because [0:28] the united states can't take care of daycare that has to be up to a state we can't take care of [0:34] daycare we're a big country we have 50 states we have all these other people we're fighting wars [0:39] we can't take care of daycare you got to let a state take care of daycare and they should pay for [0:45] it too they should pay they have to raise their taxes but they should pay for it and we could lower [0:50] our taxes a little bit to them to make up but we it's not possible for us to take care of daycare [0:57] medicaid medicare all these individual things they can do it on a state basis you can't do it on a [1:03] federal we have to take care of one thing military protection we have to guard the country but all [1:08] these little things all these little scams that have taken place all you have to you have to let [1:14] states take care of them russell and you have to do it uh linda mcmahon she's done such a great job [1:20] she's moved education back to the states and you know what you need congressional approval i said don't [1:27] worry about it just do it she did it they're largely back in the states we have all these buildings empty [1:34] education building where is linda she's not here right but i'll tell you let her know i said it [1:39] i left that last part on there because i think it's important and instructive that donald trump [1:44] does understand that the constitution prohibits him dismantling organizations and entities within [1:51] the structure of the government that were formed created by congress that the president does not have [1:58] the authority under the constitution to do that he knows it he just said as much and he said i just [2:03] told her just to do it because he does view himself as a king he does view himself as a sovereign as [2:09] a leader who is untouched who is unburdened by trying to coordinate or or negotiate or work with a [2:19] co-equal branch of government but this whole entire narrative that we're a big country we have 50 states [2:26] all these people we don't have enough money because we're fighting wars i promised we wouldn't be in [2:31] i thought it wasn't a war just a military action just it's just an operation epic fury but we don't [2:40] have money to feed hungry children we don't have money for daycare we don't have money for these [2:45] little individual scams like medicaid and medicare this this coming from the man by the way who like [2:53] i said one won't shut the up about the america being the most powerful the richest the greatest whatever [2:59] but also donald trump promised that he would pay off the national debt in fact just two days ago or so [3:06] was the 10-year anniversary of donald trump promising in an interview with the washington post with bob [3:12] woodward that he would pay off the entire national debt at the time in four years the elon musks the bill [3:20] gates's the warren buffets the the jeff bezos's the larry ellison the david ellison's the donald [3:29] trump's these types are getting let off the hook at the expense of people who desperately need a [3:38] hand up in our society people whose lives could be inextricably made better with just a small [3:47] investment that now we don't have the money for because donald trump wants to gut daycare and [3:54] medicaid and medicare snap benefits a guy who's never gone hungry other than in between big max [4:03] when his tum starts grumbling never gone hungry never faced what that's like and republicans cheer [4:11] the christians who ostensibly follow the preachings and practices and philosophies of jesus who talked [4:20] more about the poor and taking care of the sick and the infirmed and the oppressed than anything else [4:26] they worship at the throne of this man donald trump remember this the man is saved but he's anointed [4:32] with a kind of almost like a gift of wisdom for being able to navigate america through the crisis [4:39] it's in but he's a baby christian and he's like at times he's 2 a.m in the morning i always look when [4:45] does he post it 2 a.m he's cranky he's irritated he's on the phone and then he's having a fight with [4:51] pope leo who he knows is meeting with axelrod and meeting with democrats and then using his vatican [4:57] to critique the immigration issue in america and and he never said anything about the nuclear [5:03] threat of iran but the pope has a comment about any kind of violence that's there and trump basically [5:09] said that's it i'm actually doing more for jesus in the church than you are knucklehead and he point [5:15] and i my opinion he pictured himself as doing more than the other guy who's supposed to be in charge of [5:21] the catholic church but it backfired because this isn't his line of country he doesn't quite know [5:27] how to meme because of the hypersensitivities of uh christians in particular which is ironic [5:33] hypersensitivities of christians you're just being sensitive that donald trump depicted himself as a a a [5:44] an adequate substitute for jesus christ quit being sensitive he's a baby christian all he did was say [5:55] i'm a lot like jesus that's what this says to him that this image is trump saying i i'm a lot like [6:03] jesus i super respect jesus guys not that i am jesus not that people are literally praying to me [6:10] in the the ai the second coming means jesus is going to return a triumphant rapture [7:45] where every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that jesus christ is lord this is what is drilled [7:52] in to the heads of people like me as a child and he believes donald trump not jesus in a rapture is [8:03] the second coming i believe that donald trump is uh is uh better than sliced bread i think he's [8:10] he's he's almost a second coming in my humble opinion i think he's done a fantastic job he's [8:14] got a very difficult job pope's got a tough job you know got issues in the church but donald trump [8:19] has a very very difficult job to do the toughest job in the world yeah let that one sink in or let [8:28] this one sink in this is sean hannity just a a couple of days ago declaring to to make it an [8:34] announcement at the end of his show a message to the pope himself that he's choosing donald trump [8:41] over his own religion john hannity quit the catholic church because of donald trump this is an infection [8:51] watch this now i do want to shift gears with a message to the vatican tonight specifically to [8:57] pope leo who has openly condemned america's war in iran while seemingly enjoying a public fight with [9:04] president trump first let me give some context um like millions of americans i was raised catholic i [9:10] went to catholic school for 12 years i even attended a seminary in high school studied theology latin went [9:16] to mass daily i got a lot out of it my parents they were devout catholics and while i was wasn't [9:21] particularly engaged at the time in the teachings of the catholic church as a young person it certainly [9:27] entered my consciousness and made me a better person and has been a positive force in my life [9:32] in so many ways but as of today i no longer consider myself a catholic you do you sean you do you if your [9:41] religion meant so little to you that you will jettison it for the likes of the grifting charlatan liar [9:49] and heathen and pig donald trump you can you can deal with your lord and savior or whatever uh however [10:00] you want to brother if it's something you believe it's going to be on you to make that case when you [10:06] face your maker but let me tell you donald trump's not going to be there when you're answering i don't [10:16] understand how donald trump has this this hypnotic hold over these people who have claimed for decades [10:24] and decades that that the the the bible was their north star the bible was their guiding light that [10:32] the gospel of jesus christ was the only way to heaven that i am the truth the way the truth and [10:40] the life no man cometh unto the father but by me jesus said that apparently that doesn't matter to sean [10:47] hannity because trump is the way the truth and the life no man cometh unto whatever without him no man [10:56] cometh under unknowable wealth and power and influence in american politics without donald trump [11:01] and the republican party that is now the supplanted message the new gospel for republicans it just amazes [11:09] me that there's not more support out there it's just we actually have a silent support i think it's [11:16] a silent i think it's a well that's how i won i got probably 85 million votes they say 78 million 79 [11:23] million they cheated in this election too it was just too big to rick too big to rick yeah um actually [11:32] we do have support it's it's silent support all of the people who are greatly benefiting from this [11:39] administration economically and and every in every other metric they're so happy that they're stunned [11:46] into silence they can't even talk about how donald trump is helping them so much when people are [11:56] called by polling organizations they're just they're so happy they're they're almost in tears and [12:04] they can't even talk to the pollster that's what donald trump would have you believe the other thing [12:08] he would have you believe is that all of the polls are fake anything that says donald trump is doing a [12:14] bad job fake anything that that uh all of the polls that say he's doing a good job well they don't [12:20] exist and donald trump doesn't actually give specific reference to them he just gives vague nebulous [12:26] answers about how it's fake news when it's bad and real good news uh when it's good and i had to go [12:33] through and i still do fake stories fake polls you know i had polls for the election that showed i was [12:40] going to get swamped and i won in a landslide they were fake polls because polls are tough you know [12:45] when you get a fake poll i get them today i saw one today that i'm at 40 40 40 i'm not a 40 i'm at [12:53] much higher than that i mean i'd love to run against anybody for the real polls say you kill everybody [12:59] it wouldn't even be close but you go through the fake polls you go through the fake stories [13:05] and i said you know it was good because this is really a much more powerful term than i would have [13:12] had if i had run because it was just one of those things there would be nothing to compare it to [13:18] why doesn't he name the specific poll that says he's much higher than that he doesn't because there's [13:24] not a poll out there in fact the problem in the situation with donald trump's polling right now is [13:29] so dire that it's record-breaking it is historic even when compared to the terrible polls that he got [13:37] in his first administration let me share with you a brief moment from a cnn segment with harry enton [13:43] who explains just how terrible the situation is what is driving this drop for the for the what is [13:50] driving this drop i said record was the name of the game when it came to this segment right talking [13:56] about the lowest trump has ever been going into the state of the union the lowest that any president has [14:00] been this century going into a state of union at this point in their presidency it is also the weakest [14:06] that donald trump has ever been with independence look at this drop we've been talking about it the [14:12] past few months at this point a year ago donald trump was at minus 13 points look at this minus 47 [14:20] points among independents the lowest donald trump has ever been in either of his two terms as president [14:26] with independence that is driving these numbers when you're 47 points underwater with independence that's [14:33] the name of the game you can't be above water overall and that's why donald trump is near record [14:36] lows overall and the lowest he's ever been going into a state of the union address quite a message [14:41] on the eve of this big moment thank you harry thank you john those numbers with independence just [14:46] eye-popping there that's a hell of a screenshot is it not he looks exasperated he looks almost sad [14:53] for donald trump that he's 47 points under with independence that's the net approval rating right now [15:01] with independence which are a critical metric among voters because democrats are going to vote the way [15:08] they vote largely republicans they're in the cult they're going to vote the way they're going to vote [15:13] largely it's independence that swing an election one way or another and when you're this underwater in [15:20] just the period of one year which is historic it doesn't bode well it doesn't look good and donald trump [15:28] because he can't face the reality of it he wants to lean in on the idea that there's a silent support [15:34] network out there he won't make a course correction he won't do what the american people want which is [15:40] just lead just create policy that better people's lives he won't do it because he doesn't identify [15:46] anything as an actual problem because he lives in fantasy land so much fantasy land that anything that's [15:54] bad for him democrats cheated if a democrat wins an election democrats cheated if he wins well maybe [16:02] they did cheat too but it just wasn't powerful enough watch this madness from donald trump how i won i got [16:10] probably 85 million votes they say 78 through because we've suffered [17:09] through it together again he is just recycling conspiracy theories that we've already heard that [17:16] courts have already heard the arguments to and dismissed out of hand because there was no evidence [17:23] presented it's as though donald trump's lawyers went into a courtroom and said the very things you just [17:29] heard him said and the judge said yeah but where's the evidence you can't just say it and have us [17:33] rule in your favor you need evidence there is no evidence the only time donald trump really starts [17:41] talking about cheating is when he loses he didn't say that it was cheating in 2016 when he won the [17:47] election he didn't say there was cheating he said it in 2020 he said it before 2020 even happened [17:53] because he saw the writing on the wall on the wall he saw polling like this he saw polling like this [18:01] and decided oh we got to come up with a narrative that's going to explain before i lose how i lost [18:08] in every single court case every single one that came before a a court every single one got dismissed [18:16] out of hand because of lack of evidence they didn't present any evidence they just made claims [18:24] people are sick and tired of the incompetence of the corruption of the self-dealing just make [18:33] someone's life easier donald trump that's your charge brother you're incapable you recently expressed some [18:54] support to deploy them to polling locations armed federal officers now how do you reconcile that with [19:00] obviously the federal law that prohibits federal law enforcement to be armed at these locations [19:05] well i didn't that's not true i have not said that um what i what we have talked about is whether [19:09] there's a need to um to make sure our elections are fair to make sure that only people who are supposed [19:15] to be voting are voting which isn't an incredible um statement to be made by a government official [19:20] i hope everybody in congress everybody in the senate thinks that now the other thing is if you're here [19:25] illegally you are not allowed to vote so i also am not sure of the uproar of the risk of having a [19:30] border patrol or an ice agent at a polling location or looking into whether somebody is voting that [19:37] shouldn't be if you are here illegally you cannot vote and so what's the risk why wouldn't everybody in [19:42] washington everybody in the united states be supportive of that to make sure that people that [19:46] are here illegally are not voting are not voting i don't know so you are in support of federal [19:52] immigration officers to be checking the validity of someone's voting status i was not talking about [19:56] whether i'm supporting or not supporting it my point is that this idea should not be complicated [20:01] it's it's what we're saying is that if you're here illegally you can't vote don't let his daft squirrely [20:07] dipshit demeanor fool you this is sinister more than five years [20:57] or both and be disqualified from holding any office of honor profit or trust under the united states [21:08] and section 593 under u.s code 18 u.s code which is the criminal code uh it says uh i'll put it on [21:16] screen while i'm talking here a little bit and you can read it if you'd like to pause this is already [21:22] u.s law this is already a felony this is already an imprisonable fine of not more than five years in [21:28] prison but the acting attorney general what's the big deal who cares if we follow federal law who [21:37] cares if we violate u.s law who cares if we could we could disqualify ourselves from holding public [21:45] office ever again by ordering masked secret police donald trump's execution squad to go into polling [21:53] station what's the big deal they're planning to do it this is the plot they are disenfranchising [22:04] black voters effectively that's what they're doing they'll still be able to cast a ballot but it's not [22:08] going to go anywhere they are engineering districts to box out democratic voters largely disproportionately [22:18] blacks vote for democrats because the republican party has an agenda of
