I Couldn't Believe Some of the Deals I Found at the Lebanon Lions Club Flea Market! Part 1!

Sadly though, these are mostly from like the mid-80s to early 90s, which a lot of people call the junk wax era because they way overproduced the cards. So as a result, most of these are not worth a ton of money. There are some exceptions, but generally speaking, they're really not worth that much. Matchbox, $2 each. Because a lot of times I'll see these at other flea markets where they're trying to sell them for like $3, $4, $5 a pack. [00:02:59] Speaker 6: I know. My grants. [00:03:02] Speaker 1: Cards, singles. So I mean, that's $1 each for these? The ones I was most interested in were the ones from the 80s and early 90s by Topps, like this one here, RoboCop 2. Yeah. [00:30:26] Speaker 1: Oh, the ice follies. [00:30:28] Speaker 8: That was signed by Jerry Lewis. [00:30:30] Speaker 1: Oh. That's his signature there? [00:30:32] Speaker 8: Right there. And there's someone else's signature in there. I don't know his signature. I think it might be an actress or something that was there. They were in the show, but they were there. [00:30:41] Speaker 1: Yep. [00:30:42] Speaker 8: And that was an older friend of mine that was in the service, and he was at that show. Wow. And they signed his program. [00:30:50] Speaker 1: Interesting. [00:30:50] Speaker 8: And all the other things are vintage Christmas magazines from, I don't know, 46 to 64. [00:30:56] Speaker 1: Yep. [00:30:58] Speaker 8: Very good ads in there. People make art out of that. Yeah. Very good recipes. [00:31:03] Speaker 1: Yep. Yeah, neat stuff. [00:31:06] Speaker 8: Yeah. And then the ones in this bag, this box, are things that have been ripped out of them. Oh, okay. So I went through each magazine. Yep. Just to make sure that they were holding a little bit of them. [00:31:18] Speaker 1: Okay. [00:31:20] Speaker 8: All right. I've seen some of the work that people do with the ads, you know, like shadowboxing it. Yep. Making it into art. [00:31:28] Speaker 1: Yeah, that's neat. [00:31:29] Speaker 8: Bold ads in those days. [00:31:31] Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what? I think I'll get that for $5. Yeah. That sounds like a good price.
