[00:00:00] Pixel Dan: Oh, hey guys! It's me, Pixel Dan. I bet you thought I was He-Man. I get mistaken for him all the time. Anyway, guess where I am? I flew all the way to Germany to buy Masters of the Universe toys. Well, why would I do that? Well, that's because Los Amigos Toy Convention is happening. And as I hear it, the Germans love their He-Man. So, maybe I can find some rare stuff here. Come on, let's check this place out. Oh, I got to put the hair back. Hold on. Okay, let's go. That's right. Ed and I have come to Germany for the Los Amigos Convention. This is the last stop on my European tour for 2026, and it's a show that I was really excited to check out because it's an all-Masters of the Universe convention. And you know, I love my He-Man. Now, this convention is held in a three-story movie theater. It's a really interesting venue for a toy convention like this. There's all this really cool movie memorabilia all over the place. Plus, with them having access to theaters, they were even showing the 1987 movie, the current Masters of the Universe movie, and there was even one theater that just had filmation episodes running just all day long throughout the whole convention. It was a really unique way to experience a toy show. Very cool atmosphere. All right, let's go do some toy hunting. Ed, Ed, Ed, Ed. I just found the variant I've been looking for. Come with me. Come with me. This is it. This is the one I've been looking for. Do you think we could get this in the car? Like, you think? I think it'll fit in the car, but I mean... I can get this on the airplane, right? Here, help me pick this up. Mickey's got really nice furry shorts. I mean, come on, pick. We've got to take this. We've got to take this. This is the one I want. I came all the way to Germany for this. Let's go. Make sure nobody's looking. All right, weird merch. Look at this belt. I also love seeing these German VHS tapes. And look at this book. That's rad. 15. Oh, nice. Well done, sir. It's going to be... He's coming home with me. Goodness, look at all this card advantage. A bunch of new adventures here, too, which is really awesome to see. We'll see you next time. I'll see you next time. I'm going to see you next time. I'm going to see you next time. I'm going to see you next time.

[00:04:34] Pixel Dan: I'm going to see you next time. I'm going to see you next time. I'm going to see you next time. I'm going to see you next time. I'm going to see you next time. I'm going to see you next time. I'm going to see you next time.
[00:04:41] Speaker ?: I'm going to see you next time.
[00:04:42] Pixel Dan: I'm going to see you next time. I'm going to see you next time. I'm going to see you next time. I'm going to see you next time. I'm going to see you next time. I'm going to see you next time. I'm going to see you next time. I'm going to see you next time. I'm going to see you next time. I'm going to see you next time. I'm going to see you next time. I'm going to see you next time. Oh, the whole birthday party. You know what's funny? I have like all of this. I have the whole birthday party thing. Although, I don't think I have this. Candy cups. Yeah, I don't have candy cups. That's fun. Oh, that's awesome. That is really good. Oh, that's really awesome. Is that 3D printed? Yes. Yes. That's really, really cool. Oh, I like this too. They made a Shira Meteor.
[00:05:38] Speaker 3: Yeah. Because Shira was for only a cartoon where they arrived. Yeah.
[00:05:45] Pixel Dan: Yeah, yeah. Oh, come on. That is amazing. Oh, like a gigantosaur box.
[00:05:53] Speaker 2: It's not a repro. It never came out.
[00:05:55] Pixel Dan: It never came out. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, it's like a mock gigantosaur box. Dude, could you imagine if this thing came out? No, this thing would have been absolutely enormous. Yeah, look. Look at that.
[00:06:06] Speaker 3: Look at that.
[00:06:11] Pixel Dan: That's cool. Actually, you know the story with this guy, right? Yeah, yeah. Skirt robot. He was unproduced.
[00:06:18] Speaker 2: Yeah. He was also just a sheet within the Toy Fair catalog. Yeah.
[00:06:22] Pixel Dan: He was added at the last one. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then I have bootlegs at home. Look, I have the squirt robot, like bootleg, which is the exact same mold, but with a different head.
[00:06:31] Speaker 2: Okay. He's gonna be part of the Evil Horde. Yeah.
[00:06:36] Pixel Dan: And then there's like back and forth on if he was actually part of the Evil Horde or one of Skeletor's because depending on which one of these little things you see, some of them say that he works for Skeletor, but he clearly has the Horde logo on him. So, it's like... Yeah.
[00:06:53] Speaker 3: It's really funny.
[00:06:58] Pixel Dan: Yeah, see it actually says, "Just when you thought Skeletor and his henchmen couldn't get more horrible, this evil robot stalks on the scene." Watch out. The latest revolting recruit to the Evil Warriors. So, like, this right here refers to him as working for Skeletor, but then he's got the Horde logo all over him. Which, to me, tells me that whoever wrote the copy didn't quite know. Right? Like, whoever... The two-pack.
[00:07:31] Speaker ?: Wow.
[00:07:32] Pixel Dan: He-Man. He-Man and an Evil Mutant. Three Polhaka Slash.
[00:07:37] Speaker 2: Buy one, get one for him. Yep.
[00:07:39] Pixel Dan: That's awesome. Here's the He-Man with the cassette tape, too. Which is kind of a rare bowling. This is a cool thing to see at a German Motu convention, is the audio plays. I've talked about these before, but this is where most of the stories came from in Germany for Masters of the Universe. There's a whole pile of them. Oh, the Golden Girl. Oh, look! Soap! Golden Girl Soap and Golden Girl Talc. Look at that.
[00:08:12] Speaker 2: Crystar.
[00:08:13] Pixel Dan: Oh, and you found Crystar stuff? Ooh, Crystar. Crystar, Crystar. Yeah. Either way. I always say Crystar. Hey, this one for Greco. I make the best prize. The best prize. You take all of them?
[00:08:24] Speaker 2: Oh, there you go, Ed. What's it coming? I already have these two. Yeah. I actually have all three of them. You have all two? Awww.
[00:08:32] Pixel Dan: That's a rare one. Look, there's like, there's three of those up there. Look at the Dutch one and the journey one.
[00:08:41] Speaker 2: A Dutch one again.
[00:08:42] Pixel Dan: Unbelievable.
[00:08:45] Speaker 2: That's him, yeah. Is that him? That is one. There's a couple in here. Oh, you need this piece for your--
[00:08:51] Pixel Dan: Oh, no, I don't, but that's a good piece. Yeah. Oh, here's the other one, Ed.
[00:08:56] Speaker 2: That's the other one? Mm-hmm.
[00:08:58] Pixel Dan: Let's see, they both don't have their accessories. He's got the thing, but he's missing them. Yeah, but he's still missing bits.
[00:09:04] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[00:09:05] Pixel Dan: But, like... I'm gonna keep looking around today, but these are two that I'm after. These are end-of-the-line new adventure stuff that are much more prominent over here than back home.
[00:09:17] Speaker 3: Mm, okay.
[00:09:18] Pixel Dan: Well, it's good to know that there's some in the building, right? It's good to know. Oh, that's so cool. That is a really good idea. Amazing. And they were molded from, like, the minifigure cases, which is so smart. That's one way to stay fresh. Yeah. Great still fresh. Wow.
[00:09:37] Speaker 2: Oh, the candles.
[00:09:40] Pixel Dan: Oh, and it's the rocks that they're burning. Rock-On and, uh... Rock-On and Stonedar? I love that. That is... Christmas. So this young fan was making candles and soaps that were all Masters of the Universe themed, and I had to pick up this Rock-On candle. I thought this was so creative. I love seeing creativity like this, especially from younger fans of these franchises. This is so cool. I was really happy to bring this back home with me. And let me just take this moment to talk about some of the other really cool things that I happened to pick up while doing some shopping here. One of the things that I absolutely love is this stack of German Masters of the Universe comic books. Oh, these might be some of my favorite things that I picked up at this show. The artwork alone on the covers of these books is amazing. But even all of the artworks seen throughout the comic issues, sure, I can't read any of this, but they are so pretty to look at and just a very, very unique addition to my collection. I also ran into Axel Jimenez. Axel is a current artist doing stuff on the Masters of the Universe Origins toy line and much more with Mattel. In fact, several of the figures that they've made, a lot of the Snake Men characters, etc., have been based on some of his designs. And I picked up his book. This is Axel Jimenez and Leonardo Vega, Kings of the Snake Men, written by Timo Mrazek. A very cool book, and it is filled with concepts and artwork. A lot of the stuff that has been translated and become official with Masters of the Universe. So it was really cool running into Axel and chatting with him. And another amazing artist that I met is Simon Eckert. He's also doing artwork on official product right now. He's done a lot of stuff on the Masterverse packaging, and he gave me one of the most amazing gifts ever. This is the original pencil art for the Masterverse New Eternia Mosquito. So look, I have a boxed Mosquito right here. You can see that's the artwork on the front of the box that I now own the original pencils for. Just absolutely amazing. Just such generosity. So many cool people that I met at this show. Okay, now let's get back to the toy hunting. And I notice that Strong Vision's booth is being set up. Now we were just at the Strong Vision's shop. And he told us that he was bringing all the best stuff to the show. Let's go see.
[00:12:16] Speaker 2: All the good stuff is apparently at the booth here.
[00:12:19] Pixel Dan: That's what he told us when we were at the store. He was like, I've already packed up all the good stuff. You'll see it at the convention. Let's see if we can deliver. Let's see what the good stuff is. He's got the good stuff.
[00:12:29] Speaker 2: These are just in big bins. That's insane.
[00:12:32] Pixel Dan: $200? $200. That's a good price. That's not too much different than I paid, and mine was missing this. Look at this. And so that's like, that's complete. I can't believe that I'm just pulling these out of dig bins. Seriously. I never see these. Quick side note before I finish digging in this bin. On our way to this convention, Ed and I stopped at a retro video game store, which happened to have some vintage toys. Which is where I found a Skeletor with the scuba tack. I got it for a really good price. This is a very obscure end of the line item that you don't find too often in the U.S. And I was so happy to pick it up at the time and add it to my collection. And now, well, I'm finding more of these. So let's get back to that dig bin. Ooh, there's the pink armor mechanic. 85. Oh yeah, look at that. Mexico. Pink armor. Oh, there's another one. Look at you. 150. Oh, that's really good. That's complete. That looks complete. Dang, man. We got to find out if there's more of these in here. I don't enjoy this being in like a dig bin. I know, right?
[00:13:44] Speaker ?: I want to put that out there.
[00:13:45] Pixel Dan: Oh. 150. All three. All three.
[00:13:49] Speaker ?: Look at this.
[00:13:50] Speaker 2: How much could you do for this dig bin? Look at this.
[00:13:52] Pixel Dan: I was going to say like this is like this is the kind of stuff that I would definitely buy.
[00:13:57] Speaker ?: But I just already bought this one.
[00:13:58] Pixel Dan: I know. Just without this. Do you want those? You need this one, Ed? I like it. It's really cool. I kind of want to get it with the box because the box art is so cool. The box art is beautiful. I wouldn't mind coughing up another 100 to get one in the box. Yeah. No, that makes sense. That makes sense. That makes sense. That makes sense.
[00:14:12] Speaker ?: Plus, I don't have room to display anything so. I'm kind of interested in these. These are cool.
[00:14:14] Pixel Dan: 150 on both of them. I think they're cool. 150 on both of them. I think they're cool. I think they're cool. Yeah.
[00:14:20] Speaker 2: I think they're cool. I think they're cool. I think they're cool. I think they're cool.
[00:14:24] Pixel Dan: I think they're cool. I think they're cool. I think they're cool.
[00:14:27] Speaker 2: I think they're cool. It's cool. I think they're cool. I think they're cool. I think they're cool. I think they're cool. I think they're cool. I think they're cool. I think they're cool. Yeah.
[00:14:37] Pixel Dan: I think they're cool. 150 on both of them. I think they're cool. 150 on both of them. So, if I get these two, that would complete the trio loose for me. Yes. And that's pretty awesome. Yeah. I don't get cool. Like, do the Spanes have, like, real variations? I don't know. Or is it just, like... So, the flocking is definitely more... Look at how... More prominent. Yeah, look at how... He's very, very much... That's why he's 150. Yeah. But, yeah, he's very, very flocked. But, that is cool. He's a furry boy. Furry boy. But, yeah, he's like the same price as these. Wow. That's pretty nuts. This is just my weakness, Ed. There's just too much cool stuff here.
[00:15:22] Speaker 4: There he is. There he is. You were right. All the good stuff is here. Yes, yes. If you want to go back, it's no problem. If you want to go back. Okay, great. He wants... Much more common. Ah, Ed is already there. This is what you found, Ed.
[00:15:38] Pixel Dan: Right?
[00:15:39] Speaker 2: Yeah. Do you know about these? I have seen these... These were, like... I think, for, like... Tank stops, or, like, pharmacy shops. And they wanted, like, smaller packaging.
[00:15:49] Speaker 4: Okay, okay. And... Some years ago, an older lady contacted me. We were from there. I have some Target stuff for sale. I said, yes, okay. Can you send me pics? What's up? I don't have WhatsApp, so... Okay. And we managed that her son send us pics. I don't know. I think you got some of them.
[00:16:08] Speaker 2: I have one of them. Yeah, because...
[00:16:10] Speaker 4: I bought... It was, like, 15? Or do you think? How about the upcode? And we went to the Toyplotion. And we drove much farther. Because there was a lady with all the... The boxed stuff from this. Oh, cool.
[00:16:21] Pixel Dan: This is awesome. Can you... Yep. I just can't believe we're running into so many of these here. Yeah. This is insane to see... So many of these two-packs of the cassette tape. Have you already had someone else? One here? There's a table up there that has three of them.
[00:16:38] Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, yeah. It's high, high, high. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:16:41] Pixel Dan: Okay, okay, yeah, yeah. These are some crazy rare packs right here. This has got one of my favorite vintage pieces of artwork on it. The Skeletor and Screech two-pack. You got this amazing artwork up here of Skeletor perched with Screech, like, on his arm. You can see the Screech has kind of fallen over in the box. But still, that's incredible. And then we've got Tila and Zoar. Again, unique box art. Like, that you don't really see anywhere else except for this incredibly rare two-pack. And then next to that, this is really rare as well. This is the French Mossman. Super Mossor. It's got the yellow border around the blister card. And then, like, the Mossman itself. Like, look at it. He's another one that looks, like, extremely flocked. And it's just a little poofier. And flocking looks a little different. But seeing it on cards is pretty amazing.
[00:17:38] Speaker 4: I'm making $250 for both.
[00:17:40] Pixel Dan: Oh, yes. 100%. Thank you so much, my friend. No problem. You want to pay by card? Card would be best on this. Yes, thank you. $250 for both?
[00:17:49] Speaker 4: I sold, um, Tough Head. He bought a lot of those from me. Did he really? Oh, heck yeah. They're pretty rare in the U.S.
[00:17:58] Pixel Dan: Yes, yes. That's what I mean. Like, it's blowing my mind that you guys have dig bins with these in them.
[00:18:03] Speaker 4: No, that's not a dig bin. Oh, you just haven't put it out yet.
[00:18:06] Pixel Dan: So we saw a couple more upstairs, though, just, like, in bins on tables. And I'm like, I never, yeah, like, that's crazy. I still can't believe I found these in a dig bin. Now, he did say that that wasn't technically a dig bin. It was stuff that he was still putting out. But I am so happy that I ended up getting both the Cliff Climber and the Tower Tools to go with that scuba tack that I picked up on the way here, giving me all three of these very rare, very expensive pieces from the end of the Masters of the Universe line. Like I said, these things didn't get wide release in the U.S., so they sell for a lot higher when you find them here in the U.S. I mean, just looking at some of the eBay recent sold listings, even just pieces like the armor or the feet pieces go for crazy money. Not to mention complete sets. So I think I got a real bargain on these, and this is the exact kind of thing I am so happy to come to Europe and find to add to my collection. Now, the show is about to open. We had to do all of our shopping before the doors opened, so I needed to head up to my booth, and this is where things got crazy. Look at how many people showed up for you, Dan. This is a lot of people. There was a huge turnout, and I gotta say, I had an absolutely amazing experience at the Los Amigos convention. Truth be told, I would have loved to spend some more time shopping and seeing what else I could find, but I can't complain about being so busy at my table because people were there to see me. I am blown away by how many people came out just to meet me, to talk to me, to have me sign copies of their books, to take pictures with me. It was just an amazing way to end this whole trip to Europe. So to all of the German fans who approached me on that day and talked to me or took time to speak with me, take pictures with me, thank you so much. I truly, truly appreciate it. This was an amazing journey, and I can't wait to do it again.
