[0:26] Some of the states that fared the worst [0:28] in terms of the spread were actually closed. [0:32] They did a lot of damage in a lot of different ways. [0:35] And while Americans were six feet apart, [0:37] Dr. Fauci was rubbing shoulders [0:39] with celebrities and media elites. [0:41] One note shows the doc hosted CNN's Jake Tapper [0:45] for dinner in October 2020, [0:48] just days after telling Americans [0:49] to skip Thanksgiving gatherings, writing, quote, [0:53] had dinner at my home with Jake and Jennifer Tapper, [0:56] relaxed, good time. [0:57] Jake clearly believes that Trump is totally nuts. [1:02] Fauci also acted like Hollywood's personal doctor, [1:05] taking calls from stars like Barbra Streisand [1:08] with one entry reading. [1:10] Had a great call with Barbra Streisand. [1:13] She wanted to know if it was okay to get the mRNA vaccine. [1:17] I told her, yes, [1:19] we then started discussing life in general. [1:22] I told her that I work listening to her songs on Alexa. [1:26] She really did not know what Alexa was. [1:31] All right. [1:32] I'm not going to come to you, Greg, [1:33] because it looks like you may go out of the picture [1:34] after hearing that. [1:35] I want to go to Jesse on this. [1:37] Jesse, you know, [1:38] at a time when we're hearing [1:39] that the International Criminal Court [1:41] is all over Bibi, right, [1:43] where are they on the fact that you have, what, [1:45] 20 million deaths globally attributed [1:48] to Chairman Xi? [2:38] And he actually had a vaccine injury at one point. [2:41] And then he lied. [2:43] He said the vaccine's fine. [2:45] Meanwhile, he had a clot. [2:47] So all these stars are on his jock [2:49] because they want him to be their personal doc. [2:53] You know how it is. [3:02] He wants to be their personal doctor [3:05] because he feels guilty [3:07] that he blew it on the lab leak [3:08] and is seeking fame and glory [3:10] to treat a guilty conscience. [3:31] His reputation now is in tatters [3:34] and probably that's the most painful thing. [3:37] But the media is still covering for this guy [3:40] because it doesn't even matter [3:42] that a million Americans died. [3:44] He got Trump out of office, [3:46] and in a way, he was the bioweapon. [3:48] He was the one thing [3:50] that could take out Donald Trump. [3:52] But you know what? [3:52] Trump came back. [4:44] He's not under indictment. [4:45] So, yeah, I guess he could. [4:46] I guess he could. [4:47] It would be terrible. [4:49] And then you just read into it what you want. [4:51] I think the other thing is [4:53] is that there is true anger about all of this [4:56] from the people who lost loved ones, [4:58] the people whose children were harmed, [5:01] or the businesses that had to close, [5:02] even though that business didn't have to. [5:03] And then when you read that we were criticized [5:06] for being skeptical of six feet distance, [5:10] turns out that was just an arbitrary number [5:11] they pulled out of a hat. [5:12] We were criticized for saying [5:14] this market thing didn't make sense. [5:17] The lab seemed to make sense. [5:19] We would be super criticized by the media for that. [5:21] And then also we were critical of the shutdown, [5:24] the lockdown, and continuing on, [5:25] especially for schools, [5:26] again, criticized for that. [5:27] So he did something that you're never supposed to do. [5:30] He would go home and he would read the comments. [5:33] And he fell in love with the comments. [5:35] And it's like, if my mom, a few years ago, [5:38] she was like, Dana, [5:38] they're saying really mean things about you [5:40] on the internet. [5:41] I'm like, mom, you can't read the comments. [5:44] If you read the comments, you fall for it. [5:45] So he was in his diary talking about President Trump [5:48] being a narcissist and a liar. [5:51] And now tomorrow you'll have this diary, [5:53] which is on display for everyone to read, [5:55] and they can probably come to that conclusion. [5:57] Yeah, I think it's going to be... [5:58] Jessica, let me ask you this. [5:59] I mean, look, obviously the media [6:01] was very much on his side. [6:03] Has he lost that seat? [6:05] What's it going to go with the media here? [6:07] Well, I think that there's going to be a push [6:09] to look at the totality of Anthony Fauci's career, [6:13] which spans over 50 years, [6:16] and a lot of very good things that he did, [6:19] especially when it comes to the AIDS epidemic [6:21] and being the chief architect of PEPFAR, [6:23] which was one of W's crowning achievements [6:27] and is credited with saving 25 million lives. [6:31] That's a really big deal. [6:32] Treating Ebola patients himself, [6:35] going back to the 1960s [6:37] and leading this NIH team [6:38] that repurposed cancer therapies [6:40] to save the lives of people [6:42] with a fatal rheumatological condition. [6:45] The guy has done real stuff. [6:47] The diary is obviously incredibly embarrassing. [6:50] There are people at the highest levels of government, [6:54] certainly at this government, [6:55] who love it when someone famous [6:57] tells them something nice. [6:59] And I don't think that, you know, [7:01] we can hold that against him [7:03] as like a bad doctor [7:06] because he was into the fact [7:07] that Barbara Streisand [7:08] was asking him for advice. [7:10] But the totality of the COVID epidemic [7:15] is going to be on display for people. [7:17] And like I said yesterday, [7:19] it caused a huge fissure in this country. [7:22] Absolutely massive [7:24] where people fall on this, [7:25] what they think went too far, [7:27] what didn't go far enough. [7:28] And it made us all a little bit crazy. [7:31] I mean, I remember there was a time [7:32] where I thought it was like really cool [7:34] to identify as a Cuomo sexual [7:35] because he was giving [7:37] those great press conferences every morning [7:39] and the whole country was taking it, right? [7:41] In California, they'd wake up early [7:43] so that they could listen to Andrew Cuomo.
