'The Five': Never-Trumpers gather for counter-rally featuring celebrities and breathing exercises

[0:06] While in New York City, a who's who of the president's critics all got together [0:10] for a counter rally featuring celebrity lectures and breathing exercises. [0:15] Trump said, I love the inflation. [0:18] Now say it with me. [0:20] Shut the f*** up. [0:22] Loving our country is starting to sound like an abused spouse saying they love their abuser. [0:27] I can't love the country that's led by Donald Trump. [0:30] And just take a really deep breath in and breathe in all that hope, all that love, [0:41] and just breathe out all that fear. [0:45] Right now the government and its cronies is routinely violating its First Amendment to silence artists. [0:51] Don Lemon arrested. Georgia Fort arrested. Terry Moran fired from ABC. [0:56] All of us shone the door for just doing our jobs. [1:00] And if it's Democrats, you know there was singing. [1:02] I can't wait to hear the next Democrat group therapy session on why they can't win back men. [1:31] That was incredible. [1:32] What a contrast. [1:33] On one hand, you have this kind of a group of aging, fading, bitter, mentally unwell-looking group of people. [1:41] And then you contrast that with the obvious, you know, forget about just forget about the patriotism and the White House. [1:47] Just people having fun, smiling and laughing. [1:52] And they look at us and they go, oh, we look at them and we just kind of laugh. [1:58] And I think that's an interesting point, is that we understand their mindset and our mindset. [2:04] But they don't understand either. [2:06] They don't even understand their own mindset. [2:08] Like, how did they get to this place? [2:10] And why are they so angry? [2:13] Because if it were any other variable besides Trump, they would think they were being irrational. [2:18] But for some reason, it is one giant blind spot. [2:24] And they've sacrificed all their credibility. [2:27] I mean, they can't come after us for being disgusting about having this UFC fight [2:36] when you had a trans party at the White House with Joe. [2:40] So it's kind of like, you know what? [4:03] And the woman starts shaking. [4:04] You know how mentally ill they are. [4:06] And she's like totally disconnected from reality. [4:09] They don't know how to talk to people. [4:12] Miserable, angry, crazy. [4:15] And you look at what's going on here. [4:16] I mean, we've just defeated the world's number one state sponsor of terror. [4:20] We're about to sign a peace deal to get all their uranium. [4:23] We just had thousands of Americans chanting USA on the White House lawn at the greatest UFC fight [4:30] I've ever seen. [4:40] To celebrate America 250, the greatest country in the world. [4:44] At the same weekend, you have all of these Europeans, who the liberals love, here visiting, [4:50] talking about how the United States is the greatest country in the world. [4:54] Have you seen these videos of the French, Germans, and the Dutch? [4:57] Like astounded about our landscape, our food, our trucks, our freedom, how friendly the American [5:05] people are. [5:06] And it's like the United States is also like, wait a second, we take all this stuff for [5:10] Canada. [5:10] Yeah, maybe we are great. [5:12] The Europeans are saying we're great. [5:14] I think it must be true. [5:17] So the Knicks, Trump's no jinx, major championship. [5:22] Think about the run we're on. [5:23] We have the hockey team winning the gold. [5:35] I think you should just be happy to be alive. [5:38] This is very similar counter-programming that the Democrats did at the State of the Union [5:43] that also fell flat or the No Kings rally. [5:46] And a lot of it is just all anger directed at Trump. [5:50] At some point, do the Democrats know how to pivot and to talk about some sort of solution-oriented [5:55] ideas that they have instead of this kind of thing? [5:57] Well, I think so. [5:59] And we've been doing well in elections, which indicates that people are hearing something [6:03] that they like. [6:04] And I think beyond just we don't like Trump, since a lot of voters were Trump 2024 voters [6:09] and now are swinging back in this direction. [6:11] I would separate the No Kings rallies out of this because I think mobilizing, you know, [6:15] five, eight million people is a big deal. [6:18] And hopefully that translates to the election. [7:34] That was his final message. [7:36] So you had a guy who vomited on himself during a weigh-in the day before, [7:40] stands up there, Joe Rogan. [7:42] Maybe he was paralyzed in the moment and didn't think, [7:44] oh, I should emphasize the fact that Michelle Obama, [7:46] a former first lady, since we're talking about patriotism [7:48] and paying our respects to the White House [7:51] and those who have come before us, is not a man. [10:00] Robert De Niro and Julia Roberts, [10:02] they did not get the message that using them, [10:04] these leftover celebrities from the 90s [10:07] that live in these gated homes, [10:10] somehow they are the mouthpiece [10:12] that the Dems are trying to get back.
