Hannity: This is the ONLY CHOICE moving forward

[0:00] Tonight, DEI is back. [0:01] Send a 20 migrant socialist to Congress. [0:13] Winning a single U.S. Senate seat was never the goal. [0:17] The goal is to use that seat to transform our politics. [0:22] Olamide Hannity, obviously not what you want to see the day after an election, [0:25] but historical midterm trends, they did play out last night. [0:29] This needs to be put in perspective. [0:31] You know, call it what it is, Barack Obama referred to his first midterm [0:35] as a shellacking, you might recall. [0:38] Now, I'm not recommending for every future president [0:41] that they take a shellacking like I did last night. [0:45] Now, that fits last night. [0:47] I know it's shocking, it's disappointing to many, including yours truly. [0:51] I refuse to join the I'm moving to Ireland madness chorus out there, the nuttiness. [0:56] I'm staying right here, and I'm going to make a prediction tonight. [1:00] Radical socialist, communist overreach, [1:04] buyer's remorse will kick in faster than we have ever seen in the history of this country. [1:10] Mark my words, we'll see. [1:12] Now, we are facing a consequential battle for the future of our country, [1:15] not hyperbole, simple truth tonight. [1:18] To some degree or another, it has happened to almost every modern day president. [1:23] Quick history lesson. [1:24] Reagan won big in 1980, lost the midterm big in 82. [1:28] Then two years later, he won 49 states in 1984. [1:32] Let's go to Bill Clinton. [1:33] He beat an incumbent president in 1992. [1:36] Two years later, a massive red wave. [1:38] Republicans taking control of the House for the first time in 40 years. [1:43] That is a shellacking. [1:44] Then Bill Clinton, two years later, reelected in 1996. [1:49] Obama won big in 2008. [1:51] There was a huge backlash. [1:52] The Tea Party movement in 2010. [1:54] Republicans won huge. [1:56] That was a shellacking. [1:57] In 2012, two years after that, Obama's reelected. [2:01] All right, what does this mean? [2:03] It's time to start off with a clean slate starting tonight. [2:06] Learn lessons, make adjustments. [2:08] Productive self-reflection is always good. [2:11] Finger pointing, blame, circular firing squads, they don't work. [2:15] If done right, it will make every single one better and stronger and our country ultimately stronger. [2:20] Now, start with these facts. [2:22] The new Democrats are the most radical in the history of our country. [2:27] Keep this in mind. [2:28] It's important. [2:28] Take a look. [2:29] We need to abolish ICE. [2:31] Like, there is no reason for this institution to exist. [2:33] I got one goal here on Senate Island, and that's to pass Medicare for all, and I'm not afraid to step on people's toes. [2:39] Our trans community needs abortion care, too. [2:41] There are many more than two biological sexes. [2:45] In fact, there are six. [2:46] We went to abolish Medicare! [2:50] In less than 24 hours, we got the full picture of where this group of Democrats are headed. [2:56] Number one, they are telling Republicans, lawyer up. [3:00] Number two, Abdul El-Sayed taunting Mike Rogers, the vice president, the president, on his victory speech. [3:08] Take a look. [3:09] Donald, look, I know. [3:12] You struggled with my name. [3:14] So after J.D. swears me in January, you can just go on and call me senator. [3:19] We'll just call you crazy because you are. [3:21] Now, forget the old niceties. [3:23] Oh, let's work together for the people of my state, for the good of the country. [3:27] No. [3:27] Those days are gone. [3:29] Number three, Hakeem Jeffries, he won't take impeachment off the table. [3:33] We'll have more on that in a minute. [3:34] Number four, nobody in the Democratic Party stood up to Hassan Piker and that wing of the party. [3:40] But the inclusion party, they did kick out Haley Stevens. [3:45] She's out of the party. [3:47] That's what we're dealing with. [3:48] Take a look. [3:48] Would the media lend credence to this argument or would they treat her as a rat and as a spoiler? [3:56] In response, we need to be voices of sanity, common sense, clarity, time-honored principles [4:02] that will keep America strong and prosperous for our kids, our grandkids. [4:06] Now, there are lessons to be learned. [4:08] Let's go through those. [4:09] Number one, the Iranian war. [4:10] Yes, I absolutely stand by. [4:13] It was the right call to prevent the Iranians, the radical number one state sponsor of terror, [4:19] from getting nuclear weapons. [4:21] Unfortunately, after that decision was made, there was some indecisiveness [4:25] and it prevented a quick, lasting outcome. [4:29] And as a result, Americans did suffer by paying higher energy prices. [4:34] Democrats drove a truck through that. [4:36] Americans are mad. [4:37] It's time now to fix that problem. [4:40] Number two, on the economy, we are seeing amazing progress. [4:44] Take a look at GDP numbers, manufacturing numbers. [4:46] Look at the Census Bureau. [4:48] If Republicans believe their tax cuts, deregulation, will work, [4:53] I've been a supply cider my whole life. [4:55] I believe it's working now. [4:56] It will not only be successful, but when the people, and Harold Ford brought this out last night, [5:02] once the American people feel it completely, it'll be a different story, different ballgame. [5:09] As of today, they screamed loudly yesterday that they're not feeling it. [5:15] We need to listen. [5:16] So if you believe in tax cuts, limited government, greater freedom, stay the course, [5:21] but give the American people a realistic expectation of when they will be feeling the positive effects [5:28] in their pocketbook. [5:29] Number three, if you're like me, you want border security, it's already happened. [5:33] Donald Trump achieved that. [5:35] He achieved a secure border. [5:37] Enforcement separate from the policy. [5:39] It's time to just ask the American people what they want and what they don't want in terms of enforcement moving forward. [5:47] Meanwhile, the DSA agenda touted by Democrats is not only cuckoo crazy, [5:51] but clearly a threat to our constitutional republic. [5:54] Now ask yourself this, will you want to be standing on the sidelines as this crazy agenda is quick, [6:02] look at it right there on your screen, read that. [6:04] As that is being implemented, or do you think that maybe we all have an obligation [6:10] for our children and grandkids to leave this country in better shape? [6:14] That has to be stopped. [6:16] Now that's the only choice moving forward. [6:18] I've made my choice. [6:19] I'm not going to back down. [6:21] I'm not going to Ireland because of one election year loss. [6:25] These things sadly are cyclical. [6:28] It is predictable. [6:30] And Donald Trump, he's still the president. [6:32] And the radicals in D.C. have the most powerful check and balance [6:36] that they're going to have to deal with day in and day out. [6:38] So my message tonight is all hands on deck. [6:43] Stay away from circular firing squads, finger pointing, blame. [6:47] Allow Democrats to show their true colors as they are now doing. [6:51] Have real answers on the other side.
