[00:00:00] Speaker 1: all righty hello everyone and welcome to the live stream here for monday the 19th of october can you believe we're already here guys it is pretty wild quick risk disclaimer before we get started of course today's stream is educational in nature but how you're doing how was your weekend what a week last week hey core weave figma anthropic earnings guys this week we have more tech we've got meta which is a bit strange with with netflix and tesla and then of course we continue our earning season coverage into next week which is also going to be massive wow wow wow wow what are you thinking guys put some comments in the chat what are you feeling on this market are you bullish or bearish this week let me know we'll give a couple of shout outs as we cover the beginning also shout out ray mitch satsen chick man beads jano billy vincent a kit and uh tal and john welcome guys great to have everyone here please do give a stream a like as well we've had a bit of a change and of course times due to daylight savings around the world so it does help just to remind people that we're doing these live streams and that is much appreciated all right so some comments are coming in from you guys you seem to have a pretty good weekend uh your voice has gotten deeper since last year says pink tree i don't think so i'm just talking closer into the mic so uh that will change things uh but yes all right let's begin here with core weave because of the conditions in the ai world we're obviously dealing with a couple of things of interest last week we saw an inflation number and it sent the market yields down now why well of course it was a higher inflation yield basically we saw higher inflation big problems yet the yields went down that's telling you that there's a concern here in the growth side remember where we've got inflation we've currently got growth that growth is driven by ai capex spend and with companies like core wave coming under pressure from the market uh there are serious concerns to be had of course as always you want to be looking at the price action more than anything else so because overall yes we wiped 2.1 trillion dollars off semiconductors yes the markets took a little bit of a bath but there's always that other side of the thing the table which is okay but is it really the time where markets are full-on panicking so let's begin i guess with this socks all chart we did see massive flows if you watched the weekend video i popped out just a few hours ago that will have shown you that this was the largest inflows we've ever seen into socks and it's not even close take a look at that weekly massive inflows now that comes off the back of semiconductors doing pretty poorly so if you look at any chart the cost fee we've got the cost fee here this is the south korean market almost every single one of these came down to its supports so you'll notice that we have like supports on cosby supports on the queues supports on technology stocks magnificent seven still holding up for now as in it's a high a low a higher high and kind of like equal low at this point and there was a lot of you know questions being asked into the late part of last week but the biggest thing i think of all is probably the anthropic slowdown because as we got news of inflation we also saw anthropic come out or at least reportedly and they've seen a slowdown in their growth they went from like 140 plus percent in a quarter so big big big numbers to like a 40 plus percent and while that's still an incredible number for any business you know these aren't any businesses these are the ai businesses the llms unlimited demand remember we're told so therefore they have to kind of live up to expectations and this of course was already sniffed out by the market and you might notice it's pretty significant stuff over negative 20 on the cost fee we obviously saw the eight days in a row semiconductor drop so if we have a look here at semis it was actually nine in the end and uh pretty rare times i think we only had about six times you got one two three four five six seven eight and if you can believe it nine down and uh as we talked about where did we think it might get to in terms of finding problems or at least some form of support well if you know your technical analysis you would know this is a bit of a level and therefore it's probably no surprise to see a bounce the question will become is it a real bounce so i ask you in the chat is there more bad stuff to come or is this just a bit of a flash in the pan cell because uh it is happening in the arguably the most important backbone to the ai run market sector hynix sandisk hardware stocks semiconductors you know they've all had that mass peak back here in june they've all dumped since that point rallied and now getting pressure put on them and i think this is really a big question mark we've we've kind of stayed away from that if you've been watching for a long time even if you've just knew one of the things that we talked about was that we expected some kind of kangaroo style market and that was because in previous circumstances where the market loses this kind of percentage it can rally but it tends to do what it's done right now rallies comes down rallies comes down kind of floats around and if it's bad bad then it can go of course shocking otherwise it tends to burn time and time becomes the big issue all right what do you guys think retail doesn't have the money for those inflows says robert well it's only one etf so it's um not not the the whole picture i don't think robert but i get what you're saying uh then we've got here john says anthropic market is hitting the edges of previously unknown market pool um for their wares okay interesting hi hello volatility can the news get any better great question so something we've often posed throughout the last years you know can the news get any better so so far it's been able to we've had we've had ai all sorts of good stories over time but can the news get any better where else can we get growth from in the ai world great question leaning towards distribution from tx redband so that's for the s p or for possibly even the semiconductors so they're for a sideways market feels like dead cat bouncing coming hopefully i'm wrong however says satson it's going to struggle have to stick to what you know says chris i think that's always important lesson in these times and why is oil dumping now how much is oil actually down it's only down one and a half so i wouldn't really call it dumping yet but we'll look at that soon sideways not always yeah so look for now the semiconductors market look it hit the first technical support the cosby hit the first technical support i'll just show you the cues so you get a bit of an idea here of what i'm getting at most traded zone covered in the weekend video the magnificent seven so if we take a look at the mags this is mag spy go back to here here's the magnificent seven so you'll notice most important subsector this is pretty much the s p it's dragging it along that high low higher high and an equal low so again correlation there and then if we get the technology sector most traded area so i have it all planned because of course this was all part of today's weekend video but the thing about this is it's it's interesting how cross-correlation happens we talked about semiconductors we're like man it's probably not at the first level of support and then bam bam bam bam bam you can see across all the markets they all hit at similar points so the real question this week will be is this a dead cat bounce and it may take in netflix it may take maybe meta or possibly even tesla to to really tell us what's going on the next question is of course what's happening in the world of oil because you can see here tanker shipping costs are still through the roof however i will note that they dropped quite a lot back to the daily 20 moving average last week so still parabolic but a little bit of a drop there in shipping costs but have a look here at where they were during july 226 february 32 30s now 890 no wonder we're paying a lot to fill our cars so yeah semi-conductor market i think most of it's that kind of its support it's very difficult if you're a technical analyst or somebody that waits for a little bit more patience to to really say is it hit a level that's really going to turn because we often say buy the v not the dip and what's the v well it means that you've seen structure so it's about structure formations in markets that's what you want to get into otherwise kind of making a big guess and guesses don't tend to work out as well do they all right let's take a look here at us oil let's have a look at the oil and it was a pretty strong close here and i will give you guys as i did in the video i'll give you a clap because this was actually pretty awesome technicals mostly on uk oil but everything's hitting kind of new highs have a look here at xle this is the energy sector in the s p have a look at this 68 24 down slightly today but still up and as i noted we've got kind of xle up you've got kind of cra k up which is oil refiners then you've got us oil was up and then wti and then uk oil as well so let's go to the next one have a look at that still series of higher highs high lows what do you think guys is in the chat is this a downward market yet or is it still technically bullish gamma says it's a matter of when the first major one will announce a miss the rest is followed to clear out expectations because these high profit numbers are untenable long term talking about ai check out uso on the weekly i'll do it in a second toad let's load up usos so this actually remember the other day had that massive transaction on it wow look at that yeah strong stuff again go to the weekly here yeah new highs down 1.11 today but my point is it's still kind of going up here nope says anthropic growth has already slowed well that's the that's the announcement and that's why i think yields reacted the way they did it wasn't based on of course inflation slowing because we haven't seen that it's the valuations to the ai field and this is huge because what happens to the ai field as we've detailed before is the growth is the gdp of a lot of western nations right now particularly of course the u.s uh robert says here your you bears are crying a lot because you missed one billion percent gains it's possible yeah i mean people do do see that but i always go with the markets uh multitudes so in terms of who you're talking about i'm not sure robert but when it comes to bears or anybody you're better off not ever being a perma bear for sure and you're also not better off being maybe too bullish on storylines and i've always said that like think about all of the opportunities they've been this year of course you've had semiconductors through the start into may you've seen huge gains in biotechs in healthcare even healthcare's beating the spy this year now officially i think as of pretty much last week big strong numbers coming out there then you've got gold at certain points you've had tech just recently rallying up massively um this is you know this type of stuff so you know there's this you don't have an energy guys energy you might remember i don't know if you remember but at the start of the year we talked about the two things that i thought would be kind of happening this year i thought energy would be to be better than we expected as in anyone else expected in terms of we will go up why what was the stage in the cycle also we saw it in remember the oih so if you go here to this chart which hasn't looked so beautiful recently but if you remember back anyone remember this one interesting thing um so yeah back here we were talking about this and this was back in september of 2025 remember that was before anything else we had breakouts we had up up up up this actually topped back in may june kind of area but the markets themselves were already pressing oil way before january even xle was going a little bit before january but it went remember oil services xle zop and then into of course cra k and the oil futures well they were coming along with it but the the beautiful thing about markets is you don't you can actually be even a bear and sometimes you'll actually feel very good about certain things you might like gold and silver if you're feeling bearish half the time you might even like metals in general you might like energy because you think oh well this whole thing's doomed if that's your feeling you can kind of see what i'm getting at yeah there's actually there's actually good bull cases for bears whereas there's also good bull cases for bulls and that's what i love about the us market guys you cannot get past how great the us market is for strange opportunities for either side but do remember with energy it's only like three percent of the s p so does it really push around the index not really it's all about tech in the us index as unscientific as it sounds our vibes our collective feelings about the economy hold a surprising amount of power over outcomes says it's a quote from kyla scanlon it sounds like there travis says yeah one of the things i've always gone with with markets has been that markets can stay maybe against oh look i mean there's always a mark that they quote that they say markets can stay irrational longer than you can remain solver but that's for someone that's really bearish and always bearish the better thing i always go with is i i trade like price action data flows over storylines you know i think storylines get you in trouble and i'll show you a storyline that could be getting people in trouble could anyone guess the stock i might put on right now based on the storyline that's starting to appear and then just think about the storylines over the last couple of years the worst offender has got to be gamestop gamestop and amc there's and the hyper growth of 2021 they were the worst stories i've ever seen google gapped for the goods is christine check it out in a moment you referenced tabby costa at the beginning of the year tabby's got some good work with oil services gold was spiking and oil never followed uh what do you mean
[00:16:10] Speaker ?: you you you
[00:16:10] Speaker 1: oil never followed oil oil certainly did uh i don't know what you mean if you're talking about like having the overlaps on top of each other because you've got like copper rallying and then that could mean inflation and oil comes with it yeah i mean that all made sense remember gold is is a currency so it does trade a little bit differently i know you don't like politics tom no what are your thoughts on us on us and french debt can they get out of this look debt is it government debt over history has always been a tough one because there's there's really only three ways to get rid of the debt you inflate it away could be happening right now guys you go default and then bust a whole bunch of bonds which has happened it's not unprecedented it's happened even in modern times and then of course the final one is you create a new currency which one do you think it's going to be guys there's the three ways that traditionally happen there's inflate away the debt go default and say oh i i don't know you what are you talking about or is it create a new currency digital coin and then say oh guys you know we've got this beautiful digital coin over here you should should come across to this beautiful digital coin and we'd love you to do it and by the way if you don't do it within three years yeah your uh other money worthless what do you think which one uh who decides what's rational the market decides it true that's why again sometimes the news narratives that you see the wall of worry it's a great one great quote against that nfts would be the top story true that was terrible robbo nfts were really really bad so we've got here oil services of course markets rallying up and then they kind of you know i actually think it's a bit interesting but it makes sense in in hindsight but i thought this might have gone a little bit better than it did so even i was like kind of like yeah it probably should still come with the rest obviously xle had the better technical crak had the better technical but yeah so for anyone that's wondering why is oil down a little bit here today it had well i'm sure there's some news story but i think also we just slammed a whole bunch of resistance 110 is a huge number for uk oil wti had a monster so all of those things kind of bring it through vix what's happening with the volatility guys a bit of a drop went up to 20 couldn't hold it went back down so but now the market remains higher highs high lows mostly from the mags i mean if the mags weren't coming problems yeah but they are let's have a look here we'll check out apple anyone order the flip phone did you order five oh wait i guess it's five thousand australian dollars but i'm i'm not sure the uk got jibbed i had a look at the price in the uk for the flip phone or whatever it is the foldy foldy the duo oh i don't know if i'd buy the uk my goodness anyone here from uh from the uk wow it's so crazy how uh expensive it is over there apple product ain't cheap for you guys i converted it back into aussie dollar and it was horrific horrific expense so yeah apple flat but the iphone duo of course supposedly sold out until january kind of makes me think they didn't make that many of them but well time will tell amazon yeah just boring chart i mean it's just slowly grinding but not even dull we've got here of course google market itself whoa not 253 now up up in terms of flat kind of going through this area then we've got microsoft and you can see here we've got this kind of high area and microsoft been very dull recently very strong very dull and even in the sell-off really not selling much i mean there's the weekly you can see it's at that resistance but still high highs high lows in the charts nvidia bit of a different story much weaker not even holding its daily 50 you can see here did have a strong weekly a few weeks ago but this is kind of it's touch and go i mean the best you know i've we've got jensen coming out and saying everything's all good but i'm not too sure about that and then we've got here meta which is earnings this week and i think earnings is really the teller why well you can see it resistance all time and that's actually a nasty weekly candle is a bit nasty here but i've got a big arrow to it but time will tell it's going to be an earnings kind of movement latest news is us and iran deal is expected this week look i don't really know neither do you i guess neither do any of us but the thing is that can be a reason why oil is going down but how many times have we heard this how many times have we seen this if you rewind like four or five months ago the unfortunate thing that i said was and look i didn't know none of us do but when this whole thing happens i just looked at history and history i just usually literally could use a robot you could use chatbot llm and you could actually just say i'm for what what tends to happen in this situation unfortunately it was leading into generally it tends to go for longer than you expect a sim says we're just going to do all three so that's an answer to inflate away the debt go bankrupt on the debt and then at the same time create a new currency yeah so a lot of you guys say we've got inflated away benjala says do you think the major economies would adopt btc as their currency no but the answer is well i don't think so but could it become like a peg partially at in some minor economies we've seen that before it's possible i mean look gold's been the peg of history i would still think gold is probably the peg of history but look who knows i like btc too i just don't know if it'll actually get there hopefully inflate or digital it will still inflate the world coin yeah possibly the world coin i'd love to hear your take on quantum computer hardware market tom thanks for all you do look i'm no expert in quantum but we do have experts in the chat maybe you guys can we've got you know use your aliases put it in the chat let us know what your kind of thoughts are um i'll give you my thoughts in a second here but just quick reminder if you haven't signed up if you're new here make sure to sub to the channel sub for the newsletter as well and uh jump on over to www.fxevolution.com and you can check out some of my recent blogs i've got a new one coming this week so i think you'll enjoy that because again some some handy kind of little tips and tricks i've picked up in the bonds market there so check on fxevolution.com or the newsletter i would love to hear your take yeah so quantum look my understanding and someone can let me know in the chat is quantum is really the next leap that we're not going to like i always say are we going to hit it in the time zone that the market wants to hit it in so i remember years ago we were live streaming and people used to want virgin galactic and all this other stuff now like we're going to do space stuff really the only company that's been able to do space so far really has been spacex and in quantum the problem is it's just not quite you know we're still far off and look i've only gone off other people i don't know but quantum before quantum i want to see humanoid robots and if you're talking about addressable market i i truly do think that there probably will be three humanoid robots for every person ultimately and you know why i think that it's actually not really my opinion yes it's been said but it's also because you think about those movies and it's always kind of that way and for some unknown reason these these sci-fi movies have been kind of accurate so far i watch a bit of sci-fi and sometimes i'm just like yeah yeah i thought that would happen because of this i've actually made an investment based on a sci-fi tv show has anyone else ever done that that's probably a little insane but look let's just say that was three percent of the decision making three percent of the decision making was based on that samsung's fold have better multitasking switched to fold seven last year from iphone it is life changing especially some small uh help from gemini here and there on the daily wow what happened to oil dump just uh to go back up i don't think it's sold off enough it hit look we hit resistance on that pink tree coming in from x thank you very much also thank you to over almost a thousand people joining us through the platforms at the moment make sure to give the stream a like if you enjoy it it always helps elon's got a oh yeah did you like that flying car did you like that flying car this week we were meant to do one of these pick the you know your favorite thing that influenced you but we'll have to do it next week there's too much stuff here cost be showing strength cost is at support so it's right where you would expect to be i went from fold six to the fold eight did how many folds are there not sure how i would go back interesting you guys left it btc treasury bond to replace the 20-year bonds spacex is actually data more than space yeah tom let's be realistic what product is in the next 10 years would spacex monetize for space exploration i don't know hey i'm not not the biggest fan i think starling's really awesome and i also think look if i was to guess guys you know what you know what no one ever talks about let's be real owning the sky is pretty valuable so if you're able to go up there and chuck your satellites everywhere and potentially get go go sit on the moon and say that's mine now you're getting like free real estate and arguably again sci-fi films isn't in every sci-fi film the satellite like the the satellite grid the defense network isn't that kind of like the the main premise of like holding on to the world and everything's about this satellite grid network you know what i mean like well you know oh man i actually think it's the it's the real estate in space that should be considered and it isn't and that's why you know in many ways that's what that is actually it's a proxy for real estate and space the us debt will disappear when the gold reserves get revalued wow that's always been the comment hasn't it for a long time now a long time we've seen that comment come through great comments here today guys really awesome chat awesome to see you starlink commercially helps massive across australia it's awesome for that yeah absolutely and you know if you're in australia you'll know you go to the middle of anywhere in australia which by the way is pretty much just a desert then you will not have reception at anything starlink you can be floating around in the middle of uluru probably oh actually what's it called is is it uluru it's now called uluru yes it's gonna call it the wrong name guys and you could have you could have the internet it's pretty wild i could do a live stream from the middle of australia with some crocs gold revaluation will only knock three percent off the debt in terms of overall uh what is fort knox debt hold reserve worth i haven't looked but yeah probably be pretty high all right let's keep going here and check out some of the charts and effectively it's not really something that i consider as an investable concept if you know what i mean let's have a look at the us 500 and and just check it out again is that a chart at the moment that's really giving you bearish vibes it's it's a guess at that point because what have you got some people say that's a bc this is a ut some people say you know this is a bc utu tad so you've got kind of like a utad here um there it's possible i mean all of these kind of come through as a possibility but really the other way of looking at it is you just load up a one month and you say well at the moment at the moment what have we got going on so i think the monthly shows a bit of an interesting sign here and that is a bunch of dojis so you've got kind of like dojis dojis dojis forming here middle of october it it kind of is just doing what you would think during a midterm year remember that chart we looked at three four months ago what did it show it showed the kangaroo market so this is a market where if you drive into sectors if you look at staples recently look at staples i mean there's incredible returns in staples just last week look at this thing look at this thing 9.86 percent massive returns on staples utilities did some big numbers healthcare's done some big numbers and these are all defensives but it because they're such a small part of the s p it just kind of when these are going it just does this kangarooing so we've just had rotation rotation rotation and at the moment it seems to be energy healthcare utilities staples and a little bit of mag 7. indecision time yeah pretty much imagine all the new alien theories that people are just uh making now dojis and indecision true toad traders cafe says tom what's up man medical devices have been a fire as a subsector yeah a lot of people in our private community the market masters club over at fxevolution.com have been discussing that in the charts so certainly a huge part of i think what we've been seeing in markets it is a market of opportunity but you've just got to look through and find the opportunity i think that's the key here
[00:31:40] Speaker ?: you
[00:31:50] Speaker 1: hi tom is there any risk in having a large chunk of portfolios sitting in govs well there's always a risk you have to always consider this each point chad is talking about oil being one percent down within a second but the observation is still the same stay on a larger time frame of fellow traders is a good point you know i think the thing is sometimes we get caught on that old uh sneaky tick chart or the one minute or five minute charts but you know it looks very different like okay i look at that chart and i think oh damn that looks that looks like it's pretty much powering look at the weekly and you're going to think oh that's pretty strong you look at the daily by the way it has actually that being said it just literally recovered 1.2 in the last uh 20 minutes so that's true but still you look at it on all these time frames and we go down to like a two hour it's still pretty strong across the board like that that to me is still a bullish market series of higher highs and high lows so the only place you're really going to see something falling down this is why i always say you know zoom out and have a look you're on a five minute you're going to come in and go whoa and that's the day that's actually a massive danger i think in 2026 for traders because you're going to look for that oh see it's a mega candle i remember when i used to look at these guys back in 2007 8 9 that kind of period and i used to have all these um these small time frames on and i still remember every open you'd be sitting there and you'd be like well this candle's big and then i'd just switch it to a daily and i'd realize how insignificant some of these things were in the scheme of things but obviously if you're a scalper or a day trader that's going to be a big one here no black monday today folks sorry bears yeah black monday that was was that trending or something i saw a lot of people mentioning black monday how did that come about why is it always black monday i've seen five black mondays this year and none of them happened they're going to create a new currency and they'll call it the eagle they'll call it the eagle so us oil yeah it's still kind of piling up here let's go through some other indications around the markets we've got copper been weaker but still i would say indecision why do we think that well you go to a weekly monthly it's just a bunch of dojis all over the place and up down up down up down chop so it's pretty much neutral we've got gold last week couple of weeks so a little bit of bid coming in but still hovering underneath that resistance of 42.25 silver came down to actually hitting a support but it was pretty aggressive so the trend is still lower lows and lower highs and i've got here little alerts if that changes but yeah silver and gold they are currencies silver is also a usable metal the thing about gold is it should like lower yields so if we keep getting those maybe gold will do a little bit better but uh yeah the problem i think is the way the lower yields are happening at the moment queues on the 15 minute 50 around 720 is the key this morning all over youtube it was yeah black monday anniversary of the 1987 black monday crash so they were referencing that and getting a little bit of google seo makes sense u.s election iran ukraine wars are key outcomes for the market is waiting on a lot more the problem with that one is again it's been a long time since some of those things have been going on so it's very difficult to i think and also just you know it's terrible to look at and watch anyway you don't want to see those things guys it freaks you out it's um always tough it's always tough so i always go with price action data and flows and you just kind of you know stick in your own lane so quick look here bitcoin few people have been mentioning that today are fairly strong off the node that we found last week of course we talked about this we had low high lower low looking at 84 000 this week if there's strength here then maybe bitcoin will actually take out a new high but at this stage it's still stuck in kind of the limbo neutral zone for anyone that's coming in here early we had a look at semiconductors the market there's cross correlation everywhere you can also go check out the video that we posted just a little while ago and that has a synopsis of some of my thoughts on cross correlation because you just don't see it all the time but that's what happened on friday it was just like hit support hit support hit most traded zone hit support hit most traded zone hit support and oil hit a lot of res thoughts on gold miners tom uh don't look at specific gold miners but gdx we can load that up and have a quick look at it technically okay i mean gdx is actually holding better than gold so gold miners making mint mint kind of money like way more money than you would expect in recent times they've done very very very nicely and the thing about gold miners is they're only at about 50 fib of the drop so it's uh still pretty strong and they've actually had the best that's the best sector over three months gdx holding up better than gold i think it's profit i'm surprised though because you'd think they're making great money but with oil going up with diesel going up you just have to think well the prices i mean it's so costly to get gold out of the ground so it's actually really surprising that's holding that that goes against now someone can explain in the chat but if you're thinking logically you wouldn't think this was you wouldn't think on the first impressions that this is how it was going to sit gold buy the costs include diesel good morning ricky how can the news get any better for semiconductors their buyers cannot raise capital as they did last year well this is the big question that everyone's asking like you know how do we get better news because that's what we need if if we can't get better news this earnings season which i'm rating at a seven and a half out of ten my personal opinion is in it's pretty much what the market kind of just needs at the moment then then we could have problems and you notice this anthropic slowdown boom 2.1 trillion dollars off the semiconductors over the week we've got still inflation we've got k 線 waves starting to weaken you know markets that you're wanting to look at xly you know what's going on with the american consumer or consumers in general and it's not exactly a chart that has looked particularly good for a while but it also isn't super bearish just yet so there's a lot of working parts here and that's why we're watching bonds i would say if it was me looking at bonds i think there's a canary and that canary is probably in triple c junk and also in the core wave situation so of course this stock i mean it's paying 15 and you don't get to a 15 bond rate without having the bond market say yeah we've got a real concern so there's a real concern here in the markets earnings are going to be strong and stocks will still sell off well i think it's if earnings earnings will be strong but what's the future earnings so if it's earnings hit everything they say but then the future is same growth path or less the market may not like that and that's why you know it's this kind of brutal thing that a lot of people don't understand markets come in with a really high expectation of good earnings so when they hit it and they get a beat which is normal then they're like cool we can keep the price or even move up a little bit but if you get just what looks like a record profit and it hits the news and everyone's like wow it's amazing yet the market goes down well look at the left hand side often the market will have gone up 20 30 coming into the earnings yes it's a stellar result but it's of course a buy the rumor sell the fact style market here's netflix this week got earnings for this this is going to be of course one of the first what's the first big one and when you look at it hmm anyone still got netflix kept your subscriptions guys isn't core waves debt just 30 billion that's crazy if that lead leads to a global crisis it's a great point and i i said it on the weekend as well it's not big enough so rewind back to 2007 well this was the size of of you know basically a company that would take it down nowadays it's more of an opinion but look look at enron so enron just call us a famous crash that happened and it took the whole sector down now where every other company in the sector was it actually all the same as enron no were the great companies yeah but the sentiment became shot so it's not so much that it's the size it's whether it begins the dominoes so you go back to like a jamie diamond quote what do you say where there's one cockroach there's lots of a sudden you've got a market that struggles to recover so it's not this size it's what does it do to sentiment you knock sentiment out all of a sudden you've got a market that struggles to recover and a classic for that on the charts would probably be sk hynix because sk hynix it got absolutely destroyed back in july it barely recovered because it was the most popular most hyped kind of stock i mean they even got a dual list ipo into the us over that time and then now it's you know back down at the lows so it's yeah good point though it's not big enough you know 30 billion dollars isn't big enough you'd think it's the opinion people forget core wave is 33 billion dollars nvidia is 5 trillion and it really would get a bad as a rounding error for nvidia to buy it out i think it's i think it's the the overall there's more than one if you get what i'm saying core waves debt is actually 50 billion yeah it's semi semi semis tom yeah we still have netflix and use it i'm a subscriber and a shareholder well ricky i hope it finds lots of support for you here sir n run wasn't disclosing yeah i i know what n run was i'm just getting at the point here it took everything else with it so it was sentiment based ultimately as in like it just it knocked everything else around timing the cockroach is key yes facts overall opinions every time in reality yeah good point yeah so netflix right on support coming into earnings look could it be like a little double bottom ultimately yeah it's possible but it needed good earnings i think and it's got a bit of competition next one oh we looked at meta already so let's have a quick look here at tesla and that's what i was getting at before because tesla of course released well they had i would say a pretty awesome demo i mean i i was pretty impressed i actually thought that to me that car event i'm not gonna buy the car but you know the car event was kind of like i i'll remember this you know there's not many things you remember but i'll remember watching that one live because and i usually don't watch them i just saw it i went on i'll check it out and it was pretty pretty incredible stuff so you've got to be impressed by the fact that there's a uh flying flipping car guys in 2026 even if it doesn't come to full fruition it's pretty awesome so it reminds me of back to the future you know when marty flies off into the into the sky but the thing about tesla is that everybody thought the next day it would go up and it was down i think it was up about three percent ended up being up about five but the problem with the car like this is yeah okay they'll sell some and yeah okay it's a huge you know what flagship kind of thing to make everyone go wow look how innovative but ultimately you know where's the money robo taxi and mostly or nowadays for evaluation like tesla has it's going to have to be those humanoid robots the humanoid robots the ai it's got to be something like that uh tesla's demo was only a signal that tesla and spacex will merge none of the tech will be on the car yeah because invite only yeah good point it's about spacex merger yes financials are about to pump financials are actually more here's a here's a bit of a trivia quiz for you how much of the s&p 500 percentage wise is financials don't cheat don't cheat guys get out get out of google get out of google get out of your llm don't cheat what do you think percentage wise it is let's not get no cheaty no cheaty cheat cheat cheat cheat chuck it in the chat let's see who is right i'm liking the fact some of you aren't cheating so you know some of you got it wrong which means you didn't cheat which is good good people i i would have said okay if you asked me i thought it was probably about maybe i mean i know i know how much kre is of the russell it's always around 20 to 22. you know it's always been around there maybe it's a little bit lower now but 20 to 22. okay so regional banks 20 to 22 of the russell we'll talk about in a moment but xlf i would have said about 8 to 10 and it was like 12 to 13. i was surprised i was surprised uh dow jones 27 yeah so financials huge huge so it actually does push around the market a little bit more than you'd think the old financials not not compared to tech which is huge but yeah so look financials reported last week i would give them the seven and a half so basically it was a stock standard good earnings result you know some good some bad the only thing i'm really looking at is home lending down credit cards delinquencies up and of course i'm paying attention to that but i'm not really too concerned just yet but it is something that i'll pay attention to longer term the profits were exceptionally good in many of them except for wells fargo uh oh my god what's your take on friday's vix explosion hedge from some side of insider news uh when you guys are saying vix explosion do you mean like just the fact that vix went from a like a like an 18 to like a 22. yeah i mean i didn't really talk about that in the weekend video is this all this is what people are talking about a few people mentioning vix explosion i won't consider that because when you go back it happens all the time guys that's not now is there some other read you can tell me about it but this is quite common you often see vix explode like vix moves like this i mean what happened you got to freak out on on certain bonds and you got to freak out in tech and what's going to push a market round if it's only if it's 49 tech driven 49 of the s p is estimated to be ai driven so if you're losing that that was only sector really down last week majorly then that's going to create a vix explosion but it has to hold above 20 to really care i mean you just see this all the time happens all the time like back in history and i mean you just see it much ado about nothing really i mean unless you guys think it's something serious there i i don't really i don't really look you ever trade five minute candles tom nah not anymore long time ago yeah man all right you can get me back in 2008 mode i'll be sitting in front of the charts like all you guys on the tick chart the one minute chart the five minute chart the 15 minute chart a couple of different weird fractal charts i used to have 12 screens guys 12 screens can you imagine 2010 12 screens that's epic back then that was boss now what happened with 12 screens you go blind because it's too much too much energy it doesn't do anything 12 screens ridiculous you've all got that one at one point we've all done it we've all gone and got you know five six screens three screens plus how many screens are you running right now for your trade setup i'll tell you mine if you tell me yours okay let's see i'll say what it is right now but yeah that 12 doesn't do anything it's absolute waste of time total fast they were dal too that were damn good screens dal made the best back then two two two two two two oh you guys are all on two one one two come on where's my 12 bro give me give it to me two one 12 screens with 12 eyes one ultra ride 49 and 224s and 127 in portrait that's quite a lot 49 is pretty big okay i'm gonna tell you i use this many screens three three three three three three is optimum this is up this is optimum now to be fair a 49 inch screen is probably bigger than my three but still 49 inches that's ridiculous i mean what am i going to do look at the 49 inch geez and then there's two there's some on the sides of it i go blind anyway yeah three is good i like three and i like a good portrait and i like this kind of thing and then maybe like this as well is pretty good that's not a bad little combo that kind of thing or like the side here with a portrait on this side scrap that one both pretty good that's that's that's optimum optimum technology right there so what do you think about moo technicals uh pain in the ass because the problem with moo is it's agriculture there's a lot of subsections of agriculture very tough chart very tough chart and this is because it had a pretty good breakout just a little while ago you can see here back in august it's fallen down it's kind of just still higher highs and higher lows higher time frames still holding trend lines that kind of stuff but nothing nothing particular and the issue is some of these businesses do really badly in that in the inflation that we're seeing and some of course do better so it's all about looking underneath the hood gotta look at the subsectors i only i only have a 49 as my main then some charts on a portrait and four charts main have news and all others are for trading otherwise i have streams and other things yeah fair enough the 49 look again the screens are so good quality nowadays that you can afford to look at it but back then 12 screens insane total total madness long socks until liquidation of lambo oh my goodness that sounds a bit dangerous so eight monitors and two ipads it's that eight monitors and two ipads what have you got in the ipads stacking vertically was a game and neck changer yeah you do need to stack vertically mercedes-by mercedes-by mercedes-benz actually that reminds me what is this volswagon up to one second here guys do we dare look should i press this button here we go three two one don't look kangaroo internet oh one second guys one second one second oh oh oh that's bad oh oh no what the what was it doing up here how was this stock up here i mean i never trade this stock but what is this what oh that's bad guys yep and what have i said for five six years there's one there's two industries that i don't like cars and planes cars and planes whoa i mean these don't even look like good candles these are horrible candles like look at this one you don't like that that's a bad candle little rally bit of a dump on a three-month looks terrible wow volkswagen group not too good on the charts guys not too good so look i think the synonymous the kind of concept here this week is obviously earnings it's going to be continuation of news coming out about ai which seems to be plentiful so far we've seen figmas figma figma whatever it is the australian ipo that didn't work out in ai obviously got core wave as well as a big issue then on top of that you've got anthropic slowdown really the main story let's be real that's the main story and ultimately the canaries in the bonds but you look at magnificent seven it's holding up you look at the markets we've hit sup sup sup sup sup sup most most traded zones sup sup sup sup sup you know it's pretty much across all the tech so we're at that level we discussed last week and really oil has been probably the standout sector and i guess that comes from like the abundance concepts you know with the things we talk about look at the sectors guys look at the stocks look at the things underneath don't pay attention to you know everyone else's random stuff do the work yourself do the price action do the data do the flows i thought that was a monumental week and i don't know about you but to me last week marks in at least the market even though we've seen much worse falls obviously semiconductors probably the fall there coupled with this fall are the two most important weeks of this year and why because plus probably the spacex ipo and and the reason is is is pretty simple these are the types of things that you actually start putting your your uh spidey senses on you start saying wait a second why are all these guys coming out and saying nothing to see here guys nothing to see here and that always makes me look a little deeper so you know there's plenty of youtubers plenty of you know people out there we do it as well we check out this stuff we pay attention to it but what i want to see is if it ever does come up in the price action the flows the data the bonds and to me it's in the bonds and uh one of the other charts you can look at this week is going to be the bow for high yield and the reason why it's the bow for high yield is take a look at this chart i mean it's look i mean let's go back to that three months just to put it in perspective what's your first observation about this chart when you see it i've written about it in a newsletter what is a three month no one does this no one looks at three months why not microsoft is is this true microsoft is cancelling an nu data center this is from uh kristo christoph deal in uk grid infrastructure delays similar to oracle data centers a few weeks ago interesting yeah i think that's interesting i still like cyber security i think it's smart cyber cyber security is very expensive now based on fundos but price action has been pretty strong i think this is bad see byd you know i haven't looked at byd one second here let's get off this what's going on byd it's this one here actually is it this one or is it the one two one one one two one one oh nasty candle too but not as bad as the other one that's a nasty candle though all right i was expecting much more bloodbath you see this is this chart here notice 1998 calm before the storm same levels we've been at recently 2005 ish four ish to 2007 bonds market didn't care go over here 18 we obviously know that got pretty wild 20 21 into 22 well we know what happened and recently extremely low both yields the height the lowest we've seen since the dot com it's basically just telling us that the bonds market was having a sleep and it is waking up because you go to a daily you have a look at this and there's a little bit of volatility in the air so uh yeah i think you've got to be paying attention to these charts guys ultimately though it's price action data flows and as we've demonstrated so far we seem to be hitting a bunch of subs at least technically could they fall through yeah then then we could go into negative gamma but for now the markets seem to be still holding up and i think that's always one of the more important things avgo is a bloodbath chart let's have a look avgo broadcom where's dollar index heading to dollar index straight on sup at the moment have a look at the euro usd and you'll you'll kind of start to see why that is yeah not good either but still even on the monthly and weeklies you're going to see it's still higher highs high lows guys fantastic stuff check out the newsletter if you're interested in finding out a little bit more about some live streams that we do as well where we give away a little bit of tips tricks some other stuff things that you won't find here in the live or the daily show check it out in the description down below also if you're interested in finding out more about how to speed up your time that is take it you know your 10 000 hours potentially out of it and learn some of the mistakes that i've made also some of the good things we've done over time and of course some of the systems approaches and those concepts then you can check out our courses over at fxevolution.com it's always great to have more awesome like-minded people in the community and you guys are the best there's no doubt we've got the best community we've got great minds i've met some of you guys you're awesome legends and we've got some exciting announcements coming up as well so i'm really looking forward to meeting more people in the community sharing ideas sharing concepts and you know sometimes you guys give me awesome concepts so what i mean by that is just you share you you uh tell me to something in a different frame and then bam oh wow i never thought about it that way and that's that's that's the type of stuff that you know i'm i'm really appreciative of anyway have an awesome week the legends and let's see how the markets treat everybody but for now the first kind of five minutes go through semis if you're coming in we then kind of talked about some general macro questions and obviously we looked at all of the majors but uh yeah never seen a bigger week than last week other than probably the whole crash of semiconductors in 2026 so it was i think a monumental point for ai and something we might even look back on including a flying car catch you guys bye bye thanks p myers appreciate it man
