[0:48] all the cops yeah they're giving him a hard time about the cops his speech short the other day [0:59] that's because a large crowd started booing him off the stage after less than a minute into the [1:04] speech yeah that was happening during a national night out against crime event against crime there's [1:09] a police event hi aisha well it has been a rough week for new york city mayor zora mom donnie [1:15] tuesday the democratic socialist was booed and cursed at at an nypd community event on staten [1:21] island most conservative borough in the city yo he hates the police this is what he took the stage [1:27] donnie is also facing criticism over his new pied-de-tear tax fresh accusations his anti-israel [1:39] rhetoric is stoking anti-semitism and now growing questions about how mom donnie is going to pay [1:45] for his 10 billion dollar a year agenda that's projecting the cost more than he said let's start [1:51] with free universal child care the center for new york city affairs estimates the car he's gonna pay [1:56] for all this stuff by defunding the police and this was a pro-police event and as you're about to see [2:01] new yorkers are very aware that the mayor is using his platform here to bring communism to our entire [2:07] country with who his new political allies are watch this no you're good um so with um outside this [2:15] victory this is maybe the biggest potential prize for the american left in november now do you plan on [2:22] formally endorsing him maybe even going to michigan my focus thus far has been on new york city um and [2:30] and what i will tell you is that i know that many new yorkers were incredibly excited [2:35] at the result i tried to stay up uh until it was called but then i eventually called it a [2:40] day i do wish him the best so not totally closing the door on when maybe going to mission i'm here [2:46] right now so he's open to campaigning with politicians that have views that are to the left [2:53] of what he campaigned on listen to this ice has nothing to do with immigration ice has nothing to do [3:00] with the southern border ice is about normalizing paramilitary force on our streets ice is about [3:07] weaponizing the idea of immigration against the constitution itself that's pretty crazy but it [3:12] doesn't stop there watch this to ask you though just about this victory um he did especially well in [3:19] higher educated higher income areas whereas his opponent picked up more support from more low-income [3:25] parts of detroit uh rural areas with a lot of working-class uh residents what do you kind of [3:32] make of that dynamic given that outside very much campaigned on a working-class yeah they rejected him [3:41] i i will leave much of the assessment to pundits what i will say is that when you are facing 60 million [3:49] dollars in outside spending you are facing so the people who didn't vote for the candidate mom donnie is [3:56] very excited about for some reason we're too stupid and we're too brainwashed to do what the [4:02] socialists want so he's writing them off completely meanwhile this is what people are saying about uh [4:08] his new political allies listen to this does abdul el-sayed's candidacy for senator in michigan concern [4:15] yes sir it does why is that uh well to begin with uh i look at the connections that his father-in-law [4:21] chakaku taib has two brotherhood linked groups this includes being the president one time of care [4:27] michigan i would also look at el-sayed's ties to a group called m-gage which uh purports to be a uh [4:35] sort of get out the vote or a candidate recruitment organization but it has close ties to care it was [4:41] created by a former care member who at one time was on a watch list uh and was also a consultant to [4:47] convicted that's weird and as you're about to see this is part of the communist blueprint to totally [4:52] take over and remake america as soon as possible watch this first i'd just like to congratulate [4:58] dr abdul el-sayed on his victory oh he's a doctor he ran a campaign where it was best described by his [5:06] words of money out of politics money in your pocket medicare for all except the rich people voted for [5:12] simple commitments and beliefs are what drives representative johnson to these kinds of [5:16] conclusions i think it's gonna be his opponent out of touch the republican party is with the concerns [5:21] of working class americans because what we have seen is despite him facing more than 60 million [5:27] dollars in outside spending he was able to prevail with a focus on a cost of living crisis and the way [5:33] in which health care is exceedingly out of reach for those who have helped to make this country where [5:39] it is but then why did the working class voters who didn't go to college and learn about how great [5:44] socialism was going to be for all of us why did they reject this guy these people are dangerous [5:49] and frankly they're lunatics they're crazy and we can't let them get into office communism is the [5:56] greatest threat he's right to our country in its history including even world war one world war [6:03] two pearl harbor i think it's the greatest threat i could be the greatest communist in history [6:09] i tell everybody here would you like a free house right we'll take one from your neighbor would you [6:14] like free rent we'll take it from whoever we'll take your building away from the landlord that makes [6:19] two percent and we'll run the building ourselves what they don't say and what republicans should say [6:26] is that at the end of a year you'll have nothing but squalor poverty you'll have a life of hell [6:34] and the important thing to realize here is every single thing these communist candidates are out [6:39] there promising whether it's frozen rent whether it's a free grocery store whether it's a free home [6:44] that gets taken from somebody else all of it gets taken from somebody else they're not promising [6:49] affordability they're promising punishment for those who have been able to succeed in this country [6:55] so that they can give what they have to everyone else for some reason and why do we have affordability [7:00] in this crisis i don't know maybe it's because we had a wide open border and we let an estimated 20 [7:05] million people into the country who didn't even have permission to be here and those people didn't [7:09] live on the streets whose policies were those again well to get the answer to that you'd want [7:14] to ask the stump of the democrat party which used to be attached to a tree which has now been cut down [7:20] and out of that stump is growing socialism that's the answer to the problems that they've caused that [7:26] they're only going to exasperate by just punishing more people but that doesn't matter to these voters [7:30] they want to see punishment they want to see vengeance they're disguising their hatred of our country [7:36] as affordability well i think it says a couple things first of all the base of the democratic [7:40] party just wants radicals it wants these dsa types it wants people who hate even the idea of private [7:46] property ownership but it also i think tells us that uh that that particular set of ideas is very popular [7:53] in places you wouldn't expect because al-sayed he's this guy who holds himself out as a working [7:58] class hero is a guy who's going to fight for the working class how does he fight for the working [8:02] class by flooding his state and his country with low-wage immigrants of course those people will [8:08] drive down the wages of working the working class and he also doesn't want to do anything to protect [8:13] the michigan auto industry he felt has fought against the trump tariffs that have saved the [8:18] michigan auto industry that's crazy these politicians they're literally out there promising to cure [8:23] the very problems they cause with the policies they want even more of it's so wild and it's radical but [8:31] it goes to show you these people these socialist candidates they want a full-on revolution and [8:36] they are serious about it they're not taking any prisoners and to get you to get on board with it [8:40] they're going to say hey i care about you hey trump's ruining everything there look at this u.s senate abdul el-sayed [13:15] won the democratic nomination defeating moderate haley stevens in a closer than expected race that exposed [13:21] divisions within the party outside groups poured more than 60 million dollars into advertising backing [13:27] stevens making it one of the most expensive primaries in the country el-sayed made that spending a central [13:34] issue throughout his campaign casting it as a symbol of outside influence and he returned to it in his [13:40] victory speech today what we showed is that the power of our money is greater than the power of their [13:47] money oh it's a movement that if you're willing to build a movement brick by brick if you're willing to [13:52] go and travel your state and have the conversations in rooms big and small starting in moments when people [13:57] aren't even paying attention to an election but are paying attention to the price of gas and the price [14:01] of groceries and the price of housing and the price of health care that you can build a conversation [14:05] that builds into a movement that defeats galiah el-say now he's right about that he had a whole lot [14:12] of in-person campaign events he ran a campaign that got people excited and he talked about affordability [14:17] but these socialists their answer to affordability is not any of the stuff that gives you affordability [14:23] what's their solution to gas prices they don't like cap that price what's their solution to you [14:28] not making enough at work well force your boss to pay everybody fifty dollars an hour what they don't [14:33] realize is that when you cap the price at the pump you get gas rationing what they don't realize is that [14:38] when you do what california did and you start working towards these obnoxious minimum wages all the [14:43] workers lose their jobs because the businesses can't stay open their policies bring more of the disaster [14:49] they have a problem with if you want real unaffordability vote for communists you know [14:53] where you don't see any capitalism on the island of cuba and things are so unaffordable there nobody's [14:58] got any money for food it's literally terrible this is literally where communism should have worked [15:05] because it's an island and no one can run away from it and escape from it and everyone has to stay [15:09] there and be punished by the communists economically and it's failed there worse than anywhere else and that's [15:14] what these people want to bring to america and we find out that the people voting for these candidates [15:20] are the most educated of us all i wonder why that is well from when they were born until when they [15:27] graduated college with a master's degree they've been getting nothing but hatred for our country [15:32] they've been getting taught that capitalism has failed and that it's over and it's not a system that [15:36] works and it's a system that's rigged at up to 9.3 billion dollars a year 55 percent more than [15:42] mom donnie said most of that pays for his promise of teacher level salaries for child care workers [15:48] then there's free and fast buses mom donnie said that would take 800 million dollars a year [15:53] the city's independent budget office says 1.1 billion that plan is now on hold donnie said he [15:59] would raise 10 billion dollars a year mostly through new taxes on corporations and millionaires [16:05] so far he's projected to raise about a billion dollars a year from so the new taxes don't work [16:11] the punishing of the corporations won't work what it will do the more you punish them the less people [16:18] they're going to be able to employ the less money is going to filter down from the punishment given [16:22] to these corporations to their actual employees who are working there who are trying to pay [16:28] crazy rents and buy groceries in new york city the free grocery stores aren't going to help there's [16:33] only going to be five of them how are you even going to get there the subway never works not all [16:37] the voters in new york are totally on board with this communism thing especially those that support [16:42] the police new pied-a-terre tax and state aid here's the problem only the state can levy new taxes [16:49] and governor kathy hochel has said no she gave the city 1.2 billion over two years for child care beyond [16:55] that neither of them can say how to pay for it all is it possible to fund 2k going forward without [17:03] increasing taxes on the wealthy you know i think the most important thing is that we fund programs like [17:07] this i am committed through the program next year um i can't commit future budgets at this time [17:14] right making matters worse aisha mom donnie's own budget office projects a seven billion dollar deficit [17:20] next year where's that money gonna come from i'll tell you where it's gonna come from mom donnie has [17:25] been on a tax crusade this entire year in new york city he already came out earlier in the year a lot [17:30] of people forgot about this but what did he say he said you know what if i don't get my money from the [17:34] governor who is now my prisoner because i'm the leader of the democrat party and she's in my party [17:40] and we're communists now if she doesn't give me what i need i'm gonna raise taxes eight percent [17:47] on middle-class homeowners in new york city that's the only way i'm gonna be able to pay for all the [17:52] stuff that i promised i don't want to do it i hope the governor doesn't make me do it and you know what [17:57] he got her to give him the money and property owners in new york are out there thinking oh we dodged it [18:03] we got away from that off thank god the mayor saw the light look there's three more years of this [18:08] and they need even more money next year where is that money gonna come from next year you know what's [18:13] gonna happen next year mayor's gonna cut out and he's gonna say you know what we were gonna raise [18:17] taxes last year thankfully we didn't have to do it but this year instead of going for eight percent [18:24] we're gonna do four percent he's warming people up for tax increases next year by how much money [18:31] he's wasting this year in the name of affordability that's what's gonna make us [18:35] have
