[0:01] All roads led back to Donald Trump. [0:03] Donald Trump blew it, and everyone that stood there [0:06] clapping like stupid little train, baby seals, [0:09] right behind him, own it all. [0:11] He got a real kick in the ballast, to put it mildly. [0:13] This reframing it as, like, somehow civility one. [0:16] No, we kicked their ass, and we landslided AIPAC, [0:20] and we landslided the mainstream. [0:22] Why would I care to have a conversation with you? [0:24] I'm a journalist. I'm a journalist. [0:25] You're just in the U.K. [0:26] You know how many votes I want to get in the U.K.? [0:28] Zero. [0:29] He's arrogant. He's obnoxious. [0:31] He's patronizing. [0:32] And it revealed to me a slight anger management issue [0:35] with this guy. [0:36] No, I couldn't disagree more. [0:37] You know all about anger management, Jake, [0:40] so that's why I'm coming to you on that. [0:41] No, you two are all friends, Emily and Marjorie. [0:44] Why don't you go talk about Jewish space lasers, [0:46] and really, why don't you fuck off? [0:48] I still stand with the words I said there today. [0:53] Well, the midterm elections are often difficult [0:55] for any sitting president, but few in modern history [0:58] have been as brutal as this. [1:00] The Democrats needed to flip four seats to win the Senate, [1:03] many expected days of wrangling and razor-thin margins. [1:06] In the end, it wasn't even close. [1:08] Some polling stations were still open [1:09] when the House was called the Democrats, [1:11] and seven Republican Senate seats toppled like dominoes [1:15] as the night went from bad to worse for President Trump, [1:17] and then from worse to, frankly, atrocious. [1:20] Michigan has elected the first Muslim U.S. Senator, [1:23] Abdul El-Sayed. [1:24] His victory speech is what's technically referred to as a troll, [1:27] aimed directly at a president who repeatedly called him [1:30] a jihadist terrorist. [1:33] My name is Abdul Rahman Muhammad El-Sayed. [1:38] I'm so proud and honored to stand here as your senator-elect [1:49] from the great state of Michigan. [1:50] Up until right about now, you might have noticed, [1:58] I always say, inshallah, or God willing, [2:01] whenever the outcome of this race was mentioned. [2:04] But today, tonight, we can turn that inshallah into an alhamdulillah. [2:11] The deep red state of Texas emphatically chose [2:16] Democrat James Tallarico, a former vegan who once argued [2:19] that God is non-binary, and the victory, he says, was biblical. [2:24] In this race, we went up against our own Goliaths, [2:33] the richest man in the world, the most powerful man in the world, [2:37] and the entire Washington, D.C. establishment. [2:40] David, David wasn't as big or as strong as Goliath. [2:46] He didn't have as many weapons, but he had hope. [2:50] He had faith, and he had a slingshot. [2:55] You were my slingshot. [2:58] Well, three decades of Republican domination in South Carolina [3:01] are now over two. [3:02] The late Senator Lindsey Graham's sister, Darlene, [3:04] was trounced by Democrat Annie Andrews. [3:07] There was a lot to take in for the outgoing [3:09] South Carolina Congresswoman Nancy Mace, [3:11] who watched in horror from this very set. [3:14] When I look at this, and I'm looking at the numbers right now, [3:16] South Carolina Senate looks like we're losing it. [3:19] We look like I just found out we're losing my seat. [3:21] I won my seat two years ago by 18 points. [3:25] And so when I decided not to run for re-election, [3:27] I thought I was leaving it in good hands. [3:29] So I am very worried about my home state [3:31] of South Carolina right now. [3:33] But the only... and I'm seeing this, all these races, [3:35] but the only thing worse than being fed a pile of shit [3:37] is being asked to swallow it. [3:39] That may have been the line of the night. [3:40] What all of these races had in common was Republican arrogance. [3:43] Ken Paxton, Mike Rogers, Darlene Graham [3:46] are all prime examples of very poor candidates, [3:49] saddled with scandal or controversy or just blatant nepotism. [3:53] And his primary qualification was Donald Trump's blessing. [3:56] And with the president's approval ratings [3:58] at a historic low, that was a bad bet. [4:00] Looming all over this, of course, [4:01] was the backdrop of the Iran war. [4:04] The war's biggest cheerleaders have been gaslighting for months [4:06] about how voters don't really care about the least popular [4:09] military engagement in American history. [4:12] Well, they were wrong, and the president said it himself. [4:15] I think a part of it was Iran, but at the same time, [4:18] people understood the importance of what I've done with Iran. [4:21] I think, historically, it's going to be much more important [4:24] than this evening, because you can't let the number one state [4:28] sponsor of terror have a nuclear weapon. [4:30] You know, it's the most dangerous country in the world, [4:32] and we wiped them out, practically. [4:35] It's been done before, as you know, numerous times. [4:37] And it's a power of veto. [4:39] It's one of the stronger powers that a president has. [4:43] And they'll send over things that are insane, and I'll veto them. [4:46] And after a couple of months of vetoes, they'll call, [4:49] and they'll say, how do we get this stuff done? [4:52] And we'll work together. [4:54] You have a lot of friends that are Democrats, believe it or not. [4:56] And I think the Democrats did a good job. [5:00] I really do. [5:00] I think they did a good job. [5:02] They fought hard. [5:03] They were, you know, they've been fighting for a long time. [5:06] They've been fighting me for a long time. [5:08] This fight's been going on for ages. [5:11] The Democrats did a good job. [5:13] Didn't think I'd hear those words from President Trump, ever. [5:16] But President Trump turned to Truth Social at 10 o'clock last night [5:18] to declare that Republicans would have won by a landslide [5:21] if only he had been on the ballot. [5:23] But the truth is, he was on the ballot. [5:25] And the verdict of the voters is crystal clear. [5:28] Well, joining me in the studio, former Republican Congresswoman, [5:31] Marjorie Taylor Greene, and former White House correspondent, [5:35] Brian Glenn, who also happens to be married to Marjorie Taylor Greene. [5:39] So a rare double appearance. [5:40] So welcome to both of you. [5:42] Thank you, Pierre. [5:42] We've never met. [5:43] We've locked horns in the past. [5:45] You've been on quite a cathartic journey, I would say. [5:49] I mean that respectfully. [5:51] When you saw the scale of what happened last night, [5:54] did you feel, Marjorie, vindicated that people like you, Tucker Carlson, [6:00] Megyn Kelly, others who were big Trump supporters, [6:03] bought into the MAGA ideology, [6:05] but felt that Donald Trump had betrayed that ideology? [6:09] Do you feel last night vindicated by the scale of what happened? [6:13] Vindicated, yes, absolutely. [6:15] And I've had people telling me nonstop all night, literally, and all morning. [6:20] However, this was something that I warned my colleagues in Congress about early on, [6:26] literally within months of his administration. [6:28] I also warned the president himself, [6:31] asking him directly to have the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and Trump's friends. [6:36] I asked to have these women in the Oval Office. [6:39] He invites everyone in the Oval Office. [6:41] He invited the former terrorist, now president of Syria, in the Oval Office. [6:46] And he refused to do so. [6:48] And it was the Iran war early in June of 2025 that I was one of the few people that said, [6:56] we didn't campaign for this. [6:58] We said, no more foreign wars. [7:00] And we had many, many arguments before I resigned. [7:05] However, it's the American people that I think spoke loudly. [7:08] And it was a complete referendum on Donald Trump. [7:11] You know, it's interesting because he says he wasn't on the ballot, [7:13] but all roads led back to Donald Trump. [7:16] And he wanted to own that ballot when he thought there was a chance they might do well. [7:20] And then, of course, as he often does, has now distanced himself very rapidly from it. [7:24] He said, well, if I had been, of course, it would have all been different. [7:27] No, he said, he told people, vote like I am on the ballot. [7:32] Yeah, I know. [7:32] He literally said that. [7:33] He did, yeah, he did. [7:34] But, you know, now he's saying, well, if I had been, trying to pretend he never said it. [7:37] But the reality is, all the exit polls I saw that AP were conducting with people, [7:41] the reasons they cited all led back to Trump, whether it was the Iran war, the knock-on effect [7:48] on the economy, gas prices, the alleged corruption, which many Americans feel incensed by because [7:56] they're struggling to feed their kids or, you know, to pay for fuel at the gas pump. [8:00] And there is all this apparent huge corruption going on and misuse of the administration and so on. [8:07] And he put it all together and he got a real kick in the ballots, to put it mildly. [8:11] And what happens now? Because the White House posted this morning on X, [8:16] he's still the president and he is for another two years. And yes, he's lamed up to a degree, [8:22] but he still maintains the power and authority of the presidency and the White House. [8:27] Is he going to be a leopard that finally changes spots at the age of 80 or whatever he is now? [8:32] The man that says never apologize. I doubt we'll see him change his spots. [8:37] However, he is the art of the deal, right? So he will have to negotiate with Democrats. [8:41] What is the reality of what lies ahead? The president, he's been in office with a [8:46] Republican majority for the past two years. So the economy and the state it's in now [8:50] and what it will be for the next two years, President Trump owns that. [8:54] He will want to blame any shortfall on Democrats. However, he's the president. [8:59] What's your message to him today? I mean, he's waking up. [9:01] He'll be enraged by the scale of the defeat. I felt he's been really struggling about how to resolve [9:07] the Iran war thing for months and months now. Very hard to extricate in any way that doesn't [9:12] look like abject surrender. But I think he has to get out of it somehow. And the last thing he should [9:16] be doing is doing what some of the neocons want him to do, which is go and bomb Iran again. [9:21] What's your message to Donald Trump this morning? [9:23] His only way forward is to return to the campaign promises he made to the American people in 2024. [9:30] It's literally what we campaigned on. Make America great again. Excuse me. Put Americans first. [9:38] And that's literally what he promised. That's what he should be doing. [9:41] However, will he do that? It's I don't think so. [9:45] What a difference a day makes. The building behind me might look the same, but many of the people [9:49] elected to work there are about to change. It's our job at Uncensored to make sense of it. [9:53] And as the dust settles, let me tell you about something you can do that's more important to [9:58] most of us than any election night, making sure our families are properly looked after. [10:03] Take Paul and Sarah, both 40, healthy, two kids and already insured at a rate they thought was fine. [10:08] Then they compared their options through Select Quote, made the switch and saved more than $34,000 [10:14] over their 10 year term. $34,000. If you've never compared life insurance policies, [10:19] you're probably overpaying. Select Quote's licensed agents compare [10:23] with 100 products from at least six trusted carriers and find you a better rate for free. [10:29] They've been doing it for over 40 years. It's fast. [10:49] Brian, you know, it's interesting because people say it's a repudiation of MAGA to which I say, [10:55] well, I'm not so sure about that. I think it's the sense that a lot of the MAGA right have about Trump, [11:01] including obviously Marjorie and others, who've been vocally saying for some time that he's been [11:06] doing the very things he said he wouldn't do when he campaigned in 2024. In other words, this is not [11:13] actually MAGA that we're seeing. It's kind of the opposite. And therefore, if the ballot box has [11:19] repudiated anything, it's repudiated the apparent betrayal of what everyone thought MAGA was. No [11:25] foreign wars, America first, get cost of living and inflation down, release all the Epstein files. [11:30] That was what people thought they were voting for with Donald Trump. And the sort of sadness for him [11:35] is if you look at the first few months of his administration, second time around, [11:39] it looked like, you know, a very energetic new Trump who'd learned his lessons from the first [11:44] time. Lots of a blizzard of executive orders taking on the woke brigade over things like transgender [11:50] athletes and women's sport. Everyone agreed with that. Shutting the southern border. Big tick. Most [11:54] Americans agreed with that. But even on that, the excesses of ICE agents came into play, which then [11:59] sullied the narrative about the immigration policy and so on. A lot of this is completely self-inflicted. [12:05] It is. You know, I stood in front of the White House on a daily basis with my previous network, [12:10] criticizing Republicans for not following through, Speaker Johnson for not following [12:15] through on the Republican agenda. I criticized President Trump early on, on bombing Iran. And [12:20] a lot of journalists in that world freaked out and said, wait a minute, you disagree with the [12:24] president? I'm like, yes, I do. I tried to warn Republican MAGA viewers that we were looking at a [12:31] potential earthquake come the midterms. They didn't want to hear it. They called us a panicking, [12:37] they called both of us panicking, that we should have any concern, trust the plan. Well, [12:42] the plan didn't work out. And unfortunately, now MAGA, in my opinion, and I know I'm probably [12:47] going to get some, some kickback on this, but it's, it died last night. There's a new division [12:52] in this country, in this country. Do you agree with that, Marjorie? Oh, MAGA is completely dead. [12:56] It's dead. Yeah. The coalition that created MAGA, that got behind the president and [13:01] handed him power and put Republicans in the majority has been completely devastated. But it [13:06] didn't just happen last night. It happened over the course of a year or more. And the president [13:12] is responsible for killing it. As we're talking, J.D. Vance has said, [13:14] the reason we lost is the war. He said, the reason we lost is the war. Everyone knows why we lost. And [13:19] any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there. I mean, Brian, it's interesting. [13:23] There's going to be a lot of jostling now for life post Donald Trump. J.D. Vance has obviously been [13:29] the front runner in all the polls to replace Trump. But if you're too aligned to what Trump has been [13:35] doing, you can be too damaged to perhaps get the nomination. What do you think is going to happen? [13:40] Well, I think it would have been smart months ago when the things started to go sideways to [13:46] separate himself from President Trump and some of these bad decisions that were not popular with the [13:50] American people. He didn't do that. He was silent, but didn't openly criticize. And I think that's [13:55] the problem. Is it too late? I don't know. You know, a lot can happen in two years, obviously. [14:01] But there is needs to be a new leader. I feel like a third party. That's my personal opinion. We both go [14:08] back back and forth on this. It may take decades to actually get where a third party candidate can [14:13] likely win the majority vote here. Just the electoral process doesn't add up to that. [14:19] But there is a need in this country for people that to join both left and right that simply love [14:24] this country, want good policies, put all the social issues aside, let that go down in the states [14:29] and just govern this country like it should be and not some lobbyists, not special interests. And I'm [14:35] afraid that MAGA was hijacked by special interests, donors and foreign countries to what it is today. [14:42] I also think Donald Trump's ears have been contaminated by people who I think have been [14:47] spewing complete nonsense. People like Mark Levin, right? Yeah. And Laura Loomer. And Laura Loomer and [14:54] Ben Shapiro and others. I mean, Levin this morning, because I was pointing out to people, [14:58] let's play the clip, actually. This is a clip of him and Ben Shapiro trying to downplay the [15:03] significance of the Iran war. This was recently. Take a look. When we look at the Fox survey, [15:09] Iran is a four percent issue with the American people. So whatever happens in the midterms, [15:17] it doesn't appear that Iran is going to drive anything one way or another. What's your take on [15:22] this? I think that's exactly right. I mean, to me, those two are completely discredited now. [15:30] Mark Levin woke up this morning not in a good mood. He posted Piers Morgan as a washed up scumbag. [15:36] He will always be a washed up scumbag. He always has been a washed up scumbag. And in two countries. [15:42] His own country has gone to hell, thanks to people who share his pathetic imbecility. But [15:48] he spends his days trashing our country and platforming terror loving jihadists [15:53] while undermining our military and commander in chief. He's another buffoon who has no problem [15:58] with Iran having a nuclear weapon. And then he tore into Tucker Carlson and various others. I mean, [16:03] to be clear, I love America. I don't trash America. I feel very grateful to have lived and worked here [16:08] on and off for the last 20 years, have a home here. My daughter was born here. I have a huge, [16:14] huge affection for America and Americans. Yeah. And when it comes to pathetic imbecility, [16:21] I would suggest that people like Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro, who've been leading this warmongering, [16:26] absurd rhetoric now all year and are continuing now. Go and finish the job, Donald Trump. What, [16:32] make it worse? They're calling for the annihilation of an entire country. Every man, woman and child. [16:38] You talk about insanity. It's just completely evil to even speak that way. And it comes back to Israel [16:43] with them because they are so blindly implacably dedicated in their heads to Netanyahu's government [16:50] doing no wrong that they can't see the wood for the trees, in my estimation, about the damage that [16:55] this Netanyahu government has done to Israel standing around the world and to Israelis. [17:00] I don't know what they must be thinking. They're hurting Jewish people and the way they speak. [17:05] And, you know, let's take it down to something very granular. We talk about over 22,000 children, [17:12] just little kids have been killed in Gaza. And then you take it another place, Iran. All these children [17:18] were killed in the bombing of a school. These things are, everyone should be against that. But they're [17:24] not. Mark Levin, Ben Shapiro, Laura Loomer call for more of it. And those are the voices that we should [17:32] absolutely ostracize, reject, kick out of our movement and say, you have no place here. Because [17:38] what they speak of and what they demand of the President of the United States is horrific. [17:44] And the consultants, the consulting class that have used this not only to enrich themselves, [17:49] but position themselves for other candidates. And the lobbyists. And the lobbyists. The White House [17:54] is used as like a professional lobbying machine. So in a way, Pierce, I almost think the President [17:58] didn't realize how disconnected he really was. He goes to the rallies, and he's got a lot of people [18:05] at these rallies. But I think he had blinders on because the consultants were telling him, [18:09] America loves you. You're no problem. We're winning in every state. And the reality was, [18:13] the American people are drifting slowly away from the Republican Party. [18:16] Yeah, but Brian, don't give him a pass. Donald Trump is not stupid. He knows what's going on. [18:22] He himself said no more foreign wars. And then he went and started one. So I don't give him a pass. [18:27] If he had the smarts about him, he should try and bring people like you back into his administration. [18:33] People that are going to be honest with him and try and steer him back to what you would argue is [18:38] actually what MAGA was supposed to be, the way he laid it out. That's the irony. [18:42] I don't think he wants honesty. This is a man that ended his campaign in front of the reflection [18:46] pool and bragged all about the reflection pool. [18:50] Shame he didn't look in it and have a bit of self-reflection. [18:52] That would have told a lot. [18:54] Stay with me, you two. It's fascinating. I mean, it's really interesting the journey you've [18:57] both been on, clearly, right? Because you were both full-on Trumpers and now two of his big critics. [19:03] I think there's a lot that share your view on the MAGA right. You do feel disillusioned [19:07] about the way it's all gone. Stay with us, though, because I'm going to bring in now [19:11] somebody who will be feeling very, very smug indeed. Joining us now is the founder and CEO of [19:16] The Young Turks, Cenk Uygur, who texted me during last night's results show to gloat, [19:22] and also the political advisor and radio host, Janet Ellis. So welcome to both of you. [19:27] Well, Cenk, come on, spit it out. You obviously are going to be feeling unhealthily smug this morning, [19:33] but you know what? You've got a right to be because you called this and it's played out [19:40] how you said it would and how you wanted it to. [19:42] Yeah. So look, there's a lot of winners and losers from last night, but I feel proud about [19:50] our contribution. Look, nobody thought that South Carolina was winnable. We did release a [19:56] documentary a couple of weeks ago called The Closetocracy about Lindsey Graham, and the point [20:01] there wasn't his sexual behavior. The point was the hypocrisy and the corruption. And that's exactly [20:07] the chickens that came home to roost both in the country and in South Carolina last night. So that's [20:12] a seat we picked up that no one believed we could. In Michigan, I said that, you know, all the nonsense [20:17] on cable news was ridiculous and that Abdullah Said was going to win and win rather comfortably, [20:22] and that's exactly what happened. But look, in that one, we released the rebellion pack ad, [20:28] and it seems to have been incredibly popular. And meanwhile, CNN discredited entirely. [20:35] So they kept saying, oh, Abdullah Said has problems with black voters. He won 91% of black voters. [20:41] Oh, he has a problem with Jewish voters. No, no, he has a problem with us serving Israel. 60% of [20:47] Jewish voters voted for Abdullah Said in Michigan. CNN was lying the entire time trying to damage him. [20:54] I actually think that they were grossly bigoted. They kept saying, oh, if the Muslim man wins, [20:59] people won't feel safe. They'll feel unsafe. I think that they have a lot of reflecting to do [21:06] at that network. But I think the big winners are the populist left. And so, yeah, I thought that the [21:12] Democrats were going to win big. I had, you know, one of the predictions that said that they were going [21:17] to win the most, 55 seats in the Senate, and it looks like they're going to win even more. I think [21:21] Ryan Graham had it a little bit higher, so I'll give him credit for that. And then everybody else [21:25] thought we were nuts. I said 242, which was beyond what anybody was saying in the House. And now it [21:30] looks like it might be 263. That's amazing, right? But why did I say that? Because finally, [21:36] we had populists left running. Tallarico, Abdullah Said, Josh Turk in Iowa, another race that people [21:42] thought they couldn't win. My pack, Rebellion Pack, went five for five, including Turk in Iowa, [21:47] and including Richard Ojeda in North Carolina, nine. He took out the head of the Republicans' [21:54] election efforts in Congress. And that was a stunning upset victory. That brother's as populist as it gets. [22:00] He wants body cams on lobbyists. And now he's going to Congress. So another giant winner last [22:06] night is Ro Khanna. He's the leader of the populist left movement. And he was the leader saying no more [22:12] wars, no more funding of Israel. And he made a great point on the Young Turks last night. He said, [22:18] look, Donald Trump said no more aid to Israel. That's now the baseline. So if a Democrat says we [22:24] should give money to Israel, they're to the right of Donald Trump. So after this election, [22:29] the biggest winner is the American people and the planet, because we cannot continue this war. [22:35] If Donald Trump continues this war, it'll be spitting in the face of America. There's never [22:40] been a clearer mandate. And I don't know that he survives to the end of his term politically if he [22:46] reignites this war. The American people could not have been clearer. And yes, let's get out of our [22:50] alliance with Israel. Next, we'll launch Defund Israel, because we've had enough of this. And the American [22:56] people were super clear. So all the people who told you that this wasn't going to happen and oh [23:02] my God, don't vote for the populist. They were wrong and they were trying to deceive you. And now [23:07] this is really important. The American people have given us an opportunity and we need to take that [23:12] opportunity and deliver for them, because if we don't deliver, then they'll just go back to throwing [23:17] us out. Okay. Generalists, but before I ask you a question, I sort of point out to viewers that it's [23:25] unbelievably hot here in D.C. It's like 23 degrees Celsius, like mid 70s in the early November. Seems [23:33] completely nuts, but that's why it's so bright. And while we're all, well, why I'm beginning to sweat [23:38] quite profusely. So if I start to disappear in a drowning pool, you'll realize what happened. [23:43] Jenna, this has been an unbelievable shellacking. Yeah, exactly. Yes. This has been an unbelievable [23:50] shellacking for the Republicans. It's got to be a moment of extreme self-reflection. J.D. Vance has [23:57] just come out and said it was the Iran war. I kind of agree with that because I think the economic [24:02] issues that people have had, both working and middle class Americans, can be drawn to a direct [24:07] line to that decision to attack Iran and the effect on global energy and the effect on cost of living and [24:13] so on. What are you feeling? I mean, Marjorie Taylor Greene here saying MAGA is dead. It's done. [24:19] That's it. Do you agree? Yeah, absolutely. And I agree also with Governor DeSantis that [24:26] he said this morning in Tallahassee that this was a close to extinction level event for Republicans. And [24:32] this didn't just start with 2024. I think this was a total vindication of those of us in the primary [24:40] that said that we needed to move past the Trump era, say he did great in his first term. [24:44] But in 2024, we as Republicans wanted a new leader who would have had eight years in office. And so [24:52] Trump coming in in 2024 as already a lame duck, yes, he did have the mandate going into his second term, [25:01] but he failed to deliver on that. And that really wasn't surprising for those of us who have worked for [25:06] him and who knew him, because at the end of the day, this has always been all about himself. And [25:11] so while the Iran war, I gave him a lot of leeway initially to say, yeah, we don't want to have Iran [25:17] have a nuclear capabilities, but it became a war. And it was all about what he wanted for his foreign [25:23] policy legacy, not what the voters and the MAGA base that put him in power ultimately had voted him [25:31] back into office for. And so now what's going to happen is that there will be a clash between the [25:37] old establishment GOP that there was a referendum on last night as well. Uh, Greg Abbott losing in [25:42] Texas. That's not about Donald Trump. That's about the establishment GOP. That's about the young [25:47] voters saying we want something different. So there is a clear rejection of both MAGA, Donald Trump's [25:53] handpicked candidates. He was on the ballot last night, but there's also a rejection of the [25:57] establishment GOP. So there is going to be a lot of maneuvering, a lot of brokering. I think that [26:02] Donald Trump is going to try to make deals to not be impeached. There are some reports coming out [26:07] saying that he would prefer to resign rather than be impeached. So I'm not even sure he's going to [26:11] survive the next two years. It's going to be very interesting. But what needs to happen for the GOP [26:15] is to go back to their roots. Only 17% of evangelical self-identified voters came out in this midterm [26:22] compared to 2022, where there was 24%. They are ignoring their base, which are the evangelical [26:29] Christians who want the traditional Republican values in the GOP, and they want that policy. [26:36] That's what MAGA has rejected. That's what the establishment GOP has rejected. And so if the GOP [26:41] wants to rally for 2028, they're going to have to pick a different leader. And I personally hope that [26:47] that is Governor Ron DeSantis. And I think that we should have picked him in 2024 as well. That's the [26:52] lesson from this last election. Yeah, well, I think DeSantis has played [26:56] quite a clever game, actually. And he's obviously been a very successful governor. There's no [26:59] question about that. And of course, you know, DeSantis was leading the way for life post-Trump [27:06] to the Republicans until the Democrats launched what he called the lawfare assault on him. From that [27:12] moment, Trump went back up and DeSantis crashed away. You know, now it's going to be interesting, [27:18] isn't it? Because I looked at all the big wins for the Democrats last night and thought, well, [27:23] who of all this lot could actually mount a presidential run? And part of it will be, [27:29] I think, presenting to the American people a sense that they are a more civil candidate than the way [27:35] that they talk about Trump, who they believe to a man and woman is the sort of emblem of incivility. [27:42] And I wanted, in the context of that, as I'm talking to you, Polymarket say that John Ossoff [27:47] is now the front runner to be the Democratic presidential nominee, up to 23 percent now, [27:53] with AOC at 16 and Gavin Newsom at 15. It doesn't surprise me. He made a very measured and civil [28:00] acceptance speech last night. Now, by contrast, your guy, Abdul El-Sayed, amazing achievement to [28:06] become the first Muslim senator. Let me put that on the record. But I thought his victory speech was [28:12] actually pretty insufferable in many ways. Not remotely, I would say, humble or gracious. It [28:20] was just a good old bit of Trump rhetoric, really, but reversed into Democrat voices. [28:25] But also, there was this extraordinary scuffle he had with a very good journalist, who I know, [28:31] called James Matthews from Sky News, who is one of the best journalists on American, [28:37] on British television working in America. And this happened. Let's take a look. [28:41] Are you registered to vote? Are you registered to vote in the city of Michigan? [28:45] Are you registered to vote? So why would I care to have a conversation with you? [28:48] Abdul El- This isn't going to me. Why would I care to have a conversation? [28:50] I'm a journalist. I'm a journalist. [28:51] You're just in the UK. You know how many votes I want to get in the UK? [28:53] This election. Zero. I am never running for office in the UK. [28:56] But this election matters. This election matters to the world. [28:59] You're bidding to be a senator in- A senator in where? What country? [29:05] What country? In the United States. [29:06] Yes. And what country are you in? [29:07] The leader of the free world. What country are you in? [29:09] What country are you in? I'm based in the United States. [29:11] Yes. No, no, no. But you report for where? Where are your viewers? Where are your viewers? [29:15] They're international. No, no, no. They are international. [29:17] Sky News is not viewed in the United States of America. It's only viewed in the UK. [29:19] It is. It is. It is. [29:21] Like five people watching. We have an international audience. [29:22] So I'm just going to tell you. I'm just going to tell you. [29:23] Abdul, is your election not relevant? I've answered all the questions. [29:25] Is it not relevant to the UK? I've answered all the questions. [29:28] Is your election not relevant to the rest of the world? [29:30] For your viewers in the United Kingdom. [29:31] Is it not relevant to the rest of the world? [29:32] So I'm going to ask you to stop chasing me around, please. [29:33] Thank you. I'm not chasing you around. Thank you. [29:34] I'm asking you questions. [29:38] I mean, if that was Donald Trump, you'd say he's arrogant, he's obnoxious, he's patronizing, [29:43] he's physically manhandling him, all for asking perfectly rational questions. [29:48] I thought that was pretty awful, actually, by Elside. And it revealed to me a slight [29:52] anger management issue with this guy. [29:57] Yeah, no, I couldn't disagree more. [29:58] You know all about anger management, Jake. So that's why I'm coming to you on that. [30:02] Yeah. So look, but who won, Piers? My side won. Abdul El Said's side won. [30:11] So no, this reframing it as like somehow civility won. No, we kicked their ass. [30:15] And did I look civil on air to you? No. Was my rebellion pack add civil to the Israelis, to AIPAC? [30:23] No, we had AIPAC Tears mugs on our set and we landslided AIPAC and we landslided the mainstream. [30:31] And look, Piers, there's something you're, you know, you, it's hard for you to acknowledge, [30:36] which is that, but maybe you will. I don't know. You've come a long way in so many different ways, [30:40] just meaning that you've been open minded, which I appreciate, which is that mainstream media is [30:44] our opponents. I mean, CNN smeared Abdul El Said more than Fox News did. I mean, they were grotesquely [30:51] bigoted. And that ad that was, went so viral from us, everybody on cable news was on a different [30:57] planet. They were calling it offensive. The American people loved that ad and who was right [31:01] and who was wrong. It matters who was right, not for bragging reasons, not for ego, because it's [31:07] about determining where the American people stand. So when Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro said, [31:11] oh, the American people love genocide and they love endless wars in the Middle East, [31:15] they were preposterous. No one should have ever listened to them, [31:18] but they weren't that different than Dana Bash and Jake Tapper and Van Jones on CNN. [31:22] So constantly telling us the American people want to serve Israel. No, they don't. [31:27] So the two giant conclusions from this election are the American people are sick of corruption. [31:33] I've said this so many times on your show. Israel is not the iceberg. It's the tip of the iceberg. [31:39] The iceberg is corruption, money and politics. And what was Abdul's number one line? Get money out [31:45] of politics. Tallarico, same exact thing. Get money out of politics because all our politicians do is [31:51] serve the donor class. And don't think we don't know that some of the Democratic leadership serves [31:55] the same people. So we got our eyes on it. Just because, you know, I helped win some of these [32:01] elections or our groups did and the populists did doesn't mean that we go, oh, yeah, just we're going [32:06] to let Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries run this place and we're going to be civil and good little boys [32:11] and girls. No, we're going to go into Congress. At least some of my allies are. And we're going [32:15] to create good trouble, which is stick up for the American people. And if you go back to trying [32:21] to serve your donors, we're going to come and kick your ass and we're not going to be civil about it [32:26] politically. He sounds like one thing I would never know. Well, I would never. Yeah, exactly. [32:31] I would never expect you to be civil or to be a good little boy. So none of that is a surprising [32:37] statement. But I have to hand it to you, Cenk. You're back to winner. And it's been a very, [32:42] very good day for people on the left and people like you that care passionately as you do about [32:48] that issue of Israel. It's quite clear what the American people voted in that regard last night. [32:53] So thank you both for joining me. I appreciate it. I'll be joined by Emily Maitlis, superstar [32:58] journalist from my homeland, presenter of the News Agents. Now, I want to start actually by playing a clip [33:05] from my appearance on the News Agents yesterday when you tried to hoist me for my arrogant petard [33:12] and said to me, come on then, give me a firm prediction. So I did. Let's take a look. And my [33:17] prediction is a big blue wave bordering on tsunami. I think the Democrats are going to win both the [33:25] House of Representatives and the Senate. I think it will be quite a comfortable win in both. And I think [33:30] the key big wins to look out for are Tallarico in Texas and El Saeed in Michigan. Because if those [33:37] two guys win, then it is an earthquake politically for the progressive left winning in places nobody [33:45] thought they could win. And that, I think, lays down the two years that then run up to a general [33:51] election in a fascinating political way. And it raises the question, as I said earlier, of what [33:56] happens to the MAGA movement, to Trumpism. He might moan about the results. I actually think the [34:01] American system on elections is very, very good. There is actually very little hard evidence of [34:07] any fraud that goes on, and they tend to catch it when it does. So I think you can be confident in [34:12] the system. So for all the squealing that may come, and look, this is premature. He may, if he wins [34:17] the Senate, the squealing will be one of joy, and he'll claim victory, and rightly so. But I do think [34:23] it's going to be a very big night for the Democrats, a bad night for the Republicans, and a night of big [34:30] self-reflection for the Republicans and for the guy in the big White House behind me. [34:35] Well, Emily, apart from putting in the word Nostradamus next to me in a little [34:41] badge next time I appear, look, people were predicting similar stuff. I don't take credit [34:45] for being the only person with that thing. I predicted that. But I could feel it. I could feel it. [34:49] In the same way I could feel Trump was going to win in 2016, I could really feel the opposite [34:53] this time. J.D. Vance has come out and said it's about the Iran War. I kind of agree with that. I [34:59] do think all the issues which people were indicating at the exit polls basically revolve around the [35:05] Iran War and the corruption, which Cenk alluded to. A lot of people very concerned that whilst they're [35:12] suffering economically, the rich ones are all enriching themselves by being corrupt. [35:18] Look, I sat here two years ago when he won in 2024, and he really blew the doors off. He [35:24] gained the House. He gained the Senate. He completely captured the swing states. And it was all on him. [35:29] And I remember saying at that point, whatever happens next is all on him. You can't blame the [35:35] Democrats. You can't blame people in the House. You can't blame the senators. You can't blame the [35:40] Supreme Court. It is all on Trump now. And it was. And what was extraordinary, I think, about last night's [35:46] vote was it showed how tightly connected what he had done was to how people voted. It wasn't some [35:55] ethereal problem outside of his making. It wasn't a COVID. It wasn't some big sort of cataclysmic [36:02] event that he couldn't control. It wasn't even the Russia war, the invasion of Ukraine. It was stuff [36:09] that he had chosen to do. And because it all happened in the space of about seven months, [36:14] it was very easy to draw that line. Yeah. And also, this happened. This is why I think [36:19] self-inflicted wounds. I mean, he didn't need to do any of this. And if he hadn't done, I mean, [36:23] we'll never know now how the tariff war might have played out. We don't know, right? Because it could [36:28] have worked. I mean, I talked to top economists. He said, look, it may work. We'll never know now, [36:33] because he got eviscerated by the compounding issue of the Iran war and the energy spikes. [36:39] I had a Republican strategist on our show overnight last night, Brian Lanza, saying, [36:43] oh, I think it was just a bit too early. You know, the Iran war might still work. It might still yield [36:49] stuff. He was still playing the old card of, dare I say, February 2026, where he was trying to argue [36:55] that if we'd just given it more time, it would all have worked out OK. The American people were not [37:00] prepared to give it more time. And what is so fascinating is that JD Vance has said the same [37:06] thing right at the president's side. And he has actually tried to tie those words back to Trump [37:12] himself. But he has basically listed things that are now staring all of us in the face, which was that [37:18] Trump chose that path. There was no getting away from it. It's not an inflation thing. It's, you know, [37:23] it all comes back to him. And the people around him can see that. And they are now starting to say [37:28] they're all breaking ranks. I agree. Now, you two are all friends, Emily and Marjorie. [37:33] And just to remind viewers who don't know what I'm talking about, this is what happened last time [37:38] they sat next to each other. Do you think President Trump, Mr. Trump, is closer to picking [37:43] his VP? And should you be on that list? Oh, you know, that's the question everyone asks. And no, [37:48] I don't think Nikki Haley should be on the list. But of course, President Trump will choose who he wants [37:54] for VP. Would you like to be on that list? He's got a long list. I support President Trump [37:59] in any way, any way he'd ask me. But I can assure you it won't be Nikki Haley. And can you tell me [38:04] why so many people that support Donald Trump love conspiracy theories, including yourself? He seems to [38:11] attract lots of conspiracy theorists. Well, let me tell you, you're a conspiracy theorist and the left [38:16] and the media spreads more conspiracy theories. We like the truth. We like supporting our constitution, [38:21] our freedoms and America first. What about Jewish space lasers? Tell us about Jewish space lasers. [38:26] No, why don't you go talk about Jewish space lasers? And really, why don't you fuck off? How [38:31] about that? Thanks. Thank you very much. So I think it'd be hard to say it was a reasonably short and [38:39] quite, you know, tricky encounter. So how are you feeling now? Life has moved on. I don't know. I actually [38:44] haven't talked to Emily since then. And I still stand with the words I said there today. Those were [38:50] definitely ridiculous questions. And I felt like pretty much like El Syed as he was being questioned [38:55] by Sky News. Here in America, we make our decisions and we know our issues. And when we get asked rude [39:02] questions like that, we're going to push back and we don't care who it is. And it, you know, [39:07] and I'll go back to JD. JD wants to frame this election loss on the Iran war because that's easy [39:14] for him to go against. The reality is this was a complete referendum on Donald Trump. Democrats [39:19] didn't go out there and win big. Donald Trump destroyed the Republican Party. He destroyed [39:25] MAGA. It's not just the war. It's cost of living. It's Republican failure to ever fix health care. [39:31] It's Republican failure to ever care about small businesses and regular Americans that I fought for. [39:37] I think it's a big credibility. He called me a traitor and and my son's life was threatened. [39:42] And Trump told me that I deserved it on that issue. But it's also it's it's literally put [39:48] Americans first. And Donald Trump blew it. And everyone that stood there clapping like stupid [39:53] little train baby seals right behind him own it all. And so they're going to have to recognize the real [40:00] issues. Emily, Marjorie's gone on quite a journey since that clip. I was just thinking that when you [40:05] interviewed her then, very different Marjorie Taylor Greene now with a very different fan base and [40:10] a very different view of Donald Trump. Look, can I just say since that moment in the Mar-a-Lago [40:16] ballroom, my admiration for Marjorie Taylor Greene has only increased. You called out a bully before many [40:24] in your own party did. And what you did over the Epstein files was absolutely the right move. And [40:31] arguably it is what pushed him finally to release those files. Now, they didn't do it in a clever [40:36] way. They did it in an appalling way. And actually, many of the victims still found themselves exposed to [40:40] the world when they've never told their stories before. But I do think it was pressure from people [40:45] like Marjorie who really pushed that. And I do think it's extraordinary that you were prepared to stand up [40:50] to the party. But I'm so happy to have had the chance to hear from you that actually your views on [40:56] Jewish space lasers haven't changed. Because that was the unknown in all this. I never got a chance [41:01] to go back to you, Marjorie. Well, have they changed? Wait, poor Emily. I never said that to [41:05] begin with. And so that's actually... What is your view on Jewish space lasers? I never said it. [41:09] But what is your view? I have no idea. Well, the militaries have been using redirective energy [41:14] for a long time. I never said this. So you guys are selling a conspiracy theory right here. [41:18] I'm going to say anything. Don't keep me out of it. [41:20] Emily still is. But really, the reality is I've always been that person. [41:24] I'm not sure I'm selling the conspiracy theory. [41:25] She's actually paying you compliments. It was your wrestling for her. Thank you, Emily. [41:30] Oh, 100%. Look, I never got the chance to go back and say, [41:34] could you clear that one up? And you have done now. And so I'm so grateful, [41:37] because I feel like this is my own Marjorie Taylor Greene scoop. [41:40] That you don't believe in the conspiracy everyone accused you of believing in. [41:44] Here's the reality being told right here is Emily never knew me. Most people didn't know me. [41:49] And I was defined in short little clips and fake headlines. And the person that I've always been [41:56] is the woman that you saw come out and fight for rape victims. Stand up to the president of the [42:00] United States and say, no, you know, when we said America first, we really fucking meant it. [42:05] And Trump is the one that blew it. And that's the person I've always been. [42:09] And I've had to fight people. [42:10] Is it weird though? Marjorie, is it weird? [42:12] Because everyone defines me over who I wasn't. [42:16] Yeah. Genuinely, to walk into a crowd, as we both were there, and ask about the cult-like [42:22] status of some of the people around him. And you have proved that you're not of it. You took [42:28] yourself out of it. But I think it's pretty hard to ignore the fact that people around Trump [42:35] believed the things that he told them to believe. Whether it was about him winning an election that [42:41] he clearly lost. Whether it was to do with, you know, whether the Democrats were all going to, [42:46] you know, the Muslims are going to come and rape everyone, you know, so-and-so to jihadist, [42:50] all the rest of it. He basically, he basically allowed people around him to enact a cult-like [42:57] status. And actually, I think it was fair enough to come in and say, why do you think all these [43:02] people are doing it? Because what we're seeing now, Marjorie, is extraordinary. There's going to be a [43:06] load of people waking up today trying to reevaluate their whole relationship with Donald Trump, [43:12] right? Some of them have even started to look like a MAGA image of Donald Trump. And so you're [43:16] kind of like, what happens to you now? Is that gone? Are you rethinking the surgery? Are you rethinking [43:23] the look? Are you still wearing the MAGA cap? Or is that gone now? [43:26] No, I fully agree with you. It was turned, it turned into a cult where they worshiped a man. [43:32] And that was something I always had a hard time with is, you know, [43:35] I worship God. I'm a Christian. Jesus is my savior. I think Brian can speak to it because [43:39] he spent years... Don't drag me in this, Jerry Springer. [43:43] Actually, I think we've brought everyone together. I feel like Kofi Ahan is. [43:47] Yes. But we watched Dan Scavino put up these constant images. We watched Trust the Plan and QAnon. [43:55] Which, by the way, they used those individuals in the very beginning of the campaign. [43:59] But then as they got closer to the election, [44:02] they wanted to eliminate any type of QAnon, Trust the Plan reference because they knew [44:07] it was working against them in the broader election. But they used that conspiracy theory [44:13] to kind of pull people in. To keep the cult going. [44:16] To keep the cult going. I always say this with women. Trump would always say, [44:19] we need to get the suburban women. We need the suburban women. I think he got them in 24. [44:23] He did. He got them in 2018. [44:25] In 2018. No, sorry. In 2018 was when they started leaving him. [44:28] When they started coming. It was the Virginia women, yeah. [44:30] But the Epstein debacle, you have lost. And we travel this country. New York, LA, you go anywhere. [44:37] Women do not support that decision. They stand behind Marjorie. [44:40] He also has lost the Latino vote big time because he had the majority of that in the last election. [44:45] He's lost independents. He's lost many moderate Republicans. He's lost a lot. [44:49] Maha moms are totally gone. Emily, Marjorie is saying that she thinks MAGA is dead. Do you agree? [44:56] Let's see. I mean, this is Lazarus, right, we're talking about. He tends to come back from the... [45:02] If you told me that after the attempted insurrection at the Capitol on January the 6th, [45:07] that we would still find him as president. He'd win bigger in 2024. [45:13] Yeah, I would have had a problem believing that. So I'm not saying MAGA is dead. I'm not saying the [45:17] movement is over, but I do think there needs to be a really big calibration. And I think [45:22] one of the things that is worrying me is that if he is like a caged animal, narrowed and controlled [45:30] at home, then it's the rest of the world that might suffer. You know, we don't know what his plans are [45:36] for the Middle East now. We don't know what his plans are for Europe. We don't know who he's going to [45:40] come in and support a whole bunch of crazies going to the polls in May, April of 2027 in the European [45:47] elections. We don't know what power he still has to inflict damage on places that aren't just [45:53] America. Or, judging by his quite mollifying rhetoric last night, is he aware of the potential [45:59] danger he and his family and his business associates may be in with a Democrat-run Congress [46:05] and investigations and impeachment and so on? You know, is that an indicator that he may... [46:09] he may actually change gears? I think that lasted five minutes. I mean, [46:12] from what I remember, the truth social tweets came out and he said, let's work together. [46:17] And then the next thing I saw was a cap saying veto on it. So I'm not sure that... [46:21] Given my staggeringly good prediction yesterday, I'm going to ask all of you now to put your [46:26] prediction hats on. Go forward 2028, because there's a lot going on in both parties. [46:31] A real battle for the hearts, minds and souls of both parties here. I put out earlier, [46:36] Ossoffy DeSantis, anybody? Your thoughts? This is a long runway, Piers. Give me a couple of names [46:42] that could be in the mix. I can't even give you names because the GOP is so destroyed right now. [46:46] Literally. I called... Tucker Carlson? I called earlier that the Republican [46:51] Party needs to kick Donald Trump out of the party because he's destroyed it. He's endorsed horrible [46:56] candidates that now hold elected office. The party in the current condition that it is right now will [47:02] not be supported by the American people. They don't support the neocons. They don't support the [47:07] corporate interests. They don't support Israel. They don't support killing children with American [47:11] tax dollars in the military. And that's the current state of the Republican Party. [47:15] Let me put it to you. Is a Tucker, Marjorie Taylor Greene ticket impossible? [47:20] We've both said we don't want to run for president. [47:22] Well, I normally take that as a confession. You do want to. [47:25] I agree. Brian just winked at me, right? [47:27] I've always told her, I see the support. Well, I see the support. [47:31] That was a very knowing wink. [47:32] That was like... Keep going on that. No, the thing is, [47:36] I know the support that she has with the American people. That is not in her plans right now. I'm [47:40] going to speak for you on your behalf right now. This is not in her plans. [47:43] Thank you for helping not to make fake news here today. [47:45] But if you do go for VP, I'm definitely rerunning that clip. [47:49] Who do you think? Come on, just a couple of names that could be contending. [47:52] The Republicans need a woman now. I think the Epstein scandal was so damaging to Trump. [47:57] I don't know who that woman is. And I think [47:59] none of the people that I cast my eye over in the MAGA bunch really should be in the frame for [48:08] 2028. I think they need to really show that they've understood that scandal. And frankly, [48:14] they need to get away from the bros a bit. They need to get away from frat boy Pete and all that [48:20] crazy testosterone that's trying to push the military into new wars and new foreign wars. [48:25] I think they need a break from all that. And I think that they haven't yet. I don't know. [48:29] I don't think they've found their woman yet. I mean, I think it's easy today to put money on [48:35] John Ossoff, who has, to your point, sworn that he's going to sit out his full term as Georgia [48:40] Senator. But yeah, look, they've got two years. Very interesting is going to be. Thank you all for [48:45] coming in. I'd like the fact you two are now almost in the same camp. I mean, who would have thought [48:49] that? I didn't recognize you when you came in, but now that's all the clear. [48:52] I don't know how Peter's like throws the bar punch. That's what I remembered from, Jesus. [48:56] We've resolved the Jewish space laser crisis. We've put that behind us. You're now liberal [49:02] bedfellows. What more could the world want in life? Absolutely not, but carry on. [49:06] Actually, you two are doing a good podcast. I'm just thinking this. No, she's going to be VP. [49:11] She's got no time for me. I'm not going to be VP. I'm thinking blonde's uncensored. [49:14] And I'm not going to be defined by Brits here. Okay. Thank you all very much. Thank you. [49:19] For a long time now, we've been racking our brains about how we can bring you even more [49:24] uncensored without making our small team work 24 hours a day instead of the current 23. And with that [49:29] lofty goal in mind, we are thrilled to announce the Uncensored Club. It's the new home of extra content, [49:35] which only you get to see. Do you mind if I pray? What in the hairy depths of Harry [49:43] hell is going on? He was not intrinsically nasty. Can he put a curse on you? I can't put [49:49] curse on my brother. He's a very good man. Plus app-free episodes and exclusive insights, [49:53] as well as priority access to AMAs, live events and big interviews. Without me. You can support [49:58] the show that you love most or get the hold on. We know that you watch and listen to all of our shows [50:04] for all sorts of different reasons, and we've made sure there is something here for everybody. [50:08] The Uncensored's mission has always been to inform, educate, irritate, and entertain by giving you [50:13] every side of every story. Real, honest opinions you might not find anywhere else. You may disagree [50:20] with my views. Some of our guests and our hosts do too. But that's the point. We're independent, [50:24] and nobody tells us what to say. If that sounds like you, well, join the club.
