[4:36] And after your horrible hurricane, which produced more water damage than any hurricane in history, [4:41] the Democrats let you down. [4:44] They really did. [4:51] You had to wait till January 20th when I took office that we really knocked the hell out of it. [4:56] Remember? [5:14] But I helped rebuild your state and I didn't get any help from the Democrats. [6:43] The experts with the genius is not them. [6:46] We now have the lowest core inflation since March of last year. [6:51] We're only in the sixth quarter of 2021. [6:54] And we're just getting started. [6:55] It's unbelievable. [6:56] And that's despite taking in billions and billions and billions 100s of billions of [7:03] dollars in tariffs. [7:04] Remember they said, oh, the tariffs will cost inflation. [7:07] It just came out with the best inflation report we've had in years. [7:11] And lots of cash to back 1776. [7:19] Right. [7:23] $1,776 goes to our military. [7:27] You know, its $1,777. [7:28] seven hundred and seventy five and that was the number you know that was just a lump i said you [7:35] know if we had one dollar we got 1776 somebody said that's genius i said well i'm smart i said [7:46] for one dollar and i'll get these ladies who are loaded with money to pay for it from north carolina [7:51] their husbands can write a check in two seconds take care of it no think of it for one dollar [7:57] more they said i can't believe we didn't think of that only hours ago i left a meeting at the [8:03] white house where we cut the cost of prescription drugs by 300 400 500 and even 600 and i'm doing [8:13] what no politician of either party has ever done before standing up to the special interests and [8:18] demanding lower prices for the american people this is what we've done you know [8:22] it's called favored nations and nations all over the world were screwing us [8:28] we would [8:29] have prices that were 10 times higher than the prices they were charging in london and in [8:37] paris and all over all over the world we had the highest prices for drugs because we had [8:42] politicians that wouldn't i did it in the beginning at the first but then we had a thing [8:47] called you know what happened covet and it was sort of hard to go after france and italy say [8:54] listen on top of all your covert all over the place with everyone dying we want you to pay [8:58] a lot of money for drugs you can't do it [9:00] but we did it and we nobody's ever even thought of doing it before i've negotiated and [9:05] really did it directly with 17 of the world's largest drug companies as well as foreign nations [9:11] that were taking advantage of your country for decades many decades for years americans have [9:18] been paying the highest drug prices anywhere in the world by far 10 times more sometimes [9:24] 15 times more while other countries pay drastically less for the exact same drug made in the United States [9:30] the exact same plant in the exact same country but under my most favored nation you know what [9:37] that means it's a legal term drug pricing executive order i just i just signed a couple of months ago [9:46] and is now being implemented we have declared that the united states will now pay the same [9:53] price as the lowest price of any country anywhere in the world and we should honestly this is the [10:08] biggest thing to happen in medicine i think since the founding of our country you know i don't mind [10:14] they actually have a great location you know we've had people that look so good behind me [10:22] that some of them went to hollywood and actually did very well you know see they may have a better [10:29] location but nobody's going to hollywood they can only see the back of your head look at all the [10:34] television look at all those cameras it's crazy but we uh we did something nobody's [10:41] ever done before nobody's tried nobody thought they could do it don't forget the bigger the drug [10:46] companies turned out to really do the right thing they really did but and they were there at the [10:52] white house today you saw some of the biggest companies in the world were there the rest of [10:55] them are coming next week but the big problem was foreign countries they would have to take their [11:01] drug and raise it from ten dollars to twenty dollars to thirty dollars maybe to a hundred [11:07] dollars maybe ten times more but it really doesn't work that way because the world is [11:12] a bigger place than the u.s and so you're not going to have to raise it that much but you have [11:17] to raise it and they always said for 50 years they say let the united states pay and for 50 years the [11:24] united states got screwed because we're paying so much more drug that was selling for ten dollars in [11:31] london sells for 130 that's 13 times more in new york 13 times or so 10 in london 130 in new york [11:42] and now that drug will go up for the other country from ten dollars to only twenty dollars or maybe [11:51] thirty dollars and will come down from the united states of america to twenty dollars from 130 dollars [11:59] think of that think of that that's the biggest price reduction when you talk about you talk about [12:10] cutting prices cutting costs and cutting prices you talk about affordability you know the democrats [12:18] got us into the mess they're the ones that caused the high prices and then they come out and they [12:23] look and they look at those fake news people but they this election's about affordability [12:31] they go let's talk about it no i'd rather not talk about it because they can't they're the [12:35] ones that cause they cause the highest inflation in the history of our country which led to the [12:40] highest prices in the history of our country i inherited the mess i got the prices down and [12:45] they're going down still further look at gasoline a lot of areas now in our country [12:50] 199 a gallon it costs these ladies from north these beautiful friends of mine from north carolina [13:02] it cost them like one third to get here than it would have cost under sleepy joe biden right if [13:11] you drive you this time you can drive first time you didn't have to take an airplane but we had [13:16] nine blockbuster buster agreements we had nine of them with the big drug companies just today [13:21] the rest are coming over the next couple of weeks but the first dramatic drug discounts will be [13:27] all americans starting on january at a thing called trump rx.gov trump rx.gov but this is [13:37] the biggest thing ever to happen on drug prices pharmaceutical prices and it will also tremendously [13:44] return it's going to reduce the cost of health care because health care is probably 50 about [13:49] drugs right your drugs are coming down at levels that nobody ever thought was possible this [13:56] achievement alone should win us the midterms you know [14:00] we did nothing else i said today i said you know you're talking about [14:04] like this massive reduction in drug prices that affects everybody older people younger people [14:11] middle-aged people sick people well people it's not just like patients it's everybody [14:18] it can never happen nobody would ever have done this it was very hard to do i had countries [14:23] laughing at me i said listen you're gonna have to double and triple your drug prices [14:29] they said france as an example [14:31] uk european union they said uh you must be kidding they've had low prices for years the drug [14:41] companies would go could you pay more no no charge you know they they wanted the drug companies in [14:46] all fairness to charge the united states of america and they made up all sorts of crap well [14:52] research and development i said well what about research and development why aren't they paying [14:56] also for research well it just never worked that way they used to use remember research and [15:00] development that's why we pay more [15:03] i say 12 times more why for research and development it was all a con job but i'd say to [15:10] the head of france as an example i'm sorry but you're gonna have to double or triple your [15:15] prices for drugs no no no we will not do that oh yes you will i said yes you will [15:22] no no no we will not do that of course we will not i can't do that i said yes you will no i won't [15:30] yes you will and he said why do you have such certainty [15:36] i said because if you don't do it i'm going to charge you a 25 tariff on everything you sell into [15:41] america and i said because that was really the sticking point they just would do it they told [15:54] the drug companies for years we're not doing it we're keeping that pill at ten dollars we're not [15:59] going to raise it and the drug companies said well you know it's unfair i mean they're paying [16:05] they're paying 10 times more sometimes 15 times more that's okay let it pay more we're not paying [16:13] more than that the prices will suck for you [16:15] years and no president did anything about it sleepy joe biden didn't know he was alive [16:23] the last thing he cared about the last thing he cared about was this [16:28] he didn't care about anything just wanted to make it through but but they cheated look he [16:36] was surrounded by radical asked me why are you so certain why would you say that i would [18:01] quadruple the price of drugs in france or some place i said because if you don't we're going to [18:07] charge you a 25 tariff said you have a deal [18:28] he's a nice guy too but you can't blame him you know it's been 40 50 years you can't blame him [18:43] but it was the same conversation with everybody no no no we can't do that no no i don't i cannot [18:48] double the price of my drugs i said no no maybe triple or quadruple but it's still much lower [18:55] than we were playing you know we were paying a number that was crazy 13 14 times more [19:00] as president i'm also taking in the gigantic health insurance companies that have gotten rich [19:07] and i want the money to go directly to the people i want the money to be paid directly to the people [19:12] so that they can buy their own health insurance which will give far better benefits at much lower [19:17] cost by the way what i told you about buying the drugs at this massive dollar discount it's like [19:24] from where it is that's going to have a huge impact on the cost of of health care the current [19:31] unaffordable care act commonly known as barack obama [19:38] hussein obamacare was created to make insurance companies rich [19:49] bad health care at much too higher cost and you see now that the steep increase in premiums it's [19:56] being demanded by the democrats it was never any good obamacare it was done for the benefit [20:02] of insurance companies which totally control the democrats that's why you could have a strike on [20:08] january 30th you could have another shutdown because the democrats are totally [20:14] in the hands of they're totally controlled by the insurance companies big wealthy companies [20:20] again i want the money to go directly to the people so you can buy your own health care [20:24] and you'll get much better health care at a much lower price and the only losers will be the [20:36] insurance companies that have gotten rich how about these companies some of them have gone up [20:43] 400 percent their stock prices one i think went up seventeen hundred percent how many people have [20:50] ever bought a stock that went up seventeen hundred percent [20:52] And, think of it, they've taken in billions and billions of dollars. [21:00] And the Democrat Party is also just, look, I don't know what they're gonna do because [21:07] I don't know how anybody beats us when we say that we want the money to go to the people [21:10] so you can buy your own health care. [21:12] How could it ever be better than that? [21:14] I wanted to do that at the beginning in 2016. [21:18] But the politicians told me, sir, don't worry, I was a little bit inexperienced, I've never [21:24] done this before. [21:25] Now I'm quite experienced, I've seen things that nobody would have thought possible. [21:30] But I said then, I said, why do we have this crazy Obamacare, or as we call it, the unaffordable, [21:37] isn't that a great name, the Affordable Care Act, I call it the Unaffordable Care Act. [21:44] I should get credit, that's a good one. [21:45] What's better, that or fake news, that or Pocahontas, that? [21:51] I can't use the names that I used on the Republicans to gain access to the election. [21:58] But we had some good names, didn't we? [22:00] But I think the Unaffordable Care Act is pretty good. [22:02] The UCA, right, you know, they keep talking about the ACA. [22:09] Think of that. [22:10] Instead of the ACA, we call it the UCA. [22:12] The UCA, they say, what is that? [22:15] The Unaffordable Care Act, that is unaffordable. [22:18] But it was always no good. [22:19] But now it's really gone, with time, it gets worse. [22:30] Just let the money not go to the insurance companies. [22:33] The problem is the Democrats will shut down the government, because they are totally beholden. [23:19] But that's okay with me, because you, the hardworking citizens, and finally you're going [23:23] to have great healthcare at the right price, so you're going to have it. [23:27] Although today I did suggest one thing, because when I was watching these big drug companies [23:31] get up and talk about things, they were giving free medicine, and I mean, they couldn't have [23:36] been nicer, they couldn't have been better, and they were, you know, giving us a hard [23:39] time a while ago, but it worked out good, I said, you know what I'm going to do? [23:42] I'm going to call these insurance companies. [23:45] The fat cats. [23:48] They are fat cats. [23:49] I'm going to call the insurance companies, and I'm going to set up a meeting with them, [23:54] all of them, and maybe I'll have the same luck that we had with the health companies, [23:59] with the pharmaceuticals and the drug companies that we had. [24:03] So rather than just saying we're not going to deal, maybe they'll give us a deal, like [24:06] cut the price by 50%, and maybe then it starts to make sense, so I'm going to meet with them. [24:20] Because I work all the time, so I'll either meet in Florida, or I'll meet in Washington [24:26] the first week after, right after we all come back to going to our wonderful jobs, and I'll [24:33] sit down with, it's like 12, 13 people, you know, it's basically these big monster companies, [24:38] 13, 14 if I want to be generous, get 14 people in a room, and let's see what happens. [24:53] They want to give, they're giving free drugs to, I mean, they've been unbelievable. [24:58] But they do love our country. [25:07] Over the past 11 months, we have brought more positive change to Washington than any administration [25:13] in the history of our country. [25:15] That's true.
