NEW LEGO STAR WARS 2027 Leaks EVERY CONFIRMED SET!

[00:00:00] Speaker 1: Welcome back to Jedi Bricks. Now, 2027 is shaping up to be one of the biggest years in LEGO Star Wars history. And so today, I have put together every single confirmed 2027-releasing LEGO Star Wars set into one full, complete, definitive guide. Also, don't forget, I am giving away a free sealed UCS Django Starship on the 25th of August, so make sure to get your entry in. But with that out of the way, let's get straight into things and kick things off with January. So first up is set 75463, a Luke's X-Wing microfighter with just 120 pieces and a price tag of $15. Certainly, it's nothing revolutionary, but it is a nice cheap entry point into the 50th anniversary of Star Wars, and at least it's $15 and not $1,500. Next up, we have something a little bit more exciting with set 75464, Anakin's Jedi Starfighter with 160 pieces and a retail price of $30. Now, the 5-plus age rating unfortunately tells us that this is probably going to be a pretty small, simple-to-build Anakin's Jedi Starfighter and not the detailed update we want, maybe even capturing a Clone Wars appearance. We then have set 75466, a Darth Vader art set, an 18-plus display model with 628 pieces for $60. We don't know exactly what form the model will take, but this set is reportedly part of the 50th anniversary collectible poster tile lineup. Throughout 2027, selected sets are going to be including these poster tiles, recreating the Star Wars movie posters in Lego form. It is currently believed that this Vader set will include Episode 5, The Empire Strikes Back. And then moving on, we have one of my favourites for January, which is set 75470, the Jewel on Mustafar, coming in at just 372 pieces with a $40 price tag. Now, at under 400 pieces, this clearly isn't going to be some enormous location. But that's probably a good thing. Give us the lava platforms, some height, a strong display composition, and updated versions of Anakin and Obi-Wan. And this could be exactly the sort of affordable Jewel playset that all of us fans have been asking for. And importantly, this Mustafar set is going to include the first of the collectible 50th anniversary minifigures. You can check out my full video diving into all of them in detail, but these are all based of Ralph McQuarrie's early concept art designs. And inside Mustafar, we have the Jedi Han Solo concept minifigure, which could turn out to be very interesting. But for $40, this Jewel on Mustafar set could easily be January's biggest win. Next up, we have set 75476, the Endor Battle Pack, retailing at $30. We don't have a reliable minifigure count confirmed just yet, but Endor gives Lego plenty of possibilities. $30 is definitely pushing the limit of a battle pack, though, unless this is a super battle pack and the nostalgic days of a $10 Lego Star Wars battle pack are so long gone, I can't even see them anymore. And then we get to 75478, the Y-Wing Starfighter. This one contains 676 pieces and retails for $80, again releasing January 1st. Now, a proper Y-Wing returning to the play scale lineup is already welcome, and the roughly 700 piece count should give Lego enough room to make this substantially more detailed than some of the smaller Starfighters we've been getting recently. But the really cool part here is another of the 50th anniversary collectible minifigures. The Y-Wing is where we are going to be getting the Luke Starkiller anniversary figure, based on the early conceptions of Luke's character. This is exactly the kind of deep-cut lore minifigure that I personally love to see. Moving on, because next up we have another set that could be huge, with set 75480, the Bespin Duel, clocking in at 718 pieces for $80, and again, believed to be releasing on January 1st. This will, of course, be visiting the iconic confrontation between Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker Skywalker in the Empire Strikes Back, but at more than 700 pieces, this could be significantly more substantial than any Bespin Duel sets we've seen in the past. And rather fittingly, in this case, it includes another of the 50th anniversary minifigures. In this case, it is Darth Vader, who is the space-themed Macquarie concept design. So just like that Mustafar set between the setting and the anniversary figure included, this could be one of the strongest display sets of the January lineup. But next up, we have set 75483, the upscaled Luke Skywalker minifigure with 981 pieces for $100. This continues Lego's giant brick-built minifigure concept. We've just seen Darth Vader, but this time it's X-Wing Luke. The most important thing in this set for me is another of those 50th anniversary minifigures, and this time it is the female prototype Luke Skywalker minifigure. The actual giant Luke is not something that I would necessarily buy or personally want for my collection, but Lego putting obscure concept characters into these sets is going to make them much harder for collectors to skip on. We also have, coming on January 1st, set 75495, a concept art Stormtrooper helmet. We don't know too much about this one just yet, but if it leads to more concept-designed helmet and display sets, that could be an interesting angle. And finally, for January, we have the buildable Master Yoda set 75474, which is reported to have around 1200 pieces and be retailing for $150. But once again, Lego seems to be hiding the really interesting thing, the concept minifigure inside this slightly less exciting set. Here we have the concept art Chewbacca, which was actually also used to inspire Zeb Aurelios in Rebels. So I have high hopes for how this minifigure will turn out. But moving on, because just when you thought the 50th anniversary of Lego Star Wars couldn't get any stranger, we have had a brand new set leak in just the last 24 hours, with set 75481, the Iron Falcon. Now this is, of course, a Star Wars X Marvel crossover set, which I believe is being released a time with a new Star Wars and Marvel comic series. We don't have a price, a piece count, or a release date just yet, but the confirmed minifigure line-up is genuinely insane. We have Captain Alderaan, and we have Hulk Bakker. Now Hulk Bakker is probably going to be the most exciting, seeing as that is likely to be a big figure of Hulk's body with Chewbacca's head. Now moving into April 2027, and this is where things get a little bit more confusing, because first we have a cluster of sets connected to Lego's new SmartPlay system. We don't have enough information, and I just don't care enough about SmartPlay to dedicate a huge amount of time to these sets. So here is your full SmartPlay wave. We also had leaked in the last 24 hours that there will be a SmartPlay AT-AT, which also includes the Smart Brick, which means that AT-AT and the Battle of Hoth are really the only standouts there for me. Alongside the SmartPlay, there are three sets tied to the new Ryan Gosling-led Starfighter movie. We have set 75, 471, 472, and 473, and I assume we should be getting the signature ship of whatever that will be in this movie. Moving into much more interesting things for April now, we have set 75, 468, the George Lucas tribute. This is an 18+8 with 523 pieces, expected to release on April 1st. This is reported to be a Tatooine, behind-the-scenes, filming diorama, including George Lucas and a couple of original trilogy characters. And this George Lucas tribute is also set to include another of those collectible anniversary poster tiles, in this case, Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Then we have easily one of the most interesting and nostalgic LEGO Star Wars sets that I've seen leaked in over a decade. And that is set 75, 469, the Star Wars Movie Theater. An 18+ model containing 1,628 pieces and retailing for $200. Rather than just remaking another vehicle or location, LEGO seems to be leaning into the anniversary itself here, giving us a really interesting adult display piece based around the cinematic history of Star Wars. And this movie theater set is particularly important if you're wanting to collect those anniversary movie tiles, because this will be including two of them, with Episode I: The Phantom Menace and Episode IV: A New Hope. Keeping things moving with April here, we then have set 75, 477, The Icons of Star Wars, containing 445 pieces for $70. We don't know exactly what the build will consist of, but it has been reported that it will include a couple of different micro-fighter style builds, including the Death Star. Most importantly, this is where the 50th anniversary C-3PO minifigure is believed to be included. This C-3PO was actually based by Ralph McQuarrie off the 1927 film Metropolis, which is a very interesting kind of futuristic look at what robots might have been like back in the 70s. But now at last, we get onto one of these sets that I'm going to be watching the most closely, and that is set 75, 494, The Updated Cloud City. We currently don't have a trustworthy final piece count or price point, so I'm not going to pretend that we do. But what we do have is a confirmed minifigure line-up of Leia, Han Solo, Boba Fett, Bando Calrissian, and Darth Vader, alongside another of the 50th anniversary concept minifigures. In this case, it is R2-D2. We had the original 10123 Cloud City all the way back in 2003, and then the Betrayal at Cloud City MBS style set in 2018. For me, this is easily one of the most exciting sets on the entire 2027 list. But now we get to move into May and the first major UCS release of 2027, which is set 75, 475, the UCS TIE Advanced. Yes, Darth Vader's TIE Advanced is finally returning to the UCS line-up. The last UCS collector version was set 10, 175, Vader's TIE Advanced released all the way back in 2006. So by 2027, Lego will be revisiting a design it hasn't touched for nearly 20 years. And look, if Lego gets the dimensions and the cockpit right on this TIE Advanced, it could be one of the best looking UCS Imperial ships they've ever made. This set is also reported to include the Episode 2, Attack of the Clones poster tile, which is a pretty interesting inclusion. But it kind of means that prequels fans have to buy it to get the tile, and original trilogy fans will be buying it to get Vader's TIE. I'm sure there will be more sets released for May 1st and May 4th celebrations, but moving on to June 1st here with set 75, 465, the midi-scale Death Star 2. This will join Lego's Starship collection, the midi-scale ship line, and this Death Star is where you will find the Episode 3, Revenge of the Sith, collectible movie poster tile. Moving into the rest of 2027, this is where things get a lot less concrete and a lot more exciting. We still have reports of a potential Ewok Village set retailing at around $180, although its final set number, piece count, and release date remain unclear. We are also expecting a buildable Captain Rex, which I covered fully in this video here, but that does appear to be how Lego is continuing the buildable character line-up after the recent Boba Fett. And then we arrive at the monster, because we already know that the October 1st, 2027, Lego Star Wars set for the 50th anniversary of Star Wars is going to be a $1,000 Millennium Falcon. At face value, it is an absolutely insane proposition. The current UCS Millennium Falcon has been around since 2017 and contains 7,500 pieces. By October 2027, it will have had an extraordinary 10-year run. So, if Lego was ever going to replace it, the 50th anniversary of Lego Star Wars probably is the right time to do it. Plus, now that Lego has released a $1,000 Lego set, they're not going to be letting go of that any time soon, and the Millennium Falcon is of course the next logical option to follow the Death Star. But replacing an already enormous, almost 8,000 piece UCS Falcon presents one major problem. What can Lego possibly add? A better interior? More shaping? More accurate proportions? A bigger minifigure line-up? Over 9,000 pieces at least? But stepping back here to take a look at the full picture for 2027 so far, we can really see what Lego is trying to do. But finally, here we do have one slightly depressing update. Where is the Bounty Hunter Speeder Pursuit? Now, the Bounty Hunter Speeder Pursuit leak that we've been discussing on the channel seems to have completely disappeared. And that genuinely sucks. Of all the potential remakes that we could have been getting, and that we do seem to be getting in 2027, a Bounty Hunter Pursuit with an updated Zam Wessel and those speeders was by far at the top of my list for nostalgia and hype. So that is where Lego Star Wars stands with the 50th anniversary of Star Wars, your complete definitive guide. Mustafar Cloud City and the UCS TIE Advanced are probably the three sets to watch for me, but there is a lot here.
