[0:07] and welcome to a special edition a live edition of inside trump's head i'm sorry to laugh but [0:15] this is a record even by trump's own standard katie's zachari zachariah katie zachariah you [0:24] don't have to learn don't bother learning the name now i know i was really stumbling over her last [0:29] name she is out and in the most delicate way i think i've ever seen trump fire someone he's like [0:37] i i think i'd reconsider if i were you i would i would say the background in the background was [0:43] less than delicate so i mean michael what do you think is going on here well let's just first [0:50] acknowledge that the one person the the one happy person at this moment must be anthony scaramucci [0:58] his 11 day record has now been broken and he didn't think it would be i've been having a text [1:04] exchange back and forth with him and he's like no she's gonna she's gonna outlast me i don't think [1:10] so not so fast no no i i was i thought she was not going to make it through the weekend so you [1:17] you did say that you did say that so but uh and she hasn't she didn't make it through friday oh goodness [1:25] and and let let's go back because this time last week she hadn't even been announced in the job [1:31] as she told shauna hannity in a in a what turns out to be a prophetic and sadly fateful sadly for her [1:39] fateful interview uh she said it had all been done very last minute she'd come in for an interview i [1:46] think on thursday she'd flown back to california on the saturday she'd flown back to dc on the sunday she [1:53] wasn't really briefed but she'd stepped up to the plate and done her bit and gone ahead with the [1:58] briefing and of course the briefing turned out to be catastrophic for her uh uh that you mean the [2:04] briefing the white house briefing yes the the briefing that she gave the press where she answered three [2:09] questions she took i think a total of three minutes uh and and she was also given the you know remarkable [2:17] bit of news to tell people that they'd asked uh kimberly guildford to resign and she gave a little [2:23] sort of smile when she said that amazing let me just give a little background on what i can surmise [2:30] more than surmise i know happened with the sean hannity interview so uh so he was the designated [2:39] assassin take her down oh interesting you think he was the designated assassin and who was he told that [2:48] by was that by susie wiles who yes somebody he was told by the white house whether who who that came [2:56] directly from um but it was and it would have been couch go tough on her okay because and if she survives [3:04] i you know that was the kind of thing if she survives okay maybe maybe maybe she gets another [3:09] another another crack but um but we want to kill this if this is going south we want it to go south today [3:18] okay so so for those who haven't been paying as much attention as we have she comes out and gives [3:23] her first press briefing on a tuesday it's not very long she takes three questions from breitbart from the [3:30] daily mail and from fox uh they then go out because president trump is on his way to alaska to shore up [3:39] dan sullivan's seat out there uh which has become very tight not least because there's another dan [3:45] sullivan running in the same race against the incumbent dan sullivan but we can come to that [3:50] later uh and then they have a sort of impromptu press conference as the helicopter is whirring and [3:56] about to take off from the brand new helipad and she is asked or donald trump is asked which state did [4:05] she pass the bar in because donald trump's been boasting she's an attorney he turns to her yeah and she [4:13] gives um uh an answer a one word answer that will um that will be um remembered in the history of the [4:22] trump administration the two trump's administration and her answer as to what state she had passed the [4:29] bar in was china china china it it it you know as a as a friend just texted me sometimes it's not enough [4:41] to be blonde michael it's not enough to be blonde um so she had the look she'd been on television how [4:49] do you think they chose her in the first place big shoes to fill from carolyn levitt the previous press [4:55] secretary who'd been with trump since the beginning of this second administration had a second child [5:01] has an older wealthier husband i think had been sick of trump shouting at her and probably wanted to [5:08] spend more time with her babies that's what she said and so deep experience in the trump in the [5:15] trump circle she was with him throughout the 2024 campaign a lower level i mean she really had risen [5:22] up the ladder proved herself um and i suspect he wanted someone like her i mean so there was you know [5:29] there was a lot of talk of of scott jennings of you know a fox guy um who might come in there's a lot [5:36] of people around the white house who might have been qualified nat kind of natural for this for this [5:44] job what trump wanted was uh someone a blonde someone who looked the part i want someone to look the part [5:53] doesn't look the part doesn't look the part yeah she looks the part get her and that's central casting [6:00] that is yes so that was that's pretty much the sub the sum of her vetting um that she had uh that the [6:10] hair looked right and he thought she was an attorney apparently what we're hearing is that he was telling [6:17] people backstage oh i thought she was an attorney he didn't realize she wasn't an attorney and clearly [6:23] nobody had vetted her nobody had vetted her michael and you're you sound surprised [6:29] i'm a little surprised um but i guess i'm not surprised well should we be surprised that she's [6:37] gone as fast as she has uh yeah yeah i mean even in even in the trump world um but this was a calamity [6:48] so you you began by saying for those of you who might not know everybody knew everybody has been [6:54] following this this was a live train wreck but you know i think the broader implication here is trump [7:03] wanting what wanting to do things the way he wants to do things uh it's just i think he disintermediated [7:12] suzy wiles and any other adults in the room i want her blonde i want her um that's what he in in the [7:20] ideal world in the ideal trump world nobody else is making decisions or nobody else is making decisions [7:28] about the things that he wants to make decisions about so we are going to go in and remember we're [7:35] we're now heading in the midterms are going to happen then we're heading into the final two years [7:41] and these final two years are going to be um a show for a lot of reasons but not least of all because [7:49] donald trump wants to do what donald trump wants to do so what does that mean he has someone who [7:56] fires them if they do i mean why does what why doesn't he i mean he's got a system here whereby [8:04] you vet people so that he doesn't have to go through what looks like chaos and makes him look idiotic [8:10] did i just hear you say system and donald trump in the same sentence i know why did i say that but [8:15] isn't that the point of having isn't that the point of having susie wilds though that everybody [8:19] says oh no no no the point of being the president of the united states is that you can do or the point [8:25] about being donald trump and the president of the united states is that you can do whatever you want [8:31] to do and and you you know i i am actually surprised trump is willing to tolerate virtually anything [8:44] um and but what he is not willing to tolerate is somebody fumbling around in front of a camera so [8:54] the fact that on television she was inept is a is fatal in the in the trump universe and yet she had [9:04] auditioned for the job by being on television and you know well that's why i mean i'm sure that he saw yeah [9:11] he saw the he saw the tapes he saw her on television i like the way she looks and so she's good look at [9:18] that she's good so does this mean that scott jennings i mean someone just posted a very very funny comment [9:25] saying that uh scott jennings is out busy buying a blonde wig someone else just posted saying oh i wish [9:32] that she'd survived through halloween i think the implication being they were going to dress up as her [9:38] uh for halloween which is kind of a fun one um i guess everybody will be there'll be a run on [9:44] blonde do you are you are you are you asking if it's going to be scott jennings who you have been [9:50] promoting for i haven't been promoting him i just heard that uh that scott was very much in the market [9:56] for the job and we've all seen his his makeover on television he's lost a lot of weight no and he's [10:02] grown up he's not going to be the press secretary who who do we think is going to be i mean as the [10:08] poor press secretaries themselves always have to say and at least caroline and katie both said oh he [10:15] doesn't need a press secretary there is no better press secretary than donald trump no one communicates [10:19] donald better than donald does he actually want a press secretary is this perhaps now an outdated well [10:25] well yeah well yeah no no i mean i mean it's a functional job um i mean you need somebody to go [10:31] out there on a rather constant basis i mean it's a really it's a really tiring job and to absorb [10:39] a lot of incoming from a lot of reporters um so um and trump has always it's not an important job [10:46] that's why trump has always wanted someone to look the part that person represents the trump [10:52] administration he wants it to be seen that the trump administration is an administration of um [11:01] blondes of i don't know an administration of blondes that's really and of course he gets [11:09] well he gets blonder he gets grayer he gets redder who knows what he's doing but [11:14] yes hair is very important what's the most important thing to donald trump [11:18] oh hair is certainly up there hair is up there we've just flashed up my favorite picture of the [11:24] week which the two of us dissected in thursdays inside trump's head this is natalie harp on the [11:31] right as we look at the picture uh with katie zachariah uh on the left trump himself and i think this is a [11:40] doug mills picture from the new york times they're actually two very similar pictures uh one was by doug [11:45] mills uh this one came out on getty i think but um let's just talk about this picture for a moment [11:52] what do you see michael when you look at this picture blondes i mean that's what this is about [11:58] he likes to be surrounded by by women young women you know i we've we've often discussed during his [12:07] trials his four criminal indictments during the campaign and he would brag i mean he would um [12:17] was clearly very proud of this to say my legal team may not be the smartest but it's the hottest [12:25] uh referring to alina haba and uh what's the name lindsey halligan lindsey halligan yes yes lindsey [12:34] halligan who he then tried to put in to take on james comey i think that's right and she was she was [12:42] removed because she was illegally put into uh the prosecutor role right right or she put in as u.s [12:50] attorney or they tried to put her in as u.s attorney so alina haba is and we can talk about the people [12:58] we ought to talk who have campaigned for this job the press secretary job including alina haba would she be [13:06] good would she be better than katie zachariah would she perhaps last half a zachariah we have a new [13:12] time unit now no yeah i think i think she uh she might although during the campaign um um trump would [13:23] what was constantly dressing down alina haba for as he said your truck driver mouth and also the fact [13:33] that she was she was uh she liked the cocktail she likes a cocktail i mean what what does katie [13:43] zachariah do now before we come on to the people who are going to fulfill her i don't know what what [13:49] what was she doing before i don't know well there are very funny super cuts all over x formerly known [13:58] as twitter of her saying as a lawyer as a lawyer as a lawyer as a lawyer well i guess i guess she could [14:06] study for the bar exam oh she could study for them wouldn't that be the best possible revenge for katie [14:13] zachariah that she studies and passes the bar well she could study and fail again too of course like [14:21] well she wouldn't be the first person to fail twice at the bar right didn't john jr do that [14:25] john kennedy jr failed at the bar didn't he twice i think he passed on the third time yeah no no i mean [14:31] many people have failed the bar exam right hillary hillary clinton i believe hillary clinton failed [14:41] the bar exam yeah yeah i find that hard to believe i find that incredibly hard to believe [14:48] well let's ever failed an exam can we check this would someone like to check this yes can someone [14:54] check it and then uh post us someone can can i see caitlin is saying she did she did fail the bar exam [15:05] that's in my mind that has been but that's a fact that i collect facts that that are that is not [15:13] disconnected from everything that is you're you're you're seeing the comments i'm not seeing the [15:17] comments if if benji is running this can figure out how i can see the comments at the same time yes [15:23] someone else has bought hillary clinton failed her first bar attempt there you go uh so let's just [15:33] talk about this hannity interview you say that he was instructed to basically put the knife in [15:39] susie wiles wasn't a part of katie zachariah in terms of her being appointed to the job did susie call [15:49] hannity it wouldn't matter who called it's it this is this is that would have come directly from the [15:55] white house whether it came from susie stephen chung somebody else who um uh who hannity is talking to [16:02] and remember hannity talks to many people in the white house it is perfectly possible perfectly [16:09] possible that it came directly from donald trump to sean hannity so play that conversation out for [16:17] me a little bit what would it sound like go tough on her see if she can take it we gotta we we have [16:25] to move on this we have to resolve this was her other mistake that she became the story i mean we [16:32] know that donald trump doesn't like people who make money off his presidency and he doesn't like [16:37] it when people get more attention yeah no no this was a disaster i mean this had to happen i mean [16:42] that's why the sean hannity thing was was uh was useful could she use that could she stand up to [16:49] hannity could she change the subject could she show that she was another side of her that that was [16:57] not evident when she did the press conference so do it it's on you see if you can do it um and she [17:05] couldn't actually she made it things worse and so she's gone she's gone she's evaporated and all [17:15] credit to her she has four kids and she thought she could do the job with four kids and she seemed [17:20] anxious about uh being at home for supper she said she wanted to be at home for supper with her children [17:27] that that was a non-negotiable i wasn't quite sure how she was going to do that even in the run-up to [17:33] um now she won't have that problem at least yeah no i i mean i feel of some sympathy for for her she [17:41] got drafted into this and opportunity this was like you know opportunity knocks once um and she [17:49] and she felt she had to take it but she was uh obviously unready unprepared um caught off guard [17:59] um and then had to had to be in one of the most you know one of the jobs with the highest public [18:08] exposure most of the vulnerability you can ever have able to jump on live and respond to something [18:29] in real time and this is the most uh well both unexpected and perhaps inevitable story that [18:38] katie zachariah would last less than a week after her but again let's let's go it is on donald trump [18:47] you know i i mean you know they've been they're pretty good in this in this white house about [18:53] picking picking the kind of spokespeople that um that trump that trump likes that work with him that can [19:05] defend the indefensible let's say and um and well and and actually let me let me rethink that because [19:15] there have been notable instances like sean spicer the first press secretary that didn't work out so [19:22] well but there have been certainly a string of of there have been very clear models for what is required [19:29] of a trump press secretary and um and uh you know i mean this is again just that instance of of of of [19:40] of he didn't think this through he thought no i like the way she looks let's take her again the kind of [19:49] arrogance that comes after you know um from being the president of the united states and wanting to do what [19:59] you want to do and uh screw everything else take her i can pick her i can i have that i have the power [20:07] here i have the power here what turned out that the power wasn't much used to him in the end and he [20:14] thought she was an attorney and and she wasn't and i wonder if she should have thought harder about how to [20:22] explain the fact that she wasn't actually an attorney at law that she doesn't have esq after her name [20:29] i mean it feels like no one well that's right well that's a hard explanation when you have been [20:36] billing yourself as an attorney but have not passed the bar right so could she should she have said [20:47] yeah i i mean actually at that news conference she should have said i went i graduated from law school [20:54] i haven't passed the bar but then that opens the thing i failed the bar now also you know not a good [21:01] look clearly not a good look but the other thing and we we've said this before she you know she [21:08] doesn't have to be a lawyer to have this job so that's a that's an issue that that had no reason to [21:15] come up well it's a very good question as someone i hear gene from the bronx is asking are the lawyers [21:22] in doj better having passed the bar case in point i mean that's a perfectly reasonable question but i i [21:31] wonder how much actually background checks they're doing in the dj than the doj i have no idea um but [21:40] i do know that in order to um to um to argue a case in court you have to have passed a bar well [21:49] interestingly katie zachariah said that she was a a legal analyst she wasn't a legal she wasn't [22:00] giving legal advice which she said this on on hannity uh when she's all all of them i mean this [22:09] is all room because there there's other instances then where she built herself as a general counsel [22:14] a general counsel i mean this is all an issue of of of baloney nomenclature um i said i was a lawyer [22:22] but not an attorney although there are instances of her claiming that that that too as though there's [22:27] a distinction between lawyer and attorney there is not in english anyway um and the idea of a general [22:37] counsel the general counsel is is the lawyer who represents a corporation so she just got yeah she [22:43] got hung on uh i mean she was obviously engaged in some minor misrepresentations of herself which [22:53] then came to bite her in the ass so does she head off to fox news now would fox news hire her at this [23:00] point no i don't i i don't think so i mean i think but you know i mean let's not feel so sorry for her [23:07] she will um she will be forgotten in days um and the katie zachariah um um episode will be not hardly [23:22] even a footnote and as footnotes go i mean anthony scaramucci has done pretty well um after his 11 days [23:31] so that would say that um i think that katie zachariah would can go into the podcast business [23:38] well certainly anthony scaramucci has given her a very good um blueprint for what to do which is [23:45] you have to lean into it you have to laugh about it you have to draw attention to it and own it as [23:51] opposed to pretending that it's someone else's fault took anthony quite a while to laugh about it yeah [23:57] did it oh it did it did well he can certainly laugh about it now and he's turned it to his advantage [24:03] he also had of course a period i mean during the biden years when it wasn't really relevant but [24:08] it's become more relevant now but the other the other issue anthony scaramucci thing is that he [24:15] turned against trump what is what rescued anthony scaramucci becoming a trump enemy so that would be [24:23] the message for katie zachariah okay so katie zachariah might have some competition for that because [24:30] another scalp this week was that of of course kimberly guilfoyle um who as we know has [24:39] apparently a lot of information about the trumps having been engaged to donald trump jr for many many [24:46] years the bosom of the trump family in the bosom of the trump family and of course they've or she [24:53] kind of was the bosom of the trump family yeah she was everybody's bosom actually i mean i interviewed eric [25:00] dieters uh the man who she asked to quickly uh wire her a hundred thousand dollars to uh pay off her [25:08] amex bill as she was no no he's he seems seems like a real scumbag did he seem like that in person [25:15] well he what i will say is he was full of energy in person i mean it was as if he drunk it was like [25:22] talking to someone who'd had five red bulls he was on fire but he's also a radio host in kentucky so he's [25:29] used to sort of high energy and and yelling at the camera but he did describe one incident where [25:38] he has the how he gets to know kimberly guilfoyle is he goes to a speakers bureau to book maga speakers [25:45] for his freedom fest which is a festival he's doing i think in some fields in um in kentucky during [25:53] covid to sort of say let's get back out there let's socialize again uh and he books kimberly and [25:59] he also has don junior coming don junior commands two hundred thousand dollars uh kimberly gets paid [26:06] three hundred thousand dollars but that's for doing three speeches so a hundred thousand dollars each [26:12] but he says that when they arrive uh they come from separate airports he picks up kimberly and then they [26:17] have to drive very very fast to pick up don junior and they bounce down a kind of grass verge because [26:22] he's missed the turning to the airport that john junior is coming in at and she shouts at him you're [26:28] my jason statham my breast implants are going to explode if we carry on like this which i thought was [26:35] a was a great detail that i hadn't heard before but he was uh you know she didn't deliver him the [26:45] information that he'd wanted or the connections that he'd wanted uh and now he's claiming that he's [26:52] going to sue her because she's claiming that the the texts that he provided the wall street journal [26:59] who broke the story were in fact ai he's saying they weren't ai they're true especially the one that [27:06] said if you carry on like this you are going to cost me my ambassadorship uh which turned out to be a [27:13] prescient uh text indeed well and i can guarantee we certainly have not heard the last of kimberly [27:20] guilfoyle we may have had heard the last of of katie zachariah but not kimberly guilfoyle [27:28] so what does kimberly do now michael well i don't we're we're waiting to see she turns against trump [27:36] possibly uh maybe she it will take follow the anthony scaramucci model or she's negotiating that's what [27:44] she's doing right now right as we speak she is negotiating with the white house on some some [27:52] favorable or at least more favorable outcome for herself what if they may not get it what if they [27:58] were to offer her the press secretary you know i think even this white house could not do that but [28:07] i will tell you that she is one person who has campaigned for that job specifically oddly if they [28:15] hadn't sent her to greece it's a job she might have been quite good at i mean she's not blonde [28:21] though i'm sure she would go blonde and i think she used to be blonde um well the problem the problem [28:27] of course was that she is was the jilted uh fiance of the president's son that was a little bit of an [28:33] impediment oh that would be that would be tricky but she also tried to get this job during the um uh during [28:39] the first administration she was campaigning to replace scott spicer oh interestingly so she's [28:47] sean spicer sean spicer so she's sean scott none of it matters he went on dancing with the stars i think [28:55] i'm just looking here i don't know if you can see this but it's actually a rather funny uh tweet put [29:01] out by gavin newsom's office in memoriam and we should we should point out that uh gavin newsom was the [29:09] former mr kimberly guilfoyle the former mr kimberly guilfoyle and she told a friend of mine when she [29:18] moved to new york when the friend asked why she'd left gavin because they seem to be a power couple [29:24] on the west coast uh the marriage wasn't big enough for two egos so she sort of acknowledged her own ego [29:30] and i i do think i think it was in thursday's episode of inside trump's head you gave a very good [29:35] analysis of her as as beyond the becky sharp character that she really is um or perhaps [29:42] it was in your sub stack actually a beautifully written sub stack about her being this novelistic [29:47] character who really has no soul and is just climbing from one as it turns out man to another [29:56] and you know not you know i i would not make this a thing about about women this is this would [30:03] characterize the soullessness and the climbing and the uh the desperate effort to to get what you can [30:13] get during this trump opportunity characterizes virtually everyone in the trump administration [30:20] right so let's just have a look at some comments we've got in here who needs nuclear weapons when you [30:26] have kimberly that's from gene from the bronx uh i've just managed to access our our comments um [30:35] annie bornavigator is saying is this an october surprise is this the october surprise um so well [30:44] well just just it is it is it is it is an october surprise but it's certainly not helpful again and [30:52] and it's it's i mean we ought to we ought to uh nod here to the again again to the midterms this is [31:00] not a good look for donald trump i mean arguably very little is a good look for donald trump but this [31:06] is but this is this is a pretty pretty public bad look oh dear well thank goodness katie zachariah's [31:15] got her children to go back to there's something very leveling about walking into a house or an [31:19] apartment of children and she won't have to move now because she was talking about moving her whole [31:24] family she said that her husband had come with her for the week uh and they will return to california [31:31] and all that time with the realtor mr zachariah um you don't have to worry about making a choice between [31:40] you know chevy chase or alexandria or georgetown you're going back to california you're going back to [31:49] california um someone here asking do we even know what exactly she did in the law firm in china [31:57] well i think the chinese the law firm has implied that she was an intern i think she was giving legal [32:04] legal analysis michael it sounds like she was an intern or maybe i think they were they were they [32:09] were pretty clear that that was that she was not giving legal analysis that she did not have a she was [32:15] not offering um legal counsel at any level and to anyone you know she's i you know i mean i do again [32:23] i i feel i do feel something something for her she got in what you know whatever whatever needle she was [32:32] trying to thread about being a lawyer not being a lawyer needing a job uh you know you know a lot [32:38] of people go to law school and think jesus that was a terrible experience and and you know i don't really [32:43] want to be a lawyer but then you need a job and you're kind of caught in this and then uh uh you're [32:51] you're picked out of you're randomly picked out of nowhere to be the um uh to be the the white house [33:01] press secretary and um all that you've kind of fudged and been imprecise about and kind of lied about [33:10] um you know what just one more resume lie um and you're the light shines on you well alas yeah and [33:22] she's 41 she's 41 so she's gotten used to fudging it and no one calling her on it presumably i mean [33:29] she did the way she presents herself on television she did talk about you know that she would oversee [33:36] these you know billion dollar global contracts which is quite a lot of responsibility for an intern [33:43] now someone here is saying it was cruel of trump to pick her in the first place which is really [33:48] your point i think now how about getting rid of hegseth how about it yeah no i mean that's the other [33:55] thing i mean it really is compared to the other people she is hardly um hardly the first person you [34:05] would pick to uh um to toss out is there a single man that donald trump has tossed out yet all the [34:14] cabinet members that he's fired have been women yeah well let's think i mean rick grinnell kind of got [34:22] the boo he was running he was a former ambassador to germany in the first administration running the [34:27] lincoln center this time around that was called the kennedy center but sorry sorry i can't believe i said [34:34] that i'm so new york centric so new york centric yes the kennedy center the kennedy said you see i've [34:40] already erased it from my mind well you might as well yes it's like katie's a carrier zacharia it's on [34:48] its way out yeah sorry the the kennedy center um yeah so i'm on the uh i'm just trying to think who else has [35:00] what i mean christy name went uh lori chavez rumor went or rumor chavez went the labor secretary [35:08] um pam bondi went i can't i don't think a single male cabinet minister has gone and goodness knows [35:19] there are candidates for it um yeah no i and as you the the more important point there are candidates [35:28] every single one of them practically every single one of them okay uh how much here's someone asking [35:40] donna bolt is asking how much actual strategic planning can he do with that demented brain well [35:48] as i i have tried to say and illustrate and argue over many many many years the answer is none no [36:00] strategic planning great someone here is saying joking i heard gavin may have a position in his [36:09] presidential run kim could work for him yeah why do i think that's not going to happen do you think [36:17] she becomes an issue for him if he does run for president which he appears to be doing yeah i mean i i [36:25] i'm going to make it an issue i mean i i mean i can't even begin to explain that how does this how [36:34] does gavin newsom marry uh kimberly guilfoyle i mean that is a just oh there is some inexplicable [36:45] judgment there youth what about youth youth well you know these these days we get hoisted for the [36:54] decisions we make as uh young people we do we do that's that's fair actually okay so guilfoyle [37:03] zacharia and zampoli all in one week margaret rowane is saying trump chaos is ratcheting up as the [37:10] midterms close in i think that's i couldn't agree more and by the way that would be thank you thank [37:15] you margaret um uh that's another guy there's a guy zampoli did zampoli lose his job of course oh i missed [37:29] that i missed that zampoli lost his job yes okay as ambassador for what was he ambassador for every [37:37] every word ambassador at large i mean he had no job job it was easy to fire him because he really didn't [37:43] do anything he wasn't even supposed to do it he had no function but he had a title and he got fired [37:50] for allegations of sexual abuse right uh uh no that's not i don't think that that is um that's not [37:59] clear if it's the case oh i thought that's he's just out he's out and he wasn't even i don't even [38:07] think they've announced he's just leaving he's leaving but there were accusations there were [38:14] accusations of sexual assault against him brought i think at the beginning of this week and he is [38:19] of course the man that melania writes about in her book as having introduced her to donald trump yeah [38:25] i mean i think yeah i mean his larger problem is that he seems to have arranged the deportation [38:32] of the mother of his of his child so that's a good look oh my goodness well um we've got here [38:47] anthony scaramucci saying records are made to be broken but i take no pleasure in other people's pain [38:54] and then joe scarborough saying mooch we hardly knew you um i bet he took takes a little pleasure [39:04] well i don't think we're taking pleasure in her pain are we were taking some element of amusement at [39:12] the chaos of it all and the predictability of it all and the inevitability of it all and the [39:17] understanding that this is why you have systems this is actually why you do background checks so that [39:23] this doesn't happen to you and to the country well we always like a little humiliation of someone [39:28] else michael wolff we will be back with inside trump's head tomorrow thrilling to jump on with [39:36] you live uh i will say the tech wasn't a hundred percent um a hundred percent at my end i don't know [39:44] how it was for you my end perfect smooth good well that's because you're living in the hamptons and [39:49] you have no problems here in the city it's over complicated and i couldn't quite see enough of [39:54] the uh of the comments um yeah i've actually i the comments had started here but then they stopped [40:02] go figure who knows who knows michael will be back at uh well we'll be back at uh we'll be back at it [40:12] we'll be back for another episode almost almost immediately well it's basically 24 7 at this point i [40:19] mean there is an amazingly there is an inside trump's head 24 7 channel which gets more viewers [40:25] frequently than trump tv i have been tracking it uh but at this point it feels like we're always talking [40:31] well and and i think you know as this as we go into i mean it's almost impossible to to imagine that [40:39] things could become more intense and more chaotic um than they have been but these final two years are [40:47] going to be um something do you think he needs a press secretary before the midterms will he need [40:53] one to you know announce some of the results no no i mean there there are people there are actually [41:01] people in the press office who who are there who can fill in who are who are good they're just not as [41:07] blonde as as he might like so uh so i i don't i don't know will they i mean there's two things will [41:15] they rush to uh to select someone uh new so we can put the katie zachariah episode be high be behind [41:23] us behind them uh or will they think hey we we should we should maybe take some time here and and and [41:31] vet somebody you you you predicted when we spoke on thursday that um you thought a lot of people had [41:39] probably turned the job down absolutely yes i mean it's you know i mean for all kinds of reasons so [41:48] because to be uh to be so identified with with donald trump um is um you know i mean i think at this [42:00] point people are thinking twice about this also we're going into the midterm elections i mean they [42:05] could be and more and more likely will be devastated there's a lot of reasons to turn down this job [42:14] unless you're a you're a a woman a blonde who wants to uh wants entree to fox news [42:23] well i wonder what uh sean hannity is thinking right now is he thinking that he's more powerful than [42:33] he's thinking i did my job you owe me white house donald trump you owe me michael wolf you owe our [42:42] viewers more time tomorrow we'll be back at 2 p.m on youtube head as he too watches the returns see you then no i'll see you then i'll see you see you many times [43:47] i'm gonna see you tomorrow i'm gonna see you tomorrow michael have a good evening in the
