[2:38] People standing outside tonight. It's freezing. They got here yesterday like at two o'clock in the morning or something. I'm worried about them. Would anybody like to give up your place? Some people come in from the cold. You go out to the cold. I don't think so. I just want to say hello, Pennsylvania, and I'm thrilled to be back. [2:58] This incredible comment with so many proud, hardworking American patriots. That's what you are. So am I. I'm a proud hard worker. I'm a proud patriot. But you're a proud patriot. Thank you very much. Everybody is a great reception. [3:16] You know, we're on to we're on to expose what happened recently when we took over. You know, it's 10 months and already we have the largest investment ever made in the history of not our country, of any country anywhere. [3:31] In the world. Think of that. But let me begin by wishing each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas. Happy New Year. All of that stuff. Remember when I started in 2015, I made my first speech and I said, we're going to bring back Christmas. Remember, they wanted to the radical left wanted to get word of them. They wanted to get rid of the word Christmas. I said, I don't think that's going to work out. And we did it. And now everybody's saying Merry Christmas again. But just over one year ago today with your [4:10] help, we saved America. That's what happened. We saved the most important election victory, possibly in the history of our country. Our country is going down. We're a country that is being scoffed at left at all over the world. We want all seven. Thank you, Charlie. She said, and you saved us. Who are you? Stand up, please. Who said that of her? Only in Pennsylvania can this happen. I know this state, by the way, [5:02] last election, did we kick ass? We won. That means we won three times in a row, as you know. [5:14] But we won all seven swing states. We won the electoral college 312 to 226. We won. And by the [5:23] way, the real vote was much more than this. But we wanted to make it too big to rig. We won the [5:31] popular vote for the first time of any Republican in many decades. And we won 86 percent of all [5:39] counties in America, 2,700 to 525. That's good. We did it. Not me. We did it. And now after just [5:51] 10 months in office, I'm pleased to report that America is winning again. Pennsylvania is prospering [5:57] again. And I will not rest until this commonwealth is wealthier and stronger than ever before. [6:10] Remember when Biden got up and called you a state? That was not good. He said, it's great to be back [6:16] in this state. [6:17] Where are we? Where are we? What state? What state is it? It's Pennsylvania. Oh, oh, okay. [6:26] Now we're respected again as a country. We're respected. Since my inauguration, we've created [6:33] nearly 60,000 new Pennsylvania jobs, including 4,000 Pennsylvania manufacturing jobs that the [6:41] Democrats gave up on. You're doing better than you've ever done. Under our leadership, more than [6:47] 40,000 Pennsylvanians have been lifted off of food. [6:50] 40,000. And working with a great guy. Remember David McCormick? He used to go to everything. [7:04] Every time he knew what was happening. And he's here again, as usual. I can't get rid of this guy. [7:10] Where is he? He got a little lucky, though. You know, in Butler, a place called Butler, [7:16] Pennsylvania. I love Butler, Pennsylvania, but it's amazing. And we had a tremendous crowd, [7:21] like 55,000, 60,000 people. Then I called David. I said, David, come on up. He was working like [7:28] hell to get elected. I said, David, come on up. I said, David, come on up. I said, David, come on up. [7:29] It was a tough race. And very few people could have done what he did. But I said, right at the [7:35] beginning of this speech, I said, David, come on up. Come on up. I want to. This was before the [7:40] thing happened. And then I look up. I said, you know what, David? Just stay there. I'll get you [7:46] later. You're so lucky, David. You're so lucky. You don't know. I could have had a little differently [7:54] shaped ear if it weren't for you. You know, you got very lucky that day. People don't talk about [8:00] that. But I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. [8:00] Remember, I called him up and I said, just stay there because he was walking a little bit slowly. [8:05] I didn't want to take the time. Oh, boy, that was a good day for you. What a job he did. He's [8:12] really a great guy. And his wife, Dina, is fantastic. Thank you. Stand up. He's a lucky man [8:23] working with Senator David McCormick. We've secured commitments for nearly 100 billion dollars of [8:30] investments in Pennsylvania. We were up here a few months ago. Some of the greatest energy [8:36] companies in the world. [8:37] We were doing it on a beautiful day, a little warmer than it is outside today, David. But [8:44] over 100 billion dollars and we've saved a great American company. You know, we saved this little [8:52] group of people and we saved a little company called U.S. Steel. And it's hot as a pistol now. [8:59] And we have the keys to the company. It's always going to be here. It's never moving. They said, [9:07] what happens if it moves to Japan? I said, you can't move a steel mill to Japan. [9:12] You can move a headquarters, but the steel mill stays here. That's all that matters. And I will [9:16] tell you that the company is spending billions and billions of dollars. And there was no second [9:22] by comparison. Other companies were interested, but and they really are. They call me all the [9:27] time, tell me they're really excited about it. And, you know, they're building a lot of [9:31] additional plants. It's turning out to be beyond what anyone thought possible. But we had to save [9:38] U.S. Steel. U.S. Steel was one of the greatest companies, which really for a long period of [9:42] time, years ago, the greatest company anywhere in the world. U.S. Steel was, you see it with the [9:47] big factories that were, I mean, two years ago. Now it's starting to fill up. The tariffs have [9:53] filled it up because people are coming here. Other steel companies are coming to Pennsylvania now [9:58] because they don't want to spend 100 percent, 50 percent, 25 percent of tariffs are all coming in. [10:06] It's amazing. You know, they the word remember when I said tariff, my favorite word is tariff. [10:13] True. But then I got a lot of heat from the fake news. Look at all of them back there. [10:18] I took a lot of heat. I got up early on. I said my favorite is turning out. You know, [10:27] tariffs are bringing us hundreds of billions of dollars. I just helped our farmers out [10:33] because they're starting to do really well. But in order to try and negotiate, [10:40] some countries played a little cute and we just gave them right out of a tariff money. [10:46] Of course, there's nothing right out of the billion, hundreds of billions, [10:49] that we've taken in. We gave the farmers a little help. Twelve billion dollars. And they are so [10:56] happy. And they all they want is a level playing field. And now it's happening. And the tariffs [11:01] are making them rich. It's going to be you're going to see you're going to see what happens [11:05] over the next two years. It's like a miracle is taking place. But we've taken in hundreds of [11:11] billions of dollars, really trillions. Scott, we have the great Scott Bassett. Scott, stand up. [11:20] And if you add. [11:22] To that, all of the companies that are pouring their money to building right now, [11:27] building plants in Pennsylvania and many other states, auto plants, AI plants, [11:32] plants of every type, which we would have never had if we didn't put the tariffs on. [11:38] Did you see where Europe now is saying, I think we've got to start doing what Trump is doing. [11:42] We've got to start putting on tariffs because we're getting our asses kicked. And it's true. [11:46] But Scott, if you really think about it, it's trillions of dollars, not billions of dollars. [11:51] Right. So it's amazing. It's [11:53] the smart people understand it. Other people are starting to learn. [11:57] But the smart people really understand it. One year ago under sleepy Joe Biden. Have you heard [12:02] of him? You know, OK, look, the king of Saudi Arabia told me this. He said, sir, one year ago [12:20] I was in Saudi Arabia. Somebody complained that I was making a foreign trip. I went to Saudi Arabia, [12:27] Qatar and UAE. I brought back four trillion dollars. [12:32] I said he shouldn't be traveling. He should focus on home. What the hell do you think I'm doing? [12:39] And 250 Boeing jets. I brought back so much everything. Then they say he should. You know, [12:45] the stupid people, they say he should be leaving our country. Yeah, let's sit around and twiddle [12:49] our thumbs. It's sort of crazy. Right. But one year ago, the king of Saudi Arabia said it. He [12:57] said, sir, one year ago you were a dead country, dead. They were focusing on China. They were [13:02] looking for, you know, who's next on line. [13:04] Frankly, and he's a good man. And the emir of Qatar said it. UAE said it. The big company, [13:13] the big smart country said it. We were a dead country. One year ago, we were dead as a doornail. [13:20] We were going down the tubes. And now we're the hottest country anywhere in the world. There's [13:24] nobody close. And it's because of the election on November 5th, because that's when it started. [13:44] You see what's happening with recruitment in the military. The enrollment is the highest. [13:49] We've ever had. And, you know, right before November 5th, we couldn't get anybody in the [13:55] military. We couldn't get police. We couldn't get firemen. We couldn't get anybody. And after [14:00] November 5th, that's when it started. Right now, we have the highest enrollment we've ever had, [14:05] the greatest recruitment days we've ever had in the military. It's amazing. So it's November 5th. [14:11] And it's also, again, it's a thing called tariffs. And I told you, I was about to say that, [14:18] you know, because I love the weave, the weave. You know what the weave is? [14:22] You'll hear a bing, bing, bing, bing. You always have to get back to the right location. [14:27] But otherwise, they'll criticize you for straying from the speech. If I, by the way, [14:35] if I read what's on the teleprompter, you'd all be falling asleep right now. [14:39] But it's still one year ago. And during periods of time, I'd say my favorite word is the word [14:47] tariff. I love it more than any other word in the dictionary. And the fake news said, [14:52] that's terrible. What about? [14:54] God. What about family? What about religion? What about your sons, your daughters? What about [15:01] how terrible that that's? So I moved it back to fifth. I have it to fifth. I have the greatest oil man anywhere in the world. I see him sitting right [15:30] there. Chris, right. I was going to put a man, Doug Burgum. He's great. He's interior. And I [15:41] said, Doug, I want you to go to energy. You're really fantastic at energy. Came from North [15:45] Dakota. Big, big fracking place. And really a great job. He was a great governor, I would say, [15:52] right. Really great. And a great person is doing a fantastic job. I said, I want you to head up [15:57] energy, sir. I'd be good. But I'll tell you, there's one man out there in the whole world. [16:02] There's one man out there who would be better me better than me. Who is it? Man named Chris, [16:08] right? So I said, Okay, Doug, you'll go to interior. You work with [16:28] because interestingly, interior owns all the land that has the oil. And he has all the [16:34] expertise that drills the oil. And I said, you know, we'll do a friendly merger here. This is [16:39] pretty good. And that's what we did. And we're right now drilling more oil than we've ever done [16:45] ever before. Prices are way down. We just had four states. It was just reported that four states had [16:52] $1.99 a gallon. So I want to just I want to introduce Chris Wright. Stand up, Chris. [17:06] Who would think you look at him? He's a nice looking guy. No, no. Who would think [17:15] that? He's rated. I mean, he's the most talented oil guy. He can put his nose on the ground and [17:21] tell you whether or not there's oil. Other people have to spend billions of dollars on machinery and [17:26] equipment. And it doesn't work. So I want to thank you. You're doing a great job. And is it true? We [17:31] are right now energy overall, not only the oil and gas, we are right now involved in more energy and [17:39] have more energy in the works by far than we've ever had before. Is that right? Yeah, not even [17:46] one. And I have no higher priority than making America affordable again. That's what we're going [17:56] to do. And again, they cause the high prices and we're bringing them down. It's a simple message. [18:01] If I had one message tonight, you know, this is being covered like all over the world. They gave [20:13] you the highest inflation in history. And we're giving you, we're bringing those prices down [20:17] rapidly, lower prices, bigger paychecks. [20:19] You're getting lower prices, bigger paychecks. We're getting, uh, inflation. We're crushing it. [20:26] And you're getting much higher wages. I mean, the only thing that you, it's really going up big, [20:32] it's called the stock market and your 401ks. It's going up. But I, I say it, you know, [20:42] and I said it the other day and a lot of people misinterpret it. They say, oh, [20:45] he doesn't realize prices. I prices are coming down very substantially, [20:48] but they have a new word. You know, they always have a hoax. The new word is [20:53] affordability. So they look at the camera and they say, this election is all about affordability. [21:01] Now they never talk about it. They never talk. Thank you very much. They say I'm not allowed to [21:07] run. I don't know what the hell that's all about, but that's okay. He said four more years. You've [21:13] seen the new hat. We have four more years, 20, 20. We have all sorts of, we have three years [21:36] and two months to go. And you know what that is in Trump time, three years and two months. [21:41] It's called eternity. We have a lot. We have a long time. We have a long time, but under Biden, [21:51] real wages plummeted by $3,000 a year under Trump. The typical factory worker has already [21:59] seen their wages increased by more than $1,300. And that's in just a few months. [22:05] And for construction workers, it's $1,800 up versus $3,500 [22:13] down. And I think their number is wrong. It's much lower than that for miners. Do we love miners? I [22:19] love miners. I don't know how they do it. Going 10,000 feet under the ground and they wouldn't [22:25] trade jobs with me. If I gave them a beautiful, magnificent penthouse in the middle of Manhattan, [22:32] where I used to live. If I gave them the most beautiful penthouse, they wouldn't take it. [22:38] They'd rather go 10,000 feet underground and dig. That's what they want for miners. Their wages went [22:44] up. [22:45] $3,300 and we're bringing back coal. But my administration cannot talk about anything else [22:54] except when they say the word coal, they have to proceed the word by two words, clean, beautiful. [23:01] So we only call coal clean, beautiful coal. Is that right, fellas? Because coal needs a little [23:08] public relations help. It's a very powerful, it's a very powerful fuel. It's used by China. [23:16] You know, [23:17] it takes all our windmills, but they don't have any wind farms. It's a little interesting, [23:20] isn't it? Wind is the worst. It's a big, it's a big, that's a scam. They ruin your valleys. They [23:27] view ruin your peaks. They and the most expensive energy. The only ones that get rich are the [23:34] developers who make a fortune. You have to change your windmills. And most of them are made in China, [23:39] but China has very few wind farms. You know why? Because they're smart. You know what they do have? [23:44] A lot of coal. They love coal. [23:46] So that's okay. But we have cleaned, beautiful coal and we brought it back into Vogue. We have [23:54] nuclear, we have oil and gas. We have sort of everything. We don't want mint. We don't approve [23:59] windmills. We don't approve it. I'm sorry. We don't like things that kill all our birds. And [24:06] that every time you put one up, only the guy that owns it makes a lot of money. Those guys, [24:11] what a joke. And they are ugly. You're right, sir. But Democrats talking about affordability is like [24:18] white preaching about public safety. And they are really the truly the enemy of the working class [24:26] when they do it because we want to have, we're going to have a great energy policy. You know, [24:30] our oil prices are coming down very substantial energy prices. And honestly, with that, [24:35] everything comes down because there's nothing nearly in the category of oil. [24:41] You wouldn't even know what second is. There are seconds and thirds, but it's so far down the list, [24:45] we don't even talk about them. You get energy prices down, which we're doing with. And again, [24:50] the greatest amount of drilling, the greatest amount of fuel being produced right now in our [24:57] country than ever before. By far, it's not even a contest. And when that happens, those prices come [25:02] down. That's why you're seeing oil per barrel coming down nicely, very nicely. We don't want [25:08] to go so rapidly because we want the people that produce it to keep producing it. But they're doing [25:12] good. But it's amazing. But when energy comes down, your other prices come down to all of your [25:18] prices. And that's exactly we inherited. [25:20] The highest prices ever. And we're bringing them down. We inherited the worst inflation in the [25:26] history of our country. Think of that. And we're bringing them down rapidly. Their entire agenda [25:32] is about robbing working people to fund their far left cronies and give lavish benefits to foreign [25:38] migrants and illegal aliens. You can't do it. Look, we all have a heart. We don't like what's [25:42] happening. But, you know, when they allow them to come in, we have a border that, by the way, [25:46] they don't talk about the border. Washington, D.C., we had a [34:17] tragic incident, as you know, with the two incredible people. What a terrible thing that [34:24] was just two weeks ago, right? Just a terrible National Guard, terrible thing. Sarah and Andrew, [34:32] Sarah passed away. She's looking at us from heaven, from above, and she was killed almost [34:41] instantly. They kept her alive. Her parents came from West Virginia, another great state. [34:45] Her parents are incredible. They couldn't believe it. [34:47] She was 20 years old. Perfect. She was just getting a little promotion. They were so proud [34:53] of her. She was on her way up. And she was shot in the head, the brain, shot in the brain, [35:01] shot in the head. They were able to keep her alive long enough for her parents to come in from [35:05] West Virginia and say goodbye to her. And Andrew is the second one who's also from West Virginia [35:14] National Guard. Incredible people. And so they were both from West Virginia. [35:18] And his mother's name, Monica. And Monica is the most positive person I've ever seen. The night that [35:28] he was so badly hit and the doctors gave him almost no chance. I called their hospital room [35:35] and spoke to her. And she said, so he'll be fine. Oh, no, I'm telling you, he's going to. I'm [35:40] praying. The whole country is praying, sir. I'm telling you, don't worry about it. He's going to [35:46] be fine. The women in those caravans are being raped in unprecedented numbers by other people in the caravans by them not coming. They're not even trying to come now because they know they can't get through. We're doing a tremendous service because they're not being killed and they're not being raped.
