RFK Jr GOES OFF on CNN's Dana Bash in fiery interview

[0:00] Well, if you missed this yesterday, you really missed some good fireworks. [0:03] Dana Basho over in CNN. [0:04] It was good TV, right? [0:05] It was wonderful TV. [0:06] It had RFK Jr. on, and they got into discussing vaccinations, and RFK, and in particular, [0:15] in the aftermath of Anthony Fauci's refusal to answer any questions in front of Congress, [0:22] trying to get to the bottom of how the COVID-19 lockdowns worked and how all that came to be. [0:28] And at one point, RFK Jr. starts grilling her and says, wait, is it your responsibility to [0:34] end vaccine hesitation, or is it your responsibility to actually tell the truth? [0:39] Here's a clip of that exchange. [0:42] We began censoring people in violation of... [0:45] But you're saying what not to do. I'm asking what to do. [0:49] But I want to talk about... [0:51] Well, that's something to do. That is the number one priority. [0:54] We protect the Constitution. The Constitution was written... [0:58] Forgive me, but you're just... You're talking about rights, and I'm asking about a potential [1:02] public health crisis that is coming. But I do want to... [1:06] And one of the mistakes we made in the last time [1:10] was suppressing those rights so people weren't being heard. [1:15] Doctors who were saying you're doing it wrong were being marginalized and vilified. [1:20] Yeah. Because, again, I really want to move on. [1:24] But you were saying... [1:26] Yeah, of course you want to move on. [1:26] Because you were part of the problem. [1:28] No, I wasn't part of the problem. [1:29] Yeah, there was absolute press malpractice. [1:33] You weren't allowing your job... [1:34] Mr. Secretary... [1:35] Your job... [1:35] Your job is a fierce skepticism toward authority. [1:40] And you weren't doing that. [1:41] Yes, I am. [1:41] You were beating up on people who were dissenting. [1:44] No. Okay. [1:45] Are you going to... [1:45] You want to sit here and attack me, or do you want to have conversations about public health? [1:48] You're sitting here and attacking me. [1:50] I'm not attacking you. [1:50] I'm asking questions about how to prevent the next... [1:53] And let me ask the question. [1:54] You're talking nonsense. [1:55] You're making assertions you can't support. [1:57] And then when I call you on there, you're telling me that I'm arguing. [2:00] Okay, do you want to talk about... [2:02] You want to talk about assertions that you can't support? [2:04] I'll get there in a second. [2:06] Let me just say, for the record, that I am not saying that the entire way that the COVID [2:10] reaction was accurate. [2:13] It was a scary time, and people made mistakes. [2:17] No, no, no, no. [2:19] A mistake is me putting on the wrong color tie. [2:23] These people decided that they were going to tell the public one thing, [2:28] but in their private journals, they knew the truth. [2:31] And so, I mean, I think this is what the American people are tired of. [2:34] We see a scandal, something that is harmful to not only the American people, [2:39] but their children as well. [2:40] They tell us all of these lies, and then when the facts come out, [2:44] they just want to move on. [2:45] And so there's never an atonement, Ainsley, [2:47] for the mistakes that they made during that period of time. [2:50] Well, here's the thing. [2:50] If you're going to have him on as a guest, just let him talk. [2:53] I want to hear what he has to say, because I don't trust the government after watching [2:57] Fauci in the Biden administration or in any of these Democratic administrations where [3:02] Republicans were saying, no, this is the truth. [3:04] And he's saying, if you take the vaccine, you will not get COVID. [3:07] Which was a lie. [3:07] If he gets COVID, then it's a lie. [3:09] Then we all did the vaccine, or many people did, and then got COVID after that. [3:12] So we listened to them. [3:14] Now I want to hear the other side. [3:15] I want to hear what RFK Jr. has to say. [3:17] He studies this. [3:18] In that exchange, he said, you're not an expert. [3:20] She said, well, you're not either. [3:21] You're not a doctor. [3:22] You're not a doctor. [3:23] But he is an expert on this. [3:24] This is what he does for a living. [3:25] And he has studied this. [3:27] And I just want to hear his point of view. [3:28] Yes, you can have another doctor on that can argue against it. [3:31] I want to hear them talk. [3:32] I want to hear the experts talk. [3:33] I just want to hear from him. [3:35] I mean, he's been the one that's standing up for our kids when it comes to the food, [3:38] getting dyes out of the foods. [3:40] I do want to hear from him. [3:41] And I trust him with much of this information. [3:45] Yeah. [3:45] And obviously, he asks a lot of troubling questions. [3:48] And he always has. [3:50] He did it with his law career before he got into government. [3:53] He's always asked very difficult questions about vaccines, about all this kind of stuff. [3:56] What I think is really interesting is if Dana Bash and these people want to talk about [4:00] the dangers of vaccine hesitancy, nobody did more damage to public health and raised more questions [4:08] about vaccine hesitancy than the government officials who pushed a vaccine that didn't work [4:14] and made promises, we now know they knew that it didn't work. [4:17] And Charlie, per capita, we fared the worst as a country compared to every other country [4:22] per capita. [4:23] We were the worst, America-wise. [4:25] But it also goes to the point also that RFK was making, because she keeps going at him [4:31] about asking these questions. [4:32] That used to be the media's job. [4:34] Yeah. [4:34] They used to didn't have lunch and dinner with the people that were in power. [4:39] They were the ones asking them the tough questions. [4:41] And maybe if they did their job the last time, we wouldn't be in this mess. [4:45] Meanwhile, we realized that Jake Tapper, which is at her network as well, was going back and [4:49] forth with Fauci making fun of us on our network about asking the tough questions. [4:55] So there's a lot of learning that needs to be done from this situation.
