[2:49] Good afternoon, everybody. Welcome back in to RSPN Live. I'm Matthew Alvarez. We know at three [2:53] o'clock, the president will participate in that small business summit inside the East Room of [2:59] the White House. And speaking of the commander in chief, let's go to his most recent press [3:04] conference on the tarmac in Florida on Saturday, in case you missed it, for clip number one. [3:09] Hello, everybody. I think we can do this right here instead of at Durrell. We're going to Durrell [3:15] a lot of you traveling with me. Doing very well with regard to just about everything, but doing [3:21] very well with regard to Iran. Again, they want to make a deal. They're decimated. They're having [3:28] a hard time figuring out who their leader is. They don't know who their leader is because their [3:33] leader is God, their leader that their former leader come in. But we'll see. Any questions real [3:40] questions? Which have you worked with? No, I haven't. I haven't. I'm looking at it up here. [3:49] You're looking at it? I'll let you know about it later. But. Mr. President, last night you said [3:53] we might be better off not making a deal with Iran. Well, I wouldn't have to. I didn't say that. I [3:59] said that if we left right now, it would take them 20 years to rebuild. But we're not leaving right now. [4:05] We're going to do it. So nobody has to go back in two years or five years. They told [4:12] me about the concept of the deal. They're going to give me the exact wording. Yeah. [4:16] Mr. President, last night you also said that only like 85 percent of Iran's missile making capabilities has been eliminated. [4:23] Correct. Is that other 15 percent important? Does the United States need to eliminate that? [4:28] Well, I'd like to eliminate it. Yeah, I'd like to. It'd be a start for them to build up again. [4:33] And yeah, I would like to eliminate it. Sir, Mr. President, Mr. President, Mr. President. [4:36] Sir, under what circumstances would you restart military strikes on targets against [4:40] Well, I don't want to say that. I mean, I can't tell that to a reporter if they misbehave, [4:45] if they do something bad. But right now, we'll see. But it's a possibility that could happen, sir. [4:54] Mr. President. Mr. President, in your letter to Congress, [4:57] you said the hostilities in Iran that started have been terminated. How can you say that, [5:03] the federal blockade is still being militarily enforced? [5:06] Well, it's a very friendly blockade. Nobody's even challenging it. Nobody at all is challenging. [5:10] Just so you understand, many presidents have been involved in things that are very big. [5:17] They never had to go through anything with respect to Congress. They considered it [5:21] to be totally unconstitutional. And the Democrats in Congress that pushed this, [5:26] and probably a couple of Republicans. They're hurting our negotiating ability, [5:31] which is infinite right now. And they shouldn't be doing it. [5:35] It's never happened before. No other president's done it. [5:38] And I'm not going to be the first. Thank you very much. [5:41] Mr. President, do you envision a future where American energy [5:46] companies are operating inside of Iran, much like Venezuela? [5:50] It could be. I'll tell you what, we have a lot of ships coming up to Texas and Louisiana. [5:55] It's a line of ships. You saw the satellite. We have a line of ships, big ones. Two million, [6:02] two million barrels. And they're coming up. I mean, literally hundreds of ships [6:08] are in line to go to Texas. I mean, they're already started. [6:11] But we're selling a lot of, a lot of oil. A lot of oil. [6:15] Mr. President, why is the U.S. removing troops from Germany? Why is the U.S. removing troops [6:21] from Germany? We're going to cut way down. And we're cutting a lot further than 5,000. Thank [6:27] you very much. When is it not enough with Iran? [6:30] All right. So the president on the tarmac in Florida just the other day. And as many know, [6:35] last week, the Royals were in Washington, D.C. for that four-day state visit. Here are some highlights [6:41] from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Long before Americans had a nation or a constitution, [6:47] we first had a culture, a character, and a creed. This land was settled and forged by men, [6:54] women, who bore in their souls the blood and noble spirit of the British. Here on a wild and [7:01] untamed continent, they set loose the ancient English love of liberty and the Great Britain's [7:08] distinctive sense of glory, destiny, and pride. As the direct senator, King George, I know our people [7:16] have fought and fallen together in defense of the values we cherish across the ocean. And from coast [7:24] to coast, we have traded, innovated, and created together. We've stood together through the best [7:31] and worst and worst of times. The story of Britain and America is one of reconciliation from adversaries [7:40] to the closest of allies. The American founding was the culmination of hundreds of years of thought, [7:48] struggle, sweat, blood, and sacrifice on both sides of the Atlantic. American patriots today can sing, [7:56] my country, tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, only because our colonial ancestors first sang, [8:06] God save the king. On the eve of our 250th year of cherished independence, we turn to the sovereign [8:15] embodiment of our British heritage and say sincerely thank you to our friends, the United Kingdom, for the richest [8:22] inheritance that any nation has ever given to another. May our two countries stand together [8:28] forever for liberty, for justice, and for the glory of God. Quite the coverage just last week here on [8:38] Right Side Broadcasting Network as we continue on this Monday, May 4th, and we'll get into some of the [8:45] May 4th, May the 4th be with you information in just a little bit for those of you that love Star Wars [8:50] out there. But switching gears now, as millions of Americans are praying for the recovery of the [8:56] real mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani. Over the weekend, President Trump told the world that the [9:02] mayor is in critical condition at the hospital, saying, quote, our fabulous Rudy Giuliani, a true [9:08] warrior and the best mayor in the history of New York City by far, has been hospitalized and is in [9:14] critical condition. What a tragedy that he was treated so badly by the radical left lunatics, [9:20] Democrats all, and he was right about everything. They cheated on the elections, fabricated hundreds [9:27] of stories, did anything possible to destroy our nation, and now look at Rudy. So sad, President [9:33] Donald J. Trump. Now, at about 11 Eastern time this morning, I received a text from the mayor's staff [9:40] who said things are, quote, looking good, which is great news. We can keep you updated as we learn [9:46] more about the mayor's critical but stable condition. All this as Rudy Giuliani, of course, [9:52] is America's mayor. What we have right now in New York City, nothing to compare. Let's go now to East [10:00] Palestine, Ohio, because soon after that train derailment happened, Rudy Giuliani stopped by to [10:05] check on to check on the situation and the people there. So these are the shirts that I designed. Um, [10:14] as you can see, there's a big black flume over everything. It says I'm fine, we're fine, everything's [10:20] fine. I wanted to incorporate, uh, you know, the I'm fine, we're fine, everything's fine when in reality, [10:30] it's not fine here. Um, people's mental health, uh, you know, we have 72-year-old men on the ground [10:37] break it down crying because this is where they've spent the past decades of their life working day [10:44] in, day out, um, providing a safe home for their, you know, for their families. Um, and it's all been [10:52] stripped from them. They need the extra help. So whatever little bit that we are able to provide [10:57] for them out there and here is what our goal is. We are making the shirts that will eventually hit the [11:05] shelves at Tom's Tires, uh, Classic Express and what we're shipping out to people all over the nation. [11:12] I have much respect for Rudy. Um, you know, he didn't just take the, the, the hoodie that was [11:19] handed to him and, you know, he handed off to, to one of his bystanders. He actually comforted, [11:27] you know, held that hoodie in his arms and having somebody like that actually care kind of brings, [11:35] brings light that, you know, these agencies are going to have to keep coming to help these people [11:41] out. Basically, this is something that we're being told by not only toxicologists, but hydrologists, [11:46] you know, that this is not going away anytime soon. This is definitely something that these [11:52] residents will be living with for the rest of our lives. The revenue, the profits, and we go to our [12:03] local stores and buy things such as napkins, paper plates, silverware. I have, you know, just a small [12:13] little printing shop in my basement. It's the least I could do to help, help bring something positive [12:19] back into the community. That was all back in 2023 in East Palestine, Ohio, when America's Mayor Rudy [12:27] Giuliani stopped by to say hello to the Ohioans there in the eastern part of Ohio. Of course, that train [12:34] derailment. What a story that was under the Biden regime. Meantime, before we move on, let's go to [12:39] a few of our sponsors here on right side, including mypillow.com slash rsbn. As you see there, you can [12:44] save up to 80% on the warehouse moving sale. A ton of great products, as many of you know, because a lot [12:51] of you, I believe, have these products. We've met a lot of people out there over the years in various [12:56] rallies and events. And I remember covering a rally in Texas, and we interviewed Mike Lindell. And [13:02] after interviewing Mike, he goes down and talks to all the people. Everybody's yelling his name [13:07] and want to take pictures with him. I remember one guy saying, I love the, I love the bedsheets, [13:11] or I love the towels and all that. So we know a lot of people have these products. And if you want [13:16] to get a few new ones, or maybe you've never tried anything with my pillow, give it a shot. [13:19] Mypillow.com slash rsbn. Also, if you'd like to donate to right side, all you have to do is go to [13:23] rsbnetwork.com slash donate to help rsbnetwork.com slash donate as we grow as we expand as we cover [13:32] conservative news here in at least news that is from the conservative perspective, we'll still [13:37] report on what's going on out there. But we're definitely on the right side of history. And just [13:41] like many of you watching, and hopefully everybody watching is here at right side. So rsbnetwork.com [13:47] slash donate. Coming up, we'll be to talk, we're gonna talk more about the great America's [13:53] mayor, Rudy Giuliani, again, in critical but stable condition at last check, that per his comms team, [14:00] his PR people. So we'll see as the hopeful progression gets to a better condition there [14:08] for Rudy Giuliani. Meantime, in international news, President Trump announced the military will begin [14:14] Project Freedom. This is the guide stranded commercial ships out of the Strait of Hormuz, [14:19] calling it a humanitarian effort. We may have clip number nine in there. This is a Trump on Truth [14:25] Social post. He said, quote, Iran has taken some shots at unrelated nations with respect to the ship [14:31] movement, Project Freedom, including a South Korean cargo ship. Perhaps it's time for South Korea to come [14:37] and join the mission. We've shot down seven small boats, or as they like to call them, fast boats. [14:43] It's all they have left. Other than the South Korean ship, there has been at this moment no [14:48] damage going through the Strait. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of [14:53] Staff Dan Cain will have a news conference tomorrow morning. Thank you for your attention to this [14:58] matter, President Donald J. Trump. And most likely we'll be hearing about that news conference happening [15:04] at 8 a.m. Eastern, usually the time that it has, at least in the prior Operation Epic Fury, [15:10] press conferences. Plus, there was a Hantavirus outbreak on a cruise ship in the South Atlantic. [15:18] We're told at least three passengers have died. According to Grok, the Hantavirus refers to that [15:23] family of viruses carried primarily by rodents that can cause serious, sometimes fatal diseases in humans. [15:30] Researchers say the virus is more predominant in Asian and European countries. Also, two U.S. [15:36] service members are missing during a military exercise in Morocco. Reached out to our contacts [15:43] there at the Pentagon for the latest on the situation there. Once we hear back, we can report [15:46] to you. Topping our headlines in the nation's capital, really one, outside of, of course, [15:53] the President and today's events and all the things that are happening at the White House, [15:57] but on Capitol Hill. The Save America Act, as far as I see it, has been stalled in the U.S. Senate. [16:05] I don't see much talk about it. Hopefully they will. We'll cover it if they do. All they do is pass [16:11] it and get President Trump to sign it and that it will become law in the United States of America. [16:18] Meantime, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth not only has defended our country as a member of the military, [16:23] he also had to defend his faith on Capitol Hill recently. Let's go to clip number five. [16:29] Tense interest in Christianity, in nationalism, and in not recognizing the talents of women and [16:42] non-white gentlemen, and that's the wrong direction. I don't know what you're insinuating, [16:49] Senator, but I am not ashamed of my faith in Jesus Christ. Well, you shouldn't be ashamed. [16:54] And if you want to shame me for it, go ahead. Yeah, Mr. Reid, hello. Sometimes I sneeze and [17:02] answer just as a joke sometimes. I won't do it the best on camera right now, but [17:06] woke mind virus. Excuse me. Oh, man. I mean, Mr. Reid, come on, buddy. Just let him go. It's his [17:12] faith. You know what I mean? On a much lighter note this afternoon, as we await the president, [17:17] if there are a couple things Americans really love, it's freedom and their furry friends. I [17:22] received a text this morning from a friend of the family saying that her lab named Freedom is turning [17:28] 12 today. So we'll look at some photos of Freedom as a pup. And now 12 years later, Freedom is a great [17:36] pup that his dad, also his dad was a chief master sergeant in the military. I believe we have those [17:41] photos, guys. No, there we go. There's there's Freedom. This was when he was just a pup. And [17:48] then now if we look at him when he was 12 years old, that's today. And his name's Freedom. Awesome [17:53] stuff. Again, his mom is a great person and a patriot up there in Pennsylvania. So and if you're [17:58] watching, thanks so much for sending this photo to me this morning. America, patriotism, dogs, [18:05] it's all good stuff, right? We love it here at Right Side Broadcasting Network. So maybe actually [18:09] feedback at rsbn.tv. If you want to send in some of your patriotic pups out there, maybe we'll put [18:15] them on the network as we're covering a lot of news out there, including the critical but stable [18:21] condition for Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. So we're going to keep our eyes on that story as well. And to talk [18:28] about New York City some more, let's go to the Staten Island Republican, Young Republican Club [18:32] president. Robert Burkhead joins us right now. Robert, thanks so much for joining us here on Right Side. [18:43] Doesn't look like we have audio there as it's 147 Monday, May 4. So let's go back to some more [18:49] programming here. Why don't we do this? Let's take a quick commercial break. We'll get all the [18:52] technical stuff going. We'll be right back here on Right Side. Welcome to Right Side Broadcasting [19:00] Network, your trusted conservative news outlet. It's Silk from Diamond and Silk Chit Chat Live. Look, don't forget to watch my show right [19:56] here at Right Side Broadcasting Network, and I want you to support Right Side Broadcasting Network. [20:04] It's imperative that you do so, okay? Bye-bye. All right. Welcome back to Right Side Broadcasting [20:29] Network. Let's go to New York. New York right now. Robert Burkhead, the President of the Staten [20:34] Island Young Republican Club. Thanks again for joining us, Robert. Thank you for having me. [20:39] Definitely. Let's talk about the, I don't know, the fake mayor or the mayor that isn't getting the [20:45] respect that, you know, Mayor Rudolph Giuliani received in New York. Let's talk about Mamdani. [20:49] How's it going in New York right now? It's awful. Every day he's proposing some socialist [20:56] agenda that just made all these promises to his constituents. Spend, spend, spend free busing programs. [21:04] He announced the other day they're going to spend $39 million on a [21:08] state-run, city-run grocery store that's not going to be ready until I think his tenure is over. [21:15] It's just unbelievable what this gentleman is proposing compared to a Rudolph Giuliani, [21:21] who led us in unprecedented times during 9-11. 50% reduction in crime, booming economy, [21:28] kept the city safe. I mean, it's night and day compared to these two individuals. Can't even compare it. [21:33] Exactly. I mean, Mayor Rudy, he was all about and is all about law and order. And yeah, going through [21:40] what New York went through, what the country went through, and in some cases the world went through [21:44] with that attack on 9-11. When we talk about Mamdani though, wasn't it the other day that he was saying [21:50] that he needs a bailout from Kathy Hochul in the state? I thought he had all the money to take care [21:55] of everything. Ball's promises, fake agenda. He was all about click baits. And he continues to [22:05] do these videos on a daily basis, which nobody wants to see anymore. People want you to govern. [22:10] People want safe streets, low taxes, affordability. That's all he promised, affordability. All he's done [22:16] has raised the price of affordability. And of course they blame everybody else. And now he's coming and [22:22] asking the state, blaming the state for their shortcomings, which they haven't passed the budget [22:28] yet. Again, democratic controlled majority over the state government and city government. It just goes [22:36] to show you they're incompetent. And he certainly forgets about Staten Island. He really botched us [22:43] with the snowstorms, garbage pickups after the snowstorms. He left us out of a 2K program when [22:51] he initially announced for children new universal programs to help parents have after school and [22:59] programs for the kids in school. He left Staten Island completely out of it. And so yeah, it's just [23:03] more empty promises. And I think people are really starting to have buyer's remorse. [23:09] I would think so. I mean, you're looking at higher crime, higher illegal drug usage, [23:14] all the things that you're seeing out there. And on top of that, you have somebody that is not for [23:19] free markets, capitalism, conservatism, God, family, country from the perspective of the majority of [23:24] this nation. So, but Staten Island, and of course there are patriots throughout all five boroughs of [23:31] New York. But man, it must be difficult. And to your point about the mayor, Rudy Giuliani, [23:37] as President Trump said, in critical but stable condition right now in the hospital, [23:41] your thoughts about that when you first heard about that for America's mayor? [23:46] Oh, your heart sinks. You know, these are great people that serve their country. You know, [23:53] people go into public service, they forget the sacrifices. I know politician could be a bad word. [23:59] You know, this mayor, Mayor Giuliani, specifically on Staten Island, cared about Staten Island back then [24:07] and still cares about Staten Island. Still travels over the bridge for events and to come and visit [24:13] and still hear people's concerns because he cared about all five boroughs. You know, you think about, [24:19] you know, 9-11. I see that vision of the mayor going through down by the towers with all emergency [24:28] services. And, you know, he had his mask on and he refused, very similar to President Trump, [24:33] he refused to give up. He didn't want to be taken to a secure facility. He wanted to be out there with [24:38] the people. And he fought for us. He kept us safe. And thank God we had him during those times. [24:45] Again, 50% reduction in crime under his leadership. He really straightened up New York City. I don't [24:51] think the city was more efficient, cleaner, safe than under Giuliani leadership. And likewise, [24:59] his son has gone on to serve in public. I believe he works for the White House now. And just these [25:05] individuals that give up to serve the country, the city, the state, you have to have admiration for [25:11] them. It's not easy on their family lives, on their personal lives. And he really was a great [25:15] mayor. So we are all in the Staten Island Young Republican Club. We're thinking of him. We are [25:21] praying for him. We've seen reports that there's some bright lights of news coming out. So we hope [25:27] that that's true and we're here for him like he's been there for us. Amen to that. And finally, [25:33] Robert, can we talk about the pride of New York, right? When it comes to, [25:38] you had de Blasio, you had Bloomberg, you have Mamdani now, but Giuliani, of course, [25:42] a bright light in the day. I remember back in 2001, maybe after September 11th into October, [25:50] November, some of the New York Yankee home games and the national anthem and the flags and Giuliani [25:55] being there and all of the things and all that pride of patriotism. So now when you have a Mamdani [26:01] there who is anti-our country, I'm just calling it how it is. He can say whatever he wants. We know [26:06] what he's doing. But how do people, how do the firefighters, how do the policemen, how do the [26:14] sanitary workers, how do teachers, how do nurses and doctors and how do you go on every day being [26:20] like, hey, we are New York, we love our country, but we've got this guy that's way off somehow [26:25] leading this whole city? I mean, how do you stomach that there in New York? [26:30] It's, you know, you look at your children. I look at my children and I say, I want to be better than [26:36] I was yesterday. And no matter what negative forces enter into our lives or try to bring down [26:44] the spirit of what New York City is, we're not going to let it happen. And it's, it's, it's the [26:49] same tenacity. Look, President Trump lost the election, so they say, in 2020. And he came back [26:57] and he did not give up. He was shot at, came back, not give up. We had planes hit our towers, [27:04] knocked down. And here you have the mayor on the ground, breathing all that bad stuff in, [27:08] making sure his city was okay. So it's, it's not easy. But I think sometimes, you know, going [27:15] through tough times, I think there's always light at the end of the tunnel and darkest times is always [27:20] light at the end. And, you know, I think especially for Staten Islanders, I mean, we have, we've always [27:25] elected officials that represent us that hold our values to be number one. And those, those, [27:34] that's common sense values. And I, and I just think, you know, I think we need to continue [27:40] fighting. We did lose New York Yankee. Great. You mentioned the Yankees, John Sterling today. [27:45] Again, these people were monumental in our lives growing up. They, they were the foundation of our [27:51] city, our boroughs. And so we don't want to let those figures down. We don't want to let Rudy down. [27:58] We don't want to let John Sterling down, the Yankees down, New York down, or the president down. And so [28:02] we're going to continue to fight. We're going to carry on their visions for the country, the city, [28:07] the state. We're going to build our youth. We're going to continue to educate them. You know, [28:11] people go to college to get mind warped in some of these facilities, and then they get a paycheck [28:16] and they say, wow, where's all my money going? Well, now it's going to Mayor Mondami's pet projects [28:22] that make no sense. And so people are starting to wake up and they want their money to work for them, [28:27] their families, and their livelihoods to get better. Government needs to step out of the way, [28:32] and we need to lead the way for the future. So that's, that's how we deal with it every day. [28:35] We're going to continue to fight. Couldn't say it better. That's perfect, [28:38] Robert. And a shout out to those of you maybe watching on Long Island or in upstate New York, [28:42] the Patriots in that empire state. Robert Burkhead, thank you again. The president of the Staten Island [28:48] Young Republican Club. We'll talk to you later. Thank you, sir. Thank you. All right. We're approaching [28:53] that two o'clock hour. Great to speak with Robert there in New York, New York. All right, [28:58] let's go to a few of our sponsors before we continue on here live on Right Side Broadcasting Network, [29:02] including, as you see there, All Family Pharmacy. Specifically, when it comes to health care, [29:07] people are looking for something simple, access, control, and peace of mind. Isn't that a good one [29:12] to have? And right now, that's not always easy to get. You're, you've probably experienced it. Let's also go to Birch Gold Group, and [30:17] you know, it's interesting with Birch Gold Group because a commodity, of course, is gold, [30:24] a limited commodity. They mine it out of the ground, and when it's gone, it's gone. Governments [30:28] can't just print more of it, and that's why everyone from central banks to savvy savers are [30:32] diversifying with gold. Now, for details and a free information kit on diversifying into gold, [30:38] all you have to do is text TRUMP to the number 989898. Birch Gold, of course, can help you convert [30:43] an existing IRA or 401k to a tax-sheltered IRA in physical gold. So that's the information right [30:49] there. We'll be talking a lot more about Birch Gold Group in a little bit and sharing those details [30:55] with you as you text TRUMP to 989898. All right, we're about a couple minutes away from the top of [31:02] the hour there. Let's go to our next live interview here on Right Side Broadcasting Network. We're going [31:07] to go all the way to the great state of Pennsylvania, where Pennsylvania State Senator and military [31:12] veteran Doug Mastriano joins us. Thank you so much, sir, for joining us. Thank you, Matt. [31:16] I agree with your previous guest. You know, I met Rudy Giuliani. Integrity is a good man. Yeah, [31:29] yeah, exactly. And I remember attending one of the events that you were hosting in Pennsylvania, [31:35] and the late great Bernie Carrick was speaking at your event. So the connection of America's Mayor, [31:41] Bernie Carrick, yourself at the time running for governor, you guys are all great patriots. What is it [31:46] like for you when you think of 9-11, when you think of New York City, when you think of Mayor [31:50] Giuliani, Bernie Carrick, and the whole list of people that are on the right side of history? [31:56] Yeah, I mean, we all remember where we were when the planes hit the building at the World Trade [32:00] Center. It was a lot of uncertainty. I was in the Army. I was a major back then. I knew we were going to [32:07] go to war with somebody to figure out who. Then three points of light in that dark came out and was on [32:17] seeing Rudy Giuliani and Bernie Carrick. And the three of them gave a lot of hope to them. The [32:23] leadership that Rudy Giuliani did, he could have been holed up in the emergency center directing [32:30] operations, but he was on the ground inspiring people. You know, anyone who went down there, [32:34] like you mentioned before, you know, they risked their lives. He's a real hero, [32:42] and we're praying for him. Exactly. And can you talk to us more about that with the strong leadership, [32:48] to your point, Donald Trump, the mogul, of course, the real estate mogul. And obviously, [32:54] everybody knows who he is. It goes down there, Bernie Carrick and Rudy Giuliani. In those times [33:00] that are horrible, you have to have somebody that has it all together. And let's talk about that [33:06] moving forward for our country as well. Yeah, you know, modern times, Matthew, we just don't see [33:11] that kind of leadership. And we saw what kind of men the three of them were. Rudy Giuliani, you know, [33:26] bringing order out of the chaos, the relief and the efforts here. Just an amazing person, [33:33] and by his side, you know, by his Bernie Carrick there, you know, actually get the record. [33:38] And that gave us hope. That's the thing you'd expect from a New Yorker, you know, [33:53] running to the building, you know, having a guess that this could end badly. You know, [34:00] many of them lost. I remember, I remember it. And I remember, you know, years later, [34:05] working in New York City and talking to some of the various photographers, camera people, [34:09] which is what it was like there. To your point about the mayor, I remember, let's go to 2020. I mean, [34:16] I know he was having that press conference talking about the election. I know that you were on this [34:20] network a whole ton back in the day. So let's look at it from the election perspective. What was it [34:24] like to see the mayor on the right side of history, calling it out as to what it was, a rigged election? [34:31] So we had the hearing set up in a hotel in Gettysburg. You know, I had the option. No, [34:38] I wanted Gettysburg moment. You know, and when he walked in the room, it just, people broke out in [34:50] the floor. He symbolized so much. He was a giant. He was the mayor of a reason. And the voice of [35:01] courage, we know the media and the left came down, hutch and deniers. And, you know, the irony was, [35:10] in Gettysburg, we were, and Rudy Giuliani was presenting the facts as we had it at that time. [35:21] You know, when you have people from across the stage, you know, asking us to look into this, [35:27] you are, you're compelled that you can't, you're elected by it. And then Rudy Giuliani, [35:33] you know, stand up in the face of overwhelming press opposition to him, you know, the mass [35:40] media turning against him and still he stood strong. I admire him. Exactly. America's mayor. [35:47] And right now he's in critical, but stable condition in the hospital. So we're just monitoring that. [35:53] Senator Mastriano, thanks again for joining us. Before I let you go, can we talk about [35:58] Pennsylvania quickly? What are some of the things Pennsylvanians, the 12 million [36:02] people there? I know a lot of the state's red and a lot of people are on the right side of history, [36:07] but what's going on there specifically in the Commonwealth? [36:10] You know, there's several issues here, but right now, of course, gas prices because of the war, [36:15] but it's still lower than it was under Joe Biden. I'm demanding that the government, if we suspend [36:26] that, let's say for a hundred days to get us through this crisis in the Middle East, that would take 58 [36:32] cents off every gallon. So every time you go to the pump, if you have a truck or SUV, you're going to save [36:36] 10 bucks. It's not a drop in the bucket. You have multiple families, you know, over a month, [36:42] maybe you'll save a hundred bucks or something. I don't know. But we're demanding the governor [36:45] do something about it and then stop running around jet setting on his book tours and, you know, [36:49] flying state assets around for dubious, if not campaign events. And we just want action. We're [36:55] tired of the politics and the talk. You know, politicians and talk. Governor Shapiro, [36:59] that's all he does. A lot of talk. Exactly. And then finally, you might have to fill me in on this [37:05] story a little bit more. But is there a story where he did he buy a fence or a wall and then [37:12] from somebody and then can you tell us about that? So he had the market. There's a lot of [37:18] questionable things, 700,000 feet or fence. The mares made ridiculous nature of it. He wanted to put [37:34] the fence on his neighbor's property. He used the state police just to intimidate the mocks. That's [37:39] their last name. And the mocks are suing him for, you know, trying to grab their land, [37:44] the property here. I just, just the entitlement. You know, when I ran for governor in 2022, [37:49] the state police came to my house. They did a security survey. They gave me a report of what [37:54] we needed to look at from a security perspective. And they told me any renovations to my private [37:58] residence, you know, we'd have to, you'd have to come and come. Josh Shapiro gets, you know, [38:04] almost up to $2 million in total renovating his to including, including greenery. You know, [38:13] no, you landscape your own property. Can you imagine this guy? He's got ambitions. Could you imagine [38:19] the abuse of power and the corruption that he ever made president? You have no way. [38:23] Yeah. No, I mean, I agree with you, especially if you're taking over somebody else's property, [38:26] using, is it taxpayer dollars? Yeah. [38:29] Yeah. Okay. So they're using 2 million. Okay. I get all that. And then on top of that, [38:32] isn't it interesting? Most Democrats are against walls and protection, but exactly. But, but I am [38:40] wondering though, just to play on the other side, just for a second, not in the sense, [38:43] I'm a Democrat at all. Trust me, but I do love truth. And so the fence though, because of what [38:49] happened to his house probably in Harrisburg, right? Do you think, is this a, is he saying [38:53] it's because of security or is this just out there in the, in a rural area? And he's just like, [38:58] I'm just going to do this because I can put a bank. This is not the case with job. Don't get [39:21] it. He's already wealthy, grew up well. And yet he's the money for so much out. So they went to the [39:55] left baby and the money and then come. Well, that's some, some news right there. I mean, I, [40:43] obviously we have, we have a nation to cover here at right side, but specifically that story, [40:47] that money from Reed Hoffman. Wow. That is a, now I can understand. And on top of that, [40:52] the fact that the fence is going to go in somebody else's yard, it's like, come on, [40:54] this is my property. What are you doing here, man? That's quite the story there. Doug Mastriano, [40:59] the state Senator there. Thank you again for your service to our country. Thank you for being a true [41:03] patriot. We love you, man. Thank you so much. Love you back. Take care, bro. Thanks man. Yeah. Great, [41:09] great person there. And of course, remember the state Senator on right side broadcasting, [41:13] network a lot back in 2020, man, it was a lot of coverage. You remember those days, [41:18] but we are six years later and here we are Monday, May 4th. Let's go to a few of our sponsors [41:24] here on right side, including couch.com slash RSBN. You can use the QR code. If you'd like, [41:29] you can download the app. If you'd like also, you can go to couch.com slash RSBN a ton of trending [41:35] political topics that people are betting or trading, or just checking out the polls on, [41:40] but there's more than politics. There's general news, there's weather, there's sports, [41:45] science, technology, music, movies, all the things. So all you have to do is go to couch.com, [41:49] check it out. Makes me think about actually, I'm sure the Kentucky Derby, there's plenty of stuff going [41:54] on with Calci. I don't know if you saw the video of the, is it called Golden Tempo? I don't remember [42:00] the name of the horse that won. I didn't get to get to watch it. I was preoccupied with other things, but [42:04] the reaction of the owner of that horse, I don't know if you saw that. If you get a chance, [42:09] watch how she reacts while that horse wins that race. Anyway, couch.com. Let's go to our next [42:15] sponsor here on right side broadcasting network. As you see there, Cove Pier. You've heard us [42:19] talk about Cove Pier before, and if those water scares in Flint, Michigan, and East Palestine, [42:25] Ohio weren't enough to get you to make the switch, well, this might. More than 176 million Americans are [42:31] drinking top water with PFAs in it. They're the manmade chemicals used in food packaging, [42:36] nonstick cookware, firefighting foam. Scientists call them forever chemicals because once they're [42:42] in your body, they stay there. They don't break down and they're linked to hormone disruption, [42:46] immune damage, and increased cancer risk. But here's the part that's making a number of people [42:51] upset because the EPA, they set legal limits for PFAs and drinking water back in 2024, but water systems [42:57] have until 2031 to comply. So that's a whole five years from now. Until that deadline arrives, [43:03] a utility can be operating above the legal limit right now, and they're not required to notify you, [43:08] so you're just drinking that water. And that's why every single household needs this product here, [43:13] Cove Pier, because the government knows these chemicals are harmful enough to regulate, [43:17] they're just not making anyone act on it yet. Which means if you want clean, healthy water, [43:21] you're going to have to do it yourself. Cove Pier was engineered exactly for this. Unlike the normal [43:27] pitcher filters that you see at the store, their ClearWave reverse osmosis technology, [43:31] it's actually certified to remove up to 99.9% of contaminants, the PFAs, the heavy metals, [43:37] the fluoride. How about the pharmaceuticals in the water? This thing filters particles hundreds of [43:44] hundreds of times smaller, and actually hundreds of thousands of times smaller than a single human hair. [43:51] The best part about Cove Pier is they make this thing so easy it sits right on your countertop, [43:55] so you don't have to drill any holes or call someone in to install it, you just plug it in. [43:58] You can even get whatever temperature of water you want, hot, cold, or warm with the top of a button. [44:03] So don't wait until 2031, take control of your water quality right now, head to covepier.com [44:09] and because you're a viewer of this network, you'll get $250 off right now, that's covepier.com [44:14] slash rsbn. All right, it's 2-12, Monday, May 4th, getting ready to see the president in a little bit. [44:21] This is going to be a roundtable about small businesses across the country. [45:33] Hey y'all, it's Syl from Diamond and Soap Chit Chat Live. Look, don't forget to watch my show right [45:41] here at Right Side Broadcasting Network, and I want you to support Right Side Broadcasting Network. [45:48] It's imperative that you do so, okay? Bye-bye. [45:52] Welcome back to Right Side Broadcasting Network. Let's go to Arlington, Virginia, [46:18] as there was a Pentagon ceremony this morning hosted by Secretary of War Pete Hegsath. [46:23] Governor, thank you. General, from one major to two majors, it's great to see you both. Senator, [46:31] thank you, Mr. Chairman. Up and down, up and down the line here, I just see great Americans. General, [46:38] what an honor it truly is. I'm privileged to be standing up here looking out at this great audience, [46:43] at this room full of great Americans and other great Americans joining us this morning. [46:48] These heroes before us today, Major Ryan Reynolds and Major Edwin Stanfield, are part of a story [46:56] that's as old as the scriptures, and I'll get there in a moment. But first, I look out and we see [47:03] Eva Lee. We are with you today. We are praying for you. We are praying for your daughter, Sarah, [47:10] what she gave for this nation. She is not forgotten. She is not forgotten today. She's not forgotten any day. [47:16] And it is her memory that stiffens our resolve each and every day. So thank you for being here. [47:23] Thank you for, from that night to today, the courage you've shown, the strength you've shown, [47:28] and the support you've shown throughout the force, which means an incredible amount. And then Andy, [47:36] one day I'm looking down at him in a hospital bed. The next day I'm looking up, he's throwing out the [47:39] first pitch. An incredible human being, truly a miracle. Melody, you have a praying mother [47:52] and an incredible father. Melody and Jason, it's good to see you both and your family. [47:58] Just from that bedside and those prayers and prayers and more prayers and more prayers to the [48:03] miracle of today, what an honor it is to see you again, be with you again. So many great things in [48:09] front of you. And again, it's the moments that day that are the reason we're here. [48:17] A wounded American, a lost American, yet the display of heroism. So before I [48:22] continue, I do want to, in memory of specialist Sarah Beckstrom, I'd like to do a moment of silent [48:29] prayer, if you would. Amen. You mentioned a story as old as the scriptures. When the people of Kyla [48:59] were under attack by the Philistine army, their harvest being stolen from them, the people living [49:04] in fear, the Lord said to David, save Kyla. David and his men were wary and he asked the Lord what [49:12] he should do. And the Lord said, arise and I will hand the Philistines to you. So David and his men [49:20] answered the call and they went. They fought the Philistines, wounded and killed them and saved the [49:28] people of Kyla. These heroes before us today, they're also part of the story that played out on [49:36] our rugged frontier. When the citizens of Dodge City, Kansas, were being terrorized, pillaged and shot [49:43] by marauders, a tough 30-year-old frontier marshal named Earp answered the call. He chased the attackers [49:51] out of town and during a midnight pursuit across the Arkansas River, downed the ringleader. There's a line [49:58] about those days in the West that says, you cannot submit to evil without allowing evil to grow. Each [50:06] time the good are defeated or each time they yield, they only cause the forces of evil to grow stronger. [50:16] These heroes before us today, they're part of the story that unfolded 47 years ago in a place called [50:23] Tehran. The 52 American hostages taken by Iranian terrorists for 444 days. When their captors demanded [50:32] they denounce America, they refused. In defiance, one American wrote on the wall of his cell, [50:41] long live the red, white and blue. And so the two heroes before us today, their particular story [50:50] culminates on the corner of 17th and I streets in our nation's capital. A city that when the guardsmen [50:56] were deployed wasn't so different from that place in the Old Testament or the American frontier or Tehran. [51:03] Lawless streets racked by gangs and bloodthirsty criminals. These guardsmen then and today made our [51:12] capital safe. So on a tranquil day, the day before Thanksgiving, there stood these two Americans, four, [51:21] but these two here guarding our nation. After service in the Middle East, Afghanistan and on the border with [51:29] Mexico, their dedication to and love for this country brought them here to this city, our nation's [51:36] capital to protect American citizens. It was a criminal alien terrorist bent on murder and destruction [51:45] that had journeyed to our capital. He raised a stolen gun against our National Guardsmen. A brave soldier [51:55] and a brave airman, both born in Maryland but forged, as was mentioned. I think there's a lot of West [52:01] Virginia in there. Forged in West Virginia, they pushed forward. They neutralized the threat. They moved [52:09] civilians to safety. So you see, these heroes are part of humanity's oldest story. Good versus evil, courage [52:22] versus cowardice, fight versus flight. They chose good that day. And we know what side this soldier [52:33] and airman are on the side of the United States of America, the red, white, and blue. Major Reynolds [52:40] and Stanfield, you are the essence of what General Patton called, quote, the real hero, the warrior who never [52:48] lets his fear of death overpower his honor, his sense of duty to his country, and his innate manhood. [52:58] Congratulations. Thank you for your courage that day. Thank you for your service to this nation. Thank [53:05] you for the example that it sets to the country and to the world, when in that moment you could have [53:11] made a number of different choices. I watched the tape. Everybody else watched the tape. An impossible [53:15] situation, almost unforeseen, unfolding in a matter of seconds. Yes, there's training. Yes, [53:21] there's instinct. There's a lot of things. But ultimately, there's a choice. And you chose action. [53:27] You chose courage over fear. You chose to put your body at risk on behalf of other human beings, [53:35] on behalf of their families, on behalf of the rest of your unit. That is a choice we need to celebrate. [53:40] That is an action we need to honor. That's why today we want to recognize you before the nation [53:47] and ensure the nation understood that these are the types of Americans we should be celebrating. [53:52] And emulating the types of people we want. I want my kids looking up to and knowing your name, [53:58] not the names of celebrities or TV hosts, but the names of heroes, the names of men who put it all [54:06] on the line when it mattered the most. And so we thank God for you. We thank God for the lives you [54:11] saved. We thank God for the lives you protected. And we thank God for your lives and all that God weaved [54:17] into your life to bring you to that moment, writing a more beautiful story than we could have ever conceived of. [54:22] So God bless you. And how about we pin some medals on these guys? Thank you. [54:28] Would Major Reynolds and Major Stanfield please join Secretary Hegseth on stage? [54:53] Major Reynolds, please step forward. The President of the United States of America, [55:00] authorized by Act of Congress, 2 July 1926, has awarded the Soldiers' Medal to Major Ryan S. Reynolds, [55:09] West Virginia National Guard. For heroism, not involving actual conflict with an enemy, [55:15] on 26 November 2025, during a targeted shooting attack on National Guard personnel in Washington, D.C., [55:24] Major Ryan Reynolds advanced towards active gunfire to assist wounded service members. [55:29] Without regard for personal safety, he subdued the attacker, allowing first responders to render [55:35] life-saving aid, protect civilians, and assist responding law enforcement personnel while under [55:40] threat of his life. Major Reynolds' courageous actions directly contributed to saving lives [55:46] and preventing additional casualties. His heroism is in keeping with the finest traditions of military [55:52] service and reflects great credit upon himself, the West Virginia National Guard, and the United States [55:58] Army. Major Stanfield, please step forward. Citation to accompany the award of the Airmen's Medal to [56:37] Edwin O. Stanfield. Major Edwin O. Stanfield distinguished himself by heroism involving voluntary [56:44] risk of life in Washington, District of Columbia, on 26 November 2025. On that date, Major Stanfield [56:53] responded immediately to an active shooter incident that critically wounded two service members. After an [56:59] armed assailant opened fire on National Guard members conducting routine security operations, Major [57:05] Stanfield advanced towards the gunfire and the known danger area. Demonstrating exceptional composure, [57:11] he assessed the situation, directed civilians to safety, and moved to assist the National Guard [57:17] members who sustained life-threatening injuries. While still exposed to an uncertain and rapidly evolving [57:23] threat, Major Stanfield took actions to subdue the assailant, then worked in concert with local [57:29] law enforcement to secure the scene, maintain casualty care, and ensure the orderly arrival of emergency [57:35] medical services. His leadership, calm execution, an unwavering commitment to securing the scene, [57:42] exemplified selfless service far beyond the normal call of duty. The exemplary heroism displayed by Major [57:49] Stanfield reflects great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force. Thank you, Mr. Secretary. [58:18] Please stand for the benediction delivered by Chaplain Clinton Tompkins. Please pray with me. [58:33] Heavenly Father, as we conclude this ceremony, it is my prayer that the legacy of these two men [58:40] are forever honored. Oh God, it is in times like these, as we honor and recognize these heroic acts, [58:49] that I am reminded of why heroism was warranted. It was warranted due to the evil in this world. We are [58:58] reminded of how far humanity can be from the cross, but still yet how close the cross is to humanity, [59:08] all due to your faithfulness, oh God. Lord, we ask your many blessings upon these men, [59:15] their families, all of our service members, and our great nation. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. [59:26] Quite the event there at the Pentagon. We're going to get back to some more information from the Pentagon on [59:31] on the two missing soldiers or the two missing servicemen out there in Morocco. We'll go to that [59:37] in just a second. Before we do, let's go to a few of our sponsors here on Right Side, including All [59:41] Family Pharmacy. And you know what else is a limited [1:00:59] commodity? Gold. They mine it out of the ground, and when it's gone, it's gone. Governments can't [1:01:05] just print more of it. And that's why everyone from central banks to savvy savers are diversifying [1:01:10] with gold. Now, if you've been thinking about it for years, but still have never moved some of your [1:01:15] savings into physical gold, Birch Gold Group is who we trust to help you. Great sponsors here on Right Side. It's approaching the bottom of the [1:01:57] hour there, 2.30 Eastern time. Let's go over some of the international news headlines that we're [1:02:02] seeing out there. Of course, President Trump announced the military will begin Project Freedom [1:02:06] to guide stranded commercial ships out of the Strait of Hormuz, calling this a humanitarian effort, [1:02:12] of course. President Trump also saying on True Social for Clip 9, Iran has taken some shots at [1:02:19] unrelated nations with respect to the ship movement Project Freedom, including a South Korean cargo [1:02:25] ship. Perhaps it's time for South Korea to come and join the mission. We've shot down seven small [1:02:33] boats, or as they like to call them, fast boats. It's all they have left. Other than the South Korean [1:02:39] ship, there has been, at this moment, no damage going through the strait. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and [1:02:45] Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Kane will have a news conference tomorrow morning. [1:02:49] Thank you for your attention to this matter, President Donald J. Trump. Of course, those [1:02:53] news conferences usually at about 8 a.m. from the Pentagon. Plus, as you may have heard, [1:03:00] there was a Hantavirus outbreak on a cruise ship in South Atlantic. The company based, a Dutch-based [1:03:07] company, were told at least three passengers have died. This is the Hantavirus outbreak that happened [1:03:14] on a cruise ship. So we're monitoring that story. Also, two U.S. service members are missing during [1:03:21] military exercises in Morocco. A Department of War official tells RSBN, [1:03:28] this incident is not related to terrorism. This remains an active search and rescue operation, [1:03:33] and our focus is on locating the missing soldiers. Here are some of the additional details, as I [1:03:38] believe we have a little bit of a map for Morocco. U.S. and Moroccan forces are conducting coordinated [1:03:44] search and rescue operations after two U.S. Army soldiers participating in African Line 2026 were [1:03:50] reported missing on May 2, 2026. The two soldiers were last seen near ocean cliffs in the vicinity, [1:03:58] of the cap-draw training area during scheduled training. When they did not return as expected, [1:04:06] U.S. and Moroccan personnel immediately initiated a joint search effort. Now, initial reports, [1:04:12] this all per the Department of War, reports indicate the two soldiers may have fallen into the ocean. [1:04:18] The multinational search effort includes ground teams, aerial assets, and maritime elements from the [1:04:25] Moroccan Royal Armed Forces, the U.S. Armed Forces, and other African Lion participants. So search and [1:04:31] rescue operations continue there. So again, two U.S. service members missing at this hour off of the [1:04:38] coast of Morocco, it looks like at this point. That from the Department of War. Let's go to a few of [1:04:43] our sponsors in the meantime. Let's go to calsheet.com slash rsbn. A lot of political trending topics on [1:04:49] there. When will the Strait of Hormuz be fully opened? Or finally, the one question that people [1:04:55] were putting money on the line or just checking out the polls, they were saying, when's the DHS [1:04:58] partial government shutdown going to stop? Well, finally it did. So there's a lot of different [1:05:03] questions on there and topics that you can check out from sports to faith to all sorts of stuff. So just go to [1:05:10] the QR code that you see on your screen or calsheet.com slash rsbn. Or you can go ahead and download [1:05:16] the app, CalSheet app on your app store. Let's go to a few of our other sponsors here. CovePure.com [1:05:22] slash rsbn. You've heard us talk about CovePure before and if the water scares in Flint and East [1:05:27] Palestine weren't enough to get you to make the switch, well, this might because more than 176 million [1:05:32] Americans are drinking tap water with PFAs in it. They're the man-made chemicals used in food packaging, [1:05:38] nonstick cookware, firefighting foam. Scientists are saying, hey, these are forever chemicals [1:05:43] because once they're in your body, they stay there. They don't break down and they're linked [1:05:47] to hormone disruption, immune damage, and increased cancer risk. But here's the part that is making a [1:05:53] number of people upset because the EPA doing their part, they set legal limits for PFAs in drinking [1:05:57] water back in 2024, but the water systems across the country have until 2031 to comply. So it's a whole [1:06:04] five years from now. Until that deadline arrives, a utility could be operating above the legal limit [1:06:10] right now and isn't required to notify you. So you're just drinking that tap water. That's why [1:06:15] every single household needs CovePure. The government knows these chemicals are harmful [1:06:20] enough to regulate. They're just not making anyone act on it yet, which means if you want clean, [1:06:24] healthy water, you're going to have to do it yourself. CovePure was engineered exactly for this. [1:06:29] Unlike the normal picture filters that you see at the store, [1:06:31] where CovePure's ClearWave reverse osmosis technology is certified to remove up to 99.9% [1:06:38] of contaminants. So there's PFAs, heavy metals, fluoride, the pharmaceuticals. [1:06:43] This product filters particles hundreds of thousands of times smaller than a single human hair. And the [1:06:48] best part about it, CovePure makes it so easy it sits right on your countertop. You don't have to [1:06:53] drill any holes or call someone in to install it. You just plug it in and you can even get whatever [1:06:57] temperature water you want, hot, cold, or warm with a tap of a button. So don't wait for 2031. [1:07:02] You can take control of your water quality right now. You see it right there on your screen. Head to [1:07:06] covepure.com slash rsbn. And because you're a viewer of a right side broadcasting network, [1:07:11] you get $250 off. All you have to do is go to covepure.com slash rsbn. [1:07:17] All right. Other stories we're tracking here and right side is on Capitol Hill. The Save America [1:07:26] Act, I don't know. It looks like it's stalled at this point, doesn't it? There's not that buzz of [1:07:31] everybody talking about it prior to the April recess. There's a lot of other things going on. [1:07:36] But the Save America Act, that's pretty important. So we'll see what happens there. We're monitoring it [1:07:41] here at right side. All right. Let's go to a number of other things, including just for kicks, [1:07:46] let's go back to clip number six. Again, on a much lighter note for those that have just joined [1:07:52] us as we await the president. Again, if there are a couple of things Americans really love, [1:07:56] it's freedom and it's their furry friends. I received a text this morning from a friend of [1:08:00] the family saying that her lab named Freedom is turning 12 today. Here are the photos of Freedom [1:08:07] as a pup. And now 12 years later, Freedom is a great dog. His dad actually was a chief master [1:08:15] sergeant in the military. His mom, a great person and a patriot. So once again, Ann, I'm glad that [1:08:20] you texted me, you said you were watching. So I just wanted to do this again for you. [1:08:24] Great, great family there in Pennsylvania. Great pup too. And named Freedom. How can you go wrong? [1:08:32] Anyway, let's keep it a little bit light for a second. Today is May 4th. And for the Star Wars fans, [1:08:38] it's all about May the 4th be with you. And I'm a Star Wars fan. And a nod to that great cinematic [1:08:45] franchise. The White House posted this photo of the president wearing more of a Bubba Fett kind [1:08:51] of look. And a post saying, quote, in a galaxy that demands strength, America is ready. This is [1:09:00] the way. May the 4th be with you. Let's go back to that photo there as I knew the director would. [1:09:05] We've got some great talented people here at right side. And it's awesome to see that. That's pretty bad [1:09:10] A if you ask me. And especially if you like Star Wars. So may the 4th be with you as we are monitoring [1:09:16] a lot of news stories that are happening out there, including, I keep watching this story. [1:09:20] I have my phone next to me next to this laptop right here. And I see this story on Breaking 911. [1:09:27] Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont, sounds like a winner, has signed a new bill into law that prohibits [1:09:34] ICE agents from wearing masks for protection and restricts ICE from entering certain areas without [1:09:40] a judicial warrant. Good old Connecticut Governor doing some great work there. What? My oh my, [1:09:49] I've worked in local news back in the day, right? And there are detectives at various crime scenes or [1:09:57] if there are federal agents prior to this whole thing with ICE or NICE, if you remember we might [1:10:04] be calling them National Immigration Customs Enforcement. And we as reporters, journalists, [1:10:09] anchors, whatever, would respect the law enforcement even in most of the local news is fake news in my [1:10:16] opinion. I'm just going to call that too. Just the way it is. Because they're just receiving the same [1:10:21] junk from the leftists that are out there. Not all of them. And not everybody that works at a local [1:10:26] news is on the wrong side of history. But anyway, back to the point. But we'd be out there during some [1:10:32] terrible crime scenes that just took place. And if there was a detective, they would they would kindly [1:10:38] ask the cameras like, hey guys, let's just not get video of that. Even though we have a right to, [1:10:43] we have a First Amendment right to, but sometimes you just use a little bit of wisdom. You don't have [1:10:49] to show everybody that's out there. Detectives need to be not known. Everybody that looks like a [1:10:54] detective, right? And is publicly known. There's a lot of investigations that need to happen. So [1:11:02] anybody that's against ICE wearing masks, ask yourself maybe a question of why? Why not allow people [1:11:11] to go and take care of what they have to when it comes to illegal criminal aliens? You know, [1:11:17] these guys usually go after people that are criminals. And anyway. So Connecticut Governor [1:11:25] Ned Lamont has signed a new bill into law that prohibits ICE agents from wearing masks for protection [1:11:30] and restricts ICE from entering certain areas without judicial warrant. Checking out some other [1:11:37] stories here quick. And yeah, nothing huge when it comes to breaking news at this hour, [1:11:42] as it's 1.40 Central in a minute, 2.40 Eastern time. We do see the Small Business Administrator, [1:11:50] Kelly Loeffler, just posted about 16 minutes ago talking about Happy National Small Business Week. [1:11:56] Of course, this event that you're about to see in just a little bit will be a roundtable all about [1:12:01] small businesses here in America. Again, a shout out to all of the small business owners out there [1:12:06] on the right side of history, especially, you know, the mom and pop shops. Always good to see that, [1:12:11] especially in a lot of the small towns around this great country. All right, let's go to a few of our [1:12:17] sponsors. We'll take a commercial break after that. And then maybe we'll get this Kelly Loeffler [1:12:20] video loaded up for you as we're monitoring the news here at Right Side Broadcasting Network. Let's [1:12:26] go with that first sponsor as we're approaching the top of the hour here. Let's go to All Family Pharmacy. [1:12:31] When it comes to health care, people are looking for something simple access, control, and peace of mind. [1:12:37] And right now, that's not always easy to get. That's why more Americans are turning to All Family Pharmacy. They've built a system [1:12:52] that's simple, safe, and secure. It's simple. [1:13:28] Use that rsbn10 promo code to save that 10% at checkout. Great sponsor here on Right Side. Let's go to [1:13:35] Birch Gold Group. When there are supply constraints on commodities, prices surge. [1:13:42] You saw it with fuel prices when the Strait of Hormuz was blockaded. And you know what else is [1:13:47] a limited commodity? Gold. They mine it out of the ground, and when it's gone, it's gone. Governments [1:13:53] can't just print more of it. I wish we could, right? That'd be cool. And that's why everyone from [1:13:57] central banks to savvy savers are diversifying with gold. And if you've been thinking about it for years, [1:14:02] but have still never moved some of your savings into physical gold, Birch Gold Group is [1:14:07] who we trust to help you. Now through May 29th, Birch Gold is giving first-time gold buyers a rebate [1:14:14] of up to $10,000 on qualifying purchases. So for details and a free information kit on diversifying [1:14:21] into gold, you can text TRUMP to that number you see on your screen, 989898. Birch Gold can help you [1:14:26] convert an existing IRA or 401k into a tax-sheltered IRA in physical gold. Again, text that number [1:14:33] or text that name. TRUMP. President Trump, of course. TRUMP to 989898. And this will be to see [1:14:39] if you qualify for a first-time gold buyer rebate of up to $10,000. Again, TRUMP to 989898. [1:14:47] You know, I was just thinking about the video we were talking about earlier with the Connecticut [1:14:51] Governor, as I'm watching here on Breaking 911 as well. You know, we just monitor a number of [1:14:57] news stories out there. Of course, we have live interviews and live guests. We have somebody [1:15:00] coming on at 3 o'clock Eastern. That will all depend, of course, if the White House has started [1:15:05] their event. We're going to go all the way out to California for that live interview with the mayor [1:15:10] of El Cajon. Apparently, the mayor there of that city has sued the state over a sanctuary law. [1:15:17] So we'll have the Mayor Bill Wells join us. If we're at the White House at that time, [1:15:23] we'll record the interview. We'll air it as soon as we can. When you go back to this story about the [1:15:28] Connecticut Governor, Ned Lamont, has signed a new bill to law that prohibits ICE agents from [1:15:32] wearing masks. That whole story? My dad used to be a detective in law enforcement. If my dad did not [1:15:38] commit a crime, which he didn't, he's working as a law enforcement officer, he's out there, [1:15:44] and he's taking care of business with some sort of criminal, whatever, in the sense of they're [1:15:50] investigating and maybe they're wearing masks. I don't know. He did nothing wrong, right? [1:15:55] That law enforcement did nothing wrong. So why would all the people out there, the agitators, [1:16:01] recording, what's your badge number and name and all that stuff? You have freedom to do it. [1:16:07] But why put that person out on blast all over the freaking social media and have people go after [1:16:17] that person? Why do that? They did nothing wrong. They're enforcing the law. So they're out there doing [1:16:24] that. So detectives, ICE. Now, police officers don't need to do that. Customs Border Protection [1:16:32] usually doesn't when it's just the Border Patrol officers because you're part of the community. [1:16:36] You're helping out. You're doing what you got to do. But when you're investigating, when you're going [1:16:40] and if you have to raid a home, that kind of thing, you know. Anyway, a lot of different thoughts on [1:16:48] that one. I'm sure you guys may have some of those too. But again, the Connecticut governor saying, [1:16:51] hey, you're going to not wear masks in our state. I guess I'm speaking on behalf of those ICE agents [1:16:59] out there. I'm sure if anybody is connected to an ICE agent out there, you're probably saying, [1:17:03] amen. Thank you for saying that. Anyway. All right. 2.45 Eastern time. Let's do this. Let's go to the [1:17:11] top of the broadcast. If you're just joining us, the president spoke to the reporters in Florida [1:17:16] over the weekend on the tarmac. Let's take a look at that. [1:17:18] We can do this right here instead of at Doral. We're going to Doral. A lot of you traveling with me. [1:17:29] Doing very well with regard to just not everything, but doing very well with regard to Iran. Again, [1:17:36] they want to make a deal. They're decimated. They're having a hard time figuring out who their [1:17:41] leader is. They don't know who their leader is, because their leader is gone. The leader that [1:17:46] their former leader come in. But we'll see. Any questions real fast? [1:17:54] Which the new 14. No, I haven't. I haven't. I'm looking at it up here. [1:18:00] You're looking at it. I'll let you know about it later. But [1:18:03] Mr. President, last night you said we might be better off not making a deal with Iran. [1:18:07] Well, I wouldn't have to. I didn't say that. I said that if we left right now, [1:18:12] it would take them 20 years to rebuild. But we're not leaving right now. [1:18:16] We're going to do it so nobody has to go back in two years or five years. [1:18:22] They told me about the concept of the deal. They're going to give me the exact wording there. Yeah. [1:18:27] Mr. President, last night you also said that only like 85 percent of Iran's missile making [1:18:32] capabilities has been eliminated. [1:18:34] Mr. Correct. [1:18:35] Is that other 15 percent important? Does the United States need to eliminate that? [1:18:39] Mr. Well, I'd like to eliminate it. Yeah, I'd like to. [1:18:41] It'd be a start for them to build up again. And yeah, I would like to eliminate it. [1:18:46] Mr. Mr. President, Mr. President, he's the president. [1:18:47] Mr. Sir, under what circumstances would you restart military strikes on target? [1:18:51] Mr. Well, I don't want to say that. I mean, I can't tell that to a reporter. [1:18:54] If they misbehave, if they do something bad. But right now, we'll see. But it's a possibility that [1:19:04] could happen certainly. [1:19:05] Mr. President, Mr. President, in your letter to Congress, [1:19:09] you said the hostilities in Iran that started have been terminated. [1:19:12] How can you say that, given that the naval blockade is still being militarily enforced? [1:19:17] Well, it's a very friendly blockade. Nobody's even challenging it. Nobody at all is challenging. [1:19:21] Just so you understand, many presidents have been involved in things that are very big. [1:19:28] They never had to go through anything with respect to Congress. They considered it [1:19:32] to be totally unconstitutional. And the Democrats in Congress that pushed this, [1:19:38] and probably a couple of Republicans, they're hurting our negotiating ability, [1:19:42] which is infinite right now. And they shouldn't be doing it. It's never happened before. No other [1:19:48] president's done it. And I'm not going to be the first. Thank you very much. [1:19:52] Mr. President, do you envision a future where [1:19:57] American energy companies are operating inside of Iran, much like Venezuela? [1:20:01] It could be. It could be. I'll tell you what, [1:20:03] we have a lot of ships coming up to Texas and Louisiana. It's a line of ships. You saw [1:20:08] it in the satellite. We have a line of ships, big ones, two million barrels, [1:20:15] and they're coming up. I mean, literally hundreds of ships are in line to go to tech. I mean, [1:20:20] they're already started, but we're selling a lot of, uh, a lot of oil, a lot of oil. [1:20:26] Mr. President, why is the U.S. removing troops from Germany? [1:20:30] Why is the U.S. removing troops from Germany? [1:20:34] We're going to cut way down and we're cutting a lot further than 5,000. Thank you very much. [1:20:38] When is enough enough with Iran? [1:20:40] All right. So the president just speaking with the press over the weekend, that was his latest, [1:20:48] so-called press conference. So we'll be hearing from the president here shortly at this round table [1:20:53] for the Small Business Administration, as this is National Small Business Week. So we're looking [1:21:00] forward to more on that here in just a second. We're getting that video ready to go for you from [1:21:04] Kelly Loeffler, the Small Business Administrator. And speaking of the Commander-in-Chief, [1:21:10] we saw, uh, that he has been speaking about a number of things out there. But before we go to [1:21:15] that, let's go to that new clip from the SBA. Hi, I'm Kelly Loeffler. It is my honor to serve as [1:21:21] the 28th administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration. As the member of President Trump's [1:21:27] cabinet who represents our great nation's job creators, welcome to National Small Business Week [1:21:32] 2026. This year is particularly historic as we celebrate our nation's 250th anniversary. That's [1:21:43] 250 years of free enterprise that built the strongest, freest, and most prosperous nation [1:21:49] in the world. American exceptionalism was forged by hardworking founders just like you. Those who build, [1:21:56] innovate, and sacrifice to create generational strength. And today, under the leadership of [1:22:02] President Trump, that legacy continues. Through tax cuts, fair trade, and deregulation, [1:22:08] the Trump administration is proud to support growth, job creation, and opportunity that you [1:22:14] power across main streets, cities, and rural America. At the SBA, we provide the capital, [1:22:21] counseling, and deregulation that is driving the great American comeback. We invite you to take this [1:22:26] week as an opportunity to learn more about the many ways that SBA can help support your journey. [1:22:32] So on behalf of myself and our entire SBA team, happy National Small Business Week. [1:22:38] Thank God for our small businesses as we continue our sponsorships here at Right Side Broadcasting Network. [1:22:46] Because when it comes to health care, a lot of people are looking for something simple. [1:22:51] They specifically access and control and peace of mind. And right now, that's not always easy to get. [1:22:56] You've probably experienced it. Those long wait times, packed waiting rooms, dealing with insurance, [1:23:01] and still not really getting what you need, and when you need it. So that's why more Americans are [1:23:05] turning to All Family Pharmacy. They've built that system that's just simple, safe, and secure. [1:23:12] Simple. You go online, choose what you need, and fill out a short medical form. It's also safe. A [1:23:17] licensed doctor reviews your request and prescribes if appropriate. And, of course, it's secure. Your [1:23:23] information and transactions are protected from start to finish. They offer access to more than 400 [1:23:29] prescription medications, from everyday maintenance medications to antibiotics, antivirals, ivermectin, [1:23:35] mabendazole, NAD+, and more, all shipped directly to your door. No confusion, no delays, just a better [1:23:42] way to get what you need. And you can go right there, right now, allfamilypharmacy.com slash rsbn. [1:23:55] Birch Gold Group, specifically when there are supply constraints on commodities, prices surge. [1:24:02] You see it with the fuel prices when the straight-up hermooze is blocked, and you know what else is a [1:24:07] limited commodity? Gold. They mine it out of the ground, of course, and when it's gone, it's gone. [1:24:11] Governments can't just print more of it. [1:25:02] All right, as many of you know, last week the Royals were in Washington, D.C. for that four-day state visit. [1:25:08] Here are some highlights from the White House. Long before Americans had a nation or a constitution, [1:25:14] we first had a culture, a character, and a creed. This land was settled and forged by men and women [1:25:22] who bore in their souls the blood and noble spirit of the British. Here on a wild and untamed continent, [1:25:30] they set loose the ancient English love of liberty and the Great Britain's distinctive sense of glory, [1:25:37] destiny and pride. As the direct descendant of King George has heard, I know our people have [1:25:43] fought and fallen together in defense of the values we cherish across the ocean. And from coast to coast, [1:25:52] we have traded, innovated, and created together. We've stood together through the best and worst of [1:26:00] time. The story of Britain and America is one of reconciliation from adversaries to the closest of [1:26:08] allies. The American founding was the culmination of hundreds of years of thought, struggle, sweat, [1:26:16] blood, and sacrifice on both sides of the Atlantic. American patriots today can sing [1:26:24] my country tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, only because our colonial ancestors first sang [1:26:34] God save the King. On the eve of our 250th year of cherished independence, we turn to the sovereign [1:26:42] embodiment of our British heritage and say sincerely thank you to our friends, the United Kingdom, [1:26:49] for the richest inheritance that any nation has ever given to another. May our two countries stand [1:26:55] together forever for liberty, for justice, and for the glory of God. Quite the coverage here on Right Side [1:27:05] Broadcasting Network last week. And this, thinking about coverage, coming up on May 14th, so about 10 days [1:27:12] from now, President Trump and the First Lady will be in China to meet with President Xi Jinping there. [1:27:18] So, a lot of coverage for that coming up in about 10 days from now. And of course, all the different [1:27:23] kinds of news that we see out there in that 24-7 news cycle, and also the various live events that we're [1:27:28] about to see at the White House. Again, this is all about small businesses in America, a nice round table [1:27:34] discussion about that. That'll be in the East Room of the White House coming up in just a little bit. [1:27:39] Before we move on with our broadcast, let's go to calshe.com. I haven't checked yet. Let me double [1:27:45] check some of the latest when it comes to what people are putting money online for, and also [1:27:50] checking out the various polls out there. Let's go to politics. Specifically, when will traffic at the [1:27:56] Straight Up Hormuz return to normal? Before September 1st, people are saying 54% are saying that. [1:28:02] Before August 1st, 45% are saying that. Will Elon win his case against OpenAI? [1:28:10] There's also, will the SAVE Act become law? So, a lot of different questions on there that people [1:28:17] are talking about. You can check it out to calshe.com slash rsbn. Let's also go to CovePure. You've [1:28:23] heard us talk about CovePure before, and you know, with that water scare that happened in Flint, Michigan [1:28:28] and East Palestine, if that wasn't enough to get you to make the switch, this might, because more than [1:28:33] half the country, what, well, about 176 million people. There's 347 million people in the country, [1:28:39] but 176 million are still drinking tap water with PFAs in it. They're man-made chemicals used in food [1:28:46] packaging, non-stick cookware, firefighting foam. Scientists call them forever chemicals because [1:28:52] once they're in your body, they stay there. They don't break down, and they're linked to hormone [1:28:56] disruption, immune damage, and increased cancer risk. But this is the part that's making a number of [1:29:02] people upset because the EPA, they did their job. They're setting legal limits for PFAs in drinking [1:29:06] water. They did that back in 2024, but it's the water systems. They have until 2031 to comply, [1:29:12] so it's five whole years from now. Until that deadline arrives, the utility can be operating [1:29:17] above the legal limit right now, and they're not required to notify you, so you're just drinking [1:29:21] that water. That's why every single household needs CovePure. The government knows these chemicals are [1:29:26] harmful enough to regulate. They're just not making anyone act on it yet, which means if you want clean, [1:29:31] healthy water with no tap water aftertaste as well, you're going to have to do this yourself. [1:29:37] CovePure was engineered exactly for this. Unlike the normal pitcher filters you see at the store, [1:29:42] their ClearRave reverse osmosis technology is certified to remove up to 99.9% of contaminants. [1:29:48] So those PFAs, the heavy metals, fluoride, pharmaceuticals, filtering particles hundreds of [1:29:54] thousands of times smaller than a single human hair. And the best part about CovePure, they make it so [1:30:00] easy. It sits right in your countertop. You don't have to drill any holes or call someone in to install [1:30:04] it. You just plug it in. You can even get whatever temperature water you want, hot, cold, or warm, [1:30:08] with a tap of a button. So you don't have to wait until 2031. You can take control of your water [1:30:13] quality right now. Just head to CovePure.com. And because you're a viewer of this broadcast, [1:30:18] you'll get $250 off right now. CovePure.com slash rsbn. Some great sponsors here on Right Side [1:30:26] Broadcasting Network as millions of Americans, millions of us out there are praying for the [1:30:32] recovery of the real mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani. Over the weekend, President Trump told [1:30:38] the world that the mayor is in critical condition at the hospital saying, quote, [1:30:42] Our fabulous Rudy Giuliani, a true warrior and the best mayor in the history of New York City, [1:30:47] by far has been hospitalized and is in critical condition. What a tragedy that he was treated so [1:30:53] badly by the radical left lunatics, Democrats all. And he was right about everything. They cheated on [1:30:59] the elections, fabricated hundreds of stories, did anything possible to destroy our nation, [1:31:03] and now look at Rudy. So sad. President Donald J. Trump. Now, at about 11 this morning, I received a text [1:31:12] as I inquired from his staff on the latest and I heard or specifically read that things are, quote, [1:31:20] looking good, which is great news, of course. We'll keep you updated as we learn more about the mayor's [1:31:26] critical but stable condition. Speaking of the mayor, I believe we have a minute to go there as [1:31:34] it's about three o'clock right now. Let's return to East Palestine, Ohio. For those just joining us, [1:31:39] it was Rudy Giuliani who stepped up as well. I remember interviewing, at the time, Senator J.D. [1:31:45] Vance of Ohio when I traveled to East Palestine. I know President Trump was there, of course, [1:31:51] but here's when Rudy Giuliani showed up too. So these are the shirts that I designed. As you can see, [1:32:00] there's a big black flume over everything. It says, I'm fine, we're fine, everything's fine. [1:32:06] I wanted to incorporate, you know, the I'm fine, we're fine, everything's fine. When in reality, [1:32:15] it's not fine here. People's mental health, you know, we have 72-year-old men on the ground breaking [1:32:22] down crying because this is where they've spent the past decades of their life working day in, day out, [1:32:31] providing a safe home for their, you know, for their families. And it's all been stripped from them. [1:32:38] They need the extra help. So whatever little bit that we are able to provide for them out there [1:32:44] and here is what our goal is. We are making the shirts that will eventually hit the shelves at Tom's [1:32:51] Tires, Classic Express, and what we're shipping out to people all over the nation. I have much respect for [1:32:59] Rudy. You know, he didn't just take the, the, the hoodie that was handed to him and, you know, [1:33:06] he handed off to, to one of his bystanders. He actually comforted, you know, held that hoodie in [1:33:14] his arms and having somebody like that actually care kind of brings, brings light that, you know, [1:33:23] these agencies are going to have to keep coming to help these people out. [1:33:26] Basically, this is something that we're being told by not only toxologists, but hydrologists, [1:33:31] you know, that this is not going away anytime soon. This is definitely something that these [1:33:37] residents will be living with for the rest of our lives. The revenue, the profits, and we go to our [1:33:48] local stores and buy things such as napkins, paper plates, silverware. I have, you know, [1:33:57] just a small little printing shop in my basement. It's the least I could do to help, [1:34:02] help bring something positive back into the communities. [1:34:05] Okay. For those that are just watching, that was from 2023. Remember in East Palestine, [1:34:11] Ohio, that whole train derailment. Well, we were airing that video just now, [1:34:16] speaking about, of course, Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who was one of the great people that went out there to, [1:34:21] to check on the situation, to be there with, with everyone. And then on top of that, [1:34:26] great to see. You remember, you know, the small businesses in America, it's even that [1:34:30] right there. She was, you know, giving these shirts out. And then also, I believe, selling them. The [1:34:34] money was going toward the victims in East Palestine, Ohio, back in 23, with the whole train derailment [1:34:39] under the Biden regime. So again, a shout out to small businesses everywhere. And we'll be watching [1:34:45] the president here with that small business roundtable coming up in just a minute. [1:34:50] Let's go from Washington, DC. We're here in Alabama. The video is just from Ohio. Let's go to [1:34:55] California. Bill Wells is the mayor of Al Capone, California. Mayor, thanks so much for joining us [1:35:01] here on Right Side. Glad to be here. Let's talk about specifically these, [1:35:06] is it a sanctuary law or laws that the city, you guys, have sued the state? Can you fill us in on [1:35:13] what's going on there? Yeah, sure. There's a law in California called SB 54. And it basically says that [1:35:20] no municipality can coordinate or have any conversation with any federal agency in regard [1:35:28] to immigration. So if we arrest somebody, we think they're not here illegally, we're not allowed [1:35:34] to contact ICE. We're not allowed to contact Border Patrol. Vice versa, they're not allowed to communicate [1:35:42] with us. And for example, we got a tip from a federal agency that there were 52 kids that might [1:35:51] be being sexually abused and trafficked in our city. We asked the state, can we go do welfare checks [1:35:59] for those kids? And they said, no, you can't because of SB 54. So that's how far they're willing to go for [1:36:06] this. So that's what we're suing. We're basically suing, saying that California is not following federal [1:36:12] law, and that their law does not supersede the federal law. It's very interesting to see, you know, [1:36:17] a local town or at that local level, joining with the federal level, and then the state is doing [1:36:23] something that's incorrect. I'm sure you'd like to see a Steve Hilton or the Riverside County Sheriff [1:36:31] as governor there in California to hurry up and get things taken care of. We'll get to that in just a [1:36:35] minute. But out in Connecticut, the governor just signed something saying, well, ICE agents aren't [1:36:41] allowed to wear masks. So it seems like coast to coast, of course, you know, we've got these [1:36:45] leftists that are trying to do anti-common sense actions. So where does this lawsuit stand as you [1:36:52] are the mayor of El Cajon, California, against the state of California when it comes to that sanctuary, [1:36:57] that law there? Well, we just filed on a Friday. So we're waiting for our first hearing. What we think [1:37:04] will happen is eventually this will go to the United States Supreme Court because basically what's [1:37:09] happening is every time our cops take the streets, they're violating somebody's law. They're either [1:37:15] violating federal law by aiding and abetting illegal aliens, and that's a federal crime, [1:37:22] or they're violating the state's law by helping the federal government and following the federal [1:37:28] government's law. So we're just asking for a judge to step in and be referee here and say, you know, [1:37:34] you need to follow this law versus this law. And we have every belief that they will choose the federal [1:37:40] government. For those just joining right now, of course, as Bill Wells, the mayor of El Cajon, [1:37:46] California, you were saying that there were about what you said, 52 kids that were being sexually [1:37:52] assaulted by maybe criminal illegal aliens. And you guys wanted to, was it your police force you [1:37:57] wanted to go and tell? Give us a little bit more on that. Fill that out for us. So there are 52 kids that [1:38:05] were possibly being sex trafficked. But that's pretty alarming to me. And so yeah, I wanted to [1:38:12] send the police officers out to check and see if they're okay. Even if we didn't arrest anybody, [1:38:16] which we're not supposed to do, but which I think is ridiculous, but at least get the kids out of harm's [1:38:22] way. But we got a letter from the DOJ saying, no, you can't do that. The California DOJ. So yeah, [1:38:31] that's what, that's what happened in that respect. And that's it. You're doing the common sense thing. [1:38:35] Any everyday Americans thinking, hey, glad you're doing that. How far are you from San Diego? How [1:38:40] far are you from the Mexican border? We're about five miles from the San Diego border and about 12 to [1:38:48] 13 miles from the border, from the border with Mexico. Isn't that wild? I mean, you're very close [1:38:53] there in Southern California. Have you talked to any other mayors in other towns across California or even [1:39:00] across state lines into Arizona? Are they saying, hey, this is a great, [1:39:04] good job. We're going to do the same thing or, or, or a bunch of mayors saying nothing to you [1:39:08] because they're, they're leftists? Well, you know, you got to remember this is California. So there, [1:39:14] there's not, there's not too many of us Republicans left around. There's a few of us. I think [1:39:18] the other Republicans for various reasons are cheering me on behind the scenes. And a lot of these guys [1:39:25] and women, they don't have the council to really back them up. They, they, they, they're so divided [1:39:32] over this, this immigration issue that they don't really, they're not really in a position to stand [1:39:37] up and do what I'm doing. I've got a strong enough council that I can do this. I'm popular enough [1:39:42] in my city that I'm not worried about being thrown out of office. I, I won the last election with 76% [1:39:49] of the vote and the election before that with 84% of the vote. So I think I'm pretty safe in doing this. [1:39:54] And it just became apparent to me that it was really my job to, to be the one to file the [1:39:59] lawsuit. That's awesome. I'm glad you did it personally. I'm glad you did it professionally. [1:40:03] And I'm, I think we, the people are behind you to do something like that. Also, I'd like to get a [1:40:09] way in on the gubernatorial race. You may not, might not want to, but let's give it a shot. Right. [1:40:15] So we have Chad Bianco, the Riverside County Sheriff. We have Steve Hilton, of course, [1:40:19] a lot of president Trump have endorsed Steve Hilton. So your thoughts about the gubernatorial [1:40:26] race and the fact first that a Republican may be governor in California. And then second, [1:40:30] maybe your thoughts about the two candidates. First off, I like them both. I think they're [1:40:35] both great guys. I know them both. And I can't say anything bad about either one. The fact that [1:40:42] President Trump endorsed Steve is a pretty significant factor in my book, because if you [1:40:49] look at the last elections, I don't remember the number, but I think it was 28 out of the 29 people [1:40:55] that President Trump endorsed actually crossed the finish line and won. I think that's a pretty, [1:41:00] pretty significant, even in California, you know, people think that we're entirely leftist here. [1:41:06] And that's just not true. There's still about 42% Republicans in California. It's not enough [1:41:12] to win enough of the offices to make a difference. But if a Republican is going to win, I think that [1:41:20] most likely the endorsement for the president is going to go a long way in that. So that's my [1:41:25] thoughts on that. Yeah. And that's coming up. I believe that primary is coming up. And of course, [1:41:30] November 3rd will be, you know, the day we'll see what happens there in California. [1:41:35] Also, we have the Small Business Administration holding this roundtable at the White House, [1:41:42] the president, of course, a part of that. The small businesses just in your area there, [1:41:47] not too far from San Diego, how important are they to your guys' economy? [1:41:52] Oh, yeah. It's everything. I own a business. Without small businesses, we don't survive. So, [1:42:00] I'm very much in favor of anything we can do to strengthen their position in the economy. [1:42:06] Exactly. And you know, the everyday American like myself, like you, where we just, [1:42:10] we like to go and check out a small town and try the local food or the eateries, [1:42:16] that kind of thing. And it's always something that is just a special part of America, isn't it? [1:42:22] You know, small businesses across this country. Oh, absolutely. When I was very young, in my 20s, [1:42:29] I was a musician. And part of that life of the musician is going to almost every town you can [1:42:35] imagine. And I just love the character of the small towns. Small towns are really what make up America. [1:42:42] I think the big cities distort who America really is. That's a great point. I remember doing some [1:42:47] research on that. And yeah, there are obviously a ton of small towns across this land. And great to [1:42:54] have a number of people that watch this network, whether they're from a small town, medium-sized, [1:42:58] or large-sized city. Finally, San Diego, right there next to you. You know, I've been to San Diego [1:43:05] a few times. Not sure if you've been there recently, but what's it like right now when it comes to [1:43:10] the homeless situation? And also, have you seen an influx there when it comes to illegal immigrants, [1:43:18] that kind of thing? Well, remember, the San Diego region was, up until President Trump took office, [1:43:25] was getting between 2,000 to 3,000 people a day, not just coming across legally, but actually [1:43:33] being given permission to come across illegally. On top of that, we had a lot more people coming in [1:43:41] that were just crossing the fence and sneaking in. So yeah, there's no way you can have an influx of [1:43:46] people like that and not affect your hospital systems, not affect your school systems, not affect [1:43:51] your social welfare systems, not affect the community colleges and the general colleges. [1:43:57] It affects every aspect of life. And we have seen a massive amount of people [1:44:03] come onto the streets. Even in the last two years, we've seen great surges in the people that are [1:44:08] homeless. And frankly, I'm a doctor of psychology. I used to work with the homeless people all the time [1:44:15] in the emergency room. And for a long time, I thought it was just people being stupid about [1:44:21] homelessness and not understanding that dynamics. But over the years, I've come to believe that the [1:44:27] other side completely understands the dynamics of homelessness. And it's just a great business model. [1:44:34] We've got about $40 billion spent on homelessness in the past decade, and it's not getting 1% better. [1:44:40] And that's because I think people are very much enjoying the amount of money that's coming in and [1:44:46] spending it on their friends through their NGOs, who are then in turn giving it back to left-wing [1:44:50] politicians, which give a permanent ruling class over the state of California into eternity. And so, [1:45:01] unfortunately, it's a money issue. And we've got to cut off the money, just like what they're doing [1:45:05] with the learning centers and all the other fraud. Until we really get a handle on that fraud, we're [1:45:15] not going to cut the money off to the bad guys. And if you don't cut the money off to the bad guys, [1:45:19] you're going to have a hard time winning. Yeah, exactly. We're seeing that kind of fraud in a [1:45:24] number of states out there. Of course, always a shout out to Nick Shirley for getting that ball rolling [1:45:28] to the next gear. Sir, if there is a Governor Hilton or a Governor Bianco and they called you and said, [1:45:35] sir, we'd like you to come to Sacramento to be a part of this cabinet, what would you say? [1:45:42] I'm ready. It can be very difficult to be in the ultra-minority because a lot of times you feel [1:45:52] like you're screaming into the wind. I would come work for free because the idea of working to save my [1:46:02] state. You know, I took a lot of criticism because in my speech about the lawsuit, I said, [1:46:09] this was one of the most important days of my life. And people said, oh, it's that important [1:46:12] if you're being a racist? I said, no, it's that important because I was born in San Diego. I lived [1:46:19] in California when it was by far the greatest state in the union. It is now by far the worst state in the [1:46:24] union. And there's got to be a reckoning for that. We've got to turn it around because I don't want to [1:46:29] leave the worst state in the union to my kids and my grandkids. So I would do whatever I could to [1:46:35] make it better. And I think either one of those guys would do a great job. The thing to really pray [1:46:40] for is that because we're in a jungle primary system, it doesn't have to be a Republican and [1:46:44] a Democrat. There's a slight possibility we could have two Republicans in the runoff and then we win [1:46:51] no matter what. Yeah. And then whoever wins, then the other one that didn't win could hopefully be [1:46:56] a part of the cabinet anyway. We hope to see that happen there in California, man, [1:47:00] a Republican governor. Once again, I know Arnold was the guy back in the day, but [1:47:04] and I think that's pretty interesting that, you know, I, we didn't talk about that, you know, [1:47:08] when we were emailing about having an interview, I didn't, I wasn't going to ask you about if you [1:47:12] were going to set up shop and move and go to Sacramento, if you were to be called on, I mean, [1:47:17] that's, that shows right there actions louder than words that that's, that's quite the distance [1:47:23] too. How that's a seven hour drive from your area. Isn't it five to seven hours? [1:47:27] Oh yeah. Longer, longer. It's it, it, yeah, probably an eight to 10 hour drive. Yeah. [1:47:32] Whew. Well, but, uh, you know, you, you get to a certain age in life and, uh, you see what's [1:47:39] important. Thanks for, thanks for thinking about it. I, you, you might want to give Steve or, or [1:47:44] chat a call and tell them I'm on, I'm available. No, that'd be awesome. We did interview both [1:47:50] candidates pretty recently and that'd be kind of cool if that worked out, uh, there in California, [1:47:54] Bill Wells, the mayor of El Cajon. Thank you again for joining us. Thank you for your service [1:47:57] to the country and doing the right thing. I appreciate you giving me a chance to talk. [1:48:02] Thank you very much. Definitely. Thank you, sir. Great stuff there, man. It's refreshing to see [1:48:06] when it's, whether it's local, state, federal government and people that are standing up for truth [1:48:12] or standing up for what's right. It's pretty awesome to see that. That'd be quite the move, [1:48:17] eight to 10 hour drive. So El Cajon, which is, you know, just outside of San Diego, [1:48:21] you drive all the way up to Sacramento, California. I've actually been, uh, on that trip, but it was [1:48:27] more along the west coast there. Anyway, uh, good stuff there. It's, uh, 317, 316 Eastern time. [1:48:33] Thanks again for joining us here on Right Side Broadcasting Network. Uh, we're awaiting the [1:48:37] White House. Uh, Director, do we have clip 12 in from the White House? Not sure if we do or not. [1:48:47] Let's go to a commercial break. We'll be right back here on Right Side. [1:48:51] Welcome to Right Side Broadcasting Network, your trusted conservative news outlet. [1:48:56] At RSBN, we deliver the truth when the mainstream media falls short. Together, we stand strong, [1:49:37] united and informed. So join us and be part of the Right Side of History. [1:49:41] Hey y'all, it's Silk from Diamond and Silk Chit Chat Live. Look, don't forget to watch my show right [1:49:49] here at Right Side Broadcasting Network. And I want you to support Right Side Broadcasting Network. [1:49:57] It's imperative that you do so, okay? Bye-bye. [1:50:20] All right, we are standing by to go to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Thanks again for joining [1:50:25] us here on Right Side Broadcasting Network. The White House has just posted a new video [1:50:30] all about the President's trip to the villages in Florida. Let's take a look at that. [1:50:34] I'm thrilled to be back in the home of a great place. I love Florida. We love Florida. [1:50:44] With all of the very proud, great American patriots of the villages. We're here to celebrate a policy [1:50:55] that benefits every American senior all across this land, and it's called No Tax on Social Security. [1:51:04] It's done. It's done. Thanks to the massive tax cut. American seniors just received your [1:51:12] largest tax refunds of all time. And here in the Sunshine State, we've issued two and a half [1:51:19] million Florida seniors over $13 billion under the Trump administration. We're standing up for [1:51:28] American seniors like no president has ever stood up before. And just as I promised, we're strongly [1:51:38] protecting Social Security and Medicare, and we always will. We're going to keep on fighting for [1:51:43] American seniors. We've done more for the senior than any other person ever in this office. And [1:51:50] we're going to keep on winning for America. And of course, you saw that speech right here on Right [1:51:59] Side Broadcasting Network as guest host Matt Cain joined us. It'll be great to reach back out to Matt, [1:52:04] have him join us again here for an interview hopefully this week sometime. A great patriot in [1:52:09] Matt Cain. As we are awaiting the live feed from the White House, as you see right there on your screen, [1:52:17] so what we know is the president will participate in a small business summit. This is inside the East [1:52:22] Room of the White House. Meantime, as we await that in international news, President Trump announced [1:52:28] the military will begin Project Freedom to guide stranded commercial ships out of the Strait of [1:52:34] Hormuz, calling it a humanitarian effort, of course. President Trump said in clip nine, [1:52:38] Iran has taken some shots at unrelated nations with respect to the ship movement Project Freedom, [1:52:44] including a South Korean cargo ship. Perhaps it's time for South Korea to come down and join the [1:52:50] mission. We've shot down several small boats, or as they like to call them, fast boats. It's all they [1:52:56] have left. Other than the South Korean ship, there has been at this moment, the president says, no damage [1:53:02] going through the Strait. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Cain [1:53:07] will have a news conference tomorrow morning. Thank you for your attention to this matter, [1:53:11] President Donald J. Trump. In other news outside of the Strait of Hormuz, there is, and it actually has [1:53:17] to do with water and ships, the Hantavirus or the Hantavirus outbreak occurred on a cruise ship [1:53:25] in the South Atlantic. Now, the cruise ship is a Dutch-based company. It's not one that is well known [1:53:31] in the sense of here in America. We know the different cruise lines that are out there, but we're told that [1:53:36] at least three passengers have died from the Hantavirus outbreak on a cruise ship in the South [1:53:42] Atlantic. Also, two U.S. service members are missing during military exercises in Morocco. A [1:53:49] Department of War official tells RSBN that this incident is not related to terrorism. This remains [1:53:55] an active search and rescue operation, and the focus for the DOW is on locating the missing soldiers. [1:54:03] So here are some of the additional details on the two missing soldiers in Morocco. They were [1:54:07] apparently out on a coordinated search, or they were out there on a training mission. So U.S. and [1:54:14] Moroccan forces are conducting coordinated search and rescue operations after two U.S. Army soldiers, [1:54:20] participating in African Lion 2026, were reported missing on May 2, 2026. We're told the soldiers were last [1:54:28] seen near the ocean cliffs in the vicinity of the cap draw training area during scheduled training. And if [1:54:36] we do take a look at the map for Morocco, the ocean, as you see right there, obviously the ocean cliffs [1:54:43] somewhere along that border there is where the two soldiers may have gone into the ocean. Specifically, [1:54:52] I'll get back to the Department of War saying when the two did not return as expected, U.S. and Moroccan [1:54:58] personnel immediately initiated a joint search effort. So the initial reports from the Department of War [1:55:06] indicate the two soldiers may have fallen into the ocean. The multinational search effort includes ground [1:55:12] teams, aerial assets, and maritime elements from the Moroccan Royal Armed Forces, the U.S. Armed Forces, [1:55:19] and other African Lion participants. Now African Lion is the mission of the training mission. So [1:55:25] search and rescue operations continue. Again, two of our U.S. service members are currently missing [1:55:31] off of the coast there in Morocco. Back here at the nation's capital, specifically on Capitol Hill, [1:55:39] the Save America Act has pretty much stalled in the U.S. Senate. We'll see if anything changes, [1:55:45] as we the people of course want this to be signed by President Trump into law. [1:55:49] I know that's not news. A number of maybe organizations or grassroots organizations, [1:55:54] which we're a part of here at Right Side, and we the people, we want it to pass. President Trump wants [1:56:00] it to pass. Senator Tommy Tuberville and many others want the Save America Act to pass. But unfortunately, [1:56:06] it looks like there are a few of the Senate Republicans that just don't really care. I'll just [1:56:11] put it out, I'll put it out there that way. Because if you cared, you would filibuster, [1:56:15] end the filibuster. As President Trump just said on Truth Social, he said, I believe, quote, [1:56:20] destroy the filibuster. We could fact check me if you'd like, just go to Truth Social and check out [1:56:25] President Trump's words about the filibuster. So that's really the only way through is to [1:56:33] the nuclear option. It's not really such a scary word. It doesn't even be that scary. It's called, [1:56:38] hey, we're going to do this. And we're going to have 51 Senate Republicans vote to pass the Save [1:56:45] America Act, and then President Trump signs it into law. So it's a one-two-three step right in [1:56:49] front of us. Step number one, nuke the filibuster. It only takes 51 Senate Republicans to do so. We [1:56:56] have the majority. I believe we have 53 senators, right, to 47 on the Democrat side. So if we have [1:57:02] 51 say, let's do that, let's nuke the filibuster, then it would take a simple majority of 51 to pass [1:57:10] the Save America Act. And then it would be on President Trump's desk. He signs it into law, [1:57:15] then you have to show ID. I have to vote. You have to have proof of citizenship when you [1:57:20] register for federal elections. The whole mail-in ballot fiasco of all the extra ballots to push [1:57:26] people over the edge to win elections, that crap stops. It's only for military, medical, [1:57:33] that kind of thing. Just a few instances. And then the two other parts of the Save America Act, [1:57:39] of course, is no men and women sports and stopping the mutilization of our children. So there's five huge [1:57:46] things going on there in the Save America Act. So anyway, hopefully we get some voter ID. And again, [1:57:55] that's laughable that we don't have that because the amount of nations across the earth that do. [1:58:01] And we're the leading country. We're number one. We've been number one. 249 years ago, [1:58:08] we became number one because we broke away from all the junk. We broke away from the tyrannical crap. [1:58:14] We said, nah, you're not going to stop our freedoms. And we did what we did. That American [1:58:20] Revolution happened. We saw it in the history books, but we know that the Constitution stemmed [1:58:26] from that. And so it's saving America, the Save America Act. As we get ready to celebrate 250 years [1:58:34] young here, wouldn't it be great to have something like that passed? And then November 3rd rolls around, [1:58:41] and we have that peace of mind that everybody voting has shown an ID, or they proved their [1:58:48] citizenship, or there's no mail-in ballots except for a few instances. That'd be nice. You know, [1:58:54] we talk about peace of mind a lot here at the network when it comes to various sponsors, [1:58:57] because a lot of our sponsors, all of them, they're great. It's peace of mind to have a water [1:59:03] filter that's going to take away all the chemicals and the pharmaceuticals that are in your filter. [1:59:09] Yeah, peace of mind. You're drinking water that's better, right? I can go on and on with all the [1:59:14] different sponsors. So that's what we want. Now, if we don't get it, if we don't get the Save America [1:59:19] Act passed, we still have to vote. We still have to get out the vote and make it too big to rig as we [1:59:26] did in 2024. But it's only May, so we have a few months yet to get to November. So hopefully we'll see [1:59:36] some more of that going on in DC where people are talking about it more and more pressure from [1:59:42] we the people. And that pressure comes in a number of forms. All simply, whether it's a call, whether [1:59:49] it's an email, whether if you kindly speak with your senator, but let them know this is what we want. [1:59:56] It's about we the people. We're the ones that are the majority here. And we will be even if the [2:00:02] Democrats win another election in the sense of the presidency in the future. I mean, it usually, [2:00:08] you know, goes back and forth here and there. Of course, that's not going to be great if we have [2:00:14] the White House, the executive branch, the judicial branch, a packed court or a packed judicial court [2:00:21] with justices, the legislative branch, the Senate and the House. If everybody's on the left side of [2:00:27] history, wow, what's our nation going to look like then? So anyway, hence the Safe America Act, [2:00:35] passed the thing, man. All right, approaching the bottom of the hour here. This roundtable, [2:00:42] originally scheduled for three o'clock, obviously 30 minutes late. There's a lot of people showing up [2:00:47] there, small business owners and people that are involved in the industry from all across the country [2:00:52] there at the White House. Again, if you're a small business owner or work at a small business, [2:00:57] we're a small business here at Right Side, aren't we? So, you know, shout out to all the owners. [2:01:05] Thank God for our great small businesses out there. And if you'd like feedback at rsbn.tv, [2:01:12] type in and send us some of your favorite small businesses that are out there that you like. [2:01:18] Maybe some of the pizza shops or the coffee cafes or whatever. Maybe an antique place you like to [2:01:24] check out. A lot of great small businesses, but small towns. And they go hand in hand sometimes, [2:01:30] but still awesome to see it. All right, so we're approaching that 3.30 mark here, Eastern time. [2:01:36] Let me double check if there's any breaking news that's happening right now as we stand by for the [2:01:40] president. We do see the White House reposting that the president continues to deliver for the American [2:01:48] people. They just released the National Drug Control Strategy. It's not just a document, [2:01:54] it follows through on President Trump's promise to America, promises made, promises kept. That [2:01:59] according right here, as the White House reposted that. We just showed you all as well the fighting [2:02:05] for America's seniors and no tax on social security. President Donald J. Trump, of course, spoke with the [2:02:11] American patriots, those that watched, maybe that you didn't attend, or maybe you watched here on [2:02:16] right side just the other day as he spoke there in Florida. As of right now, as for the schedule, [2:02:22] haven't heard any details on any speeches coming up. Of course, they're going to be happening. The [2:02:27] midterms are slowly approaching. Speaking of the midterms, will there be a national convention, [2:02:34] a Republican National Convention for the midterms? The answer so far is yes. Just like there's the RNC, [2:02:40] right? You have the Republican National Convention during a presidential cycle. Well, this summer, sometime, [2:02:47] in some location, all details yet to be announced, there's going to be a midterm convention. I would [2:02:54] think that now that we're in May, and that we have that trip with President Trump going to China, [2:03:01] May 14th, May 15th. And then a month later, June 14th, the big event with the UFC fight on the south [2:03:08] lawn of the White House, all celebrating America 250. It's Flag Day, June 14th. It's President Trump's [2:03:14] birthday on June 14th. My wife and I got married on June 14th. June 14th is a pretty cool date. [2:03:20] And then you go to July 4th. It's the 250th birthday of our great country. You would think [2:03:26] that later in July or August would be when the midterm RNC convention would take place, [2:03:32] rallying support, drumming up support to get out there. But this is not just about the midterm [2:03:37] election on November 3rd. As I take a 30,000 foot view or 33,000 foot view, this is still about the [2:03:44] primaries. We've interviewed a lot of people that are running for office here at Wrightside over the [2:03:48] past several months. And they always bring up, hey, this is also, you've got to win at the primary [2:03:53] level. So if you, your primary, whenever, whatever date that is, whatever state you're watching from [2:04:00] right now, maybe look it up and say, hey, when's the primary in Ohio? When's the primary in Iowa? [2:04:04] When's the primary in Texas, Arizona, all the states out there. So you definitely take part in [2:04:10] that too, instead of just letting, oh, oh, this person will win. I'll just sit back and wait for [2:04:15] the November 3rd midterm. That's not the right thing to do, in my opinion. And you know what? [2:04:19] I got to practice what I preach. Because at the end of the day, I'm looking here, I got to double [2:04:25] check a few things here in the state of Alabama. I've been quite busy as of late, as my wife and I, [2:04:32] we just had our second child over the past week. And so a baby boy, Liam. So happy about that, [2:04:41] obviously, and looking forward to going to see him and my wife here soon after the broadcast. But [2:04:47] anyway, so 333 as we're approaching that right now. So thank you guys so much for all of the [2:04:53] congratulations and all of that on Truth Social. I just posted it on Truth the other day. [2:04:58] And those that follow on Truth, if you'd like, it's at Matthew Alvarez. And then on X, [2:05:01] it's at Matthew US Media. But enough of me, because at the end of the day, [2:05:07] what we're looking to do here, guys, all working together is everything for truth, [2:05:10] everything for freedom, everything for God, family, country, for us to have a winning nation [2:05:16] into the future. That's why we keep talking about the Save America Act. So hopefully we get that done [2:05:20] here soon. All right, let's do this. Let's just take a quick commercial break. We'll be right back [2:05:24] here on Right Side. Welcome to Right Side Broadcasting Network, your trusted conservative news outlet. [2:05:32] At RSBN, we deliver the truth when the mainstream media falls short. Since 2015, we've proudly [2:05:38] broadcasted every single one of President Trump's iconic MAGA rallies, bringing you the excitement and [2:05:44] energy lie before anyone else. By watching RSBN, you get an unfiltered front row view of the action [2:05:50] on the ground. We interviewed the crowds to give a voice to millions of Americans just like you. [2:05:56] We show you President Trump's speeches in their entirety, free from interruptions and censorship. [2:06:02] We cover the stories that matter to you with the integrity and passion you deserve. [2:06:06] Thank you for choosing RSBN as your home for America First News. Together, we stand strong, [2:06:12] united and informed. So join us and be part of the Right Side of History. [2:06:17] Hey, y'all. It's Silk from Diamond and Silk Chit Chat Live. Look, don't forget to watch my show right [2:06:25] here at Right Side Broadcasting Network, and I want you to support Right Side Broadcasting Network. [2:06:32] It's imperative that you do so, okay? Bye-bye. [2:06:57] May 19th. May 19th is the Alabama primary. So I just put it in my notes. Obviously, I've been [2:07:04] busy with work, but busy with family and all that too. So May 19th. So I'm going to get that taken [2:07:10] care of. Anyway, so your primary dates that are out there, obviously, we're registered voters here [2:07:15] in Alabama. But wherever you're registered out there, let's make sure we get to those primaries, [2:07:19] of course, and get that person in that is the closest to the truth and the right side of history as [2:07:25] possible, right? All right. We are still on standby for the Small Business Administrator [2:07:32] event there, the Small Business Summit, as the president will be live any minute from now from [2:07:37] the East Room of the White House. A number of great patriots to attend this event, of course, [2:07:43] with small businesses in America. So looking forward to that coverage. All right. So outside of what we [2:07:49] talked about earlier, we talked about the June 14th event at the White House. Prior to that, [2:07:54] the May 14th event in China, as the president will travel there. We'll also be covering, of course, [2:07:59] the July 4th event in the sense of anything what we see from the president on the White House feed. [2:08:06] And then later in that year, later in this year, ideally, that's probably when that RNC midterm [2:08:12] convention will take place leading into the November 3rd election. So we've had a number of [2:08:18] people, as I mentioned earlier, join our broadcast and really harp on that issue of making sure that [2:08:24] we have all of the various primary voting happening as well outside of that November 3rd vote. All right, [2:08:33] it is May 4th, of course. As you guys know, May the 4th be with you for those that are big Star Wars fans [2:08:39] out there. Which Star Wars is your favorite? Is it Star Wars? Is it Empire Strikes Back? Or is it Return of the [2:08:46] Jedi? Go ahead and share that if you'd like as we're on standby here for the president. Return of [2:08:51] the Jedi, Empire Strikes Back, or Star Wars? Mine has always been Return of the Jedi. But man, [2:08:58] Empire Strikes Back is so good too. And so is Star Wars. So anyway, speaking of that, the White House [2:09:04] posted something earlier. I think we have some details on that. As we have a photo of President [2:09:10] Trump, specifically, I think in the Boba Fett getty up, you see the helmet, the American flag, [2:09:18] pretty cool stuff. And they also had a post underneath that. On the top of my mind, [2:09:22] I don't remember the word for word for it. I could look it up. But there it is. Thank you, [2:09:26] Director. In a galaxy that demands strength, America stands ready. This is the way. May the [2:09:33] 4th be with you. Pretty cool. As we get ready to go to the White House. And also, what's your [2:09:38] favorite? Star Wars or Dune? Dune's pretty cool too. All right, so if you're just joining us, [2:09:44] we went over a ton of news stories. We've had a number of interviews live. So in case you'd like [2:09:49] to check any of that out, go ahead and replay this after we see the President. And those that [2:09:55] are watching live right now, thank you so much for doing so. Hope you had a nice weekend, a good [2:09:59] weekend as we are monitoring the news of the day. Of course, we have a country to save. That's why it's [2:10:05] called the Save America Act. So that's why we really go to it here at the network when it comes to [2:10:10] speaking about the things that the majority of the country talks about. You know how sometimes you might [2:10:15] have a barbecue or maybe a family dinner or just out at the local restaurant or whatever, [2:10:20] or maybe at the sports sporting event and you're talking with people and your politics comes up and [2:10:27] all that. You know those conversations? I've had a million of them. You've had a million of them. [2:10:31] But guess what? We talk about them here on the network in the sense of not from your conversation, [2:10:36] but the actual content. And that's something you just don't hear in the mainstream media. [2:10:42] The tell it like it is aspect. Thanks to President Trump for being someone that told it like it was, [2:10:49] tells it like it is. And so we kind of, you know, a lot of us, not only in the media, but politicians [2:10:55] and people running for office have said, man, if he could really push the envelope there, you know, [2:11:01] there's times to be dignified 100%. But there's times to really call it like it is and really fight [2:11:08] for our country legally, spiritually, and lawfully. As I heard the other day from Alex Jones saying [2:11:16] that as well. I mean, it's true. I agree with him on that. I agree with the guy on a lot of things. [2:11:21] But the point is, that's what we can do. We can fight for our freedom legally, lawfully, [2:11:26] and spiritually. And we're going to keep on keeping on here at Right Side and keep on keeping on in [2:11:31] conservative media. Again, as we are now 38 minutes past the start time for this event, [2:11:37] as soon as we get that live feed, we'll take you there live. Let's just bring you up to date once [2:11:43] again, for those that are just joining us that those two US service members are still missing [2:11:49] at this hour. This was during military exercises in the African country of Morocco. So a Department of [2:11:56] War official tells RSBN that this incident is not related to terrorism. This remains an active [2:12:02] search and rescue operation. And the focus for the DOW, the Department of War, of course, [2:12:07] is locating the missing soldiers. Here are additional details that we received directly from a Pentagon [2:12:13] email spokesperson. The US and Moroccan forces are conducting coordinated search and rescue operations [2:12:20] after two US Army soldiers participating in African Lion 2026, the training mission there, [2:12:27] were reported missing on May 2, 2026. Of course, that on Saturday, the soldiers were last seen near [2:12:33] ocean cliffs in the vicinity of the cap draw training area during scheduled training. So somewhere along [2:12:39] that coast that you see there, when they did not return as expected, US and Moroccan personnel [2:12:45] immediately initiated a joint search effort. Initial reports per the Pentagon indicate that two [2:12:52] soldiers may have fallen into the ocean. The multinational search effort includes ground [2:12:57] teams, aerial assets, and maritime elements from the Moroccan Royal Armed Forces, US Armed Forces, [2:13:03] and other African Lion participants. We're told search and rescue operations continue as well. [2:13:09] So this event coming up is all about the Small Business Administration as well. Let's shift back here to DC [2:13:16] when it comes to Kelly Loeffler, the SBA administrator. Let's go to one of those quick clips. I think it's [2:13:22] about a minute long, Director. I think it's one of the newest clips that we have with Kelly Loeffler. [2:13:27] Okay, okay. We're hearing that the event could be any minute now. So instead of throwing to a video, [2:13:32] we'll continue to stick with you here and stand by. As we're both on the same page right this second, [2:13:38] specifically when it comes to the next video, it'll be the live video from the White House. Looking [2:13:42] forward to seeing President Trump here any minute from now. As earlier, we mentioned a long-time [2:13:49] legendary New York Yankees radio announcer John Sterling has passed away at the age of 88. We [2:13:55] were talking specifically about the mayor as well, Rudy Giuliani, who has not passed, but he is in [2:14:03] critical but stable conditions. We had a number of people, whether from New York or Pennsylvania, [2:14:08] speaking to us today about the great America's mayor, Rudy Giuliani. Of course, going through 9-11, [2:14:16] and also a law and order mayor. So we saw all of that take place, but he was the guy at the helm. [2:14:22] He was the right guy to be at the helm. Also, in other news, we're looking at Spirit Airlines. [2:14:29] RIP, Spirit Airlines is no longer. They were going to try and bail them out, but it just was not [2:14:35] something that they were going to use taxpayer dollars on for that situation. So Spirit Airlines [2:14:39] is not around any longer. I've never flown Spirit. I've flown a number of other airlines, Southwest, [2:14:45] Frontier, Delta, United, American, and all that. But that was a story that happened over the weekend [2:14:51] as well. All right. So again, coming up, we'll have a lot of coverage, especially this month. We'll have [2:14:57] a lot in June and July as we look forward to a number of notable events that will happen. And that's [2:15:03] outside of various events like the one you're about to see here on Right Side. So we'll have the [2:15:09] commentary for you. We'll have the analysis. We'll have the live interviews. We'll talk about the main [2:15:13] stories that are happening not only nationally, but internationally and also on Capitol Hill [2:15:18] as we bring on a number of guests here on Right Side. We're going to see the president here any minute [2:15:23] from now. So look forward to that. Director, do we have a minute to play a video or should we still [2:15:27] stand by on the live feed here? All right. So let's go to the video with Kelly Loeffler with the Small [2:15:36] Business Association Administrator as we await this live feed. Hi, I'm Kelly Loeffler. It is my honor to serve as [2:15:45] the 28th Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration. As the member of President [2:15:50] Trump's cabinet who represents our great nation's job creators, welcome to National Small Business Week [2:15:56] 2026. This year is particularly historic as we celebrate our nation's 250th anniversary. That's [2:16:07] 250 years of free enterprise that built the strongest, freest and most prosperous nation in the world. [2:16:13] American exceptionalism was forged by hardworking founders just like you. Those who build, innovate, [2:16:21] and sacrifice to create generational strength. And today, under the leadership of President Trump, [2:16:27] that legacy continues. Through tax cuts, fair trade, and deregulation, the Trump administration is proud to [2:16:34] support growth, job creation, and opportunity that you power across main streets, cities, and rural America. [2:16:42] At the SBA, we provide the capital, counseling, and deregulation that is driving the great American [2:16:48] comeback. We invite you to take this week as an opportunity to learn more about the many ways that [2:16:53] SBA can help support your journey. So on behalf of myself and our entire SBA team, happy National Small [2:17:01] Business Week. I believe we'll see Kelly Loeffler and we'll also see President Trump and a number of people [2:17:09] involved in small businesses across the country here in just a little bit. Let's look at some of the stories [2:17:14] that are either trending or at least posted by our network here, RSBN. I'm looking on Truth Social [2:17:20] right now. Of course, we have more than five million people following on Truth Social, more than a [2:17:25] million on X. Specifically, one of the stories that I'm looking at off camera here, DeSantis signs new [2:17:31] Florida congressional map into law. That's a story that's happening. Let's also go to the story that [2:17:37] I can see here. President Trump warns of removing more troops from Germany. Obviously, President [2:17:43] Trump is speaking about that as well on Truth Social. President Trump announces Project Freedom [2:17:49] to safely guide foreign ships from the Strait of Hormuz. Also, President Trump suggests impeachment of [2:17:55] Dem minority leader Hakeem Jeffries and Rubio to meet with Pope Leo in Italy. So those are some of the [2:18:03] stories that were posted in the past several hours. We are about 15 to 20 seconds out, I'm told, [2:18:09] to go to the White House. So we're getting that feed warmed up for you. It's something that [2:18:14] no network has right now except for all of us in just a second in the sense of nothing's airing from [2:18:20] the White House specifically until we see that live feed. So we're going to go there any second from now [2:18:25] us. It's 346 Monday, May 4th. This is RSBN Live with Matthew Alvarez. Go ahead and follow us on [2:18:32] Truth Social at RSBN or on X at RSBNetwork. And if you'd like to donate, all you have to do is go to [2:18:38] rsbnetwork.com slash donate. A lot of great donors over the years. Let's go to the White House right now. [2:18:51] Ladies and gentlemen, the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump. [2:18:55] We have a great group of people outside. I just looked at their wares, [2:19:31] and it's beautiful stuff. Made in America. It's great, great stuff. Please sit down. [2:19:36] I'm thrilled to be with you and welcome you to the most fabulous place the White House is. Nothing, [2:19:48] nothing quite like it. People come from all over the world. [2:19:51] King and Queen were just here, and they looked and they said, this place is just amazing. [2:19:56] When they came into the Oval Office, they said, this is something. [2:20:01] And they've seen some very nice places. They've seen some great rooms. [2:20:06] But it is a very special place as we celebrate National Small Business Week. So [2:20:12] let me begin by saying congratulations to the small business people of the year from all 50 states. [2:20:20] It's a big deal. It's a big deal. And you can be proud of yourself. Our country is made up of a lot [2:20:26] of small businesses. And that ends up being a really big business. [2:20:31] As small business owners and operators, the people in this room represent the 36 million small [2:20:36] businesses who create 40 percent of all economic activity in the United States. Think of that. [2:20:42] a group of people added together. You're essentially the most important factor business-wise in the whole [2:20:51] in the whole country. And this country is leading the whole world. We are now. [2:20:56] That I can tell you by a lot. You're the lifeblood of the American economy. And with your help, [2:21:03] we're truly making America great again. We're doing record, record business. We have a stock market that [2:21:11] hit even with this military operation. Call it whatever you want. We can't let Iran have a nuclear [2:21:18] weapon. We hit all new highs. And I said, we have to take care of business because we can't let that [2:21:22] happen. So we did a little detour. And it's working out very nicely. They have no navy. They have no [2:21:28] air force. They have no anti-aircraft equipment. They have no radar. They have no nothing. They have [2:21:35] no leaders, actually. The leaders happen to be gone also. But I can't let them have a nuclear weapon [2:21:43] or you're going to have problems like nobody would believe. And it's going very well. We're also pleased to [2:21:50] be joined this afternoon by Secretary of Energy, Chris Wright, who's been amazing. Where's Chris? [2:21:58] Except we were, everybody was wrong. They thought that energy would be at $300, [2:22:04] right? $300 a barrel. And it's like at 100. And I think going down, [2:22:11] and I see it going down very substantially when this is over, Chris. And I think very rapidly, too, [2:22:17] at levels that you've never seen. Because there's a lot of energy out there. Ships all over the world [2:22:23] that are loaded up with it. They can't do much with it because they got kidnapped by a pretty evil [2:22:30] place. But we're taking care of it. We have Administrator Kelly Loeffler, who's incredible, [2:22:37] and it's the head of the Small Business Administration. We're thinking about a name [2:22:41] change, but I don't know. It's still pretty good, pretty good name. And I always say it's [2:22:46] the small business is a giant business, because when you add up your whole department, [2:22:51] that's not a small business. That's a really big business, the biggest. [2:22:54] Under the last administration and their radical left allies in Congress, small businesses were brutally [2:23:00] crushed by the worst inflation in American history. We had the worst inflation under Biden [2:23:05] that we've ever had. And I always say, I always like to correct because [2:23:09] if I don't correct, then the papers, the media goes crazy. He made a mistake. [2:23:15] Well, the official number is 48 years. I say the worst in history because I don't believe the 48 years. [2:23:21] I say it was worse than that. But in many ways, 48 years sounds worse than in history. I don't know why. [2:23:27] But it was 48 years or worse. It was a Biden inflation. They had, this is what I inherited. [2:23:35] And now we had it down where just prior to the war, the inflation was 1.4 percent. [2:23:42] And for three months, over a three month, four month period, took me a little while to get it down [2:23:48] from the levels it reached. Biden added $6 trillion worth of new regulations and created an estimated [2:23:56] 356 hours of paperwork every year for small businesses. You know what that means better than [2:24:02] anybody. It means no good. Their policies punish hardworking citizens and our policies protect [2:24:09] you and reward you. And also, we happen to have something else that I think is good for your [2:24:14] businesses. We are respected all over the world now, again, as a country. We were left at, we were a joke. [2:24:20] We were a total joke. Right, Rick? I see Rick, my television star over here. [2:24:25] He's been with us from the beginning, haven't you? Like, maybe from the first speech. Long time, [2:24:30] right? Thank you. Thank you very much. Well, I think we're doing good for you, Rick, right? [2:24:35] And you're doing good? Will you chop? I know you're doing good on the television camera, [2:24:41] so that's maybe more. That's good. That's great. Thank you, Rick. Last summer, I proudly signed the [2:24:48] great, big, beautiful bill, the largest tax cuts in the history of our country and boosting millions [2:24:55] of small businesses. Thank you. Boosting millions of small businesses. We passed no tax on tips, [2:25:09] no tax on overtime, and no tax on Social Security for our seniors. That's big stuff. And we add that to [2:25:16] the package that we approved in my first term. We had the best financial years in the history of our [2:25:22] country in my first term, and I think we're going to blow them away this term. You know, [2:25:26] in this term, we have $18 trillion being invested in our country. And if you look at the last [2:25:32] administration, they had less than $1 trillion for four years. We have $18 trillion during 11 months. [2:25:39] The 12th month hasn't come in yet in terms of the numbers. But in 11 months, $18 trillion [2:25:46] investments. We have auto plants being built all over the country, AI plants. We're doing, [2:25:51] and we're leading China in AI. And I'm going to go see President Xi in two weeks. I look forward to [2:25:56] that, but I'll say I'm leading. We have, we have friendly, we have very friendly competition, [2:26:04] but it'll be actually, it'll be a very important trip. We provided 100% expensing and bonus [2:26:11] appreciation, which is tremendous. One of the biggest things that you have. I mean, it's, [2:26:16] people have no idea how big that is. The businesses do. So that businesses can deduct [2:26:21] 100% of the cost of new facilities, equipment, and capital investment in the first year. It used to [2:26:27] take 38 years of deduction. Now you get it done in one. You can take one so you can expand. I think [2:26:33] that's what made us so successful in the first term. But now we have it for a 10 year period. [2:26:38] So you have it for a while. I really was going to make it for a one year period. That would mean you [2:26:42] spend all your money immediately. Now, unfortunately, I gave you too much time. I was sort of against [2:26:48] that. I said, let's do it for a shorter period of time. But we did it. It's the right thing. And this [2:26:53] way, when I get out of office in, let's say eight or nine years from now, I'll be able to use it. I'll be [2:27:01] able to use it myself. And to ensure that you and your family can keep your businesses in the family, we [2:27:14] virtually eliminated the unfair estate tax or debt tax for farmers and for small businesses. So, [2:27:21] you know, oftentimes you build. I mean, I just met some incredible people. They have beautiful [2:27:25] businesses, small businesses. They want to have their children. Those businesses were all long term. [2:27:31] It was the father was there, right? We're just talking about with the beautiful pretzels. I said, [2:27:36] pretzels. Oh, those look good. I want to take some right now. But I didn't want to be rude and rip rip your [2:27:42] bag apart. But the businesses were, they've been in business for a long time, almost every one of [2:27:49] them. And you pass away. You want to have your children take over your business. They work in [2:27:55] your business. And they got hit with the state tax, or we call it the death tax, but we call it both. [2:28:00] It does the same thing. And they couldn't afford it. They went out, they take the business, [2:28:05] they mortgage it up to pay the tax, and they end up losing the business. They end up going bankrupt. [2:28:10] They end up in many cases committing suicide. We have a lot of that. You have a lot, especially [2:28:16] farms. You know, they want to be on that farm. They don't want to lose their farm. [2:28:21] And it's land rich and cash poor. And they go out and they borrow and borrow and keep borrowing. [2:28:27] We ended that. No more estate taxes on farms and small businesses. So I hope everyone's [2:28:32] appreciative of it. Now, if you don't like your children, it doesn't mean anything. [2:28:36] But if you do like to leave them to somebody that you love, then it's a big deal for them. [2:28:41] You have other problems. But for them, it's a big deal. And I want to say thanks to these tax cuts. [2:28:49] 12 million American small businesses got an average tax cut of over $7,000. And our [2:28:56] pass-through deduction alone is delivering an average of $4,600 in savings to 8 million entrepreneurs. And [2:29:03] is projected to generate $750 billion in economic growth for the country. [2:29:10] So many, it's very, really amazing. I see it on the [2:29:14] television. I don't call this fake news because this is real fake news. But [2:29:18] when you look at some of the things that have taken place, we don't get covered correctly. But [2:29:23] in terms of the truth, we were having $5,000, $6,000, $7,000, $10,000, $11,000 with no tax on [2:29:32] tips and no tax on Social Security, no tax on overtime. And people are making sometimes 11. [2:29:39] I mean, I've seen it just where they're asking people virtually on the street, how is it doing? [2:29:44] And everyone's surprised, including me. I didn't know it was going to be as much. But [2:29:48] I knew it was going to be a lot. But you have people that make an extra $7,000, $8,000, $9,000 [2:29:54] a year between the no tax on tips. No tax on overtime is a big one. It's a big one. But the [2:29:59] no tax on tips was great. I won the, you know, typically, I don't know, I don't know why. [2:30:11] I can't imagine people voting for the other side with their policies on everything beyond this, [2:30:16] long beyond this. But we won Nevada by a lot. And typically, Democrats win that state. And [2:30:22] no tax on tips. A lot of people getting tips in Nevada. So it had a big impact on people. [2:30:29] And much bigger than they thought. And they're just now starting to realize how big [2:30:34] and how really wonderful the great big beautiful, I call it the great big beautiful bill is because we [2:30:39] we really, it should be called the great big beautiful tax cut bill and regulation cut bill. [2:30:46] We put everything in four years. If we didn't pass another bill, which won't happen because you [2:30:53] always want to keep going. But everything was put into this one bill. That's why it's called the [2:30:58] great big beautiful bill. And one of the, one of the things that happened is we were going to do it [2:31:04] over 17 different bills. And I said, let's give it a shot. Put everything in one bill. And thank goodness [2:31:11] we did it because the Democrats don't approve anything. They don't. You can have the best [2:31:17] thing. It can be for security. Look at the security. They wanted to fund ice. They wanted to fund [2:31:22] our incredible border patrol. They wanted essentially they wanted to fund the police, [2:31:28] but they don't want to say it. It's crazy what's going on. So we put it all at the beginning. [2:31:33] We have a little honeymoon period, a tiny little honeymoon period in this case. So we got it all approved [2:31:38] late at night. It got approved. And this was really done as a four year bill. Kelly, [2:31:45] you know that very well. You were a big part of it. And we got it done. And everybody was surprised. [2:31:50] They thought we had to do it in little trenches. I don't know that we would have gotten the little [2:31:53] trenches done. There was so much in here that people had to approve it. And if we would have done [2:32:00] it individually, I'm not sure it would have gotten done. Plenty of those individual elements would not [2:32:05] have gotten done. And almost as important as the tax cuts, we've slashed a record number of job [2:32:10] crushing regulations that includes for you. And that includes tremendous numbers of environmental [2:32:16] regulations, which stopped your businesses, but they didn't do anything. And they had no impact. [2:32:20] If anything, they made the environment worse. But we eliminated 129 old regulations for every new one [2:32:28] that was approved. It was supposed to be one in 10. And it's turning out to be 129. So for every [2:32:35] regulation, think of that, 129. We lose them. We get rid of them. It was supposed to be one in 10. [2:32:42] We would have been happy with, we did one in 12. We started off one in seven with my last administration. [2:32:49] We got it up to about one in 12. Now I see we have a one in 129. So we're getting rid of 129. [2:32:56] nonsense regulations for every new one that we pass. And thanks to these pro-growth policies, [2:33:02] our economy is roaring and factory construction is way up. Consumer confidence is way up. Business [2:33:09] investment is more than triple compared to that of just a short time ago. And before I took office, [2:33:16] nobody can believe it. And nobody can believe the $18 trillion number that we gave you, [2:33:21] because it's a record for any country, not just here. It's for any country. A lot of that had to do with [2:33:26] November 5th. But a lot of it had to do with tariffs. We charge tariffs to companies. When they [2:33:32] come in, a couple of you were just saying to me that you're getting hurt by China and other [2:33:38] countries making a product that's not as good, but it's less money because of the fact that there [2:33:43] were no guards, no safeties for you. And we've changed a lot of it. Some have said, [2:33:48] you've absolutely saved our business. But because of the use of tariffs, we have all this money. [2:33:54] Because if they come in and build a business here, if they build their plant here, there are no tariffs. [2:33:59] Jobless claims just hit the lowest level since 1969. And more Americans are working [2:34:05] today than at any time in the history of our country. So we have more people working today [2:34:10] than at any time in the history of our country. That's so beautiful. That's so beautiful. I mean, [2:34:17] what can be better than that? You say, like somebody who's saying, oh, will AI take our jobs? [2:34:22] Well, we have a lot of AI up. Is it going to take jobs? I said, well, you're probably right, [2:34:26] maybe a little bit, but it's going to create a lot of jobs. And did you know that more people are working [2:34:30] in the United States right now than ever before? They said, no, is that true, really? That goes, [2:34:36] that's the end of that argument. And a lot of good things are happening. And leading in AI is very [2:34:41] important because that's a tremendously big industry. And we want to be able to lead, [2:34:46] primarily it's China, but others, other countries are very much active in it also. [2:34:51] Under the last administration, one in four new jobs was a government job. But since my inauguration, [2:34:57] 100 percent, think of that, 100 percent of all new jobs have been in the private sector, 100 percent. [2:35:05] We cut a lot of government jobs. And two of the three new jobs have been in small businesses. But I [2:35:16] just want to say, so think of that, 100 percent of new jobs are in the private sector. Now, to do that, [2:35:24] we cut tremendous numbers of governmental jobs. And I feel sorry for everyone. And I, you know, [2:35:31] it's a hard thing to do. Many of those people voted for me. But now they like me because they went out, [2:35:36] they got private sector jobs that they like better. And it's paying them sometimes two and three times [2:35:41] more money. So it's worked out the right way. But you have to do that. You can't just give, [2:35:46] I mean, we had jobs, we had government jobs where you'd have 10 people doing the job of one person. [2:35:53] And it just, it's, you can't make America great that way. So we did it the hard way, [2:36:02] but the correct way. And the correct way. Big difference, right, Kelly? You see it. [2:36:06] Nobody's ever seen anything quite like it. And it was, especially working here, [2:36:12] it's tough because, you know, this is the home of federal jobs. I wouldn't say I got tremendous. I mean, [2:36:19] you know, we won the election in a landslide. We got, we won all seven swing states. [2:36:24] We did all the things that you've heard so many times with counties, [2:36:28] counties, which is a big count. That's why you see the map is all red, [2:36:31] practically. When you look at it, we won 86 percent of the counties in the country. [2:36:36] But here is a little bit different. But now, if you look at those people, [2:36:40] some of them have left. And by the way, speaking of that, [2:36:43] Washington, D.C., which was very unsafe a year ago, a little more than a year ago, [2:36:50] is now one of the safest cities in the United States. [2:36:54] So we had to cut the jobs because we were way bloated with federal jobs. And, [2:37:03] you know, I could make, I could, with one swipe of the pen, I could say, [2:37:07] let's have no employment and I'll hire a million people or two million people. I say, [2:37:11] we just hired a million people and we have absolutely no employment. And that's what they would do. [2:37:16] They'd have bad numbers coming up. So they'd hire a couple of hundred thousand people. [2:37:20] And the numbers would look okay. With me, it's the exact opposite. We [2:37:25] terminate a lot of federal jobs that are unnecessary. And they don't like me for doing it. But a year [2:37:31] later, they like me because they end up having a much better job, oftentimes in a place where they'd [2:37:37] much rather live. You know, they go to the place that they want to go. They're not stuck in [2:37:41] Washington or someplace else. And they do much better. And in the end, I mean, I've had a lot [2:37:48] of people come up. They say, I was so angry at you, but now I'm making sometimes two or three times [2:37:53] the money in a job that I really like. So you got to do what you have to do. You have to, [2:37:58] politically, I don't know if it's good, bad or indifferent. I think it's probably bad, [2:38:02] maybe politically. But in the meantime, I'm in the White House, so maybe it's good. [2:38:06] A lot of times, a lot of times, you know, as you've probably heard, the fake news media treats [2:38:16] me very, very badly. 93% of the stories I get are bad, and yet I won in a landslide. How do you [2:38:22] win all seven swing states when you get only bad press? It's fake press. They give me fake polls. [2:38:27] They tell me about polls and this. You know, it's interesting. I did a poll on the war with Iran, [2:38:34] and they said only 32% of the people like it. Well, I don't like it, and I don't like war at all, [2:38:40] but we're equipped better than it. We have the greatest military in the world. You saw what [2:38:44] happened with Venezuela. You see what happens with everything. But they said 32% of the people are [2:38:50] against President Trump. Well, when you explain it, like, is it okay for Iran to have a nuclear weapon? [2:38:57] It wouldn't be 32%. But even if you said that, there'd be a 32% because the polls are fake. [2:39:03] I mean, they're totally fake. And when you take a look at what's really going on, [2:39:08] the other day I made a speech in a great Florida senior citizens community, [2:39:14] and I made another one at the Kravitz Center, two in one day. It was wonderful. I go out and make a [2:39:18] speech. Then I say, all right, let's go home. Sir, you're making another speech, [2:39:23] and this one's in front of the richest people in the world. I went from an unbelievable group of [2:39:28] seniors. Now, of course, I'm not a senior. I'm far younger than a senior. It's true. I feel like, [2:39:34] I feel the same as I felt 50 years ago. I don't know. There'll be a period of time when I don't [2:39:39] tell you that. They'll speak because I'm honest. I'll say, it's not looking good. I have to be [2:39:44] careful. If I said, as an example, I'm not feeling well. They put on, Donald Trump is not feeling well [2:39:51] because they'll just, they won't know that I'm using that. It's just a reference point. And they'll say, [2:39:57] listen to this. I'll say, I'm not feeling well. Well, someday I might say that to you, [2:40:03] and you'll be the first to know. Actually, I won't have to say it because [2:40:06] you'll be able to see it, just like you did in the last administration. [2:40:10] You know, one of the things I said is that we should have, in my opinion, anybody running for [2:40:18] president or vice president should take a cognitive test. And no president has ever taken one except me. [2:40:26] I've taken three of them and I've aced each one. One in the first administration, two over here. [2:40:32] And whenever they get a little sassy, like, does he still have it? Does he still have what it takes? [2:40:38] I say, all right, I'll take another one. And they are hard. There are many people in this room, [2:40:42] I know, that are smart. They're not going to ace them. There are many people standing back there, [2:40:46] the fake news media. I'd like to have them, you know, the first question is very easy. And they [2:40:51] always show the first question is, you have a lion, a bear, an alligator, and a, what's another good? [2:40:59] A squirrel. Okay? Which is the squirrel? So they show that question. And then the first four or five [2:41:08] questions are, they get a little more difficult. By the time you get to the middle, they're tough. [2:41:13] By the time you get to the end, I don't want to be insulting, but there won't be, I'm not going to do [2:41:17] what Gavin Newsom said. He saw him. He said, everybody in here is stupid, and he's stupid. [2:41:22] When he, I think it was the worst political interview I've ever seen. He said, he's stupid. [2:41:28] He's dumb. He gets bad marks on everything. He can't read a speech. And nobody wants to report [2:41:34] that. It was the worst. But I won't say that, because I think everyone in this room is brilliant. [2:41:39] But nobody's going to get all 30 questions correct. Nobody. Because when you get to those last questions, [2:41:47] they're pretty hard. You've got to be pretty sharp. But every time, so I've taken three. [2:41:51] No president, think of this, has ever taken one. How do you think Biden would have done? I don't think, [2:41:58] he might not have gotten that first question right. Anyway. And Obama would have done poorly. [2:42:04] I think they would have done very poorly. But I think you should have it. As soon as they said that, [2:42:09] they say it's unconstitutional. And I said, why? They say it's unconstitutional to give a cognitive test [2:42:16] like that. But Rick, I do it any time they start getting a little sassy. And you know, [2:42:20] it quiets them down for almost a year when they hear the result. One doctor said, it's the first [2:42:26] time I've ever seen anyone get all questions right. That's a doctor who does this stuff for a living. [2:42:33] And I did it three times. So I don't know. I think I'm done with those days. I'm tired of taking that test. [2:42:39] You know, you sit before a group of doctors and they ask you questions. I said to Ronnie Jackson, [2:42:45] he was original, right? First time. I said, so what do you think, Ronnie? They call me, [2:42:50] they call me a genius who's going to destroy the country. Then they said, he's a genius who's [2:42:56] taken over the entire world. Then they said, he's a total moron. This guy is so stupid. [2:43:02] And then, so whenever I hear that one, I say, let's take the cognitive test. But I really think it would [2:43:09] be a great thing if you could do that. They say it's not constitutional, but I think it would be good. [2:43:14] And I can tell you, a lot of the people that run these small businesses, [2:43:18] you could take the cognitive test and you could do a lot better than some of the people that we talk [2:43:22] about. But I really believe it. I think it's so important for our country. We have to make sure [2:43:26] we have the right people leading this country. Like, we have a war right now. And we're to like, [2:43:33] what, six weeks? They said, what's taking so long? We were in Vietnam 19 years. [2:43:39] We're in Iraq for many years, 10 years, 12 years. We're in all these different wars. Korea, [2:43:47] seven years. I won't even mention World War II. That's a big baby. But you have the wrong person [2:43:53] up here. You'll be in World War III. As sure as you're sitting there, you have the wrong person up [2:43:58] there. It's nasty and tricky. It's tricky out there. We have to have the right people. And they have to be [2:44:05] sharp and they have to be smart. Because one thing about your businesses, small businesses are great, [2:44:10] but if you don't have the platform, meaning the country, meaning the right principles, the right [2:44:14] everything, our country's booming now, despite the fact that we're in a, I call it a mini war, [2:44:20] because that's all they are. They don't have a navy anymore. Think of it. They had 159 chips. [2:44:27] How many do they have left, Kelly? Out of 159, take a guess. She's very smart. Zero. 159 chips. [2:44:35] In the first two weeks, 159 chips. I actually got very upset. I said, [2:44:40] how quality were the ships? They were very good. I said, why didn't you just take the ship? [2:44:44] Why do you have to send it to the bottom of the sea? We could have had, we could have had, [2:44:48] let's say out of the 159, we could have taken 59. We would have had 59. But they liked, [2:44:54] they'd rather blow them up than save them. I would have preferred saving them, but these are minor details. [2:44:59] But one of the, one of the small business owners who can tell us firsthand how our, [2:45:06] tax cuts are boosting revenue is someone you may have heard. And I made mention of the fact he has [2:45:11] been with me. I don't know. Maybe he doesn't like me. Or maybe he loves me. I think I'd rather be [2:45:17] liked than loved by him. Although he is a very handsome man, I would say. But he's somebody that [2:45:23] we all know. And I really, I think he's a fantastic guy. And he has, he's been to so many rallies, so many [2:45:28] speeches. And I love being able to introduce him because he's a champion. He's a winner. You know, [2:45:34] to go on television and to make it, he made it big. But to go on television, I don't know if you know [2:45:40] this, Rick, 5% of the shows make it. 2% of the shows make it pretty good. 1% of the shows make it. [2:45:47] So it's very risky to do a television show because, and I did The Apprentice, and that was one of the [2:45:52] great hits of a long time. But you did, you did your show. And I've, I've just always admired. I admire [2:46:02] people that will go against the odds. And when you do a television show, you're going, because [2:46:07] very, very few of them make it. And you made it big. So I'd like to have Rick Harrison come up. [2:46:13] It's a gold and silver pawn shop in Las Vegas. And you know his show very well. And say a few [2:46:18] words, Rick. Come on up. You're looking good. Thank you, Rick. [2:46:22] Great. You know, usually I like announce them at rallies, and they give me like three minutes notice, [2:46:34] and I can't come up with a speech. And they've like literally just told me a couple hours ago to [2:46:37] take a little speaking. I just want to say he's amazing. He's done so much. I mean, [2:46:42] so much for all of us. I mean, the backbone of this country is small business, plain and simple. [2:46:47] And the last guy at office, all he, you know, all we heard was is that we were the evil people. [2:46:53] We were the bad people, everything else like that. We don't pay our fair share, [2:46:57] whatever that's supposed to be. And he made it tough. And this guy, the big, beautiful Bill, [2:47:02] absolutely amazing. You know what I mean? God bless you for letting me, letting me get 100% [2:47:07] appreciation. It really helps out. And all I can say is this is literally, I mean, I'm a history buff, [2:47:13] and I know a lot about this White House thing and everything. Literally, he's going to go down as [2:47:17] maybe the best president ever. I love this guy. Wow. Wow. I'm glad we didn't tell you because [2:47:31] actually that was much better than when you're fully prepared. When he comes up fully prepared. No, [2:47:38] that was great. Thank you very much. And a very special guy. Thank you. Very nice. [2:47:44] One of the strongest, and by the way, right behind me, see this? I call it, you call it a room. [2:47:50] This is the biggest room in the White House. Not big enough to have anything. We had the king here. [2:47:54] We had like 102 people, and we could have had 2,000 people, literally. But this is, I call it a knockout [2:48:02] panel. See, some people would say, oh, that's a curtain. Underneath that curtain is a window, [2:48:07] outside of that window is the new ballroom. So I said, I'll leave, I'll get out of here, [2:48:12] and I'll let you guys, if you want to see a beautiful structure going up, complex, safe, [2:48:20] things that could never happen like happened a week ago. That was a pretty bad situation. [2:48:26] You can't have 1,000 units over the ballroom with an entrance right next to where you are [2:48:31] for a lot of reasons. So if you want, we're going to open that up. I think later on, [2:48:35] you'll open it up, let the people take a look, and it would be pretty good. Not as exciting as [2:48:39] looking at oil wells like Chris gets to do all day long, right? And speaking to that, [2:48:44] we're doing well in Venezuela, right? It's working good? [2:48:47] Yes, we are. [2:48:47] Yeah, that was good. That war took us approximately 48 minutes. [2:48:54] And actually, and we have a great relationship. And you know what? I heard the other day that [2:49:05] the people of Venezuela are really happy. They're seeing things happen that they haven't seen in 20 [2:49:09] years. They're working, and they're there. There's a spirit in Venezuela that they haven't had in many, [2:49:16] many years. And the big companies are coming in now, and they're building these giant rigs because [2:49:20] there's a lot of oil in Venezuela, a lot of other other things too, and a lot of great people. [2:49:26] And we have people in charge that are doing a fantastic job, and they're working with you, [2:49:30] and you are doing a fantastic job. So thank you very much, Rick. Good job. Proud of you. Come here. [2:49:47] You're so good, I said, you better come out. [2:49:58] No, no, I want to say, as you engage with the people of Venezuela and the businesses, [2:50:02] I will tell you that President Trump is incredibly popular with the people of Venezuela. It's a nation of [2:50:08] 30 million people going the wrong way for 25 years. And a bold leadership of this president changed the [2:50:16] trajectory of that country, changing the futures of all those people, wanting millions of Venezuelans [2:50:22] abroad to go back to that country. American businesses are stampeding in to invest in that [2:50:28] country. 25 years trying everything going the wrong way. His bold leadership and creative thinking [2:50:34] changed the game. Thank you, Mr. President. [2:50:36] President Trump Wow, thank you. That's great. We have a great relationship. We have hundreds of [2:50:48] millions of barrels of oil coming out of Venezuela going to Houston and different places to have it [2:50:54] refined. And we're sort of, it's almost really a partnership. The man you just heard speaking, [2:51:00] Chris, has been, he wasn't my choice. He was, I had somebody else for Department of Energy, a fantastic [2:51:09] man, Doug Burgum. And I said, I want you to head up Energy. He says, you know, there's [2:51:14] one person better than me is better than anybody. I said, who the hell is that? Chris Wright. [2:51:20] I said, who's Chris Wright? Tell me. And he's like the number one guy in the whole [2:51:25] world at this subject. And I said, well, let's talk to him. I don't know. He probably makes a lot [2:51:30] of money if he's doing that. And he was. He's taken one of the largest salary cuts in history, [2:51:35] I'll tell you, without question. But he's done a fantastic job. These are the people we have. We have [2:51:40] great people. Doug is great. He was the governor of North Dakota. He ran an incredible state. He [2:51:45] was very successful at business. He started with a small business. He sold it for a billion dollars [2:51:50] to Microsoft. And he wanted to do what Trump did. He said, I want to be a business guy. And [2:51:56] now I want to run. I made a lot of money. I want to run. So Doug Burgum ran and he became a great [2:52:00] governor for eight years. He was term limited. And I saw him at a session, a speaking session, [2:52:08] and sort of a debating session. I thought he was great. And I said, if I win, I'm going to get [2:52:13] that guy in. And he's now heading up. He's now the largest landlord in the world, I guess you could [2:52:18] say, right? Department of Interior. And he's been fantastic. But he wanted Chris to be energy. So he's [2:52:24] got all the power of the energy, but he doesn't have the land. Doug has none of the power of him, [2:52:30] but he has the land. So I merged him. It's a friendly merger. We don't have any papers. They just get along [2:52:36] together, right? And I think today we've announced we're drilling more oil, by far, [2:52:42] than we ever have in the history of our country. More oil and gas, by far. And this was just said, [2:52:50] but this took place almost from the beginning, right? We got it started very, very early. So [2:52:55] you're doing a great job. Doug was right. And we're also very happy with Doug, [2:52:59] because he's doing a fantastic job. Thank you very much, Chris. Appreciate it. [2:53:02] So one of the strongest effects of our tax cuts and tariffs is the Trump manufacturing boom, [2:53:14] is what they're calling it, because that's what we have. We have never had anything like [2:53:17] what's happening now. And when I talk about, again, the $18 trillion that's coming in [2:53:22] and building places. And as we speak, American companies are ordering core capital goods for [2:53:29] factory construction and operation expansion. And you saw the construction numbers. Now, [2:53:34] the plants will be opening over the next period of time pretty soon. But, you know, we just got [2:53:39] started. And these plants are going to be opening. Right now, the big numbers, the construction jobs in [2:53:45] the country are going through the roof. And ultimately, when the plants open, then you're going to have [2:53:49] manufacturing jobs, because right now, the plants, many of them haven't opened, but they're under [2:53:54] construction. When you see the final numbers, you're not going to even believe what you are seeing, [2:53:59] because there's never been any construction boom of factories like we have right now. [2:54:04] We lost our car industry. We lost 54% of our car industry to Canada, Mexico, Germany, Japan, [2:54:13] South Korea, other countries. 54% over the years, over a period of probably 30, 35 years. [2:54:20] And they're all coming back. They're all coming back. And they're coming back at levels that has [2:54:26] never been seen before. It's pretty amazing. What do you see? You'll see it. It can't be disguised [2:54:31] by our friends. It would, I guess, I don't know. I see so many of them smiling and having a good time [2:54:39] that I actually think they probably like us. I think their bosses say, treat Trump as badly as [2:54:44] you possibly can. But they had so many good faces. And so many, they are a lot of professionals there. [2:54:51] But it's the highest rate in over four decades. And under four years of the Biden administration, [2:54:57] real wages for manufacturing workers fell. It fell $840. Under one year of Trump, wages for factory [2:55:08] workers. Manufacturing factory workers increased by $2,500. So think of that. Under Biden, it fell $840. [2:55:19] And under Trump, it went up $2,500. That's quite a difference. And as I said, you haven't seen the [2:55:31] real effect because these factories are being built right now. When they open, you're going to see [2:55:35] numbers that are much greater than that. And a lot of these government workers, government workers, [2:55:41] good people. And, you know, I don't blame them for liking what they had. But they're going to all be [2:55:46] in this system. And they're going to be making double and triple what they were making in government. [2:55:50] And we have a country again. Because you can't have a country that works, where you have [2:55:55] literally 10 people to do one job. You can't have it. You can't have a great country. Earlier this year, [2:56:03] I visited Coast of Steel in Rome, Georgia, before I took office. China and other countries were taking more [2:56:09] of our industry all the time, just more and more. And COSA was hit very hard. Their core business [2:56:14] dropped from two shifts to six days a week. And the two shifts were during my administration, [2:56:21] by the way. But now is down to a very — and then ultimately is down to one shift operating three [2:56:30] days. And it was going down to one day. And they expected to go out of business. There was no stopping [2:56:34] it. And now, thanks to the tax cuts and the steel tariffs that I put on, COSA is thriving like never [2:56:42] before. I just heard from them. And they're at now full shifts, two full shifts, six days a week. [2:56:49] And they may go to a third shift. Round the clock. Think of that. Round the clock. They've never had [2:56:56] that before. And they have the backlog of seven months long of things that they're building. Steel [2:57:01] products. Great. And they said — I was with the gentleman that owns the company. He thought [2:57:07] he was going out of business. And now he's — he said, now I have a great business in just a period of [2:57:11] literally a year and a half. It's — we thought — we thought we couldn't stop it. And he said, [2:57:17] all of my friends up and down the line — they have different businesses, factories, big businesses — but [2:57:22] they all thought they were going out of business. And now they're all doing better than they've ever done [2:57:26] before. And they've gone from employing, in this case, COSA, 50 people to 125 people. And the 50 [2:57:33] people is going down to about 14 or 15. And now they're at 125 and they're looking for additional [2:57:39] people to work. And I want to thank their president, Andrew Seville, who I think maybe is here. Andrew, [2:57:46] are you here someplace? Where are you, Andrew? [2:57:48] Wow. You want to say something? Come on up here. He was — he was — he's so god — he just — he [2:57:56] really understood what was happening. And I think it would be nice. You weren't supposed to speak, [2:58:00] so I hope you're not nervous. Come here. No. You make it easy. Thank you very much. [2:58:05] The most — the thing that took us right to the top was your tariffs. I think everybody in here that [2:58:11] runs a small business, the tariffs had an effect on you one way or another. And that has just taken us — all [2:58:17] the jobs that were going to China. You brought them back, and it really took us to the next level. [2:58:29] And we were honored to have you come down to our company. So thank you for having me back here. I [2:58:35] wasn't prepared to speak, so I'm going to get off the stage. Thank you, Mr. President. [2:58:39] You're better when you don't know you're speaking. You know what? It's a little truth to that, Rick. [2:58:48] When you — sometimes you don't think you're going to introduce somebody. You know they're in the [2:58:52] audience, but they don't know. And they end up doing better because they speak from the heart. [2:58:57] They have no choice. They can't think about all night long. What am I going to say? And then you [2:59:02] get up and you bore the place. No, it's very good. You speak from the heart. And that's true. Tariffs [2:59:10] were a very big part. We had an unfortunate ruling out of the Supreme Court. But the good news is I'm [2:59:15] able to do it a different way. They said use the other way. There was no reason for that. It was terrible. [2:59:20] Actually terrible. But it will have no impact other than I hate to pay people back. Tariffs, [2:59:27] $159 billion. I have to pay them back when a little half sentence — any money taken in [2:59:36] to this point does not have to be paid back. We would have saved $159 billion. And I cannot figure it [2:59:42] out. How could anybody do that? But they did it. We have other ways of tariffing. As you know, [2:59:48] we're already doing it. And actually, they're more tested. They're stronger. A little bit more [2:59:54] complex. I like to keep it as simple as possible. And in many ways, they'll be better. It'll be better. [3:00:00] I just want you not to think that because of that decision, we don't — the tariffs will actually be [3:00:04] higher. It's turning out they're going to end up being higher. But it's made our country rich, [3:00:09] really rich. And it's like Andrew said. I mean, we — without them, there would be nothing we could [3:00:16] do to save your country. Nothing. It's the greatest word. Remember, I used to say, [3:00:20] it's my favorite word in the dictionary, the word tariff. And then the fake news got on me. They said, [3:00:25] well, what about God? What about your wife? What about your family? What about — so they were just [3:00:32] killing me because I said, it's my favorite word. I said, all right, it's my fifth favorite word. I put — [3:00:36] so it's my fifth favorite word. But because of tariffs — and, you know, [3:00:41] the proper use of tariffs. You have to use them in a certain way. But, you know, [3:00:45] we've been ripped off in this — I've been talking about it for years. We've been ripped off in this [3:00:49] country for decades. And we lost our car industry. Think of it. There's a person here making utensils, [3:00:56] beautiful forks and knives and things. Where is that person? Who's around here? So — and he was telling me, [3:01:03] he said, China is coming in, and they're ripping us. And we have a tariff. It's 25 percent. But it's [3:01:08] not enough because, you know, they have certain advantages that you're not going to have. [3:01:14] And — but the advantage you have is you have a higher quality product. [3:01:19] And I'm going to be able to take care of that very easily, you know, just by putting it up. You'll [3:01:23] have — you'll be treated fairly. It's just really tough. And it's amazing you've done as well as you've done. [3:01:29] But you did that because of the quality of your product. We have such quality. North Carolina, [3:01:34] if you take a look, I'm going to put tremendous tariffs on. That process has already started. [3:01:39] It takes me longer now because of the Supreme Court decision to have to go through a process. [3:01:44] It's ridiculous. But we don't like it. We like to do what's right and get it done instead of having to [3:01:50] do a report which is going to come out and say the exact same thing that everyone knows. But [3:01:55] you can tell the people in North Carolina that, you know, we used to have a great furniture business. [3:02:00] I built a lot of hotels and a lot of different buildings where I need furniture. I would go to [3:02:04] North Carolina. These were great artists. And China essentially put them out of business because [3:02:10] we never — we didn't have a president that was willing to do it. Happened before my term. [3:02:14] They'd been out of business for a long time. I used to go down there and see these people. [3:02:18] They were artists with wood. I'd say, I'd like to make the handle a little bit slimmer. [3:02:23] Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. It was like magic. And we lost that whole thing. [3:02:29] You can see it's coming back because we're putting tariffs on furniture where [3:02:33] you'll be able to more than compete. We have to protect our businesses. [3:02:37] Same thing with you and the utensil business. Your stuff is so beautiful, but it's very tough [3:02:43] when you're competing against something that is cheap and, you know, because of the lack of [3:02:48] protection that you've been given, it just puts you out of business. So you actually said thank [3:02:54] you for the tariffs, but the tariffs really aren't high enough, in my opinion, in that particular [3:02:58] thing. But with the furniture, we're going to bring all the furniture back to North Carolina [3:03:02] and you're going to see — it'll be as robust as it was 25, 30 years ago. The greatest furniture [3:03:10] people in the world. And they got stolen. They really didn't take them. They found people in [3:03:17] China that could do it. And all those people got put out of jobs. And their kids have that same [3:03:22] ability. And you watch what happens, how good it is in North Carolina because I've been — I've had to [3:03:28] go through a process to get that approved. But now it's proved. And you're going to be, again, [3:03:33] the furniture capital of the world because nobody can do that quality. And I know the quality. I buy a lot of [3:03:38] things from China. And because I was forced to. You know, when I was in the hotel business, [3:03:42] I was forced to buy from China because of pricing — because of pricing and because of — for other [3:03:48] reasons. What I wasn't getting was the kind of quality that we were getting here. And now you'll [3:03:54] have a combination of both. So you can let that be known. I don't know if that's breaking news or not [3:03:58] for these people. But to me, it's very important. I've been wanting to do it for a long time. And now [3:04:03] we have it pretty well ready. So — and we love North Carolina. My administration's also committed to [3:04:12] ensuring that American small businesses have access to the credit and capital that they need [3:04:18] under Administrator Loeffler, who's phenomenal. She is phenomenal. And she's got a great husband, [3:04:29] Jeff. And he's a friend of mine. And he's a very successful man. And he's a great man. And he's got a [3:04:35] great wife. And I'm so happy getting her in this position. She replaced a woman who is a very [3:04:41] legendary woman, Linda McMahon, who's now in education. She's doing a great job. She's moving [3:04:46] education back to the States where it belongs. And Kelly is doing great. But last year, Kelly, [3:04:54] our Small Business Administration issued $7 billion in loans to 11,000 new startups, [3:05:00] as well as $1.3 billion in loans to 3,000 veteran-owned small businesses, [3:05:06] and $3.2 billion. They're a big business, you know? That's why I say, how can we call it small [3:05:11] business? $3.2 billion to American manufacturers helping restore those beautiful words, [3:05:17] made in the USA, where we're using them more and more. We have things being made here that nobody [3:05:22] thought it was even possible for it to come back, like you'll see in North Carolina with the [3:05:27] furniture. It'll come back very, very rapidly. So, Kelly, I'd like to ask you to say a few words, please. [3:05:32] Thank you. Thank you, Mr. President. First of all, you are the most pro-growth, [3:05:44] pro-small business president in American history. Thank you. It's such an honor to join you here at [3:05:54] the White House to recognize National Small Business Week. And you're the greatest commander-in-chief [3:06:00] ever, but also one of America's greatest businessmen and small businesses know that. [3:06:05] They see that this administration is shifting power and capital from fraudsters and Washington [3:06:13] bureaucrats back to Main Street job creators, just like we have gathered in this room today. [3:06:19] Fair trade, deregulation, and the working family tax cuts in the one big, beautiful bill. [3:06:25] They are powering real opportunity that I see all over as I travel this country, [3:06:30] the country, especially after four crushing years of Bidenomics and decades of shipping our jobs and [3:06:38] our industries overseas, hollowing out our local communities. That is ending. [3:06:44] As I travel the country each week, and Mr. President, I've traveled with you from [3:06:48] Iowa's machine-shed restaurant to Georgia's Kusa Steel Factory, America First policies are restoring the [3:06:56] American dream on Main Street to New Heights, at generational businesses like Jimmy's Famous Seafood, [3:07:03] at industrial innovators like Prince Manufacturing in Georgia, and Blue Patriot in Nebraska, who are [3:07:10] building big, beautiful new buildings thanks to the working family tax cuts. Today, 98 percent of U.S. [3:07:18] manufacturers are small businesses. They're a critical part of securing our supply chains, [3:07:24] and while they contribute to national strength across all kinds of industries, from energy to [3:07:30] agriculture to defense and aerospace, America's big manufacturers rely on these producers and their [3:07:38] skilled workers. And that's why President Trump's economic agenda means Made in America is coming back, [3:07:44] and it's coming back fast. Now, at the Trump SBA, we're helping to fuel that growth. As the most free [3:07:58] enterprise agency in the federal government, in 2025 alone, we guaranteed a record 45 billion dollars [3:08:08] in lending to 85,000 small businesses through local banks. That's an all-time record at the SBA, [3:08:15] and we did it with 53 percent fewer staff at the agency. That capital is driving the job creation that you [3:08:28] see. Record small business formation. This year, record small business formation. And growth in [3:08:36] communities all across America. It's such an honor to highlight the award winners that are here today, [3:08:42] and the vital role of hard-working small businesses that do their jobs every single day. [3:08:49] They are America's backbone. From our farms and restaurants, to our construction companies, [3:08:54] and our manufacturers, and our trucking companies. Thank you, Mr. President, for recognizing that small [3:09:00] business is big business. 250 years ago, our founding fathers were also entrepreneurs, small businessmen. [3:09:09] With the America First agenda, that legacy continues. America is open for business again. Thank you, Mr. President. [3:09:17] That's a great job. I just want to sort of end by, I'll give you a little, uh, common sense business. [3:09:32] So, a lot of you run your business, uh, for a couple of reasons, talent, brilliance in many cases, [3:09:41] but also common sense. And, uh, I'll give you just one little anecdote. We have a beautiful, [3:09:48] potentially beautiful, built in 1922, it's a long time ago, reflecting pond in between the Washington [3:09:55] monument and the Lincoln Memorial. It's the long, it's 2,500 feet long. That's taller than, [3:10:03] I think, any building in the world. Uh, it would be if you lay it sideways. It's two empire state [3:10:08] buildings more than that. And very wide, 167 feet. And for years, they've wanted to fix it, rebuild it. [3:10:16] It's granite. The stone is good. Granite's great. But, uh, it was leaking because it's little pieces of granite, [3:10:23] very, very expensive when they did it. But it always leaked from the day they built it. [3:10:28] And, uh, 19, think of that, 1922. And it leaked and leaked badly. And, uh, they've looked at fixing [3:10:35] it for decades, really fixing it. And it wasn't working. It was too expensive. And the final, uh, [3:10:43] price we got fairly recently was to fix it as $350 million because they were going to take the granite [3:10:49] out. And they were going to replace it with new granite, new stone, tighter joints, all that. [3:10:56] It was going to take three and a half years. And I heard about it. And I called Doug Burgum. And I [3:11:02] said, Doug, what do you think? I built a lot of swimming pools, hundreds of swimming pools in [3:11:06] different jobs. I said, let me look at that surface. So it's granite. So granite is virtually [3:11:14] indestructible, but it was filthy dirty. It started because I called because it was so dirty. It was [3:11:19] disgusting. People called me and they'd say, you know, it's a shame. I'm looking at the [3:11:23] Washington Monument. And this thing is terrible. The water is dirty. There's cartons of stuff in [3:11:30] it. And everything is just so horrible. And I said, well, that's terrible. We can't have that. [3:11:36] I actually had Secret Service. I said, drive over there. I want to see it. Sir, [3:11:39] we won't be able to. I said, just do it. And when it was terrible, I looked at it terrible. [3:11:45] So think of that. So it's going to cost 350 million. So we're going to take the granite up, [3:11:50] put new granite and think, you know, consider it like as tall as the tallest building in the world, [3:11:55] if not taller, and laying on its side. And I said, well, that's terrible. 350 million. [3:12:02] It's going to take three and a half years. Three and a half years. It'll be it. And you know, [3:12:06] three and a half years means five years. $350 million means $500 million to fix a thing. And I said, [3:12:14] you know, I built all these swimming pools. And they're phenomenal. They're 20 years. [3:12:18] I have one up the road where it's a great club on the Potomac River. And I bought it, [3:12:24] I'll bet 20 something, 21 years ago. And I built a beautiful Olympic-sized pool. [3:12:29] And I asked the other day, I said, how good is the pool? Oh, it's beautiful, sir. [3:12:33] I looked at it. It looks like it's brand new. It was done 20 years ago. [3:12:36] So I have some very good contractors, some good one or two in particular. [3:12:41] And I sent the two of the, actually the three best. I said, do me a favor, fellas, [3:12:46] go take a look at the reflecting pool that sits in between Lincoln and Washington, [3:12:51] the beautiful, what should be beautiful reflecting pool. And one of them who came back, [3:12:56] who's really, I would say the best, but they're all good. He came back, he said, what an exciting job, [3:13:02] sir. I said, so how long would it take you to redo it? He said, well, [3:13:08] we have to fix the surface a little bit, create something good and solid underneath. [3:13:14] That'll take about a week. And, and let's say it'll take me to put the new material. Now, [3:13:22] the swimming pool is good, but he said, sir, I'd get commercial grade. What is that? He said, [3:13:27] that's much stronger, much heavier meant for commercial. It actually looks better. It's more [3:13:35] expensive, sir. I said, that's okay. I said, how much will it cost? I think we can do it for about [3:13:41] a million nine. So he said, what color would you like, sir? And I said, well, you know, [3:13:49] that beautiful color that we have in Florida. He said, this is in Florida, sir. We don't have that [3:13:55] green blue around here. We have blue water. But he gave me a choice of 50 colors. Now I'm going crazy. [3:14:02] I'm saying don't think of it. If we put the granite, you know what your color is? [3:14:06] It was gray. It was gray, not a good looking color. So even if you did it, it's not good. [3:14:12] So he said, we'll do a beautiful job. I think that, uh, I'd like to recommend a color that I've used [3:14:18] before. Uh, it's beautiful. What's it called? It's called American flag blue. I said, that's the color I [3:14:26] want. Because that's how can you have a better, right? I said, how can you have a better color than [3:14:34] American flag? We had a gray, disgusting dirty. It showed all the dirt. It showed all the [3:14:40] everything. So we, we finished it about, uh, two, three days ago. They, uh, ripped the hell, [3:14:47] you know, they roughened the surface. They left all everything there. The demolition would have cost [3:14:52] 60 million dollars to take the stone out and put new stone in. So we cleaned it. We steam cleaned [3:14:59] it. We sandblasted it. We pebble blasted, you know, pebble blasting. That's a serious sandblast. [3:15:05] That's really because it's granite. It's so strong. We roughened the stone. So it's a good surface. [3:15:10] It's got it immaculate and it's beautiful. And, but it still has the lines in between. You're [3:15:15] going to have leaks all over the place. And, uh, we filled in some areas and the work started [3:15:20] a few days ago and I wanted to go today. I said, let me see these small business people. Then I want [3:15:26] to go over and see the contractors to see how they're doing. But, uh, Secret Service was not [3:15:32] thrilled. They were not thrilled at me standing in the middle of a pool with lots of buildings [3:15:36] looking down. You know, we have to be a little conscious of that, right? Chris, you'll have a new [3:15:41] boss someday. And I don't know if you'd like that. So, uh, so here's the story just in a nutshell. [3:15:49] For a much better job. 1.9 million, one week. Because I don't call the, uh, you know, [3:15:59] actually the Parks Department did a great job. They cleaned. They had a lot of men cleaning. [3:16:03] They're scrubbing the scum off years and years of decay and bacteria and everything else you can [3:16:10] think. It was terrible, actually. It was worse than the people would tell me. They say how bad it [3:16:15] looked. It was much worse. The Parks Department did a fantastic job. They got it down to the surface. [3:16:20] And these guys came in and made the surface really, really good. And now the beautiful, [3:16:25] the fun starts. And they're putting it down. So, ready? 1.9 million versus 350 million dollars. [3:16:33] Right? Common sense. Common sense. A great, beautiful blue color. American flag blue, [3:16:44] blue, as opposed to gray. Right? Water's not gray. But it's one of those things. And [3:16:52] instead of three and a half years, instead of three and a half years, [3:16:56] it's one week. So, think of that. One week. Don't everybody say, [3:17:02] well, yeah, but you can't compare this. Yeah, you can't. It's much better. It's a much better job. [3:17:07] This will last for at least 50 years. And you'll never have a leak. It's very strong. You couldn't, [3:17:12] if you had a knife, I don't want to give anybody ideas. If you had a knife, you can't even cut it. So [3:17:18] strong. So powerful. It's like powerful rubber. It is beautiful. Sealed. And I looked at just one of [3:17:25] the little pieces that they did to finish. It's like a piece of glass. Beautiful color, beautiful [3:17:29] everything. You could never get any anything like that. And just think of it. So, for a tiny fraction of the [3:17:37] cost. And a tiny fraction of the time, we end up with the most beautiful thing that you'll ever [3:17:43] see. And I look so forward to that opening up. And it's sort of a business thing. It's a common [3:17:47] sense thing. First thing I thought of when I heard $350 million, because I'm the one that said, [3:17:53] let's get it done. But they had done studies for years because they wanted to get it done. [3:17:56] Never got done. Probably so expensive they couldn't afford to do it, really. But there's a thing, [3:18:02] common sense, right? Swimming pool. I said, well, swimming pool looks so beautiful. Wouldn't [3:18:06] that be nice? So for a tiny fraction of the time, a tiny fraction of the cost, [3:18:11] we end up with a much better product. And this is what you people do with small businesses all the [3:18:18] time. It's what Kelly does in running this. She comes to me a lot of times with ideas for less [3:18:23] money. It's a better job. So I just thought I'd tell you that because this just happened. [3:18:29] This just happened. If you go down, if you'd like to see them doing it, on your way back home, [3:18:34] take a trip down to the reflecting pond, or they call it the reflecting pool. Some people call it the [3:18:40] reflecting lake. But the word reflecting is always a part of it. They call it different things, but [3:18:45] reflecting is always a part. Last but not least, we have someone who is helping us lead the revival in [3:18:52] American manufacturing this year's national small business person of the year. I want to hire him. [3:18:59] How big is this business? I want to get him. Mark La Mancha. And he's a fantastic guy. And he's the [3:19:05] owner of Hometown Products, a metal casting and 3D printing company near Youngstown, Ohio. Here, [3:19:12] it's amazing what he's done. In 2008, the company was nearing bankruptcy. It looked like it couldn't be [3:19:18] saved. But that's when Mark patented a system to boost productivity at the company by more than 400%. [3:19:25] Mark would like to use you in government. How would you? If you could use that system in government, [3:19:30] that would be very nice. He transformed Hometown into a pioneer in 3D printing, and he's leading [3:19:36] everybody. Then today, they're North America's leading producer of 3D printed sand cores and molds, [3:19:43] which is a big business. And Mark, we're here to honor you today. And if you could come up, [3:19:48] we're going to give you a little something. Come on up. Hey, Mark. That's beautiful. I want to get one [3:20:03] of them for myself. I'll honor myself. That's very nice. Would you like to say a few words? [3:20:16] Mr. President and Administrator Loeffler, I would like to thank you for the opportunity and the [3:20:22] privilege to represent the 36 million small business people to be an ambassador for the [3:20:29] largest part of our economy. And I would like to thank you from the Hometown Products industrial [3:20:35] athletes team that I have the privilege of serving every day as their head coach. [3:20:41] But even more, I would like to thank you, Mr. President, for restarting and rebooting our economy. [3:20:47] And manufacturing used to be 38% of our economy, and it's down to 9%. And I know that you love America, [3:20:55] and I know that you want to restart that. You know, in the last three months, the PMI index has gone up [3:21:03] three months in a row because of that restart. We have 10% increase in hiring, and we'll be able to [3:21:11] buy more of those million-dollar printers that we're able to print the fight, fight, fight, [3:21:19] Trump statue that was in Butler with Cory. So I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart [3:21:33] for loving America. And, you know, manufacturing is my favorite sport, so let's make America [3:21:41] manufacture again. That's a great job. And I heard it's a great company. You've done a fantastic job [3:21:56] with it. Thank you very much. And you're right, we lost our manufacturing business. And I used to [3:22:02] listen to President Obama say, you'll never get manufacturing back. It's the biggest business in [3:22:06] the world if you get it back. And we're heading to that. I think we'll be higher than at any time. [3:22:11] Fairly soon. When these places open, I think we'll be higher than at any time in the history of [3:22:16] our country. And we used to be a manufacturing capital. We were the manufacturing capital of [3:22:22] the world. And then it got taken away. It went to — the chips went to Taiwan. And all they had to do [3:22:29] is say, if you sell your product back into the country, there's going to be 100% tariff. And nobody [3:22:34] would have left. And, you know, I made an investment — Intel chipmaker, the biggest in the world. [3:22:41] And then it got taken away because of bad politics, actually, because of politicians. [3:22:46] The presidents — no president protected that industry. So all of a sudden, you have this [3:22:51] superpower over in Taiwan. But they're coming back. As you know, we have the biggest companies [3:22:56] coming into — they're pouring into this country. They know that the tariffs go to a certain extent, [3:23:01] and then they go up, up, up as we go. But I will say that it's so sad to see what's happened, [3:23:08] but it makes me so happy to say we're bringing it back. And as sure as you're sitting there — I mean, [3:23:12] these are companies that are fully committed. There are many under construction. They're on their way. [3:23:18] And when I look at what happened to our country — I used to make speeches as a private person. I was — [3:23:24] I always loved politics, but I never thought I'd be doing this. But as a private person doing well, [3:23:29] I used to just marvel at the fact that the car companies were leaving Detroit and leaving our [3:23:34] country at levels that were just — I mean, I said, you're not going to have any cars soon if you [3:23:38] don't do something. And all they had to do is say, you can leave our country. You can have lots of fun [3:23:44] building your cars. But if you think you're going to sell it back into our country for no cost, [3:23:50] you're wrong. But nobody said that. Not one president — even presidents I liked — but they [3:23:58] were bad on trade. You've never had a good president on trade. And now you do. And we're [3:24:04] bringing them back at levels never seen before. So we're going to have something. And as far as [3:24:08] small business is concerned, you are really the driver. I love that story because that's the kind [3:24:14] of story that half of the people — I'm not sure about all of them. I'm not sure about Rick, [3:24:19] but most of the people in this room would have thought of that. They would have said, [3:24:22] well, what about surfacing that stone, that existing stone? [3:24:26] But it's just, you know, one example. It's such a great one because it's massive amounts of money [3:24:32] and time and a disaster of construction for years. They'll be building and building and building, [3:24:38] a mess — what common sense is all about. And you people, more than anything — I know you all, [3:24:45] indirectly. If I don't know you, I still know you. But the fact is, it's common sense. And if you [3:24:51] didn't have common sense, you would not have a good business and you wouldn't have a good small [3:24:54] business, big business, or any other business. So I just want to congratulate — Mark, I want to [3:24:59] congratulate — it's a great tribute, really. You've done an amazing job. But I want to congratulate [3:25:04] everybody in the room. You're fantastic people. And we are really — this is the golden age of America. [3:25:11] I really believe it. Last year, we were scoffed at. I tell the story often that the king of Saudi [3:25:17] Arabia, a year and a half ago when I was over there, he said, you know, America was a dead country. [3:25:25] We didn't think it would be investing. We didn't think it would be appropriate to invest there. [3:25:29] We were a dead country. And now, president, you have the hottest country anywhere in the world. [3:25:34] That was seven or eight months ago. We're a lot hotter than we were then. We had to do this little [3:25:39] excursion. But the excursion is — the stock market's higher now than it was when I — I assumed the [3:25:44] market would be down 25 percent. And that was worth it to get rid of lunatics that would have nuclear [3:25:51] weapons that can wipe out countries with the push of a button. You can't do that. So I had to do it, [3:25:57] because it should have been done 47 years. It should have been done by many presidents or [3:26:04] other countries. It should have been done a long time ago. But we're doing it, [3:26:08] and we have no choice, and I'm very proud to be doing it. But the amazing thing — I thought we'd [3:26:12] be down 20, 25 percent. I thought the market would be down. The market's at new highs, despite all of it. [3:26:19] And so the market is genius, and they see what's happening, and they get it. But I just want to say [3:26:24] it's an honor to be with you. And keep going. Small businesses — some of your small businesses, [3:26:31] like yours are going to be large businesses very soon. And it's an honor to be with you. And Kelly [3:26:35] and Chris and all of the people that work with me, what a great job you do. We appreciate it. Thank [3:26:40] you very much. Thank you. President Trump speaking at the Small Business Summit there at the White [3:27:08] House in the East Room of the White House. Thanks so much for live streaming in with us throughout this [3:27:13] broadcast.
