[0:00] The FBI busting a terror plot to attack President Trump's UFC event, using explosives drones to [0:06] create panic, and then herd people into a kill zone where a sniper's nest would open fire. [0:11] More than 4,000 people were at the White House and around 80,000 at a nearby watch party. [0:17] Five suspects are in custody. You're looking at three of them, [0:20] with more than 10 people total believed to be involved. You're also looking at [0:25] some of the deadly weaponry that they wanted to use to unleash chaos, [0:28] including thousands of rounds of ammunition. Agents say the suspects did their homework with [0:34] aerial maps and photos of locations around the White House. But President Trump's unfazed by yet [0:39] another alleged attempt on his life. Mr. President, were you briefed on the attack [0:46] plans for the UFC event at the White House? The FBI thwarted an attack. I haven't heard about it, [0:54] but I watched. The attack that I watched were the fighters. And he saw it too, by the way. He was [1:01] sitting back home in his beautiful palace, and he was watching it. And they were as good of fights [1:06] as I've ever seen, right? The best fight. The best. They were. That last fight was brutal. [1:12] Did you watch any of the fight? You weren't there, were you? I was there. You were there. Yeah, yeah. No, [1:16] I was there. I watched all the fights. I mean, they had a lot of security there. There was a lot of [1:20] security there. So I was actually, I found out about this, like, the president for the first time [1:23] this morning. And it turns out the plot was, like, not that advanced. They weren't in town. They had not [1:29] really done that much planning. And so I get why people are so fascinated by it. I do think the [1:35] political violence and rhetoric in this country is completely out of control. But thank God we've got [1:40] good law enforcement, good FBI, because it didn't even get close to the point of execution. We're protected. [1:44] Like, we have so many layers of protection. I mean, hell, we have 50, sorry, FCC violation. [1:49] We have 50 Secret Service agents just in this room. But what I do worry about is, like, a lot of [1:55] people could have got hurt if these guys pulled this off. Not in the inner circle, not in the security [2:00] detail protection, but there were 80,000 people. And those are just innocent human beings. They never [2:06] asked to be involved in politics. And the fact that people were targeting them just shows how [2:11] despicable the political violent rhetoric is in this country. [2:13] And an amazing job by the FBI, Kash Patel, again, getting out in front of it so it never [2:18] materialized. [2:19] Yes. And, you know, obviously, we have to be right every single time. They only have to [2:24] be right once. And it wasn't advanced. But there is a strain of the far left that is going down [2:32] the road of becoming America's Hezbollah. And it's not good. It's not good for any of us. It's not good [2:37] for our safety. It's not good for these young people. Look at these guys. Their lives ruined [2:40] because they wanted to participate in a plot to take down the president. And they did have plans. [2:46] I mean, I hope that they throw the book at them and that they get in trouble for a long time. [2:52] They wanted to go after capitalist pigs. They're probably triggered by the SpaceX IPO. [3:00] They probably support Luigi Mangiampo. I had his T-shirts on. And all of that goes back to other [3:06] things that we've seen in the past few years, including Charlie Kirk's murder. And we could go [3:12] on and on from that. The one thing I would maybe just ask is, obviously, this wasn't advanced. [3:18] But with FISA not passed and there's it's opaque. And so you cannot collect that kind of data so that [3:27] we had the open border for four years. So you don't know who all is in the country. Well, hopefully [3:31] we do. But I mean, it's hard to track them all. And then if any of the characters from outside of [3:37] the country are trying to call one of those guys to get them to do something, we need that program. [3:42] Yeah, exactly. So if somebody had been engaged in foreign terrorist activities, communicating with [3:46] these guys, we would actually be kind of blind to it right now because FISA has lapped and FISA has [3:51] expired. I'm a big believer that if you're going to, of course, wiretap an American citizen, you've [3:55] got to have a warrant. But if you have some crazy person outside the country planning a terrorist [4:00] attack, we've got to be able to get access to that information right away. It's one of the reasons why, [4:05] you know, we care so much about this particular program. But here's the crazy thing. Even though [4:10] you're right, like it's not like they were in Washington, D.C. with guns, ready to start lighting [4:16] people up, they had the violent intent and they were planning on doing it. And what matters so [4:21] much is that even though clearly they weren't able to pull it off this time, if we had arrested those [4:25] guys, God knows what would happen a month down the road, three months down the road. The one thing [4:29] I'll say, Dana, is yes, their lives are ruined because they decided to plot a violent attack. [4:33] Looking at their photos, I don't think their lives were in great shape before. Yeah, that's true. [4:37] Unfortunately for them. Another reason, Jessica, you need the big, beautiful ballroom. It's a drone [4:41] port. So you can then launch drones to counter any sort of attack. I hear Jessica's actually a big [4:48] fan of the ballroom. I heard too. Was I improperly briefed, Jessica? You were. And it's the taxpayer [4:54] funded ballroom, just to mention that about a half bit. Listen, this has been a problem for a long [5:00] time and just growing exponentially. So Obama got three times the number of threats and 11 [5:07] incredible assassination plots. Then it went up under Trump. I think Biden had some, but not as [5:13] much. And then Trump again. So obviously we have a real problem with this. And I think also the [5:18] amount of conspiracy theorists and conspiracy theories that are flying around on the left [5:24] and the right when things like this do happen, like Butler, for instance, or even what we saw at [5:29] the White House Correspondents' Dinner, where people thought that that was staged, is such an unhealthy [5:33] place for us to be as a country. I think part of that is, you know, more transparency and making [5:39] sure that people know what's actually going on. And then also people in positions of power doing the [5:44] right thing and coming out. Like, I appreciate that you said this actually wasn't that far along, [5:48] right? Like we were safe and the event was safe because I think that people do want to, [5:52] you know, mix it up, stir it up. They want that algorithm to be juiced in, you know, whatever partisan [5:57] direction you're in. And for it to turn into President Trump almost died or, you know, Obama almost died, [6:03] et cetera.
