exchange this is a brand new vintage and modern toy shop in minnesota and they do consignment which is really rad i am actually selling in this shop and today was payday i got paid by this guy this is hector he's the owner of cryptoy exchange hey guys it's hector here we [00:00:44] Speaker 2: appreciate all the support and love that the community has given to the store we're going to continue to make this place a fun great place for the collectors to sell and consign their collection so they can get the most for their collection yeah man so i've got some money from selling today [00:01:00] Speaker 1: and the thing is this store has crazy stuff and i want to find something really really cool for my personal collection so hector is going to show me around the shop today we're going to show you inside and we're going to see if we can find one insane grail to add to the earth kid vault i say you want to look around i think we could do that all right man let's go dude i'm excited to see what's new in the shop it's been a couple days since i've been in yeah just just a little preview you haven't seen kong yet so i think you know i think this is what i'm going to pick up right off the bat yeah dude [00:01:35] Speaker 2: this is super gnarly yeah cool story about how you found this thing too yeah definitely um some guy had some guy that built actually rainforest cafe in mall of america it had crazy stuff like the crazy warehouse of this and when i saw kong i needed to have it for the store absolutely it needs to be the centerpiece of the store so cool man well yeah let's get let's get into the uh into the aisles and look around definitely yeah we had some higher end some mafix and mezco stuff come in we have some sideshow hot toys stuff um that whole wall over there is hot toys now and whatnot whoa dude look at this oh man [00:02:10] Speaker 1: i don't think i saw this last time i was in yeah that just came in last week whoa dude that is fresh i've never seen that before that is from pleco toys this looks like 90s or something that's really cool man i will have to consider that i do like i've got some uh some 90s ultraman so fooby right a little bit in the in the collection where you want to start which i'll take a look um start over here we'll be [00:02:42] Speaker 2: right back so this is our transformers wall this is going to get much bigger yeah um this is transformer um alley is going to be alley a couple more more of um we got power rangers over here dragon ball z um and this is going to be our vintage wall vintage alley right here as well nice oh this is so cool [00:03:03] Speaker 1: this is uh i think this is gi joe it's like the um bio viper yeah i can't remember exactly what this is called but this is like that's like the exact kind of thing i'm looking for in my collection the colors on that is so cool dang dude that's cool right yeah man that's really really cool the 90s let me check that out like i remember seeing these in the store when i was a kid yeah 99 dang bro like this is this is like this is peak toys right here piccolo i mean come on that's good that's good that's good stuff man tempting let's keep looking [00:03:50] Speaker 2: so here we just got done with our star wars weekend so we still have some stuff left over from star wars weekend yeah star wars day and actually this is all gonna be slat wall micro machines this stuff right here like this is this is me and my brother's childhood right here the 90s star wars like i welcome in hasbro stuff the micro machines that is so cool so yeah we just got this collection uh i want to say [00:04:29] Speaker 2: two weeks ago and for starters we get that we thought it'd be cool to just kind of give it that old time feel yeah all the sets together on a shelf like this so i had this one right here this is so cool oh and [00:04:42] Speaker 1: this is this is really cool i actually always wanted this when i was a kid because it's kind of like a poly pocket set like a little mini play set oh that is so cool because it's the royal guard and it opens up i love stuff like this where it's like little tiny yes like a miniature play set that can fit in your pocket yeah so whoever section of toys this is this is pretty bad all of this stuff is just this is horrible stuff don't buy any of it this is my section of the store got the wolverine adventure van which i think is a really cool item um i got a couple vintage skateboards like i like to bring a little bit of my own flavor into the shop like some vintage 80s skateboards i think those are very cool so come into crypto exchange if you're interested i got a couple of them in here right now but yeah just all kinds of odds and ends i like vintage pokemon i'm surprised that hasn't sold it's really yeah it's it's what is it this is like a carrying case i think for like pens and stuff okay nice yeah but i mean you could use it for toys it just opens up and it's just storage nice yeah i gotta give a shout out to my brother matthew the 90s at80 this was like his dream toy when we were kids he still hasn't got it but here it is in the box dude come get it yeah he always wanted that that's really cool to see star wars like this was my favorite as a kid the atst my brother was the at80 i was so nice it's got to be something big you know like i'm trying to find something big yeah [00:06:30] Speaker 2: i mean these are big i got something big for you [00:06:34] Speaker 1: these are i got something big for you are these like are these like from the more recent movies [00:06:39] Speaker 2: yeah from jurassic world yeah right on still collectible you can't go wrong with a giant dinosaur the new ones are still collectible so that's what i like about them i want to give some uh [00:06:50] Speaker 1: some attention to this amazing throw yo i think that's super cool i saw it here last week and i just love the packaging on it like i love the 90s it kind of looks like super soaker style like that's just so cool i love stuff like this it's random you know it's like no one knows what a throw yo is yeah [00:07:10] Speaker 2: ton of hot wheels ton of hot wheels yep that's another top seller for us so we're grateful for the hot wheel community coming and shopping with us right now we got some uh three and three uh three and three quarter inch star wars figures on this wall uh kind of it's more empty than when you saw it last time so we're great for our own sales oh yeah they're selling so i got to restock on this pretty soon here as well i want to have a wall that looks just like this of just powers of the force [00:07:39] Speaker 1: there you go because it's like dude i mean these like these were the figures i was ripping open and playing with as a kid like lando he's so buff like they made the 90s star wars dude so jacked yeah but yeah these i mean these were all the figures that me and my brothers i have a whole bin full of these loose and i just i love seeing the card backs it just brings me right back to like being a kid shadows of the empire oh yeah dash rendar like i'm planning on picking up that whole line [00:08:11] Speaker 2: and i i just got the whole line was last week i might have to i might actually have to pick some of those up and socks are going to go up on that one that's true bro they're going to pump the whole store let me cool that was catching my eye honestly some of the micro machines like the 90s star wars micro machines but i'm kind of like i'm going for something big like one showpiece item for the collection not like something little okay like something something big you know something you're just like what i want to see something that you're not going to see in any other shops yeah or very commonly in other [00:11:06] Speaker 2: new year's um beginning of 2026 at midnight actually crazy someone posted it i went over to her house on new year's day and they had a blue snag in there too so what this is from micronauts it is the hornetroid but [00:11:21] Speaker 1: it's not complete it's like it looks like a big hornet robot um it's really cool i'm into micronauts it's a cool line 70s is a really cool line to kind of go down the rabbit hole but yeah this is missing some parts but that's cool to see loose nice never come across that oh also we have over here the star [00:11:40] Speaker 2: wars that you helped me find colin oh man so this was amazing i had to double check so make sure everything was good even though i was confident that everything was good when i was at the state sale you told me about right snagging the bag the only thing actually we're actually getting known for common rider stuff really mass rider stuff so it's another cool thing um that i didn't know we were going to get into what we're getting into because we have a small community here that love that stuff so wow we are buying selling and consigning common rider mass rider stuff dude that's really cool and i don't know if you stopped at the front of the store and saw that mass rider kfc yes yes yeah one of my [00:12:24] Speaker 1: favorite pieces that is so i saw that when i first came into the shop for the first time yeah and i thought that was incredible that's such a cool piece dude these are cool all right yeah there's a lot to see back here dude what else what's the deal with that yes i didn't even notice it's just sitting [00:12:44] Speaker 2: there what we just got this um we just got this two weeks ago no way i haven't processed it yet i wanted to make sure everything was authentic i talked spoke over with one of my vintage guys and they said looks authentic so i haven't had a time process it uh so before we bring something on the floor we make sure everything's authentic legit yeah dude this is clean with the oh man [00:13:11] Speaker 1: the hands on it or like the paint is good the feet aren't chipped this is version two i think it has the non-weighted feet i've dude i've been looking for a clean godzilla from no way yeah like a clean clean one i with the lever but so out of all things this is this dude this bro this is this for sale are you selling this what do you think are you gonna you said you haven't processed it yet let me ask [00:13:40] Speaker 2: you this yeah what are you asking for this i saw some comps on it so we kind of do a here crypto we we look at comps we look at market sometimes we're at market okay we're at the lower end we're at the lower end of the market right um we use ebay sold as tonic kind of gauge what something's worth um we never like to go over market i would like to say at market or a little bit below a market that's how we that's why we sell so many toys okay let's do let's do four on it 400. four [00:14:18] Speaker 1: that's actually that's a good deal that's a that's a very good deal this thing is clean because what the the things i'm looking for is obviously a a good lever the button is good the the feet aren't cracked like there's no like the head sometimes is split right here you know like if they've opened up the head to fix the lever or whatever [00:14:42] Speaker 2: four let's do that i think it's four dude i'm so glad you brought me back here because i wouldn't have seen this everything everything on it looks clean tongue looks good lever yeah this is i mean this is one of my favorite toys basically of all time i think this is just iconic so yeah this is this is going into the collection let's do it let's bring it up front [00:15:22] Speaker 2: look what we found back there so colin this is brian one of my our shop's uh vintage experts um he actually was the one that authenticated this and told me a little bit about this godzilla while we were processing in the back rooms and i'll let him speak a little bit about the the piece awesome yeah so this one they did many [00:15:43] Speaker 3: versions of the shogun godzillas this is uh i believe a second us release so the color of them is a darker green uh it doesn't have the reinforced lever yet the later ones get a reinforced lever because kids would break this like crazy and they also took away the sandbags in the feet the japanese one gets weighted sandbags in the feet so the us one doesn't have it but they're just they're just super hard to come by just wonderful pieces especially when the lever is still intact and the mechanism still fires i don't want to shoot that because that'll go flying they didn't care in the 70s but it's a great piece is he friend or foe you can decide launch his claw imagine his
