[0:00] What is it like to have your ex-wife dating Dyke, Justin Trudeau? [0:04] I've put up with a lot with that ex-wife of mine, [0:07] but you took it too far, KP. [0:11] Orlando Bloom. [0:13] Yeah, respectable. [0:14] Legolas. I love that guy. [0:16] Yeah, good company. [0:18] Trudeau, though. [0:19] Potentially Fidel Castro's spawn? [0:22] No. There we draw the line. [0:24] It's horrible. [0:25] I did not like that Trudeau, [0:26] because, no, he's a child of God and he's beloved. [0:28] But what I will say is I didn't like it when he was having a go at them truckers. [0:31] I didn't like they kept blacking up inexplicably [0:33] and then sort of pretend to be ultra-woke. [0:35] He does have fantastic hair. [0:37] I didn't like it when they invited, I think, an actual Nazi [0:40] into the Canadian Parliament. [0:41] Yes, they did. [0:42] I specifically don't like what is typified by those good-looking politicians, [0:47] Obama, Macron, Blair. [0:49] They're sort of good-looking and they're charming. [0:52] But you think, who do you work for, really? [0:54] Who's running this? [0:55] Because it can't be you. [0:56] And I don't like that sort of pose of compassion [0:59] that's absolutely undergirded by selfishness. [1:01] Probably because I recognize it myself. [1:02] I'm so selfish sometimes. [1:04] But I don't like that. [1:05] The trucker bit is what got me. [1:07] They called them Nazis. [1:08] Yeah, it was ridiculous. [1:09] And they were just being sort of bold and brave and stuff. [1:11] So, yes. [1:12] Is she still going out with him? [1:14] Yeah. [1:14] We checked this morning and it appears that they are still together. [1:17] Keep checking. [1:18] She could come to her senses any minute. [1:20] It is disappointing, isn't it, when your ex gets together with somebody [1:24] who, like, doesn't make you look good at all. [1:26] Doesn't increase the average at all. [1:28] Look at the category I'm in now. [1:30] I'm in with Trudeau. [1:32] It'll be a relief to be in a rape trial. [1:34] See? [1:36] Phew! [1:38] Never lose your sense of humor. [1:40] Not even about the darkest things. [1:41] I can't take that away from you, baby. [1:43] Do you guys keep in touch? [1:44] She said you never contacted her again after you sent her a note [1:47] saying you wanted a divorce. [1:48] Look, that is true. [1:51] Wow! [1:52] Never anything, not a text? [1:54] I stay in touch with her father, Keith, and her mother, Mary, [1:58] because they're good Christian folks. [2:00] And I must say I feel a good deal of sympathy [2:03] with the recent allegations around Katie from 2010. [2:06] She's been accused of sexually assaulting Ruby Rose [2:09] by allegedly, like, exposing her vag to this gal's face, [2:14] which she's denied. [2:15] But there's a criminal inquiry underway in Australia [2:17] as a result of these allegations. [2:17] I read about that. [2:18] To me, that doesn't... [2:19] I mean, this is probably the old-school man in me. [2:22] I don't even hear the crime there. [2:25] What happened? [2:26] I don't even... [2:27] I can't even hear where it is. [2:28] Like, someone would have to poke me with a stick. [2:30] There! [2:30] That's the bit that's a crime. [2:31] Ah! [2:32] No 20-year-old girl wants another woman [2:35] rubbing her vag on her face uninvited. [2:38] That's the crime. [2:38] There it is, Russell. [2:39] I got it. [2:40] Thank you. [2:40] I got you. [2:41] Are you available for the trial? [2:43] The puck is coming. [2:45] Yes, I will come. [2:46] Thank you. [2:46] She denies. [2:48] Again, Katy Perry denies that she did this. [2:49] I didn't handle that marriage very well. [2:51] I can see in retrospect absolutely what the problem was. [2:52] In fact, I explained that in the book. [2:54] What it was was... [2:54] Well, you said you were married to celebrity itself. [2:56] I worked it out. [2:57] So how so? [2:58] Well, because I... [3:00] You know, look, when you fall in love with someone, [3:02] like, isn't it amazing to be in love? [3:04] Isn't it so amazing? [3:05] Well, imagine that sort of compounded with [3:07] everyone else acting like it's important. [3:09] It's like, oh my God, this is overwhelming. [3:11] Plus, she's a really lovely... [3:14] Do you know what there is about her? [3:15] She has an innocence. [3:17] She's a very beautiful person. [3:19] She's also incredibly driven and worked really, really hard. [3:22] I saw her working really, really hard. [3:24] Here's me taking total responsibility [3:25] for all the mistakes I made in that marriage. [3:27] I, like, wanted to grab her, like, kind of, [3:30] there, got it! [3:32] You know, like, I wanted... [3:33] I felt like I was inadequate and not enough on my own. [3:35] And so I saw this big, glorious thing. [3:38] And even though I knew her as a person as well, [3:40] as a person, she's just a normal person. [3:41] Like, everyone's a normal person. [3:42] You've been around famous people. [3:43] You know, who's famous when it comes to shower time, [3:46] picking your nose, scratching your ass? [3:48] Like, everyone just breaks down into mundanity [3:50] and flesh and fallenness in the end. [3:52] But she was really, really, really, really lovely. [3:54] But it was my fault because I pushed to get married early [3:57] because I felt inadequate and insecure [3:59] and, like, I wasn't enough. [4:00] And that if I was married to her, [4:02] that I would somehow be a better person [4:04] and more important. [4:05] And that put her under an unnecessary amount [4:08] of pressure and strain. [4:10] And then when she was unable, as a very young woman, [4:12] like she was 25 or 26, she was young herself there, [4:15] she couldn't fulfill those obligations [4:18] because she was quite rightly, one might argue, [4:20] certainly from a materialist and humanistic [4:22] and celebrity-oriented perspective, [4:23] pursuing her dream, which she successfully did, [4:26] of becoming the world's most famous pop star. [4:28] And when she was doing that, [4:30] I was in sort of a crisis of, like, [4:32] hold on a minute, I'm lonely and this isn't working. [4:34] This isn't working. [4:36] Why do I not feel, you've married a pop star. [4:38] I did it. [4:39] Come on. [4:39] Why is this not working? [4:42] So, um... [4:43] Do you feel like if she weren't a celebrity, [4:45] it could have worked? [4:47] Probably not because, like, [4:48] I was fated to marry my incredible wife, [4:51] Laura Brand, who is sort of who I already knew [4:54] and had already married. [4:55] But I didn't, you know, [4:55] I didn't learn the lesson then. [4:56] I went on to go out of Jemima Khan, [4:57] who was married to the now jailed [4:59] former leader of Pakistan, [5:01] who went out of Hugh Grant, a bunch. [5:03] She was like a billionaireess and glorious [5:05] and amazing hair and a 300-acre estate [5:08] and riches. [5:10] And I thought, yes, yes, this. [5:12] Then I will be okay. [5:13] Yes, that's it. [5:13] I got some of the details wrong. [5:15] It wasn't American pop star. [5:16] It was British aristocrat. [5:17] And then, of course, once again, [5:19] she's a human being, [5:20] and I, in my own foolish way, [5:22] objectified her. [5:23] So I had to learn that lesson. [5:25] Finally, I think now I have learned, [5:28] don't try to take things from people. [5:31] Just leave people alone. [5:32] Be happy in your marriage [5:34] and serve God as best you can. [5:37] And remember, you're going to forget that [5:38] all the time like an idiot [5:39] and go back to thinking life's about you. [5:40] But then you now hopefully [5:42] are part of a community. [5:42] See Jake there, who's with me. [5:44] I have people around me now [5:45] who are following God [5:46] in their own broken way. [5:47] And I just can look at them, [5:48] how they're doing it, you know? [5:50] Now, as I'm listening to you talk, [5:52] I have this fear [5:53] in the back of my head, Russell. [5:54] Oh no, what is it? [5:55] I'm worried about your criminal trial. [5:56] I don't think that you're going to get [5:59] a fair shake in Great Britain. [6:00] Oh no! [6:01] They love to put people in jail. [6:02] Oh no, I don't want to go to jail. [6:04] I know. [6:04] It's my strong preference [6:06] to not go to jail. [6:07] So what if you go to jail? [6:08] What kind of jail time [6:09] would you be facing [6:10] if the worst happened? [6:11] I don't know. [6:11] I mean, I think if you are convicted [6:12] of being a rapist, [6:14] you go to jail for a very long time. [6:15] A long time. [6:15] Which, if you are a rapist, [6:17] I think is only right [6:19] and only fair. [6:20] Yes, but what if you're not [6:22] and you get convicted anyway? [6:23] That's not fair. [6:24] That would be what we call injustice. [6:26] Thanks for watching this clip. [6:29] If you're new here, subscribe. [6:30] We got a whole lot more goodness [6:32] where that came from. [6:55] When the dollar's convertibility into gold [6:57] ended in 1971, [7:00] gold was fixed at $35 an ounce. [7:02] Fast forward to today [7:03] and the U.S. dollar has lost [7:04] more than 85% of its purchasing power. [7:07] Gold, on the other hand, [7:08] has increased in value by over 12,000%. [7:11] That's why major firms like Vanguard [7:13] and BlackRock [7:14] hold significant positions in gold. [7:17] And that's why you may want to consider [7:18] diversifying your savings [7:19] with physical gold [7:20] from Birch Gold Group. [7:22] But it starts with education. [7:24] Birch Gold just announced [7:25] their Learn and Earn Precious Metals event. [7:29] This free online event rewards you [7:30] for learning the basics [7:31] of investing in precious metals.
