because I told [58:20] them this that Donald Trump was the only one of 17 candidates who read the tea leaves properly he knew [58:29] what the American voter the independent voter and the solid Republicans wanted to hear the other 15 were [58:38] asleep at the stick and I feel badly about that because I was very active for Mitt Romney I was [58:50] very active for Jeb Bush I was very active for George W I was in it all I was in it for 47 years [58:56] I've been a volunteer for almost 60 years and I've got to tell you that the revelation that we're getting [59:04] from your group and Donald J Trump is magnificent we're all learning and many of you are the teachers [59:19] and think about that for a minute you've got to teach that young fellow over there and you've got [59:24] to kind of background for this job that Donald Trump has and it gives me a great deal [2:21:12] of pleasure here in Michigan with a lot of great people here great universities great sports teams uh let [2:21:21] me tell you something more than anything I've done in my life is the opportunity to have a chance to [2:21:31] introduce to great American people the man who can put us back where we should be and I now give you that [2:21:39] man and that's Donald Trump great thing about that we can all be proud of black white whatever our color [2:22:56] is we can be damn proud that we're Americans and I want you to know from the bottom of my heart this [2:23:09] is the best man that we would ever be able to have to take care of the circumstances that we're in right [2:23:17] now and that is Mr. we're doing amazing [2:24:11] we're winning in Ohio we're winning in Iowa we're winning in North Carolina we're winning in Florida [2:24:21] we're winning big in Texas you know they were saying Texas is tied Texas is setting new voting [2:24:29] records we're winning all over the place folks this is going to be something special in eight days [2:24:36] we're going to win the great state of Michigan and we are going to win back the White House 100 percent [2:24:48] let me start today by making a very important promise to you when I win on November 8th I am going [2:24:56] to bring your jobs back to America you know it better than anybody else in this country the long [2:25:08] nightmare of jobs leaving Michigan will be coming to a very rapid end we're going to make Michigan the [2:25:17] economic envy of the entire world once again used to be the economic envy the political class in [2:25:26] Washington has betrayed you they've uprooted your jobs your communities and they've shipped your wealth [2:25:33] all over the world to Mexico and all over they put new skyscrapers up in Beijing while your factories [2:25:41] in Michigan were crumbling these were our politicians I will end the theft of American [2:25:49] prosperity believe me I will fight for every last Michigan job you're going to have plenty of jobs get [2:25:59] ready because when we win it's going to be mean you have to see [2:29:35] what happened in Minnesota but the increase is over 60 percent the Democratic governor has said and [2:29:41] he's a big Democrat the Affordable Care Act is no longer affordable he took a little heat for that [2:29:50] Hillary Clinton wants to double down on Obamacare making it even more expensive in fact much more [2:29:58] expensive than ever before she's going to double down in all fairness though folks based on what we're [2:30:04] reading in all fairness I think right now she has bigger problems than Obamacare they may finally [2:30:15] have gotten wise to the Clintons perhaps they've finally gotten wise well thank you I love you too [2:30:40] and I have to give the FBI credit that was so bad what happened originally and it took guts for [2:30:53] director Comey to make the move that he made in light of the kind of opposition he had where they're [2:31:00] trying to protect her from criminal prosecution you know that it took a lot of guts I really [2:31:10] disagreed with him I was not his fan but I'll tell you what what he did he brought back his reputation [2:31:16] he brought it back he's got to hang tough because there's a lot of a lot of people want him to do the [2:31:22] wrong thing what he did was the right thing I'm asking for your vote so we can replace Obamacare and save [2:31:30] the healthcare and look healthcare in this country is in such dire straits we're going to save healthcare [2:31:38] for every family in Michigan for every family in our country much less expensive much better healthcare [2:31:48] repeal national security purposes he lied one time he may go to jail for five years [2:32:54] she's lied so many times and the deletions this is the biggest scandal since Watergate Hillary wants to blame [2:33:03] everyone else for her mounting legal troubles but she has brought all of this on herself Hillary is [2:33:14] the one who set up an illegal private email server in a closet to shield her criminal activity Hillary is [2:33:24] the one who engaged in a corrupt pay-for-play scheme at the State Department and now there are five FBI probes [2:33:32] into the Clinton Foundation and their pay-for-play activities very very deep investigations Hillary is [2:33:43] the one who sent and received classified information on an insecure server putting the safety of the American [2:33:53] people under threat that's what she did 650,000 you know what I call that that's the mother load that's [2:34:07] some I think you're gonna find the 33,000 that are missing the 15,000 that are missing in an article he wrote in [2:36:59] an article quote I'm a Democrat I worked for Bill Clinton but I can't vote for Hillary and this is so [2:37:08] important Schoen writes I'm now convinced that we will be facing the very real possibility of a [2:37:17] constitutional crisis with many dimensions and deleterious and we all know that consequences [2:37:26] should Secretary Clinton win the election now I don't think that's going to happen so hopefully [2:37:33] that happens we did a bad job out here folks Schoen warns that if Hillary is elected she would be [2:37:42] under protracted criminal investigation and probably a criminal trial I will say so we'd [2:37:51] have a criminal trial for a sitting president in the meantime Putin who she likes to say bad things [2:37:58] about and all of the other leaders many of whom she says bad things about then you wonder why the [2:38:03] world hates us but all of these people will sit back and they will laugh and they will smile the [2:38:12] during Hillary's tenure as secretary of state it's massive her trade deal [2:47:29] with South Korea you know all about that one she was pushing it so hard instead of making a hundred thousand [2:47:36] it killed a hundred thousand American jobs so when you look around Michigan and you see the rusted [2:47:42] out factories the empty buildings and the long unemployment lines remember Hillary Clinton did [2:47:50] much of this to you she wasn't there and during the debates you watch the debates did I win the debates [2:47:56] by the way excuse me ah the debates I love those debates but you know I watched and she'd say I'm gonna [2:48:09] do this and I'm gonna do that and I'd say Hillary you've been there for 30 years why didn't you do it [2:48:13] she'd say I'm gonna change the tax code so that Donald Trump can't do that well what she doesn't [2:48:19] say is all of her donors are doing the same thing but I said to her I don't mind if you do that then [2:48:25] change the code why don't you do it nothing gets done the reason she'll never do it is because her [2:48:30] donors don't want it done okay and I'll have over a hundred million dollars in my campaign which means they move different places most of those jobs went to Mexico by the way [2:49:23] Mexico is doing very well if she's working for Mexico I think she's doing a great job we're going [2:49:31] to fight for the workers at Delphi anybody here from Delphi Delphi few they don't want to raise their [2:49:37] hand this guy had his hand sort of partially up are you with though he was like uh in other words [2:49:44] don't worry you'll be proud of it very soon they got a raw deal and they deserve better GM laid off 314 [2:49:52] workers at the Lake Orion assembly plant in 2013 because of imports from the South Korean trade deal [2:50:00] pushed by Hillary that was her baby Lear Corporation laid off many people in Rochester Hills and moved their [2:50:07] jobs to South Korea FTE automotive laid off 166 people in Auburn Hills place I know well their jobs [2:50:16] went to Mexico Chrysler laid off 5300 workers those jobs went to Mexico China and India and numerous other [2:50:26] countries Ford laid off 2155 workers their small car division is out they're gone they moved to Mexico [2:50:36] now Ford is moving a lot of different a lot of different production facilities to a lot of [2:50:43] different areas but when you look at what's going on our country we want them here a Trump administration [2:50:50] will stop the flight of American jobs if Ford or another company announces they want to move their [2:50:58] jobs to Mexico or to another country then I will pick up the phone and if I have to I'll do it personally [2:51:05] even though some people would say it's not presidential do I care it's not presidential sir [2:51:12] but I have some of the greatest business leaders Carl Icahn we have some of the greatest business [2:51:17] people in the world endorsing me they will do it unbelievably well believe me but we will have [2:51:22] and we will use our great business people we'll use our great to go we have the greatest negotiators [2:51:26] in the world we don't use them we use political hacks to make trade deals our trade deal with Mexico [2:51:33] NAFTA is a defective deal it was defective almost from the beginning because we have different tax [2:51:38] systems they're on a VAT system we're on our system well there's a 17 almost a 17 percent difference [2:51:46] so every deal we make we are behind 17 percent before we even start people have known that for [2:51:52] years and years and years and it's a defective agreement nobody's ever changed it believe me it's [2:51:57] going to get changed very quickly okay I will call the executives and I will tell them that if they [2:52:08] want to do that where they're taking their factories and they're taking their everything and they're [2:52:13] moving it and they think they're going to sell their cars or their air conditioning units back into [2:52:18] the country we will charge them a 35 percent tax when they try to ship their products back across what [2:52:27] will end up being an extremely strong border and you know what just the fact that we're going to do [2:52:36] that or we would do that they'll never move they're going to stay in Michigan nobody ever told them that [2:52:42] if somebody went to them say look please stay please take you know we'll do this that then they say no [2:52:46] we'll leave we'll go to Mexico then you say all right here's the story no more mr nice guy you make [2:52:53] your cars you make your air you know carrier air condition Indianapolis great place 1400 people laid off [2:52:59] violently I mean the guys were laying you off people worked there 30 years they laid them off [2:53:05] so all I say is this you want to build your plant in Mexico have a great time but if you think you're [2:53:11] going to ship your product across the border which would be a very strong border by the way very strong [2:53:16] you think you're going to ship your stuff across the border for no tax no nothing so we end up with [2:53:21] unemployment and end up we end up with empty plants and factories and you end up with the money the jobs [2:53:28] and the plants you can forget it and you know what would happen if you said that right up front [2:53:33] nobody's leaving folks you stop it right away the politicians don't want to say that because most of [2:53:39] them are too stupid to even understand it but the ones that aren't are taken care of by the special [2:53:48] interests and their donors because they want those companies to move because it's to their benefit [2:53:54] it used to be the cars were made in Flint and you couldn't drink the water in Mexico now the cars are [2:54:04] made in Mexico and you can't drink the water in Flint not good but we're going to turn it all around and [2:54:20] we're going to rebuild Flint I was to Flint recently and I tell you what it's gone down a long way and we're [2:54:28] going to help you rebuild Detroit and Mr. Gilbert's done a great job by the way friend of mine done a [2:54:38] great job and we're going to rebuild Michigan and we're going to keep your jobs and lots of other [2:54:43] things so I'd like to share a special message with the African-American community in Michigan which has [2:54:53] been so terribly harmed by the policies of the Clintons and a lot of the Democratic politicians look at the [2:55:02] city of Detroit take a look it used to be the manufacturing hub of the world now nearly half [2:55:09] of Detroit residents don't work it has the second highest violent crime rate in the United States [2:55:16] and the children are trapped in failing horrible government schools yet as the people of Detroit [2:55:24] suffer Hillary wants to spend trillions of dollars on government benefits for illegal immigrants and [2:55:30] refugees pouring into our country I've outlined a plan for urban renewal which I believe so strongly in [2:55:40] it's called a new deal for black America that deal includes a plan to use the money we will save by [2:55:50] securing our border and curbing refugee admissions to invest in communities like Flint and Detroit [2:55:58] we're going to bring in big numbers of jobs tremendous incentives it includes a pledge [2:56:06] of school choice for African-American children my plan also includes a promise to cancel billions and [2:56:20] billions of dollars in climate change spending for the United Nations it's insane a number that Hillary [2:56:32] wants to actually increase and instead use that money to provide for American infrastructure including [2:56:40] clean air and clean water you saw this recently we're going to spend billions and billions and billions of [2:56:51] dollars for a plan that we don't even know where the money is going and in the meantime our companies [2:56:57] won't be able to compete because they're being regulated and restricted they're not going to be able to [2:57:02] compete and I'm an environmentalist I will tell you I've received many environmental awards but [2:57:08] I want clean air I want crystal clean water and I want safety and we don't have to give hundreds of [2:57:18] billions of dollars away to people that are probably laughing at us they're not going to do anything you [2:57:23] know where the money's going not going to happen my plan also includes a pledge to reduce violent crime [2:57:31] every child in this nation has a right to grow up in safety and in peace and my plan includes a pledge to [2:57:43] restore manufacturing in the United States we're going to start making things again Hillary and [2:57:50] the Democratic Party have run the inner cities for years and only produced more poverty more crime [2:57:59] worse education the time has come for real change I'm asking you for the honor of your vote so together [2:58:08] we can turn decades of political failure into generations of lasting success for your children [2:58:16] and your grandchildren Hillary on the other hand wants to destroy what's left of manufacturing in [2:58:28] Michigan with the Trans-Pacific Partnership by the way a disaster it's a disaster a Trump administration [2:58:36] will stop the Trans-Pacific Partnership and by the way we're going to have tremendous trade deals [2:58:42] but we're not going to have a deal that's 6 000 pages long that ties in all of these countries [2:58:47] together you have to see a bar chart lines all over the place if somebody does something wrong you [2:58:53] can't do we're going to have single lines going to single single different countries and if they [2:58:59] don't do good by us we send them what's called a letter of termination 30 days and during that 30 days [2:59:07] they'll call and we'll probably make a new deal that it'll be even better simple deals folks you [2:59:13] have to see this crazy Trans-Pacific Partnership and they don't take care of monetary manipulation [2:59:21] which is the single biggest weapon that foreign countries use to kill us especially China their [2:59:29] grandmasters we will renegotiate NAFTA and if we don't get the deal we want we will terminate NAFTA and [2:59:37] get a much better deal we'll make a much better deal we are going to lower taxes on American business [2:59:46] from 35 percent to 15 percent we are going to massively cut taxes for the middle class we will [2:59:57] unleash American energy including shale oil natural gas and clean coal we're going to put our miners back [3:00:05] to work the Obama Clinton war on coal is going to cost this state 50 000 jobs at least and you have a [3:00:20] war and your steel workers too folks your steel workers are suffering we will also work to restore [3:00:26] and protect the Great Lakes we are going to become we are going to become a rich nation again but to be a [3:00:41] rich nation we must also be a safe nation Hillary Clinton wants a 550 percent increase in Syrian refugees [3:00:52] pouring into this country Hillary's immigration plans mean generations of terrorism extremism and [3:01:02] radicalism spreading into our schools our communities and every other place right here in Michigan and all [3:01:10] throughout the United States when we win we will suspend the Syrian believe the United States of America wants to put up a wall in 06 2006 Hillary was in favor of it [3:03:01] they couldn't get the approval to build the wall can you believe this and then you see China in the [3:03:08] middle of the South China Sea building a massive fortress and you know what happened they said Sunday [3:03:16] evening let's do it you know when work started Monday morning I jokingly said to a friend of mine in [3:03:23] China how long did it take you to get the environmental impact statement approved he [3:03:28] looked at me go you're kidding aren't you I said yeah I'm kidding so they're building they're ripping [3:03:34] it up with the biggest excavators you've ever seen and they're ripping it up and they're building up [3:03:39] they're not supposed to be doing it by the way the only reason they're doing it is because they have [3:03:44] no respect for our president who's out campaigning all the time this guy ought to spend more time [3:03:51] in bringing jobs back to Michigan and less time and less time fighting for somebody who's under [3:03:59] criminal investigation which he shouldn't be doing we've received the first ever endorsement [3:04:10] from our ice and border patrol officers 16 500 border patrol officers the first time they've ever done [3:04:20] it because they know we know what we're doing they tell us the border crisis is the worst it's ever been [3:04:29] it's a national emergency they also warn that America's plan under Hillary Clinton is the most [3:04:37] radical proposal quote radical proposal in U.S. history when I become
