willie horton in massachusetts that was dukakis willie horton [57:52] in massachusetts that happened dukakis went from a 10-point lead running for the presidency to getting [57:59] smashed in the election he went down like 18 19 points immediately here's a guy let out 88 murders [58:07] and one of them was the murderer of that beautiful young girl sitting in a train who had her throat [58:16] slashed from behind de carlos brown jr de carlos brown jr is his name the junior they have to always [58:25] add the junior it's horrible he let him out but 25 of the people including de carlos brown that would be the biggest story in the country you know that mike that'd be the biggest [59:22] story in the country in much less than two years we secured commitments for 22.2 trillion dollars of [59:28] new investment into the united states of america the greatest amount of money ever invested in our [59:35] country by five times it's the single greatest investment into a country in history and that [59:42] includes china and all the rest of them and thanks to my tariffs we have more factories and plants being [59:50] built in the united states right now than at any time in the history and you see it all over your state [59:56] and because of me the auto industry is doing better than it's ever done before with plants and factories [1:00:05] being built at a record clip and also being expanded all over the country but especially [1:00:13] in michigan you know you have uh an old i think it's a 1901 building ford and uh i saw them they [1:00:21] were going to close it it's one to win and bill ford and that group said well let's keep it let's see what happens with [1:00:36] trump but we got to get this thing closed it's a big drag and i think it's the biggest plant or one of [1:00:42] them in the country and uh so we waited a little while and four months ago they announced that they [1:00:50] are doing more business more hours they're working 24 7 they have three shifts seven days a week there's [1:00:57] never been anything like it he said i've never seen anything that's in detroit by the way stelantis is [1:01:12] building a new 400 million dollar factory here in your state ford is pouring three billion dollars [1:01:17] into central michigan and gm is investing billions and billions of dollars to bring production right [1:01:24] back here to detroit never happened before you know there was a time a little few years back because [1:01:37] we did pretty well in the first term too but this one is just blowing everything you know i had the [1:01:41] greatest economy in the history of our country in my first term this term is blowing it's going to blow [1:01:46] it away you're going to take short term taking a hit it's not a big hit i thought gasoline would go [1:01:54] up much more we had to make sure that the state number one if you look number one in all of the [1:02:02] countries in the world the nastiest the meanest the number one state sponsor of terror is iran by far [1:02:11] and you had to make sure they didn't have a nuclear weapon i said prices are going to go up i thought [1:02:16] honestly i thought they were going to scrounge up one more dollar [1:23:56] we'll have 1776 that was not that was not bad the five thousand dollar trump dividend is approximately [1:24:03] one trillion dollars think of it so the money that's being invested is 22.5 trillion the dividend [1:24:12] costs one we have more growth than any country has maybe ever had we are doing better than any country [1:24:19] has ever had we'll be able to do that the only caveat is the trump dividend the five thousand dollars that [1:24:26] you'll be getting very shortly after the election you have to promise me one thing you will only spend [1:24:31] that money of the united states of america you will not go to france you will not spend it in france [1:24:45] you will not spend it in italy you will not spend it in any other country but secretary in the president's office we [1:29:38] talked about hey i've got this problem that we've been talking about in michigan for 20 years we [1:29:43] haven't been able to get fixed those canadians send truck after truck after truck loaded with their trash [1:29:50] into our state the president just this week announced he's going to tariff those trash trucks [1:30:03] with your help with [1:42:53] candidates it has nothing to do it's just love the love that we have for each other so let me see [1:42:58] those charts please okay maga gop on trump in the 2024 election versus kamala harris he got [1:43:04] 99 of the maga gop vote perhaps surprisingly i might have thought it'd be a hundred percent but [1:43:10] it was 99 compare that to his approval rating now with the maga gop it's 98 that is there's been no [1:43:17] real decline in maga support these folks say that they're going to vote for congressional republicans [1:43:23] come the midterm elections again that's the 99 that trump got against kamala harris look now in terms [1:43:29] of the congressional vote 98 of them say they're going to be voting for house republican candidates [1:43:34] so that support is actually really holding up strong it's really really strong when it comes [1:43:39] to maga gop and the republicans holding on to that vote of this one okay the president republicans most [1:43:45] admire it's donald trump this is a historic comparison a majority of republicans say 53 [1:43:51] say he's the republican president they most admire ronald reagan who traditionally has won that much [1:43:57] donald trump nearly triples up on this reagan at just 18 percent and then abraham lincoln who by [1:44:03] most historic accounts is the greatest president of all time but republicans say that the president [1:44:08] that they most admire by what is this this is six seven times as many donald john trump at 53 [1:44:15] easily crushing abe lincoln at eight percent and the elon poll showed that he was the greatest [1:44:19] president as well i feel like this slide might end up on a printout on his desk he's great i hope he [1:44:26] keeps his job because he's great he's a great guy so in conclusion if you elect a republican house and [1:44:35] a republican senate on november 3rd we will continue to put america first every single day always we [1:44:47] will win the war on corruption and fraud led by our great vice president jd vance we will pass the no [1:44:59] invasion of our country act prohibiting any future president from ever opening our borders to allow [1:45:06] illegal immigrants to gain access we will not allow that we will ban sanctuary cities immediately and [1:45:16] pass the death penalty for large-scale drug dealers human traffickers and anyone who kills a police [1:45:23] officer or a member of law enforcement death penalty we will pass voter identification proof of [1:45:38] citizenship and the save america act to defend our sacred american elections and we will enshrine in [1:45:50] permanent law no men in women's sports and no trans agenda utilization of your children so ladies and [1:46:01] gentlemen of michigan the golden age of america is upon us but you must get out and vote and you have [1:46:07] to vote republican i would say everybody in this room is voting anybody gonna vote democrat in this room [1:46:14] do we have any takers don't raise your hand if you are to be not a good but we've already made [1:46:22] unbelievable progress and now we'll reach new levels of greatness that's what we're doing and that's [1:46:27] what we'll continue to do we've never done anything like this happened in the last even less than two [1:46:33] years so it's my honor to be your president during such an exciting time in
