InArt's Best Figure? Man of Steel Superman & Ekuaz Nurse Joker First Look!

[00:00:00] Speaker 1: in our collectibles has started this thursday with a bang the man of steel superman the figure that many collectors have been clamoring and waiting for with high anticipation is finally arrived it is not licensed worldwide we're going to discuss that in just a little bit you're going to have to get it through one six kit which we'll talk about i have a code for you guys and there's actually an equas studios nurse joker they created barbosa previously which is an amazing sort of all-time great figure particularly for an unlicensed company it's fantastic nurse joker i'm a little bit conflicted i have some reservations about it which we're going to talk about here in a sec guys before we get started make sure to like the video down below subscribe to the channel and of course click the notification bell so that way you are notified when content goes live here that said let's go ahead and start with this cavil superman man of steel let me just say right off the bat this is a much better figure than the bvs superman that was released maybe like a year or two ago it hasn't been that long and i think we have substantial market upgrades here that are going to be worth it for collectors who really love cavil superman let me just start off right off the bat by saying wow this head sculpt is incredible it is very very good no notes i really do think it's like a 9.5 to 10 out of 10 head sculpt i have gotten some messages from collectors about the suit i have been told by inart that it is based on the color graded version of the suit that's what they've designed their figure based off and it is a brand new body and new head sculpt which is fantastic for all those collectors out there who want new things and don't want reused parts i think that's the majority of us so i think it's fantastic that they uh inart has done something new here you get two head sculpts one with a slightly more angry look one with a more stoic look and either way it's going to look fantastic in your collection you do get a bus to display with this figure i'm going to compare uh the offering overall to the film as well and of course compared to bbs here in a sec but i just want to start with just looking at the figure itself here's the bus that you get with the figure as well this is great this is very much statue like and i'm glad that inart is pulling out their queen studios resume and saying you know what it's cool to have a bus that you can display with the figure if you want to display both head sculpts but you don't have two figures two copies of the figure so either way this is fantastic look this photography by the way is fantastic as is the lighting but the figure itself is very very strong this is one of inart's best head sculpts i've seen in quite some time i think it's one of their best head sculpts ever as far as far as prototypes are concerned we've seen some amazing prototypes from inart but this one certainly is up there amongst the best you can see this has sculpted hair not rooted hair for shorter hair characters inart is very clearly going straying away from rooted hair figures which i'm fine with i i think it's okay i mean i think rooted hair figures are meant for longer hair characters or more messy hairstyle characters where rooted would take that figure to the next level whereas i don't think rooted would really do all that much here except add to the cost of the figure this looks fantastic i really like the suit you guys have to let me know your thoughts in the comment section but i do believe this is from what they told me a brand new body brand new suit and of course a brand new head sculpt so it's a brand new day if you will biggest opening of all time which is pretty fantastic love the movie it's a it's a 10 out of 10 grail either way guys let's go ahead and showcase it next to some shots of the film so i pulled a shot from the film here the closest that i could find they're looking in opposite directions but you get the general gist here i think this is very good this is a very good figure representation again the suit looks a little bit different as you can see in the photography compared to the color grade version which has a little bit darker of a tone and i think that's fine i really do like this i like the look it has a more like dark blue look compared to the other one which is uh i'm not great with describing colors but i would say it has a lighter blue tone to it like i don't know i don't know what like i know what the exact color he would be you guys have to know in the comment section i think it looks great though i really do like the the interpretation there with what they've done you can see he actually has the handcuffs on in this photo which is pretty interesting but i think the head sculpt and the proportions i think are the biggest thing for me personally and they nailed both of those and the suit i'm fine with the color graded version i think it looks great you know for those who are uh disappointed let me know in the comment section what you think in our should change but i really do like this overall again i'm not the biggest cavill superman guy but i do recognize a great figure when i see one and i actually may end up keeping this figure because it's actually that good and man of steel i i do like i thought it was like an average film at the time but i've come to appreciate a little bit more over time and i might actually give it a rewatch before this one actually comes in for review so let's compare it real quick to the bvs superman because i i wanted this was a little bit tougher because some of the photography for the bvs uh in art figure was like it was like like hyper close-ups and i was like damn like move the camera back like it was very very close and it made it like awkward to get a portrait style comparison here so i have one that's the best that i could do with what the available photography was for me and you could see here i think there's a very significant upgrade i think you see i personally see a very much stronger likeness on the left hand side to man of steel superman than i do on the bbs right version to henry cavill in that film again i'm projecting 375 dollars i have nothing to base this on nothing to speculate on i'm just going off gut instinct i think this is probably going to be like 375 that's again i tend to overestimate it might be under that but you got the bust you got the second head sculpt i think it might be around that range the original was 360 so i think you add 15 maybe even more i think that sounds about right this is not licensed worldwide by the way it's only licensed in a few territories like i think china and australia and new zealand so you're gonna have to get this through one six kit most likely check the in our website but i'll have a code for you guys it'll be posted in the comment section and in the description of the video it just will cavill ten dollars off one six kit make sure to use that code and save yourself some money i'll post it when the pre-order goes live which the pre-order should go live i believe tomorrow uh usually it's like 8 a.m so it should be tomorrow sometime but anyway i see a big upgrade here i like the suit on this one a bit better and again the the blue obviously is very different from suit to suit but i do actually like the one on the left a bit more and i love the head sculpt much more i had that superman for quite some time and i really did like it but i think this one is this one is like next level i would say so let me know your thoughts on the superman in the comment section below we're going to move on to our next figure here we got a sort of out of the blue announcement so the equus studio nurse joker so you have rooted hair here you have a seamless body which you can buy separate on one six kit this is an unlicensed third-party figure equus is not a licensed company so it is one where you want to factor that into the equation you know again the barbosa they delivered is fantastic it's like an all-time great figure i don't think as far as prototypes go that this one meets that quality joker's head sculpt looks like it could use a little bit of work i think equus also did a really good job with the squid guards from squid game and you can see there's the custom body that you can buy separate one six kit is selling this body for like 95 i think it's actually a great deal whether you want to get this body for a nurse joker or something else and that's a really good deal for a custom body that's full silicone like that at 95 that yeah that's actually a very quality buy you can see the display base the hands the shoes the guns uh the medical documents and of course the the trigger to set off the bomb in the hospital i think i'm probably going to have the mask on this guy to cover up most of the face because i just don't think the head sculpt is anywhere close to as good as it should be again when you're looking at the uh hot toys new versions the jnd version and then you see this one it's like yes they did the hair well but i don't think they did the sculpt well this sculpt certainly needs refinement and i think they should go back to the drawing board honestly and try to fix it uh it's it's just not quite there to the level that needs to be considering this is like 320 some dollars shipped out the door it's like 315 with the code um well actually no sorry i tried to get a code for this one my apologies but i was unable to because uh you know kit was not able to give codes on every figure just because he said the margins are a little bit lower on this one so i found a behind the scenes photo of the nurse joker from the dark knight and i found this really interesting because just looking at heath ledger again not the most high quality photo compared to this version on the right from equas again i think i think it kind of just reaffirmed what i already believe i'm like this is not a great sculpt honestly um i i really do think the body is great and i think that they did something really special in creating a figure that you know a lot of people have wanted for a very long time i will also say that you're not going to get this license it's not possible in art has already confirmed that uh this the heat ledger estate or warner bros someone does not want this figure made so it is not going to be a licensed figure at any time you're not going to be able to get it so if you want one this would be your opportunity to grab one uh and i think it's a pretty decent quality overall but again you're paying 325 for a figure that doesn't really have a great head sculpt so i'm a little conflicted on it if i'm being honest i think maybe you could put a hot toys or an inart sculpt on it but we don't know yet we don't know whether the body's going to be compatible whether the skin tones are going to match there's a lot of questions we have more questions than answers and i do think people are just super excited to get a nurse joker but i don't want them to jump in sort of hastily hastily and then you know uh not get a great figure in the end so aquas does have a good track record i agree and the hair looks good but i don't think the sculpt looks good so you guys have to let me know your thoughts in the comments section i'll bring it up on one six kit you have to be logged in uh by the way just to be able to get this figure you can see they're selling the body separate it's like 95 shipped it's a really great deal seriously it really is so you can see the pre-order price 324 that's shipped that's great but again no code for this one it's it's it's an expensive figure and um you know i get why it's a fully custom body you got you know of course the rooted hair you got the new head sculpt so i get that i get that but um i'm kind of conflicted if we're being honest i'm not sure if i'm going to pick it up or not i may because you can just put the mask on him and then you're totally fine but you know or maybe you put the hot toys head sculpt on and maybe it works but i kind of want to get this body just because you could use it for other figures right it's kind of great so um but yeah i think you got a nice accessory list here you got the man of steel superman's also great from inart so i think we
