can say is that uh he was treated very unfairly [2:59:19] and now those same people that treated him unfairly that fought against him they called me up saying [2:59:24] what a great choice he was they said well what happened uh during this nomination what happened [2:59:29] to you i'm telling you people that were not forum senators friends of mine sir i don't think you're [2:59:36] doing the right thing now they're calling me up what a choice these two guys are fantastic and john [2:59:42] ratcliffe was incredible it was actually their genius that called us from he was 40 miles away and [2:59:51] he said you know we're seeing something moving up in the mountain this is at night and they kept the [2:59:57] camera on him for 45 minutes he wasn't moving and they said you know probably wrong but we're seeing [3:00:03] something moving this is a mass vast mountain vast thick with bushes trees he said we see something [3:00:12] moving 40 miles away it was a the head of a human being i'm telling you it's moving and then all of a [3:00:21] sudden 45 minutes later he moved a lot stood up and they stood way half of him and that was really [3:00:30] at the beginning of something incredible we had an idea where he was but not specifically that's a big [3:00:35] mountain so uh i want to thank the cia too i don't think they get enough credit for the great job they've [3:00:43] done yes please thank you very much mr president for this great opportunity country it has super army [3:00:53] you make a difference mr president thank you for your greatest leadership thank you i have a two [3:00:59] quick questions mr president what was your reaction when you learned that kurdistan region had resumed [3:01:07] exporting oil to the international market with your support as united states of america well i expected [3:01:15] that we've gotten along with the kurds for a long time so i expected that another question what would [3:01:22] what would what would be your reaction if the iranian people rise up against their regime during a case [3:01:31] fire mr president well they should do it but again the consequences are great i mean they were told you [3:01:37] if you protest you will be shot immediately you saw what happened to the young wrestler he was a great [3:01:43] champion by the way he was a great wrestler one of the top in the world and he and his two friends were [3:01:48] hung and all they did was say a little bit about liberty they wanted liberty and they were violently [3:01:57] executed but the number is up to probably 45 000 people were killed so you know when somebody stays [3:02:04] in a house when they know if they walk out of the house to protest they'll be immediately shot and killed [3:02:09] and they issued that you know that was publicly issued it's not a secret that's why so many people say [3:02:15] oh well why are you doing this way we can't let iran have a nuclear weapon you know we got regime [3:02:22] change we do we're dealing with a much different regime than before we're dealing with different [3:02:26] people they're smarter i think they're sharper and far less radical we have regime change but [3:02:36] we didn't do this for regime change we did it for the fact and my my view was very simple i saw [3:02:42] somebody said oh he doesn't have a plan i have the best plan of all but i'm not going to tell you what my [3:02:47] plan is you know they want me to say here's my plan we're going to attack at 9 47 in the morning and [3:02:52] then we're going to do this and then we're going to and if you don't do that they say i have a plan [3:02:57] these people know what the plan is everybody here knows what the plan is but uh it's very unfair to [3:03:04] say we're because i don't mind being insulted i've been insulted for many years by the by the fake [3:03:08] news but you can't it's so bad for the for people that are so per you just saw two great and john [3:03:16] ratcliffe three unbelievable people they have a plan every every single thing has been thought [3:03:22] out by all of us but i can't reveal the plan to the media so you know but we're just thrilled by [3:03:29] the success of this operation yes please thank you mr president uh you've said iranians would be mad [3:03:34] if you stopped these attacks but why would they want you to blow up their infrastructure to cut [3:03:39] off their power wouldn't that be punishing iranians for the actions of the regime they would be willing [3:03:44] just they would be well and it's suffering they would be willing to suffer that in order to have [3:03:49] freedom uh the iranians have and we've had numerous intercepts please keep bombing bombs that are dropping [3:03:57] near their homes please keep bombing do it and these are people that are living where the bombs are [3:04:05] exploding and when we leave and we're not hitting those areas they're saying please come back come back [3:04:10] come back these are the people i don't know what they do all i can tell you is they want freedom [3:04:18] they have lived in a world that you know nothing about it's a violent horrible world where if you [3:04:25] protest you are shot remember the great woman protests where they had 400 000 500 000 women and [3:04:32] they were all in twos and they were gonna protest and everybody said oh the regime's gonna come to an [3:04:37] end and then all of a sudden boom boom five six different areas a woman would go down right between [3:04:48] the eyes they had snipers they had five snipers that's all it took and those four or five hundred [3:04:54] thousand women said oh my god what's that oh look over there what's that a woman shot right between [3:05:01] the eyes and after five or six of them go down then you start hearing the purr through the [3:05:08] the vast number of people and then they said oh my god who would do that and they're incredible [3:05:17] people but they've lived so horribly they've lived so horribly you know iran was a great country if you [3:05:23] go back 25 years ago or so uh the persian people the they're incredible smart brilliant actually and i [3:05:32] know so many i know coming from new york originally i i know so many people from iran they're incredible [3:05:37] people incredible energy and and uh very very brilliant people and but when you're standing [3:05:44] in a group and protesting and you have a woman in the case of the woman remember the great woman [3:05:48] march everybody was like oh this is the end of the country and then snipers selectively picked [3:05:56] every single one was shot right between the eyes from a long distance they were on top of buildings [3:06:02] nobody even knew where they were where they're coming from this wasn't like a machine gun which is [3:06:05] also very bad they've done that too they did that recently this was snipers sitting on the top of [3:06:13] buildings aiming and hitting women and when they see people go down and all of a sudden there's a riot [3:06:20] in the reverse direction and they never came out again and a lot of the the news doesn't talk about [3:06:26] they talk about oh women's rights you want to see women's rights you're not going to see it there [3:06:31] it's amazing when i see some of the stupid people like you know aoc plus three all that group they [3:06:37] talk about oh freedom for iran they don't tell you the real facts women men gays how about gays for iran [3:06:48] they kill the gays they throw them off buildings so i wonder what what's going on i can only say this [3:06:56] they want us to keep bombing even if it jeopardized because their life is in much greater danger they [3:07:02] want freedom for iran but it's very hard for them to protest i actually tell them i said don't go out [3:07:07] i fully understand nobody in this room would go out i don't think there's anything because frankly [3:07:12] it's not a question of bravery we're all brave right you're brave i'm brave we're all brave but we're [3:07:17] also intelligent if you have people shooting at you expert shots with the best rifles you can get [3:07:26] and hitting you right between the eyes every single time and you're looking here and you're seeing [3:07:31] and you're looking here you're out of there i don't care who it is mark meredith fox news uh i know that [3:07:40] go ahead america's watching uh no um can we go back to the weekend first off was everyone on board with [3:07:46] the operation or were there people that were trying to talk you out of going through with the operation [3:07:50] this weekend not everybody was on board somebody else within no there was military people very [3:07:55] professional that preferred not doing it these two were totally important which was very important [3:08:03] they weren't it had a little difficulty but uh no there were military people that said you just don't [3:08:08] do this you don't go into the heart of a very powerful military you know this is hey you have [3:08:14] countries and countries you have some countries where military is not there's the wrong suit this whole [3:08:19] thing is militarized like nobody's ever seen before half the people are wearing uniforms [3:08:24] uh and no we had we had people within the military usually it's not done that's one of the reasons you [3:08:32] know i was surprised somebody said it's the only time it's ever been done i said that's not possible [3:08:36] but it is possible because you're going into hundreds of thousands of soldiers along the path [3:08:43] i mean look at some of the helicopters how they got hit so yeah there were people within the military that [3:08:50] said it's a wise and don't forget how many men did you send all together approximately uh for the [3:08:56] operation i'd love to keep that a secret okay well we are but i will tell you the number i'll keep it [3:09:03] a secret but it was hundreds and hundreds of these people that's pretty good is he central is he central [3:09:10] casting but hundreds of people went into this journey hundreds of people could have been killed forget [3:09:17] about the equipment a lot of equipment nobody cares hundreds of people could have been killed [3:09:23] so we had people that were within the military that said this is not a wise and i understood that [3:09:28] but i decided to do it was there a point that they were going to that you were thinking there's too [3:09:34] much on the line and somebody was saying maybe we abort this now and wait i mean given the resources [3:09:39] like the general said it seemed like there was so much on the line here you must have been thinking [3:09:43] this could have completely changed so the first one which was in many ways as dangerous as the [3:09:50] second i guess it gets because we're flying over daylight you know we're the best at the world at [3:09:56] night we have goggles that nobody we have goggles i've tried to make them unbelievable i see better [3:10:01] with the goggles at night with than i see without them during daylight i mean daylight today we have [3:10:06] a beautiful day you see just as well with goggles in many ways it's enhanced so we have the best in [3:10:13] the world so it's much safer for us to for us to do it at night whereas other people no other country [3:10:20] has that capability they don't have the they don't have that particular piece of equipment like we do [3:10:25] but when i was told flying and in daylight i think we flew seven hours over iran and that's a long time [3:10:33] over unbelievably hostile territory where they have nothing but weapons we took out their anti-aircraft which [3:10:41] is great we took out their radar which is great we took out a lot but they still have you know what [3:10:46] hit this one was a shoulder handheld shoulder missile heat-seeking missile so it's not like you [3:10:52] know they're totally whatever but but and they probably a little luck because you got to get lucky but they [3:11:01] shot it and it got sucked in right by the engine but these guys were out of there they were great [3:11:05] the timing was great but no i was told that this is a very uh dangerous mission i understand they [3:11:12] didn't say it's a foolish mission they said you know we're going to be sacrificing hundreds of people [3:11:17] do this this is i mean you have tankers that are flying over this area so that because the flight was [3:11:22] so long they had to refuel it's a very dangerous mission i just felt it was worth it if you would have [3:11:29] told me that we would have been successful gotten both and nobody was even essentially injured i would [3:11:35] have said that would be impossible yeah mr president thank you very much thank you sir we'll come back [3:11:41] to you okay uh given that you are now dealing you say with a more reasonable um less uh extreme [3:11:48] leadership in iran what does that mean for the protesters for the human rights movement in that [3:11:53] country after this conflict what's your yeah if they assume control if we do something [3:11:59] and they assume control i think it's very positive a big step uh i don't think you'd see the [3:12:03] radicalization that you have seen in the last look what happened i mean women are being executed [3:12:10] because they're not properly clothed they say they're not properly clothed and they execute the [3:12:15] women they absolutely they shoot them right on the street uh no you have a much different group of [3:12:21] people now i'm not saying we are dealing with them uh essentially they have till eight o'clock [3:12:29] tomorrow night eastern time but we are dealing with them i think it's going well mr whitkoff is here [3:12:34] and jd's involved in the dealing mr whitkoff is sitting right here and i think it's going fine but [3:12:41] we'll have to see you have to understand we've been dealing with these people for 47 years i'm standing [3:12:48] here with a much more powerful iran as of a month ago not anymore right now they are decapitated but i'm [3:12:57] standing here a month ago with a much more powerful iran than it was at any point during 47 years [3:13:04] this should have been handled by seven presidents a lot of presidents and those presidents are saying [3:13:11] now every one of them to their friends we should have done this a long time ago so it's not something [3:13:17] i like doing it's very dangerous and we're getting them at the height of of their strength [3:13:23] if i didn't terminate the barack hussein obama iran nuclear deal they would have had a don't [3:13:29] forget that was a path to a nuclear weapon remember this he chose iran over israel pure and simple how [3:13:38] how israel can vote for a democrat is if you're jewish in new york city or any place else in this [3:13:45] country and how you can vote for a democrat is unbelievable because he chose iran a very hostile [3:13:53] iran remember when he filled up a 757 with cash billions of dollars of cash and he sent it over [3:14:00] to them then they gave them tens of billions of dollars he chose iran over israel and really [3:14:07] the arab world if you look because you know the other saudi arabia qatar uae i mean you take a look [3:14:15] i mean i can add kuwait and i can add bahrain and you can add others he chose such an unlikely [3:14:22] candidate nobody could believe it frankly if you're going to choose between iraq and iran he should [3:14:28] have chosen he should have befriended iraq he went in the exact opposite direction of of all thinking [3:14:37] and he made a terrible mistake but that was a road to a nuclear weapon and when i terminated that [3:14:43] everyone said oh he terminated it it was one of the best things we ever did because he had a road [3:14:48] to a nuclear weapon and it was gonna it was a very short-term deal you know countries don't do 10-year [3:14:54] deals countries do hundreds of years you don't do a 10-year deal for a country you need this isn't [3:15:00] you're a landlord you're renting a store on on a certain street and you give somebody a five-year [3:15:05] or ten-year lease this is a country it was a short-term deal it was ready to expire [3:15:10] i terminated it before it expired took a lot of heat and it was one of the best things they ever [3:15:15] did because he would have had a nuclear weapon then he would have had another nuclear weapon [3:15:19] had those beautiful b2 bombers not gone in eight months ago and obliterated that said and by the [3:15:25] way the word is obliteration cnn said well maybe it wasn't complete it was so complete that they still [3:15:31] haven't been able to get it it was obliteration but if we didn't hit them that was a courageous [3:15:38] decision too because we had all those planes flying in at night with very little
