[00:00:00] Tom: welcome back to the channel my name is tom and today i'm back with more from the may 2026 brimfield flea market so without further ado let's see what they got and don't forget if you like this video please give me a thumbs up subscribe to my channel leave a comment and hit that notification bell i've got a lot more flea market videos coming up and as i mentioned recently new subscribers to the channel are way down so if you do like my videos and you're not subscribed please just click that subscribe button it is completely free and it really helps out a lot thanks i have a world's fair one like this yeah las vegas too i don't know it's some sort of no they're not i think it's some sort of ceramic i'm not sure here's some old eight millimeter films look like a bunch of sports ones so not really super interesting to me and we've got some kiss on a track i think a track is the only type of physical media i don't have a single copy of never got into it i thought this was kind of neat this is one of those tiger electronics handheld video games this one's football and again not really into the sports as far as games or movies go so i did pass on this one it is unusual that it's in the original box you don't usually see that and as a result it was 25 dollars usually if these are not in the box
[00:01:37] Speaker 2: what is it factory store guide what is that is that the name of the store no it tells you where
[00:01:57] Speaker 3: there are different uh quinn's shirt shop yeah roosevelt mills hmm so as a lot of you probably know i collect
[00:02:07] Tom: radioactive items uh so uranium glass which is also called vaseline glass and especially fiesta wear and other ceramics that are this shade of orange because they do tend to be radioactive the only way to tell for sure though is if you have a geiger counter and some people have asked why do you collect this to collect this i just think it's cool that's really the only only reason
[00:02:33] Speaker 3: what is it niagara falls it's from ontario
[00:02:41] Tom: now let's get out the geiger counter and see if this actually is radioactive that clicking noise you hear indicates that it is radioactive and some people have asked me is it dangerous to have all this radioactive stuff in your house my understanding is no it's a low enough level of radiation that it's safe the only thing you don't want to do is actually ingest it or probably sleep with it under your pillow every day for the rest of your life okay that one's radioactive yeah it's sometimes the ivory ones are actually radioactive it says these are 12 each yeah
[00:03:55] Speaker 2: this one sounds very hot yeah oh wow 7500 oh that's huge
[00:04:08] Tom: have you ever had one that went that high no it's actually the highest and these are lightly radioactive so what's uh what's the best you could do on all four of these here those are 12 each i think okay yeah and then this was eight 40 bucks 40 yeah all right sounds good to me i think 40 bucks for that was a really great deal i have bought other stuff from him in the past also radioactive and he's always had great deals so if you're into that type of stuff check him out he's in the crystal brookfield which is where i am right now another thing that the crystal brookfield has a lot of are toy vendors there's at least three or four vendors like this so if you're into toys that's another reason to check out crystal
[00:05:01] Speaker 2: and probably because of all the hype around the new he-man movie which apparently is not doing too well in the theaters
[00:05:10] Speaker ?: um i'm starting to get back into more he-man stuff so over here he had a bunch of he-man figures from the new he-man movie
[00:05:16] Tom: and probably because of all the hype around the new he-man movie which apparently is not doing too well in the theaters um i'm starting to get back into more he-man stuff so over here he had a bunch of he-man figures from the 80s and these were all 50 off and what i was looking for specifically were figures that actually had their weapons because a lot of times when you find these he-man figures they don't have their weapons with them and that actually makes them worth quite a bit less money so i was looking for ones that had weapons and i did find three that met my criteria so the first one i found was whiplash that's this guy here and i don't know if he has all his weapons but he does have at least his main weapon there and then this one is mechanec who actually is in the new he-man movie and then finally i got this one whose name is too bad get it too bad hey i'll take these three so this was 16 16 18 so that's what 25 is half price yeah it's half half the sticker price yeah i'm just checking to see if it works yeah half sticker price too i love it i think it's eight eight nine is that right yeah 8 16 25 25 25 25 bucks
[00:07:12] Speaker 4: another good deal i do it once in a while when i i do it to like impress everybody you know like look at what records i got you know what i mean and we've got some more he-man figures this is roton
[00:07:25] Tom: which is the thing this guy's sitting in and then that is cyclone which seems to be missing something from his chest i think there was um an inset there at one point
[00:07:36] Speaker 4: right oh once you throw everything out that i'm telling you vcr tapes have had that huge turn it's crazy it's crazy like you used to not be able to give them away now they're going to bust no because everybody wants to throw them out
[00:08:07] Tom: i really like this transistor radio it's by ge it's got 76 on it so it's from the bicentennial in 1976 they're asking 35 bucks for it and i actually do have one that looks a lot like it except it's just completely beige there's no decoration on it and has anybody else noticed that compared to the bicentennial there's really not that much memorabilia out there for the 250th anniversary of the u.s they add five bucks on this smurf cup here which is a pretty good price but as you can see it's really yellowed that type of cup there has a real problem with yellowing because i've got a few of them and some of them are just starting to turn yellow i guess you can turn them back to bright white but it takes a lot of effort i was really considering buying these star trek starship models but for whatever reason i didn't most of them are from star trek discovery which was not my favorite star trek show at all but i still like the ships yeah they're not quite as iconic as the original ships or the ones from the next generation but good enough for me and i think these came out in like the early 2020s or so and most of these were priced at about 30 dollars which is a really good price too
[00:09:36] Speaker 2: i have to know the rest exactly what i need
[00:09:43] Tom: is it new kids on the block oh with one of the walbergs donnie walberg
[00:09:49] Speaker 3: you look pretty young there yeah
[00:09:55] Tom: glass bottom boat mermaid 10 10. it doesn't say but i would guess 60s maybe the 50s now we're heading into maize which is one of the more popular fields especially on opening day which is thursday so if you're coming here for maize just remember it does not open until thursday definitely smell hamburger or something so it was just about noontime at this point we were getting hungry so we did decide to get some lunch here at maize and i do recommend this their food is pretty good and one of the main benefits of maize is that they actually have seats a lot of the other places they do have seats but they're usually full and it's really hard to find anywhere to sit
[00:11:12] Speaker 2: huh
[00:11:15] Tom: cheeseburgers tuna egg salad hot dog meatball sub
[00:11:31] Speaker 2: hi folks how are you good how are you i'll have a hot dog sure anything else nope okay thank you thank you
[00:11:49] Tom: i'll pay for it
[00:11:51] Speaker 3: come up from a certain part of florida and i'll tell you i can tell the difference between them
[00:12:10] Tom: i didn't get it on camera but the hot dog i got was really good and my mom got
[00:12:14] Speaker 2: an egg salad sandwich and she said that was pretty good too so good times
[00:12:26] Tom: it says tea berry i can't read it whatever it said it was definitely uranium glass and it was a hundred twenty nine dollars and then this is a little so or exxon tiger bank probably from the 60s and they had it priced at 24
[00:12:50] Speaker 2: anything that has great um graphics actually i have one of these it's um top kind of
[00:12:58] Tom: at the time though i wasn't 100 sure what it was so i did look it up with google lens and it did come back as the so tiger and it seems like they tend to sell for about 20 to 25 dollars so it's priced pretty much exactly what it would cost on ebay for the most part
[00:13:15] Speaker 2: i love duck oh there
[00:13:22] Speaker 3: it's so amazing
[00:13:24] Speaker 5: they're baking stuff what was your name of the storybook yeah okay let me know because i can kind of everything's all over the place yeah so yeah i mean you can go through every single event
[00:13:41] Speaker 2: but i'm sure that's funny i sometimes have to as well yeah
[00:13:55] Speaker ?: i just want to get rid of it
[00:14:05] Tom: but here's a cup from mr donut and i don't think i've ever heard of mr donut before here's a plushie of the noid from dominoes this will come out most likely in the late 80s and they're only asking 20 bucks for it i actually
[00:14:40] Speaker 6: probably should have bought
[00:14:59] Tom: and then we've got a whole bunch of transformers here i think these are all g1 as far as i can tell i didn't see a lot of prices on these some of them are priced but that one there was not at least i didn't see the price tag and this is hot rod i definitely know who this guy is and he was 30 bucks which actually doesn't sound like a bad price when i was a kid in the 80s i played with the g1 transformers i was a little bit too old by the time the g2 line came out and this grimlock here is a g2 transformer so i think he came out in 93 and in 93 i was in high school so i wasn't playing with transformers anymore at that point ironically now i'm almost 50 and i am playing playing with them again
[00:16:39] Speaker ?: this is firefly from mask also a toy line that came out in the 80s
[00:16:44] Tom: this is firefly from mask also a toy line that came out in the 80s and i never had any of the toys but i did watch the cartoon in the morning before going to school and we've got a bunch of new kids on the block figures and i don't think i've seen these specific ones before so these would have been from about 89.90 and they're asking 15 a piece which again doesn't sound like a bad price to me i was never into the new kids on the block when they came out i hated them but i know a lot of people of my same age group really loved them and then this is kind of neat this is a go bots 35 millimeter camera it was 15 basically it's a regular 35 millimeter camera with some stickers of the go bots on it and we've got job of the hut from 1983 so this would have come out with the return of the jedi movie 20 bucks on that yeah and we've got more transformers and he-man figures so if that's your thing definitely check out this vendor we are still in the maze field at this point so again they're going to be open from thursday through sunday i really like that masters of the universe point dread and talon fighter there but he's in the original box so he's gonna be pretty expensive i'd say in that bag they're 10 each the other ones loose in the bin are five each for this street star wars cups these cassettes were pretty interesting i'm pretty sure these are rainbow bright and i think that's either in german or dutch i'm not sure which or it could be some other language so i don't know what they said but they seem to be uh storybook cassettes and there were a ton of them and it's funny i've been to so many flea markets and toy shows that i start to recognize the vendors buy their toys i remember this guy being at the uh mansfield drive-in flea market on opening day and i'm pretty sure i've seen them at a few toy shows as well so a lot of these guys are all over the place and over here we've got some vintage matchbox vehicles which seem to be mostly from the 70s and 80s which as i mentioned before is the period i'm most interested in yeah there's usually stuff over there how much are the matchbox uh i got five each in the military ones some of the corgis
[00:20:04] Speaker 2: might be ten but how about like that one
[00:20:18] Tom: i'll do five bucks for you five bucks yeah all right yeah i'll get that for five here's some more vintage star wars figures looks like these are from well that one's definitely from the return of the jedi and some of these i think are from the empire strikes back and also the original uh the hammerhead there that's an original from 78 he was 10 bucks i know i've said it before but i need to do more research on what the original star wars figures are worth because i have no idea i don't think it's i don't think it's official no california raisin is 15. okay thanks i have one of these but it's actually painted black like darth reader yeah it's that lights yeah i don't have that i just have yeah ceramic thing and they don't really have a dollar menu anymore i think they actually do but it's not what do you get yeah you don't get much so remember you should be able to get the the hamburgers i think even a double cheeseburger you get for a dollar oh wow but now it's like five
[00:22:02] Speaker 3: another mcmillian yep
[00:22:18] Speaker 2: oh my
[00:22:21] Tom: nintendo happy meal it's a hundred dollars all right i'm guessing this is an original animation cell from the he-man tv series in the 80s and if it is that would explain why it's three hundred dollars more toys this is also in the maze field so again if you're looking for toys they've got a ton of them at maze and i also recognize this vendor based on the toys i am fairly certain he was at the
[00:22:56] Speaker 2: manchester toy show back in march
[00:23:14] Speaker 6: yeah for the model bat plane ten bucks
[00:23:24] Tom: oh my god how are you guys good are you see a price that scares you let me know okay thank you
[00:23:39] Speaker 2: i don't have any girls left that's okay those are our original prints
[00:23:52] Speaker 5: i had a whole stack that's two or three that are left what are you asking on those uh my last two
[00:23:57] Tom: i was at 20 a piece i'll do all i'll do 30 for all of them okay
[00:24:04] Speaker 3: um i have a side show bob over here
[00:24:22] Tom: i definitely remember those michael jackson toys those are just crazy this caught my eye this is a data man calculator from 1977 so it's one year younger than me and i never had a data man as a kid but i do remember a lot of other calculators that looked like robots or other things like i had an owl calculator and something else i can't remember what it was but i thought this was really cool so i knew i had to get that if the price was right
[00:24:57] Speaker 2: that's a big deal and it was i freaking love that and then
[00:25:10] Tom: now this toy is definitely from the 80s or earlier because nowadays you can't sell kids anything that looks that realistic but back in the 80s in the toy section it looked like um it looked like an armory i i mean the toys looked real and nobody cares yeah actually how much is that data man calculator that gray one
[00:25:48] Speaker 2: i actually have the rest of the parts too i believe that goes with that does it five bucks five books all right yeah of course do that all right yeah i'll do that for five bucks
[00:26:19] Speaker 3: all right okay take care okay take care okay take care okay take care okay take care okay
[00:26:36] Tom: i know it's often a marketing gimmick but i just can't pass up the table that says 50 off here's a handheld video game this is football 3 and i actually have this one i think i actually bought it at this same vendor maybe a year or two ago and then this one is digital daredevil and i remember seeing this one here before but it was 40 bucks and like that's too much but at 50 off i'll take it the other way to be sure this is a driving game before you ever buy a game like this definitely check the battery compartment to see if the batteries have leaked and this one's completely clean i don't think i don't think i have this well it's on the 50 off table so here's something i don't see too often old atari 2600 and 7800 games in their original boxes and some of these are still sealed that one was 40 bucks which makes sense to me with it being sealed like that and then these are texas instrument ti 99 games 10 bucks each which i think i think this guy had them last year and they were the same price i believe this is defender it is 30 bucks in the box usually if i do see games like that in the box the boxes are usually all crushed and dirty and these look pretty much mint we've got some more handheld video games this one is football 2 by mattel so i think this came out in the early 80s it's 15 and i actually already have this one so i did pass on it but that one's in really nice condition and they've got two of them and that one's only 10 for some reason not sure why the price difference and then this one is baseball 3 which i do not have but sadly it had a huge crack in the top of it
[00:29:54] Speaker 2: hey this is on the 50 percent table all right i got some other games yeah yeah i saw those thanks a lot
[00:30:08] Tom: thanks a lot yep all right all right well that'll just about do it for this week's flea market video i hope you enjoyed it if you did please give me a thumbs up subscribe to my channel leave a comment and hit that notification bell i've got a lot more flea market videos coming up and i've got a lot of flea market footage so i might start posting some additional flea market videos during the middle of the week maybe if anybody wants to see that let me know in the comments but thank you all for watching i really do appreciate it and i'll see you next time
