[0:00] Independence takes courage. Let's check out your independence and your courage. [0:04] Did Donald Trump lose the 2020 election? [0:09] We try to keep politics if I'm confirmed out of the federal. [0:12] I'm just asking. [0:14] There isn't just a network of bootlickers who want to be close to Donald Trump, [0:19] who are in the government or attempt to be, who aspire to be. There's also a network of [0:27] these same kind of just ass-lick sycophants in the media. And this story involves both categories. [0:38] Elizabeth Warren yesterday interviewed during a Senate confirmation committee hearing [0:45] Kevin Warsh is his name. When you're from an area like Northern Idaho where creeks are called cricks [0:52] and washing your clothes is called washing your clothes, it's an anxiety thing. It's like growing [0:59] up poor and not liking to have, you know, the style now, which I know this is an aside, but [1:05] the style is to have like short pants. But when you're, when you're a tall guy and you were a [1:09] tall kid in high school, but poor, you didn't like to have a high waters because it, it signaled your [1:14] poorness. So when I said Warsh, it just, it grated my ears. That's why the hesitance. So Kevin Warsh [1:24] and Elizabeth Warren in committee and Elizabeth Warren really just highlight, this should be the [1:29] litmus test question for any nominee for Donald Trump. It's, do you believe Donald Trump won the [1:34] 2020 election? Who won the 2020? It's an easy question. It's a fact-based question. It's like, [1:40] is Disneyland an amusement park in California? That, well, I don't want to get political. [1:46] What do I want to get political here? And that was his answer when asked who won the 2020 election. [1:52] They always do this weird subterfuge and distraction. And they're trying to get around the question. Well, [1:58] he was, uh, Joe Biden was certified. Yep. Yeah. That was certified. Joe Biden was president. Yeah. [2:03] But who won the election? That's the question. And the fact that they won't answer it directly [2:08] tells you everything you need to know about who they are, who they're loyal to. And, and Elizabeth [2:14] Warren does a bang up job here of asking this question, drilling down on this and highlighting [2:19] that Kevin Warsh is the bootlicker who will just do whatever Donald Trump wants. Cause if he's doing [2:27] this in committee already, how do you think he's going to act once he is on the federal reserve board? [2:35] Watch this. And then we'll get to the other element of these bootlickers in the media on, uh, CNBC with [2:42] Sarah Eisen. First though, Kevin Warsh himself. I'll take that as I would be redeeming my assets [2:49] before I take office. So Donald Trump has made clear that he does not want an independent fed. [2:53] In fact, he has said, and I quote, anybody that disagrees with me will never be fed chairman. And [3:00] he's made clear that you are his sock puppet saying last week that interest rates will drop quote, [3:06] when Kevin gets in. Yeah, I think they do not when economic conditions change, we'll get lower rates, [3:13] not when the economy needs it. Nope. He said, when my guy, Kevin Warsh is in there, [3:19] we'll get the interest rates that I Donald Trump wants. So independence takes courage. Let's check out [3:26] your independence and your courage. We'll start easy. Mr. Warsh, did Donald Trump lose the 2020 election? [3:35] We try to keep politics if I'm confirmed out of the federal. [3:38] I'm just asking you a factual question. I need to know, I need to measure your independence and [3:43] your courage. Senator, I believe that this body certified that election many years ago. [3:48] That's not the question I'm asking. I'm asking, did Donald Trump lose in 2020? [3:52] Man, I'm suggesting you in 2020, the Fed made a huge inflation problem and you certified the election. [3:59] So let me ask you another question in our meeting. Try to keep politics out of it. What are you talking? [4:06] It's not politics to say who won the election? Last night, a voter initiative passed in Virginia. [4:16] It's not political to say that the yes vote on that measure won. It's not political to say Donald [4:24] Trump won the 2016 election against Hillary Clinton. That's not political. That's history, brother. [4:33] And the fact that you don't understand that makes me question your qualification for the role. [4:40] What else do you think is political? That absolutely is not. Now, Elizabeth Warren went on CNBC to talk [4:48] about this particular moment or to talk about him in general and what he stands for and what he [4:54] intends to do if confirmed. And he was attacked by the anchor on CNN who said it was a bit of a trap. [5:03] Asking who won the election in 2020 was a trap, according to Sarah Eisen, the undercover MAGA wannabe, [5:14] I guess. Watch this and marvel with me at the bootlick nature of people who have no... [5:23] What's the benefit of ass-kissing Donald Trump when you're a host of a program on CNBC? [5:30] To be independent and not influenced by the president, I think it was a bit of a trap to ask him to [5:35] about the election, you know, denial, to get him to disagree with President Trump. You know, [5:40] no Fed chair is going to weigh in on politics like that and the election results. [5:45] So, look, I asked him a fact, but here's the deal. I asked Kevin Warsh when he was in my office a week [5:53] ago, how would I know you're independent? Tell me about you. Tell me how you're going to be [6:00] independent. You know what he told me? He said, I'm a tough guy. I am the guy who can stand up to [6:05] Donald Trump. Okay. You can look him in the eye and say something Donald Trump doesn't want to hear. [6:12] So I tested that. Who won the 2020 election? Nope. Couldn't say anything. I said, okay, [6:18] let me just open it up. Just tell me something in the economic area that you disagree with Donald [6:26] Trump on. You think he might just, just the tiniest place where Donald Trump might be wrong. [6:31] But for Fed chairs to disagree with politicians and presidents, that threatens they're very [6:36] independent if he were to do that. Jim Collins wouldn't do that. Janet Yellen wouldn't do that. [6:43] If we have a Fed chair who is listening to a president of the United States who said, [6:49] oh, tariffs don't cost anything. Oh, blockade in the Strait of Hormuz does not raise prices. [6:55] Oh, prices are not going up. We have a president who thinks he can bend reality. [7:02] We need a Fed chair who can actually assert reality. That was the test I was looking for. [7:09] Kevin Warsh can't do it. That's it. That is it. Elizabeth Warren nailed it. Unsurprisingly, [7:17] unshocking. She nailed it. We need someone who exists and operates in the same reality as the rest of us. [7:26] And if he is that detached from reality or willing to act like he's that detached from reality, [7:33] we got a real big problem. We are a huge country with great problems that we need to solve together. [7:42] And if we can't agree on the basics of the basics of the basics, then we are not in partnership in [7:53] governance. And Kevin Warsh isn't up to the task. Just like the man who named him to be this position, [8:03] Donald Trump. Donald Trump is just as unhinged. Listen, if you're taking your marching orders [8:10] from a demented lunatic with memory problems, mental illness, and you're taking those marching orders [8:19] at face value, we got a real big problem, Kevin Warsh. And I'm glad I am proud to be a member of the [8:30] same party as Elizabeth Warren, who endeavors to stand against this absolute nonsense. It is a bit [8:39] of a trap. I guess I should have said more about Sarah Eisen, but I'm done. I would love your feedback. [8:48] Let's talk about this in the comments below. You can also call the voicemail line 714-576-4054.
