[3:35] I've studied a lot of the solutions that I fight for, things like Medicare for all, [3:39] things like rethinking the way that our financial system implies that corporate CEOs [3:44] are more interested in a quarterly bottom line. [3:48] I'm simply not a socialist. [3:49] I don't know. [3:50] I mean, are the socialists getting worried about being socialist now, [3:55] seeing how far left things are going? [3:58] Well, look, he may believe in science, but he doesn't understand political science. [4:04] Let me say it again. [4:06] Socialism is for morons. [4:08] It's never worked anywhere. [4:51] Once a fringe wing, the movement is wielding surprising political power, [4:57] capitalizing on popular discontent. [4:59] Mainstream Democrats see a fundamental threat. [5:02] The socialists are capitalizing on what we have seen voters are saying that they want to see this radical change. [5:09] They seem to be answering the demand of voters, and that is very popular right now. [5:15] But will mainstream, mainstream Democrats be able to reign this in by the time of midterm elections? [5:22] Well, let me tell you something. [5:23] It's deeper and, and, and, and more entrenched than people realize. [5:27] Let's go back to 2016. [5:29] I mean, Bernie Sanders ran on, on this kind of platform. [5:35] The Democrat, had the Democratic Party not screwed him, he would have gotten the nomination. [5:40] They all got together and said, you know, we, we, we, we've got a torpedo Bernie because he's going to get this nomination and beat Hillary Clinton and then he's going to lose. [5:50] Now, I, you know, I think that's, that's just not, not just my opinion. [5:55] That's the opinion of a lot of people that have bigger brains than me. [5:58] So it's been around and now they're in control. [6:03] I mean, there's just no, there's no doubt about it. [6:06] It's, it's, it's, it's, it's not, I mean, the Plattner, AOC, Bernie Sanders, Governor, Mom, Donnie, you know, no disrespect, but pick your poison. [6:18] But Senator, it's not, it's not just those far left, and we had Pete Buttigieg on the program last week. [6:23] He's calling to expand the Supreme Court to pack it with those that agree with only their political beliefs. [6:30] I'll give you a final thought here on, on where this all may be going. [6:34] I mean, we're just, we're under a hundred days to midterm elections. [6:37] And how do Republicans champion their message based on all of this happening in the Democrat Party? [6:45] Well, number one, as I've said before, we need to stick with our game plan. [6:50] It's called Operation Let Them Speak. [6:54] The more they talk about the stuff, the better. [6:57] But number two, we, we have to talk about our beliefs, beliefs as well, and explain to the American people, they, they get it, why the, the, these new neo-socialists are not revolving in the same direction as planet Earth.
