And the best thing and the biggest thing that we're doing is we're building a ballroom [14:11] and a tremendous military center that was supposed to be top secret, but it's no longer top secret, [14:17] because no matter what you do, you get sued. They sue because they think the ballroom is too big. [14:23] The ballroom is too small. I don't like the color of the ceiling. We don't like, you know, [14:29] you just get sued. In this world, we're living, especially if your name is Trump, you get sued [14:34] and you get sort of good at it after a while. It becomes routines ridiculous. But we're building [14:41] something the likes of which we'll never be even close to being competed with. The ballroom is [14:47] going up to there. You see, it's the hardest part is now completed. The base and it's rising, [14:53] very substantially rising. And when it's done, you know, the most you can see it is about 93 people [15:00] in the White House. It was always a problem. For 150 years, they've wanted a ballroom to be built. We [15:07] don't have a ballroom in the White House. We have a room that's a little bit large, but it's not a ballroom. [15:12] It's a very small room. We had King Charles here. Everybody wanted to be here. We couldn't hold [15:18] anybody. But soon you'll be able to. It'll be, I think it's going to be one of the most beautiful [15:22] structures in Washington when it's completed. And I've done many ballrooms and this will be, [15:28] there won't be anything to compete with this anywhere in the country. And that's what it should have. [15:33] And it'll use it exclusively only for the White House. But it's really what it should have. When you [15:38] have heads of state, it's also able to hold the inauguration. You know, we had the inauguration [15:47] was so cold that when you have January 20th, it's so cold, the weather, that generally the first time [15:52] we got by with it, it was good. It was, you know, like 34 degrees. But the last time it was below zero. [16:00] And you weren't able. So we use the Capitol. And it's a very small space. It's not safe. It's not, [16:06] you know, it's not, they didn't have drones in mind when they built it. They didn't have other [16:11] things in mind either. But we were able to get 921 people in. And this will hold many times that [16:20] numbers of people without the tables as seats. And bulletproof, drone proof, missile proof in many [16:29] cases, and beautiful at the same time. And a big military component, including on the roof, [16:36] a drone port. Can you believe we have a drone port? And it's like no other. So we're doing a [16:43] great service. It's great national security. We also take care of a need. Every president said, [16:49] this is crazy. I'm sure that many of you along with me attended. We would have a presidential [16:57] ceremony of some kind or had heads of state would come in. For instance, President Xi is coming here in [17:03] the toward the end of September 24th, I believe. And what we need is a big ballroom. We could hold [17:14] thousands of people to see him. Everyone wants to see him. Same thing with King Charles, [17:19] same thing with a lot of the leaders of countries. And now we're going to have a place the likes of [17:24] which no country has. I was in the Great Hall of China recently four weeks ago when I was in China. [17:31] They have a very large ballroom, beautiful ballroom. We don't have that. But we're going to have one [17:36] that tops everything. It won't even be closed. The beauty of it and the size will be great. [17:42] So it's exciting. And that'll be done. Actually, I will get to use it. You know, [17:46] people say he's building it for himself. I'll be using it. I'll be lucky if I get six months, [17:51] because it'll be done toward the middle of 28. So I'm really building it for other presidents, [17:58] but it'll give them great safety. Glass windows that are this thick that can withstand any form of [18:06] shot, rifle, drone, anyone, nothing gets through steel walls, steel ceiling, extra strength. I mean, [18:16] it's really an amazing thing. And yet, all of that security made it more beautiful because you have [18:21] very thick walls, very powerful walls, very beautiful. We've actually taken security and made [18:28] it a beautiful thing. It looks like it was built from 700 years ago. Like when I went to England, [18:36] we went to Windsor Castle. It's the longest building I've ever seen. I said to Charles, [18:44] it was built around like 900. You know, it was a long time. But I said to Charles, [18:53] who built this? This place is incredible. William the Conqueror. I said, oh, [18:59] William the Conqueror. Was he a nice man? Charles said, no, no, he was extremely strong and very [19:06] tough. Just one year into a 10-year project, we see that European [27:29] allies and Canada are already investing around 4% of their GDP in defense and security. This includes [27:39] major increases to allies' investments in core defense, as well as their defense and security-related [27:46] investments. Last year, European allies and Canada spent nearly 20% more on core defense [27:53] than they had the year before. Looking at 2025 and 2026 combined, that's $258 billion in extra [28:05] investments. And the trend continues. President Trump got the 5% last year in The Hague, [28:17] which powers us forward. He said, you did it, sir. You did it. I don't know of any American [28:23] president in the modern era that could have made this possible. And what we accomplished last year [28:28] in The Hague now has to turn into real capabilities. The United States is leading the way. We expect [28:35] others to follow us and follow our lead. And no other president is going to do what I'm doing. It follows the 2025 summit in The Hague and takes place at the Bestep presidential [34:58] complex, also known as just the presidential complex in Ankara. Some of the key details. The [35:04] host, of course, is the Turkish President Erdogan. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte is chairing the [35:10] summit. The participants are heads of state and government from all 32 NATO member states, [35:17] plus key partners. Of course, one of them, President Donald J. Trump for the United States of America. [35:24] So the NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has set three core priorities for the Ankara summit. One, [35:31] defense investment. Two, defense industry. And also, they'll be discussing, of course, Ukraine. That's [35:38] something that NATO discusses a lot. The summit will review progress since The Hague and set a roadmap for [35:45] NATO's key objectives. So we're going to hear from President Trump and also the President of Turkey, [35:51] Erdogan, in just a bit. At eight o'clock Eastern, we're told the President participates in a state [35:57] arrival ceremony and honor guard review. Fifteen minutes after that, the President participates in [36:03] a bilateral meeting with President Erdogan of the Republic of Turkey. We'll have both of those [36:07] events here live on Right Side Broadcasting Network. And we're also seeing in tomorrow's schedule [36:12] that President Trump will be holding a press conference in Turkey tomorrow towards the end of [36:18] the NATO summit. So, of course, a lot of coverage wall-to-wall here on Right Side Broadcasting Network. [36:24] Now, let's do this. President Trump spoke about a number of things recently here domestically. [36:31] Let's go to one of President Trump's True Social posts, clip number three. Referring to a political [36:36] article a few days ago, President Trump had this to say on True Social. [36:40] Republicans, look what I just found. The Democrats are openly stating that they plan to terminate the [36:47] filibuster if they ever take power and expand the Supreme Court. In other words, the President says [36:53] they will add two radical left states, I believe that's D.C. and Puerto Rico, four Democrat senators, [37:00] many congressmen and women, their dream of 21 Supreme Court justices, not just 13, [37:07] an unlucky number, President Trump says here, continuing his post by saying an impossible to [37:13] beat number of electoral college votes. And he says in parentheses, and that's the ball game. [37:19] Popular vote landslides and so much else. The Republican Party will never win another election, [37:26] the President says. And when he said popular vote landslides, it was in quotations or quotes. [37:32] How much longer are you going to allow this to happen to you? This is President Trump speaking to [37:38] the Congressional Republicans. They will terminate the filibuster, the Democrats, [37:42] the President's talking about, in their first hour. And I'll be sitting home with tears in my eyes [37:48] saying, I told you so. So that's from President Trump on True Social. I mean, that's something that [37:53] would be great to see the Republicans do terminate the filibuster. So you can get that simple majority, [38:01] which we do have, and vote for things like the Save America Act and other items from President Trump's [38:07] agenda. Unfortunately, we have, as President Trump says, the Democrats in there, and also some [38:15] Republicans who are just not really supporting or being on the side of We the People. That's just facts. So [38:26] that was referring to a political article just a few days ago, where President Trump was talking about [38:31] that specific post. So that's [55:11] okay. But earlier this morning, many of you joined me in the Oval Office for the ringing of the opening [55:17] bell. And something happened that was incredible. Never happened before. We had the New York Stock [55:24] Exchange and NASDAQ, the top of both. These are great people. But they never did a bell and opening [55:31] together. This is the first time. There's the bell right there. And I said, it's so beautiful. [55:34] I'm not giving it back. I don't know if it's supposed to go back. But they're going to have [55:38] to fight like hell to get it back. We're not giving it back. Do you understand that, Scott? Don't, [55:42] don't let it leave. It's so beautiful. But that's the bell we rang. And that's where the New York Stock [55:50] Exchange and NASDAQ came together, the leadership, brilliant people. And the first time ever, [55:56] we did it together. It was an opening where we did it together. That's in honor of the Trump accounts, [56:00] because we're going to make young children born with no money, in many cases, rich. I think they're [56:07] going to be rich. But I want to thank Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Bessett, Chairman of the SEC. [56:13] These are really tremendous people. Paul Atkins. Scott, stand up. Governors Sarah Huckabee Sanders, [56:39] who worked here very diligently and brilliantly. That's my press secretary. She did a great job. [56:45] Thank you very much, Sarah, wherever you may be. Thank you. Governor Jeff Landry, who called me, [56:52] he says, you know, we have a crime problem. And we had the Mardi Gras. And he said, could you send, [56:59] we want to get rid of the crime, do something, because we have a little bit of a Mardi Gras coming. And [57:06] we have a little bit of a crime problem. And I think you say it was the safest, whereas Jeff, [57:11] the safest that they've ever had. Is that right? Right? In New Orleans. He said it was the best they [57:19] ever had, the safest. And the city crime is down 81%. I wish Chicago would call me. If Chicago would [57:25] call me, I would wipe out crime so fast, would remove the hardcore criminals like I did in Washington, [57:31] D.C., in Memphis, and in New Orleans. We were not just a question of, you know, we're going to have [57:38] big, strong soldiers. That's the least that, well, it's very important. But we removed in Europe, [57:43] places, you know, 2,900 career criminals. Many of them came through the Biden administration's [57:49] stupid open border policy they poured in. And I just want to give a little extra thing. Thanks a lot, [57:56] Jeff. You're doing a fantastic job. And I'm glad you called. But he called me up [58:01] two days ago. And he said, we just had the lowest crime numbers we've had in 50 years, [58:05] 50. And we haven't even finished the job. But they're down like 87, 85%. You'll be down to 90, [58:13] 95%. But we removed the criminals. We took them out. We're not letting them stay because they're [58:19] criminals. And they'll, you know, a great stat that I love, 91% of the crime in cities is caused by 2% of [58:30] the people. I love that because you can handle that. You can get rid of the 2%. If it was caused [58:36] by 91%, you got a problem. But 91% of the crime in Washington DC, as an example, was caused by 2.1% [58:46] of the population. These are career, many career criminals, sick people, mental problems, but 2.1% [58:57] in the case of Washington. And we removed from Washington DC 4,212 people permanently removed. [59:04] Many of them were brought back to their countries. Some were put in jail. Many were wanted. We had [59:10] murderers. So we've taken Washington DC crime. We've brought it down 91%. And it's considered [59:18] now one of the safest is we're going to do better than the 91% because 9% is even too much. But [59:23] we're going to bring it back to almost nothing. The only thing we have a hard time stopping is [59:28] a crime of passion. Do you know what that is? Anybody? Was anybody in? This is a group that probably [59:33] knows something about crimes of passion. But the crimes of passion, we can't do much about. Just one of [59:40] those things. But we have Washington is way down. We worked well with the mayor's office. The [59:47] National Guard and our military was unbelievable. And in Washington, restaurants were closing. [59:54] Nobody wanted to eat at restaurants. It was a disaster. When I first came, it was a really, [59:59] they were losing three people a week to murder. Can you imagine 150 people? And I said, wow. And we [1:00:07] really put it into gear. And now we don't have murders. I mean, you have, I guess, but not much. [1:00:14] And people are safe. And restaurants are thriving. You can't get, if you're an entrepreneur or a [1:00:20] restaurateur, you can't get a restaurant. There's nothing available. The restaurants are packed. [1:00:26] They used to go in and rob the restaurants that, you know, they wouldn't, you'd feel safe in a restaurant. [1:00:32] It was like the old wild west. They'd say, stick them up, give me your money. The whole restaurant is [1:00:36] handing them money. And now if that, if that ever happened, those people would be in deep trouble, [1:00:41] deep, deep. We, we hit them very hard. And we have tremendous military people involved. And they [1:00:49] do the trick. And that's what happened with Jeff, with Louisiana. That's what's happened with [1:00:54] Memphis, Tennessee, where the governor also called me. He said, Memphis, I mean, FedEx was going to [1:00:59] move. And now they called me the other day. They said, you've made it a safe city. I've never seen. [1:01:03] People have never seen anything like it. Washington, DC, every day, somebody says, [1:01:08] thank you. I know immediately what they're saying. Young women that walk to work at White [1:01:15] House, they used to take Uber and they felt unsafe because the Uber car was robbed and dangerous. [1:01:21] They'd shoot people. That doesn't happen anymore. And the girls are working to work. And the young [1:01:27] guys are walking to work. And the older guys, if they can walk, they walk. Half of them can't walk [1:01:34] because they made too much money. A lot of these guys here, they can't walk, but they're rich as hell. [1:01:39] But it's such a tribute. And I just wish that I'd get a call from the governor of Illinois, [1:01:49] as an example, or the mayor of Chicago. Sir, we've had a, they've had a horrible three weeks, [1:01:55] by the way. Many people shot, many people killed, and they just don't want to call. [1:02:01] They have to call. All they have to do is say, sir, we need help. I'll straighten it out so fast. [1:02:06] San Francisco. I wish they'd call. You know, you have a mayor there who's a Democrat, [1:02:12] but he's a good person. He's trying hard. But I told a couple of the very rich people living in [1:02:16] San Francisco. They wanted me to give him a chance. And I said, all right, I'll give him a chance. [1:02:20] But he can't do the job because he can't remove people like us. We have the law on our side. We can [1:02:25] remove murderers. You know, under the Biden Open Border Policy, 11,888 murders were allowed into our [1:02:33] country. They're living in a place near you. But I've gotten rid of most of them have been either [1:02:38] removed or we put them in jail. We've caught and caught most of them. But they came in through [1:02:42] an open border. They came in through prisons, mental institutions, drug dealers. You have no [1:02:48] idea the drug dealers that came in under Biden. Open border. Nobody checked. They just walk in. [1:02:54] And you could look at some of them. You could say, this is trouble. And they'd walk into our country. [1:02:59] We remove them. And I wish Los Angeles. I wish Gavin Newsom would call me. I wish Governor Pritzker [1:03:06] would call me. I wish the governor of New York would call me. They have tremendous crime and [1:03:11] all of them. And they would have they would go just like Washington. We have the men. We have [1:03:17] unlimited number of great men. You know, one of the things we one of the many things we got was from [1:03:24] the Supreme Court of the United States. You know, we went against merit. Merit had no place in our [1:03:32] country. And the president talking about a number of those governors from those blue states. It would [1:03:40] be great to see the National Guard in various cities across this land. We already see it in DC. We see [1:03:47] the the gain of safety, security there with the National Guard. Again, from the right side of [1:03:54] history, that angle, not from some tyrannical, you know, dictator type saying we're going to make the [1:03:59] military come into your city. It's not like that. It's simply to cut down on the crime that's [1:04:05] happening. Unfortunately, as you guys remember back in the Biden era, there was how many millions of [1:04:12] illegal immigrants, illegal aliens just pouring into the country. So we have to secure our border, [1:04:18] which already has happened thanks to President Trump, but also really the National Guard to really [1:04:23] help with those that are here. And whether they're illegal or not, just crime being cut down. We're [1:04:30] seeing that in DC. We're seeing that in Memphis, Tennessee, and it would be great to see that in [1:04:35] LA, Chicago, and the list goes on. But of course, the blue towns, they kind of like all the chaos, [1:04:44] don't they? Unfortunately, it's awful to see that. [1:41:51] is that not part of the deal what is the third one with respect to what [1:42:28] is there's our concerns about the russian missile defense system do you have those concerns about [1:42:33] the system are they going to have to concerns at all about anything he's a leader of a country that [1:42:40] he's made a much better country a much more powerful country and you see it it's beautiful [1:42:45] amazing thing now i have no concerns about anything having to do with turkey the relationship [1:42:53] i would say the relationship with turkey right now is better probably than it's ever been it was good [1:42:58] in my first four years but i think now it's probably even better than that if that's possible [1:43:03] mr president so u.s military and turkish military constitute a really strong and large military [1:43:14] base for nato are we expecting further defense cooperation out of this bilateral meeting out [1:43:19] of this nato summit here in ankara i'm going to find out when i go there we're going to find out [1:43:23] we're going to be having meetings they're very friendly with many of the leaders some of them [1:43:28] are new we don't know them you know i've been doing this for now sort of a long time if you count the [1:43:35] four years when we had a regular election you know i was very much into politics then too [1:43:40] but i spent the first four years i spent four years in a little different state and then we had [1:43:49] we've had an amazing probably the best year maybe ever had by an american president when you look at [1:43:56] the economy we have the greatest economy we've ever had with 19 trillion dollars 19.2 trillion dollars [1:44:03] to be exact being invested in the united states that's seven or eight times more than it's ever [1:44:09] it's it's a world record not just the u.s record and i just read where in fact coming over i was just [1:44:17] given i was in the car with those beautiful horses of great riders those great soldiers and [1:44:22] it came over the wires that toyota is moving out of mexico into the united states and building one [1:44:30] of the biggest truck and car plants ever built and it's amazing that's what tariffs do properly used [1:44:38] and so we've never had a more exceptional economy or potential economy there's never been anything like [1:44:46] under the last administration they did much less than a trillion dollars of investment coming in [1:44:53] and we're at 19.2 trillion in actually the first 12 months because that's where it's you know [1:45:00] really so we're there a year and a half so that number is now substantially higher but [1:45:04] 19.2 trillion scott for a period of 12 months nobody's ever said anything like that so [1:45:11] so we have by far the greatest economy we have more jobs right now in the united states than ever [1:45:17] before and we have a great relationship with some countries on trade and turkey happens to be one of [1:45:23] thingsobροunus [1:45:25] one of our Sindible [1:45:28] nelle [1:45:28] is [1:45:30] we matter the [1:45:37] is [1:45:38] how you can see [1:45:40] pires pacified [1:45:40] ship [1:45:42] you are [1:45:43] who did possible be [1:45:44] ... [1:49:24] But they've been very instrumental along with a couple of other countries of helping them. [1:49:29] They could have gotten into the fight. [1:49:32] And I hear some people saying about their relationship with Israel. [1:49:36] They could have gotten into the fight. [1:49:38] They're a very powerful military nation. [1:49:41] They didn't do that. [1:49:42] Maybe they didn't do that because of me. [1:49:44] But they could have gotten into the fight on the other side. [1:49:49] They are a nation that's been very, very good. [1:49:54] And I can only, I can speak for myself as president. [1:49:57] They've been extraordinary in many ways with respect to our relationship, [1:50:02] including trying to end the war with Iran, or whatever you call it. [1:50:07] It's not even a war, it's a military operation. [1:50:10] It's a denuclearization. [1:50:12] That's really what it is, of Iran, because I don't think he wants to see them have a nuclear weapon either. [1:50:17] I'm pretty sure of that. [1:50:19] In fact, I'm totally sure of that. [1:51:24] But I think there's something, you know, I settled eight wars, and I think we're going to be settling a night. [1:51:31] It doesn't seem likely now, but sometimes when, with war, I see when it's least likely, that's when it happens. [1:51:38] I had a very good talk with President Putin. [1:51:40] I had a very good talk with, I would say, as a combination. [1:51:43] A lot of times I'd do well with Putin, and Zelensky would be a problem, or vice versa. [1:51:49] Zelensky would be great, and Putin would be. [1:51:52] They both want to get it settled now. [1:51:55] That's all I do in my life is deals. [1:51:57] I know deals. [1:51:58] And I think they are going to, I think we're going to get it settled, hopefully soon. [1:52:05] Last month, 35,000 mostly soldiers died. [1:52:11] The month before that, it was 24,000. [1:54:38] Again, I didn't put a heavy press on her. [1:54:42] But she refused to get involved with the Hormone Strait. [1:54:46] Or you could also say just Iran. [1:54:49] She refused to get involved. [1:54:50] So it soured by relationship with her a little bit. [1:54:54] But I like it. [1:54:55] I think she's a nice person, actually. [1:54:56] But I think she made a mistake. [1:54:58] You know, they get a lot of their oil from them. [1:55:00] We don't get any of them. [1:55:01] We have a lot of oil. [1:55:02] The United States has more oil than anybody. [1:55:05] And when you add Venezuela to it, it's like we have far more oil than anybody. [1:55:09] We don't need the restraints. [1:55:11] We do this because we think it's an important thing to do. [1:55:15] She just wasn't there for us. [1:55:18] And I wasn't happy about that. [1:55:20] You can imagine. [1:55:21] I wasn't happy about that. [1:55:22] Mr. President, you seem to express optimism that a deal between Russia and Ukraine is closed. [1:55:27] Why do you think that? [1:55:28] What conditions have changed? [1:55:30] Did Putin seem... [1:55:31] About what? [1:55:32] Russian Ukraine. [1:55:33] Did Putin seem open to any concessions that he had? [1:55:35] Never changed. [1:55:36] I just don't want him killing people. [1:55:38] You know, it doesn't affect the United States. In other news, the RNC [2:11:21] Midterm National Convention will be held, of course, on September 9th and 10th of this year [2:11:26] in Dallas, Texas at the American Airlines Center. I've been there before for a Dallas Stars hockey [2:11:32] game. And I can say that at that game, I remember the national anthem. Everybody there in the arena, [2:11:40] it was against the St. Louis Blues, I remember to this day, because I like hockey. I've been to a [2:11:45] number of arenas. I've heard the national anthem in New York, in Buffalo, specifically New York City [2:11:50] and in Buffalo, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Colorado, Los Angeles. The list goes on. Montreal, because they [2:11:57] were playing, it was the Rangers and Canadians. I'm getting on a bunny trail here. But let me get back [2:12:01] to the story. Usually at the hockey games, the national anthem, you know, the crowd still [2:12:06] chants and boos and it's just a ruckus crowd. But in Dallas, every single person, every fan there at [2:12:14] this playoff game had their hands on their hearts and sang the national anthem. I just remember that [2:12:20] to this day. It's great to see the various fans, how they do what they do. And in Chicago, everybody [2:12:26] sings and claps and cheers at the beginning of the Blackhawk games. Anyway, enough of that. [2:12:32] But we do know, again, I've been talking about that midterm national convention for the RNC for [2:12:37] quite some time. For several months, I've been like, when is this going to be? Where is it going [2:12:42] to be? And why would I be so fascinated with it? Well, because this has never happened before. [2:12:47] Usually the RNC conventions are just during those presidential cycles. Well, this time, [2:12:52] there's a midterm RNC national convention in Dallas in September. Huge event, huge event going [2:13:00] into the midterms. Anyway, so we'll see that coverage, of course, throughout. Also, outside of [2:13:06] that, let's go to President Trump speaking on True Social just a few days ago, clip number three, [2:13:13] referring to a political article saying, quote, Republicans, look what I just found. He's referring [2:13:19] to this political article. The Democrats are openly stating that they plan to terminate the filibuster [2:13:25] if they ever get power or ever take power and expand the Supreme Court. In other words, [2:13:33] they will add two radical left states. Most likely that would be D.C. becoming a state, [2:13:38] Puerto Rico becoming a state, four Democrat senators, many congressmen, women, and their dream of 21 [2:13:46] Supreme Court justices. Not just 13, the president says, an unlucky number. An impossible to beat number [2:13:52] of electoral college votes. And the president says, and that's the ballgame. He says, quote, [2:13:58] unquote, popular vote landslides and so much else. The Republican Party will never win another election, [2:14:04] the president said. This was on July 3rd. How much longer are you going to allow this to happen to you? [2:14:10] They will terminate the filibuster in their first hour. And I'll be sitting home with tears in my eyes [2:14:16] saying, quote, I told you so, end quote. President Trump talking about that political article. [2:14:23] And I think, you know, referencing terminating the filibuster so we can pass what? What would we want [2:14:30] to pass right now that is very important? The Save America Act. But it doesn't look like the [2:14:37] Republicans are going to nuke the filibuster. And instead, we may have some problems coming up [2:14:44] in our country. It's called the Save America Act for a reason, right? So anyway, just seeing it and [2:14:50] calling it how it is. And great to see President Trump speaking about it like usual when it comes [2:14:55] to the Save America Act indirectly through that post.
